Electrical Engineer moving from Perth to Melbourne, working full time in the automotive industry. Pretty chilled out dude, always up for a casual beer and some sports but my heavy partying days are mostly behind me so not really looking for a party house. Love playing sport and keeping active, and on the lookout for a new footy (AFL) club to play for (so if you play as well, great!). Love my beer and wine and attempting to cook new food (and most likely failing). Looking for a room around the Brunswick area and hopefully with housemates who will quickly become mates.
Hi my name is Elise. I am currently working in hospitality and going back to study this year to finish my Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi! I've just come back from my GAP year in Scotland and I'm looking for somewhere to live while I go to Uni. I'm originally from the Gold Coast and I love sport and having fun. I'm a nice guy and enjoy mucking around a bit. I'm clean, friendly and real easy to get along with, and enjoy socialising but also love alone time. I play the guitar and enjoy building things in my spare time and love my movies and music too.
Hi i'm Rachel, I'm clean and tidy and pay my bills on time. I'm fun and ambitious.. But also quiet (if its possible to be both) Disney movies are the best and I can't live without coffee. I enjoy a good night out as well as quiet nights in.. :) would love to find a place that I could bring my dog Sampson (he's a maltease shitzu x staff.. only staffy trait he's got is being a sook) but to be honest I just need out of the place I'm in at the moment, so can leave him with my parents where he currently is) Ask me anything but give me a chance?
I am a full-time student studying master of architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I have been in Melourne for 2 years. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I don't smoke and don't like drag. I enjoy having a night in with movies and mates but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I am into music, painting, reading, movies, swimming, photography and biking, recently i am making some interesting graphic by programming. When i am free, i like hanging out to discover new restaurants, new places and fitness or staying at home for cooking or cleaning. Meanwhile, I love chatting with people, for sharing our stories and exchange our opinion. I am a gay, so definitly LGBTI+ friendly. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share life and happy time with my potential lovely roommates. I also would love to share my food and hang out with roommates as well as respect your privacy and keep independence for myself. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. Ideally, I hope the room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 5 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February, but i can also move in Jan if the room is really what I am looking for.
Hi everyone! I'm Arabelle! I'm 27, junior doctor and new to Melbourne, from Perth. I'm a considerate, respectful, clean and friendly housemate. Always up for a glass of wine but respectful of individual space. I'm no party animal - occasionally out late but happiest well rested with a cup of tea listening to a podcast. Available to move in from beginning of February Would love to hear from you!
Just two Canadian girls who are looking to spend a few months working in Melbourne! ( Looking to rent 2 bedrooms) We are easy going, above average cooks ;), love the outdoors and going for a pint or two once and a while!
Hi! James & I aren't a couple but a couple of bloody great mates who wanna meet some new pals, live in a cool area and have fun. We both work in the creative industry (he's a graphic designer and I work in TV production) and hail from London. Looking to be in Melbourne long term but as we just arrived don't want to commit to anything longer than 6 months as life evolves and who knows what may happen, looking for a little nest to finally open our backpacks up in for now. We both like art, films, bad jokes, sunshine & beers, music and good company. We've both lived on our own for a very long time and are fully house trained. Grocery shopping / chores / washing up / wiping down / hoovering / mopping / mirror shining / window cleaning / bed making / skirting-board dusting... you name it. We will do it. Hopefully we can meet someone SOON!!
Hey! I'm Jack, 22 from Queensland and moved here at the start of 2016. I love to sing and play the piano, and hopefully will study at university next year. I work as a barman/Barista...social and creative person. :)
- laid back/ chill - clean, organised, responsible - quiet - minds my own business - understanding - open-minded
I have a passion for design, martial arts and video games. More importantly, I'm fine with chores and will maintain the cleanliness of my accommodation. I'm an open-minded young lad from Malaysia that does artsy stuff and plays video games for fun.
Hi! My name is Zack. I'm 24 years old and I'm currently seeking a private room in a share house. I work full time as a professional house painter and I'm really passionate about it. I love making things look beautiful again! I work during the day and sometimes weekends too. I love going out and getting my groove on and meeting new people. Don't mind the old bar sesh wherever it may be but I'm really into raves pumping that sweet psychedelic trance and other tripped out music that makes you feel like your in another dimension as I feel like I am most the time anyway. Love the bush doof scene! From what I know from family, friends and co-workers I am a fun, friendly and respectful person. I really enjoy other peoples company but acknowledge and respect the occasional need for alone time. I also respect the fact that when you're living with other people you need to make a conscious effort to be mindful of the general upkeep of the house. I like to live in a tidy house and don't mind regular cleaning. I also love to cook, especially for others. Hoping to meet some like minded individuals but I'm honestly open to anything. Let me know, thanks!
I'm a bit of an arty farty chick who is currently studying Advertising at RMIT. I have a concerning obsession with Japanese food and Instagram. I also love a bit of banter and go crazy over art, music, food and photography. I'm originally from The Sunshine Coast (QLD) and only moved down to Melbs at the start of 2016 (still a bit of a newbie) so I'm always very keen to meet new, like minded people! I'm super clean (but not a neat freak), independent, and very easy going. I love hanging out with my friends so I would definitely be inviting people over every now and then! I am very excited to cook up a storm next year as I love to cook too, however I cannot go past 2 min noodles most of the time.
Hey hey :) Im a friendly, easy going chick that enjoys working and living a simple life. I've got a pretty good sense of humour and tend to joke around once you get to know me. I see the positive side in the majority of things. Also having an understanding and respect of privacy as well as each individuals life style is really important. So living with a like minded person is a must. I'm currently living in Pascoe Vale and looking for a change. I do have a tv, with a cabinet that it sits on as well as a couple of bed side tables and looking to buy a new queen sized bed. So I'd prefer a room that could accommodate that furniture. (Though i can be flexible with the bed depending on the quality). I tend to keep to myself after work as I get pretty tired, though im easy to have a chat with. Im a traffic controller so I usually work big hours Monday to Friday and some weekends. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating with the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally, I'll do my share and a good job at that! :) Having my own bathroom is preferred aswell. Im preferably looking to find a place that's got the rent and utilities included together. I've grown up being efficient with my usage, so I don't see it fair to pay for others excessive usage. I will give you peace of mind with my usage :) Also I'm a really big animal lover, so if you have any pets I'll be happy to have them around :) :) 💜 Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Hi, I'm 17 but turning 18 soon! I'm from Newcastle NSW moving to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Music (performance - Cello) at the University of Melbourne. I'm easy going and can get along with any personality. I'll be looking for a part-time job once I move to Melbourne and will be spending a lot of time at the Uni.

Hey, My name's Andrea, going on 23 and from Norway. I am currently studying psychology and geography at Melbourne Uni (2nd year), and normally I keep pretty busy during the week. I'm a responsible, open-minded and social person, always up for a laugh and good times, but also very independent and respectful of space. I'm also a major foodie, enjoy a good book and absolutely love traveling. I've got several years of flatshare experience and like to believe I'm a pretty great person to live with. I'm looking for a sharehouse with 1-4 other people starting from January 22nd, the earlier the better. Ideally I'd like to live with people who are up for a good chat over a meal or drinks from time to time, and who are also quite relaxed, open-minded, clean and generally respectful of others. And of course keen to make the sharehouse a home! Hope to hear from you, thanks!
Hey guys, i'm urgently looking for a new place to stay in summer holiday probably for 3 months. I am currently living in a house with my housemate and I have got hips of house stuff that I should sell before I move ..like fridges, washing machine, desks, beds and so on. Then, i want a peaceful room or house to stay by bringing only 2buggages and my digital piano, because I'm a music student. If you have any place for me anywhere in Melbourne near city will be great for me... By the way, I'm very easy going and positive person would like to go out with my housemates and have a drink etc. I'm a third year music student at monash uni. Clayton campus. Thanks everybody... Looking foward to your friendly and helpful messages.. Xxx
Easy going, social, but I've got quite a bit on so the relaxed kind of social. My books, my plants and myself are looking for place to share with fun, open-minded, respectful people who are used to share space. I'm studying and teaching french for a living. French is my native language and even though I've been in Australia for ages my choice of words appears to be a fairly good source of entertainment.
Hi my name is Frances, I'm from Canberra moving to Melbourne to study product design at Swinburne uni. I am a very friendly and easy going person with a relaxed attitude to life who loves food, film, art ,design and the occasional night out as well as spending all day in bed watching Netflix, I am a fairly good cook and occasional baker who will also be working part time in hospitality.
Hi there, I'm Tarsha! I'm currently studying Visual Merchandising and working in a fun little porcelain store part time. I like riding my bike, trying new cafes, going to gigs and galleries, the odd red wine or two and hanging out with friends, you know, the usual human things. At home I like to cook, draw, read and Netflix binge. I'm tidy and easygoing and am looking for a homey vibe rather than a party house. Although I have no pets of my own I love animals; I can't walk past a dog without asking for a pat!
I'm Gwen (French soon to be graduate/future work holiday visa applicant) looking for a nice place to live starting from February. Studies and sports/societies keep me busy busy but love to relax over a beer (and more often than not, 2). I am far from a hermit, keep my door open so as not to feel too lonely 😉 have $$ and am clean!
Hi I'm Di. I have just finished a postgraduate university degree at Adelaide University and have been offered a position in at St Vincents Research Institute in Fitzroy. I have lived in a share house the past year. I am easy to get along with, clean up after myself, enjoy socialising but am also happy to give people their own space. I have a small black and white cat that is house trained that I will bring with me.
My name is Noni, I am 22, been living in Melbourne now for four years. Unfortunately my lease at my place has come to an end and my three other housemates are moving onto other places with friends, so I am in the market for a place to live hopefully long term! I have a bachelor I’ll never use in entertainment business, I just started working at a music venue on Sydney Road, but am on the hunt for a second (day) job, and once I can afford too, I really want to do my swimming teacher course, which would lead to a proper adulthood job. I am a pescetarian, but am use to living with people who eat meat. I like making plant hangers and crafting, collecting crystals and rocks, photoshopping photos of my friends, the outdoors gardening and adventuring, reading (I own a small library), music, going to markets, opshopping, tv show binging, and pretending I can cook. I will let you borrow my clothes but not my hats (soz) I am neat and tidy, and respectful of shared spaces. I don’t normally party, but when I do it would it would be out of the house, but sometimes I would like friends or family to come over for dinner and drinks. and would love a house that has a homie feeling, instead of just a room in a house. I do have Jeff Probst, my Trump look-a-like guinea pig living with me, who has kept my lawns short and eaten my veggie cuttings this past year, however if he can’t keep hanging with me, I am sure my 10 year old sister would love to have him at her house. I also come with a household of furniture, which if we don’t need I can store at my dads farm or sell, this includes a six seated custom made dinning table, a big arse smart tv, kitchenwares, peacock chairs, other cane furniture etc honestly the list is endless. I am looking for a place around the Brunswick area, praying for around $680pcm (but will pay more) in price and will be needing a place by about Feb the 12th, or i’ll have no other option but to move back to my dads place (please don’t make this happen) would really love to hear from you, Im excited for new adventures and meeting new people!! :)
This little, accomodating house is a short walk to both Lygon St and Sydney Rd. Being located in the heart of Brunswick means that, of course, there are loads of cafes situated around us, many parks to hang out in, and multiple supermarkets in the near vicinity (we're a ten minute walk from Barkly Square!). In terms of public transport, you'll be close to the number 1, 8, and 19 tram lines, and a five minute walk from Brunswick train station. The house itself is cosy, and sweet. We like to keep it as clean as possible, so we aren't looking for anyone that's particularly lazy (however, we are forgiving to anyone who has a disability be it physical or mental health related). We aren't looking for anybody that's hellbent on partying every night as the houses here are all very close together and we aren't looking to upset our neighbours and have to be up early for work Monday through Friday. You mUST be lgbtqpia+ friendly!!!! Must!!!! No exceptions!!!! No bigots!!! shoo, shooo away!!!! You must be willing to sign a 6 month lease!
Heya! I'm a super organised, neat, reliable student moving from Perth to study at the University of Melbourne. I'm happy to spend time by myself but appreciate good company! I enjoy going out for coffee and dinner but also chilling at home with a cup of tea watching netflix. :)
Hi, I'm a 28 Years old Mexican international student currently looking for a single room. I work in Kew as a Cleaner Supervisor (I'm certain you wont have any cleaning problems with me) Monday - Friday and go to school 3 days a week to the CBD, for that reason I'd like a room in a place mostly with easy access to the CBD. I normally have a busy schedule some days a week between work and study, but I may have off my weekends to either chill at home or hang out with friends, I have a TV and a PS4 I am happy to share, as well as a car to do maybe a road trip, go to the beach, or even grocery shopping. and advantage point with me is that as being Mexican, I'll be able and happy to cook plenty of traditional dishes from my country, way better than the ones we can get at any restaurant here. Also due to my occupation, I have a great vacuum machine and I wont mind doing some thorough vacuuming of the house once in a while (I have some experience doing house cleaning, although I consider is important to share all activities, I know how to do them efficiently and fast. We will never have to hire any cleaning services). I hope to hear from you guys soon, and I wish also to meet my future housemates.
Looking for someone to share my apartment with. it's on the small side, but the spare room is a pretty decent size. The room has a queen bed, and a sofa bed in there at moment, as it doesn’t fit in the lounge, but I can put the sofa into storage if you don’t want it in the room. It also has a built in wardrobe. At the moment it's used to store my junk, but this will be moved before anyone moves in. Shared bathroom with a washing machine. I have 400gb internet data a month, and a land line that you can use if you need. There’s not too much space in the kitchen, but we can reorganise things. I rent the fridge from radio rentals, so we may need to get a bigger one. I also have an extensive DVD collection. There is also an off street parking space available. It’s located just off Sydney Road in Brunswick, 7ks from the city. There’re lots of cafes nearby, as well as a pub at the end of the road that does pretty good food. There are also lots of medical facilities nearby if you need them. There are 3 tram lines to choose from either on Sydney or Lygon, also a train station about a 15-10min walk away. It’s a great location, and I love it. Bills are roughly $30 a week, this is phone/net, power and the fridge. I also have netflix. Before moving in, you'll need to fill out the tenant application form and be approved by the land lord. The lease is up mid June, so I may look to move to a cheaper place on my own, or possibly with someone and get a bigger place.

Hey guys! A bit about me. I’m a messy, inconsiderate jerk who hates fun yet for some reason is constantly bringing the party home. Kidding! My name is Tom, I’m 19 from London, and was recently moved to Melbourne by my company. My hobbies include going gym, football or soccer as you call it, rugby, IT software & hardware, binge watching tv shows and recently have found that coffee is amazing. I am a tidy person, however if there is ever a small mess it is kept to my own room. I enjoy a drink or two on the weekends, a good chat, but also enjoy a bit of me time. Send me a message if you want to know anything else about me!
We are a couple from the UK who has just spent 5 months travelling South East Asia. We are now in Melbourne trying to secure full time jobs for the foreseeable future. We are sociable, tidy and respectful people who enjoy excercise and good food and drink on the weekend.
