I'm Jenina - a postgrad journalism student at UniMelb. About me: I like books, theater, travel, and the occasional Netflix binge. I used to work in publishing and communications - plus a short stint teaching English! - before switching over to journalism. I moved here from Manila in mid-2017. I'm tidy and easygoing. I would love a social household, but I can respect privacy as well. I'd need to move in on or before August 11th, but my length of stay can be pretty flexible. Message me if you're interested!
Friendly, sociable, well-travelled. Enjoy good conversation and a few laughs. Also self-sufficient, happy to respect others' privacy. Based on some of the responses I got when I was last searching on this site, I should assure potential housemates in their 20s and 30s that I won't drone on and on about the Good Old Days until I have dinner at 6.00pm, play a couple of Bing Crosby 78s on my wind-up Victrola, then demand total silence when I call it a night at 7.00pm. I have worked in the music industry for the last 30 years (booking bands for music festivals and venues). I have been off work for some time (a throat problem required surgery late last year), but hope to resume full-time work soon. Music aside, my interests include golf, AFL, reading, movies, food (dining out, cooking), wine, travel.
My name is Nina and I am a Dutch exchange student at the University of Melbourne. Back home, I study biomedical sciences at Amsterdam University College. I love theatre and going to arthouse movies. Besides that, I enjoy cooking a lot, and like to experiment with different vegan recipes. I'd describe myself as easy going, clean, and social, which is why I'm looking for housemates that are up for a chat/drink and enjoy the occasional dinner or movie night. That being said, I also appreciate having my own space and therefore also respect that of others. I will be studying at the uni for a semester and I'm looking for a place to stay starting next week until halfway November. Hope to hear from you! :) X Nina
Hi! I'm an architect from India, coming to pursue my masters in Melbourne from July. I need a temporary place for a month, before my permanent stay is ready. I'm clean, I can cook (to survive), I love to eat and talk. A lot. I tend to snooze a lot too, but given the course I'm pursuing, I doubt I'll get any. I like meeting new people and going out, but I also love chilling at home with friends and a beer. :) I enjoy trekking/going for a run and would love to explore Melbourne & Australia.

Hello, Looking for a place to live whilst I finish my final semester at RMIT. I study and work in Communications, as well as a bit of music and dance performance on the side. I'm a real creative person, and would describe myself as an introvert, although I'm super open and happy to chat to anyone about anything. I'm into current events, ted talks, classic rock, electronic music, playing guitar and singing. I love keeping fit and going to gym everyday... So an occasional gym buddy would be a bonus! I'm tolerant and aware of personal space, noise and keeping things looking tidy. I'm also hoping to find a place that's close to a main street and train station.
we are so easy going, I'm working full time in the CBD and my partner is a Teacher, we are looking for a nicely and lovely place for about 4 to 8 months, we don't if it's gonna be more, but just to start. We are so clean and tidy and respectful with other . we like to go out for coffee, brunch, walks, dancing when we can.
Hi Guys, I'm a 26 year old Engineer from Geelong who has recently started working up in Melbourne. I have recently had to move out of my current share house due to the house being SOLD. I am an active guy, enjoy playing basketball and soccer and so am constantly on the move. I work a standard 9-5, Monday to Friday job and like to have my house clean and organised. I have an Italian back ground and am all about making new friends. Always keen for a drink and it doesn't take much to twist my arm to go on an adventure or go do something fun. I have a relaxed personality and so i believe would be able to work well in either a mixed or an all male house hold. hope to here from you soon :)
Heya! I’m currently working full time as a team assistant in the professional services world. I’m always down for a chat, drink Or two and a fun night out but also definitely need my own quiet time.
Recently moved from Canberra to Melbourne. Easy going, reasonably tidy, looking for somewhere to live for the next 6+ months and to meet some new people. I'm a bit quiet, but I don't mind having a chat or hanging out. I enjoy listening to music, a good meal, a bit of movies and TV. Don't have any pets, but I don't mind them at all. I probably go for a jog about as often as I have a pizza (Unsure what that says about me). I'm working full-time in IT in East Melbourne.
Hey, Vishaal this side. I am a full-time masters student at unimelb. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean around. I m a quiet person, not a party animal but cool with socializing and having small chats. Looking for a room somewhere close to university.
Hello, I'm Freya, 26 years. I'm a Chartered Accountant and just moved to Melbourne on a 3 month secondment from my firm in the UK. Hi! I am Elisa. A 29 yo dietitian female from Argentina who has living and working in Sydney for the last 2 years. Recently I decided to move to Melbourne because of my studies. I'm a CLEAN, respectful, quiet and reliable person. I'm friendly but I know what is respect others space. I'm looking for a place where I can call home, not a party house. No smoke I enjoy swimming, zumba and ciclying. Pet-friendly :)
I'm stuck far away and I need to be closer to the city! I'm a Sunbury girl needing to be closer to work. I'm always honest, upfront and respectful. I own a 10 yr old staffy cross. She was rescue breeding mum from a puppy farm, always loves affection and is medium sized. I live about my life solely on good vibes :) Would preferably want an unfurnished private room. Message me for more details :)
Hello! My name is Chase and I'm an exchange student from America who will be studying at RMIT. This will be my first time to Australia, so I'm interested in making a lot of friends and exploring the city. I'm an art student and enjoy entertainment like shows and video games, so oftentimes I'm not a very loud housemate. However, I do also love the ocean and outdoor activities, so I'd be up for that kind of stuff as well if you want to become friends. Sometimes I can stay up pretty late. I enjoy my personal space, but I also like being around people. (Although I'm not exactly great at small talk.) I prefer open minded, friendly people. No smoking or drug use is a requirement. Drinking is fine but I probably won't drink, myself. I'd prefer my own room because I'll probably voice chat my friends and family. I can be pretty flexible and easygoing.
I am looking for a friendly share house around Northcote/Clifton Hill/Fitzroy North area. I am currently working full time as an Occupational Therapist in aged care, with a new full time job starting in the disability sector at the beginning of September. I enjoy being active and healthy, going to the gym, yoga, indoor soccer and for runs. I also enjoy going for overnight hikes when I have the time or out for a drink and a dance with my friends on the weekend. I like socialising with my housemates and cooking meals together every now and again. I am vegetarian, so living in a vegetarian/vegan house would be a plus, but not a must.

Hi, my name is Tahlie, I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently living in my own unit on the far south coast of NSW. I will be moving to Melbourne at the start of august/end of July to study! I am looking to move into a share-house with people around the same age as me! I am extremely clean and tidy and like to have my own space as well as to socialise. I am excited to move into a share-house and meet new people and start my life in Melbourne! :)
Hi there! My name is Eleonore (22) and I am currently looking for a flat for me and my friends Edouard& Nicolas (22) and Agnes (23). We are French engineering students coming to the University of Melbourne for the year to come. We really would like to share a house with other internationals to enjoy our stay here. We both are very laid back (and super clean, ahah) people. We used to live together back it France and everything went very smoothly. We both like to cook (but don't expect too much, we are far from being French chefs...). We both like our alone time sometimes (and understand when others need it) but we are also very sociable and like to go out or just grab something to eat together once in a while. We intend to live with our flatmates, not next to them hopefully 🙂 If you want more information please don't hesitate to contact us! Eléonore
