G'day! My name is Hans, and I'm 21 year-old viking from Denmark who's very interested in finding a place. I've been having fun in Melbourne for about 3 months now and I'm loving it here! I work as a waiter/bartender at Riverland Bar. I'm very open to meeting new people and love going out to see awesome stuff, everything from hiking and biking to concerts or festivals. Additionally, i speak fluent banter. I've lived abroad in Singapore for 8 months and stayed in hostels around Asia for another 9 months, so I definitely know the importance of respecting privacy and cleanliness. These trips abroad have made me quite mature for my age as well. Anyway, I'd love to meet up for a chat or go for an inspection, i'm sure it'll be great! See you soon Hans
Hey guys.. I'm pretty much always relaxed and an easygoing kind of guy. Basically all about having a good time, enjoy a good night out, music, doing any type of sports, watching netflix and good food. In terms of living, I clean up after myself and do not mind helping around the house if needed. Some background information.. Grew up near Amsterdam. Worked in construction, restaurants, bars, warehouses, factories you name it. But for now I am a student and will be staying in Melbourne for an Exchange period at RMIT University, on a Working Holiday Visa, and will also be looking for a part-time job.
Hey there! I'm a girl from Barcelona moving to Melbourne around the 15th of March to study and work for a year. I'm a 28 year old graphic designer very chill and easy going person looking to move in with people more or less the same age. I'm willing to pay $300 but can be flexible. I enjoy cooking with a glass of wine, good conversation, being outdoors and meeting new people. I'm clean and tidy and love any kind of pets. Non smoker!

Hi my names Madeleine and I'm 18 - I love animals and am a very respectful and friendly person of everyone. I'm moving up from Adelaide to do a film course in Melbourne and love film and any arts related subjects!
Hi, I'm Chris. I'm 26 and I'll be coming down from Sydney for around 3 months from the end of March to June. I'm looking for a furnished room, reasonably close to the city. I'm super clean, always tidy up after myself, and love having a chat over a drink or two but I also like to spend time doing my own thing. Much of my time would be spent at work (in retail) or exploring the city and it's sights. I'm not a smoker and won't be bringing any pets with me..
G'day legends, I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne whilst doing postgraduate work, as well as chill out and pursue creative interests! I am currently in Brisbane, QLD but I will be starting to study full time at Monash University by the 20th of February doing a Graduate Diploma in Reproductive Science, and I'm looking for people who I can study as well as chill out with, who are hopefully also clean, conscientious and respectful of one another. I get around having a pint at the pub, a boogie at a bar or festival, and of course hanging out at home. I will be looking for part/full time work once I move down. I'm a big fan of house, disco and techno music especially the Boiler Room series, film and design. Check it out!
I am very laid back, easy to get along with, social, always keen to hang out, enjoy cooking. I am 21 years old, currently studying Interior Design and Decoration and RMIT, I love photography, music and clothes.
I'm very open-minded, easy-going and uncomplicated. I love to cook 👨🍳 Since I have a job in Melbourne I can definitely pay the weekly rent. Furthermore I'm very respectful and a tidy person.
Hi lovely people, We are a couple in our *cough* 40s, who masquerade as adults during the day and like to watch horror movies, go to gigs and generally pretend we're still in our 20s after school hours. We have been together forever, living in separate countries (NZ, Europe and OZ), but are (much to the relief of our friends) finally getting married in May and have decided to settle in Melbourne permanently. We are very tidy and considerate, I work full time and he arrives on Friday. We are very social, but not party animals and enjoy meeting new people. I'm very familiar with Melbourne, whilst he's still learning where everything is. We own a car and would like a carpark if possible, but on street parking is fine as long as it has a permit. We would prefer to move this weekend, we have a lease in St Kilda which begins at the end of April, so we are looking for a place to stay until April 22nd which is close to the city.
Hi :) My name is Lexi, I am 30 years old and from England. I have recently returned to Melbourne after travelling around New Zealand. I am working full time in the CBD as a travel agent and now looking for a new place to call home. I would like to live in a spacious apartment with friendly housemates. I am pretty laid back and respect other people's privacy. I am social and enjoy having interesting conversation over a glass of wine.
Hello ! My name is Alex, I am a 23 years old French guy doing a full time internship in the city. I arrived in Melbourne 2 months ago and been living in a sharehouse in Fitzroy since then. My sublet comes to an end so i'm looking for a new room in the area ! I am easy going, respect other people's privacy and always keen for a chat, share a meal and have a glass of (french wine). Looking forward hearing from you :) P.S : my french accent is very entertaining !
Hey! My name is Anja, I’m 22 and I’m looking for a room in a house/flat asap as per now I'm just extending and extending my stay at a hostel, and I'm not too keen on spending my semester here. My price range is preferably up to about $250 pw + bills, though I’m able to pay more as well. I’m also able to pay bond, and I'm reliable with rent. I’m looking for a place to call home whilst in Melbourne and would also like to hang out with you / cook dinner together / go out every once in a while if you're up for that. I’m not a heavy partyer, but I do like the occasional party. I have experience from shared living spaces and will happily take part in chores around the house/flat. I actually like vacuum cleaning and emptying the dishwasher / doing the dishes, so I’m happy to contribute extra with this :) Some more info about me: I’m from Norway and I usually study chemistry there, but I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Melbourne this semester. I’m preferably looking for a furnished room, though unfurnished may also be alright. I’d like to rent a room until late June or sometime in July (whenever works for you). I love animals, music and travelling, and I’m a vegetarian (but it won’t be a problem for you). I obviously don’t have any household items to bring into a sharehouse, but I will happily buy / chip in for anything needed!
Hi there, I'm Amy - 24 years old and from Melbourne. I work full-time in publishing, and keep the standard 9-5 office hours. I just finished my Masters and am looking to move closer to the city to fully enjoy the benefits of not having to study on the weekend. I'm a big culture fan - books, films, TV, music, gigs etc etc - and love nothing more than a chat over beersand some cheese with good tunes and nice people. I'm sociable and friendly but also really dig my alone-time and am respectful of other peoples schedules and needs. I like going out just as much as binge watching The West Wing. I can guarantee I'll be house-proud and am great when it comes to washing up and contributing the household in any way I can. LGBTIQ+ friendly, non-smoker, animal lover, proud owner of both Netflix and Stan, come with plenty of kitchenware and a couch (that don't necessarily have to come with me just yet), ready to move in whenever and looking to hang around for at least six months.
I am well traveled, sociable, but respectful of personal space, love travel, music, cooking, intelligent conversations, beer, nights in, adventures out and nature, sunshine, creativity and laughter. Reliable, pay bills on time etc.. I am a young professional moving from Sydney to start a new full time job this week and am looking forward to meeting my new house family! Renee Louise Chaumont :)
I’m seeking for a housemate in a very nice and trendy neighbourhood in Brunswick! You will live in renovated Victorian terraced house, with two big bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a beautiful backyard and a front yard. Your room is quite spacious with large windows to get sunlight and a nice view from the backyard’s garden. There is already a queen-size bed, a bedside table and a large built-in wardrobe in your room. All rooms are also featured with cooling and heating air conditioning. The whole house is fully furnished and you will have access to everything. The house is located in walking distance to Barkly Square, with so many great cafes and restaurants in Lygon Street and Sydney road. Great access to trams 19, 1, 8 and also the train station. 15 mins bike ride to Melbourne uni and RMIT. The rent is $270 per week (if you are single and $300 if you’re couple) + Bills (gas, electricity and internet) + two weeks bond. Both of us can terminate our agreement by giving the notice of leave one month in advance.
Hi there! I'm looking for a new share house to move into :) I am a 21 year old student studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in Pathology, at the University of Melbourne. I hope to pursue a career in forensic science one day. I have 3 part time jobs; one at a bakery, one at a creperie at unimelb, and I also work as a barista in Emporium. When I'm not studying or working, I like exploring local cafes, restaurants and bars, catching up with friends, cooking and watching various tv shows (true crime docos are my fave). I'm fairly independent but I'm always up for a meal/a few drinks with housemates. I have previous share house experience and I'm very reliable and organised. I always pay rent on time, if not early, and I value cleanliness in the house. I'm hoping to find somewhere closeish to shops so I can ride my bicycle, and not too far from the city so I don't spend too much time on public transport, as I don't drive. I am travelling to India and Nepal in February and so I am looking to find a place to move into when I get back, however my move-in date is flexible. If you have a room available that sounds like what I'm looking for and if you think I'd fit in with your household, please feel free to message me :)

We love cooking, and are happy to occasionally make delicious meals for our flat mates :)
Hi! My name is Janina and I am from Vienna, Austria. I am studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne. I would consider myself easy going and uncomplicated. I like to cook and I have a passion for baking, so one of the perks of living with me might be coming home to freshly baked cupcakes or cookies. :) I would like to live in a place where everyone gets along well, but also respects the others privacy, kind of a - it is great to hang out together at night but it is also cool if we just stay in our rooms sometimes. I have family in Geelong, so I might stay over there some weekends.
My name is Sarah and I am 23 years old. I currently live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne but I'm hoping to find a place closer to the city. I work part time and I like going hiking and riding horses. I am a clean and tidy person and also consider myself to be a pretty decent cook.

I'm a friendly, outgoing, tidy, clean and respectful housemate, I enjoy brunch, tennis, tv series and movies, wine, cooking, traveling, have long walks and good talks. I enjoy sharing dinner and a good conversation as well as doing my own thing at times. Heya! Im looking to move to inner west-side Footscray area within April-May. Open-minded to central Brunswick near Greens cafe but would prefer Footscray as my new stomping ground. Looking to share with two or more people in a spacious bright house. I have alot of personal nik-naks and clothes so would prefer a bigger sized room ideally with a BIR to store all my goodies. A little backyard area where we can chill and even start our own veggie patch would be great too! Bonuses would be: An ensuite, depending on the extra cost of it. A fairly updated bathroom and kitchen would be preferable too! Overall Im searching for a spacious but cosy place that is more on the quirky side (rather than modern apartment) that we can all make our own little home abode. Me Me Me I'm about to start studying Fashion Styling at Brunswick RMIT or possibly mid-year. So will be either studying full time or working fulltime. I'm easygoing and a mix between loud and quiet. I enjoy chilling out with a home cooked meal while watching Girls or Fresh Meat or trashy tv shows like The Bachelor or shows like River Cottage and Donna Hay, all depending on my mood. Also every so often enjoy heading out for some local quality grub and a drink. Definitely keen on being friends and not just roomies however I also need my alone time. I enjoy various things but mostly happy pondering about life and chatting about things like art, fashion, design, food, travel, music, health, wellbeing, politics and the world! I've rented a couple of places in Brunswick and Fawkner and had good experiences with both houses/roomies. Perks of having me as your roomie: I love cooking; mostly healthier/natural options. Im silly and can enjoy a laugh, I like humour such as Ricky Gervais, Girls, Daria, TwentySomething, Seinfeld etc. Im mostly considerate and clean up after myself, ensuring the toilet paper is stocked up, my hair is out of the shower drain and if Im heading to the shops I will ask if you need anything. Holla at me if Im your type of roomie!
I am a 26 year old English teacher. I work full time, and am a clean and considerate housemate. I love to cook, garden and read. I am also into film and music. I like hanging out and sharing a meal or a drink but am quite happy to do my own thing as well. Looking for a relaxed house with likeminded people.
I’m a 26yo Irish apprentice solicitor and father of none. I’m taking a gap year before I become a corporate wage slave back home in September. I was working in Chicago and San Diego for the last 6 months and am now in Melbourne working at a law firm in the CBD. Fun facts about me: 1. I once met Jamie Foxx at a party in The Hamptons and chatted to him for a while (I have pics). 2. The only tv show I’ve ever watched in its entirety is Game of Thrones. I don’t like watching tv generally unless it’s sports, which I absolutely love! Football of all variations, rugby, you name it – I’ll watch it. There’s also an embarrassingly long list of famous movies I’ve never seen but that’s because I much prefer documentaries and I love watching them in the evenings midweek, alone or with roommates. 3. At a sports day, I once set the record for throwing a toy plastic missile-thingy for 23 feet, javelin-style. That moment was clearly, the pinnacle of my existence so far. I’m very easygoing and have never had any problems with roommates. In fact my roommates from the US are travelling from Chicago and Switzerland to visit me in October. I like to go to work and the gym (not always with success) during the week but also like just lounging around the apartment chatting away to people. I definitely enjoy socialising and going out every weekend to meet nice girls. I can play the drums, guitar and bass to a respectable level without excelling in any of them. I speak advanced French and Irish(Gaelic) and basic Spanish. I’m clean but not a Nazi about other people being clean and I don’t freak out if people don’t do their dishes in the morning or whatever. In fact I don’t really stress about much, I’m usually laid back all the time. I also firmly believe that a glass of wine or beer can work wonders after a long day. I’m looking for somewhere for at least two months and would be more than happy to Skype or meet so you can make sure I’m just a normal, chill guy. Please let me know if you think I might be what you’re looking for.
