Hey, I'm Jules! I'm in the market for a new sharehouse to join now that I'm moving to Melbourne from Adelaide. I've been in sharehouses since I was 19 and am a very reliable and respectful houso. I can respect people's space when they need it but I'm also always up for a chat/movie/beer/wine with whoever's around :) A bit about me: - 25 yrs old - I'm currently completing my Masters in Primary Education - I'm very friendly, outgoing, love to socialise, and have a good sense of humour - I love to paint, draw, read, listen to music, and spend as much time outside as I can - I'm pretty active, and love cycling and kickboxing - I'm (very slowly haha) learning to play ukulele and guitar in my spare time - love the beach and going out to gigs If you think you've got a Jules-sized gap in your house that needs filling, drop me a line!
Hey guys! I'm looking to share a place with an awesome, easygoing person not too far from the city and uni. I'm currently doing my Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Melbourne Uni, as well as part time work to make sure I pay the bills on time! In my down time, I enjoy binging shows on Netflix, making the most of our kitchen, and keeping fit and healthy.
We are Slava and Olesia and we've been married for a 2 years. I am 33 and my wife is 30. I am software developer and my wife is accountant. We here to study English in order to improve our career success. We are easy going and always up for a good laugh, chats, beach days and the occasional night out. We both are tidy and clean persons. We'd love to find the nice place and good company for the next 3-4 months.
We have a room in a lovely double brick Californian Bungalow close to the best Brunswick East has to offer with local eateries, CERES and public transport a stones throw away. We are very close to Lygon street and Nicholson street. For bike lovers, there are excellent cycling paths that connect our neighbourhood to the CBD and surrounding areas. The room is almost separated from the main house and you will have a private kitchen facility and separate access to the house. You will also be able to share our laundry facilities. We will be sharing a bathroom. We also have very fast and reliable internet (nbn). It is a large light filled room which is a fully furnished room. It has a large wardrobe (with mirrors), double bed, desk and chair. About us: we are a professional couple working in the finance and insurance industry. We are open and very easy going. We enjoy some socialisation but also need our own space. We are looking for someone similar who is also clean and tidy. The rent is $230 per week which includes all bills. We are looking for a long term renter. Sorry, no pets are allowed. If you are looking for a private place and are interested to inspect the room, please message me. Thanks.
Hi, I'm Mary, I'm an aspiring designer looking to make a living in Melbourne. I love books and quiet morning with green tea and muffins. I am looking for a single room in a sharehouse where I can rest and study in my free time. Naturally, I'm a sweet and harmonious introvert that used to sharing space with many people all my life. I am familiar with the unspoken rules of a shared house. I'm working in Brunswick area so it would be best if you have a room in this area. The move-in date is still negotiable. I'm also interested in teaming up to rent a whole house. Cheers!
I'm a 25 y/o graduate architect working full time in Fitzroy. I like to spend my evenings and weekends out with friends, frequenting art galleries or going hiking! I've been in share houses for the past 6 years so I know the drill. I would prefer to find a home where everyone is independent but would enjoy sharing the occasional dinner or glass of wine after work.

The property is in a very safe area in popular Brunswick East. There are many cafes and shops and bars close by. All bills are included ( gas, water, electricity ) Internet is free
Hi there :-) I'm Sophie, I'm a 30 year old, British, ESL teacher. I've lived in Melbourne for a year now and I love it and i'm staying for at least one more year. I'm a very chilled, easy going person. I consider myself friendly and sociable. I love a G and T in the back garden sunshine but I also enjoy a quiet night in watching Broadcity or what ever else i'm obsessed with at the time. When I can I try to watch live comedy and watch a gig with my mates. I don't crazy party every weekend but I love a good boogy now and then. I'm currently trying to see as much of Australia as I can, so I'm trying to see stuff on weekends and hike where possible. I also cook pretty mean Vietnamese pancakes! I'm looking for a similar vibe. i'd love to live in a mixed house with people mid 20's onwards. I'm very easy going and liberal so happy to live with anyone from any walk of life. Also I love cats and dogs so that's cool too :-)
I'm creative, busy, independent and social. I work full-time making porcelain earrings for a living which I sell at markets. I also work in marketing and sales for a small ceramic homewares company. I am tidy and considerate of personal space. Looking for a place to rest in when I'm not working or out socialising. In my spare time I take contemporary dance classes and see live dance shows. I also love arthouse and mainstream cinema. Im allergic to scented candles and most washing detergent.
Myself and my girlfriend are looking for some long term accommodation to move into in early 2018. Dylan currently works full time in the CBD and I work part-time in Mildura, but I am able to move down with minimal notice. Looking for a place in northern suburbs of Melbourne that is close to a train station that takes less than 30 minutes to get to Southern Cross Station. We like to keep things tidy and we are very sociable, but we do respect others privacy. We enjoy playing video games, board games and listening to music. We both like to cook and enjoy having dinner with others. Please message if you think that we’d make a good fit for you and we can organise a time to catch up. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a super fun and easy-to-get-along-with type of person. Very chill. I'm tidy, clean up after myself and have a beautiful 2y.o cat MC who brings so much love and joy to anywhere, where we live. I work full time and am about to relocate to Melbourne to start my nursing career. I enjoy spending time by myself and with friends. In my spare time I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, going out to gigs, seeing my friends etc. and all of the finer things in life (chocolate, wine, pizza haha)! If I sound like someone you could get along with, holla!
X2 English girls needing a home!! Hellooooo! Me and my sister will be coming back to Melbourne on the 28th of January. I am 24 and she is 20! We are two backpackers on our working visas. I have lived in Melbourne before so I'm very familiar with the place! It would be great if anybody has a private room in the CBD, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Carlton or Chapel Street areas! We are hoping for a private room in a house share or apartment. $150pp is our budget but if you have something cheaper than great, but if it's a little over message either way! We are both very laid back and friendly girls, we love a laugh, and we've been travelling for a while so sharing living space is the norm - we are also very clean and respectful :) Message me if you have anything short / long term for us x
Hey there, I'm a 38yo teacher recently returned from two years working the The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I have a 4yo hound called Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. He's a staffy cross koolie. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach. Netflix is a winter weakness and white beers and G&Ts my summer achilles. Love to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I'm tidy, financially savvy and respectful. Cheers, Katy
I'm a 23 yo Colombian guy. I'm a Pastry Chef and I'm doing my master at Unimelb. I work part-time and I like to spend my free time hanging out with friends, swimming, going to the gym, reading and sharing good laughs. I'm very tidy and responsible, I like to have my own space but also to share with my housemates to have a friendly connivence. I'm a chef and love cooking for someone else.. I guess that's a bonus =)!
We are an easy-going couple trying to get used to Australian culture and settle down in Melbourne . We choose flatsharing because we like to know different cultures and people . We love cooking from different kind of cuisines and share . Also , we are a little bit obsessive about hygiene we love to live with same kind of people who are sensitive about cleanliness. We are very hardworking couple who love spending time both at outside and house environment. See you soon ! :)
Energetic, extrovert, sociable and also clean. Love to share some beers and also have my own privacy. I’m 25 years old, vegetarian (I like cooking), gay, Spanish speaker and sociable.
Hey guys, I'm doing my Diploma for Hospitality at William Angliss Institute at the moment and Im looking for a place to stay after I come back from travelling beginning of February. I am really easy going and lived with a bunch of different people during the last 3 years and I get along with everyone. Most of the time I will be studying and working but I also like to connect socialy , go out, cook together or whatever we feel like.
Two regular, house trained ex-sydneysiders who are looking for a house to call a home with some house-trained peoples who don't just want lodgers to pay the bills but want to hang and share a beer/tea/noodles :) Hi! I'm Lauren (30), originally from Sydney but moved a few months ago. Now Ivan (29) has moved down too and we’re looking for somewhere to move back in together because we figured it would be nice to be reunited…. But with other people for when we get sick of each other. We’re fairly fresh to Melbourne so we’d love to find a place with people who will like to hang occasionally. I like to cook and sew and read and craft. And eat. A lot. And drink wine. I guarantee I will probably overcook regularly and you will probably benefit from it. I tried to yoga for a while, and then I injured myself. I have big ideas about starting some other sports/hobbies but so far they're still in ideas stage.... Now for me...Ivan...this paragraph is dedicated to me. I am not as useful as Lauren. But I know a lot about sport particularly football/soccer. I also do sporting things - I used to play football, but now am injured, and am transitioning to rock climbing, swimming and yoga.... slowly. I also have in the past been convinced to go on bush walks. I follow current affairs as well and watch and talk about tv shows/movies. And I'm into hanging out; going for a meal, coffee or wine. We both work full-time, 9 to 5'ers and go out a bit during the week to catch up with friends so we won't be hanging around like bad smells 24/7. We’d like to find a place with someone(s) who is tidy and respectful but also likes to be sociable (with us!).
I am Danica (mid 30s) old VCA PhD student from Europe. I am kind of a weird mix of intro- and extrovert—like to hang out and to meet new people, but need frequent alone-time moments. Enjoy music, specially old school deep house and techno, and disco. Like to talk about food, to cook and share meal, and enjoy good spirits. Come with a Boston shaker and crepes pan. Probably the most important quality for flatmates is to be open-minded and considerate. I like to live in clean and tidy space (especially kitchen and bathroom), but I am far from being obsessive, so I don't expect others to be any different :)
Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam
Hi! We are Oscar and Loesje, a couple from France and Belgium. Oscar is a professional baseballplayer in France, but into all types of sports and a big music lover. Loesje is into fashion and beauty, books , pop culture and a movie buff. We will be living in Melbourne for a year and traveling around Asia.
I am working full time as an environmental consultant and love to keep myself busy by keeping active and trying new things (current activities include under water rugby and yoga). On my weekend I like to go for walks as an excuse to get unhealthy food at the end, discover dessert bars and head out for cocktails which I can't probably can't afford. Working full time I am often out of the house during the week but would love to move in with other young people who enjoy the odd drink and movie night! I have lived in share houses before so understand the logistics that go into keeping them running and clean! I am low maintenance, tidy, like a clean bathroom and pay my rent on time. What more could you want?!
- Generally tidy and love decorating my space - I work school hours and will likely be out of the house a fair amount with roller derby commitments - I have a male indoor cat named Merlin, he is pretty chill and he's very friendly but not great for people with allergies - I have my own furniture from my current apartment - I am looking for a queer* friendly share house
