Hello, We have a room becoming available in our Brunswick East home sweet home from July 10th. We recently listed a room that we filled, so if you got in contact earlier and are still looking please get in touch again! The house is in the perfect location, sitting between Lygon and Nicholson street (great public transport access), close to loads of cafes and bars, across the road from a park and a few doors down from a delicious bakery/cafe. The house has a big open kitchen/dining room, large separate lounge room, ducted heating, lots of seventies character, a veggie patch, compost, planter boxes, 3 chickens and 2 cats. We have overhanging fruit trees (currently an abundance of mandarins and lemons growing), and friendly neighbourly nonnas with yummy food gifts. The room is a good size, and comfortably fits a queen bed, drawers and robe/rack.
Hi! I’m a 23 year old student doing exchange in melbourne. I’m Studying molecular biomedicine in Denmark. I’m a friendly/outgoing introvert who sometimes like to chat over a beer, board game or a cup of tea. I like to swim, play the piano or generally be outside. I used to live in a dormitory so therefore use to live with other people and more importantly clean up after my self! I like pets so if you have one I’ll love it an pet it as my own. I’m mostly looking for a share house to move into but shared rooms with one other person is also okay.
LOCATION: Perfect location just off Lygon Street, it's a short walk to the 1, 6 and 96 trams and Merri Creek. Close to shops, restaurants and cafes. Plenty of space outdoors for activities and plants, along with a 3 hole mini golf course! Looking for someone long term. ROOM: Medium sized. Comes unfurnished, easily fitting a double bed, desk and wardrobe. We have space in the house if you have more pieces of furniture. The house has been established many years and has all the basics.
Hi! My name is Leah, and my partner and I are starting University in 2020, and are looking for an affordable studio/share house/apartment rental close to Melbourne University. I am studying Musical Theatre and my partner is majoring in Language. We are both very neat and tidy, we are quiet and both will be spending a lot of time at the university and working part-time- so we won't hover. We are able to pay continuously and will be committed to completing the set lease length. We are both from Alice Springs, and we enjoy cooking and video games.
Our Brunswick East home is spacious with big windows letting in lots of natural light. It's only a few years old with a huge kitchen and communal area. The bedroom on offer is really big - easily fits a king size bed, desk, and has a massive built in wardrobe. You'll be sharing the bathroom with Naomi. The location is perfect as we're in an area of lots of young families and we're tucked away from the main roads meaning that our place is really quiet. We're close to public transport (about 30 min by tram into the CBD), parks, shopping centres, cafes, and the fun that Lygon Street and Sydney Road have to offer. A quick note about the bond, it's a little higher than what the website is saying that it is, due to us paying rent per calendar month (it's $850 for the available room) and not per 4 week period.
Hi everyone, my name is Sergio and I am a 35yo Italian guy and I am looking for a single room for August or September. Favourite areas would be Carlton (where I work), Brunswick East, Parkville, Coburg, Abbotsford, Fitzroy and near suburbs. Price max 220 bills included (we can deal a bit, depends on the area). ABOUT ME: - easygoing - respectful - sociable but I also need my space - I have been practicing yoga for 2.5 years and I love it so, housemates that like yoga too would be great - I am NOT looking for a loudly place or party house, house for me must be a shelter where I can relax and recharge myself. - I don't smoke and I drink just sometimes, like sharing a good glass of wine while talking about deep life topics :)! - I like healthy food - I love nature. ABOUT YOU: - you have similar interests so we can easily get along and share similar interests. I will consider all the offers. Thanks to anyone! -Sergio-
Hi, I'm Cat, I'm a 31 year old kiwi who's been in Melbourne since Jan after a 4 year stint in London. I'm an interior designer by trade so really into creative pursuits, wandering galleries, going to gigs etc. I love to cook and socialise over a nice bevie or two. I'm also big into the outdoors, exploring new places and traveling whenever possible. I'm looking for a place a can call home with some lovely flatmates and preferably functioning air-con for those 40 degree days!
Hiya, I currently work in an archive centre (previously I've worked in libraries for many years) part-time and on my days off I usually like to ride my bike around. I'm looking for a short term stay before I set out on my bicycle for the Summer. I'm planning to ride from Canberra to Melbourne in November so I've been training a lot in the gym to to get my strength up. Apart from bike riding I love to chill at home with my cat (Aki, 6 years old) and watch silly shows. I'm mostly a homebody these days, and would love a space that feels like a home.

Strong housemate etiquette. - Happy to hangout with you but also happy not to hangout with you. - Won't steal your food but you can steal mine if you're that hungry 😂.
Ishraj here - aerospace engineer, looking for a private room to rent ASAP. I am a very tidy, friendly and independent person working most of the time. I understand that everyone is busy in their own life and respect that. That being said, I also enjoy spending some time socialising with my housemates once a week or so. If you'd like to know more about me, let's have a quick chat over the phone. Happy to chat here on Flatmates if that suits you better :)
Hi there, I'm Louise. I’m 34 and work full-time in law. In my down time, I enjoy volunteering, travelling, watching arthouse films, going to the theatre, and getting out and about with friends. I’m looking for a home, not just a room in a house, and would like to find a place where I can have a chat with my flatmates after work, where schedules permit, and the odd flat dinner.
