Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
I'm a theatre lover working in Arts Marketing. When not working, you'll find me at the theatre, a bookstore, a gig or gallivanting around Melbourne's restaurants. I travel fairly often.
Hi, my name is Noona 😊 I have moved from Western Australia about 5 months ago for my studies. I'm a full time student studying naturopathy in the city but also work at the cherry tree hotel helping me be very reliable with money and bills etc. I'm 29years old and have travelled the world for 10 years gaining me the experience of good house sharing etiquette. I tend to like my environment clean and fresh with lots of nature and plants about...plus I have a wonderful crystal collection to bring good vibes to the household. I like to believe I bring happiness and light to all those around me and am falways willing to share my alternative therapy (massage, iridology, meditation, and natural medicine) with the household. I also own a beautiful VW kombi van so awesome adventures can be had in that too!! I'm not a massive party animal but enjoy a small shin dig/ BBQ here and there. I'm a big animal lover and like to volunteer/dog sit from time to time so a pet friendly pad would be ideal but I don't have any pets of my own so have my options open. Hopefully I am the house mate you are looking for but if not i hope you find who your looking for 🙏🏼 Thanks so much. Peace and light, Noona
Hey people, I'm looking for a room up to 300$/pw. It should be close to a tram or train station. As I will move out of my current place on 15th April, I need to move in immediately 🙂 About myself: I am very active, like to cook, travel or meet my friends to hang out or a night out. Also, I love to go to the gym or enjoy the amazing weather at the beach. I am very open minded, sociable and easy going. Also very tidy/non smoker. Happy to hear from you! Caro
I'M looking for a fab house/apartment to move into with some chill people. I'd like somewhere sooner rather than later, but am pretty flexible with moving dates. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. I'm not home very much as I like to keep myself busy, but when I am I like to enjoy my space and keep things tidy and clean. I'm not too fussed on anything else. At the moment I'm just working full time in hospo in the city, but will begin studying fashion merchandising at RMIT mid year. Other than that I like to create, make, photograph things when I find the time. I like having a good time and go out and socialise with friends at bars etc. a bit. I'm usually quiet coming home though and don't really bring the party back to the house. I do also enjoy going to festivals and try to go to gigs when I'm not working. Im all about good times and chill vibes so I'm not too keen on unnecessary drama or negativity. I'll give you your space if you want it, but I will also be there to chat/throw banter/chill with. So if you're cool with that then hmu pls xox
I'm going to ACU so I prefer to live close to the tram stop or train station or perhaps can ride bike (less than 20 minutes) to my uni.
Amanda and I are in our mid to late twenties looking for a whole property to lease. We are reliable, clean, hard working women who work full time. Available date is flexible.
My name is Teresa, I am from Germany originally and have been living in Australia since March last year. I`m looking for some lovely people to live with who don`t mind doing things together occasionally as a household, and would enjoy going out for a beer or watching a movie together. That being said I love to have time to myself, watching a movie or reading. So having some alone time is important as well. I`m house trained and have lots of share house experience. I`m Vegetarian (trying to be as vegan as possible), but I don`t wave flags about it. LGBT friendly, pet friendly. I`m big into movies, coffee and art as well as road trips and exploring. Please feel free to contact me!
HEY GUYS! Katie, 18, carpenter. I'm super fun but also enjoy relaxing by myself. I'm the girl with a Jeep Wrangler and loves anything adventurous. I have had to look after myself since 14 so I’m not your typical 18 year-old as I’m extremely independent. I’m more then happy to help out with cooking as I enjoy making yummy food and I clean up after myself. I worked at Grill'd for over a year so i can make the best burgers you'll ever eat! Don't smoke Allergic to cats LOVE DOGS I'm looking for a house with a few people in it that are positive, friendly and would see each other as a friend, not just people who rent rooms in the same house! I'm super happy all the time and just love having a laugh.
Hi, I’m Mathew, 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University. I’m very clean and tidy, respectful of privacy, trustworthy and do my share of the housework along with paying bills on time. I’m friendly, social and always up for a chat. My course is a handful, so I tend to be on the quiet side when at home. I’m looking for a place within 30mins of the city, with a large bedroom for all of my stuff. It must be near public transport. My interests tend towards the geeky side of things, I am very good with computers and can always lend a hand with anyone’s IT troubles. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink. Looking to move around Easter time, preferably earlier. Bond and first months rent ready to go!
Hi, I'm moving to Melbourne soon (beginning of April) from Perth and looking for somewhere cozy to live in. I'm a graduate architect and I have lived my whole australian life of 6 years in Perth. I am originally from Mauritius, i speak french and i like to think I'm an interesting person to hang with. I'm clean, easy to live with, house-trained, & responsible. I love meeting new people, and discovering new cities. I'm excited for this new move and I hope you will be part of my journey.
Hi future housemate 🙂 My name is Surangi. I work full time as a Project Support Officer in International Development Aid for an ASX-listed professional infrastructure and environmental services company and just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work on the 13th. I'm a friendly ambivert who enjoys a quiet night in as well as the occasional big night out. I enjoy going out and meeting new people, trying new ciders (not really a wine connoisseur sorry, but hey more for you right?) and exploring my surroundings. But I also love to just relax at home - read a good book or discover a great new TV show. I am trying to be better about getting to the gym regularly but so far it's been a bit of a fail. I am pretty neat and tidy, and easy to live with. I also happen to make awesome shortbread and deliciously addictive Nutella brownies #justsaying😉 I'm looking to share a place with someone/s in their mid 20s - mid 30s with a similar-ish approach to life. Honest, upfront, friendly and clean. No couples or homes with pets please. Happy to go on the lease. My favourite thing to do in Melbourne is attending the Australian Open. And just walking around and exploring. I think that just about covers it, contact me if you're interested by messaging me here, Surangi 🙃
Gday big Smokey's I'm a single bloke looking to move to Melbourne to hone in on my chef skills and enjoy the fast paced Melbourne lifestyle. I'm over the party life style, but enjoy meeting people without excess party life. I come with 2 well trained and small dogs. Ill be lining up employment before I arrive but being a chef I wont find it hard to gain a full time job. I love AFL, getting lost in the bush, playing poker and I'm not a bad chess player either. Let me know if your keen woop woop
Hey guys! How are you doing? My name is Luis, I'm 26, Venezuelan, civil engineer, living in Melbourne for one year now, at the moment working mon-frid in the construction industry and studying a Diploma in Leadership two nights a week. I'm looking for a place to move in in about 3 weeks and I'm looking for something where I can socialize with the people that I'm living with, more than a place to only go to sleep and eat. This is something really important to me at the moment, I want to make some friends at home more than just live with some people that I'd never see. I'm pretty busy working and studying during the week, but I'd love to share time with the flatmates on the weekends over a meal, a party, some beers, a movie or whatever. I like to travel, hangout on weekends with the flatmates, enjoy a beer at home or whatever you plan. I'm open minded, always up to have a chat with the people that I'm living, easy going, clean and ordered (I like the places where everyone give a hand with the cleaning and housekeeping to keep the place clean and ordered as a home instead of a crazy dirty house). If I sound the kind of person you are looking for please send me a message or even if you'd like to know a bit more about me!

Hi! I am a super easy going student currently looking for a new place. I am very independent and pretty busy with study, two part-time jobs, and an internship at a Fitzroy gallery, but I'm also very social and love to hang out when I am free. I am studying art history and ancient history, and in my spare time I like to visit galleries, read, swim, and see live music with my friends. I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for four years now. I am clean, conscientious and would be a very chill housemate.
I am a bright and charismatic 25 year old, self employed, music and movie nerd. Obsessed for David Bowie, The Cure, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I love gigs, being surrounded by humble and creative people, reading and watching documentaries, drawing favourite movie characters and movies, playing music, exercising, meeting new people and hanging out at bars and pubs during where there is good music. I am very clean, always clean up after myself and contribute to household items and chores, drama free, chilled out and always engaging into household chill out times and activities whether it be a dinner and wine etc Ready to move out as soon as possible :) Please contact me if you are interested in getting to know me and think I'd be a great fit to your household :)

Hi! One nicely-sized room available in a big, airy, sun-shiny apartment with a long deck and a super-nice awesome view looking north!!! The room is unfurnished - BUT at least it comes with your own private bathroom, double wardrobe, and private car-parking space 😉 😉 😉 😉 You’ll also have access to the complex’s gym, yoga room, indoor lap pool, spa (!!!) sauna and steam rooms, as well as access to the huge rooftop / garden-lounge area which has THE best view of the CBD anywhere (I have pictures), as well as more spas (!!!), BBQs, an outdoor cinema and a golf putting green (!!!) (!!!) The apartment is almost new – you’ll be the second person to have ever lived in the bedroom. The place is close to EVERYTHING = 2 mins walk from Nicholson Street and the 96 tram, and 5 minute walk the other way to Lygon Street, and then another 10 to Sydney Road and Barkly Square. You’ll be a 15 tram ride away from the city, and a short walk away from Fitzroy North, Carlton North, Eddy Gardens etc etc etc. It’s an awesome location. The apartment is furnished with all the usuals, but if you’ve got more stuff, feel free to bring it! The move in date is up in the air at this point, but will definitely be between 2 weeks and a month from now –whatever suits you between then, really! The place is $1,173 pcm ($270 a week) + bills, and $1,350 bond all up. (You’ll need to go down on the lease too.) P.S. These are old pictures, but more will be up in the next few days.
