Fun and loving German girl, who has been living in Melbourne for over 6 years now. Looking for a warm, homey and creative space to live in and hopefully connect with some open and like minded people. I spend majority of my time working as a bartender or studying at Melbourne uni. In my free time I love to go on road trips or get creative at home, in the garden or in the kitchen. I'm always down for a glass of wine and good chats:)
Hi, originally from Denmark but based in Berlin since 2004. I've worked some years in higher education, and am now doing a PhD. My project examines feedback in online learning. I'm in Melbourne for a 3 month stay as a visiting scholar at a local uni. In Berlin I'm mostly living a big city life, so I'm happy to have a few months here in beautiful Melbourne where the city is more easily combined with outdoor activities and wholesome fun. I enjoy bouldering, hiking, swimming, jogging, and most often I go to bed early to get an early start. I'm primarily searching for a room in CBD, Fitzroy/Collingwood or Brunswick. My Office is in the CBD, and I work normal office hours. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds, and with interests that are different from my own. I'll be in Melbourne until 1 April.

There are plenty of bathrooms...no waiting The property is real close to public transport and its about 15 - 20 minutes to University of Melbourne The property is in a very safe area in popular Brunswick East. Originally from the UK and have spent the last 3 years living and working in Austria. I've moved to Melbourne on a 4 year sponsored visa to start work in the Australian subsidary of my current company as a Project Manager. I'm pretty well-travelled and will be coming from shared accomodation (5 people), so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate! An outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc. I'm also keen on my music and would love to meet people to head to some gigs with; officially a pubs-over-clubs kinda guy (these days!) and always keen to improve my cooking skills (obligatory glass of wine/cold beer during preparation!) Weeknights are admittedly quite low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet sociable housemates keen to enjoy the occasional meal together etc. If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
So a bit about me; I'm 24, and currently between studies. I finished a bachelor of arts a few of years ago and have been doing odd stuff since then, but am planning on beginning a masters of architecture next year. I am interested in all sorts of things (sometimes too many)...such as permaculture, cooking, all sorts of music, doing various art/craft-like things such as gardening, reading and writing, and bike riding....etc. I'm looking for a communal kind of home that likes to cook and do stuff... Currently I'm working casually as a receptionist at a Physiotherapy but am looking for some other casual/part-time work.
Hi! My name is Laura and I'm from Barcelona. I've been living in Melbourne for about 4 months. I'm a very easygoing person and I'd love to make any kind of plans with my housemates. I love music festivals and travelling. I'm looking to meet young, fun and open-minded people to live with :) I'm also very clean and I love cooking!
Masters mechatronics engineering student at uniMelb. I'm a Big fan of sports, enjoy working out, a FIFA legend. I believe I'm a friendly person in general. I'm neat and like to tidy up things especially areas I share with others. Usually at uni most times during the semesters.
Great location on a leafy street, opposite a park and close to Lygon St and Nicholson St trams. The house is spacious and homely with separate living dining and outdoor areas. All the main rooms (including bedrooms) have reverse cycle AC/heating. The available bedroom has a lot of natural light and 2 large built in robes. It currently has a queen bed, bedside table and coffee table (can be removed if preferred) and there is plenty of room for a couch or desk. You'd be sharing a large bathroom with one other person.
I am a dance maker/performer/teacher who also works in the disability arts sector, studying at RMIT. I’m clean, respectful, easy going, happy to hang out/share a meal/do cute house stuff (or not - whatever the vibe is! Haha) can efficiently adult when it comes to bills/rent/keeping the house presentable etc. :)
My names Jenna and I'm a 21 year old gal moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast in early 2019. I've landed a job as a registered nurse and looking for a place to live! I'm a pretty easy going person who enjoys being active and travelling. I don't have any pets of my own however I am a huge animal lover. Although I enjoy socialising, I like having a homely space to be a tidy and peaceful place and I'm very respectful towards others and their belongings, and understand the need for personal space. Most of my week nights are pretty low key. Of a weekend I'm mostly out and about with friends, adventuring in mother nature or enjoying a cheeky beverage or two at a local bar. I'm just chasing a place with some mellow vibes and good people :)
I'm a down to earth Irishman looking for a friendly place to call home for the next few months. I have lived in several share houses around the world without any complaints (ok one complaint about dishes but I swear I have changed :). I like to relax on my days off and am a very good pub buddy but my best attribute is my cooking. I share where I can and I'm respectful of other people's stuff. I don't get up to many physical activities but I'm really easy to talk into joining in. Also keen to join a cricket club here.
Hi guys, I'm Nayab but my friends usually call me Dexter! :) I'm currently associated with a manufacturing company as a Electrical Engineer.. pretty hectic schedule during weekdays... full-time work, then training in evenings.. or odd dinner out with mates but weekends is the time to unwind! And I do so by checking out new brunch spots, long drives out of town or going out to check out any gigs happening nearby :) I'm originally from Asia but moved permanently to Melbs roughly 1 year ago so exploring this awesome city is what I like the most! ;) I have lived in shared houses before so I know the drill of being clean, tidy, friendly and at the same time respectful of other's privacy.. Not a fan of 'disjointed' housemates so would prefer a little social roomie.. Hit me Up!! :)
I'm a Finnish male from; Helsinki, moving Down Under, to work as a carpenter in Brunswick East. My journey begins: 1st of November, in the gorgeous city of; Melbourne! - Easy going, approachable, reliable, friendly, outgoing, good sense of humour, respectful, handyman around the house, coffee lover, music enthusiast, snowboarder, and just a great bloke. I've lived in: New York, London, around Europe, India, Nepal and travelled extensively around the world. Whilst living abroad, I've lived with many people and have a great rapport amongst all past house mates. I'm happy to live among people from all walks of life.
Hi, my name is Tristan. I'm a full-time arts undergrad at Melbourne. It's not natural for me to advertise myself like this. But if I have to: I would say I'm hygiene-conscious, semi-sociable and pretty organised. I enjoy meeting new people, learning, dissecting art, the opera, music and laughing with humans. I thrive on open-mindedness. :) I have to say, I'm not looking for anything in particular as I prefer to keep my options open, it would be great to have a clean, safe and supportive environment to be in.
Tom and I are a couple of English guys, just arrived in Melbourne and would love to find a nice house to settle in for the next few months while we work in the city. We’re clean and friendly, respectful of privacy and love our downtime but at the same time we love a laugh and would never say no to a drink or house night! Used to living with both guys and girls so either is great
Hey, Ana (28 from Madrid, Spain) and myself Ashley (24 from the Gold Coast, QLD) are in search for a new home. We have just arrived to Melbourne, I am currently working part time in Collingwood whilst in search for an Apprenticeship as an electrician. Ana has studied Psychology and she is currently on a working holiday visa. We're clean, tidy and respectful. Generally quiet through the week and we like to explore on the weekends. Our move in date is as soon as possible. Let us know if we'd be suitable for your home. Thanks (:
I have been living in share-houses since university, and genuinely enjoy the experience. I'm a pretty chill and flexible flatmate - not fussed by much. i would consider myself to be: open, flexible, communicative, friendly, social - but also desire (and respective of peoples) individual space. I'm not partying mid week much these days (or even weekends if i'm honest) .... but definitely love a nice glass of wine or two after work, or in the sun ... I'm looking for a share house (not a huge fan of apartments) with at least 3 rooms/flatmates (myself included). I've just moved to Melbourne (the most recent city i've been living in is Sydney) - so still finding my way through the Melbourne scene (but definitely much prefer it over sydney so far).
Noah and myself are looking for a joint! Flexible with move in date but anytime from now onwards works :) We've both lived in share houses for years so know the ins and outs - are clean and respectful but appreciate a 'lived - in' space. We are both vegetarian so would love a veggo/vegan home but don't care if there is meat about either. We're both pretty keen cooks and we are always happy to share our meals with the house! We've both been on several leases respectively and have never made a single late payment - and I'm a queen of organisation so late payments for any bills are never a problem. Noah works as a Bartender and is starting a bachelors degree next year. He's possibly the most chill person you'll ever meet and he's a real laugh. He moved to Melb from London this year and is originally from NZ so he can give you plenty of travel tips. I work in the music industry so my schedule can be all over the place (but that means perks like free ticket to gigs for you ;)) - I'm super easy going and a social creature so out of the house a lot too - but love nothing better than a tea and 10 hours of netflix on occasion too. I also work nights at Northcote Social Club. We are flexible on rent cost - but obviously cheaper the better - ideally wanting somewhere with a backyard and if you have a dog we would be CHUFFED to help ya keep it loved up and walked. We have a bunch of furniture if need (including fridge, washing machine and dryer!!!!) but this can be stored also.We also come with about 50000 indoor plants and are keen to do some veggie patching so if we sound like your cup of tea plsssss give us a message.
Hi there! Bailey and Ausli are looking for a room (or perhaps two in the same flat). We're Americans fresh from New York, artists working in casual retail/hospo positions at the moment. We're hoping to move into a place before the end of the year. Feel free to message us. Thanks!
My name is Jade and I grew up at an international school in Singapore, with South African, American, Australia and Chinese cultural backgrounds. I am starting my Masters of Teaching (Primary) at Melbourne University next year and will get a job in childcare while I study. I'm moving from Sydney in Janurary where I just finished my undergraduate at Sydney University. I enjoy playing basketball/running, listening to music, reading, playing boardgames, having a drink with friends. Would consider myself a clean, tidy, organised and considerate flatmate. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
Hi, I'm Giuliana, looking for a longer-term place to call home in a sharehouse with another 2 or more people. About me: During the week I work 8.30-5, 4 days per week at a university library, and spend 2-3 nights a week at yoga. Aside from yoga, I love hiking, camping and nature connection, travel, cooking (and eating!), motorbike riding, spending quality time with friends and family, veggie and herb gardening; so would love a place with a decent sized backyard with a veggie garden, or the space for one as well as for composting; all the better if there are housemates who'd like to share in this as it's more fun that way, plus I have a lot more to learn! Who I am and what I’m seeking: I'm a thoughtful, open-minded, respectful, grounded, tidy, sustainability-focused person looking to share with other gentle, caring people with similar values; and amongst all of that, a sense of playfulness and sharing a healthy dose of humour is most welcome. I'm looking for a longer-term share house (which is why I’ve written so much!) so it's important to me to find a place with people where we can create a healthy household dynamic; which can only really come through clarity in communication. While this can be difficult at times and we’re all learning, it’s super important for me and the people I share with to be willing to try to communicate openly, gently, respectfully and with authenticity to the best of our abilities. I have a fulfilling social life, however I'd really like to live with others who are more than just people I live in the same house with; I'd like to share communal meals and chats regularly. However I also need alone time, and am respectful of other people’s need for that also. I'm currently used to preparing my own meals and composting, but am very open and welcoming to communal living and food sharing. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I rarely eat meat and I've happily lived with vegans and vegetarians before. About the house: In terms of the house itself, some things I’d really like (though not essential, unless there’s none of them) are: - Gas stove top (for cooking! Electric or induction are a bit limiting) - Undercover parking for my motorbike (I have a cover for it, but much easier to just park under something) - A backyard that gets some sunlight and has, or has space to grow herbs and veggies (even if it’s just concrete that you can put plant pots on) - An older house with character, with larger rooms and more natural light (I’m not a big fan of those townhouses going up all over the place) - I’m particularly interested in moving to Thornbury, Preston, Fairfield, Northcote, North Fitzroy (not necessarily in that order), but surrounding suburbs like Ivanhoe, Alphington, Brunswick East and Coburg may also be suitable. I have a mish-mash of furniture including a fridge (oldish), and a washing machine (newish). I'm willing to shed what's not needed though as most of it I've collected along the way from family and friends. I have some lovely indoor plants which I'd love to share with my new housemates as some of them are little big for the bedroom! I don’t have a particular date I need to be out of my current place by, but I’d ideally like to have at least 2-3 weeks notice so my existing housemate has a chance to find a new sharer also. Would love to hear from you if you think I'd suit your share home.
G'day, After 4 great years in Kew our lease has ended and I'm looking for a new fun, clean and respectable share house. I'm pretty active and out and about a lot, but value having a great place to come back to where we can have a beer and laugh. Spend a lot of time camping, mountain biking and surfing. Others are always welcome to join! Work full time in the city as an enviro engineer too.
