I'm a 29 year old engineering professional with a passion for fitness and the outdoors. I'm usually not home much on weekdays, as I work long hours then go to the gym. On weekends I like to relax and socialize, or maybe get out of the city. I prefer a clean modern and simple house. Must have off street parking
Hi All, My name is Shaun and i've just come back from my last adventure overseas. I've decided to pack up my stuff and move to a new state and see what Brisbane has to offer. Firstly don't be scared by the fact I'm unemployed as I've quit my job to move. I'm extremely motivated and won't take long to find a job. And on top of that I have savings so I won't struggle to pay the rent in the meantime. My first profession is a qualified chef and the second being a thermit welder in the rail industry. Travel is my biggest passion having been to 5 continents and 37 countries so far. I love everything outdoors from hiking, camping, road cycling, running and so much more. Ideally I'd like my budget to be an all in price but always flexible for the right place and right housemates. As I'm driving up from Tasmania I'll have my car. So a place with Parking available is a big thing I need. If you feel like i could be your next friend and flat mate i look forward to hearing from you :)
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Full time employed. Non-smoker. Financially stable. During my free time I enjoy rock-climbing, bushwalking, yoga and photography. I'm looking for and unfurnished bedroom that offers access to it's own bathroom. I'm interested in sharing with a person who appreciates mutual respect and keeps the place clean and tidy. No smoking. No pets.
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I haven't found a job in Brisbane yet but am currently looking for bar, cafe, nanny or Childcare work. I also do a bit of part time modelling for Tamblyns. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.
hey im aidan i work full time mon-friday, I'm pretty quiet during the week and during the weekends I like to get out & about. Looking for social easy going people who are respectful and clean, some where i can call home preferably with air-con. Im fairly active social and polite, into my sport, music and art and would love if you had a dog to!
I'm caring and super considerate. I keep to myself, enjoy my own company. I work in a busy café so when I get home I don't like to mingle much. I'm vegan and very clean and tidy. A lot of the time I'm not home because I'm out on nature adventures and exploring over the weekend.
I'm a registered nurse. Tidy, quiet and friendly. I work shift work so I'll need the house to be quiet during the day so I can sleep for night shift about 3 times a month. Always happy to hang out and have a chat, but I'm respectful of boundaries. I would also require room mates to be 420 friendly.
Hi I'm Nicole! I work as a leading hair stylist for my best friends thriving growing salon. I'm a busy, enthusiastic and outgoing person with a beautiful big rottie named King. I walk him and excercise daily and love a bit of piece and quiet in the evenings. I am social on weekends but work and my dog is a priority. He is house trained and a pleasure to have around the home. He will become you best bud! I am looking for a room in a share house preferably with my own bathroom. I am tidy and will always clean up after myself so hit me up if we could be suitable for your place!
I'm extremely clean and tidy so I'm looking for a housemate/housemates that love coming back to a clean home to unwind. Private and not interested in late nights, drinking and partying. Keen traveller, enjoy nature, yoga practitioner, environmentally conscious individual, animal lover. ( I absolutely adore my three cats) Moving to Brisbane for work. I will be a contracted working professional, a veterinarian to be precise so cats are trained and will be clean and cared for.
I am a Structural and Mechanical Engineer and now study full time Nursing/Paramedic. I am quiet and committed to my study. I am social and enjoy an occasional drink and chat, also fitness oriented. I am clean and house proud and like to live a clean environment. I enjoy movies and hiking and work part time. I do have my own bedroom furniture and also a large LG double door fridge and 65" Tv which I would sell if it cannot be accommodated at my new place.
I am currently working full time as a jeweller, I'm looking to move a bit closer to my job in Muarrarie. I'm pretty quiet and I'm not home a lot of the time. Equally happy hanging out having a chat or enjoying my own company. I'm very respectful and clean. I do have a little parrot named Calvin, he is able to live outside and doesn't make a huge amount of noise. When I get some spare time I am usually either gardening or heading to the beach. I am looking for a house with a garage or some space where I can set up my workbench where I make jewellery.
Hey there, I'm relocating to Brisbane at the start of November for work and will need a place to stay. I will be a bit of a ghost throughout the working weeks as the office demands long hours, but am looking for a relaxed place to stay - preferrably partial to a drink or two on the weekends. My work will be in Morningside so ideally looking within 10min drive from there.
Gorgeously Tranquil Queenslander Beautifully furnished home with wide breezy verandahs ,space to breathe,a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of life. 5 mins to the famous Oxford St, ferry and parks. Creative,Happy,Healthy,Clean,Vegetarian, household.
I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
Hey there. I'm a 31 year old Queenslander looking for a new place. I'm looking to move in with a friendly girl who has their own life but likes to hang out together as well on occasion, and share a glass of wine after a long work day! I don't smoke (ever) and am ridiculously neat and tidy! I work full time in Newstead in recruitment. Have lived in share houses before so I know the drill. Hope to hear from you, Lauren.
I am extremely tidy, considerate of other flatmates and I pay my bills on time. I work full time and spend most evenings and weekends at the gym or at the dog park with my pup. Looking for a nice house close to the city or teaming up with others.
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are about to come back to Australia (on November 17) and we are looking for somewhere awesome!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us. We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is an outside dog and prefers to stay outside as she is a rescue dog. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; so if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla

I like to go to the gym and eat healthy foods and whip up my green juices. With that being said, I also love to eat out and try new foods. I am not a party animal by any means, but sometimes would like to have friends over for wine & cheese etc and I do enjoy going out to a nice bar for a few drinks. I work in the Events industry Mon-Fri and sometimes the odd weekend. I would totally respect your space and I am very clean and Tidy! I'm pretty busy most weekends catching up with friends and family and love to get out and about. Can't say I'm every really home too much on weekends. I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Imagine waking up to the sweet sounds of Bulimba in the morning, taking a short stroll over to Oxford Street (50 steps), grabbing a coffee from your favourite cafe, then, jumping onto the ferry (500 steps away) to start your magical day. This could become a sweet reality for you, next week. I've got the keys to an apartment right near the rotary (Hawthorne Rd/Oxford Street/Shell service station/etc.). The apartment is brand new, and you only have to walk up one flight of stairs, or if you're super laze, jump in the lift. The bedroom on offer isn't huge (probably not fit for many activities - 3.1m x 3.1m), but the apartment has a large open living, dining and kitchen. It also has a pretty big balcony, with incredible views of Hawthorne Road, nevertheless, perfect for a cheeky glass of vino. Bills are in addition to the rent. Bond is the standard 4 weeks and the standard 2 weeks upfront rent is required ($1080). If this sounds good, feel free to send me a message, to find out a little more about the place.
