I am a fun loving and easy to get along. Moving to Melbourne in January on a PR Visa and hence will be looking to make new friends who can help me ease into the whole Aussie culture and help me grow into my new life. I don't booze or smoke and the kinda person who believes in minding his own business.
Vanessa-Mae, 24, Full-Time | PR & Marketing manager for Fuel your Facility, full-time. A little about me, well, I'm easy going, eco-conscious, and always up for a laugh and place myself in the 'is a good human' category. Ideally looking for a home that is all about keeping up the good vibes — not just a house w/ strangers living under the one roof, I'm respectful of personal space, things and down with even contribution to the household. I'm not home all too much as I am on the go quite a lot with work, but when I am, I'm so happy to kick back with the rest of the roomies or just kick back in my room. I have; couch/sofa, washing machine, TV and entire bedroom, I don't have a car but I do have a wine fridge which I am so down with sharing the shelf space! Send me a message if you think this could work! PS. I am definitely not okay with sharing a bedroom. soz Cheers, Vanessa
Hey future housemates! I'm a bubbly 23 year old who loves to chillout and cook. I work full time 9-5 in the city at a bank, and I am looking for a share house with a great location surrounded by exciting people! I'm from Sweden originally, but i've been in Australia for 8 years now and staying forever (the weather here is just too good). I love my weekends, and I am always up for a spontaneous beer or brunch! I love exploring Melbourne's quirky nightlife, going to the footy and hanging with my buddies. I'm looking in the Richmond/Burnley/Collingwood area preferably, but open to other locations too. Get in touch if you think that I would be a great fit for your sharehouse!
Hey guys, We are two students looking for an apartment close to the city. 20 and 19 years old, we both work at a bar in the city. We are also able to pay cash in hand per month.
*Looking for FEMALES only 🙋🏼 Hey I'm Olivia, A 22 year old female who moved to Melbourne about 4 years ago to pursue football (soccer). I consider myself an approachable and friendly pseron with a strong sport/fitness background. So I would love a housemate or two that shares that passion as well. If not, that's totally fine as I am quite the girl outside of soccer, as I work in retail when I'm not studying my butt off. When I'm not studying or at the gym/soccer I pretty much doing nothing other than have a wine at home, attempt to cook or watch Netflix. So I really am after a partner in crime to explore Melbourne with on their days off. House wise obviously I'm more than happy to put in with chores etc. But I'm after a place that's sociable together and not someone who is going to blow my ears out with music and parties every weekend. HAHA 😂 I also better throw in here that I do have a cat! She has lived indoors her entire life and actually has a letter of recommendation from a past landlord, so she won't be an issue securing a place. Enough rambling, just ask if you wanna know more! 😊
Hi there! I'm Erica, I'm a pretty easygoing and respectful housemate who is looking for a place in Burnley. I'm social, but equally in need of downtime. Not looking to bring the party home, but generally up for a cheeky vino. Relatively active, I'm keen on Pilates, tennis & swimming... then undoing all that good work with a good feed, either cooking at home or checking out new restaurants. Looking for a clean, mature, fun housemate. Cheers!
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
Hi~~! I'm Jerry from south korea. I'm a university student in korea. and came here just this week! I found melbourne is really good city to live. I'm happy to be here. these days I'm looking for a job and also house. I'm very friendly and polite also happy to make new friends. I want to live nearby the city. If you have proper house to provide please don't hesitate to contact me !! Thank you :) Cheers!
I'm an international student at Holmesglen, Glen Waverley. I'm working toward my degree in Early Childhood Teaching. I'm very quiet, always clean up after myself, keep the common area tidy and prefer spending most of my time in my own room. But I am very considerate, friendly and respectful. I love reading, binge watching something from time to time, and travel somewhere as soon as I save up enough money. I've stayed in a shared house for a year now in Melbourne, so I know how to respect everyone's privacy and personal space. I'm looking for a place that is near Holmesglen or close to train/bus stop, about less than half an hour commuting from the place to Holmesglen and 10 mins for groceries. I prefer a private room, quiet, bright and clean. I'd love a room with lots of natural light, big and clean window very much. If your place also has a front and/or yard or a balcony just so I can sit outside, read books, breath fresh air and bathe in some sunshine, I'd be very glad. If you think I'm suitable to be your housemate, please let me know with a message through Flatmates or my email. I'm currently in Vietnam so you can't reach me through my Australian mobile phone number, I'm sorry about that. Thank you and have a great day!
Hey! I’m a newly graduate IT student looking for a shared house to call my home for around 6 months somewhere in Melbourne (preferably in the South Yarra or Richmond areas). Moving out of home for the first time from Geelong where I’ll be working full time for a large software company close to Richmond. Message me if you’d like to know more..
Fully house trained and fully housemate trained! Won't eat your stuff, will clean my stuff up and doesn’t sweat the small stuff! I'm Lynsey, British, working at a Health Centre in Richmond and looking for like-minded people to live with. I don’t take myself too seriously and have a go-to store of bad jokes – Went on a date with a dolphin... we just clicked – but I’m a Literature grad and have worked in publishing in London for the past few years so can match you in pretentious conversations if you so wish (would prefer it if you didn’t!). I’m far too old to live in a party house and am just looking for a chilled out, clean home, with friendly housemates to chat, cook and make the most of Melbourne with. I’m easy going and easy to get along with, tidy and respectful of other people’s space. My pub quiz specialist topics would be pop culture, 80’s films and indie music and I’m willing to pretend to have an interest in sport for the right house! If it sounds like I could be a good fit for your place, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
My name is Elle, 27yo and work full time in the city at a law firm. I'm easy going, clean and tidy and prompt with payment of bills and rent. I enjoy socialising and am generally catching up with friends on the weekends and like to keep things pretty chilled out during the week. I play netball once a week, and enjoy checking out new restaurants or bars in Richmond. Would be interested in sharing the occasional drinks or dinner with housemate/s. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hey guys! My name is Rishi, Im 21 year old uni graduate and a full time barista. Obviously have a passion for coffee, love a good chat and a good stroll in a park and laying down in the sun. Ride a bicycle, cook a fair bit for everyone and work a lot too. Looking for relaxed people with their own life, who are easy going but also enjoy a chat and a beer every once in a while. You dont have to be best friends, but you need to be friendly enough to enjoy living with. Super clean, super responsible and I can talk hours with you if I get comfy. Also love music, but obviously not on odd hours. Holla at me if you want me to come say hello. Also I love dogs and animals in general, thought I should mention!
I am sociable and also tidy. Around the week I just got college or office and after I come back either I will be tired or studying but in the weekend either I will go for a party or bar crawling. Can pay the rent on time. Cheers
My current lease finishes at the end of this year and I'm looking to move sometime in January or February. Next year I will be going into my 4th (managed to stretch 2 years into 3) and hopefully final year of my bachelor of commerce at Monash (Clayton Campus). Currently I am working two jobs (St Kilda and various CBD locations). At present I'm living in Ormond but am ideally looking to move somewhere a bit closer to the city and that will cut a bit of time off my commute to work or uni. My ideal area is Richmond/Burnley/Cremorne, but I'm pretty flexible on that. Quite happy to trade off location (to an extent) to find somewhere that's better value for money. Primarily I am looking to team up with 1 or 2 people rather than join an existing place. I have quite a bit of furniture so moving into an already furnished place would be a bit of a hassle with regards to storing that. What am I like to live with? I'm a bit of a neat freak so only interested in sharing with people who like things very clean and tidy (Don't mind raising my standards, but I struggle to lower them). In general I'm fairly quite and keep to myself. If we get along well I'm happy to hang out sometimes, but that's not a requirement. With regards to the kind of property I am aiming for, I tend to prefer apartments over houses. A reasonably modern kitchen and is also a big plus. That one firm requirement that I have is that it is warm and for dry during the winter (admittedly a little difficult to tell during the middle of summer). Feel free to send me a message if you would like to team up or have a suitable room.
Hey! I'm a 27 year old professional (scientist) looking for a place in the Richmond/Hawthorn area - either by joining an established place or teaming up with people/s. Lover of brunch, good chai/iced coffee, AFL (swans), netflix, road trips, netball and other such things. I'm originally from Tassie but been in melb 4 or so years now. I work full time shift work which includes stints of night shifts and weekend work. Prefer to head out with friends for dinner/drinks on my days off rather than partying it up these days. Love a good bbq, picnic or sunday sesh though. Looking for similar people who are working full time (bonus if it's shift work), clean and tidy in shared areas and respectful of peoples space/things/work schedules...the usual things you want in a housemate. Happy to share a meal/drink or generally just hang out but also happy to do my own thing. I have a car so would be looking at finding a place with off street parking of some kind.
Hey folks, I identify as a tidy, bill-punctual, chill, tall and versatile guy. I work in government by day, and by night and on weekends I am a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for vino, party games, gigs, intermediate food prep, table tennis, shit jokes, boozy rants with political or philosophical flavourings, and just letting the juice of life drip down my chin. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner northeast-ish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. Big (4-7 people), sympatico, gender balanced share-households with semi-communal vibes and good people who aren't /too/ normal are all long-standing preferences. I am a nonsmoker and an omnivore, but am pretty comfortable living with people of other persuasions. Pets are a life goal. I'm currently looking for two or three other people who are enthusiastic about the same things, and can fill out applications and attend the occasional inspection within reasonably tight timeframes. I'm currently in an open-ended arrangement with fam in Northcote so am super flexible with moving dates, and can take the lead with house hunting gruntwork if need be. If you're interested in a team-up, or if you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate - flick me a message. Please, no roomshare, tiny-house or tiny-flat offers. Thank
It's in an excellent location:- 10 min train ride into the city, a short walk to the river, parks, cafes, pubs and restaurants. RENT: $885/month, including internet and utility bills. BOND: 1 month rent as Bond, and at least 2 weeks Rent upfront (normally paid monthly, on the 1st of every month). TERM: Negotiable. Short and long-term applicants will be considered... Email me and let's talk!
Light soaked room with a North-facing window available in Burnley from mid-December! Well fitted out with deep-set built-in robes for all your copious storage needs, plus ample space for a Queen bed and with plenty of space left over for activities. Rent is $824 PCM and Bond is $1053. We're on a month to month lease, with a good relationship with the real estate/landlord. Long term stay preferred, and going on the lease is required. Guys, this place is a gem. My shaky smartphone photography skills can't do it justice for the space (which is on the larger side for this area), but the location speaks for itself. 3 minutes walk from the front door to Burnley Station, 5 minutes walk to the Burnley Street/Swan Street tram stop on the 70 tram line, 15 minutes walk to Richmond Station if you're that way inclined, 10 minutes walk to Coles, 2 minutes to the nearest cafe, 5 minutes to the nearest pub and 4 minutes to the nearest park. There are a ridiculous amount of options out here. If you're not a PT queen like me, we've got a car spot that's all yours. I'm also told the Burnley entrance to Citylink is a mere 5 minutes away. The room is unfurnished, and the apartment is partially furnished. When my housemate (sadly) moves out so do the washing machine and the couches/tv. If you're bringing those along/open to supply them (or a fridge) that's an added/appreciated bonus, but not essential as I'm open to supplying them. Ideally the move in date is the 15th, however we're flexible on that and it can be moved forward or backward for the right person.
After three years of living with one of my best friends, her sister is moving into my room. So it's time for me to find a new home. I work full-time in media relations and was born and raised in country Victoria. I may be young, but I certainly don't live like a stereotypical 22 year old. My job is demanding so I work hard during the week but always happy to go out and have a few vinos over the weekend. I bring a lot to the roommate table. I'm clean, I love to cook (and love to cook for other people), I'm really social and easy going. The only real negative of having me as a roommate is that I have been known to sing Usher songs in the shower. I'm lucky enough to have until February to move out. If I find the right place between November and Feb I'm happy to move in at once. (BONUS: I also come with an optional extra - an incredibly comfortable King Living couch if you're looking for a top quality sofa in addition to a top quality roommate :P)

Mini Tan sausage dog, fully furnished house already owned with library. Love books, and quiet. Job involves interstate travel.
I am a female entrepreneur currently taking a sabbatical from work to focus on health and wellness. Ideally looking for a vegan or vegetarian household to live in. I am non-smoking, non-drinking but always smiling :) Prefer friendly, social, communicative and relaxed households with shared duties for keeping the home clean. I love people but also need company that knows when to give some space. The area where I am looking in is flexible as long as it's within a comfortable travel distance to Melbourne CBD, I love the leafy relaxed feel Surrey Hills (especially anything around nature). Thank you for considering having me in your home!
Early-mid 20s, work for a music venue in Fitzroy + a bottle-shop in Abbotsford. Travelling USA from 20 Dec 2016 to 24 Jan 2017, looking for a place for when I return!
I'm studying my masters of Environment at Melbourne Uni, not a huge partier but love the occasional beer/wine/shots. I'm respectful of peoples personal space and time. I enjoy cooking and keeping the communal areas clean. Always up for a good chat and housemate hang. I was born and raised in Hamilton VIC and moved here for uni in 2013. I gym, watch movies, catch up with friends and hike/ adventure in my free time! I don't smoke or do drugs but have no issue with either as long as it's not inside or getting out of hand. Love travel, music and discussing social issues!
Hey potential future housemates, I'm Monica, a 27 year old osteopath looking to move closer to work (middle park & cbd). When I'm not working, I'm usually out attempting to keep fit, catching up with friends, cooking a feast or doing something random. I've lived in a share house for a while so I'm clean, considerate, pay rent and bills on time etc. I'm looking for a social share house with people I can have a laugh with and share a drink/meal occasionally. As I'm already living in an amazing house (just too far away) & I don't have to be out of my house by any date somy move in date in negotiable. Happy housemate hunting
I'm an engineer working in the energy efficiency field, my office is in Ringwood and I am there 8:30-6ish Mon-Fri, I do a bit of travel for work too. Also studying a GradCert in project management. I love good food and wine and I am a pretty good cook (I make a mean pulled chicken chilli). Love hitting the gym, and when I am organised will generally go 3 or so nights a week. I can range between being super #cleaneating gym nut to pizza & gym twice a week. May binge watch a bit of Netflix every now and then, and do have a playstation and 55" TV though I have only played it 3 times in the last 9 months. I am a snowboarder too so if you ski or board be prepared for sweeet snow trips next year. I do have a car and would need a car space. I am single and have a good group of close friends that keep me busy socially, they are all 27-34yo. I don't go clubbing except for the rare special occasion these days but am inclined to do restaurant/bar drinks a bit. I've lived in a 3 room place with two girls who I still call good friends today, one of them is a police officer and I am happy to pass on their details for you to get their spin on me. I'm clean, neat and I get along with almost anyone. Don't have a green thumb so really looking for a low maintenance apartment. Could maybe handle a pot plant, . . . maybe. If I was to live with someone I would expect us to get along and am happy to hang out. I really don't want to feel like my presence is an imposition. However I happily understand and respect personal space and alone time.
Hey guys. My name is Brad. I am a 23 year old Kiwi working Monday to Friday am doing sign writing. I enjoy keeping busy by doing art, going to the gym, going out for dinner or a beer etc. I don't mind a good night out but i am just as happy to stay home and chill out. Reliable which means i will always pay rent and bills on time. I like to keep clean and tidy so i will always pitch in to clean the place So if you think you have a place for me please get at me! Cheers
Hi I'm John originally from London, I'm 26 years old. Open and accepting to all cultures with a very tolerant temperament, we will not be falling out. Social and active but with a respect and want for privacy at the same time. Found part-time work in one of the many bars around Chapel st meaning I'm on hospitality hours mostly late weekends. While taking on hours doing removals during the week. New to Melbourne and Australia so will be ready to explore what is here either leading the way or happily following along on the fun, I have a love like no other for being in the water (Been to Four different pools in the two weeks of arriving here). So downtime means beach days pool days and walks by the river.
