This unit is located in an older style apartment complex in Burnley. However, the kitchen and bathroom are very modern as they have been renovated within the last two years. The unit is fully furnished. It contains two bedrooms, a large kitchen, dining and lounging area, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The bathroom contains a washing machine and dryer. I am hoping to rent out Bedroom 1 between Saturday the 26th of May until Saturday the 21st of July. It contains a queen bed, desk, office chair, drying rack, large cupboard, bedside table and a storage unit. The unit is located as little as 100m from the Burnley station and trains run very frequently. It takes approximately eight minutes to get from the Burnley station into Flinders street station. It is in walking distance of various cafes (Serotonin Eatery, Friends of Mine, Jethro Canteen, Brother Burnley, Penny House etc), restaurants, pubs, parks and shopping centres. The unit has no heating or air conditioning, however, as it has concrete walls it doesn't get too warm inside. I have a portable noirot panel heater. The rent is $260p/w. Your share of unlimited internet is $30 p/m. You don't have to worry about paying any electricity, gas or water bills, however, I expect a three week bond and one weeks rent in advance! The potential occupant will only need to bring their clothes, food and linen. If you have any additional queries please don't hesitate to contact me via message. I am more than happy to show you through the unit at a time that is convenient for both of us. Kind regards, Chelsie

I am Kuangyi, 22 years old, a graduate just finished a bachelor of computer science degree in ANU, Canberra and work full time in an IT company in Melbourne. Also, I studied fashion design and public art in RMIT for a while. So, a creative nerd? As I work 9 - 5, I hope the home do not hold the party and can be quiet at night during the weekdays. But weekends are fine, I enjoy hanging out with friends, having a drink and chilling out as well. I like drinking coffee and exploring good cafes and brunch in Melbourne. I go to the gym and do boxing regularly. Also, I like watching movies and reading books. I will respect housemates’ privacy and hope receive respect from roommates but also I want to live in a home, not a house and enjoy hanging out or chatting with housemates.

Down to earth dude, down for anything, making music, talking crap, taking portraits, cycling, going out to eat, staying in to eat, watching interstellar the movie, trying to figure out interstellar the movie, making friends. Looking to rent a room within a shared house, open to sharing rooms. I work corporate 9 - 5 Mon - Fri, also have 5 consecutive years of renting and house sharing experience so HMU if youre interested.
I'm an exchange student at Swinburne University from Brazil. Back there I study Civil Engineering and live in a house with 9 more people, so I’m used to share the space and be organized. I like to watch sports, go to parties and make new friends.
Fun guy with good common sense, dark British humour and only the best German stereotypes. I value a clean, tidy and respectful place. Have experiences in living with people from different countries and cultures. That means I’m used to a lot, though I’m actually looking for a quite and chilled flat share with preferably professionals. The occasional common cooking, movie nights and typical chitchat is something that I would like to have with my flatmates. Since we would be sharing a place I consider it important to get along well - must be not on a friendly basis but you’ll probably know what I mean. My main interests sound boring: sports fanatic (football, running, Tennis, etc), music (festivals), books and binge watching!
Hi! I am a friendly and clean 24 year old looking for a clean and friendly place to call home. I love running, cooking, hiking, salsa dancing and travel. Can't wait to meet you =)

Hi, Originally a kiwi, I have been living in Australia for the last 10 years. I have had a recent promotion at work and am relocating from the Gold Coast back to Melbourne. I am clean, tidy and respectful of other people’s space and belongings. I’m looking for a home that is drama-free and peaceful. I enjoy spending time with my friends at festivals, comedy shows, catching up for brunch and generally exploring what the city has to offer. It would be great to find flatmates I could share a meal or a glass of wine with every now and again. Kylie
HeY there! My name is Jee and I just moved to Melbourne few days ago from France. I’m soon to be 24 and here for my first job. Will be working as a project manager. I have lived in many different countries like France, US, Hongkong, Australia etc. I’m easy-going, neat, like to share laugh and love cooking and drinking. Since it’s my first time in Melbourne I’m looking for a house where I can meet good friends 🙂 Feel free to get back to me if the room is still available. I’ll start my work this Thursday that I’m pretty much free to have a look at the place any time. Cheers, Jee
I'm friendly, relaxed, good around the house. I am a 21 year old student studying full time at Swinburne University. Respectful of other people's privacy but also pretty down to earth and willing to have a chat or a beer. Currently overseas travelling in South America on my way back will be in Melbourne on the 26th of Feb so can move in straight away that week!!
Hi I’m Stef, I’m 26 and originally from Geelong. I work 8-4:30 doing digital marketing for a pub group in South Yarra. I’m very easy-going and tidy, and also love keeping busy- going to the gym, catching up with friends, hitting the beach and just being out and about. But when I am home, I love kicking back with a movie and the odd glass of wine... and maybe a cheese platter thrown in. I’ve lived with housemates as well as alone over the last couple of years, so I’m very respectful towards other people’s stuff as well as space. While also being responsible when it comes to paying bills on time etc. I also have a 2yo Frenchie called Biggie, who’s pretty chill and does part time at my parent’s place. He would spend his time outside, but in with me at night. So ideally I’d be looking for somewhere with a decent outdoor space for him. I’d be open to joining an existing house or teaming up for a new one. I already have a few basic household things such as a fridge and washing machine. I’m currently staying with friends, so my move-in date is pretty flexible.

Closest street to the river, no noise from the freeway. 3 big parks within 5 minutes. Applicant must be pet friendly, small cat present, living with 30 year old man. Looking for someone clean and easy to get along with with a healthy lifestyle. $270 p/w, $1500 bond. 1 rectangle shaped bedroom partly furnished with wardrobe and bedside table. Bathroom with shower and bathtub, downstairs toilet and washing room. Possibly available to help move you in with van.
I've been working in film and TV production for years, mainly in camera team, most recently a couple of big American productions in New Zealand and China. I'm sort of changing tack and have enrolled in a Masters of Teaching (primary and secondary), but I also noticed a few irresistible long-term Melbourne jobs and applied for them. I have in my time started space robotics engineering, physics, psychology and philosophy degrees. I'm passionately interested in many many diverse things (which is why I'm attracted to teaching), science, music, arts, graphic novels, hard scifi, tall ship sailing, basketball, walking. I love going to the movies and HBO style TV. A share house is a little community, I like housemates who are friendly, worldly, open minded, and like to come together occasionally for viewings of awesome TV and movies. Special mentions go to: The Wire, Rick and Morty, Fargo, Barton Fink, 25th Hour, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, Sideways, American Beauty, Coen brothers Joel and Ethan, Dogville, Steven Spielberg, Paul Verhoeven, Ridley Scott, James Cameron, Diaspora (book), Greg Egan, Asimov, Birds of Prey, The Black Cloud (book), Quentin Tarantino, Neil Gaiman, Spawn, The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Beirut, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Six Feet Under, Oz, Deadwood, Rome, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, The Drunkard's Walk, Next Gen, Battlestar Galactica, Blake's 7, Bab5, DS9, John Wyndeham, Amelie, Alfred Bester, Kevin Smith, Charlie Kaufman, Bojack Horseman, UFO Enemy Unknown, XCOM, Half Life and CS, StarCraft, Civ, L4D2, Portal, FTL, TIE Fighter, Limbo... I don't have any moving in with me, but my family has dogs that I love, and horses. I like cats too.

Hi Everyone, I'm Melissa, Melbourne born and raised! I work in the inner suburbs as an Office Manager 9am to 5.30pm, for an Oil company. I've lived in share houses with friends as well as on my own in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland over the years. I love the outdoors, travelling, photography, time out with friends, live music and keeping fit with pilates, gym, hikes, soon adding boxing and spin classes! I am relocating to be closer to work and always in the city / surrounding suburbs socially. (I can't handle the commute to work and back forth socially anymore! haha) Looking for a private large bedroom in a shared house or apartment, with car parking, whether off or on street. Preferably with housemates that have good energy, sense of humour, drama free and easy going like me, non-smokers, no drugs, no parties at home and no pets. Within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to trams/train station. Flexible with age from late 20's to early 40's. I would like housemates that I can have the occasional drink, chat and meal with. I know we all have our own lives at the end of the day but it's nice to not be complete strangers with those you live with! Feel free to message me if you have any questions, especially a share place available and you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household. Cheers :)
I’m gonna be an exchange student at Deakin University next trimester and still need to find a place that I can call home for the next 4 months. I’ve been living in share houses for the last 3 years, so I’m house trained and I’m looking forward to live in a homely house with a nice and social atmosphere. I’m open minded, easy going, normally tidy, I enjoy cooking together, hanging out with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, having a good conversation, watching a movie, playing volleyball, and wandering around the city to check out new pubs or cafés. I love exploring new places, laughing, meeting people, listening to music, being amazed by fabulous nature or trying new sports. Can't wait to meet my future housemates :)
