Hello friendly faces! My name is Allyse, I'm 19 and I live in Mount Martha on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. I work two jobs local to me and planning to study Nursing at uni next year! I'm a bright, enthusiastic and very friendly girl. My main passion is music so I love going to gigs in the city and banging down a few beers every so often with my friends! I've been wanting to move out of home for a while and would love more than anything to live close to one of my favourite cities in the world, Melbourne (of course)! Feel free to send me a message as I would love to hear from you!! Allyse xx
Hi I'm Jess, 28, work full time at a gym. I love travel and the outdoors, yoga, cooking, trying new things and meeting new people. I have a lot of experience living in share houses and although I keep busy I also love being social, it’s important for me to have a good balance. I'm friendly and easy-going, clean and fun to live with!
I work as a Data Analyst (standard office hours) and spend my weekends surreptitiously plotting world domination and/or sleeping in - whichever comes first. I try to keep myself fit and healthy, but not in a gym-junkie or detox-fanatic kinda way. Weekdays after work, if I'm not training or dining out with friends, then you'll usually find me just having a chilled-out evening in front of the TV. I generally keep to myself, but I'd rather share a place with a compatible person than be roommates with strangers. If you enjoy a quiet glass of wine in the evenings and David Attenborough documentaries, we'll get along fine.
Just moved to Melbourne from Singapore and looking for some friendly chilled housemates, preferably sociable people with their own lives going on but enjoy a good weekend of friends & food and a drink or three. I work as a physiotherapist and when I'm not doing that I like to do my own thing, socialise, exercise. I'm generally a busy person who likes to try different sports or arts or activities etcccc on the weekends.
Hi I'm a 33 y.o. new to Melbourne and originally from Perth but have lived and worked around the world. I'm looking for a place preferably with other full time day workers that's reasonably clean and quiet, but also laid back and friendly. Thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon. (n.b. move date and length of stay are flexible)
British, clean, friendly and social! I've just started working at Deakin Uni in Burwood as a health economist. I work Mon - Fri, and leave fairly early in the mornings. Weekday evenings I like to chill out, watch netflix, read and write, play sports, go for a drink etc. Weekends I like to keep active and regularly meet up with friends. Having spent most of the last 2 years in full-time study and part-time work I'm keen also to do some weekend road trips. To live with I'm very easy - I get on with most people I meet and definitely have the mindset life is too short to be stressed out! I've linked my facebook account to this profile in case you wanted a better idea of who I am. Cheers!
My name is Tom I'm 30 and I'm looking for a room to rent long term in the Hawthorn,Richmond,Abbotsford area. I'm looking for a room preferably with one person already living there. I'm a very laid back easy going bloke, I'm clean and tidy. I enjoy socialising and making new friends. I respect that people need their space and I'm very easy to live with. I'm in full time work. Please get in touch if you have a room available
Creative easy-going young professional (Graphic Designer) fresh off the boat in Melbourne! I've been here for 3 weeks now, and I just got a job in Glen Waverly, and so I'm looking for a place that makes my commute a little less of a hassle. I'm from the US and ultimately, I'm running away from Donald Trump (can you blame me? ;-) I have very little possessions and so ideally I'm looking for a furnished bedroom, but am open to the idea of unfurnished as well. My friends have always considered me the neat and tidy one, if that means anything. (my bedroom might be another story, but common areas should stay as clean as possible, IMO!) My interests include: yoga, running, biking, playing outside in general, wine, watching films, dancing like an idiot (while out on the weekends) and coffee. I would prefer to live with flatmate(s) who are in their late 20's, early 30's. :)
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
I am a medical scientist working a rotating roster from 6am until 12 am (midnight). I am originally from the outter eastern suburbs wanting to move closer into Melbourne. I love cooking, especially cakes and other sweets, and I have my own cake decorating facebook page. I am highly reliable, organised, clean, tidy and respectful. During the week while I'm not working I'll be at gym or just chilling. On the weekends I enjoy catching up with friends, movies, occasional drink or just watching tv. I am currently dating but my partner is not ready to move out of home so I would need a place that would accept him staying 1-2 nights a week (I am willing to pay extra in rent for the times he stays).
Briefly about myself, my name is Minh, 21yo Vietnamese boy studying 3rd year Accounting at Swinburne Uni, I also keep myself busy with a part-time job in Hospitality at a hotel in the CBD, going to the gym 3 days a week and fulfill my passion for art/design by drawing and designing sometimes. Apart from that, I would love to socialize and enjoy some time hanging out with my housemates, as I am looking for a place to call home where I would feel comfortable and at my best, not just a place to live. I would love to share the flat with people who are open-minded, fun-loving and friendly, who would enjoy one or two drinks here and there, or hanging out for brunch in the weekend. I highly appreciate people you do not identify themselves as racist, sexist and homophobe. Lastly, I try my best to keep my own personal place as well as the common area of every place I have lived in clean and tidy.
Hi! I'm Aya. I have recently moved to Melbourne from Queensland and am currently working in the CBD. I am looking for a clean, comfortable and furnished place to stay with a roommate/s. I am a creative person that loves socialising and exploring, as well as relaxing and having my own space. I'm looking forward to this next chapter and hope to meet my flatmate/s soon!
Currently working full-time, back to uni (Swinburne) next year. Checking out my options in the meantime.
Hi my name is Kerry. A bit about me...... Im in my early 30's and have recently moved to Melbourne from Adelaide. Ive just secured a role in the CBD as a Facilities Manager so I can definitely play my bills on time !! Im an aspiring fitness addict (aspiring being the operative word), healthy eater (though I have been known to slip in some cheese and wine when nobody is looking) and frequently indulge in Youtube distractions with my friends. Im very clean (though I won't stress if a few dishes are left in the sink) and tend to be a little freaked out by hoarders and extreme ornament collectors !! If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to flick me a message.
Hey, I'm Nicole, 26yo and work FT for an insurance company in the city. I am originally from Adelaide and moved to Melbourne around 7 years ago after spending some time overseas and have been in share house environments ever since. My current housemate is now looking at moving in with her boyfriend so I am now looking for a new place to call home. My move in date is flexible but preferably by the end of the month (I can move sooner if needed). I am ideally looking for something in the area of Richmond, Burnley, Cremorne & East Melbourne but am open to other options. I'm am easy going and reliable when it comes to rent, bills, general cleaning and sharing the space etc. I generally keep things fairly quiet during the work week - on weekend I do like to get out and explore things going on around Melbourne or head out meals with friends. If I sound like a person you’d like would like to live with, please send me a message.
Hi there! I am Katha, doing my Master degree in the city. Right now I am about to finish my first year. Since I am heading overseas for quite a while I will give up my current bedroom and look for a new one from beginning/ mid January. If I find a great place I would love to stay there for as long as possible. A bit about me: I am studying International Urban and Environmental Management and work besides that as Babysitter. I am originally from Germany but decided to come back to Melbourne after doing an exchange semester in the city during my undergraduate. I love my studies and get quite passionate about it. I do care about the environment (well yes my journey is not in favor of that); like these tiny independent shops where you can get amazing food. I am not a fan of small talks but try to find interesting people who inspire me. Besides that I love a great piece of chocolate cake, vegetarian food, a good book, chats with like minded people and one to three beers at the pub after uni. I love to go to the small gigs which are all over the city, a walk on the beach and spending time in cafes. I do some sports, swim once or twice per week and go for a run now and then. I am looking for a place with people who are interested in similar things, do not party at home and have a place with a warm atmosphere. I am a really clean living person and look for a place which shares that. Looking forward to hear from anyone of you out there. Cheers
Hello! I'm looking for a house share in the Collingwood/Richmond/Hawthorn area moving in late-November (flexible as my current place is month-by-month). I'm a 24yr old originally hailing from London but now working full-time in the Sustainability sector in Melbourne. I'm sociable, always keen to chill or have a drink and looking for housemates who I can hang out with after work. I've lived in several different house shares over the last 5yrs so I know all the do's and don'ts of shared living (and I can cook some mean vego dishes). Also open to teaming up if anyone is also looking for a place in a similar area (anywhere close-ish to the M1 so I can get to work!) It'd be great to live with like-minded people who like to throw the occasional party but are into their cooking, clean-eating and exercise :) If you have a room available then shoot me a message or text! Cheers, Lillie

Hey guys, So i've recently moved back to Melbourne after a 5 years up north. And have been staying with friends in South Yarra, but now i'm ready to find my own place. I am a professional who works full-time as a Teacher. I'm looking for a place where I will obviously get along well with the other housemate/s. I am someone who loves to share meals with others to give the place that homely vibe and also make life easier for others. However I'm also looking for a place that doesn't see you constantly in the other persons space. I have lived in houseshares for 10 years now and i'm a very respectful, clean and considerate housemate. Who always pays bills on time and does his bit around the house. I love my sport, cooking, and finding new places in Melbourne to explore. If you think I could be a good fit for your place, please send me a msg and I will get back to you. Look forward to hearing from you. Nick
Hello! I am making the move down from Queensland for Uni. I am respectful, clean and considerate. I play field hockey and volunteer as a presenter at my local community radio station. I love live music, fresh flowers and baking. Also can't go pass a good chat about politics, social issues or the footy; basically anything! As a housemate, I am extremely flexible and understanding as long as there is mutual respect. I'd prefer rent and utility bills to be inclusive but will compromise if needed. Love to hear from you and have a Skype chat so we can get to know each other. I can't wait to immerse myself in the Melbourne lifestyle. Talk soon!
I am passionate about life. I love exploring outdoors, meeting new people and learning new things. I'm easy going, down to earth and would describe myself as an respectful flat mate . Would love to stay in Melbourne for the next 6/8 month. Maybe longer .

I enjoy going out for brunch - a lot - and going for drinks with friends. I have lived in share houses before and know what's expected, I am also very tidy and clean up after myself :)

I enjoy having a chat after work with flat mates and spending time with friends, shopping, going to bars and cafes, and exploring in the weekends! I am available end of Nov but flexible if I find the perfect place!
Hey potential housemates! I'm Heather, I'm a graphic designer, currently doing an internship plus working part time in retail to pay the bills. I like to ride my bike, go out for coffee and brunch, shop, walk, and generally explore Melbourne. If I'm not at work you might find me drawing, reading, listening to music, watching some TV shows or playing video games. I'm not a big party animal but do enjoy going out for drinks at the pub with friends and like to enjoy a wine or two on the couch at home. I'm vegetarian and love to cook, but I'm relaxed about others cooking/eating meat. I don't have any pets but I will adore yours if you have any in your home!!

Hey guys! Easy going 24 yr old student studying at RMIT. Looking for some flat mates who have some appreciation for cleanliness and enjoys the occasional beverage. Because of early mornings at work and Uni I regard sleep as a precious commodity. I cycle everywhere, love playing music, cooking when I can and volunteer occasionally on weekends. Love animals too!
