I consider myself to be a laid-back, peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals and any kind of fitness/wellbeing. I'm someone who likes socialising and equally enjoys time by myself. I tend to keep things tidy and respect shared space. Always up for going out exploring and trying new things or just lay back sit at home and watch something. Un-winding with a drink is something I tend to engage in. I'm from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters of business in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time.
To start off, Im a Cook studying commercial cookery course. Im like to be clean and tend to clean off dirts if it ticks me off. but sometimes i get lazy for awhile due to the stress of work. Im quite quiet person , once comfortable i can be cheerful. I respect people's space and boundaries, follow house rules .

I'm a very considerate and neat person which respects shared and open spaces. Mastered in the art of black clothing. Designer and student by day and sloth by night. I'm Asian but can't speak Chinese (sorry) but I can help you draw beyond stick figure level. I enjoy cooking and will share if I have any left. Often goes out with mates or works at home late. Will offer a (small- sorry mine aren't big enough) shoulder to cry on. Certified gif queen (2017).
Lived in sharehouses for 5 years now, once with 3 people, more recently just two people & now looking to share with just one other person, easy to get along with & work M-F 8:30 to 5:30. I'm social, love the areas & work in the city, I enjoy gym after work and heading out on the weekends, Looking for someone easy to get along with that enjoys their own space as well as occasionally up for having a chat, dinner or a drink.
Hi there! I have relocated from Perth to Melbourne, and am looking for a place to live ASAP. I'm a mature, tidy, respectful housemate that gets along with people of all age groups, and walks of life. I'm a creative type that loves making art, photography, reading, live music, and watching kitschy b-grade films. My ideal home would be a safe place with a private room (preferably with enough space on the floor to do yoga), relatively close to public transport, with friendly people that like to have a laugh. I would like to stay for at least six months if possible. Sadly I don't have any pets of my own, but I adore animals (especially cats!). I'm thrilled to finally call your beautiful city my home, and I'm looking forward to meeting you! Thanks for looking!
Hi, I'm Laura, moving to Melbourne for work. I'm easygoing, clean and considerate around the house, sociable but not a party animal. I work full-time, study part time, like to get out and about (hiking, camping, exercise, arts, social events). I also like cooking and would love to share dinner with housemates occasionally. I don't smoke and would be looking for a non-smoking house. I have no children or pets, but am fine with other people's. I'm looking for a long term sharehouse, preferable for 1 year or more, with great people and positive attitudes. People and location are important to me, not fussed if the place is fancy or not. Please let me know if you have any questions or know of something that might suit. Cheers Laura
Hi there, Just moved down from Brisbane, where I've willingly chosen to give up the endless sunshine for the freezing cold and rainy days of Melbourne. I'm very passionate about a clean kitchen and paying bills on time as I like being organised. I work part time and study part time. My professional background is in start up management and software services. Not really into partying but I am always up for some few bevs after work. I am also a non-smoker. I don't think I'll be home too much in my spare time as I'll be out getting to know Melbourne. Other interests include making Simpsons references whenever possible and following sports, especially cricket and NFL. Yet to pick a footy team though, so I'll need some guidance on who not to follow!
I'm 26 year old from England over here working as a site manager in construction. I like to keep fit, go to the gym a fair bit. Started playing rugby here as well so pretty busy during the week. I'm not too bad at cooking and generally a pretty clean and tidy person! I like to go out on a weekend, meet up with mates and go for drinks/food. I enjoy going to gigs, festivals and the like. Looking for some flatmates who fancy chilling out grabbing food drinks and doing fun stuff now and again. I've lived in plenty of share houses in the past so I know the deal!
- 23 year old Software Developer working in Camberwell - Social and actually around the house - Clean and always pay rent/bills on time - Happy to stay a long term if the fit is right - Carlton tragic - favourite phrase is 'all day breakfast' - As the job suggests I spend a it of time online (I hope you like bad puns, and hilarious memes) - Beer and Scotch kind of a guy. (so if something goes wrong this is the best way to break the news) - Currently living solo so I have (most of) the furniture and appliances needed to start up a new place, however I can find somewhere else for it if you just have a room for me! What I'm looking for: - Close to public transport - Social and friendly room mate/s. Pretty flexible and easy going, If you think we'd get a long send me a message and we could grab a coffee and have a chat! Note: My current lease finishes towards the end of September but if the right opportunity comes up, I'm happy to move some time during September. Happy to team up with the right people too.
Super friendly gal working and studying full time. I'm usually very busy and am rarely at home but when I am you'll most likely see me watching movies, reading, cooking up a storm or enjoying a glass of vino! I am respectful and tidy!
I'm a easygoing and sensitive person...i'm extroverted and i love chatting with other person but at the same time i'm very respectful of the other privacy! I love listening to music, watching movies and have dinner or drink a beer together. I'm a cat lover! I've got my "Natural Science" degree in italy but for now i'm just working in a restaurant in Camberwell :)
Hey potential flatmates! My name is Monique (24) and I moved to Melbourne from Brisbane about 3 months ago. I'm currently in a sublet which doesn't end until November but i'm hoping to move somewhere for over a year so I want to make sure its the right place. I'm not much of a party person, I really enjoy cooking and socialising over TV or dinner. Back in Brisbane I lived with 2 others and we worked really hard on making the place a home. I miss having people who want to spend time with you during the week and would help each other out. I'm very conscious of keeping the common spaces (specifically the kitchen) clean so everyone can enjoy them. Ideally I would like to move into this environment. During the week I like sharing meals and hate-watching reality tv together. On weekends i'm mostly out exploring Melbourne trying new places and more often than not new food spots. I'm looking for a room that has BIR, can hold a queen bed and a desk, if your old flatmate is selling some furniture I'd be more than happy to discuss buying it. I also have 2 sewing machines I sometimes use but i'm more than happy to keep these in my room. In terms of location, I would be looking to be near a train station (under 10 minute walk). I do also have a car, which i'm happy to park on the street. I have previously lived above a convenience store and am interested in any usual or different places to live. If this sounds like your jam, please send me a message and I'll respond ASAP! Thanks Monique
Hi Im Sandy, (m) 36. I an originally from Mauritius but moved here about 17 years ago. I work full time as a night audit manager in a hotel in the CBD. I work from 11Pm-7AM /5 days a week.
Hey, I'm Dugald! I'm 24yo and over the past 12 months I've traveled USA/MEXICO/UK/EU/JAPAN. Before all of that travel, I completed a Music Business degree. This allowed me to travel up and down the east-coast of Australia with bands as a tour manager/logistics coordinator/beer tech-ie working for bands ensuring their tour runs smoothly, not only logistically but financially as well. I am a reliable and honest individual that respects the space of others, I'm not a massive party person but still enjoy nights out going to gigs and enjoying beers with mates! I work in Abbotsford and have just scored a new rad job in Brunswick too. Cheers :) Dugald
English, 26 years old. Easy to get along with, considerate of others, clean and tidy. I'm a social person but also like my own space at times. Enjoy watching & playing football (soccer) Looking to rent a room for 6 months +
Hi there, I'm an Irish girl currently working full time as a website administrator. I just moved to Melbourne in April and will be looking to move into a new place by August 27th. Because of the limitations with my visa, my contracts with work change a bit meaning I, unfortunately, can't commit to a set length of stay. I am clean, quiet and courteous and I enjoy movies, music and reading (very exciting, I know). I'm always up for a chat, but I also enjoy my down time and I am very respectful of other peoples privacy. My requirements are that I need to be near a train station as I don't have a car, I would much prefer a quiet room as I am a bit of a light sleeper and I need somewhere that's fully furnished. If you have any questions, please let me know :)
I am a 28 year old digital designer working full time. I'm pretty easy going guy, social, into music and play a bit of guitar. Plenty of rental history with both genders. Lease runs out on the 22nd of September so will be looking to move around then. I also come with a cat named Dexter. He is a super chilled 2 year old tabby that loves food and sleeping.
I am Alicia, 21 yo and from Germany. I am looking for an apartment from September till mid / end of October. I am an easy going girl who prefers to drink some beers with friend instead of clubbing. I like to play tennis and badminton, but just for fun I'm not good in that :D. I love baking and cooking. I am working as a babysitter in hawthorn Tuesday - Friday 7:30-2:30pm. Sometimes mondays as well. I hope you're interested even if I will stay for only one/ one and a half month. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Alicia
Hey! I'm looking for a positive household to call my new home :) I am a PT, am a carer for a woman who has down syndrome and finishing up my masters of social work so am running around most of the time! I do have a tendency to collapse on my bed with netflix at the end of the day. I am very much into the gym and being active, but also enjoy a beer and dance over the weekend. I don't generally bring people over because when I want to have fun, I like being out and about, but I wont mind if you do etc. I am very neat and tidy and tend to hoover haha. I like chatting (comes with social work and PT), but also recharge my battery with quiet time so I am definitely not someone who will ever be in your face. Generally speaking if I'm not studying or training people, I am probably at the gym myself or with friends (or collapsed on my bed with food and Netflix). I'm very down to earth and I am very easy to get along with so hope I sound like a nice fit :D I love animals so if you have any, I will gladly love them too! I will also need a car-park/permit as I have wheels. The date I am hoping to move is flexible and open providing I give about a month notice to my current place, but am happy to double up on rent if its for a nice house with nice people. I really want to live in a positive environment with like-minded people who are friendly, neat and open to hanging out now and then. If I sound like I might be a good fit, please message or send me a text. Xox
Hi, guys. I am from Brisbane and I have been here in Melbourne for a year I'm a student doing product design and I have got a full-time job as a barber in South melburne. I am staying in. Melbourne for good for now. I am looking for a room for my self. please if there is any thing available let me know we can arrange a time to have chat in person. thanks you
Hey I'm Jess and I'm 21! I'm after a new place to live by the end of this month. Originally from Indonesia + Queensland, I moved to Melbourne 3.5 years ago. I also have a cat! His name is Puffin, he's a handsome chap (wears a tuxedo 😉) and he's two. He's a cheeky boy but super friendly and non-destructive (still in training though!). In addition, I also drive a car and would require at the very least the ability to get a street parking permit. I'm mostly introverted and enjoy a lot of time to myself however I enjoy a glass of red and netflix sesh with good company on occasion. Sadly (if you see it that way), I am mature minded and don't have a lot of time for Disney movies/rom coms/The Bachelor and the like. I am experienced in share houses and can share the load no worries. I have a sick TV and some furniture so I'd prefer a non-furnished room. Looking for other respectful, friendly people who are aware of boundaries and personal space. LGBTI and sex worker friendly, I don't discriminate.
