Hello potential flatmates! My name is Rashmi Mishra and I'm a postgrad at the University of Sydney. I've lived in different suburbs around sydney with people from diverse backgrounds for 2 years now, so I know what works and what doesn't for me :) So here it goes: I like my privacy but also enjoy getting to know other people. I would be down for occasional hangouts, chats, etc. I like to get an early start to my day, so I try to sleep early as well, so I probably won't be a part of most late-night hangouts. I don't smoke and prefer to live with non-smokers. I'm not a party girl and a pure vegetarian, however, I don't mind if you are into either. I just ask that you're respectful of my wishes as well and clean up after yourself. I love exploring and trying new things in my free time. I'm quite into photography and Kathak, an Indian classical dance form. I'm an avid reader and have a HUGE book collection which I'm happy to lend if you're interested. I also love to keep myself fit and aim to do something physical every day. As someone who enjoys nature, I love to explore the natural beauty that Sydney has to offer. In terms of what I am looking for in a flatmate, I would prefer to stay with a female flatmate. I am an organized person and like to keep the space clean and tidy. I am respectful of others' privacy and would appreciate the same in return. I am looking for an affordable accommodation anywhere Sydney with one room for myself that has a shelf, desk and chair, a kitchen, and a bathroom. I'm keen to hear from you!

Hi everyone! I’m moving from Adelaide to Sydney on October 18th and looking for a furnished room with private bathroom to rent while I settle in and find my own place. My house furniture will be going into storage, so having a furnished setup would be perfect. I’m a counsellor, working full time during normal business hours. I’m respectful, considerate, and clean. I really value a tidy space and would appreciate the same in a house. Personality wise, I’m pretty easygoing. I’m usually quiet but I enjoy a good chat and hanging out with housemates if they’re up for it. I also like to socialize, party, and go out now and then. Despite being in my 40s I definitely don’t fit the stereotype lol I’m open minded about who I live with; age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and nationality don’t matter to me. I’m originally from a Persian background, moved to Australia 20 years ago, and I call Australia home. Just recently I’ve decided to relocate to Sydney for a new chapter.
