Hi there, I'm Cara who is overseas student coming from Korea and I'll move to Melbourne at the middle of February(19th~22th feb). I'm pretty sure to stay for 3 years once I'm settled in. I'll be at the Hawthorne campus of Swinburne University, so I'm looking for east area near by Hawthorne. As a housemate I am open-minded, easy going, clean and kind of enthusiastic on my study.love to chilling out with cheap wine and cheese :) I've been Melbourne for few years as backpacker and student shared flat, So I know the drill when it comes to share the place with others respectfully. I don't smoke or have pets. Please feel free to contact to me. Keen to hear from you
Hey guys! I’m looking to move out Mid Feb 2019. I’m an easy going girl who loves to cook and keep active and have a lot of fun. I’m quite house proud and tend to keep things clean. Studying full time at Caulfield and work as a receptionist up on High street. I lived out of home working in the U.K. in 2017 and house sitting frequently throughout 2018. So I have experience loving out of home but am new to the renting game.
Located a short walk to hartwell station (Alamein line) and 75 tram and a bit of a longer walk to the 70 tram. Neighbourhood is quite and easy (and free) off street parking if necessary! There is an air conditioner for the hot summer days and a heater for those times that Melbourne decides to change its mind!
FULLY-FURNISHED ROOM IN CAMBERWELL - SHORT TERM Dear fellow flatmates, I am letting my fully furnished room available for short term (due to temporarily interstate) i.e, 1st to 28th of February, in a 3-bedroom apartment is situated in a very quiet street in Camberwell - street is between Toorak road and Riversdale road (few minutes walk to tram, bus stop and Woolworths), Coles new supermarket (just opened few weeks ago) as well around the corner (400 metres walk), the tram takes about 20 minutes to CBD - as well as the place is close to train stations if required. The massive room features a double bed, cupboard, couch, one glass table, wall shelves, a newly bought computer desk and office chair with armrest, and a nice balcony with an outside chair. The place holds 3 people, and features a quiet lifestyle in Camberwell which is surrounded by exquisite beauty for hours of walking around the area. The place contains a shared toilet/bathroom, massive fridge and cosy kitchen and other facilities such as washing machine. The location itself is the most amazing part about the place, since Camberwell is ideally located within minutes of travel to any direction of interest, and is closely connected throughout inner and outer suburbs which makes more of a more relaxing experience than living right into the CBD. Beautiful parks and walks surround the everyday life, as well as quick few minutes walks to supermarkets and local shops and other daily needs. Bills are excluded, however we do not pay for water as the body corporate covers it. Please enquire within for an asap inspection time, and looking for someone to take care of the room and its furniture while I am away. Thank you!!! Hope you secure this sweet spot of a place to live real soon for a short while! Mitra :)
Hey ! I'm a 23 year old guy looking to move into a room ASAP . I'd describe myself as a super laid back person who's really accommodating with roommates. Completed a masters in Accounting from Deakin and currently looking for a job. My interests include anything soccer related from playing Fifa to actually getting out there and playing the sport with friends or competitions. I'm a decent cook if that helps and really enjoy my old school rock and hip-hop. I enjoy beers over the weekend and would be open to just laying back and socializing with roommates !
Hi there, My name is Linda and I'm a 21 year old student living in Vienna, Austria. I'm a very sociable and open-minded person with a great sense of humor and I will always have an open ear for you or advice if you need some :) I'm very adventurous and both love to go out partying or having a nice dinner with friends, but also just chill at home and spend a cosy evening in front of the TV. I'm a very chilled easy and uncomplicated type of girl and get along with everyone. I'd love to build up a great friendship with my flatmate and in best case even find someone who joins me travelling through the country :) I'm very tidy and reliable, you don't have to worry about not getting the rent on time. If you think we match - feel free to text me! :-) all the best, Linda
HI I am a student, currently studying at Deakin University, flexible with the location though. I am an easy going person who likes to have fun but also likes to have my own personal time. I play poker in my free time :). Cheers
Hi! I'm Sam, I'm currently living in Hobart and studying media and comms online at Swinburne and now i'm looking for a small space to house me while I get through uni on campus in Hawthorn. I'm pretty flexible with moving dates and length of stay - doesn't have to be the full 12 months if that suits you better. I'm quiet, happy with my own company, a non-smoker and not a big drinker but still very happy to participate in house chats over wine. I'm not a massive party animal, those days are well behind me, so I'm looking for a place that's pretty easy going and chill. I'm pretty partial to a video game or board game. I'm very liberal, accepting of everyone and have loved living with (and learning from) females for the past 3 years, so that would also be a bonus. I come bearing a washing machine and couch if needed (I can sell them down here before I leave), an array of plants that are always struggling to stay alive, a love for any good boy or girl doggos and some semblance of culinary skills. If you'd like to meet I will be back and forth to Melbourne at the start of 2019, but I'm always happy to skype/facetime etc. if you want a chat. I look forward to meeting you :)
Hey, I moved to Melbourne in 2017, and I am studying currently at University Of Melbourne. I am quite friendly and cooperative. I am a bit shy and awkward in the beginning, however the more you'll know me, the more fun you'll have. I am all about living life with a chill and I love to draw and paint. I usually keep my surroundings very neat and tidy. I try to cook as much as I can, and I am always up for a drink if you need company :)
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Recent uni graduate now working full-time weekdays. On the weekends I spend a lot of my time outdoors: hiking, bodyboarding, cycling. Looking for housemates that are responsible but also laid-back and happy to share a drink or watch a film together sometimes. Shoot me a message if you have any questions :)
Hey guys, the names Dan, I have just moved from Brissy, to this amazing city! I work as an engineer, who enjoys the company of others, and loves to laugh, hangout and go on adventures. I enjoy travel - just came back from America, latin dance, social sports, yoga, cooking, and nature. I have had great experiences with flatmates, and happy to provide references.
Cute little 2 bedroom unit in Camberwell. We have a nice living area with comfy couches and a great kitchen! 5 min walk from nearest tram stop, 5 min drive to Deakin Uni and 3 min drive to nearest supermarket! There is always plenty of street parking available - no permit needed. There are a number of great parks and walking tracks in the area!
Hi I'm Gabriel! Pretty chill and easy to live with. I work in a restaurant in Burnley and most of my time from (Wed to Sund), I'm at work. I have been living in a place I rented with a friend in Kew for the last two years while I did a Master of Design at Swinburne, but now my friend moved out of town and I feel like is time to move somewhere new. I ride a motorbike which is the reason why off-street parking is a must for me. On my days off I like to explore new brunching places or just take it east at home. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates but I also understand sometimes everyone want to be doing their own thing, so yeah pretty chill in general, just not a smoker so I don't like to live with other people that smokes in the house. :D!!
Labourer studying carpentry Enjoy time on my own but more than happy to share a meal and beers Love my sport and music Clean and tidy SCOTTISH Looking for a nice, clean, affordable place to live Social environment but able to do my own thing also
Greetings, I'm 18 years old and will be studying a Diploma of Justice at Swinburne University. I'm tidy, neat and enjoy socializing. My pass time is primarily gaming but I also play guitar & occasionally paint and build models. I also tend to be non-judgmental and always up for a chat. some extra details to note, I don't smoke and only occasionally drink, I also have no preference for genders of my fellow flatmates but I hope that they are polite. I should mention that I can do $205 A week for rent if it includes bills. :)
Hi there! I took the plunge and moved to Melbourne from Adelaide a few months ago with no job lined up and no friends in the city. I'm settling into the city, now working full time at Fonda Mexican, and looking for a new place to call home as my housemates are sadly moving away. And hey, if I can keep working on that no friends thing, all the better! I'm pretty easy going: a lover of brunch, wine, movies, and dogs, and not much of a party animal. I love to have a chat and a laugh, but am more than capable of enjoying my own company and respecting everyone's space. I am a cook for a living so I don't always love cooking at home, but when I can actually get myself to start I like to experiment a lot and find all sorts of different things to make and try and share. I have a bit of time before my lease is up, but I'm hoping to lock something in sooner rather than later, ideally pretty close to Hawthorn. I come with a coffee machine
Hey my name is Desiree, I am 23 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand. I work and study in transport and logistics. Long days and even longer weekends (studying and catching up with friends) mean's I'm generally not home a lot! Looking to go flatting somewhere close to Hawthorn as i don't want to commute too far to work. Also I don't smoke and I don't mind pets!
31 year old professional female looking for a place near one of the train stations on the Lilydale/Belgrave lines (work commute). I've been flatting most of my adult life so I'm pretty well trained. I'm looking for a friendly and warm home environment, one where flatmates will occasionally meet for a drink/meal/chat about the week together. I enjoy the usual things, travel, skiing, wine, beach.
