Dear potential flatmate, I'd like to join or start a share-house in the Inner-Western suburbs, something along the Westside Bikeway (Camden Park to Mile End) would be ideal, but I'm open to other nearby areas and/or the beach. But first, the buzzwords: open minded, relaxed, positive, drama-free, healthy, fit, social, non-smoker, respectful, single, active, musician, foodie, traveller, great listener, no BS-taker, decent human. I am a business negotiator in the gourmet food industry - basically your great food and wine are actually my job ;-) I have plenty of experience with sharing accomodation, both agencies and privates, and multiple enthusiastic references are available. Lots of interests/hobbies: food (it's for work!), cycling, road-trips and anything you can do outdoors, photography, music, movies, music, music, reading (I'm a news junkie), new technologies and random nerdy stuff... much much more. When I'm home, if I'm not doing some work-related email catching-up, I'm very open to socialising during dinner or a glass of wine if that's the type of house, otherwise I respect other peoples' spaces :) Details aside, just feel free to contact me and we'll see how we go from there. Cheers! Some random facts: - I have saved thousands of marine turtles in Mexico. - I'm Italian but I don't like soccer. - I do cook amazing food, I'd love a foodies' house! - Italian and English aside, I speak fluent Spanish and it'd be great to practice my French :) - Eventually in a few years time I want to quit everything, buy a sailing boat and go places.
Canadian hanging out in Aus for a while longer. Just moved to Adelaide, I work in the wine industry so SA is a gold mine, looking forward to exploring. I like a pretty quiet but social home life and I tend to get on with everybody.

Hi everyone! My names Daniella, I'm 23 years old and I am currently looking for a new housemate to rent my unit with me from now. I'm very tidy, like to have fun, easy going and looking for someone similar. I also work full time and study law full time too. The room for rent is very spacious, fits a double bed and has a built in wardrobe too. The unit has recently been done up, including new floor boards, paint job, and bathroom. It also has a decent sized garden with a paved patio out the back. The entire unit is furnished besides the room for rent. Air con/heating in the lounge room too. Although there is no specific car park, there are usually free spaces in the shared driveway + plenty of parking in front of the unit/side streets. 5 minute walk to bus/tram for public transport. Minimum 6 month stay. Water, Electricity are included as well as internet. Bond and 1 month rent is due upon move in date. I also have a beautiful Maine coon that is outdoor/indoor cat :) International students are also welcome. Please feel free to contact me for more info :)
Hey friends, I'm Lucy, I'm 20 years old and currently still living with my family Looking to move out within the next few months for more freedom and independence. (Don't be worried that if you were to get a house with me I'd be hit hard with reality and take off half way through the lease, because when I plan something, I stick to it, and this is me forever, or at least the amount of time I commit too) I work Monday to Friday in a Call Centre, work evenings and weekends part time, and work weekends doing Freelance Makeup. On weekends when I'm not working I party like most 20 year old's do. When at home, I like to lounge around either in my bed with Netflix, or on the couch with a good movie, which will most likely result in afternoon naps or dancing around the house with no pants on (I'll try to be fully dressed when your family comes over but no promises) In a roommate I'd be looking for someone like minded and respectful, it would be a huge plus to become friends aswel rather than just passing in the kitchen everyday (I can understand that becoming friends with your roommate can ruin things but I'd be determent to keep the divide) In a house I would be looking for something clean and low maintenance (not necessarily new but preferably new appliances) , would love a spare bedroom (which we can both use) for when friends need to stay, and a dishwasher for me is a must. (Nice bathtub also preferable for lush bath bombs!) I also wanted to mention first up, I have collected a lot of the furniture that would be required for the shared spaces in our home so I'm not too fussed (would actually be preferable) if you didn't have much furniture already, hence avoiding having double.
$150/week with Free unlimited internet. Gas, electricity and water are included in the rent. The bus stop 14 is near the house and tram stop 11 is in the next street so there is not much worries about transport going to Uni/City and to popular Glenelg Beach. Anzac Hwy is very popular location due to many transportation options and many facilities available in the area. This is a big house with big room. Single bed, student desk, chair, wardrobe, electric fan, lockable cabinet for your important documents provided. We got 2.5 bathrooms and toilets, large kitchen (kitchen utensils provided), laundry with washing machine, 2 lounge areas, large veranda and gated property. We are government approved student accommodation and private lodging. We got house rules for the cleanliness of the property and privacy/security of tenants. Minimum 6 months.
I am 22 year old female that works full time and am looking for a room to rent around the Glenelg/ surrounding areas. I am a friendly and bubbly girl that enjoys socialising but also likes to relax on the couch and watch a movie. I have recently set some health and fitness goals, so I do a lot of meal prep and go to the gym around 5 times a week. I also enjoy cleaning but am not a neat freak in any way so having a dirty house will never be an issue. I am tidy and clean and I respect other peoples space aswell as property. Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions or have a listing that would suit what I am looking for.
Off the street in a quiet neighbourhood. Close to Glenelg and the city. Close to public transport. Private backyard / courtyard area. Garage. Security gate and telecom system. 10-15 yr old property. Low maintenance garden. Nice neighbours. The bedroom for rent is a really good size with built in robe.
I work in hospitality so work most nights and am quiet when I'm home. I enjoy cooking and like keeping a routine. I like to lay low during my 'work week' but enjoy social activities and entertaining friends when I have the opportunity. I have a 9yo Beaglier
In a quiet street opposite a park, 10 minutes to harbourtown and the airport. 5 minutes to glenelg. Recently installed ducted A/C with selectable room zones. Undercover entertaining area, laundry, bathroom with separate toilet, built in wardrobe, modern spacious kitchen, undercover parking and 1 small cat. Choice of two spare rooms.
Hi my name is Sam and I'm looking to move closer to Adelaide with hopefully some friendly roommates. My time is largely taken up by full-time work and going to the gym. I am a Bachelor of Commerce graduate and currently work at a Big 4 bank. I've been living out of home since 2012 with friends and family. I believe I'm very easy to live with and always ensure I am pulling my weight in terms of cleaning and purchasing amenities. I've always received positive feedback in cleaning inspections, never had issues paying rent on time or had issues with former roommates. Ideally I would be looking to live with someone who is easy going and up for a laugh. I have no problem living with people of any gender or couples as I am respectful of all people. Feel free to contact me as I'd be happy to talk further :)
Hey there! I'm currently living in Adelaide and my landlord plans to move into the unit in January. I have been in Adelaide for a year now, studying full time at UofA and working part time as a Dental Assistant. Very tidy person and not much of a cook, but i do try my best! Enjoy my own space but love a chat and a wine. Looking for a team up with one or two females, closer to the beach the better!
This lovely quiet two bedroom unit is one of nine units in the block (middle unit on top floor - 3rd floor) in a suburban street, just off Anzac Hwy. The available bedroom (unfurnished) has large BIRs, ceiling fan and carpeted floor. The shared bathroom includes shower, toilet and basin with storage. The lounge is furnished with sofas, TV, polished floor, reverse air-conditioning and ceiling fan. Good size modern kitchen with all appliances, plenty of cupboards and gas cooking. There is a communal laundry at the back of the building, $4 to wash, $2 for drier. There's a bus stop at the end of the street (2mins walk) and takes about 20mins to get to the CBD or 5mins to Glenelg Beach/shops etc. There's a few restaurants/take-away shops & a service station 5-10mins walk away. The tram stop is 10mins walk away. The electricity and water bills will be divided equally. I don't have wifi (I just use my phone internet). I do my own thing foodwise, but happy to share the occasional meal if both home.
I have a single unfurnished room available in a fully furnished 3 bedroom house. If needed I may be able to organise a bed if you are unable to bring your own. The room is situated on the East side of the property and takes advantage of the morning sun and a view of the backyard, it also includes a large built in robe and ducted reverse cycle air conditioning. The 3rd bedroom will be set up as a chill/study area, so there will be plenty of space if you enjoy some quiet time. As you can see from the pictures the house features a very retro, yet still very functional 70's kitchen, trust me the lime green grows on you over time. The property is located on a quiet court and next door to a park, giving an additional escape from the house if needed. Being only a 5 minute drive to Glenelg or 15 minute drive to the city, it is in a superb location for workers or students alike. The 167/168 bus route stop is only a 100m walk away. Whilst being very close to the airport, the property isn't on any direct flight paths, so you won't be bothered by any noise at all. While staying here you will also have access to a home gym setup (it's not fancy but does the job), a large back yard and entertaining area, unlimited access to internet, Netflix, and importantly, a coffee machine for the coffee lovers :) All of the bills are included in the rental price, including electricity, gas, water, contents and accidental breakage insurance, internet, and all house staples (cleaning/washing products, basic food supplies etc...) I'll take care of all garden maintenance, unless you have a green thumb and would enjoy helping out. Most importantly you will be sharing the house with a Swiss Shepherd, so being a dog lover is an absolute must, please also keep this in mind if you suffer allergies as the fluff tends to get everywhere!
Hi all, I'm Nicole. I am 27, work full time and study part time in the education sector which does not leave much time for a social life! I am highly self driven, ambitious and lover and nurturer of all things dear to me. I tend to keep to myself, work hard and enjoy a quiet night in on the couch with a nice glass of red on the rare occasion when my head is not buried in my books! I am clean, but not an obsessive neat freak, honest and reliable and am always willing to do my fair share of house duties - including the dreaded bathroom cleans! I have 2 beautiful King Charles Cavalier dogs who are 2 years old and come as part of the package so hopefully you love animals also. They are very well-behaved, de-sexed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, love kids and other animals.
Myself an Indian national with an Australian PR. I am into the Facilities Management industry and work as an Operations Manager. Will relocate soon to Australia.
Well, i'm currently unemployed but looking for a job, and i get youth allowance as i'm studying! Due to issues at home, i've decided i need to leave. My friend and I are both looking to find a place, (pet friendly as she has a cat). We're both laid back, humourous (i'm the sarcastic one) and we get along well with people! (the move date isn't legit, it just wouldn't let me leave it blank.)
Recently moved to Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. Not into clubbing every night or crazy house parties. Though I don't mind quiet dinners, minus the crazy mess. The only drink I enjoy is water. Non smoker and clean guy from Mumbai, India.
Hi future housemate! I am looking for a house to move into. It is exciting times for me as im moving into the next chapter of my life. I am hoping to find a great house/housemate to add to my exciting new changes. I am 26 year old and lived in 5 different countries. I have been living in Adelaide since 2004 and I have lived in several different share house, so I have got that down pack! I love to watch a movie or enjoy dinner together with my housemate but also enjoy my own relaxing time. I am an allied health professional working full-time hours and often not home (either having a brunch, or being a social butterfly or off to do social salsa dancing, which you are more than welcome to join me!) Please if you think you have the perfect house for me, don't hesitate to send me a message.
Hi, my name is Hilary :) I've been living in Melbourne for the past few years for uni, and am excited to be moving to Adelaide for work in mid-October! I'm looking for a nice share-house within commutable distance from the city, preferably somewhere with a bit of a backyard/garden to hang out in :) One small proviso is that I'll be doing some long shifts at work, and occasionally overnight, so preferably not a big party house! I've previously been in share houses in Melbourne, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I also value keeping things nice and tidy and contributing to the household :) In my free time I like cooking, bike riding, yoga and getting outdoors. If you're looking for a new housemate I'd love to hear from you!
Hi, I'm Jacob, I'm a friendly, easy going guy who has recently moved back to Adelaide from Melbourne for work. I work in the CBD fulltime and in my spare time like to play sport, go to gigs and socialise with friends. I'm a super clean and tidy guy who respects others space. My moving date is very flexible - I can wait as long or as little as needed.
My name is Lauren and I'm originally from Broken Hill Very down to earth and very sociable. I'm a senior consultant at Origin energy working mon-fri and in my spare time like to go to the gym, go out for dinner with friends and take my pup for walks and to the dog park. My partner Cameron is a full time carpenter who grew up in Adelaide. In his spare time also likes to train at the gym, plays 8ball, golf and ice hockey So safe to say we won't be home much!! We have a beautiful little puppy Arlo that we rescued from the RSPCA. He is currently doing puppy school so will grow up to be a very loyal loving dog. So who ever we move in with must love dogs :)
Employed on a casual basis but financially secure for the next year or 2 no matter what. Looking for a room to rent in a sharehouse with room for myself and the random, but necessary, bits and pieces I've picked up along the way. I have 2 pushbikes (they don't get the use they should but I can't get rid of them) and a couple of tool boxes namely that would be nice if they had lockable shed space. I also have a fridge that i'll sell if not before I shift soon after if not needed. Also I have my own bedroom furnishings. I'm originally from the Port Augusta area, but mostly sharehousing around Adelaide since I started my apprenticeship when I was 19 years old. I don't use my trade much in what I do at the moment but work is work. When work in Adelaide is slow I pick up some work for my dad on the sheep station he is manager of. I play mixed netball on Sunday evenings, the one regular social thing that keeps me from turning into a recluse. The owner of the house i'm in at the moment has started some renovations and I need to be out by the 23rd so the floors can be done the following week.
I have moved from Tasmania to South Australia at the beginning of this year. I am more than happy to clean, cook meals and be of great company. I am completing a Master's degree at UniSA - City East campus and spend most of my time at uni, so will not be at house very much during the day. During my 3 months lease, I will be on placement every day, therefore will only be around of a night and weekends. I also travel back to Tasmania for the occasional weekend, so may not always be around. Love pets, do not have any of my own but more than happy to live with others.
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
I am 24 year old female who I ready to leave the nest! I am working part time and currently studying full time so my life I fairly hectic at the moment. I am super chilled and fairly easy to get along with, I can be a little shy at first but that will eventually go and my weird side will come out haha. I am always down for a chat and a drink but also love my personal space, I like my space clean so would need to live in a clean household as well, I'm not ocd about this don't worry! I have a black cat named Trish (not my choice haha) who is the cutest little thang and everyone loves her, she mostly does her own thing but will come for pats every now and then. I would prefer to live near the beach but not too fussed and the place to have a reasonably sized backyard, I would also prefer and all female house (sorry boys) as I have never lived out of home and am more comfortable around females. Please feel free to message me as I need to get this show on the road and find a room!
Come join me in my cute and surprisingly spacious townhouse! It’s got two of everything that I’ve found great share accommodation needs, like two lockable carports, two shared courtyards and two shared living areas inside, so we can have a bit of space. Having said that, although I’m busy and not often there, I’d welcome a gasbag or debrief of the day after work, even sharing meals together when the planets align. The street is 7 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop and about 6 minutes drive to the shops, cafes and beach at Glenelg. Your bedroom has natural and morning light and is furnished with a queen bed which has an awesome chiropractic mattress, but I can store that if you have your own. There’s a separate laundry, a second toilet downstairs and also a powder room so you’ll be able to brush your teeth or do your hair, if the other person is in the bathroom using the (excellent) shower. • There’s gas cooking and continuous hot water. • Reverse cycle air conditioning (and BIRs) in each bedroom and the lounge downstairs. • I don’t have a microwave or TV by choice but not fussed if you BYO. • As you can see from the photos, the place is sparsely furnished so there’s room for your furniture if you have any pieces you’d like to bring. • I’m happy to share my unlimited Wi-Fi if you have your own devices. I’m looking for a friendly, social, tidy, respectful female preferably aged late 30’s to late 50’s (I’m 50). I prefer a peaceful, quiet start to the day so prefer not to have music going first thing, or breakfast radio or morning TV. I’m usually gone to my full time job by 8 am so after that is of course up to you! Non-smoking household and unfortunately we’re not allowed pets. I’d love to hear from you so please send me a message! :)
