(Only looking for new team ups, not existing room shares) Hey friends, I'm Lucy, I'm 20 years old and currently still living with my family Looking to move out within the next few months for more freedom and independence. (Don't be worried that if you were to get a house with me I'd be hit hard with reality and take off half way through the lease, because when I plan something, I stick to it, and this is me forever, or at least the amount of time I commit too) I work Monday to Friday in a Call Centre, work evenings and weekends part time, and work weekends doing Freelance Makeup. On weekends when I'm not working I party like most 20 year old's do. When at home, I like to lounge around either in my bed with Netflix, or on the couch with a good movie, which will most likely result in afternoon naps or dancing around the house with no pants on (I'll try to be fully dressed when your family comes over but no promises) In a roommate I'd be looking for someone like minded and respectful, it would be a huge plus to become friends aswel rather than just passing in the kitchen everyday (I can understand that becoming friends with your roommate can ruin things but I'd be determent to keep the divide) In a house I would be looking for something clean and low maintenance (not necessarily new but preferably new appliances) , would love a spare bedroom (which we can both use) for when friends need to stay, and a dishwasher for me is a must. (Nice bathtub also preferable for lush bath bombs!) I also wanted to mention first up, I have collected a lot of the furniture that would be required for the shared spaces in our home so I'm not too fussed (would actually be preferable) if you didn't have much furniture already, hence avoiding having double.
I am currently working and looking for place close to my work place. I prefer to have quiet and nice surroundings with good people around. I am fun loving person and keen for trying out new cuisine which is why cooking is my passion. Life gives you chances to meet new peoples so i enjoy living with different nationalities and exchanging new cultures too...
Im looking for a legend to rent the second room available at my apartment in Camden park. It's a 2 bedroom place which has recently been done up. Location is awesome. 5 mins to glenelg, 15 mins to the city... a bus stop out the front if that's your style. Place is great, lots of natural light and very clean. Great size kitchen to get your chef on. Lounge is a decent size which is fully furnished! Bathroom isn't massive but it's got what you need. Unfortunately no pets... as much I'd love a puppy the higher powers won't allow it. Honestly it's such a great place to call home and It will be great to share it with the right person.
Hiya. Myself and my best friend are seeking a third housemate to start a sharehouse with. we’re looking for places south of the city. My pal works at colonnades and will be studying education at flinders next year. I work in Rundle mall and study psychology at Magill. We’re both pretty easy going, super friendly, and clean. We hardly party, and if we do, it’s generally not at home. We have three very cute cats that love attention from anyone and are super friendly, we would prefer to find someone who doesn’t have any other fur babes. Our current budget is $140 each including bills and electricity. This would allow for a three bedroom place max $350. We won’t be looking to move til early December :)
I got a current International student tenant planning to move out his rented room as he needs to find a house for his family from overseas to join him in Adelaide. This room will be available after 20 December 2017. Room is $150/week with Free unlimited internet. Gas, electricity and water are included in the rent. The bus stop 14 is near the house and tram stop 11 is in the next street so there is not much worries about transport going to Uni/City and to popular Glenelg Beach. Anzac Hwy is very popular location due to many transportation options and many facilities available in the area. This is a big house with big room. Single bed, student desk, chair, wardrobe, electric fan, lockable cabinet for your important documents provided. We got 2.5 bathrooms and toilets, large kitchen (kitchen utensils provided), laundry with washing machine, 2 lounge areas, large veranda and gated property. We are government approved student accommodation and private lodging. We got house rules for the cleanliness of the property and privacy/security of tenants. Minimum 6 months.
I am a 25 year old female - recently moved to Glenelg from Victoria. I work full time in hospitality in Glenelg. I enjoy socialising, dogs, having fun and laughing. I am easy going and very clean and reliable.
I am 22 year old female that works full time and am looking for a room to rent around the Glenelg/ surrounding areas. I am a friendly and bubbly girl that enjoys socialising but also likes to relax on the couch and watch a movie. I have recently set some health and fitness goals, so I do a lot of meal prep and go to the gym around 5 times a week. I also enjoy cleaning but am not a neat freak in any way so having a dirty house will never be an issue. I am tidy and clean and I respect other peoples space aswell as property. Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions or have a listing that would suit what I am looking for.
Hi I’m Justin! I’m 25, I normally work part time but at the moment I’m working full time. I am also a student, studying aviation. I’m easy going and I’m a pretty clean and tidy person. I’m respectful of others and their belongings. I am pretty respectful when it come to wanting some space and some quiet time. I also enjoy a few drinks and movies on the weekend. If you have any questions feel free to call or text me. P.s I’m looking to move in as soon as possible.
Recently moved to Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. Not into clubbing every night or crazy drug parties. I enjoy house parties and movie nights. The only drink I enjoy is water. Non smoker and clean guy from Mumbai, India.
Myself an Indian national with an Australian PR. I am into the Facilities Management industry and work as an Operations Manager. Will relocate soon to Australia.
Hi there! We're pretty laid back to live with. We both enjoy gaming, a bit of netflix on lazy days and getting out to explore the city when the weathers nice. Bron is currently building a house and it's had some delays so it's all not lining up too well with her current lease. We are looking for somewhere somewhat short term. We can move in fairly soon, and currently would be looking to move out around march, assuming no more major building delays. We are both tidy people and are more than happy doing our fair share around the house, and we are looking for like minded people to live with. We don't need a furnished room as we have everything already, but if the room would be mostly furnished and it would be a pain to move we do have a storage unit too so wouldn't be a huge fuss to throw a few more things in there. I (Chris) currently work in mining on a 2:1 week roster so I'll only be around every third week until mid January when I will be starting a university degree in paramedic science. Bron works full time in the city as a dental assistant. If you have any further questions then feel free to send a message or give us a call, happy to clarify anything you need.
Hey, We are looking for a 3rd person to move into a new house early next year. As we are both relocating from rural areas to study at University we are hoping to find a house central to both universities (flinders and Magill) that is affordable and something we can call a home. We have rented before with other people so we know the boundaries and respect one another’s privacy. We are both very tidy people who love cooking and love the occasional night of wine with cheese and crackers. We also enjoy the quiet nights of movies and popcorn. Please don’t be shy to contact us :)
I'm clean and courteous. Passionate about cooking/baking, may or may not force you to eat my baked goods :)) Looking for some fun roommates to move in with down South, not too far from the city near a tram/train line. Also work in hospo, so I'll frequently be home late. 8)
I'm 27 and have been living in Adelaide for 4 months in Moana so I’m keen to move down the hill closer to everything. I’m looking for a friendly share house with housemates who are looking for friends and are keen to socialise. I work part-time as an analyst from home and I travel to Brisbane once a month to check in with my team up there. I’m also looking for a part time job in a cafe. I'm super laid back and I'm not high maintenance. I like having people around and i get along with anyone. I like wine, coffee, art and music in equal measure and am keen to explore all the cool places around this city and state. Let me know if you have any questions!
Time for a sea change! Originally from NZ... I'm moving to Adelaide from Brisbane. Looking for full time work. Love food and wine, cooking, anything 'arty' or creative, photography, camping, and travel to list a few things. Enthusiastic, sense of humour, get along readily with others and considerate. Happy for short or medium term flat share while I find my feet and learn more about the city. Excited about a new beginning in a new city with lots of possibilities! :-)
Looking for a new place to live or new housemates for myself and my extremely friendly and loving border collie :) I am a neat and clean freak, love to be social but love my downtime and privacy as well
Hi I'm James, 24, work full time. Tidy and considerate person. Lived with friends previously but moved back into my parents place while i went to Europe for 6 weeks, looking to move back out now. Looking to move west side of the city into an unfurnished room.
quiet, considerate, friendly. I am looking for a quiet place with good vibes. I am a non-drinker, so I'll be happy to share a cup of tea at the end of the day. I am sociable, up for having a chat but not as a must. I like to live in a clean environment, but don't keep tidying up obsessively. I like to do quiet things in my spare time, like reading, meditating, watching films with my headset on, so places where the TV is the central 'altar piece' in the house and is always on, don't really suit me.
Hi my name is Sam and I'm looking to move closer to Adelaide with hopefully some friendly roommates. My time is largely taken up by full-time work and going to the gym. I am a Bachelor of Commerce graduate and currently work in Finance in Adelaide CBD. I've been living out of home since 2012 with friends and family. I believe I'm very easy to live with and always ensure I am pulling my weight in terms of cleaning and purchasing amenities. I've always received positive feedback in cleaning inspections, never had issues paying rent on time or had issues with former roommates. Ideally I would be looking to live with someone who is easy going and similar age. I have no problem living with people of any gender or couples as I am respectful of all people. Feel free to contact me as I'd be happy to talk further :)
I am 19, lived in Adelaide for a year now with a couple friends but I think its time for me to experience something new so I am looking to move at the start of 2018! My room can sometimes get pretty messy but I don't slack off in any shared spaces because I know how annoying it can be when others do it haha At the moment I am studying makeup at TAFE in the city so somewhere close or easy to get public transport would be preferable and housemates that are willing to let me practice my makeup and tanning on them would be a plus! I am not currently working but I'm always applying for new jobs so any day now! In the meantime I am getting help from Centrelink to pay rent and bills and I haven't missed a week yet so don't let the unemployment scare you away haha In my spare time I usually study, or watch tv/netflix, I love a good chat around the house and housemates that could be friends is a big bonus I like to go out every now and then to have a few drinks I also have a small pet snake called Darling who mostly stays in his tank! Although if you are interested he can be handled without a fuss and I hold him all the time So if the snake isn't a deal breaker for you then send me a message! :)
I’m an easy going person that work full time in the power lines. I don’t smoke or do drugs. Im a clean person and tidy person that enjoy a quiet beer in the weekends. I’m currently in Townsville QLD. I’ll be looking around for a house to rent in this period so I can bring my partner and children down to Adelaide
Howdy, I'm currently studying primary education whilst working 20+ hours per week in Glenelg. I'm pretty social but certainly like to keep to myself quite a bit as well. Lover of all things sport (footy, soccer, cricket, tennis) and play footy in the Hills. Preferably looking for a short lease with potential to extend. Have a 4 year old female sausage dog who is house trained. When I'm out I generally take her to mum's house to look after so she won't be a burden on housemates. I'm quite desperate to find a place as my current lease is up so if you've got anything available, hit me up! Cheers
Returning to Australia after 20 years teaching abroad as an English teacher. Will be working at a university in Adelaide from February. I'm a considerate, easy-going guy who enjoys a chat and a shared meal sometimes but also know how to give others space when they need it. Not really a party animal, and prefer peace and quiet. Enjoy a good movie, cooking, swimming, reading and a glass of wine or beer every now and then. Living with people who are LGBT supportive would be a plus as well.
Hi my names Mia, I am an 18 year old full-time university student studying to be a Registered Nurse whom also works part-time. Moving from the country this year I am looking for a house with preferably female flatmates. I enjoy socialising, going out and catching up with friends but, also respect the need for personal boundaries and down time.
I am 24 year old female who I ready to leave the nest! I am working part time and currently studying full time so my life I fairly hectic at the moment. I am super chilled and fairly easy to get along with, I can be a little shy at first but that will eventually go and my weird side will come out haha. I am always down for a chat and a drink but also love my personal space, I like my space clean so would need to live in a clean household as well, I'm not ocd about this don't worry! I have a black cat named Trish (not my choice haha) who is the cutest little thang and everyone loves her, she mostly does her own thing but will come for pats every now and then. I would prefer to live near the beach but not too fussed and the place to have a reasonably sized backyard, I would also prefer and all female house (sorry boys) as I have never lived out of home and am more comfortable around females. Please feel free to message me as I need to get this show on the road and find a room!
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
