Hello! I am a 37 year old female looking for a lovely, drama-free place to live in Brisbane, by the end of September! (Please note, I cannot move until my lease expires in September. Cheers) I would prefer to share with like minded people who are between 35-45 years old, and enjoy a peaceful life! I currently work in retail, and I am also an Art Therapist. I enjoy creative endeavours and gardening, so some space for these pleasures would be essential to my survival! I have spiritual/new age interests which makes for a meaningful, quirky and fun life at times. I also enjoy bushwalking, op shopping, camping and kayaking. I would like to have my own cat. This is very important and I cannot stress this enough. LOL. A pet friendly place please! (Please note: I'm not looking for a tiny cupboard-sized room or a converted sunroom.... its just not my thing. Cheers) I think I am good to live with because I am considerate, respectful and self aware; funny, friendly but I also like my alone time; I always pay rent on time. I am quiet, but not anti social, and like a harmonious living environment. Not sure what else to say! My current lease ends at the end of September, so lets get on with it! Hope to meet you soon! *Genuine responses only, and please have a current listing of your place/space for me to peruse*
Looking for a nice group of people that can also respect privacy. I love cooking and am clean for a guy. Love the beach, reading, photography, music, sport. Grew up with 2 sisters and mostly female cousins so am used to living with girls. Working Full Time a number of jobs whilst getting my own business started. Looking inner city and preferably south of CBD, i.e New Farm, Newstead etc. Would prefer a house but am not overly fussed.
I’m a 23 year old heavy diesel mechanic who does field service all around South Brisbane. I definitely don’t mind a beer at all, I spend most of my afternoons and weekends skateboarding. Don’t mind spinning a yarn. Super cruisy dude, easy as and not much can get me down.
I'm pretty chilled person guy, very clean and tidy. I have a part time job which I work during most week days. In my spare time I love a good netflix binge, or going out on adventures with hiking or to the beach. Also play a bit of touch and do indoor rock climbing. I like to keep myself busy.
Fitness enthusiast and busy professional. I work in the Fortitude Valley and trains at Goodlife 4-5 days a week therefore I’ll be spending very little time at home during the week. (If you ever catch me home, you’ll most likely find me in the kitchen -bonus points if you have a blender!) I’m easy-going and highly approachable (not before my morning coffee) who enjoys cheese and wine on a Friday. However I value my own personal space from time to time especially after a long day at work. Weekend mornings is when I would usually do my chores, run some errands and sometimes go out and be social later during the day/night.
My name is Dee, Kiwi social worker looking for an easy and relaxed place to live. Work in the CBD as a shift worker -12-10pm. I am a very easy going person who is respectful, and clean. Just looking for similar people.
Super easy going guy. I have high respect for the space and belongings of others. I like keeping things clean and tidy. I work full time as a baker working day time hours and weekends. I have a large passion for music production and a hungry to start working within the audio industry. I also enjoy getting outdoors. Surfing, skating, fishing and camping. Video game are also enjoyed from time to time
From London, England. I have travelled all over the world and have now found a job that I love in Brisbane, working with children. I plan on staying in Brisbane longer after gaining sponsorship. I’m fun, outgoing, but also enjoy time to myself too. Looking forward to meeting new people!
Heya :) (Really important - i have a dog that needs a yard and a fence please) I'm working full time as a Sonographer and am completing my studies this semester (quietly fist pumping the sky!!!). My partner lives South and I work North side so me and my 3yr old Staffy are looking for somewhere in the city to call home for a while! When I'm not working or studying, I'm walking Kio (my dog), doing something active or seeing friends and family. I keep things tidy, I'm considerate of your space but I would be happy to hang out and chat, and somehow I always manage to gravitate to the kitchen and clean!
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 study, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. There are many outside seating areas, grass and attempted gardens. Buses to the city are close by and a complex with a Woolworths is just on the corner. The room will be $170 a week with internet included. Bond is $660 The electricity and gas is split quarterly.
We have a huge fully furnished room available now in a brand new, air conditioned house at Camp Hill The room has a Queen bed, chest of drawers, small desk and a large, mirrored, built in robe. Or you can bring your own bed if you prefer. The rent is $170 per week. We all also put in an extra $10 per week, (just in the Summer months) to cover the use of the ducted air conditioning system. Water, Wi Fi internet, Foxtel are all supplied FREE!! Excellent location just metres from a bus stop on a major transport route. Buses run every couple of minutes to the City or Westfield Carindale. Only 15 minutes from Brisbane airport, 7 klm from Brisbane CBD and 1.5 klm from Carindale shopping centre. This is a clean, quiet, home with quality furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Oh, and we have a couple of cute puppies too, so you have to be happy to share with them as well. Cheers, Peter
This isn't my first rodeo, I've been sharing for around 5 years now. I know the in's & out of making a good roommate so I am looking for the same. I'm studying aviation & am very rarely home. When i am however i enjoy food, coffee & a quiet drink.
I have two rooms available in a 3 bed 2 bath unit in Camp Hill. It’s on the bottom level so we have our own entry, yard and two patios. Westfield Cardinale is 5 mins down the road and there are plenty of bus stops to the city within walking distance. Both rooms are about the same size have built in closets and are big enough to fit queen bed and desk. You'll be sharing the bathroom with one other housemate. There is also ducted aircon to get you through queenslands summer! The reason for the $5 price difference is one room will come with a lock up, undercover car park if you don’t want to park your car on the street. I love to keep my environment generally tidy and clean so It’s important everyone cleans up after themselves and to avoid any confusion or arguments there is a cleaning roster rotating weekly for main jobs :) Water and electricity bills are split evenly every quarter and unlimited internet is $20 a month.
I am Australian but have been living in the USA and Italy for many years...I have come home to assist my elderly parents as they have both been ill and have extended my stay to be close to them while they recover. My stay here in Australia is almost over and as my housemate has sold her place I need a new place until I leave to go back to Italy. I am super easy going... I visit my parents frequently, I enjoy markets and exploring new areas, sometimes eating out but I mostly cook my meals at home. I like to watch movies or spend time chatting with friends online who are mostly overseas ...pretty normal stuff really. I have a part time job at Carindale to keep me occupied. I don't smoke or drink. I like a clean and tidy home. No party houses please. I am respectful, clean and live healthy. My budget is 150 per week including bills and internet and furnished rooms only please.
There is a generous open plan living and dining room, separate good-sized modern kitchen, modern bathroom with shower over tub and separate toilet which works easily for flatmates. The property has a large split-system A/C unit and ceiling fan in the central living area. Both bedrooms have built in robes and are on opposite sides of the building. • 5kms to CBD • 5kms to Westfield Carindale • Bus is walking distance • Cafes, restaurants and beauty services all walking distance • Park across the road • Leafy outlook, quiet cul-de-sac location
Searching for: - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms - Up to $250 if some storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
This house is a quite new, a great size and in a fantastic location! It is fully furnished (other than your room) and available now. It is a two story townhouse with ducted airconditioning, ceiling fansn, large kitchen, outdoor courtyard and two living areas. The bedroom is a single but might fit a double and includes a built in robe. It has it's own cute balcony and lovely sliding doors. The bathroom has a tub (yay) which you will share with two other people. The house is on a very quiet street located minutes from a bus station to take you wherever you need to go. Street parking is never an issue and you'll be able to get one right outside the house. Coles/woolies located a couple minutes away. Bills are not included in rent. We pay 20/month each for NBN internet and we split the electricity bill quarterly.
