Hey, I'm an APS graduate looking for a new place since my lovely current housemates are both coupling up. :'( I'm originally from Melbourne, living in Lyneham (which I love) and would love to stay within ~30 minute cycling distance of work in NewActon. As a housemate I'm very friendly, considerate and reasonably tidy. I keep very busy, but I love a friendly housemate debrief at the end of the day. I'm vego but I don't care what other people cook or eat. I've lived in sharehouses for many years with great friendly/respectful vibes and I'd love to find that again in my next place. I come with a very cute and well behaved 9 year old Maltese x Cavalier doggo. She mostly keeps to herself but will be your best friend once she gets to know you. I know some landlords are reluctant to accept pets, but she is a wonderful tenant, doesn't shed and comes with great references from my current and previous properties. I'm flexible on my move dates. I'm looking for somewhere any time in the next 2 months - but for the right place, I'll make it work. Hoping to hear from anyone who thinks their place might be a good fit!
Hi, I'm Taylor. I work full-time at a consulting firm here in Canberra. I moved to Canberra in 2016 and have really taken to it. I spend a lot of my time at work and travel semi-frequently. In my spare time, I play guitar and keyboard (through headphones!) and read. Looking for a place in the inner north or south. My move date isn't by any means fixed.
My name is Ahmed Mohammed, I'm 31 years old. I work as an assistant lecturer at my home University in Egypt. In the same time I'm an international PhD student at ANU, I study molecular biology at JCSMR. I'm a very quiet, clean, non smoking and tidy person. Currently, I live in Dickson and l'm in an urgent need for a long term accommodation close to my work place.

I will most likely be out of the house a lot for filming and all that. I'm a massive pop culture lover so i am very different from a lot of people, i love K-POP and anime and all that fun stuff. Would like to be a housemate with someone who likes K-POP and i can get along with well. Live in the heart of the bustling, culture filled CBD of Canberra* with access to rapid public transport services and fine dining food options like McDonald's. The apartment is mostly furnished. The housemate moving out will be taking a few pieces so there is an opportunity to mix and match. The current house mate is also willing to sell his entire bedroom suite if you are someone who doesn't currently have furniture or is looking to upgrade let us know! This apartment is split over two levels with a huge kitchen/living area with modern amenities that opens up to a massive balcony overlooking the city, 2.5 bathrooms and a free on-site gym! Your room is the second bedroom and has sweeping views of the St George building so you can enjoy the concrete jungle in blissful peace. Bills are split evenly down the middle, paid on a quarterly basis and rent is paid fortnightly. We do have an underground car park, however this is currently rented out by someone for $30 a week so the gas and electricity bill is usually $30 a QUARTER each after using the funds from that. RIGHT. THAT'S CHEAP AF?! You're basically saving money. *bustling, cultured filled Canberra CBD not guaranteed. If you have any questions or want to discuss furniture options please do not hesitate to get in contact :) Lauren and Jack.
We are a young couple from Newcastle and we are moving to Canberra for work at very short notice. We urgently require short-term accommodation until we can get settled in and find our own place. We would like to move in preferably no later than the beginning of June. Our preferred length of stay is around 2-3 months but we can be flexible with this. Elliott (22 y.o.) - Public servant and Clark Kent look-alike; currently working as a research assistant and finishing the last semester of a commerce degree via distance. Michelle (27 y.o.) - Recently completed a B.A. in politics and international relations; moving to Canberra to work and study at ANU. • We are mature, respectful, and clean up after ourselves. • We're sociable and easy to get along with, but we also appreciate having our own space. • We'll be working full-time hours Monday-Friday and studying during nights/weekends, so we're looking for housemates who are quiet and considerate, especially during the evening. (We don't mind sharing with other students as long as it's not a noisy 'party house' type environment). • We're not adverse to hanging out occasionally — it would be nice to know some locals who can show us around the city and recommend things to see/do in Canberra :) • Hoping to find a room that's already furnished because we'll need time to acquire our own furniture. A queen bed would be ideal because all of our sheets, quilts etc. are queen size (and Elliott is probably too tall to sleep on anything smaller). • We'll need parking space (Elliott has a car and I plan to bring mine down from Newcastle in the near future, too). • I'll be relying on public transport for at least a few weeks, so accommodation located reasonably close to public transport is a must. • We would prefer to have our own bathroom/ensuite (if possible) but we're not in a position to be too fussy. • Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is essential.
Recently moved to Canberra to work in the public service. Finishing my degree by distance. Need short term accommodation, preferably around the 2 to 3 month range. Clean and tidy; like to keep my space squared away. Prefer my own space but not adverse to hanging out. New to Canberra, so unfamiliar with the area, wouldn't mind a guide to the city and surrounding areas.
I'm a very clean person, maintain a tidy environment as I truly believe if you have a clean environment you have a clean mind. Have a beautiful dog named Jeda who is a 6 year old Staffy X. (currently in Adelaide) I am waiting for the right house so that I can bring her over! My diet is Vegetarian and I meal prep throughout the weeks. Although I do enjoy a relaxing afternoon, I am very active with rollerblading, walking my dog and just general adventuring! There is a lot more about me, so send me a message. Thank you, Molly D. :)
Hallo! I am a 25-year-old from Missoula, Montana who is about to start a Masters degree in July and working for LexisNexis in the Press Gallery at Parliament. I had lived in Canberra for about 3.5 years and am coming back after a long trip back home. I am independent, reliable and respectful. I love meeting new people, traveling and a solid wine and cheese night vibe. I also like to stay busy and am mindful of other people's need for personal space. Would love to become part of a house that is reasonably tidy but relaxed! In my free time, I teach dance at a local dance studio, volunteer with a group I co-founded that focuses on outreach to the homeless community of Canberra and like to get around some fun activities with friends. Thanks for your consideration!

Moving to Canberra for a new job after having worked in the field of humanitarian protection for five years, I am a pretty well travelled and laid back guy who loves a good chat but I also keep myself busy with various interests - these include travel, the outdoors, study, music, culture and sport... etc. I am independent, respect privacy and cleanliness. Ideally I would like to live with professionals who are also laid back and open minded.
Hi, I am a current PhD Student at ANU. I am very social, fun-loving and willing to make new friends. And, more importantly, I would say I am too clean and tidy. I love cooking and also enjoy cleaning and housework. I am looking for a room in a house, preferably close to the university with no pets. Thank you.
