A Swedish student looking for accommodation in Canberra while finishing a master degree in International Security. Non-smoking, hard studying and generally very happy. I go well with most people and put most of my time to studying while occasionally go for a beer and a work out. Easy to live with as most of my time is spent in libraries. Quiet, as is in my Swedish nature, and clean and organised even though I do not care about other peoples ways of being. I do not mind smokers and I like pets and music!
Melbournian here moving to Canberra to work in professional services around early March. In my spare time, I’m equally as happy to chill over a glass of wine/cup of coffee or go on random adventures with my friends. I've lived in a few share houses now so I 'get' housemate etiquette and know how to keep a place tidy. Looking for easy going housemates that doesn't mind the occasional communal dinner/drinks but also respect privacy.
Hi! I am a 4th year ANU law student. I have just returned from a semester abroad. I work part time and study full time. I am an independent, laid back, adaptable and social person. I have lived in shared housing for 3 years and understand the necessities of living with others. I am clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I enjoy home cooking, a good chat and an occasional drink. I have an extensive knowledge of films and many other interests especially travelling and photography. My parents live 2 hours away on a farm, that produces lots of organic goods! I am looking to share with either a male or female. I will have a car so public transport accessibility is not essential but preferred.
Im Amy, I'm 21 years old and about to start my third year at the ANU (: I'm looking for a laid-back but tidy house, and would love to be living with people who are happy to be mates and have a chat, come on a coast-trip or to accompany me on a late-night Kmart run. Obviously though time alone is also super important and I am understanding and respectful of that. I'm completely happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send me a message any time (:
I've just moved from Sydney to Canberra to study at ANU this year, and am currently staying with family while I look for accommodation. I'm ready to move now but am flexible with my moving date. I'm a pretty mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am always up to attend live games/watch matches on telly. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
Hi! My name is Matt I'm a 2017 APS grad working at the Australian National Audit Office in the social services branch. I've been in Canberra for a little while now and really like it! I'm looking to move into a two-bedroom unit and need a buddy to team up with :) I'm a very clean/tidy and house-proud person and would appreciate a flatmate with the same values. I'm looking to move somewhere in the outer suburbs (which in Canberra means a 15-20min drive to the city lol). The units in the outer suburbs tend to be brand new and less than $500 a week I'm very friendly and have all the furniture and appliances needed so please get in touch if you're interested!
Hey guys, My partner and I are looking for accommodation from around mid february. I'm Laearna, a 24 yr old mechanical engineer relocating for work and Will is a 24 yr old naval architect who i am dragging along with me. He who works remotely for a company in NZ. We are friendly people who like to laugh, get outdoors for adventures, spend nights out with friends or stay in with a drink cooking up something delicious. We are clean, respectful and easygoing housemates and have both lived together and in share houses before. We would ideally like to team up with another couple or some friends and find a place to lease together but would also happily slip into an existing share house if someone was willing to take us. Please get in touch if you think we would get along :)
Hi, we are a family of 3, with a little and shy boy of 4 years. I am an engineer and my wife is a teacher. We are arriving on our permanent resident visa and need a place to order our stay in Canberra, and settle down. Actually we live in a shared house in Christchurch, new Zealand, so we are used to share the bed with our son.
I'm a chilled, career-focused and happy guy. I'm 29 and will be working in the public sector. I'm respectful of space and also enjoy housemate hangs. I'm into camping, the outdoors, occasional cooking and gym. Keen to find a housemate or two to move in with around City, Braddon, Turner, Reid, and Acton. Feel welcome to text/email me :)
One of your best housemates garenteed; even a new good mate 😁😁 Respectful, reliable and honest. Really easy going, fun and down to earth. Moving from Jindabyne nsw
21, fourth year of Law/Science/Languages at ANU. Work part-time and on a generous scholarship. Very independent and super busy, but still keen to socialise with new housemates! Very tidy, extremely reliable and highly organised (especially when it comes to finances). Not a bad cook, proactive about getting stuff done around the house, and an all-round decent person. Looking to move in somewhere ASAP!
Hi All, I'm Pat and I am recent Civil Engineering graduate. I completed my studies in Wollongong but I have found myself a full time grad position in Canberra. I am looking to move into a room in a share house (preferably an already established one). The office I will be working out of is located just to the south of Fyshwick. If I could find a place that is close to that, it would be ideal. During my time at uni I lived in shared accommodation both on campus (for my first three years) and in private rentals (for the past year and a half). I am 22 years old and like to think of myself as a pretty laid back guy who clean, tidy and respectful. When I am not working I enjoy going to the gym, playing sport and hanging out with mates. I start work on the 28th of February so I would ultimately be trying to find a place by the 10th of March at the latest. Anyway if you have a room and think I will be a good fit for this room don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers, Pat.
Hi I'm Emmet, I'm a 26 yo guy from the south of Ireland who moved to Canberra in February of 2016. I was here for 6 months before I left to do regional work for a second visa which I'm now on, and came back just before Christmas. I''m working for a company in Tuggeranong doing data entry and admin 7-3 Monday to Friday. I'm a sociable sort, who likes to have conversations and discussions with people, but I am equally fond of some private quiet time away from people. Same as most people I guess. I left the Irish military to come here, so I'm fairly clean and tidy around a house, if not quite so much in my room because let's face it, we all have "the chair" for our clothes! Anything else that you'd like to know about me, just fire away, but don't ask about potatoes, leprechauns, or if I'm always drunk. You have been warned! P.s, I absolutely love dogs.
I’m 25 years young male , responsible and tidy, full-time business owner, with most weeknights spent at sports training. In my free time, I enjoy to spend time outside, skydiving, reading and watching movies. I’m generally a quiet person, however am more than happy to have a chat, dinner or drink! Cool with dogs and other animals. I moved to Australia from Estonia 5 years ago, and am open-minded, very clean and tidy and helpful with household duties. I have a strong rental history, clean up after myself and pay rent on time. Looking for long term rent , healthy smiles and mellow attitude . Give me a call or text Thanks , Sven
Hello, I am a 24-year-old who is moving to Canberra to begin a graduate program with the APS. I'm looking for a centrally-located room and am keen to share with housemates who are friendly and would enjoy socialising, but are also fine with having their own space and time to themselves. I am easy to get along with and enjoy exercise, food, travelling, and ABC programs. I am not at all familiar with Canberra, so am looking forward to exploring when I arrive.
Hi future flate-mate! I recently moved to Canberra to join the public service and am looking for somewhere I can hang my hat at the end of everyday. I'm generally quiet on weeknights, occupying myself by either reading, gaming or catching up on TV; and I enjoy socialising with friends on weekends. If you're looking for someone who can cook, clean, assemble furniture and fix almost any IT problem that could happen at home, then I'm your guy.
I'm a girl from China with good living habit, no smoking, no pets. Also, I'm good at cooking for some delicious Chinese food. What's more, I'm a postgraduate in ANU, so if you are also studying in ANU, that 's really great. I'm looking for one bedroom near ANU, prefer female roommates. If you have suitable room, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you.
I'm originally from Sydney and moved to Canberra for uni - stayed for a job (but I have done stints in New York and Wellington). I'm a 28 year old professional with a love of top 40 music, Homeland and nice food.
Hey future flatmate! I'm Noora, a full time worker on my twenties looking for a room close to Civic at least for the next six months, probably even longer. I would also be willing to start a share house or flat if you happen to be looking for a place as well. I am originally from Finland, I've lived in Canberra for just under a year now and I really like the place. I work as a full time chef in a restaurant located in city. Needless to say, I love cooking and good food and this is something to share with my flatmates as well. Outside work I enjoy training aikido, yoga and other exercise, as well as just hanging out at home watching tv series. My other big interest is traveling. I would describe myself as a tidy and respectful housemate and fairly relaxed person who enjoys good company and occasionally having a drink with friends. If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to ask and if this sounds like something you 'd like to live with I would love to meet you in person. Cheers, Noora

I am looking for temporary accommodation in Canberra to undertake an internship with the AIIA (finishing in late June). I am tidy and considerate and happy doing my own thing, but also keen to have house dinners or watch TV together every so often if that is something you also enjoy. Addicted to coffee and happy to bring you one too.
Hey! I'm a future ANU student from regional QLD looking for a place in/around Canberra to move into in march/April or May. I'm quiet, tidy, energetic yet easygoing, bubbly and friendly. I'm also a personal trainer and I absolutely love animals and puns! I have one little shy grey indoor cat, who I would love to accompany me on my move if possible, but I understand if that's not possible. I'm keen to either move into a room, sharehouse, homestay or find someone to rent a flat with. Please message me if you want any more details!
Hi, I'm 23 years old moving from Perth for a government graduate position in Canberra. I'm a very clean and quiet person to live with, but I also enjoy going out and meeting new people every now and then. I'm really easy to get along with and I've never had any issues with previous roommates. Some things I love include reading, video games, hiking, most sports, and travelling (Lived in China for 8 months).
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who dabbles in writing, performing and counselling. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was in Mort St Braddon was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
I'm a student currently studying education at UC. I work Monday to Thursday afternoons as a nanny in the Gungahlin area. I'm friendly and tidy and have lived in share houses before. Looking for a team-up with someone who will do their share of house work and is easy to get along with. I spend my spare time playing videogames and watching cartoons and would love to socialize over a few drinks.
