Looking in: Turner, O'Connor, Canberra, Belconnen

I'm an ANU student searching for a place to stay for myself and my friend Rosie. We're looking for anything with two bedrooms, and are keen to possibly do a share-house and meet some new people. In addition to studying we both work hospitality jobs, and generally pretty busy. We're quiet and clean, but always down for a chat. We are responsible with meeting rent deadlines and pitching in equally to household chores, and would love to move in with someone similar. We have a budget of around $200 (inc. utilities) each maximum, depending on location.

Hi, I am a relaxed, quiet and friendly person to live with. I like to be able to have a nice chat with my housemates, do the odd thing together like grab a coffee/dinner or go on a hike, but also have the freedom to live our own lives. I am looking to either move into an existing home or find and set up a place with another person. I'm not too worried about location, as long as it's in the ACT. I'd like somewhere looking for a long term housemate, at least 12 months but if you want to say 6 months initially to see how we go then thats fine. I like a clean house, I'll normally wipe the kitchen bench down whilst the kettles boiling, do my washing up right after I've eaten, vacuum regularly etc. I'm not someone who will be jumping up and down if you're not the same though, if the sink isn't left piled up for days on end I'm happy :). I love mowing the lawn, I'm not much of a gardener but happy to give it a go or be assistant for someone with a green thumb. I work close to full time hours, starting at 7am and finishing normally around 2pm. After work you will either find me at my desk working on 'a project', on the exercise bike or off on a hike/walk at one of Canberra's mountains, or reading a book. I'm keen to try out new hobbies, so if you're looking for a housemate who can go on the odd adventure with you, or wants to try something creative, that's me! I'm not an entertainer, so I wouldn't have groups of friends coming around, and my partying days are behind me. Getting old. I don't smoke or do drugs, I don't drink either but I'll happily enjoy a coffee or coke whilst you enjoy a few beers. I'm in a nice place at the moment with a couple who are friends, however unfortunately it may not be able to continue longer term, so I'm seeing what is out there. I'm not in a rush to move elsewhere, but I can move quickly if I find the right place. Looking forward to meeting my potential future housemates, feel free to send through any questions you have, and I'm happy to meet up for a coffee.

Hi there! My name is Raina from South Korea. I am going to start a Master's degree at ANU in July, which means I have to move into your place at least 7 days in advance of the university start date (approx. July 20). I hope to find a good place where I can study hard and make lovely friends!

Hi, I'm Lauren and I'm currently seeking some long-term accommodation that is relatively close to ANU. I've lived on campus at ANU before and have lived in Indonesia for 2 years in share houses. I have deferred semester 1 2019 but am wanting to go back into semester 2 this year. I study a Bachelor of Asia-Pacific studies majoring in Indonesian and am hoping to find some like-minded individuals who are easy going and tidy :)) In my spare time I enjoy socialising, having the occasional drink or 2, or even binge watching some netflix. Although I often love a good chat, I am of a fairly quiet-nature and am respectful of the privacy of others. Let me know if you think we'd make a good household!
