My name is Chaniago, 24 years old. I'm an Indonesian international postgraduate student at ANU. I'll be moving up to Canberra in February. I'm looking for any kind of accommodation. I'm pretty tidy, chilled out, love a good chat and am considerate. Thanks.
Hey yo! Joel here! I'm originally from Malaysia and am looking for a place for me to settle for at least one year while I get my masters done. I'm studying Masters in International Law in the ANU. I will also be working and studying to be admitted into court. Hence, I will be fairly busy in 2017. In terms of being a flatmate, the thing I value most is cleanliness - I like keeping things tidy and clean, especially the bathroom. I respect privacy and hope to receive the same. Having said that, I am a rather social person. I love the idea of sharing a conversation over a meal, or even perhaps doing something interesting over the weekend. I'm pretty open minded and respect diversity in any form. I may occasionally sing in the shower though, so I guess that is something to be aware of. =)
Hey, I'm moving back to Canberra after a year travelling in South America (and I'm not looking forward to another Canberra winter!). I'm looking for a share house in the the northern suburbs, or to team up and rent a place close to the city centre. I work in government, am tidy and enjoy relaxing with housemates over a glass of wine after work. I am usually out and about during the weekends, heading to the markets and catching up with friends. If you have a place available or are interested in renting a sharehouse let me know! Thanks, Kathleen
I'm an APS grad and my girlfriend and I are both good cooks, love movie nights and drinking tea. We are relatively quiet and neat but enjoying sharing meals with our housemates. We have both lived out of home before and bring a lot of furniture and appliances to our next household. I am originally from Launceston and we are making the move from melbourne for work. Our hobbies include gaming, yoga, gardening, baking and searching for the best Japanese food in town.
I am a friendly and adventurous person who prefers quiet Friday nights at home. I like to keep spaces, especially common areas, clean and presentable. I am respectful of others' privacy, the way I like mine to be treated, but am also up for chats over dinner and hanging out. I'm also a big dog lover, having 3 of my own (but they won't be moving with me). I'll be moving from Sydney to Canberra for work in 2017, so it'll definitely be an experience moving away from home. I love being out in nature, hiking and exploring new places. I have a huge soft spot for food, so I like trying out new and different cafes. I also enjoy spending time with friends and getting to know people. In my own time, I like to write, read, play music, and watch TV shows :)
I am a bubbly 21 year old who was born and bred in Canberra, currently working part time while studying. I am looking to move into another share house/apartment as my lease has with my current housemate. I am a very clean person and enjoy cooking and keeping active as well as being social with friends. I enjoy spending time around Canberra and am keen on being able to make new friends. Although being extremely social I appreciate the need for personal time and space and as someone who both studies and works I also understand the need for me time! I am excited and happy to meet with people who have rooms for rent around the city/central Canberra due to work location :)
Mature age lady very quiet and tidy Full time job ,away most weekends. Love animals ,would love to have my well behaved mini dachshund with me but she can stay with my daughter. Get along well with people of all ages ,open minded .
Hey, I currently work at The Canberra Hospital, and am in the final 2-3 months of completing my paid internship. I am looking for a temporary accomodation, until mid-feburary. I am someone who is fun, friend and easy to get along with. However, i am someone who is also respectful of others and am okay with personal/alone time.
Heya! I'm looking for a centrally located room in Canberra, as I'll be relocating for work in January and I'm keen to organise something in advance. I'm friendly, easygoing, but considerate and respectful of others' spaces. I won't leave my dishes in the sink, and I've been working overseas for the past year so I won't fill your house full of stuff! I like running, tv & movies, eating out, second hand shopping, markets, and I've newly-discovered a love of cooking. Hoping to find something long-term, so shoot me a message if you think you have a room that'd suit!
Hi there, My name is Anna and I am 22 and moving to Canberra to study at ANU postgrad next year. I am looking for accommodation hopefully within walking or cycling distance of the ANU main campus. I'm pretty easy to live with, and although I study a fair bit I enjoy a social environment- eg. Meals with housemates/ the occasional bev. Would prefer a non smoking household.

Hey guys! I'm 23 years old and have lived in Canberra for one year. I'm currently completing my Masters of National Security at ANU part-time and working full-time as an Associate in a government relations consulting firm. I'm super laid-back, love meeting new people, and am very respectful of privacy and space. I also love going out to dinner, grabbing brunch and having a good time!
Looking for someone who is willing to stay from February 2017 until at least the end of December (11 months), with an option to continue. About the apartment: - Waldorf Apartments, right across the street from Canberra Centre in CIVIC. You can't get any more convenient than that! - Central location; 3 mins walk to the city centre, 20 mins walk to ANU, 20 mins walk to Lonsdale Street, Braddon. - Bus stops right at the apartment's doorstep. - Water and gas included; not electricity. - Fully furnished bedroom with large study desk, chair, built in wardrobe and mirrors; just come in with your person and your bags and you're all set! (except for doona, pillows and blankets) - Dual aircon/heating; dishwasher; dryer; washing machine included. - Shared bathroom. - Communal living space fully furnished, but open to changing it up if you also have furniture options. Kitchen has most of the necessary appliances and utensils as well. - The apartment will always be kept relatively clean. - Unlimited WiFi internet available. - Parking space available (underground and ground floor); visitors parking for guests available. - Comes with a small apartment gym (one treadmill, some light weights, a multi-purpose weight machine, rows). - No smoking, no pets - Open to female or male housemate --------------------------------------------- About me: - I’m a research assistant working full-time at the ANU. - I’m gay, easy-going, friendly and tidy. - I'm a night owl so during the weekends I will be up pretty late (like till 5am late), but all I'm doing is be on the computer so I'm quiet. However, I may rustle up some midnight snacks in the microwave which can get pretty loud, so if you are a light sleeper tell me and I will adjust accordingly. - Likes: - Working out/gym. I go pretty much everyday. - Watching TV marathons. Game of Thrones and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are my greatest loves, but I love watching TV of all kinds. - Geeky stuff like X-Men, and fantasy, sci-fi and comic books. - Pop culture in general. - Travelling. -I occasionally dine out, but usually I will cook at home (or at least heat up a roast chicken from Superbarn). I'm not a great cook by any means but I will wash dishes and clean the kitchen till the cows come home. So if you're a good cook but are too lazy to clean up you have me to pick up the slack! -MOST IMPORTANTLY, I am respectful of people's privacy and their individual space. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions in regards to the apartment or myself. Looking forward to hearing from you! Jim
Hi! Im Bec, I'm a friendly, outgoing full-time public servant who has lived in Canberra since Jan 2016. I like being outdoors, busy and social, but also enjoy having some down time! Hoping to find housemates who want a social house. Happy to live with one person or a few, eager to live close to the city (north side preferably) and move in asap.
Hello! I'm a 28 year old male public servant looking for a room long-term in the Inner North. Looking to share with public servants/professionals/postgrads. I'm a friendly, easy-going sort of person who has lived in a couple of different share houses and knows the importance of keeping common areas clean and respecting other people's space. I'm fairly busy and am out and about a fair bit. But I definitely think it's important to get to know the people I'm sharing my home with and I'd be keen to live with people who like to hang out for a meal or a drink sometimes. Looking forward to hearing from you! Lawrence
Hi my name is Cassandra(Cassie) and I'm a 27 year non smoker. I work full time in admin and enjoy spending my spare time in the gym or exercising outside. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle but don't mind the occasional wine or beer. I consider myself a pretty good cook and I make a pretty good cheese cake too :) I do have cats that are litter trained and used to being inside.
Moving to Canberra from Newcastle to start a full time public service position. I'm a laid-back person who likes warm food and chilling out with some good TV. I enjoy a cold cider after a long day and am sociable but also am happy to have my own space.
Current landlord has decided to sell their house, so looking for somewhere new to live. I am a 23-year-old Law student at UC; I also work part time. So busy during the semester, but have a tendency always to find the time for a drink and chat. I am hoping to move into a house with good people who enjoy each others company, but at the same time don't live on top of each other.
I like to keep my house clean and uplifting. This also means I'm looking for people with a good sense of the estate, respect, care and humour. Apart from this, I've got a car and an ample amount of living room furniture.
Hey my name's Luke and I'm 19, studying Pharmacy full-time at UC and working on the side. I play guitar and skateboard in my spare time also. However my main hobby is my car. Overall I'm a fun-loving, easy-going and hard-working guy and I'm sure I'll be easy to get along with whoever I end up living with. It might be worthwhile to note that I would prefer a place to park my car if possible.
Hey future flatmate! I'm Noora, a 21-year-old girl from Finland. I'm currently looking for a room close to Civic at least for the next six months, probably even longer. I would also be willing to start a share house or flat if you happen to be looking for a place as well. I work quite long hours as a full time chef in a restaurant located in city. Needless to say, I love cooking and good food and this is something to share with my flatmates as well. Outside work I enjoy training aikido, yoga and other exercise, as well as just hanging out at home sometimes. My other big interest is travelling. I would describe myself as a tidy and respectful housemate and fairly relaxed person who enjoys good company and occasionally having a drink with friends. If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to ask and if this sounds like something you 'd like to live with I would love to meet you in person. Cheers, Noora

I am a Canadian chemistry undergraduate student from Ottawa U who will be working in a lab at ANU for six months, starting January. I'm clean, I love cooking and sharing meals, and I want to live with some people who want to show off Australia. I like to run, weightlift, have a beer, and jam out to some great music.
Initially from the Gold Coast, studying in Brisbane at UQ and down in Canberra to complete a small amount of study at ANU. At the time I'm intending on moving down I will have just completed (hopefully) a degree in science and will be returning to study after 6 months of travel through Africa.
