Hi, I'm Kate. I'm originally from Newcastle but moved to Canberra in Feb 2017. I'll be starting my second year at the ANU studying a double degree in International Relations and Criminology. I work at an Irish pub in Civic so I will be mostly working evenings and Saturdays. I love to have a drink, a dance and some good banter, but I respect peoples privacy and noise limitations and would expect the same in return. I love to cook, check out food and music festivals, have a beer on Sunday at the pub and hit the beach when I can (I'm still struggling with living away from the coast). I'm laidback, genuine, friendly and like to keep a clean place. I'm currently finishing up a house share with 4 other people, so I would be looking for a room in an existing house or a team up with a max 1 - 2 people in January + would need a secure off street parking spot. Looking forward to speaking with you - Cheers : )

Hey! My name is Leah and I'm a second year student at the ANU. I've lived independently for a year now so I know the etiquette of a sharehouse quite well, I've always paid my rent on time and generally a very busy reliable person. I love having people over but I will definitely respect privacy and the needs of others if I am sharing a house. In my weekly schedule, I am volunteering, working part time and studying full time so I won't be around too much.
Hello, im Deniz from Germany. Im still looking for a short term about 2 months in the whole canberra area. I don't wanna lease anything. I'm working fulltime in the construction industry since already 1.5 years. Feel free to message me :) If you want 4 rents bond or something sorry don't message me. I'm easy going, open for a joke or a beer whatever.
This property is right next to Canberra Centre, ANU is within walking distance, and the facilities available include a gym and a pool. You would be sharing this property with a quiet and clean roommate who is an ANU student. The preferred tenant would be a female- apologies for the lack of communication!
Hello. Darren is my name. Currently undertaking my final semester of post grad studies at ANU (hopefully), and also working part time in finance. Come the weekend, I do like to get out and about - this mostly involves sport. I am very clean and extremely considerate of others. I have extensive share house experience for your reassurance.
We're a 23 year old couple who have both lived in share houses in Sydney before, as well as lived together in Madrid in 2016. We just finished Law and International Studies degrees in Sydney, and are about to move to Canberra to start working for the APS. We're social, enjoy a chat and a drink, but easy-going and respectful of our housemates' space.
Penthouse in central Canberra! A place with amazing views over Canberra, where New Acton, ANU and the city are at your doorstep. It is fully furnished and decorated, with all amenities and services, including NBN and gym, sauna and pool in the complex. Your bedroom is an ensuite, has a private balcony overlooking the city and Black Mountain. (photos of room coming soon). I am renting out my room because I am currently travelling and have extended my stay for longer. Short term tenants only - great for those looking to find their feet in Cabberra while staying in a gorgeous place with lovely housemates.
I'm an easy going, clean, culinarily apt, musically tasteful and considerate full time worker who is looking for a house full of friendly and functional people to call home with! I work full time so I'm at home in evenings and weekends mostly. I enjoy gardening and outdoor activities and can cook up a vego storm if you're interested. I like to keep my stuff together and I live minimal and tidy-like. I enjoy a chat with housemates but am also respectful of your space, bedtimes etc. Commonly found hanging out with your pets in your backyard or bopping to The Black Keys or various 70's rock artists in the kitchen preparing meals. Message me if you're interested!
Hey everyone, My name is John, I'm a 27 years old and have been living in Sydney for the past 4 and a half years. New to Canberra, moved for work. I'm a respectful and friendly guy who finds it very easy to get along with pretty much anyone. I like to be social on the weekends, going out, having a dinner, going the movies etc, but also do my part in cleaning keeping the place clean and organized at all times. I have shared houses, flats plenty of times before and made some of the best of friends while doing so. I'm currently living in a friends place in Belconnen while one of the flatmates is away but I'm looking for a place as soon as possible. I like sports, going to the gym, the outdoors, road trips, surfing, camping etc. It would be a big plus for me if the place had a dog as I love animals (cats, dogs, parrots you name it) All the best, Cheers
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from January-February but very flexible
I'm Roberta and am a third-year PhD candidate (International Relations/International Law) at UNSW Canberra. I'm returning to Australia after a year of field research in Brazil/USA and am looking for a place to live until I finish my studies. Before going overseas I transferred my degree from UNSW Sydney to the Canberra campus so I'd be looking for a quiet place but also to live with someone who would be keen to have a chat, have dinner every once in a while, and maybe to show me around the city sometimes. I'm Brazilian but have been in Australia for nearly 10 years and have mostly lived in shared places, so I am very clean, tidy, and respectful of other people's spaces and privacy. I do research full-time and work part-time as a research assistant at UNSW but I also do love binge watching tv shows, going for a hike, and finding good coffee places around town.
I will be studying Software Engineering/Commerce at ANU in 2018 and am a small biz owner. I love my personal space but also a drink with friends or a night out. I cook, work, am very clean, and can supply my own furniture. I'm very techy and will need enough space for a desk and room to work from home. I am more of a home-body and would enjoy living with others who aren't expecting constant entertainment or group activities - but love to hang out regularly with great people.
The room has: -a desk -a new queen size bed -a built in wardrobe + chest -own bathroom. The facilities are an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, a gym and BBQ area. -5 minute walk to the City Centre -walking distance to ANU -walking distance to the Commonwealth Park -walking distance to Lake Burly Griffith -next to Reid CIT
Hello everyone, My name is Tobi and I am 24 years old. I moved to Canberra to do some research work at the ANU. The person who is subleasing me his room is coming back on the 1st of February, so I need another room for 6 weeks until I am heading home to Germany (18th of March). I am a tidy and outgoing person, but I do respect privacy. I like cycling, hiking and swimming. A room within cycling distance to the ANU, or close to public transport would be nice. Please feel free to contact me. Cheers, Tobi

I study human rights, development, and international affairs at the ANU while working on the side. I'm looking for an affordable share house in the inner-North, close to ANU . Keeping a tidy house is important to me. I'm also passionate about sustainability, cooking and being active. Love a good run or hike, but I also love to relax. I'm quiet but social, enjoy chats with my housemates but also respect space.
