Hi, my name is Shennyn (Shannon) and I am a full-time worker in administration around the Civic area. I am looking for a place closer to work, with people I can get along with and make friends with :) I moved from the South Coast to Sydney and now to Canberra, and want somewhere I can settle into for a while. I have lived in sharehouses for the a past four years, so I am respectful of others, their space, and am also clean and tidy by nature. As a side note, I do have a small (indoor/outdoor) pet rabbit who I would like to bring with me. It's not a necessity, though I do enjoy his company and he has a very loveable character. I am looking for a place where I can have my own bathroom and where there is internet available, those are my only real specifics. Feel free to message me on here if you have a place suitable and are interested in organising an inspection :)

I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time. Remi is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd who loves people and other dogs. He sleeps outside but is very affectionate and will want to hangout with his roomates.
Lets help each other reduce the rent. I'm working part-time in the public service and as a musculoskeletal therapist. I'm also by hobby a writer of both film /books and music. Sometimes sing but not if anyone can hear. fancy myself something of a good cook - i watch masterchef, which qualifies me to all kinds of grandiosities. I'm half Hungarian and trying to reconnect with some Hungarian recipes. I Like animals, but am somewhat allergic to cats. I get out into nature a lot. I am looking for a situation of relative equality - where all parties are willing to make compromises over daily living scenarios e.g. the way the dishes are done, whether something is left on the sink or not or a book or jacket is left in the lounge room occasionally etc...I do act in line with / appreciate general cleanliness and consideration being shown for communal space, but beyond this I appreciate diversity. There's often more than one way to do something, and different people will express themselves and live differently - merely because they are different. I need to live with people who appreciate this. My sense of humour can be cynical, though I like to see it it as sophisticated and informed by my life experience and learning which is quite diverse. I tend to watch the Bachelor/ette and survivor and tell myself that this is out of some sort of sociological interest. I applied to get on survivor 2017 but my application needed more work. Next year. I look forward to meeting prospective housemates. Hopefully immunity idols will be in play.
Hi everyone! My name is Monica, I'm 24 and I'm from Italy. I'm looking for a private room from the beginning of September (2nd) until the end of November. I'm am an easygoing, tidy and respectful person. I like sports, animals and cooking. I' m a university student in Law, I'm coming to Canberra for an interniship at the local Italian Embassy. I'm not a party girl, but I like kidding and have a chat, knowing new people and talk about every topic: from politics to science, environment, gossip etc..
I wanna move! I'm working full time in Gov, and have heaps of sharehouse experience. I'm social but like my own space, and into sport and fitness, and watching stuff on my big (communal) tv. My place is cold and crap and is being demolished soon. I'm looking for a place inner north or inner south! I'd be most keen to just meet up and get a feel for each other and go from there. Keen to act pretty fast.
Hey folks myself and my girlfriend are on the hunt for a spare room in a friendly home. We've been living in Kambah for almost a year now but fancy a change - ideally somewhere closer to the city but still within a reasonable distance to work in Woden. We can see our breath in the mornings and occasionally need to take a sleeping bag to bed so a house with a bit of insulation would be a bonus! A little bit about us I guess. We are both from Ireland originally and fairly new residents in Australia. We both work in healthcare and we were based in the UK for the past few years before we decided to jump ship and see what all the fuss was about down under. We took the scenic route here (via North Korea above all places but that's a story for another time) and arrived in August last year. And that's us in a nutshell. We've had a great time in Canberra so far and love getting out and about and exploring this little city whenever we get chance. It turns out Canberra is full of surprises and completely underrated! Looking for a house of like minded people who all enjoy each others company, the odd pint and good chat. Having said that we do respect other peoples space and privacy especially during the working week. Rambling a bit now. If you are interested we would love to hear from you! David & Amy
I'm Jay, 28. Typical 9-5 worker drone. I don't want to bore you with a paragraph about how I enjoy my own space but don't mind catching up every now and than for dinner and a glass of wine. That would be a lie. 1. I am a fussy eater, 2. I prefer vodka. I am a respectful, friendly, mature, responsible and relaxed person. I am seeking somebody with similar qualities. What can I offer you? - I pay bills on time and in full. - I am a tidy housemate. - I come with furniture. - I've done the share house thing before. If you want to live with somebody that enjoys binge watching tv series and eating home delivered burgers and fried chicken (thank you Deliveroo) then i'm your guy! If you are interested in sharing a place with me let know. :)

I work part time at Aldi in Coleman court. I have two amazing kitties who I adore so very much. My hobbies include reading and crocheting and just hanging out with friends. When the weather is warmer I like to go for walks and BBQs and generally just enjoy life
