Hello, we are Holly & Sam, an easy going couple from Manchester in the UK. After arriving here a month ago, we've landed ourselves some full time work for around 6 months, so we are now looking for somewhere conveniently located and chilled to live whilst we save up to continue our travels around Australia! We're tidy and clean and fully respectful of people's privacy and homes. In our down time, we'll most likely go for walks, chill on the beach, check out the sites or go out for drinks, we enjoy watching live music! I (Holly) also am also partial to a wine or two during the week.. however we're not unruly teenagers anymore so none of this will have an affect on our flatmates. We hope we can find some like minded people to enjoy Melbourne with or share a bottle of wine with :) Either way, we can keep ourselves to ourselves or enjoy a chat, whatever you fancy!! Message me for a chat if you have anything available or want to team up to find somewhere! Thanks! Holly & Sam

2 people looking for a place to study, relax, and sleep (in our own rooms, that is). Around the $175pw each range. I'm David, I study computery things at Swinburne and work part-time as a web developer. Being mindful of others and respectful of needs is a thing I do. So, it should be easy to live with that. Who knows? I might even make you a cup of tea. My name is Ryan and I'm currently taking a break from my Bachelor of Robotics and Mechatronics degree to work full-time. I'm quite an easy person to live with. I'm tidy, considerate of other people's privacy and will happily wash a leftover bowl of yours without the expectation of you returning the favour. I also own enough furniture to fully furnish a kitchen, dining and living room - so if you choose to live with David and myself, you won't have to worry about this stuff. 👍
I'm currently working full time for an accounting firm in the city. I moved up to Melbourne from country Victoria about 3 years ago and fell in love with this city. I have experience living in shared living and have found friendships over the years from living with others. I'm easy going, friendly, relaxed and I like to be considerate and make sure to keep my space and the common areas clean. I enjoy keeping fit, learning new things, going out to dinner, and I also love playing online team games as downtime from work. I'm open to having chats and hanging out as a household, but also happy to spend time separately as well.
I'm looking for a quiet location, with public transport in walking distance, for at least 6 months, ideally near Box Hill or Blackburn. Must be LGBT friendly. Moving date is flexible currently. I'm very clean, neat and quiet. I do not work or study due to diagnosed chronic pain, but my income is reliable. I have been sharehousing for 2 years so far and never had any trouble paying bills. I have my own mattress (it's a really good one), otherwise not a lot of stuff. I don't drive. I am single and I'm a very quiet shy person, though I'm fun once you get to know me! I don't drink or smoke or anything like that. Gluten free omnivore. Happy to share my cooking sometimes if you're up for that, I make great roast pork :) And of course I contribute to cleaning. I like to write and draw on my computer, I enjoy art and I love cats and birds. I hope to live with people who are compassionate, relaxed and responsible. I would like a peaceful home where everyone does their share and has their own space. Am I right for your house? Please send me a message if you have any questions! Thanks for reading!
Hey there, I am starting my PhD at Melbourne University, and I am looking to move closer to campus! I am a pretty relaxed person - can be very quiet and respectful of others, but am always done for a chat, too. I'd like to move in with someone who feels similarly. Somebody who isn't too extroverted (i.e., parties; drinks; alcohol) but someone who usually prefers watching Netflix or television over going to a nightclub! If this sounds appealing to any of you guys, do let me know. I'd love to move in to a prospective place ASAP! :) Thanks.
I love dining out, playing board games my favorite is backgammon. Robust discussions, working through the IMDB's list of top 250 funniest movies of all time and lying in bed researching. I also like my own space and will respect yours. I have been told, I'm very affable and pleasant. I'm a registered nurse that works at Box Hill hospital. I have lived in AUS for 11 years and I have dual citizenships. I'm from America and I'm 6 foot 3 and I play sport at least 2 a week. Some nights my co-workers and I have a movie night. I also work casually for the City of Boroondara in the communication/Engagement department and I work most festivals. I'm a non-smoker and not much of a drinker. Did I mention I'm very clean as per my profession.
Hi! I'm a pretty laid back person who is looking for a place that I feel comfortable in and get along well with the other residents. Some days I like to go out and socialise, other times need to sleep and binge watch tv. I'm planning to head back to study at the start of 2018, but am looking for a place to live close to Swinburne University before then :) I like horror movies, coffee and chinese food.
My name is Kathryn. I am 25 and work full time Monday to Friday in South Melbourne. I enjoy nature, going to gardens, finding new places in Melbourne and being social with friends. On weekends I usually find my down time in nature, bike/walking activities and traveling to be with both my family and church community. I am always up for spending time to get to know my house mates, whether it just be an occasional chat or netflix binge or over a drink. Personal qualities I am simply looking to live with people who are accepting of each others space, respectful, enjoy making a share house feel like home and who are down to earth. Honesty and communication is essential to a good atmosphere where everyone can be comfortable. I am easy going, open minded, up for a cuppa tea or wine anytime, sharing in creative interests and enjoy cooking desserts. I am looking to live with people who are reliable, easy to contact and pay bills on time. Food sharing and furniture I organise my own food but always up for sharing when I cook in bulk or having fun making spontaneous desserts for everyone. I enjoy sharing a meal with my house mates anytime. Description of pets No pets. I am available to move at any time between February to Mid April as I need to be out of my house by April 30th due to the landlord renovating the house and choosing to end the lease.
Hola! I have recently moved to Melbourne from Sydney. I just finished my under-grad degree in Architecture and Urban Planning. I am looking to move mostly in the Eastern Suburbs area. At the moment I don't have a car so living in walking distance (aprox. 20 mins) to a train station is essential. Preferably I would like a house of all females, but it is not essential. I currently work in Hospitality in the city (7am - 2:30/4:00pm Mon-Fri), and can move in as of tomorrow if you're really keen. I am a private person and like my space but I also like socialising over board/card games, TV, meals, and I do like the occasional kick around of a ball. I am a neat person ( got to have a clean kitchen otherwise I go insane) and like to bake when I have time. I am a hardcore reader and am learning the Cello, though you won't have to worry about noise cause I'm reluctant to play with any sort of audience. I also love my sport (Soccer and Roller Derby). Other things I like to do in my free time is play video games on my PS4, learn German, write and draw.
Friendly and fun guy working full time in the city and studying marketing at Swinburne. Originally from Geelong, but lived in Melbourne since graduating high school quiet a while back, and recently returned from a working holiday in London and traveling Europe, lots. Clean, considerate, quiet, but social and enjoys a few drinks.
A newly built townhouse in one of Melbourne's top suburbs! The house is constantly clean and spacious with your own room and bathroom so you have freedom to hide away when needed but as the only remaining occupant I love to chat with anyone! You are close to all public transport and close to all of the best places Melbourne has to offer! If you're a student the house is close to a lot of Universities also!
Free accommodation is being offered in return for 10 hours practical assistance for a friendly, elderly gentleman in a very convenient location, close to Camberwell shops and train station. Practical assistance includes occasional cooking, general help around the house and occasional driving. Thus somebody with a car is preferable. No personal care involved. Female, 50 plus only. If you are interested you can apply to be a Homesharer at Uniting lifeAssist. Homeshare matches older people or people with disabilities with ‘Homesharers’ who provide some company and practical assistance in exchange for free rent. It is a great opportunity to both save money and make a meaningful contribution to someone’s life!
Very social guy, neat and tidy, happy to hang out but also to keep up some personal space, currently studying my undergrad in nursing and working in hospitality. I'm looking for a place to live preferably near public transport and hopefully with a room large enough to fit a desk, and also queer friendly, more than happy to pull my weight around the house and also to lend a helping hand when possible!
Hi everyone 👋 I'm Hannah and I'm looking for a new home! I'm a bachelor of science and veterinary nursing student in my twenties. My primary job is working at Maccas but I also look after animals at the owner's home when they go on holidays such as cat visiting once a day! Soon I'll be back at uni (RMIT in the city) and combined with work placement at a Veterinary Clinic in Camberwell I keep a pretty busy schedule! However, I'm looking for a social household where the other tenants are up for a glass of wine at the end of the day or maybe a pub meal occasionally or even just a chat in the back garden! I'm super friendly, smiley, and open to living with anyone that is similar! In my spare time, I like to binge Netflix shows, meal prep, do outdoorsy things and I'm interested in conservation efforts and things such as beach cleanups and volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries (yet to do so). Looking at: Suburbs surrounding the city and close to public transport! Experience: I have lived in a sharehouse in Flemington for the past 1 and a half years paying $630 a month comfortably so I'm looking for about $800 a month max! I would love to hear from you if you have anything close to what I'm looking for and hopefully I can be a great addition to your household! Hannah
I'm quiet and keep to my self most of the time. I have a steady income for my engineering work. I'm self sufficient and clean up after my self. I have grown up 4 wheel driving and so I love the bush and going camping. I play basketball once a week to keep fitness up, and enjoy watching anime and tv shows.
Hi, I'm looking for a place out east to be closer to work, I'm pretty sociable always keen to share a meal or a drink and enjoy playing a bit of guitar and sport. I work in International Development and have spent the last few years living in Lebanon and the Solomon Islands and would be keen to swap travel stories

Hello, I will be studying at Swinburne University, Hawthorn for 2 semesters. Usually clean after myself and don`t mind helping around in the house. Love keeping fit, hiking, playing soccer, going to movies, hanging out with friends as well as having some down time for myself. My first language is French, but can speak English as I have lived in London before. Love preparing home meals and sharing with other housemates. If you want to know more, feel free to ask...

So a little bit about myself, I'm an early bird during the week working full time in the city as an engineer. I'm originally from Tasmania (Launceston) and I've been living in Melbourne for 2 years now. I would consider myself to be very easy going, happy all the time and pretty respectful. I also love going out for drinks, eating delicious food and exploring Melbourne. :)
I make a mean mushroom risotto.
Just shifting from a share house in Kew as my housemate is moving in with her boyfriend. Lived in big and small share houses for the last 5 years. I work full time Mon -Fri and play sport, so I'll be out for most of the week. Very sociable, love a chat and a laugh, but enjoy my own downtown after a big week. Completely across the required share house necessities and definitely pull my weight with all the cleaning.
I’d like to think I’m a friendly, bubbly and an easy going person 💁🏽♀️ Have mild OCD, which means everything around me will be super clean haha. As much as I’ll be down for a good chat with my potential housemates, I do enjoy my alone time and definitely respect everyone else’s privacy 🙂 A bit about my background; I’m originally from Sri Lanka (a beautiful island)but I’ve travelled a lot, and I’ve been here in Melbourne for about two years. Hoping to finish off my degree in accounts this year 🤞🏽 Currently live in a share house with 7 others, and been here ever since I moved to Melbourne so I’m looking for a change; a smaller place ideally, with people who are more than just housemates. So if you have something that seems like a good fit for my requirements please let me know! xx
Hi, my name's Justin, I'm a 38 year old barista, and musician in my spare time. I'm pretty quiet around the house, but like to make a little noise with my guitar when no one is around (I have weekdays off, so this usually works out pretty well). I've been renting with a married couple in a house they own for nearly 4 years, and moving on due to upcoming renovations of my room. Always considerate, tidy, clean, think communication is important (like to know if I'm doing something that annoys others around the house, yet pretty tolerant of other's quirks). Always on time with rent, and like to keep on top of my share of house chores. Friendly, love a chat, but sometimes keep to myself for a while to rejuvenate after a day of working with people in hospitality. I'm looking to move within a month, and am free to move pretty much as soon as something suitable comes up. Thanks, Justin.
28 year-old full-time Software Engineer (working hours 8-5ish) who loves gaming (board games and video games), camping, keeping fit, reading and going out. Been living in and around Melbourne since a very young age, rented a lot and always had full bond return. I like things to be tidy, but I'm not a clean-freak. Looking for a mix of social and solo-time, preferably with people aged roughly up to mid-30s. Have 2 dogs - a 5-year-old Husky and a 1-year-old English Pointer x German Shepherd - both well-behaved and well-trained. I'm adaptable and like to think I'm easy-going, also have quite a few pieces of furniture and appliances to bring to the table (no pun intended?). I'm a decent cook and used to cooking large batches of food and I'm house-broken (used to doing the chores required to keep a tidy place). Would also love to get together and start a share house - shoot me a message!
I am from India. Currently pursuing my Masters at the Deakin University. I am introvert at first. Being honest is the most important thing to me. I do not drink alcohol and neither do I smoke. I like playing sports and thereby making new friends. I am a really good friend if you get to know me. Once I am your friend, I never let you down. Closest to my family.
