I'm a 26-year-old professional set to start a new job in Melbourne in February and will be looking to move into a place mid-January. Originally from country NSW I have spent most of the last few years studying at UOW in Wollongong and have lived in a few share houses during that time. I am a social person and would enjoy a social house (am always keen for a few beers and some banter on a weekend) but also enjoy time to myself to relax and respect other peoples needs in that regard too. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself and would always be happy to help in group house clean up efforts. In terms of interests I enjoy getting outside, traveling, going to live music and comedy and just generally socialising with friends.
I come from France and I am a French teacher. I am tidy, clean and calm, but I also I enjoy a nice friend night. I am used to live with roommates. I like music, books, Netflix and animals.
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will be occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Friendly, creative, responsible, reliable and respectful 18 year olds starting their first year of university. Combined we have a passion for travel, exploring, delicious food, and anything media, art or design related. We both work waiters, but I (Taylor) am currently unable to work due to injury. We love trying new restaurants or recipies and traveling to new places, we also enjoy going to gigs or watching any sort of movie. Currently living 2 and a half hours out of Melbourne in a country town past Pakenham. Looking for a number of individuals or couples who are fun and sociable but also clean and reliable of ages between 18-30 with or without pets.
Hi there! I am currently studying at Melbourne University full time, I'm working on my Bachelor of fine arts specialising in costume making for theatre. I love being creative and one of my main hobbies is sewing which is something that I need a space that can cater to (a bedroom that will allow me to set up a fold-down table to use with my sewing machine and overlocker). I'm easy going and get along with people quite well, I enjoy both hanging out and chilling in my own space. I'm a reader and I love watching movies. I'm very creative and I enjoy being clean and organised and am happy to share the load of the cleaning duties around the house. I don't take offence when people want to be left alone and I'm relatively understanding. I'm looking for a place that is close to public transport and/or the Melbourne CBD for Uni. If this interests you let me know.
Hi all, My name is Ashley, I am a 28 year old counsellor doing my Master of Professional Psychology part time. I am looking for 2 friendly people to live with in a sharehouse long-term. I am tidy and easy to get along with, but also enjoy my own space and respect other's privacy. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace, but also have a good chat and share the odd glass of wine or meal with housemates. I enjoy running, catching up with family and friends, true crime podcasts, Outlander and baking. Ash:)
I'm a self-employed gardener, running my own business. I have many interests and do a number of activities/sport during the week. Happy to hang out with others and also happy to be by myself. I like to dance, sing, read, play boardgames and generally have fun. Not a big party animal. Love cats and dogs. Can help get rid of most spiders (after initially freaking out). Love puns. I'm looking for a private room in a share house full of nice, friendly people. Hopefully it will have a garden and parking too. Message me if you want to know anything else :)
Hi my name is Levi Quinn and I'm looking for a place to live in close to the CBD, as I've recently gotten a job in Port Melbourne. Still currently living in my home in Tasmania. I'm due to start my new job on February 11th and will likely travel over the week before to check out potential houses and hopefully move in. Not extremely fussy on move in date but a week or so either side of 11/02/19 would be great. Would also be happy to team up with the right people to apply for a new rental. About me: * I'm a 23 year old male * Coming from Hobart where I’ve lived for the last 12 years * Dual trade electrician by profession where I’ll be working Full Time at SAGE Automation in Port Melbourne * Like being tidy, without being neurotic about it * Follow Rugby and AFL * Non-smoker * Definite dog person but love all pets * Like watching Netflix series in my down time * Enjoy a beer or rum at the end of the week * Love my outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, camping, etc * Very social person so always up for a chat and doing something with people What I'm trying to find: * Somewhere nearby to the CBD (within 25 minutes by car) * Around $275 a week + Bond * Preferably a house rather than an apartment/unit with on or off street parking for my work vehicle. Some sort of yard and/or storage would be nice, but not essential * Long term lease or the opportunity for it * Fully furnished would be ideal as I don’t have much to offer furnishing wise as I’ll be driving up from Tassie with not a whole lot. That being said I would be happy to contribute to buying furniture once moved in * Chill and social housemates that are like minded who wouldn’t be opposed to cooking and eating meals together every now and then as well as generally hanging out * Cool bars/pubs/cafes nearby a bonus Cheers 🍻
I'm a 30 year old engineer from Sweden. I work full time out in Lilydale and would like a nice place to spend my last two months in Australia. I'm organized and tidy. I love cooking and a clean kitchen. Interests range from fitness and soccer to politics and sci-fi. Balancing heavy socializing and personal space is my forte. I'm looking for all amenities from furnished room, equipped kitchen to washing machine access and so on. I'd like to take the metro to lilydale daily so living somewhere between Box hill and Hawthorn close to a railway station would be great. All the best!
I'm a 23 y/o registered NICU nurse from Alabama, USA and will be moving to Melbourne in March on a sponsorship for work. I have a 5 y/o mini Aussie/Spitz pup named Dexter and I'm adopting my brother's Corgi pup named Tink that will both be moving with me, although they won't be there until June/July. I have a few friends in Melbourne already that live in surrounding suburbs, but none needing a place to live! I'm very excited to meet new people! I'm looking for a house that has a backyard for the pups and has a big enough kitchen because I love to cook. I love to paint/sketch and read on the rare occasions when i'm not working, but otherwise I tend to keep myself busy with friends, work, and the gym.
very friendly and happy people. looking for place clean and peaceful for me and my younger brother. love music moves and get together for movies and food. respect privacy of others. for more just text .
I'm a professional & have just relocated to Melbourne from the Gold Coast a few months ago. Looking for: - Either a Private room with private bathroom OR Ensuite room OR Studio/1 bedroom apt/granny flat - ALL Bills Included - Furnished - Near public transport with easy access to the City/ Amenities or Near Enough (Preferably within 30 mins or so) - A short lease to begin with, would be nice - just to figure out how the area/ suitability etc, is =) I am social but also like to have my own space at times when I'm working on my projects. An occasional glass of wine or desserts over movies and checking out new places is what my mates and I usually do. I'm always up for Roadtrips/Long Drives, Exploring, Brekky for Dinner (anytime of the day, really)! :D I keep busy and am not quite looking for a party house. Happy to chill over a cuppa/ leave ya to your own devices if that's how you roll. I am more than open for suggestions on places to check out in Melbourne- and you're also welcome to join in on the fun if you're keen on such things!
I’m a laid back/chilled person and am easy to get along with. Looking for a homely and relatively clean place to move into, more so then a house, which comes with good humans who have good and genuine vibes. I’m social butterfly and do love a chat but I do love my own space and a bit of peace and quiet. I’m very clean and tidy by nature but I’m not OCD. Love animals, so if your home comes with any fur babies I’m already going to be sold. I’m also employed full time and do love my job and therefore the overtime is being thrown at me so I’m not home a lot (at the moment).
Greetings friend! I'm Charlie and I'm a medical administrator who loves animals and plants. I also love a good glass of red, knitting, reading, and baking. Pete bounces between hospo and retail work but is a musician/writer at heart. He is also a movie buff who often communicates in obscure pop-culture references and loves to cook. Sometimes he watches sports. We've never missed a day of rent, we're not clean-freaks but we DO clean, and we like going out almost as much as we love staying in. We'd love to meet and chat if you're keen - if you've questions, please don't hesitate to ask! We're looking for folks that we can have a good laugh with (inside or outside of the house), share cleaning duties, and are just generally easy to communicate with. I hope that you have had a most excellent start to the New Year and look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for existing!

Hi! I am a 20+ female from Malaysia and have been residing in Australia for many years, and have just recently graduated from my Master degree. From my past 6 times of house sharing experience, and several times of sharing rooms at hostels, I have a reputation of being a clean, tidy, and responsible house/roommate. I speak 4 languages, namely English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay and Spanish; and I am an avid traveller. I have done a big backpack round tour in Europe, had travelled to Japan, and did work and study in China, Ireland and Spain. I consider myself to be an open-minded and mature person, also should be fun to be with as told by my friends. I enjoy cooking and baking, which I don't mind sharing the food with my future flatmates. I am also into arts and design, photography, books, linguistics, culture and history, plants, fitness and DIY. Happy with locations within an hour public transport time distance from city center, within the public transport Zone 1 + 2, even if not listed in my "Preferred locations" section below. Please drop me a message if you think I sound like a friend-to-have / someone who should be living at your flat right now! I don't mind teaming up with like-minded people to rent a property too.
