Hey there! I'm a medical student completing a research year at the Alfred Hospital, after which I will complete my final year of my studies. I also work part time in hospitality. As such, I lead a pretty busy lifestyle, but you can rest assured that I'm a very caring, organised and responsible housemate to have. :) I'd say I'm easy going and respectful. I love spending time with others, having a meal, chat and a laugh together, as well as spending time on my own. I would love to get to know my housemates - going on adventures, brunching, or just kicking back with some Netflix. :) Other than studying, I do aerial silks and hoop (as a form of dance and exercise), go to the gym, catch up with friends, explore Melbourne's best brunches, cook and sleep. I like to live a healthy lifestyle, so most of what I cook will be only good, healthy stuff. I do love to whip up a delicious cheesecake every now and then though! I'm not a party animal - especially not during the week! - but don't mind a social gathering. I can be outgoing, and pretty quiet. I have lived out of home since 18, so I can confirm, I am trained in housemate rules. Would love someone who likes being active to go to the gym/ yoga/ someone exercise-y with! Won't lie, I tend to be a morning person!
My name is Jess and I am 27 years old. I am currently working as a Customer Service Officer on a full time basis at Box Hill Institute. I am originally from Mt Macedon in the Macedon Ranges and have lived out of home since I was 18 when I went to university living in College and then in share houses. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (Languages) and a Bachelor of Education (P-12). My interests include: sport, travel, reading, shopping and spending time with friends and family. I love to just love having a cuppa or a wine and chatting. My weekends mostly consist of going to the footy. I like meeting all different kinds of people. I am looking for social housemates who like having the occasional meal/drink together while living our own separate lives. I like to keep all communal areas tidy and want housemates who are respectful in that. I am looking for housemates who are kind, caring and respectful of others.
I'm very clean tidy and respectful of people time and space. music lover and enjoy a good convasation over a beer or coffee. Please at least let me view the room and you can see me in person. Thank you, Rick

Hi! I will be moving to Melbourne soon to start a full time job. I'm a reasonably neat person with terribly average cooking skills! I'm pretty easy going and love to try new things. Would love to find a friendly household with some flatmates who can help me settle in to Melbourne, and who are happy to share a meal and a drink. I've put down to stay 4 months but am definitely open to a longer stay. Also a bit flexible with move in date :)

I've just recently moved over from New Zealand. I work in an organics store in Balwyn, so I often bring lots free tasty organic food home. In my spare time I like to do parkour, and I read quite a bit, lots of non-fiction, about things like; gardening, philosphy, sociology, autobiographies, etc. I also used to be a chef, so I'm pretty keen on cooking. I like to think I'm pretty good to live with :) Cheers, Theo
I'm an easy going, happy to talk shit, and slightly dopey aerospace engineering student. I am a window cleaner when I'm not at uni, so the windows will (probably) be nicely kept. Preferred price is around $170 per week, maximum $220 including bills/internet. The lower the cost the better though! ;) For the next two years i'll be studying at RMIT Bundoora. So i could be down for a lease which is that long. Just got to find the right home! I'm hoping to make a few new friends, knuckle down to focus on my study, and live in a lighthearted and chilled environment. I play indoor soccer every week, and am always keen to play sports, or throw a Frisbee. Or just be out-doors to have a gander.

I'm 22, from Melbourne. Commercial Pilot, though currently undergoing further studies. I'm easy going and respect the space I live in. I love to maintain a clean environment and workspace. I've lived out of home for 3 years and familiar with sharehouses. I love cooking various foods, travelling, playing and listening to music, animals (I have a Labrador, who won't be with me), catching up with mates and anything Aviation or Automotive related! I would rather a room that is furnished or semi-furnished, though it wouldn't be a major issue if it isn't. I also own a car which will require parking of some sort. -Looking for either short term or long term- Feel free to message me if you have a listing that would be suitable!

Hey there! I'm Kristel, 23, looking for a place on the east side. Been living in shared accommodation for over 6 years, pay bills on time, can respect people's privacy, but can enjoy a wine or two together every now and then :) I work full time in a customer service role in the city. I travel, I read, bit of a foodie, can bake, enjoy eating out, but I usually stay in and cook most of the time. I watch Criminal Minds reruns, with a side of SBS. And I gym (ish). Keen to look for a place to call home. I'm also interested in team-ups somewhere on the east side. I come with my own furniture, a washing machine, and a whisk. Look forward to hearing from you! Kristel
Hello, I'm Mei, (Doori is my Korean name.) I'm planning to move to Australia specifically to Melbourne in February. I have applied several positions in pharmaceutical and clinical research companies in the city, and have had interviews as well, as soon as I have a concrete confirmation from one of the company, I'm going to move there. I already have received visa, just haven't received the fixed date for the work. I have lived with my family who are extremely neat, so I have a good habit of cleaning the place like an aseptic environment. So I think it is a good thing :) I can be quiet but I'm friendly approachable person who loves to make new friends :) I'm organized and neat and do not own much stuff. I do not listen to loud music or watch something really loud. I'm a morning person, who likes to work out before work and go to bed pretty early around 10-11PM. So I think that's not so bad :P My mother tongue is Korean, but I used to live in Canada so I WANT to believe that my English is okay haha :)
Hello all. My name is Shankar, and I am looking for a room in a real home. Originally from India, I recently moved to this city from Sydney. I'm 27, male and work full-time in IT. I love soccer, movies and TV shows. I'm friendly, tidy and reliable. Having lived in shared accommodations before, I understand how the game works(Things like keeping the common areas clean and cleaning up after myself in the kitchen, etc). I'm always up for a chat, drink or two, sharing stuff etc. But I also like to retreat into my room at times, and know that the others desire the same as well. Honestly, I prefer a home where the people are friendly and relaxed, as I've had some amazing housemates in the past. I'm not much of a cook, but intend to learn it ( I promise I won't turn the place upside down :) ). I am available to move-in asap. Also, furnished rooms would be at the top of my list, as I don't have any furniture with me at the moment. I Look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to text me on my number, and I'll reply as quickly as possible.
Hello my name is Owen I'm a 22 year old male from Mornington, I'm currently studying Psychology at Swinburne and I'm looking to move closer. I'm a non smoker, and easy going. Ideally I would like to share with two other students, male or female, but this is not a priority. My interest range from travel to gaming. Most of my time will be split between Uni, study and work.
Hello all, I am a clean and tidy guy who can keep to myself but also be social. I am friendly and very pleasant to be around. Would be helpful in a garden situation as I am a gardener by trade. My interests include sports (avid cricket and football fan) and comedies.
Hey I'm Peter, I'm 32 years old and work full time as a Building Surveyor based in Melbourne CBD. I'm looking for a house/room (6-12 months +). I moved down from Brisbane about 2 years ago and have spent those couple of years settling in. Now that I have a bit better idea of the lay of the land I'm looking to move a bit closer to the city to have more time to enjoy life rather than commuting to and from work. During the week I'm usually pretty busy at work, and depending on the time of year have been known to work quite late - a habit I'm gradually learning to change. After a bit of a hiatus in my spare time I'm getting back into the gym and enjoying it more and more each session. Apart from the gym I also like going bush walking when I can or hitting the beach, but also enjoy a good chill watching a movie or having a beverage (coffee/brewski) and watching the world go by. Like most guys I enjoy watching my sport - AFL, cricket, NRL (being originally from QLD), any sport really - but also love going playing a bit of tennis or golf, or even trying something new. I've lived in share houses a couple times before while in QLD, and while like most people I enjoy a bit of quiet time when at home to recuperate, I also love a friendly chat and catch up over dinner and whatnot. I'm pretty relaxed and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy when you need it too. Due to my nature being a consultant I pride myself on creating positive relationships and am always up for a laugh, however I will always respect personal space and privacy. I'm clean, reliable and will do my part to keep the house tidy! I also have a car, so a car space would be ideal. Looking forward to hearing from you!! Peter
I'm first year uni student at Swinburne. I'm clean and opening girl, I like to chat with my flatmate on the afternoon or on any free time but I also respect and keep private personal space. I'm also like doing house work on the weekend.
Hi - My name is Audrey and I'm looking to find a room. I'm an optimistic person who loves to chat but also values personal space. You can count on me to keep tidy, pay bills on time and be a great flatmate. Looking forward to hearing from you, Audrey
From 15 February 2017, a very large room (big enough for a couch, bookcase, desk, etc.) will be available (our vegan couple will head overseas). The room has 2 small, stand-alone, open wardrobes, a queen-size bed, 2 x bedside tables, 2 large windows, 2 smaller windows, hydronic heating, ceiling fan and is carpeted. If you have your own furniture, that's absolutely fine. What's great about our place? Us!! Plus, you can laze in the hammock or have a BBQ in our large, private, green backyard. We have a very large lounge area which is great for chill-out sessions with friends and family. Wifi available, approximately $12.00 per month. We are a 5 minute walk from East Camberwell station and a 10 minute walk from Camberwell station and Bourke and Riversdale Road trams. Camberwell Junction is nearby and you access supermarkets, clinics, restaurants, a library, a cinema, and fast food restaurants, etc. The house is huge and situated in a cul-de-sac with no parking restrictions. We have one bathroom with a loo plus a separate toilet. Due to our different schedules, bathroom access has not been an issue. Often people either work away or go away for weekends so we may only have between 2 and 4 in the house.
Hey there, I'm Mez, I'm 28, a netflix addict and a bit of a health nut. I'm just looking for a chilled place to live that would be easy to get to work from (Bayswater). I work in Marketing and I'm also trying to finish off a degree while starting up my own business. I keep pretty busy but I also like having a home to relax in. I'm pretty respectful of other peoples space and usually up for a weekend BBQ or music gig. Hoping to find something in Early March. Happy to answer anymore questions.
I'm a super easy going, creative, soul searching human! A bit of an introverted extrovert- equally loving a night of wine and socialising as I do cocooning in a blanket with Netflix and tea (and I work at T2 so my tea collection is out of this world) I just graduated my bachelor of Fine Art weilding a blow torch and an overambitious love of metalsmithing, so I'd love to have or set up a small art-making space in a garage of some sort
I am moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane for work which I start on the 23rd! I have a cat and am single (obviously you will say - she has a cat!) I am clean, respectful, fun and quiet. Hi there! My name is Maddie, I'm in my mid twenties and I work full time as a primary school teacher. I am friendly, easy going and very respectful of others. I love all things travel and language related, art, tea, baking, films, music, keeping active and good food with friends. I have lived in share houses before and am looking for a friendly, homely and caring household. Somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a house and where the housemates enjoy each other’s company, sometimes sharing a meal, a drink, watching a movie together etc. I am a very tidy person and value a clean home so I am looking for housemates who are the same and share the cleaning. I am pretty busy during the week so am looking for a considerate and fairly quiet household to come home to but also one where you can relax in good company when work is not too hectic. If these sound like the things you value too then I'd love to hear from you!

I like to keep a healthy lifestyle and look after myself. Would classify myself as an ambivert. Regards to my extroverted side; he loves to kick back over a beer or wine and have a few laughs and banter with his roommates, however the introverted part of me you will tend to find him studying, on skype calls for trading, watching doco's, exercising or doing his wierd Tai-Chi moves haha and generally just keeping to myself. Socially aware, very adaptable and easy to live with. My health is my wealth, so I like to cook alot +happy to cook for you on the odd aswell, as i love cooking for people =] I hope you have warmed to this listing and that we are able to make a great acquaintance. Hello/Bonjour/Bom dia!!! My name is Nicole and I am looking to rent a room for the school year in 2017 (February-November but can be flexible). I am an active and outgoing person who enjoys being outdoors and socialing with friends on weekends. During the week, I am quite studious and like to have time to myself. I am learning Brazilian Portuguese and am fluent in French. I am a paramedic graduate looking for accomodation close to work. I enjoy cooking and I am a clean house mate that is easy to get along with. I am not home much around both of my jobs and I also still study. So I am looking for a clean and respectful housemate/s that will be fun to live with.
I come from a small town, 4 hours north of Melbourne. I am from a large family, so I get along with people really well. I am great to live with because I have shared a room all my life with two other people, so I am very used to sharing my space. I have been taught how to cook since a young age, so I mostly know what I am doing in the kitchen. I am also an outgoing and bubbly person.
Hi I'm Candice! I'm currently a travel agent living in Adelaide. I'm going to trade that all in to move to Melbourne and study a Bachelor of Arts/Masters of Teaching at Deakin. I'm a burlesque dancer and contemporary choreographer. I'm a very clean and organised person, who pays things on time! I'm not a big party person but I enjoy the occasional outing. I don't know anyone in Melbourne so I'm looking forward to making new friends and having new experiences in a city I love. I'm unable to transfer in my current job but I will be looking for a job before I even move over there, I am able to support myself for a few month though.
I have great music and movie taste, I'm clean, I love sport, I'm a writer, DJ, and comedian and I'm not a party animal
**Moving late Feb at the earliest** I'm the most clean and tidy housemate you will ever have. I like to cook, but I'm not very good! I'm on a weight loss and fitness journey at the moment so it'd be cool if we could gym together. Introverted af. Always up for Netflix and a drink and not into clubbing every week. I mostly work evenings too. I love seeing love bands, my favourite is Karnivool. I'm finishing up my last unit of my bachelor of science at Monash and working a Dan Murphy's (SWEET SWEET DISCOUNTS). Max budget is including bills. Also looking for: - Carspace - Housemates around my own age - Private laundry facilities - Private balcony or yard area - Ensuite bathroom if possible - Housemates that are chill with overnight guests I have lived on my own before and so have a house full of stuff, so teaming up is the best option for me. However if I find a great room, I'm sure I can downsize.
Hi I'm Jacqueline :) 22 years old, single and my lease running out in march. I work full time and long hours in Balwyn Wednesday through to Saturday, so you wouldn't really see too much of me through the week due to working late. I'm super friendly and fairly social on the weekends! I enjoy a platter and drinks with friends most weekends, and do a lot of travelling back home to Albury to see the family. I'm super easy going and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy if you prefer :) A lot of my friends live in the outer suburbs so often on weekends I always find myself travelling out to catch up with them. I'm lots of fun but also respect that everyone loves a bit of me time! More than happy to live with a couple, i'll be your little third amigo. I have a TV, small black leather couch, and a small fridge if required, if no furniture is needed I can send it back home to albury. I've got bedroom furniture, so an unfurnished bedroom would be perfect! I'm not interested in sharing a bedroom with one or more people for the heads up :) ! I'm clean, reliable and keep the house tidy! I've always had a lot of respect for properties and neighbours, due to renting in the city and suburbs for the last 4 years! I also have a car, so a car space would be needed!
Hi guys! I'm a 21 year old girl who's studying Interior Design and Decoration at Swinburne University! I'm super friendly but also love my personal space and quiet time to myself! As I will be studying full time and working as much as I can I will be out of the house a fair bit as it is. I am super clean and very respectful of living with others, especially in communal areas ! I love going to the gym and catching up with my friends out for dinners and lunches etc! Looking for 1 or 2 other like minded girls to live with in the hawthorn/camberwell and south Yarra area! Gith xx
Country girl from a little place in Northern Victoria called Echuca, quit my job as a press photographer and moved to Melbourne 16 months ago to have a bit of fun. I'm a kids fitness coach so I'm very approachable and easy to get along with, i love my fitness, and when I'm not running around with kids I'm running a retail store. Currently studying my second degree, not afraid to have a few drinks, and I'm a great laugh.
Hey guys, I'm Karly. I'm originally from Gippsland, but for the past 2 years I've lived out of home with friends up near the city. I work full time in a call centre, and have for the past year. I consider myself to be a very tidy, open and honest individual. I am a little introverted, but also like to make new friends, and loooove a beer - it all just depends on the day. I'm not the type to constantly have people over. I generally spend my free time reading, drawing, watching YouTube/Netflix, listening to music or focusing on my fitness. I'm a bit of a nerd. Hoping to try and get out a little more this year. Looking for a housemate/s that are also tidy, easy-going and down for a chat every now and again. I am not against alcohol, drugs, smokers, LGBT+ or any animals.
Hi all, My name is Robyn and I'm looking for somewhere to live from February 2017. I've been busy travelling around this year, but now am looking for somewhere to settle down for at least 12 months and finish the last year of my degree. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and work in retail; luckily for me I work for a large chain, so have the flexibility to transfer stores and keep the money rolling in. I've share-housed before, so am well house-trained and conscious of what to do and what not to do when living with other people. I'm looking for somewhere eastside, preferably less than 30 minutes by PT to the city, but am pretty flexible. I'm not a hermit housemate, preferring to socialise and hang out with people, whether it be brunch or pizza/movie nights, but like to spend time to myself as well. I have my own queen size bed, so unfurnished rooms are preferable, but I can always sell it if need be. Also, I'm not too shabby at cooking, and going to Aldi is one of my Top 5 favourite activities, so there'll always be a pantry of cheap food! Cheers, Robyn
I'm a software engineer, working full time. Music is my main hobby and I spend a lot of time playing guitar and going to gigs. I also like to read, play video games, watch tv and movies, and going hiking and camping, which I do a few times a year.
I get along well with people and I respect every person. I am also very clean. I have been living with roommates/housemates since I was 17 so I am very used to living with others. While I enjoy having a drink and chatting about pretty much anything under the sun, I do value privacy and I would prefer to have my own room as there are times when I just want to be alone and watch Netflix on my laptop. I am currently taking my master's degree at Deakin University Burwood Campus. I grew up in the Philippines and I can speak English fluently.
I am currently busy studying in Hawthorn and working casually in Camberwell. Looking to move into a shared environment. I'm not much of a party animal but I love watching Netflix and chatting. I also love to cook (and bake) and am both neat and considerate. I also have furniture to contribute if needed.
Moving to Melbourne for my Masters in Deakin Uni this November. Clean and Tidy is how I live and what i am looking for in a place. Fun loving and ready to hang out once in a while or in the weekends, but always respect privacy and hope for the same in return. would be more than happy to help out with the house chores. Don't have pets but do not mind having them around.
Hi i am Sarab. I'm from India. Will be joining Deakin University to study full time course from feb 2017. In search of a place near the uni only. Very friendly person, love to hang out with friends, like some privacy as well and also respect the privacy of others too.
