Hello! I'm from Brisbane and have been living with a friend's family for the past year. I'm looking to move somewhere with better public transport and, hopefully, close access to a grocery store. I'm a bit of a quiet person, especially around new people, but I'm still really friendly. It'd be nice to become friends with my new housemates :) Though I'm still very respectful of other people's need for space and privacy, of course. I'm eager to have a cleaning schedule with my housemates and I always tidy up after myself, so you don't have to worry about that. I also often go to visit my family for a few days, usually over weekends, so I won't be home all the time. I've taken a break from uni this year and will be returning in the first semester next year. Right now, I am working a temporary job as a receptionist and looking for more part time work. Oh and as for the moving date and length of stay I've listed: I'm pretty flexible about it. I don't need to move immediately. And I'm happy to stay longer than 3 months if all goes well :)
I'm looking to find a new place to move to into mid October (Ideal moving date is October 19th) I currently live with my sister but she's moving down the coast for work so I need to find a new person or two to set up with again. I want to find somewhere within about 15 minutes if my work in Coorparoo so open to a range of South East suburbs - currently searching Coorparoo, Carina, Carina Heights, Carindale, Morningside, Cannon Hill, Murrarie, Tingalpa, Greenslopes, Holland Park, Bulimba, Hawthorne, Norman Park and Camp Hill. I want to find somewhere we can have a spare room, as I have a spare bed and family that visit a couple of times a year. Ideally I would like to pay a max of $240 a week, preferably less- so I have been searching 3 bedroom places for up to $480, or 4 bedroom places for up to $700 - but that final price range will also depend on what you're looking to spend. My deal breakers when I'm looking at rentals seems to be, shower curtains, external laundries, size of shared spaces and no built ins. Apart from that I'm pretty open; house, townhouse, modern, older etc. Main items I can bring to the house are a fridge, microwave, and a spare queen sized bed. Other things I own but I'm willing to part with/upgrade are a dining table and chairs, coffee table, bookshelf, deep freezer, large ikea cube storage bookshelf thing, glass tv unit Thing's I don't have/will need to look for are a couch, a washing machine, toaster, and kettle Me: I work full time in child care Pretty quiet around home but like to think I'm friendly and easy to get along with Like a sleep in and an afternoon nap Keeps tidy Rarely drink Don't smoke Try and go to the gym regularly Anything else, let's chat
There are many threads as to what makes me great to live with but here are a few. Emotionally intellegent . Mature minded, kid at heart. Considerate and patient. House proud and responsible. I have a cat who is such a gentleman. I have furniture and require some storage space for my camping gear. An outdoor area is important with some green space. Gotta be able to put my feet on grass 😊 I am a Community Support Worker and at times do overnights. Pretty much a quiet individual but embrace company and good conversation. I am a smoker currently but I am taking the steps to quit. Fingers crossed 😊
I'm a 29 years old boy from Italy, working full time as a tiler, in my spare time I like to cook, play volleyball and exercise, I'm a very tidy person and I would like to live with someone who would be the same. I like to have conversation time to time with my housemates, chill and have fun, so basically I'm really easy going.
Searching for: - 1-2 rooms, granny-flat or large room - Ensuite or own bathroom (no sharing please) - Air-conditioned room please - Price up to $350 for right space/layout - Quiet location (not city/valley please) - Easy drive/transport to the city - Pets are ok and welcomed :) - Mature professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please - Townhouse / house setup preferred - Share with 1 single person (maximum 2) - Please only housemate managed properties I'm alternatively thinking of starting a share house if any team-ups are interested in 3-4bed 2bath between 2ppl. About Me: I'm 31 and work full-time in the CBD. I'm looking for a 1-2bed apartment or rooms, granny-flat or larger size ensuite room. I’m staying with family so my move in time can be immediately for the right place. I'm a quiet mature professional with excellent rental history. I enjoy social sport, reading and study, art and the odd reality show. I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or daily visitors as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I like socialising and wine but usually out of the house. If sharing, I'm looking for people who are similar minded. I generally keep to myself, especially during the work week, but keen to meet a friend or a have a drink if we click. Ideally up to 300p/w but negotiable on price (max 350p/w + bills) for granny flat/apartment/private half-house or the right combination of storage, location, furnishings and quiet surrounds. Please send me a message if you think you might have a space for me or want to know more. Thanks Nicole :)

Hi! Professional worker (fifo) with an inside dog, looking for an easy going place to live with easy going, lovely people or person. I’m 39, female, pretty relaxed. I love to cook and get out and about with my Great Dane. He (my Great Dane) is 4, very well trained in obedience and some agility and is a couch potato by day but needs his twice daily walks or he goes nuts! I’m looking for preferably TWO rooms (or half a house to share)!!!!! I have all my own stuff of everything! Happy to share use of my stuff or happy to put it in storage. When I am away at work, I would really love it if you would allow my dog to stay there with your love and attention and a daily walk? Do you live dogs too? My boy gets along with most dogs so a house with other animals is great!! Big ask! I know!! But willing to negotiate 🙂 Let’s chat!!!
Born in a Brisbane and enjoy a life of a travelling, learning & creating. I currently work in retail at a clothing store and am looking at studying in the arts field next year. I love yoga, dancing, writing and can also talk on end about conspiracies, spirituality & politics (the majority of topics probably best left unspoken.) I am reliable, tidy and actually find the Sunday spruce up quite therapeutic. With me a housemate, I promise to help deck the house out with a bunch of flora, cook you a veggie meal or two & always respect your space. I also have an indoor kitty named Sophie who I’d love to bring with me but is not essential in finding the perfect place.
