Hello! I'm a 20 year old musician and part time bar tender. I've been living in Melbourne since September and absolutely love it! Would love to move closer to the city - looking for at least 6 month stay. I'm a fun, easy going and clean house mate. Will always make sure to do the dishes ;) Let me know if you have anything!
Hi! I'm Phil. Looking for a friendly place to call home. I'm 27, and a full-time professional. I'm moving to Melbourne for a new job with next to nothing and starting over, so something with basic furniture would be ideal. Been looking for a change, and secured a job in Melbourne recently (I'm a software developer). I'm social and appreciate having the company of nice flatmates, but also appreciate my quiet/alone time when I need it - and respectfully, I'm flattered by flatmates who enjoy my company but will also respect your privacy when you need it. I'm tidy, yet laid back. I've been in and out of share accomodation since 2009, managed both by myself, and others. I'm still friends with most of my old flatmates. I strongly believe in an equal playing field in a share house - we all ought to chip in the time for making our place feel like home. From Newcastle NSW originally, but lived in Sydney for 8 years.
Hey guys, my name is Julia, I currently live in a share house in Bundoora and im super excited to move closer to the city! I am a pretty chill girl who loves art, going out, discovering new places and hanging out. I work full time in admin and also work at a bar in Fitzroy. I'm neat, tidy and respectful. Reliable with money and a good person to talk to about whatever :) All round I am a pretty easy person to live with! Ideally looking for a private room in Fitzroy/ Carlton are with rent no more than $280 per week. I also have a car so parking space is preferable :) Looking forward to hearing from you guys! xx
I'm a Brazilian english student here in Melbourne. A really chilli and tidy guy. Looking for a private bedroom for a long-term stay.

We are an easy going couple who just arrived in Melbourne on working holiday visas! We will be working full time during our stay. We are laid back, friendly, love the outdoors, and enjoy a glass of wine with a home cooked meal.
Hey! My name is Bryan, and I'm from Chicago in the US. I'll soon be working as an ESL teacher in the Melbourne CBD. I work mostly evenings during the week, with an occasional morning shift. I'm super laid back, clean, and lightly nerdy. I'm a bit quiet, but I love a drink and to socialise. For fun I like to go to random events, explore, go out to eat, or just chill in a park or beach somewhere. I'm also keen for movies or games on rainy days. Looking forward to meeting you!
Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 pcm (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))
Sublet: single bedroom in lovely Carlton house $200 a week/person Hello guys We have a house very well located in Carlton which will have a single bedroom available from the 8th of April until the 1st of May (23 days in total). In this house you will live with an awesome group that loves to spend time together. We do surfing trips, barbecues and try to grow our own veggies. Even if it will be for a short term, we are in search of a great housemate to be part of our international home. The location couldn't be better. House is minutes walk from the University of Melbourne, Fitzroy and CBD. Close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes.
So long as my flatmates are respectful, do their fair share chores I am happy to live with anyone. I like getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. My wishlist for a house includes genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed.
Recently moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong. Looking forward to meeting awesome new people here in Melbourne as I did during my time in London, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong. Looking for friends to make and a place to hang my hat while being shown the ropes of the "land down under". I love art, camping, poetry, hiking, going out for drinks and good food, and electronic music/festivalling. Thanks in advance (:
Hey, I'm from wales in the U.K. I work full time for a caulking company (construction). I play soccer 3 times week and go to the gym when I can be bothered. Always up for doing things whether it's nights out, going for food and coffee or even just having chilled days watching tv. I'm a single, non-smoking health professional, moving back to Melbourne in late April to start a full time M-F job at St Vincent's Hospital. My job involves working with people, so I prefer somewhere quiet and relaxed to come home to during the week. I’m a bit more social on weekends, but am not a party animal by any stretch. I'm hoping to live with 1-2 other single people (not couples) with a similar mentality. I like to be fairly independent, but also like to live with somebody I can have a chat with and occasionally share a meal with. I'm looking for a furnished or unfurnished room close to St Vincent's Hospital, with a parking space/permit. I'm neat and tidy, and respectful of others and their space/possessions. I always pay rent/bills on time, and am not tight with money!
I have been sharing a townhouse with 11 other people from mixed nationalities. I'm easy to get along with, clean, organised, considerate and good fun to live with. I'm quite social and friendly but I also enjoy my own space. My hobbies include listening to music, motorsports, reading about cars, tech, and into exploring new places and enjoying little things in life. I recently just finished my masters in business administration and working full time in my field. I am still settling in and looking for the right bunch of flatmates.
Hi! I'm coming from the Amsterdam to Melbourne for a research-internship in the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. I'm down to earth, easy going and I like to socialize. During the weekdays I will work full-time in the hospital but during the weekends I am a free man. I like to surf and go to the gym in my free time and look forward to meeting new people!
Hi, I'm 26 years old, and I'm from Brazil. I'll go to Australia to learn and practice English. I'll study in a English school and work at the same time. I like to live with another people to learn a little bit about the australian way of life, about the culture and everything. I'm very flexible and polite. Best regards, Olivia
