Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
3 bedrooms in a fully furnished flat. Two larger bedrooms with a queen sized bed each, and a third smaller bedroom. Ideal for 3-4 occupants, preferably those already teamed up. All bills and NBN wifi is included. Rate is per room. Move in dates flexible for those already teamed up. Great location close to Melbourne University, trams and an easy 15 minute walk to Melbourne City. So close to all the action yet far enough to have quiet enjoyment at home! You will be spoilt for choice being so close to Lygon Street's cafes and restaurants too! The 2 larger bedrooms are furnished with queen sized beds and comfy spring mattresses, built-in robes, bedside tables and one with a study desk and chair. Block out curtains, heaters and fans, pillows are also provided for use during your stay. The bathroom spaces are handy for sharing as the toilet, shower and sink vanity are actually separated and have their own doors, so essentially 3 persons could be using the facilities at the same time. Kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stovetop, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cookware, tableware, cutlery and utensils. Living and dining space with sofa, TV, coffee table and a 6 seater dining set. You also have a washing machine in the bathroom. Great spot in convenient Carlton, fully furnished and with your own kitchen, laundry and living area, an easy 15 minute walk to the CBD, a stone's throw from Melbourne Uni, heaps of restaurants and Woolworths Supermarket. Responsible, tidy and respectful candidates will be highly regarded. Strictly no smoking or parties allowed. Noisy, rowdy behaviour, or any complaints from my neighbours will not be tolerated. If I find any of the above to have taken place, I reserve the right to immediately evict tenants. Kindly text for more information or to arrange viewings.
I'm looking to do a bachelors degree at Melbourne University in Commerce. I'm a generally quiet individual, however I do like socialising with others. Having just finished high school I'm only 17 turning 18 in April. I'm also currently living in Western Australia. I would be looking to move early February, somewhere between the 1st and 10th. I'm willing to partake in a skype interview, if you would like to get to know me better. I am able to clean after myself. In addition to that I am able to cook, although nothing too complex. I respect privacy and try to maintain polite relations with others. Although amongst friends I can be somewhat looser and more relaxed. I do not drink or smoke and do not plan to. I also have no issue sharing accomodation with those who drink. I plan to study full time and work part time. I am not someone who's hugely interested in parties so it will not be something I'd want to organise. I am looking to make friends with the people I stay with, and of course would respect that they may not want other people around the home often. I am a somewhat shy and reserved person initially, but after warming up to people I generally greatly enjoy their company. Other general things about me would be that, I like to read quite a lot. Mostly fiction. I would describe myself as quite nerdy with nerdy interests. I don't watch a lot of tv or movies. I do however like boardgames quite a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am a 27 years old French-Polish that arrived a year and a half ago in Australia, and 2 months ago in Melbourne. I am a very sociable person although very independent at the same time, and nearly 10 years of travelling and living abroad have taught me to live with others. Open-minded and chilled with a good sense of humour, I like to avoid conflicts and problems at all costs. I'm also cheerful, kind-hearted and trying my best to make the most of life. I can speak French, English, German and Polish fluently, and currently learning Spanish. I like to have a clean and cosy home, and enjoy to share nice moments with nice people, as well as relaxing on my own. I work in the digital industry and give French tutoring lessons as extra. I have a broad range of interests and always keen to learn new things and discover new places. I love to listen to and play music (Violin, guitar and just starting piano), sport, meditation, outdoor adventures, camping, cooking, and everything related to art and creation like drawing, writing, reading, dancing, photography... I'd love to find a home in Melbourne where I could bring some good energy and get to know awesome people! :) [EDIT: I am looking for a FURNISHED PRIVATE ROOM, please don't contact me if it's unfurnished or shared room, thanks! :)]
Hi there, I am currently looking for a room in a houseshare in the inner north / north-west area. At the moment I live in Kensington in my own apartment. But! I do have about 8 years of prior houseshare XP. I like to cook, I come with an (optional) cat who currently has a home, I also come with an unlimited iiNet ADSL plan (again optional). I also like to binge watch TV and order the occasional UberEats. I work full-time in the city (at RMIT) and I'm 33. As a housemate, I like to keep spaces clean and generally tidy. I am friendly and laid-back and I do like "down time" particularly during the week. I'm organised and non-flakey and I can hold a good conversation. Some of my interests: reading, movies, podcasts, Internet culture, TV and philosophy. Kind regards, Jack
Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD.

Hi! My name is Francois I'm 28 years old Belgian. I've been travelling around Australia since September and I'm now looking for a place to stay for the next 5 months. In used to be a digital project manager in Belgium. I will look for a 9 to 5 job in a web agency here in Melbourne. I love music and sport. I like all kind of style but I prefer folk, rock and deep house. I'm a fan of tennis and soccer. As a good belgian citizen I like to grab a beer with friends and go out for a dinner. I'm a respectful person and will keep share spaces always clean.
Hello, my name is Ella. I'm a costume designer and tailor, but have recently decided to ditch the freelance life and go to uni next year to study fine art. I'm looking for a place in the inner city which is reasonably accessible by public transport. I'm quiet, clean and tidy, and tend not to be home that much, currently I spend most of my time at my studio and also work part time in a cinema. I'm a good cook and a good baker. I don't eat meat but do eat fish. When I'm home I'm quite happy to hang out and have a chat, but am also totally understanding of everyone's need for space at times. I don't have any pets, but don't mind if you do, and if you have a cat I'd be pretty happy about that.

Easy going, clean and tidy couple. We both currently live and work fulltime in Perth. My boyfriend works as an Environmental Officer in the mining industry, and I work as a Science and Policy Officer for the state government. We are both making the move to Melbourne for further study at Melbourne Uni. We are not searching for a party house, but we still like to be social. We are both clean, tidy and respectful of our roommate(s) and the house rules. We both love watching a good documentary, are environmentally and sustainability conscious, LGBQTI friendly, non-smokers and we prefer to live with non-smokers too. We do have one requirement which is fast and reliable wifi and a parking space. If you need someone to move in before the 6th of Feb we are open to paying a couple of weeks rent before this date. If you'd like more info or have a place for us to live, flick us a message. We look forward to meeting you! Michael and Shae

I work full time as a surgical nurse. During my time away from work I love to stay fit, active and social and am often out and about keeping busy. I do also have a 3yo golden retriever cross. She is super chill loveable and well behaved and spends most of her days lazing around when not out and about with me. As a housemate I'm always down to have a chat or head out for a meal or hang out around the house. But also value each others personal space. My current lease ends on Jan 7th so am looking to join a house anywhere from late December to early January.

We are a couple in our early twenties moving to Melbourne at the end of January 2018. Mitch is starting a new job in construction management and my partner studies law. We're both friendly, clean people who are happy to keep to ourselves but also enjoy getting to know our fellow housemates. We've have decided to complicate our lives and go on a holiday and will be back on the 20th of Jan so we need to move in somewhere between then and the start of February. We like to think we're relatively mature for our age. Definitely interested in having a few drinks on the weekend but have predominantly outgrown the party lifestyle. Bonus is that we have very few friends in Melbourne so wont be stealing the Saturday night pre drinks slot! Mitch will be working full time mon-fri and probably out and about socialising and playing sport in his free time. Looking to get back into football, cycling and general fitness. Life mission is to make the perfect pizza dough, still working on it but getting closer every time. Anna will probably be doing the opposite, namely watching the flix or reading a book and sinking some red. I also come with as many plants as you will allow me to have. I'll be attempting to study a couple topics in my third year of law long distance. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we're happy to oblige! Also if the move date is a little later than ideal but you think we'd make a good match don't hesitate to reach out and see if we can work something out.
Hey i'm Sam, I'm a Kiwi from Auckland and have just moved to Melbourne to live. I work as an Architect and am excited to explore and add to this incredible city. Would like to join a social flat of good people who are getting amongst it. I packed my possessions up into two suitcases and a box for my push bike and jumped the ditch. I am an easy going guy and have been flatting in Auckland for the past 6yrs with some great people who have become friends. I like to shoot hoops, kick a ball around, have drinks and go to bars/gigs with friends. I also like to garden a bit and do home projects/build stuff. Love music (missing my record collection) and also a good tv series like The Wire for example. Very tidy guy who likes to cook (Vegetarian) and is very clean and tidy. Looking for a room for the start of 2018 so I don't have to sleep on my sister's couch.
I am working full time as an environmental consultant and love to keep myself busy by keeping active and trying new things (current activities include under water rugby and yoga). On my weekend I like to go for walks as an excuse to get unhealthy food at the end, discover dessert bars and head out for cocktails which I can't probably can't afford. Working full time I am often out of the house during the week but would love to move in with other young people who enjoy the odd drink and movie night! I have lived in share houses before so understand the logistics that go into keeping them running and clean! I am low maintenance, tidy, like a clean bathroom and pay my rent on time. What more could you want?!
