Hey guys im from California traveling with my Working holiday. I want to spend my last few months in Melbourne, lol not in a hostel. I'm really easygoing and friendly. Hoping to find some fun people while I'm on my last leg of travels.
Hi, I'm from Ireland and I am looking for a place to live in Melbourne. I work in the CBD and would love a room close to here. I'm very easy going and friendly. I have been living in house shares for 8 years and have never had an issue with anyone. I am very clean and do enjoy cooking/baking for other people, when I get a chance. :)
Hi, I'm Quentin, 23 years old from France. I arrived in Melbourne on Monday night and I just started an internship to validate my Master's degree at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research near the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking for an accommodation available ASAP for a period of 6-7 months. I am paid and I also received a French scholarship for my internship, so I will have no problem paying my rent on time. Since my 18 years I do house/flatsharing, so I am more than accustomed. During this period, I crossed many people from different countries not any Australian yet ! Sociable by nature, I know how to adapt to the characters of my roommates, I do my share of household tasks and I am a real cordon bleu ! Even if we separate our food, I often cook or do pastries to pass the time. You could have your share ! I will also be delighted to start a discussion about a beer or a glass of wine either outside or at home. I think I'm never short of discussion, this is surely my French side! Cheers, Quentin.
Hi there! I've recently moved back to Australia after working and travelling in Europe and am now relocating to Melbourne to start my post grad studies. I'm moving to the city for its lifestyle as much as my studies - I enjoy cycling, drinking good coffee, listening to live music as well as the beautiful parks to explore. I also practice Iyengar yoga, love swimming and busting out at No Lights, No Lycra (Melbourne's best export yet). As an architecture student I have a passion for beautiful spaces, tidy houses and find cooking for friends immediately turns a place into a home. I enjoy discovering local designers, trash or treasure stalls and local produce markets. I also am a bit of a green thumb so come with a small family of indoor plants! I look forward to hearing a bit about yourself too and why you love living in Melbourne - I'm always up for suggestions!

Hello you! I'm Jean, a 32-year old from Singapore. I worked in a art museum and run a non-profit music initiative back home. Come February 2017, I will be commencing my postgraduate studies in arts and cultural management in University of Melbourne for two years :) I am easy-going, upbeat, love bad puns and happy to adapt to new environment and people. I looooove food and constantly on the hunt for great eats in the city. Most of the time I'm just nerding out alone in my room to recharge, or checking out new events and discovering places on the weekends. Always game to go hiking, travel for food or check out festivals. Things I'm looking for in a apartment: clean quiet surroundings, appliances that work, a good hot shower and a double bed. I understand the importance of being considerate, cooperative and respectful of other people's personal space and needs too :) Looking for friendly, open-minded, international flatmates to share a place (and some drinks) with!
I am a 28yo artist slash museum educator returning to Melbourne after four years living in Paris, where I studied mime and sculpture and worked in the Louvre museum. After so long overseas and moving about I'm looking to find a house that is a home, where I can see myself staying for the next two years at least. This year and next I will be studying my Master of fine art at RMIT and working part time. I will be spending a lot of time at uni, in my studio and at work, so when I picture my dream home I'm inadvertently imagining an oasis getaway - a place to read books, to grow things and relax with friends, and housemates to share a cosy home cooked meal, good convo and all my wine with. I'm a real green thumb + homemaker. I am not a clean freak but I do enjoy making and keeping a home nice, and I love hosting people and cooking.

Hey future housemates, I am a sharehouse fan, I have lived in Melbourne with 2-5 other people for the last 5 years. I like to share a meal together now and then and do my own thing sometimes, whatever really. I work full-time in the city Monday-Friday and spend a fair bit of time on road trips/out of the house on weekends. Hobby-wise I am a coffee obsessive, and will likely have one in my hand when I'm at home! I am a pretty clean person and am happy to keep the house as tidy as everyone feels like. That's about it really, looking forward to meeting you! Tom
I pay my bills on time, I like my privacy and I respect yours. If I find a shared space with people in it I proceed to survey the mood and offer the following: -appropriate jokes -inappropriate jokes -banter My name is John but my friends call me milford, after salad fingers I'm 29. I spend a lot of time doing serious stuff so I hope to live with people who can switch off after hours, have a sense of humor and like adventure. Thanks!

Hi I'm from Sabah, Malaysia if you've heard of the Borneo Island that's where it is. I've been in Melbourne for two years now and extending my stay for another half a year. A full time Masters student but planning to take a part-time job since I have more days to myself for just doing one subject this semester. During free times if I decide to bum at home I would watch movies or bake. Yes, bake. If the budget permits it encourages me to go out hunt good places to hang out, have good food and drinks. I run time to time, I think I should run more. Best to do all with company of course.

I have been in Melbourne for about four months and working full time (weekdays 9 to 5ish) doing digital marketing and design. I'm looking for a nice place thats close public transport and the city. Preferably until the end of July (five months), but also open for shorter periods. I'm really into music and all kinds of creative stuff in general. Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Hey lads, I'm a german PhD Student in Melbourne looking for a room in a flatshare with awesome people. Location: close to Uni Melb. I love music (especially Irish Folk, Classic Rock and Electronic Music), modern Art and I have to admit a part of me is a nerdy physicist. I also love to wear white socks and flip-flops to make sure people know I'm german. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. If you speak Portuguese, French, Italian or any other cool language I'll do my best to learn it! Open minded, easy going person, keeping the house clean and down for fun! Looking forward to meet you in person, Cheers Lukas
