Hi, thanks for reading! I'm studying at RMIT and working part time as an urban planner. Currently I spend 4 hours (!!) travelling to work so I'm looking for a place somewhere closer. I've lived in sharehouses before and I know the important things: paying the bills on time, keeping it clean, getting along with and just giving the place a good atmosphere. I am definitely not a party animal but I like a glass of wine or cider and a chat. When I have time I like to travel, cook, yoga, getting into jogging and getting out into nature. I'd like to find a long-term place, six months at least but a year would be great - happy to go on the lease and I've got references if you need them. If I sound like a good housemate give me a yell! Cheers Jenny
We are a couple of Colombians, working part time and studying. looking for an apartment to share with another couple or maximum other 2 people, we are neat and clean people, we like to respect privacy.
Hey, I'm Alex and I'm studying Visual Arts and Secondary Education at Monash. I'm moving down from Canberra and a reasonably quiet guy. Not into: hosting raving parties, singing in the shower, coming home at 3am, throwing things at walls etc. I'm appreciative of the odd-semi regular board game/movie night/shared meal/drinks but otherwise happy to keep to myself. I respect keeping common areas neat and tidy and cleaning up after myself. My interests mostly include reducing waste, impromptu craft projects and cooking way too much pasta. Happy to settle any household disputes through a battle of Mario kart, beer pong or chess. Hoping to find LGBT+ friendly and like-minded people.

Hey there! My name is Valeria, I am a 20 year old girl from Germany (Bavaria). For my dual study program (I am studying International Business), I will spend 3 months working in a sales office in Mulgrave. It's a full time job, so I won't get on your nerves for too long 😁 You don't have to be worried about getting along with me, I am quite easy to handle :) -don't always feel like chatting? That's fine! I also need my space sometimes. Also I have a lot of interests and hobbies, for example riding my motorcycle, playing volleyball, singing, going to the gym, cooking (like to eat healthy, but also escalate with chocolate sometimes 😁), so i guess I'll always find something to do! -a glass of wine or a bottle of beer while having interesting conversations? I am ready 🙋 -going out on the weekend? Great! -watching netflix or listening to music and relax? Oh yes! Btw I love budgies (Unfortunately i am allergic to other pets.....) Looking forward to other easygoing people :)
friendly, non judgemental, quiet, respectable, clean, honest, have had a fair amount of experience living in share accommodation and more often than not have enjoyed it 2 years ago i decided to rent a house on my own and soon after had some friends move into the empty rooms sadly the lease is up and the owner is demolishing the house and building town houses so i have decided to look for possible share accommodation to live in as i want to study next year and have cut back my hours at work to part time.
Im a student from India. I love playing the guitar and harmonica if you're up for a jam. I also play regular soccer and spend a lot of time bicycling. Im usually fairly quiet and spend most of my time at home studying, but would love a chat every now and then!
Talkative, life experience, very reliable with rental payments, artistic and musical. I've been renting a flat in Warragul the last 8yrs and previously shared and rented places around Melbourne from Heidelberg to Balaclava and Mordialloc etc.
Have you ever wanted to live in a new, modern and comfortable suburban-sized house with the same security features and safety of an apartment? This property has the best of both worlds: the security and safety of an apartment AND the large 3 bedroom size of a suburban house. Located only minutes’ drive to Chadstone Shopping Centre. There's an air conditioner in every room, which lets you keep cool during the summer and warm during the winter as it has both heating and cooling functions. You'll also have a bathroom to share with only one other roommate who works 6 days a week. We're confident that $300 per week is the price we need to set for this property as it is large, spacious and you have your own mostly private bathroom and remote controlled garage door parking to keep your car safe from hailstorms and rain. Once you see it you'll see why it's totally worth it. We are ideally looking for working professionals or post-graduate students of Monash University but is open to others if compatible. The location of the property is in the south east suburbs near Monash University so between Caulfield and Clayton. I will contact you with the exact location and schedule an inspection if we click over the phone or through email. Our ideal roommate needs to be: Honest ---- this may seem like an obvious no-brainer trait but you’d be surprised by the number of roommates we have lived with who say one thing and do another. Clean--- In order to maintain a comfortable environment, we need our roommate to be responsible enough to clean up after themselves even if you are running late for work and you need to cook breakfast at home, you’re still expected to chuck cutlery and dishes into the dishwasher at the very least. Financially stable--- Have a source of income whether it be a job, parents or business. Pays rent on time and ideally doesn't spend more than 40% of weekly income/budget on rent as you'll need funds for other things besides rent. Prices are exclusive of utilities: electricity, gas, water and internet. $1090per month for the room or $250 per week $750 bond
There are two bedrooms available in the house which is located in Carnegie. The house is in a great location and close to multiple restaurants, cafes and Woolworths. It is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house which is very well maintained and spacious. Both rooms are a decent size with built in wardrobes. The house will be partly furnished so any furniture is more then welcome. The real estate does ask that whoever moves in is put on the lease and one months bond will also need to be paid. Move in date is around the start of december but is slightly flexible :)
Hey! My names Angus, I’m currently living in Sydney but will be moving down to Melbourne in January next year for a full-time graduate job. As I’m not from Melbourne I’d love to find a place to call home, with people that are a similar age to me (22) and like-minded! I’m very easy going, friendly and love a laugh. As I’ll be working full time I won’t be home during the day (mon-fri) but would be more than down to share a drink or meal in the evenings or on weekends. I also completely respect and understand people’s privacy/alone time. I like to spend my spare time at the beach, playing sport, homebrewing or just chilling and watching Netflix. I’m open to different locations but currently thinking of places in the south eastern suburbs as a reference point, as I’ll be travelling to Dandenong for work. I’d love to hear from you all so please shoot me a message with any questions or suggestions!
There's lots to love about this large, free-standing home. There is a huge backyard (and front yard too) and long driveway making for easy off-street parking. All the period details of the home have been retained and the owners (and Real Estate) are excellent at maintenance. I've lived here for 7 years and we've seen complete rewiring, roof tiling, a security door added and new back fence. There are three large bedrooms, TWO of which I'm offering to you. I'm able to furnish these rooms or leave them empty. (the bedroom photographed is mine- to give you an idea of the rooms) Our street is quiet and the neighbourhood friendly. There is ducted heating also. We are very close to either Carnegie or Murrumbeena train stations and the 67 tram is a short walk. INEED TO REMAIN FLEXIBLE ON AVAILABLE MOVE-IN DATE AS MY CURRENT HOUSEMATES ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR THEIR NEXT HOME.
My name is Marley, I'm 22 and I'm currently studying and working part-time at Monash Uni. I'm really easy going and very friendly, I love to bake and I get along with people really easily. I'm looking for a place full of other interesting people to live with and hopefully become good friends with too!
Hey! I'm Tasha, I'm 20 and am just about to graduate from my Bachelor of Public Relations so would love a bit of a change (and also want to be closer to my PR job). I'm super into travelling and health and fitness, and am a huge foodie so will definitely not turn down a brunch offer. I love spending time with other people but also love my alone time every now and then. I'm respectful, clean and will also happily do the household grocery shop every week (I literally LOVE food shopping). Looking for a new place with some fun gal pals, so message me if you're interested!
Hi, My name is Kratika Kaushal and I am a student at Monash University currently working on part time basis. I am looking for a room in my budget. Would highly prefer an all female flat (although I am flexible on that condition depending on the location of the house). The budget is around 150-160 including bills. I am from India, a vegetarian and prefer peace and quiet. I am quite friendly and love to go on hike trips and always ready for a chat or coffee.
Hi, I am currently working part time and am beginning a 12 month course at Swinburne in Hawthorn next year. I live a quiet life, my main interests are Buddhism, Tai Chi, music, writing and reading. I am looking to share a house with people that share these interests and lifestyle, though it is not essential, a quiet house would be quite fine :)
This house is recently renovated, filled with lots of natural lights. Cozy and welcoming vibe. Fully furnished rooms (but if you have your own furniture, that's ok too), kitchen, dining and living room. Some rooms are bigger than the others, hence the difference in price. Access to trams, buses and trains. Opposite parks, cycling track and famous coffee shop.
I'm looking for an individual female to share a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with two other females. I'm sorry but men or couples will not be considered. The rent is $300 per week including ALL bills, access to Netflix and Stan as well as a cleaner who will thoroughly clean the apartment on a fortnightly basis. The available room is fully furnished, has a queen-size bed, desk/chair, lamp and built in robe. You will be sharing a bathroom with one other female. I am also happy to supply linen and towels for use during your stay and naturally anyone sharing the apartment will have full use of all household items (I.e. pots, pans, washing machine etc.). Unfortunately no car parking is available however the apartment is a 3 minute walk from the Carnegie train station and only one stop away from Monash University (Caulfield campus). The apartment is only one year old, fully furnished and in an excellent location: - 3 minute walk to Carnegie Train Station - 3 minute walk to Koornang Road where you will find a numerous amount of cafes and restaurants, all the major banks, post office, library and everything else you would expect on a busy strip. - 6 minute walk to Woolworths supermarket. - 8 minute drive to Chadstone Shopping Centre. Parking: NOT SUITABLE IF YOU HAVE A CAR. Unfortunately, as the property is so close to the train station, street parking has a 2 hour time limit between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 1pm Saturday. Smoking: Okay provided you’re an outside smoker. Pets: Unfortunately potential flatmates with pets will not be considered.

Hey guys! Taylor and I are both students at Monash university, committed to our studies in law (I've almost graduated <3) and engineering (Taylor is 3rd year). We are looking to have a social household where we can hang out and have fun together (we love gin and wine), but we are also looking for housemates that are respectful of others and can appreciate time alone. We are both neat and tidy and would appreciate the same. We have a fur baby - Theo a 2 year old American staffy - who is an absolute sook but we love him anyway. On the holidays we're looking to work, chill in the sun, play video games and have a blast! Would be great to make friends of housemates rather than being on that strict, awkward acquaintance level :P Ideally looking for a sharehouse accessible to Monash Clayton campus. Our move date is relatively flexible until January with a preference for mid November. If you are keen to know more about us, or Theo, shoot us a message :) Cheers
