Hey there - I'm a Melbourne local looking for a room to rent somewhere in Mentone/Parkdale/Mordialloc/Cheltenham and surrounds. I'm looking for a place to move into early December. I work full-time in social work in the Bayside Peninsula area. I like to interchange between getting the train and driving to work, so walking distance to a station is ideal. I often need to drive around Melbourne for work, including occasionally needing to bring a work car home with me, so a requirement for me is definitely having parking available, whether off-street or on-street :) I'm tidy, clean and quiet - I work weekdays and spend my weekends generally relaxing, cooking, visiting family and going out with friends. I enjoy chatting with my housemates and having a laugh but also enjoy winding down and spending time to myself. I love finding local brunch spots and bars - any recommendations greatly appreciated! I'm a (mostly) vegetarian but have no problems living with people who eat meat. I also like to try to live somewhat sustainably. Would love to live with people aged 20-30 who are also working full time! Or a combo of working + studying. I like living with people who are relaxed about having friends and partners over every now and then - within reason of course :) I love cats and dogs as long as they're trained and friendly!
Hi! I’m doing my professional year in the city. I love to explore Melbourne culture.Love to go out and try different restaurants.love to shop. I’m very friendly but also need my own privacy and respect other’s. I’m very organised and tidy person and pay all my bills on time.
Hi there, I'm 26 yrs working as a full time nurse (shift worker). Looking for a place closer to my work at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton. I am an easy-going person, love keeping my place tidy (a bit of clean freak) and definitely not a party animal but can enjoy a drink or two every now and then. I'm quite a social person and like to be around people so looking for a more social flat with family vibes, if your place is the kind where everyone keeps to themselves I probably won't be a good fit. Thanks Also im happy to team up as well if anyone wants to get a place together! Just flick me a message :)
Hi I am studying Master's program at Monash University. I do not smoke nor I have any pets. I would like to live in a quiet, clean and somewhere fun to live(bills included) with easy going housemates and no pets preferably. I keep everything tidy and clean and expect the same from my housemates. I am also open for teaming up with you and look or move into a new house. I am also flexible with the duration of the stay and move in dates and can consider short term as well.
Hey folks! My name is Sumit and I am a Master's student of Design at Monash Caulfield. I had been living in Oakleigh for 9 months and then in Caulfied for 4 months. I am looking for a private room in a quite setting. Being a post grad student, I spend most of my time at uni while doing my assignments. Even on weekends, I am at library for most of the day. I keep my room very tidy and like staying with people who prefer keeping home organised. I do not smoke at all but do take wine occasionally while socialising. Though I am mostly busy with studies but I do like to talk. My friends say that I am a good listener. My growth has given me enough wisdom to appreciate the differences in opinions. I may have a different opinion than people but that shall never affect my respect for them till the till their conduct is ethical. You can always trust me for rent as I never miss the deadline. I am looking for a flat or house with 1-3 bedrooms. I have been through enough mess while living without contract because of real-estate agents or flatmate's carelessness and do not want to go ahead without it. I am looking for a furnished apartment/room with shared facilities of washer, dryer, gas as a standard equipment + a carpark. A BIR is a must for my bedroom. . let me know if you think that you can team up with me or offer me a place to stay for next 1 year or more. . I am intending to move in Week 4 of August 2018. Thanks and kind regards.... :)
I am extremely independent, down to earth and fun house mate to have! I went to boarding school at aged 14 so understand the importance of respecting and getting along with different people from all sorts of back grounds. I have lived in a shared house in Melbourne previously, and have just returned from solo travelling for 2 years where I spent one of those years house sharing in Cardiff, in the UK. I currently work full time as a travel agent, and am completing a degree part time 100% online. Love to cook, so always down to share a meal (am vegetarian but completely respectful of other people’s preference), love to go out on the weekend and also to stay in and unwind. I’m looking for house mate/s with a similar work / study loads who understand the importance of both “me” time and also friendship and respectfulness living together.

We have 1 room that will become available near the start of October. This is a private room that is flexible with furnishings, and has a built-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom. The house itself is quite big, with loads of communal areas and places to hang out. At the same time, however, everyone is respectful of each other's space; so if you prefer keeping to yourself this house is also a great fit. We've got a lovely gym and couch setup in the garage, as well as a decent backyard area with seats and tables - perfect for having friends around. The house is situated between Carnegie and Caulfield stations, only a 5-10 min walk to either. There is easy access to the shuttle bus that goes to Monash Clayton, so you have super easy access to both Monash campuses. As well, we are super close to the delicious restaurants in Carnegie (about a 5 min walk). As individuals, we generally keep busy during the week with work and study, but like to find time to relax and enjoy a beverage and hang out during our space time!

Hey! I'm a student studying commerce at Monash. I'm leaving Melbourne for 2 months at the end of November and want to check out and hopefully get a place for February before then. A little bit about myself : I'm a foodie (vegetarian though 😅) with a recent passion for salsa dancing and a champion Netflix bingewatcher. I love to travel , explore new places and am always up for trying out new cafes and bars. Also, I'm currently on a goodlife gym contract so bonus if you live near one cuz I don't want to give it up 😪 I'm a great housemate too :) Clean and never late with bills. Let me know if you have a place. Cheers!

We're looking for a new housemate for a lovely three bedroom ground floor apartment in Carnegie. One unfurnished bedroom is available with BIR from 27th October. Rent is $688 per month, plus bills (split three ways), unlimited internet ($20 each per month). Its a bright, renovated ground-floor apartment with courtyard, two living spaces, one bathroom and separate toilet. Shops, cafes and trams only minutes away (400m) and train stations on the Cranbourne/Pakenham and Frankston lines just a short walk away. We're looking for an easy-going housemate who likes to chat and share the occasional drink/dinner but also respects each other's space.
