Hi! I'm Ariel and I'm currently a PhD student. I'm super friendly and tidy, and have a sweet mature French bulldog named Jinny. I grew up in country NSW before moving to Newy. I love dabbling in anything arty, chilling at home with some Netflix and doggy cuddles. I work crazy hours, but always up for a chat!
Hi. My name is Amparo. I am a quiet, easy going person looking for a room in a share house or a small flat. I work part time as a cleaner, and sometimes work afternoon shifts, so I tend to be a 'night owl'. I like watching TV and movies, listening to music, walking, cooking. I like my own company, but am also looking for a flat mate who enjoys socialising. I love pets and would be happy to share with someone with a dog or cat. I am available from now, but am not in a hurry to move.
I have just relocated from Adelaide to Newcastle to start a new job. I would describe myself as being friendly, easy going, neat and tidy. I am considerate of privacy and respectful of others. My health and fitness is important to me; I am a non-smoker and a vegan. I enjoy walking and a bit of yoga. As a musician, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my spare time. I love the ocean, so spending some time at the beach is high on my list of things to do. Looking forward to finding a share housing with likeminded, friendly and easy going house mate(s) to enjoy beautiful Newcastle with. Cheers : )
19, really easy going bloke, don't really mind who I live with so long as you're friendly, polite, clean and somewhat social. I have some good stuff coming along with me like my brand new tv, my Xbox and PlayStation and my surround sound system. Have my own bed too. I am a security guard so I work nights mostly but I am quite social when i can be. I myself like a drink and a chat so roommates who are chill and fun would be sweet. I'm an avid dog lover so dogs are a plus
Hi, I am a very busy, full time working interior designer looking for a new place closer to Newcastle. I do have a little Maltese cross dog named Muffin who has to come with me. I am very sociable, clean & easy going and would like to share with people who don't mind having a chat, hanging out and maybe having a drink after a long day. Please contact me if you think you may have a room for me :)

Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a warm, positive, responsible, proactive individual looking for a new place to call home. I'm 35 and work in a variety of fields in part time positions doing business admin & in a freelance capacity in Event Management & the Arts. I enjoy sharing good, healthy food & meal times, a vino & vibrant conversation with those I live with & honour the space we all need to be happy. I have a passion for yoga, dance, art, authenticity, expression & expanding my inner & outer worlds whenever possible. I've just returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & adventure. I’m happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I’ve lived in large share houses & in duo’s, both have their pro’s & con’s – but the right mix is essential for a happy house. Space is important to me, inside & out, so no small apartments will cut the mustard. I've got furniture & appliances to contribute to the house & I'm completely house trained (am a bit of a handy-woman & even come with tools to help with odd jobs around the house). I enjoy living with mature, clean, positive & professional adults with a secure disposition that have their work⁄life⁄fun balance down pat. I've got a super friendly, indoor 13yr old female tabby cat. She's awesome company, spends most of the time sleeping on my bed & is a real gem of a furry friend, you're going to love her. I'm hoping to share space with conscious, connected people that want to create a home, not just a house to live in. Art is my life blood so a space to create is also a must in my new abode (perhaps the garage or a sunroom for example), I know the perfect home is out there! Look forward to meeting you Chat soon Jen
Fun, easy going couple, looking for a clean and tidy living space, very over the party house vibe. We both want to meet new people and live with fun young people who like to adventure and have fun without being drunk or on drugs. Faith is an artist and retail worker and Kieren is an apprentice electrician.
Friendly Clean Fair Easygoing Both an introvert/extrovert
This property is a modern fully furnished two story apartment. There are two large living room spaces with a big kitchen. The other two house mates are lovely! There is also a pool and spa for all residents in the middle of the complex. Wifi is at the home
Hey guys, I am Brodie, I am a 22 year old Youth Worker. I enjoy the beach and enjoying the sunshine. I like to have drinks every now and then but am definitely not a big partier. I don't mind having gatherings sometimes though :) I am mostly home during the day and enjoy reading and watching Netflix. On the weekends I am working but when I am not working I like a sneaky wine or beer and socialising! I am happy to move out with someone who is like-minded, tidy and relaxed. I am happy to meet new people and to have your friends over too :) I have a boyfriend who will be around mostly on the weekends :)
Hey guys, Ariel and I have been living together for the last 6 months and have decided its time to move into a bigger place closer to the action in town. We are looking to team up with 1 or 2 people who love Newcastle as much as we do. We enjoy skateboarding, burgers, coffee, the gym, quiet nights in, heading out for drinks, travelling, wine time (especially with cheese) and our 4 month old kitty 'Buki'. I'm (Steph) currently in my second year of a B.Social Work and work for the University. While Ariel is in her first year of B.Business & I.T with a Diploma of Languages at the University of Newcastle working in retail. We are looking for people who have respect for others, enjoy living in a clean space and who genuinely want to live in a home rather than just a house to join on the fun times ahead. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, we are both laid back easy going chickas just looking to expand our brood. Give us a call or text if you're a keen bean 04 06 27 94 00
I am Caterine, 26, PhD student at the University of Newcastle. I am from Brazil and I am a very tidy person (I clean when I am bored). I am quiet and easy going and I usually become friends with my housemates. =) My boyfriend, got me a puppy and he is about 6 months now (he is quite big though) but he is not trouble at all. He is actually adorable and everyone just loves him! His name is Ross and he is a Golden Retriever cross White Shepherd. Ross does not chew things inside the house as most of puppies do and I am training him (he is toilet trained and does not bark, unless when playing). He eats veggies if in the garden and likes doing a little digging when bored though. I am looking for a place that would accept me and my cute Ross!
Hi. My name is Tayla Brankley and I'm a 20 year old student studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Newcastle university. I work as a bartender on Darby St therefore have consistent hours, with majority of those hours being on the weekends. I'm looking for a clean, laid back person/people to move in with, who also occasionally like to go out and socialise. Moving date is flexible.
I am always up for a chat and I always cover my ends ahead of time. I work most days in town but either side of that I am always up for a laugh and a good time, be it cooking up a bbq or just having a few drinks with some good company. I am extremely tidy and rarely loud. Anything else you want to know just ask.
Hey all I'm a PhD student at UoN and the University of Zurich in Switzerland. Born in Athens raised in Berlin, I've lived in Zurich for the past ten years and had the chance to follow my professor to the other side of the world to do my research (history). I've been in Newcastle since February and I'd love to move closer to the beaches. In my ten years as a student I had lots of great experiences sharing places (out of those, a few weren't exactly great). I know what it takes to be a flatmate. I'm not very good at small talk but I'm a good listener. Sometimes, after a couple of drinks you'll have to shut me up though. I keep my stuff clean and tidy. I'm absolutely OK with cleaning regularly as long as we take turns or everyone does her/his part. Sometimes I work at home, sometimes I like to go to the library, sometimes I work on weekends as well and sometimes I don't feel like any of that. I get up relatively early and I need my sleep, so quiet weekday evenings would be nice. In my spare time I like to read and I love cooking. I don't know if I prefer coffee over tea, so I drink both. I try to keep exercising regularly but sometimes other stuff comes up... Oh yes, and I am engaged. So every 2-3 months I'm going to Zurich to be with my fiancée and hang out with my sister, visit friends etc. (Being able to sublet my room while I'm away would be a nice extra. But I'll live if that's a problem for you guys.) I'd like to move in sometime around mid September, maybe a little earlier. A furnished room would be welcome. Oh, and I want to live in a real shared flat, not some weird pseudo-shared place run and controlled by a landlord that chooses the flatmates. Feel free to ask if I forgot to mention anything. -m.
Super easy going, like to be social but love my space also. Can cook and live like a proper adult without too many issues. Shoot me a message with any questions! Keen to be anywhere in the Newcastle region. I also have a fair bit of standard house furnishing stuff (i.e. white goods and kitchen things) and id love to take part in furnishing a place. I work part time with Vinnies and the NDIS as well as studying engineering (not a nerd I promise ehe) at UoN. I like to keep fit and eat well. I am pretty easy to get along with and love a laugh, I'm not a huge partier but don't mind an evening bevvy or two on occasion. I'd prefer to live close to the city if possible. I'd hope to move in with someone that could potentially become a good friend. I play piano from time to time and binge watch way too much netflix. Any stay time from 3 months would be sweet :) If you're interested shoot me a message I can't wait to hear from you!
My name is Georgia, I'm 20 years old. I study full time doing primary teaching and work casually as a nanny! I won't be needing a room until November but want to start looking now, I'm positive and fun loving person, love to be social but also enjoy my own time. i love the beach, bevies and the occasional boogie!
Hey, I'm Tom and I am 22 years old. I've recently moved back to Newcastle after spending just over 6 months in Tasmania for work. I've lived in share houses before, so I know the drill! I am easy going, social and clean. I like going out for a bite to eat and a casual beer, but I am also happy to chill at home and watch some Netflix or game.
My name is Andrew. I am from Newcastle and I work full time as a Mental Health Support Worker. I have spent 6 months backpacking solo throughout Europe last year and have lived in different parts of Australia in my early 20's. I am considerate of others space, always clean after myself, enjoy reading, playing video games on my xbox (second controller ready) gym, bush walking and binge watch shows on Netflix. Do not hesitate in messaging me if you would like to know more.
The apartment is close to the CBD, within a 10 minute walk to the Honeysuckle Precinct and the CBD, walking and bike tracks are across the road, surrounded by restaurants, cafe's and pubs. On street parking, air-conditioned room with own control, own exclusive bathroom, security building with swipe card and intercom. Downstairs there is a providore, pilates studio, across the road a yoga studio and the best cross fit gym in Newcastle Lissome a 5 minute bike ride away. Two doors down is a pub and bottle shop and down the end of the street is the best sourdough pizza joint Masa Madre so what more would you want!!!!
Central to everything - short stroll to honeysuckle and the harbour. The room is huge and has its own verandah. Also comes with cupboard and extra hanging rack if needed. Has a nice backyard with a huge mango tree which is so nice all year round. Fully furnished terrace (except the room) with plenty of cooking equipment. Spacious enough but easy to maintain and i like to keep it uncluttered.
Hello! I'm 19 yo professional and am pretty tidy, quiet and like my own space but I would like to have friends over for dinners/drinks etc. I also shift between Newcastle and Byron, so I probably won't be home for a few weeks at a time. I enjoy going out to gigs when not at work. I also enjoy drinking beer and go to the gym when I can be bothered to! I have a 5 star rating on Uber too!!!
I am plenty experienced with sharehousing and I understand very well all the do's and don'ts. I am tidy and considerate in a shared environment, but enjoy using the public space to create a 'lived in' environment. I don't aim to be confined to my bedroom, although that's not really a risk because I love being out and about. I am also very much 'open door' with my family (just my mum, dad and sister) and couple of close friends. I really value having a healthy social life, but I'm a head down bum up studier so you will never have to put a pillow over your head when you have an avo nap.
I'm very clean and quiet I work a lot and do my own thing. I'm pretty easy going and always up for a chat
