Hi I'm Emma, a PhD student studying infertility I also have a friendly white indoor cat called O'Malley. I spend most of my time at uni (I'm there 8:30-5 usually), or at the beach. I also love to stay at home with a good movie cuddling O'Malley. We've lived in sharehouses for the last 3 years and he's so sociable with people and other cats. I'm a tidy person, and I'm pretty sociable. I love cycling, good coffee and brunch. I'm looking for a room with a wardrobe for all my stylish clothing, with friendly, tidy housemates. I make excellent muffins!
Hi there, I'm a 2nd year graphic design student at Newcastle Uni and part-time waitress. I am a friendly and happy person with a down to earth attitude and am respectful of others. I can be pretty quiet and tend to work from my bedroom. I love reading, making things and naps. I'm a night owl but am trying to like mornings too. I'm tidy and clean up after myself. I'm a vegetarian but don't mind what you eat. I love animals and the environment. I'm flexible with move dates. I'm looking to move closer to the city (I live in Port Stephens now). I want to be more involved in the creative scene Newcastle offers for designers as well as, music, gallery nights, and markets. I have a small dog, a Miniature Foxie named Sarah, she is about 2 years old and a rescue from Sydney, I've had her maybe 6 months. Sarah follows me everywhere and hides in my room when I'm out, though I don't like to leave her trapped for too long. Sarah is quiet, shy and skittish when first meeting new people and for some time after that too. I'm prepared to offer an extra pet bond to help us find a place if your keen. I have my own bedroom furniture and some outdoor furniture that doesn't have to come with me. I have kitchen stuff too but that also doesn't have to come with. I don't mind purchasing some other stuff if we need to, like a fridge or something.
Hey I'm Jack. I'm 29 years old and work full time Monday to Friday, usually fairly long hours. I'm a pretty relaxed, easygoing person so am usually up for a tea/coffee/drink and a chat most nights but also like my downtime. Ideally looking for people with a similar view on things to find a place somewhere east of Tighes Hill / Hamilton.
Hi!, I’m easygoing but clean, tidy and responsible. I’m originally from Ireland and have been here for 10 years now. I work in East Maitland and am studying to be a dietitian at UON. I have a dog called Dougal who is very entertaining! During the day I work and study and we usually like to go walking in the evenings. I also sometimes like Yoga and capoeira for fun.
Im a clean and tidy person who takes pride in my surroundings. I work as a good and beverage supervisor at a hotel running weddings. I am an easy going person who likes to wind down with a glass of wine or a swim at the beach. I do have an outside cat, Archie who is toilet trained and loves people.

Looking for a house with social easy going housemates who generally like to do the same thing. Moving date will be around 5th of November, but I am a a bit flexible with dates. The property is modern and clean. You have a choice of two rooms. The Queen bedroom ($220) is located upstairs and has built ins. The King single room ($200) is downstairs and is a smaller space, with a storage cube and clothes rack. Both rooms have ceiling fans and are furnished with beds. There is one bathroom but an additional toilet in the internal laundry. There is a deck out the back. The rent includes all bills, WIFI and Netflix. The property is close to the city. You can ride your bike and link up to Honeysuckle Drive or jump on a bus. It’s lovely walking around Throsby Creek. There are two furbabies that live at the property so you would need to like dogs as they love people.
This place is such a great place to live! It’s next to the water with beautiful views and lovely walking tracks to explore. There are plenty of little shops that you can walk to for food and groceries. It’s very close to town so it’s easy to get around and it’s great for students as it is extremely close to uni.
I am a 27 y/o creative designer that is looking to move back to Newcastle after 8+ years living in Sydney and Sweden. I love music, design, travelling, camping, Star Wars (hello there), video-games and keeping fit/healthy. I am extremely tidy, respectful and environmental. I am a little shy upon first meeting, but I come out of my shell in no time. I like to feel comfortable in my space - I will be walking around in comfort clothes or hardly any. I am a social creature and will definitely participate in house dinners and drinks. I like to be social on weekends and would like to host friends over for wine and such. I have a cat named Mishka who is indoor/outdoor and will be your next best furriend. She is house trained, loves people and will sleep on your lap if you're sitting long enough. My ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music, are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. I am interested in starting a share house. Move in date is flexible (looking for work before moving up) & length of stay but prefer 6+ months
Hi my names Kirsten, I’m 26 from Western Australia. I’m an exercise physiologist and recently moved from Darwin, NT. Steve is 32 and an electrician from the UK. We both love being social but not looking for a party house.
Hello. I'm currently a student at UON studying environmental science. I'm super passionate about conservation and interested in all of the important things including plants, fungi and lichen haha. I work for trees in Newcastle and at a function centre and when i get a chance i'm straight into the bush for an adventure. I'm quite the fermenter so if you like kombucha or kimchi you will like living with me. I'd love to live in a peaceful space filled with good vibes, colourful decorations and smiles.
I'm a super easy-going and friendly individual! I am easy to live with, pay rent on time and am super clean. Desperately trying to find something as I'm moving to Newcastle sometime in November and looking for something until February. I have a small cat who is trained, toilet trained and lazy - she's very docile and sweet and is content to stay in my room.
G,day. April here. Im residing back to Newy ( Novocastrian born and bred), to study Bachelor of Nursing and working part time to and from Syd in the Fashion industry. Terrible at 'selling' myself in bio's, so ill simplify it with dot points. * Well accustom to housemate etiquette * Always up for the following- outing activity ( live gigs, beach, bush walking/running), A Netflix or movie binge, Cooking up a barbie or a feast for family and friends, atc. * I can vacuum til the cows come home if i have the right soundtrack. Includes all matters of cleaning actually. * I own a set of wheels, so car pooling/ lifts/ late night early morning pick ups/ roads trips are A-ok!. Looking for a place with in roughly 15km radius of Newcastle city. Reasonable size room and built in wardrobe would be great! unfurnished is a-ok , though if it has a bed already thats a plus. Dont get the chance to go out alot but enjoy live music when opportunity arises. Dont have any special diets or restrictions. Pets are a huge perk. Looking for a pad that has easy going, just legendary chums and people. Cheers
High school teacher, looking to move closer to the city. I enjoy the beach, a cruisy night out, and spend most of my school holidays over seas. I have a cat, and we're kind of a package deal, but you won't have to look after him at all
I'm very easy going, clean up after myself and enjoy a conversation. I keep to myself while I'm studying (in room). I have a French Bulldog who is very sweet and happy - does not bark and can stay outside at all times if required. I'm keen to also meet new people as I have not always lived in Newcastle, have moved here for Uni.
I am working full-time in sales, I'm into music and movies, I like to unwind with a glass of wine and catching up with friends, I'm a friendly, sociable person, like meeting new people. I grew up in Newcastle. I get along with most people.
