I'm a 21 year old female Singaporean Chinese interested in finding a place to stay during my semester exchange at UoN from February 2019 - early July 2019. I'm currently in my third year studying Psychology and Linguistics at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and am enrolling at UoN for a semester's exchange as part of my graduation requirements. I'm expecting to stay in Newcastle some time from the 14th of February to the 1st week of July, and I am also intending to spend some times with some relatives in Sydney, so am pretty flexible with the end dates. Some of my interests include inline skating, cycling and playing the piano - I don't plan on spending much time indoors if the weather when the weather permits. I am looking forward to exploring the amazing water sports Australia has to offer! I don't have a license so I don't drive - I expect to commute either by bike or my skates. I am looking forward to exploring the amazing water sports Australia has to offer! I don't cook very much (mainly because I don't know how to), so I don't foresee any problems with me cleaning up after myself. I am a little clumsy sometimes, but am also generally a very responsive and agreeable person. I don't smoke, and drink very responsibly.

I'm about to commence my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at University full-time as of next year and am currently working three casual jobs (administrative in an emergency department, hospitality in a local vegetarian whole food cafe and tutoring several high school students) which keeps me relatively busy, where I work around 6 days a week between them. I am a lover of the outdoors, enjoy the beach & swimming, hiking, socialising and spending time with my friends, being creative and enjoy going to the gym each morning - so I would definitely say I'm an early riser, as I love to get out and make the most of the day! I am a very clean and tidy individual and am respectful of others belongings and space, I would say I'm neither introverted nor extroverted, but a nice medium in-between where I prefer to chat and socialise with others but highly value my alone time as well, so hopefully moving in with like-minded individuals would be beneficial for all. I would ultimately love to move in with a group of people who love having fun, work hard, love life & would be open to forming a good friendship with myself and have the occasional drink or meal together.
Hi, My name is Ashleigh - i'm looking for a room in a share house - i like doing yoga, going for coffee with friends, working, the gym and beach. I'm from Lake Maquarie but have lived in Sydney & London and around Newcastle. I'm a respectful and tidy person with a friendly personality, i'm happy doing my own thing and also don't mind socialising with flatmates, having a chat or the occasional catch up for coffee or house dinners etc. Have lived in share housing for a lot of my adult life so generally fit in pretty well wherever i go. I'm looking to move in mid to late January.
28 y/o creative designer with a friendly+low risk cat (Mishka). I am extremely tidy, respectful and environmental. I like to be social on weekends and would like to host friends over for wine and such from time to time. My ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music, are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. I am interested in starting a share house. Move in date is flexible AROUND XMAS/NYE length of stay but prefer 6+ months and around The Hill/Cooks Hill/Newy East area.
hi! Im great to live with because I am friendly and easy going and have been doing it for ages! - I do sometimes think Id like to have my own place to let my indoor plants free and crank the records up - but i think id miss the company. Im busy enough that you won't see me all the time, but happy to have a catch up and share a couple of wines when you do! I work in health - am moving for the job from interstate. Love the beach. Am trying to learn spanish for about the 4th time, and similar story with surfing. Han :)
I’ve been living in Newcastle for 3 years and love the lifestyle here! I’m very clean, tidy and respectable of other people’s space. I work full time as a client services administrator for an accounting firm. Looking for housemates who like to have a few social drinks and to go out for dinner :) I love going to the beach and checking out different cafes / restaurants, but also love chilling out watching a TV show or going to the movies. I’m a pretty chilled, down to earth person and I’m looking for similar housemates.
Easygoing, reliable, helpful, considerate. Been in a fair few share houses , I know the drill Been away from Newy a year or so and got some mates here. The locations I am looking at are so I can get down to the beach easy. Aircon bonus. Not sure how long I'll stay , but looking to do the share house thing so I can save up a bit for another house and also coz I don't mind an occasional yarn/vino/laugh/etc. I'm not really into online profiles etc but happy to have a yarn on phone / or email direct :) I work away and also like to travel when I can.

Air conditioning in kitchen area, ceiling fans in rooms but we get a nice cross breeze.
I'm 25 years old and moved to Newcastle just three months ago from the US. I've been working as an au pair since I got to Australia. My time with my host family ends in February, but I'm looking to move sooner than that, while I'm also currently looking for other jobs in the area. I'd be happy to lease a place for 6 months. I'm thinking about applying for my second year visa, where I would have to work somewhere rural sometime around June, which is why I am ideally looking for only a 6 month lease. I love the beach, good food, beer and wine, anything to do with music especially seeing live music. I love to be social but I also like having my own time to chill and be independent. I also love traveling and exploring new places which I plan to do a lot more of while I'm here in Aus!
Hey i'm Erin! I'm a Psychology student and I work casually at the movies. I'm tidy and respectful to live with. I like a chat and a coffee or wine but also like my quiet time. In my spare time I like seeing friends, going to the beach, exercising or reading a book. I plan on staying at least 6 months and am flexible with move in dates :)
The property is modern and clean. You have a choice of two rooms. The Queen bedroom ($220) is located upstairs and has built ins. The King single room ($200) is downstairs and is a smaller space, with a storage cube and clothes rack. Both rooms have ceiling fans and are furnished with beds. There is one bathroom but an additional toilet in the internal laundry. There is a deck out the back. The rent includes all bills, WIFI and Netflix. The property is close to the city. You can ride your bike and link up to Honeysuckle Drive or jump on a bus. It’s lovely walking around Throsby Creek. There are two furbabies that live at the property so you would need to like dogs as they love people.
Hello, I'm originally from the lower blue mountains. I moved to Newcastle to study environmental science. I love all things environment, in particular plants, fungi, lichen and moss. Apart from that I like to ferment things so I come with a pet Scoble lol. I'd love to find a peaceful place that feels like home. Good vibes, good people and lots of smiles. I work as a bush regenerator for trees in newcastle and also in hospitality at a function centre aswell as studying so I'm generally pretty buisy but would also love to find flat mates I could call family. I'm looking for a place with a cute backyard where I can sip tea in the mornings.
Looking for a place that feels like a home. We have both traveled extensively and really enjoy meeting new people and being outdoors. We love to cook and hope to be able to grow some veggies too! We enjoy cycling, camping, enjoying the beach and eating good food. I really like exploring new places! We have both lived in lots of houseshares so are mindful of living in shared spaces. Hywel is a wooden boat builder (handy for fixing anything) and I work in a mixture of admin and hospitality. We both work at Newcastle farmers market casually too :)
Very chill guy and easy to get along with. I currently work part time and study. I'm tidy and never miss rent payment.
Located in Carrington, the property is 5 minute drive outside of the CBD to Newcastle and a 10 - 15 minute drive to the beach, depending which one you like best. We run a fun and relaxed environment where we invite you to be yourself. We consider our property a social household but are more than capable of respecting peace and quiet and one's independence. This modern two-storey house comes with a great kitchen, gas top stoves and gas oven, tiled floors downstairs and carpeted on the stairs and the second story. Downstairs a reverse cycle air conditioner works amazing to break the sweat in summer and keep you toasty for any early mornings. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and built-in wardrobes. We have a gorgeous little courtyard out the back, complete with fire pit, vege patch and outdoor setting - great for a beer or a wine and a chill on a Sunday arvo. The room up for grabs is downstairs which accesses a private bathroom and shower directly from your room. The house has a garage, but we use it mainly as a chill spot and for storage as its a bit tight to get a car in. :) We also have a generous storage space under the stairs.
