Hi I’m Chels, I am currently Studying marketing full time online. I also have a part time retail job. I love binge watching tv shows like ‘Queer Eye’ all the way to ‘Mind Hunters’. Every now and then I go to local gigs and markets, so it would be cool if I had a housemate that would be keen to join. I like a good chat, but also like my own personal space after a big day.

Another novocastrian returning after spending a few years in Sydney. Good at cleaning up after myself, always pay my rent on time, fairly quiet and easy going but always happy to have a chat over a beer or cuppa - gin and tonic is my weapon of choice. Not adverse to communal activities but don't mind flying solo. Bit of a nerd so you will most often find me gaming or reading in my spare time. I also have a small dog (jack russell - 12yo) Max who is also pretty chilled, rarely barks, is fully house trained and loves a snack, cuddle or wrestle. Financially, I am currently only doing irregular work for a friend until I can find something more suitable up here and get established but I receive benefits to assist and am eligible for rent assistance in the meantime. I usually work in retail alcohol both digital and brick & mortar stores or pouring beers. If you think I sound like a suitable candidate for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm also more than happy to provide references. Happy hunting!
Hey I’m Victoria, I’m from Canberra moving to Newcastle to start a job on the 9th of April - looking to move down on the 30-31 March. I am looking to team up with 2 female housemates and find our own cool place to call home. I’ll be working full time Monday to Friday so prefer to live with somone who works similar hours. I’ve got furniture to fill a whole house including a spare bed so want to bring everything with me if possible!!! Everything is brand new appliances, TV the works. A bit about me; - I love a beer after work and even more on the weekends. - I’m a keen snowboarder so hoping to switch it up for a surfboard. - I’m loud and try to be funny but you’ll spend more time laughing at my clumsiness than my jokes - I’m mad about live music.. faves are sticky fingers and jungle giants - I have a puppy named Braxton he’s a small English Staffy and the best trained dog you will ever meet because I’m a tough love kinda mum. (He will be coming with me) - I’m super clean freak so don’t mind me when I clean up after you Overall I’m pretty keen to get down and find a sick place and make some new friends soooo.... Hopefully you read this and think wow what a cool lass, let’s team up and find a rad house we can call our own ;) Open to live anywhere that’s cute, happy to pay more for the master room.
Hi! I’m looking for a short term rental while I look for a whole house with a friend :) looking to stay until the first week of April, ready to move ASAP. Ideal for someone leaving their room behind while travelling, or while you search for the perfect housemate. I work 30 hrs a week in a pub and spend the rest of my time cooking, riding my bike and hanging with my girlfriend. It’s likely that I’ll spend 2-3 nights a week at her house anyway, plus working nights, so I won’t be around too much! If you have anything around Maryville, Wickham, Islington, Hamilton etc for $120-$170 a week let me know :)
Neat and tidy big room available in share house with me. I am a fairly cruisy guy who loves cooking, fishing, surfing the gym and the odd beer. The house is furnished... the room is not. It is on the bus route to Uni. Great neighbours and generally a Quiet area... great backyard for BBQ's... all in all a top joint!😀
I've been living in Newcastle for the past couple of months, my lease is up and now I'm looking for somewhere new to live! I'm looking for a place with a good location and some fun/sociable house-mates. Outside of work I try and stay active, (gym, skiing, bike riding). Otherwise, I don't mind the occasional beer/wine, I'm easy going, tidy and I'm an okay cook. If you think we'd be a good fit send me a message
Hi, my names Meg, Im a pretty easy going person that likes to spend time with friends and family and going out every so often but also enjoy down time to myself to relax and study. I like going to the beach, watching bulk series in one setting and having a good laugh at myself.
Hey, I am a working professional which I travel away for work every now and then. I love a good chat but also love my alone time. I love music but there's a time and a place for it being loud. I love the outdoors particularly the beach, travel and doing nothing. I have a queen size bed, lounge, coffee table and a desk so am looking for a large room to rent to be able to set up my projector to play playstation 😊 (fast internet is a must have) I would like to be able to invite friends and family over on occasions but not on a regulalry occurance. Anyways if you think you have a large space for me and my things please send me a message.
Located a 2 minute walk from Throsby Creek, 1 minute from the Carrington shops and cafes, 5 minutes drive to the heart of the CBD and beaches. This place is heaven! The house is light filled and spacious, with two living areas one which you can set up as your own if you would like to and an open plan kitchen/dining area. It has beautiful timber floors and huge windows with a deck and backyard. A French Bulldog and a Rottweiler both take residence in the backyard and are possibly the greatest dogs alive, so if you are a dog lover this will be ideal for you. I like to keep the house clean and neat, so someone with an appreciation for a comfortable, tidy home would be great! The room itself is quite spacious and has a built in robe and ceiling fan. I would love for someone who is looking at making this place their home too.
I'm a newly graduate lawyer who enjoys watching other people's dog have a good time. I don't use plastic bags at coles, would prefer to ride my bike to work and even at 5 ft tall I am convinced I don't need anyone's help reaching the top shelf. I like small coffees and singing badly to Ed Sheeran I'm looking for a room from April until September (even just a few months somewhere in between) so if you're going on exchange or travelling in general and need someone to rent your room I'm your girl.
I love to cook and have a fairly clean house . Happy to do some cookups with housemate's and friends , and can learn some songs to please as I enjoy playing cover's. I also restore furniture and I guess Id call myself a jack of all trade and master of none :) I thrive in a positive atmosphere and also have a lovely Kelpie cross Labrador . She is house trained but can sleep anywhere and happy to keep her outside if need be . I'm looking for a place with a bathtub if possible , I do get some backpain and I find relief from a bath better than painkillers.
I'm 23 year old guy, studying mechanical engineering and work in a bar. Easy going and very easy to get along with, enjoy socialising and having a good laugh, but also respect people's space. Enjoying having a beer and a BBQ on the weekend or just chilling and watching TV. Tidy, clean and always happy to help around the house.
Hi All, A vacancy has just opened up for a 16m2 (4Mx4M) room in a great location. Large deck out back with BBQ for outdoor dinning. Top notch kitchen with high end appliances. A quality renovation throughout the house was done a few years back. Kitchen and lounge is open plan with stone bench with bar stools and large bi-fold glass doors that open up onto the deck. The house is fully furnished with excellent gear such as sofa bed L-shaped modular lounge, 65" Smart TV, Projector and theater sound system. The place also has washer/dryer, dishwasher & coffee machine so everythings basically here. The spare room available is unfurnished with the exception of a small mirrored wardrobe (2x2M i think), and an awesome ceiling fan. I own the property, am in my mid 30's, shift worker and part time student. I live a life of balance between work, down time, social events and enjoy my hobbies where i can. I like to go for a social drink or meal with friends, into mountain biking, hiking, dirtbiking and camping etc. Outdoors guy lol. The other house mate is a friend of mine similar in character, male 36 and is a FIFO worker so only home 1 week out of 5. Looking for preferably a female 25 - 35 that will fit and compliment the house who is a respectful person that is easy going and rational. We want to balance the house M/F as my girlfriend from the states will be joining the house mid year who is a yoga instructor of similar age. Must be tidy and contribute with the general up keep of the household. Sorry no pets thanks. Bills are included in the room price with Netflix and unlimited TPG. Works fast as the property is close to the NODE. Possible to upgrade for a few bucks extra to 25Mb/s if needed. Parking available out the back, in the shed or on the street out the front. Throsby creek boardwalk is across the road leading into honeysuckle & the foreshore. Convenient location next to a bottle shop, 24hr 7 eleven, local bus stop and short walk to Wickham Train Station. Great places in close proximity of the property accessible by walking or riding for a meal and or drink to get out and about! If you have any questions please message me.. Cheers, Derryn O422 O84l25

A beautifully furnished room with huge built in wardrobe in the centrally located suburb of Maryville - 1 min from bike path to beaches, 5 mins from Maryville Tavern. We are a layed back professional couple (early 30's) with 2 cute and friendly French Bulldogs - dog door access to a backyard. We keep a well presented property and although have one full bathroom, there is a second washroom fitted within the outdoor space. Great outdoor deck area for relaxing, outdoor laundry facilities include washer and dryer and BBQ available for our new flatmate(s) to use whenever. Only looking to rent 1 of our 2 spare rooms. A young professional/ couple would be extremely suited.
I'm currently living on-campus at the university and am looking at moving off to somewhere quieter and more my own space. I'm currently in my second year of secondary teaching and i am also working casually averaging 4-5 shifts per week. My boyfriend Alex lives back home in Dubbo and is planning on moving to Newcastle to further his studies once he finds a job, so it would be just us 2! We are both super tidy people, love quiet nights in and always helping around the house. We both enjoy active lifestyles going to the gym & footy for Alex. We are looking for a peaceful home whether it be renting a room or whole property. Message me if you have any questions. Cheers!
I am a young lad who goes to uni and also has a part time job so sometimes I might get busy but at the end of being productive I like to relax and refresh by doing fun activities like going for adventures, swimming and the likes. I do like a few drinks sometimes to just relax . I am a social, nice person with a good sense of humour and my other strength is I respect personal space and boundaries.
I'm very well share-house trained :^) I spend my time making coffee at Suspension, watching Netflix, planning my next adventure & gardening. I'm not a big drinker/party-er but on the occasion that I get the urge, I'm lots of bloody fun I promise. Vegetarian that doesn't mind being around carnivorous folk as long as the remnants of last night's animal isn't smeared all over the kitchen from the night before 8-) So on that note I should probably mention I'm very clean and tidy and like to decorate my living space with super cool bits and pieces until it is an actual fairytale sanctuary but I'll probably leave stuff lying around and get to it later coz as a human I sometimes feel lazy and just want to chill out and come back to the mess in a few hours, lol. I love animals so am keen to bond with any potential fury friends you may have and additionally I find it really easy to find common interests and get along with just about any (good) human I meet. Kind of like a chameleon (Gemini ;) I'm queer and need to live with other queers or some super cool open minded queer allies. That's why you should select me to b ur new roomie^^^^ :D
Heyo I'm Anna, I currently work full time and have just started studying part time. In my spare time I enjoy keeping active, food and beer things and live music. I'm clean, tidy, respectable and enjoy socialising.
Looking to move away from rural Gloucester as I’m studying at hunter tafe a few days a week. Looking for a place to stay as work is being transferred into Newcastle as well,. Clean, respectful, private, social, beach, adventures, relaxed. Prefer a place with good street parking or off street, as I have to travel a lot.
Hi there, I am looking for a share house that is pet friendly and loads of fun! I currently live in Hamilton with 5 other people but will be getting my little pup back from my parents so need to find somewhere more stable for the both of us. I have lived in share houses for many years, so I am share house trained ... I promise! I love hanging out with my roommates after a crazy day at the office, but also respect each others privacy and space. Would love a place that feels like more of a home than a house :)
Hey there I'm Quinn :) I'm 25 and working full time in health. I've just moved over from Adelaide so I'm looking for a fun and friendly place to call home. I'm easy going, sociable and appreciate a good laugh. I've lived in shared accomodation for the past 5 years with some really cool people so I'm properly used to sharehouse etiquette and am very respectful of personal space. I’m no party animal but I enjoy going out for a drink or two over the weekend and am equally happy to chill out in front of the TV or with a good book. I like to keep active by going for a run or the gym or basically anything outdoors. If you think we'd get along, feel free to swing me a message.

I am looking for a clean and quiet house for me and my partner that we can go home to after a tired day at work. We are both working professionals. We are seeking a quiet home and a nice kitchen to cook, willing to help with chores around the house.
Hello! I’m looking for expressions of interest for my front (larger) bedroom with a built in robe. Tidy house with one female housemate and a small cat. The house is modern, with an internal laundry and courtyard. Current lease ends in June, I am moving out because my boyfriends lease is ending - and I will be taking some of my appliances with me
Ideally suited for single professionals or a couple to move in and potentially take over the lease after 3 months, if interested. I will be away most of the time. I am a single professional (in my 40s) working in the Digital industry. My interests are yoga, whole foods and such and I will be away except for a weekend or two in a month. This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home, quiet and centrally located. There is a lovely backyard, private and secluded, a little sanctuary which is low maintenance. One bedroom has a view of this backyard. You can move into the unfurnished backroom or take over my master bedroom. Depending on which room is taken, I will keep the other room, so you will be sharing with me, although I won't be around:) Key features: - Room 1 (4 weeks minimum) - $280/- including bills (electricity, gas, water and Internet) OR - Room 2 (4 weeks minimum) - $380/- for the master bedroom (furnished, incl utilities and internet). If couple, then extra $60 for the second person. - Rent due fortnightly, 4 weeks rent as security deposit. - Only street parking available. - I can ask the landlord if you have pets. The cat in the picture is only visiting:) The third bedroom is a study with a study table and bookshelf which can be used as a study and guestroom, the furniture will stay in the room. This room will be shared. Wickham is very centrally located, close to woollys and shops, beaches, Beaumont street and Hamilton station. Famous Wicko pub with live music on the weekends around the corner, if that's your thing. Please get in touch at the earliest if interested. Please note, I will outside mobile reception area until the 28th of March. Email is the best way to get in touch. Allow for 48hours for a response as I will only have access every other day. I can return to New castle to show you the place before the 28th if you are serious.
Hi there I’m an easy going tidy person. Healthy living, love outdoors and have interests in poetry art movies dining and walks. Occasional glass of wine. Love cooking. I’m moving to the area soon and prefer to rent close to the city beaches and cafes and transport. Looking to connect with another person who may like to share. Hello. (: About me. My name is Jess, I'm 26 and am working in the Childcare industry. I'm currently employed part time but work 4-5 days almost every week. I'm very clean and respectful of other people's belongings. I can't stand mess and things not being where they're supposed to be, so I'm always tidying up. I'm looking for an unfurnished room as I have my own bedroom furniture but no house furniture. I'm looking for somewhere that will feel like a home and not just a room in a person's house. I have quite a fun personality. I'm bubbly and outgoing and quite social but I'm also respectful of people's privacy and don't live a loud lifestyle at home. In my spare time I enjoyreading books, binging Netflix, going to the movies, shopping and out for food. (: If you'd like to know anything else, feel free to ask. (: About Gizmo. Gizmo is a 16 month old black and white, short hair domestic cat. He is neutered, completely house trained and an indoor/out door cat. He is quite friendly with others and loves all humans. He gets along well with other pets once he gets to know them. A bit shy at first as most people/animals are. I don't drive so parking isn't a necessity. (: If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. (: (If Gizmo is a no go, please shoot me a message just to know. Nothing is more disheartening than having your messages read without a response.)
Very easy going. Active, keep to myself but love to socialise.
I'm generally happy, easy going, clean and like to have a social drink sometimes on weekend. I like to get outside and explore when I can, I eat healthy in fact I love to cook I have a cat, he is almost two and is social (with other cats), friendly, affectionate. and playful. He has a scratching post so doesn't attack furniture and is toilet trained.
I’m a clean and tidy young female (20 in April), who appreciates their own space. In saying that, I don’t mind company and someone to talk to. I currently work part time at a bakery in Salt Ash so I’m always bringing yummy goodies home to share! In my free time I’m either out at the beach or exploring different places, or locked up in my room working on my art - either way I’m generally keeping to myself. I am a smoker and do have a dachshund, but if needed I can leave him at my parents.
I'm just a fun loving guy, tidy and relatively organized, love to take pride in where i live. Pretty outgoing, pretty happy with being on my own. Born and raised in Newcastle, never actually lived anywhere else, massively into cooking for others. I like to go out here and there when I can, few drinks around town, see whats on, usually catch me at some music gig in town. I don't play an instrument myself but I do like to listen to my music out loud, but it doesn't have to be loud to enjoy it. MASSIVE animal fan.
Hey my names Ty, i’m 21 years old i just moved to newcastle recently and would love to hear from people either wanting to team up or someone who has a room to rent be good to hear from you! i’m easy going, laid back easy to have a convo with. don’t mind having a few beers over the weekend usually out with mates but don’t make noise i’m looking for a stable place to live to get a job.
20 yo. ~ part-time uni student ~ casual waitress/barista Looking for a homey feel and kind people. I’m no partier but always love a good time, and up for a night out on the occasion. But yeh, definitely more refined to the casual beers at home thing. Cheese platters are very good too. let me know if you’re interested, would love to hear from you.
I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher, moving back to Ncle after a few years in Sydney. I have a cat, not a lot of furniture (I'm a regular purger of 'stuff'), and two motorbikes I'd want to keep off-street. Fairly quiet, (except for playing the piano), I prefer books and the garden and outdoor activity to being indoors watching TV. I don't watch commercial TV (hate ads), nor listen to commercial radio, but will happily binge a good show on Netflix, or listen to ABC radio or music while about the house. Currently I'm also applying for places to rent on my own, into which I'd bring a flatmate, and once I'm back north I'll be looking into the investment property market.
