I am a thirty-year-old professional about to relocate from Adelaide to Newcastle for a new job. I would describe myself as being friendly, easy going, neat and tidy. I am considerate of privacy and respectful of others. My health and fitness is important to me; I am a non-smoker and a vegan. I enjoy walking and a bit of yoga. As a musician, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my spare time. I love the ocean, so spending some time at the beach is high on my list of things to do. Looking forward to finding a share housing with likeminded, friendly and easy going house mates to enjoy beautiful Newcastle with. Cheers! :)
Hi! My name is Emily and I'm 30. My cat Frankie and I need a place to stay in the Newcastle area. I study Art at the Newcastle Uni and enjoy anything to do with being creative. I also like to go out to see live music on the weekends but generally I am quite quiet and enjoy my time at home. I am neat and tidy. I love to have a chat and a cup of tea. Frankie the cat is litter trained and desexed and one of the most chilled out cats you'll ever meet.
Hellloo! This little house is a 3 minute walk from Carrington Main Street. Although the house is quite small, it's quite modern and super cosy! A room has become available in the house I'm renting so I'm looking for someone to rent the spare room for the next 4 months until the lease is up. It would be perfect for someone looking for some short term accommodation :) Anyway, Carrington is the best! So close to plenty of beautiful places to exercise, a 10 minute bike ride/skate to Honeysuckle and Hunter Street, a 15 minute drive to Kotara and Charlestown shopping centres and surrounded by heaps of delicious cafes. This little house has a small backyard and patio area out the back, meaning it's great to have pals over for drinks/gatherings if you're in to that. The majority of the house is furnished (kitchen, lounge room, bathroom) though you would just need whatever you'd like to have in your room. I'm currently living in the bigger room with a wardrobe, though I'm more than happy to swap to help accommodate you! I've attached both rooms in the photos (keeping in mind that the second room will have everything moved out of it by the time you move in.) My ex partner and I were approved for a few animals - my bird and his cat, though he will be taking his cat to his new house so if you had allergies of some kind, you won't have to worry about it. If you had a small pet, I'm sure the real estate would be more than happy to accommodate for that. The bond is 4 weeks rent, (which was originally $220 a week - I've reduced it to help fill the room, and will cover the rest myself) meaning the bond will be $880.
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a warm, positive, responsible, proactive individual looking for a new place to call home. I'm 35 and work in a variety of fields in part time positions doing business admin & in a freelance capacity in Event Management & the Arts. I enjoy sharing good, healthy food & meal times, a vino & vibrant conversation with those I live with & honour the space we all need to be happy. I have a passion for yoga, dance, art, authenticity, expression & expanding my inner & outer worlds whenever possible. I've just returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & adventure. I’m happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I’ve lived in large share houses & in duo’s, both have their pro’s & con’s – but the right mix is essential for a happy house. Space is important to me, inside & out, so no small apartments will cut the mustard. I've got furniture & appliances to contribute to the house & I'm completely house trained (am a bit of a handy-woman & even come with tools to help with odd jobs around the house). I enjoy living with mature, clean, positive & professional adults with a secure disposition that have their work⁄life⁄fun balance down pat. I've got a super friendly, indoor 13yr old female tabby cat. She's awesome company, spends most of the time sleeping on my bed & is a real gem of a furry friend, you're going to love her. I'm hoping to share space with conscious, connected people that want to create a home, not just a house to live in. Art is my life blood so a space to create is also a must in my new abode (perhaps the garage or a sunroom for example), I know the perfect home is out there! Look forward to meeting you Chat soon Jen

Defiantly love a few beers over my days off but super. It's during my working week! 60+ hrs so bills and rent never a problem. I'm Very opened minded and love to socialise but I do enjoy my quite time a lot! I do have 2 dogs but I can arrange other options for them!
Our names are Emily and Jaymie and we're looking for housemates! We're 21 & 19 and are both in our second year of primary teaching at uon and also both work casually. We're both happy to pay around $160pw but can be a little flexible on the price. We're both very social/active people that love hanging out with friends and are looking for like-minded housemates! Send us a message if that sounds like you!
I'm needing to move for my uni prac (finished up in Armidale and ready to move now) My prac starts in July but I'm wanting to be settled in somewhere way before that. I'm not a typical party student but I do love going out for dinner/drinks plus just chilling around the house. I absolutely love baking and I do make some mean brownies, banana bread and a quality lemon meringue pie!! I'm super respectful of privacy but also up for a chat and adventures! I've been out of home for 4 years so I know how to keep a tidy house, clean and look after myself. So I'm looking for a room with the budget of $150-60 which includes bills or around $110-30 which just covers rent.
Hi, I'm a 26 yr old female, part-time student of Social Science, musician and work part-time. Looking for a homely place that's not a party house but also with sociable people. I come with a sweet record collection :)
Fulltime worker. Reliable. Respectful of others. Positive and outgoing. Healthy lifestyle. No drugs or parties. Outdoors lover. Clean and tidy. Single with a closeknit of quality friends. My ideal housemates would have similar values, love food and maybe a glass of wine, for when we catch up. If it's great weather, I'm generally out roadtripping with my dog. If it's raining, I'm keen to curl up with a book and a cuppa. Every other time, I'm at work or sleeping. Looking for a home closer to town and one or two female housemates. I have a big beautiful old dog who is an outside, well mannered girl. Dry area in yard is a must as our current home retains a lot of moisture in the backyard and it is starting to give my girl skin irritations. I'm adamant about keeping tidy after her, so please don't worry about that. I'm flexible on budget if the home has lots to offer. I would love to find somewhere that can be for at least 6 months and hopefully more. Move dates are also flexible and can easily be moved to suit.
Friendly Clean Fair Easygoing Both an introvert/extrovert

Looking for two housemates to join a new share house in Newcastle! - Bills to be split evenly - Happy to discuss/split internet options About us: We are a fun, social and outgoing couple both aged 24. We have been together for 8 years and lived together for over 5 years. We are both working professionals working in the Newcastle area and in our spare time we enjoy travelling, camping, being outdoors, meeting new people and socialising. We enjoy hanging out together and also separate and we are definitely not the clingy couple that you wouldn't want to share a place with! We will also be bringing a young, trained and fun puppy with us that you're more than welcome to love and walk and play with, but unfortunately cannot take on any more pets. About you: We are looking for two house mates who are easy going, preferably working full time but students are also welcome to contact us too. We definitely like to socialise and enjoy a few drinks but we are not looking for a wild party house. If you're interested, please reply with a bit about yourself including age, interests, what you do for work and we can arrange to meet for a coffee and a chat :) Cheers, Jess and Jai
~ Sydney uni student starting an internship in Newcastle ~ I'm a uni student from Sydney moving to Newcastle for 6 months for an engineering internship. I'm from up the coast originally. For the last 4 years, I've been living in sharehouses and student accommodation in Sydney... meaning I'm well-versed in the art of: flatmate banter/holding on whilst the bathroom's in use/tetris to maximise fridge space/cleaning up after myself, and related skills :P Bit of a cliché, but I'm very easy-going and friendly. Looking for a place with decent people, possibly also young/students, with whom I can get along with. I generally cook for moi, motivated by my affinity for carbs and faint past as a stingy 1st yr student. Nevertheless, I don't shy from a chat/chill/chai with roomies. I like hanging out with friends, I go for a run here and there, and like listening to music (dw, no blasting out loud). I'll be working Mon-Fri, and chilling out some of the other time. I'm pretty clean. Never lived in Newcastle, but I'm looking forward to it! Go the Knights!
Hi all, male apprentice electrician. I have been living in newcastle over a year i am renting in carrington but need a shed or garage so am seeking new accommodation, I am pretty adventurous and love having a laugh, im handy to have around. What more can i say?
A 20 Indonesian-Chinese business student in UON new campus (NeW Space). Currently finding place to stay during my semester year (strictly all females flatmates). Am an organized person and prefer cleanliness in the house.
Hi there, I'm looking for somewhere to rent for me and my 6yo staffy, Billy. A little bit about me first- I'm a full time retail store manager, love relaxing in my down time by heading to the beach or enjoying a glass of wine with friends. Billy- he's been an inside dog for the past 6 years, he's pretty chilled out, loves sleeping, going for walks and hanging out with other dogs. I have collected a bit of furniture (inc fridge, washing machine) as I've been living out of home since I was 17 so I'd be great to start a new rental with! Also got great rental references too.
I am from the Philippines. I will be studying my Masters in University of Newcastle come July of this year. Love to stay in a clean environment. Will be studying most of the time so I would prefer a quite place but very much open for some chitchat and strolling at park and beach. I'm looking for a temporary accommodation, though open to extend for longer stay if I'll like the place and location. Planning to move on 25th or 26th of July this year.
Hello. I am a 41 yo Community Worker, moving to Newcastle from the Mid North Coast for work. I am a quiet and tidy housemate looking to share with one or two others. I'm happy to socialise with you but am also able to give you your own space. In my spare time I like to see live shows and art exhibitions. I'm also a keen bush walker.
The apartment is close to the CBD, within a 10 minute walk to the Honeysuckle Precinct and the CBD, walking and bike tracks are across the road, surrounded by restaurants, cafe's and pubs. On street parking, air-conditioned room with own control, own exclusive bathroom, security building with swipe card and intercom.
I'm easy going, clean, well mannered & spend all my spare time either cleaning my ute, bodyboarding or taking photos (surf photography) I work shift work in the mines near singleton day & night shift with a 2 weekends on 2 weekends off rotating roster with normally 4 days off in between. I'm currently living in heddon Greta in my own rental but I spend all my days off in newy so why not live there? If I find somewhere to live I'll need to give my real estate 2 weeks notice, but I'm happy to pay the bond to secure a room 😊
I'm a 23yo recent engineering graduate moving to Newcastle for work from Sydney. I like being busy, I'll be working full time I will no doubt be at the gym in the afternoon. Other than that I'm pretty social person and will pretty much talk to anyone, real chatter. Love going out meeting new people, dinner, drinks, coffee, whatever. Also love pets and being active, getting outdoors. Looking for a place with a lock up garage.
Hi there, My name is Dylan. I'm 32, non smoker, I don't have any kids or pets. I would describe myself as more of the quiet social type. I'm clean, considerate and respectful. Looking to share as I've just recently moved back to nsw for work, currently working 6 days a week as an electrician. If you would like to know more feel free to ask. Thanks. Dylan

We're a couple from around Gloucester/ Forster area, we're both currently studying full time at the university of newcastle and looking for a new place before the start of second semester. Mason is an all round top bloke, He studies civil engineering and surveying and can pull off a mullet and a moe pretty well. He's pretty great to live with because can hold a friendly conversation but won't be in your face at all. He likes playing the Xbox and drink of choice would be a ice cold schooner of tooheys new. Jasmin is alright herself, she's studying writing at the uni and is a bit of a creative sort. Loves live music, bushwalking and reading. Pretty good to live with as she can talk about pretty much anything and is always there for a chat if needed. Drink of choice would be a double shot tequila sunrise when she's feeling loaded but lets be real, usually you'll catch her with a bottle of harddys charddy. We're both pretty good at keeping to ourselves or having a cheeky chat in the kitchen, whichever you prefer. We're both clean, tidy and love a good netflix binge. We've listed ourselves as looking for a place near the city but are open to suburbs close to the uni. We both have a stable income rolling in and the 280$ a week is our maximum rent SPLIT not each.
I'm offering a room for rent in my modern inner city designer pad. The loft-style apartment is light-filled with high ceilings, and offers a lush courtyard as well as a big balcony. The spiral staircase leads to upstairs, where there are the two bedrooms with built-ins and a huge bathroom. Downstairs offers a spacious open-plan living area, a toilet and laundry and little study nook with a desk. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances, including a dishwasher, and all brand new utensils and dinnerware for you to use. The room for rent can be furnished to your needs, including a double bed and desk, or if you prefer to furnish it yourself that's okay! Please note the photos are of the room completely unfurnished - but I can send through photos of the furniture I will be using. I am just aware that some people have their own. Any other home wares including brand new bedding and towels can also be included if you would like. All you really need to bring is yourself. The townhouse is centrally located and is walking distance to Market Town for groceries, Hunter St, King St and Beaumont street for pubs, restaurants and clubs and shops. Or grab a bike or skateboard and the whole of the CBD including the beach will be 5 minutes away. On-street parking is plentiful and nearby. The secure complex also offers an equipped gym and indoor lap pool so you can save dollars and cancel your gym membership ;) I will also organise a cleaner that will come to the property fortnightly and these services will be inclusive in the rent.
