I'm currently a student at Monash, looking for somewhere to live that's closer to the city. I've rented before, so I'm no stranger to cleaning schedules/respecting privacy/keeping noise down etc. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out salsa dancing, see movies/watch Netflix, or just get out of the house and do some sightseeing. I've lived in Melbourne all my life but I like to get out and about. I work casually in retail (10-20 hours a week), and also work at the MCG. I've never had a paying meeting my rent, but wanted to be upfront about my employment situation.
One self contained room available from 14th November n a house 5 minutes walk to monash campus and Caulfield train station. Room rents at $245 per week ($1061 per calendar month) includes internet. Tenants pay for their own personal water and electricity usage in their own rooms. Room has private attached bathroom with shower and toilet. The room has a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, heater, cooker and fridge. Only communal laundry, no other shared areas. Lease through to February.
My name is Ben, I'm 22 years old and I have a working holiday visa in Australia, basing myself in Melbourne. I just graduated from university in Canada and I'm taking some time off school, what better place to do it then on the other side of the world, right? I'm real easy going, love to have fun, meet people, go out, travel and explore, and I'm just looking for some cool people to live with while I stay and work a bit in Melbourne. I'm also a musician, so anyone looking for a jam or just to be creative with, I'm your guy.
I'm a student at Monash, studying bachelor of Science and Arts. I'm from Ireland but have been in Australia for about 3 years. I am a friendly, quiet guy who likes to keep to himself but I'm definitely up for a bit of fun. I've been living with family so far but my dad moves back to Ireland in March and I'm looking to stay on. I'm very clean and organised, I spend a lot of time either in my room or at my girlfriend's house, I'll be at uni a lot too while also trying to contend with a 20 hour working week at Woolworths so I won't be around that much. My hobbies include playing soccer (football, as I prefer to call it), reading and playing video games. I'm quite low maintenance and relaxed so I think I'd be pretty easy to live with. At the end of the day I just love to kick back with a beer and chill out so if you want someone who is easy to get along with, I'm your man.
This is a mini studio accommodation equip with own pantry, fridge, water basin, bathroom, and toilet. Good internet connection 24/7. If you area student and looking for an accomodation that is near the campus then this is the perfect accommodation for you. Just 5 minutes away from Monash Caulfield and 9 minutes walk from the Caulfield station. Friendly housemates, fully furnished room. The rent is $220 per-week and internet $50 per-month. I just moved to Melbourne from Israel for 6 months on a working holiday visa. Will work full-time and party on weekends. Looking for cool people to share a home with, cook and go out together. Lived with roomates for over 3 years, I am tidy, fun and easy to live with.
Im a full time carpenter so I'm up early and home early some days, bonus is i'm pretty handy and can fix just about anything. I'm easy going love a chat but also respect peoples space and want for alone times. A tidy home is a calm home, not a clean freak but will do dishes and vaccume. Never late with rent or bills.
Hey! I'm Tess, a full-time fourth year Monash engineering/commerce student working part-time for Monash HR. I'm about to finish two years of house-sharing in Caulfield South (ending Nov 30 so move-in mid/late Nov ideal!) with two awesome girls and am excited about meeting like-minded, fun, reliable, independent and intellectual individuals in my next house-sharing adventure. Previous to that, I boarded with family friends for two years (I'm from Queensland) so am very accustomed to supporting myself. I'm generally quite an outgoing, forward and assertive person who loves a great time with family and friends. On top of uni and work, I'm heavily involved with sport (handball - wooh!) and volunteering and tend to prefer the busy lifestyle - #achievinggoals. I tend to be out most of the day because of it. You will either find me on the absolutely serious, mature end of the scale or the absolutely 100% ridiculous end (what can I say, I like extremes). I spend far too much money on eating out, concerts and travelling to play sport; LOVE Italian food; will speak Italian when inebriated; and have a weak spot for salted caramel. I think Spotify and Uber are two of the greatest things and I aspire to play handball for Australia. As a roommate, you'll find in me a friendly, honest, genuine individual who is open to being your friend. With many interests, you'll catch me dancing to jazz with a glass of wine; out smashing half-marathons; watching TED talks or Q&A; attending free public forums; or learning a dance off YouTube. I value independence and accountability and will respect your home, and do tend to be OCD with everything but my room. Unfortunately (or fortunately maybe) I rarely cook.... But I will clean 100%. Much preferred. One of my current roommates will tell you I have FOMO. I take this to mean that I'm very good at saying yes to things and life and love to try new things. (Still working on the #worklifebalance thing). I get intensely focused and closed off when busy with work, however love the chats with wine and cheese on the couch or over (you) cooking dinner (and me cleaning up), a team Netflix sesh, walks in the park, a beer or two at a bar or random drives to find adventures. How good are weekends. In my future roommates, I'm looking for individuals who are genuine, kind, don't take themselves too seriously but take life seriously, who are either studying and/or working professionals and who are willing to live with me (probably key). Having interests in music, fitness, adventures, tech/sci and business/world in general means we'd probably get along even better! Understandably no one has to be anyone's best friend but I would like to live with those looking to form genuine friendships with the people they're bunking with. Re. the place I'm seeking. Ideally, I'd like to live with more than one other person in an established, clean, modern and welcoming house with more than one bathroom between 3+ and plenty of green about the area. My current lease finishes Nov 30 therefore I'm looking for a place I can start migrating to in mid-late Nov. Presently, everything is communal in my share-house (groceries, cooking, housework etc.) so am comfortable with that (pending agreement and alignment of tastes of course) however am perfectly capable of looking after myself. If you'd like to know more about me or have a proposition to make - please feel free to let me know! #findtessahome #findtesssomefriends Best, Tess

Potential housemates : -Would be considerate of others, reliable with rent/ bills - Generally tidy and able to clean up after themselves e.g: not a slob. -Able to crack a joke, and be silly occasionally. Hope to hear from you! :)
Hi there, thank you for viewing my listing. I am friendly, respectful, able to pay rent/bills on time and get along with most people. I enjoy exploring Melbourne, walking everywhere, spending time with family and friends, binge watching T.V. shows and just chilling generally. I am on the lookout for a happy and clean place with friendly house/flat mate/s for a long-term stay. I am currently a uni student working part time and will be working full time (in childcare) from early 2017. I am flexible in regard to move-in date.
Hi all, Currently, I'm living in a self-contained room (with kitchen and bathroom attached) near Monash Caulfield Campus (within 3min walk). I will be going back to my home country during the winter vacation starting from the 17/11/2016 ~ 28/02/2017, so my room will be available during that period. The room comes with a double bed, kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe, heater, and fully furnished. I will leave my kitchen ware for you to use if you need. Supermarket and Caulfield train station are within walking distance as well (5 min walk). I will need to collect 2 week bond from you which will be returned to you when you move out (if nothing is broken in the room). Should you have any further queries, feel free to send me a message Thanks, Anh
I am currently at Monash halls and am looking to permanently move out around the middle of November. I've spent nearly 2 years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.
