I'm a 28yo chick who has spent the last few years studying nursing in Ballarat (so I don't mind the cold and have a fairly good sense of humor) but I am flying into the city life and full time work in Caulfield South. Studying nursing full time hasn't left much time or money for hobbies lately but I'm a bit crafty (think crochet and watercolour painting) and love to ride my mountain bike and head off camping. My most prized item is my guitar that I still can do no more than strum a few on but love no less. I am fully house trained and love the idea of sharing an occasional meal, though neither of my current house-mates can cook so it's not been a thing in this house. Looking forward to hearing from you!

My name is Ben, I'm 22 years old and I have a working holiday visa in Australia, basing myself in Melbourne. I just graduated from university in Canada and I'm taking some time off school, what better place to do it then on the other side of the world, right? I'm real easy going, love to have fun, meet people, go out, travel and explore, and I'm just looking for some cool people to live with while I stay and work a bit in Melbourne. I'm also a musician, so anyone looking for a jam or just to be creative with, I'm your guy.
Originally from Perth, I'm currently studying teaching at Monash. I'm a quiet, low-key person at home, and when I'm not studying, I'm either baking or watching the footy. I've been living in a 4-person share house this year and definitely appreciate the need to be quiet, clean and tidy!
I just moved to Melbourne from Israel for 6 months on a working holiday visa. Will work full-time and party on weekends. Looking for cool people to share a home with, cook and go out together. Lived with roomates for over 3 years, I am tidy, fun and easy to live with.

**Looking for 2 rooms** Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm 24, work full time in Sales and am starting a digital agency on the side so will be working long hours 5-6 days a week. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!
Im a full time carpenter so I'm up early and home early some days, bonus is i'm pretty handy and can fix just about anything. I'm easy going love a chat but also respect peoples space and want for alone times. A tidy home is a calm home, not a clean freak but will do dishes and vaccume. Never late with rent or bills.
Hey! I'm Tess, a full-time fourth year Monash engineering/commerce student working part-time for Monash HR. I'm about to finish two years of house-sharing in Caulfield South (ending Nov 30 so move-in mid/late Nov ideal!) with two awesome girls and am excited about meeting like-minded, fun, reliable, independent and intellectual individuals in my next house-sharing adventure. Previous to that, I boarded with family friends for two years (I'm from Queensland) so am very accustomed to supporting myself. I'm generally quite an outgoing, forward and assertive person who loves a great time with family and friends. On top of uni and work, I'm heavily involved with sport (handball - wooh!) and volunteering and tend to prefer the busy lifestyle - #achievinggoals. I tend to be out most of the day because of it. You will either find me on the absolutely serious, mature end of the scale or the absolutely 100% ridiculous end (what can I say, I like extremes). I spend far too much money on eating out, concerts and travelling to play sport; LOVE Italian food; will speak Italian when inebriated; and have a weak spot for salted caramel. I think Spotify and Uber are two of the greatest things and I aspire to play handball for Australia. As a roommate, you'll find in me a friendly, honest, genuine individual who is open to being your friend. With many interests, you'll catch me dancing to jazz with a glass of wine; out smashing half-marathons; watching TED talks or Q&A; attending free public forums; or learning a dance off YouTube. I value independence and accountability and will respect your home, and do tend to be OCD with everything but my room. Unfortunately (or fortunately maybe) I rarely cook.... But I will clean 100%. Much preferred. One of my current roommates will tell you I have FOMO. I take this to mean that I'm very good at saying yes to things and life and love to try new things. (Still working on the #worklifebalance thing). I get intensely focused and closed off when busy with work, however love the chats with wine and cheese on the couch or over (you) cooking dinner (and me cleaning up), a team Netflix sesh, walks in the park, a beer or two at a bar or random drives to find adventures. How good are weekends. In my future roommates, I'm looking for individuals who are genuine, kind, don't take themselves too seriously but take life seriously, who are either studying and/or working professionals and who are willing to live with me (probably key). Having interests in music, fitness, adventures, tech/sci and business/world in general means we'd probably get along even better! Understandably no one has to be anyone's best friend but I would like to live with those looking to form genuine friendships with the people they're bunking with. Re. the place I'm seeking. Ideally, I'd like to live with more than one other person in an established, clean, modern and welcoming house with more than one bathroom between 3+ and plenty of green about the area. My current lease finishes Nov 30 therefore I'm looking for a place I can start migrating to in mid-late Nov. Presently, everything is communal in my share-house (groceries, cooking, housework etc.) so am comfortable with that (pending agreement and alignment of tastes of course) however am perfectly capable of looking after myself. If you'd like to know more about me or have a proposition to make - please feel free to let me know! #findtessahome #findtesssomefriends Best, Tess

WELL, IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN. Hey, my name's Alex & I've been living in here for around 4 years. A friend of mine & I were the first to find this place (i.e. we took it up when it was vacant) & instantly fell in love with it. It took us seriously about 5 minutes to decide that this was our new home. It's massive, so well appointed, so open & light-filled, has such a good energy about it and even after 4 years I'm struggling to find fault with this place. I mean, a house can always be improved of course but this one would take something like a jacuzzi in the courtyard & a rooftop bar with an outdoor cinema to make it noticeably better ;) We understand that most people base their next housing decision on commute times & public transport, proximity to their school or work, local amenities & services etc so we thought it would be helpful to give a brief rundown of the area in regard to these points : * 10 mins walk to Ormond train station, 20-25 mins to Flinders Street Station. 2 stops to Monash Caulfield. 4 stops to Holmesglen TAFE Moorabbin. * 15 mins walk to #64 tram, 35-40 mins to Flinders Street Station (via Chapel St Windsor & St. Kilda Junction) * #630 bus at the top of the street - 15 mins to Elwood Beach one way, direct to Monash Clayton the other way * Easy access to bayside and southern suburbs like St. Kilda, Prahran, Brighton, Balaclava, Elwood, Sandringham etc * All necessary amenities and services within a small radius - banks, ATMs, doctors, vets, gas stations, gyms, cinemas, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, libraries, bottle shops, 24 hour convenience stores, fast food outlets, major shopping centres (Southland, Chadstone) and factory outlets (DFO Moorabbin) * Plenty of parkland with exercise circuits, running/cycling tracks, public open spaces, off-leash areas for dogs, sporting grounds, swimming pools etc If there's anything in this category we've left out that you would like to know about please ask us & we'll be happy to inform you :) There's some extras here that you don't get everywhere : Pro DJ sound system with Serato & double decks for your vinyl pleasure... the sound fills the whole of downstairs so beautifully and is awesome for some relaxing chill tunes over dinner during the week or brunch on a Sunday morning. It's also perfect for entertaining, whether it be a small dinner party or a proper late night knees-up. You don't have to be a DJ to use it (although it would be awesome if you were - just saying), it's easy to just plug your phone or laptop in & enjoy. To be clear, this may be a proper sound system but it doesn't make this a party house. We all highly value our neat, quiet and civilised space especially during the week when cooking a good meal & getting a good night's sleep is essential. Out the back there's a huge paved private courtyard with 2x BBQ's and enough seating for roughly 20 (Summer Sunday Sessions anyone ??) It's like having the beer garden from your favourite local in your own house. We also have sun lounges, deck chairs, a ping pong table & an inflatable pool we can use in this area when the weather is right. It's a lovely little space, especially now that we just gave the garden a full spring clean. We're looking forward to Summer !! Apart from the cool extra stuff there's a huge galley style kitchen with double everything (ovens, sinks, dishwashers, pantries, fridges etc), ridiculous amounts of storage space, dual ducted heating & cooling systems, separate laundry with modern dual washer/dryer combo unit, single remote control roller door garage with home gym (not used for cars, it's more of an activity & storage space), unlimited adsl2+ from Internode, huge lounge area with 50" screen & external speaker system, Playstation 3, Chromecast and Netflix. Oh and we also have a NES Mini arriving soon if you happen to be into retro video games :) So what about the bedrooms ?? (Refer to photos above) The first bedroom (unoccupied in photos) is full size - easily fits double or queen size bed. Comes with optional double bed with as new mattress (2 months old, only 1 user). Good condition carpet, separate ducted heating and cooling vents, louvre window with frosted glass / holland blind / flyscreen, triple panel mirrored sliding door BIR's, and all utility points built in (electricity, pay tv, phone, TV antenna). Everything in working order and undamaged. The second bedroom is almost identical - same same but different you could say. Also full size - easily fits double or queen size bed. Comes with optional queen bed with as new mattress (3 months old, only 1 user). Good condition carpet, separate ducted heating and cooling vents, louvre window with frosted glass / holland blind / flyscreen, double panel mirrored sliding door BIR's, and all utility points built in (electricity, pay tv, phone, TV antenna). Everything in working order and undamaged. **PLEASE NOTE** The first bedroom is available indefinitely, the second bedroom is available from November 29 until roughly the middle of February (exact date TBC) when Madeline will return from her Summer work placement. In regard to furniture for the room, we can provide the beds as stated above, study desks, bedside tables, chests of drawers etc etc. If you happen to be a couple and already furnished that's also cool. If you're somewhere in between we're happy to offer what we can.
Offering a single bed in a spacious bedroom, shared with one other person. Room comes with the bed, your own wardrobe, a mini fridge and a large table. The bed comes with a mattress and linens can also be provided by the landlord. The room also has a great heater that runs fine. The house is quite large with five rooms, two of which are typically for couples. The kitchen is more or less fully equipped, with a microwave, stove-top, oven, and plenty of space to store groceries. There's also a standing freezer and fridge. There isn't a conventional living room, but we've fashioned the outhouse into one, and it has a large TV, couches, and a table. All bills (Wifi, water, electricity) are included in the rent paid on a fortnightly basis to the landlord. Till date, we've had no real problems with utilities. House also comes with a washing machine, but no dryer. We also have a massive backyard and loads of garage space.
