I enjoy good conversations, and meeting new people. I’m a very social and easy going guy who would enjoy hanging out with others over a couple drinks or binge watching Netflix on a quiet night in, Im also very considerate of other people’s need for space. I’m hoping to find a place I can call home with great likeminded people for a long term. Also my move date can be flexible either way by a couple weeks.

Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
I am Kristin, 24 years old, from Germany and coming as a grad exchange student in psychology to Monash University. I am a friendly, tidy, open-minded and uncomplicated person. I lived in shared flats not only in Germany but also for one year in India and for another ten months in Argentina. I like it to spend time with my flatmates and cook together or go out for a beer but also sometimes just spending time by my own. I love to sing and play the guitar, hike, read books and I am addicted to good (vegetarian) food and coffee. I am keen to learn new things and I try to play an active part in society for example in the feminist or the climate justice movement. Besides I like travelling and getting to know new places and people - hence I would love to get to know you too!
Hi, I am a student from Malaysia and will be studying at Monash University Caulfield for one semester, from February to June. I am easy going, understanding and friendly. I can cook and would like to look for a place that can be called as my second home.
Hi, We are a group six friends from monash university. We are a bunch of friendly Indians looking for a whole property to rent out. Preferred move in dates are somewhere around the end of February and the first week of march. Cheers!
I'm a friendly guy who spends his spare time socialising with mates. I've recently returned from 5 months travelling Europe and enjoy meeting new people which was strengthened further by this trip. I usually go out and catch up with mates on the weekends, love my music and have a broad taste of tunes, love watching footy and cheering on the swans in the winter. I grew up in Phillip Island and head back there at times. I studied journalism at uni and worked at a newspaper for three years before I went travelling. Would love to find good house mates who I can hang out with and become good friends
Hi there! My name is Marcie and I'm obsessed with art. That's why I'm keen to move from Brisbane to Melbourne and be engulfed by the culture and creative community over there. I'm a very clean, respectful and polite housemate who loves to cook. The social aspect of share houses is very appealing to me too, as I love to be around people. At the moment I work full time hours at an ALH pub and plan to get a transfer to Melbourne, so I would have a job as soon as I get down there. I'm also about to start a dual Arts/Fine Arts degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). For fun I like to read, make art and go to gigs. Can't wait to meet you xo M
Hey! I‘m a 23 year old student from Germany looking for a room in Melbourne East for my year abroad at Monash. I’ve been living in shared flats since I was an undergrad student and I would like to proceed this tradition abroad 😉 I am also looking forward meeting new people to make the most of my time in Australia. I would describe myself as a laidback and reliable person. I like memes, doing sports, video games and netflix, and going out. So, I guess what everybody likes to 😉. As a roommate, I mainly qualify by cooking not only fairly passable, but also regularly too much for myself. I’m also clean and tidy and respect others private space. I will be moving to Melbourne on 10th February, so unfortunately, I can’t come to inspect the flat/house before, but it would be great to get to know each other via skype. Cheers, Leon
Hi there! I have lived in Brisbane, Shrewsbury (UK), Coventry (UK), and Montreal (Canada), but am originally from Malaysia. I am friendly and polite (at least I think so), and love good food. I will be commencing full-time postgraduate studies at Monash (Caulfield) this year, and am looking for a place to live. The 6 months length of stay listed on my profile is really more or a minimum period rather than a preferred length. I'm neat, clean, and tidy, particularly when it comes to common areas, but not to the point of being obsessive about it. I don't tend to make a racket unless we're all getting excited over games night together. I tend to try to help out around the house where possible, and I will never be tardy with bills. I tend to prefer a night in with good company (board games, a drink or two, movies etc.), but will also gladly go out for a drink and meal now and then. I enjoy hiking, swimming, skiing, and badminton. Not exactly a pro, but I'm always happy when I get the time to do any of them. I can also chat a bit about Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and a few other fantasy novels/authors if that's your kind of thing. In Melbourne I'd probably like to watch stand-up comedy, live music performances, and theatre shows every once in a while. I don't smoke or have pets, although quite frankly I'd be very happy to have canine or feline roommates.
I'm Chanelle, I'm 26 and studying a master of nursing. From late February I'll be going to uni in Clayton two days a week, have placement at the Alfred three days a week, and will be working 3-4 shifts per week. I'm very neat, respectful of other people's space and belongings, I really like to cook, and I enjoy a glass of wine here and there. I'm social but too busy to party all the time so I'm looking for a room in an established share house with likeminded, friendly people :)
Hi! I'm a 25 years Mexican Project Manager. I'm travelling to Melbourne to study Web Development at Holmesglen Institute. The plan is to stay 1.5 years. I work in my own business and as a freelancer for two Mexican agencies, and will continue remotely from there. Regularly I'm very quiet and enjoy to keep for myself, but also enjoy hanging around and taking some drinks with friends. Basically, I only need a good Internet connection to work and to study. You will never note if I'm or not at home. Hope my profile fit with the flatmate you are searching for. Best!
