Hello Everyone, So a little about us; We're both tidy, we like our privacy and respect others privacy as well, and we also love a good chat with the housemates we do live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). We are looking for a nice homey feel, a place we can look forward to coming home to from work that has some cool housemates, a clean house and a loving supportive environment. We would love to have people that are like minded in some ways living with us and looking toward the future with a positive outlook. A house with a good front or backyard (grassy) for Gavins gardening and a big bedroom is what we seek.

I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my beautiful fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, cooking and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move in about a months time (start of August). If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
We are a fun-loving household that really appreciate each others company! However, our house is large and there is always room for yourself. We are in close proximity to the bay, and both Monash University Campuses. Situated in a family-friendly neighbourhood, it truly is an amazing spot!
Huge room available in double storey 4-bedroom townhouse with studio in Caulfield South. Available for single, roomshare or couple. Proposed move-in date is June 29, negotiable subject to the outgoing tenant's approval. WELL, IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN. Hey, my name's Alex & I've been living in here for around 5 years. An old friend of mine & I were the first to find this place (i.e. we took it up when it was vacant) & instantly fell in love with it. It took us seriously a few minutes to decide that this was our new home. It's massive, so well appointed, so open & light-filled, has such a good energy about it and even after all this time I'm struggling to find fault with this lovely place. In fact, it's so comfortable that we hope we don't need ever to move again. We understand that most people base their next housing decision on factors like commute times & public transport, proximity to their school or work, local amenities & services etc so we thought it would be helpful to give a brief rundown of the area in regard to these points : * 10 mins walk to Ormond train station, 20-25 mins to Flinders Street Station. 2 stops to Monash Caulfield. 4 stops to Holmesglen TAFE Moorabbin. * 15 mins walk to #64 tram, 35-40 mins to Flinders Street Station (via Chapel St Windsor & St. Kilda Junction) * #630 bus at the top of the street - 15 mins to Elwood Beach one way, direct to Monash Clayton via Huntingdale Station the other way * Easy access to bayside and southeastern suburbs like St. Kilda, Prahran, Brighton, Balaclava, Elwood, Sandringham, Highett, Cheltenham etc * All necessary amenities and services within a small radius - banks, ATMs, doctors, vets, gas stations, gyms, cinemas, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, libraries, bottle shops, 24 hour convenience stores, fast food outlets, major shopping centres (Southland, Chadstone) and factory outlets (DFO Moorabbin) * Plenty of parkland with exercise circuits, running/cycling tracks, public open spaces, off-leash areas for dogs, sporting grounds, swimming pools etc If there's anything in this category we've left out that you would like to know about please ask us & we'll be happy to inform you :) There's some pretty sweet extras here that you don't get everywhere : Pro DJ sound system with double decks for your vinyl pleasure... the sound fills the whole of downstairs so beautifully and is awesome for some relaxing chill tunes over dinner during the week or brunch on a Sunday morning. It's also perfect for entertaining, whether it be a small dinner party or a proper late night knees-up. You don't have to be a DJ to use it (although it would be awesome if you were - just saying), it's easy to just plug your phone or laptop in & enjoy. To be clear, this may be a proper sound system but it DOES NOT make this a party house. We all highly value our neat, quiet and civilised space especially during the week when cooking a good meal & getting a good night's sleep is essential. Out the back there's a huge paved private courtyard with a decent BBQ and enough seating for roughly 15. We also have sun lounges, deck chairs, a ping pong table & an inflatable pool we can use in this area when the weather is right. It's a lovely little space even in winter with the fire pot roaring & a nice glass of red to keep you warm. Apart from the cool extras there's a huge galley style kitchen with double everything (ovens, sinks, dishwashers, pantries, fridges etc), ridiculous amounts of storage space, dual ducted heating & cooling systems, separate laundry with modern dual washer/dryer combo unit, single remote control roller door garage with home gym (not used for cars, it's more of an activity & storage space), unlimited adsl2+ from Internode, huge lounge area with 50" screen & cinema speaker system, Playstation 3, Chromecast, Netflix and a NES Classic Mini. So what about the room ?? The second largest bedroom in the house - easily fits a queen size bed with bedside tables and a desk. Good condition carpet, separate ducted heating and cooling vents, louvre window with frosted glass / holland blind / flyscreen, triple panel mirrored sliding door BIR's, programmable digital security deadlatch, and all utility points built in (electricity, phone / data, TV antenna). Everything in working order and undamaged. Would suit single, roomshare or couple. In regard to bedroom furniture we can provide a queen size bed, study desk, bedside tables, drawers, bar fridge etc (plus some communal fridge space downstairs if needed). If you happen to be a couple or already furnished that's also cool. If you're somewhere in between we're happy to offer what we can.
I am a friendly, easy going, positive, clean, tidy and respectful housemate and tenant. I am happy to have a chat over a meal or tv show or to respect your personal space and privacy if you like to keep to yourself. I am a vegetarian, animal lover and LGBTQI+ ally. I keep busy most of the week with study, work and exploring all Melbourne has to offer. My hobbies include playing and listening to music, going to music concerts, watching tennis, reading, cooking, travel, watching film, going to art galleries and museums, going out, hanging out with friends, exercising/team sports, crafts and trying new things. I have spent the past 4 or so years renting with others so I have lots of experience. I would like not only a house but a home and if living with others would like to form friendships. :) Please get in touch if you think you have the place for me! Cheers.
Hi, I am a master student from Indonesia, I'm looking for friends to stay together in a shared house/apt. I am very open minded and able to accept any difference in cultures and religions or believes. My hobbies are martial arts, online games (mmorpg), japanese culture, modern tech, and some other common activities. I'm not really into party and stuff, but I'm not againts it either :)
Hi! I'm Ting. Will be starting my postgrad course in data science at Monash in July. I love sports, burgers, coffee, and spending quality time with friends and family. I do crossfit, weightlifting, and surfing on a regular basis. Basketball, skateboarding, biking, and hiking are also my interests. I'm pretty chill and easygoing. I like to make friends, hang out, have fun but I'm not here to party. I want to focus on my study and build a career as a business/data analyst in sports-related fields. I like to plan ahead but still have some flexibility. I believe that being honest and be willing to communicate are important in having a great flat sharing experience. It'll be cool if we can be friends or workout partners but if not it's no problem, too. I've traveled to over 10 countries and done a 29-day train trip around the United States. What I learned the most from my trips is that a lot of time there's no right or wrong, it's just different. It's alright if we don't share the same values or views. I'd respect your opinions and appreciate that you help me to see things from a different perspective. Since I love sports, I'll be bring some workout gears and possibly get a surfboard or bike after I settle in. I'll keep my things neat and out of your way. I'll definitely respect our shared space and clean up after myself. Also, I'll respect your privacy and your personal life. Meanwhile, I expect the same from you. Feel free to talk to me or ask questions if you are interested in being flatmates. Or if you want to meet up, I'll be in Melbourne after July 10th. Thank you :)

I am an easy going, flexible, well mannered, chilled and chatty individual. I have lived in a house sharing situation for about 10 years now so know all about respecting boundaries, general cleaning and tidying routines, helping out with whatever it is and limitations around social gatherings. I have never had any issues in the past and happy to provide references, should it be required. I am a full time civil engineer working in the city so ideally looking for something within 30 minutes walk/ public transport to the city. I have a car, which will probably only be driven during the weekend. Hence I will need some form of parking, flexible with whatever it is. Besides work, I am currently studying a masters part-time and looking on getting back to playing tennis, cricket and soccer. I enjoy my food and generally cook once or twice a week. I don't have any furniture or kitchen utensils so would ideally be looking for a reasonably sized room that is furnished (double bed, desk, wardrobe) and an equipped kitchen. However, if I find the place and occupants to be ideal, I am happy to buy some furniture. Let me know if you are interested, and I am sure I will have more to share. Thanks.
