I am the girl in the middle of my profile photo. About me: the names Leah. I don't like it when it's pronounced Lee; however, I do love referring to myself as Lee Lee, there's a riddle for you. I enjoy rising early. I am not noisy. I probably wake up half an hour earlier than needed just so that I can dawdle through my routine. I like waking up when it's dark and knowing that half the country is still asleep. Job: I am and have been in the community care industry for over 8 years. I teach yoga as a side gig. I am currently studying registered nursing, it's killing me, I find it provides those regular emotional deaths/burn-offs. Need to know: I use the kitchen for almost all my meals. I like to have fresh produce and enough of it available to me so that I won't cave and order an uber eats. I need to have a gas stovetop, access to a kettle and fridge space (a clean fridge). Non-negotiable: Car space, on-street, slightly off-street, bay, I just need one. Cleanliness and tidiness: I've never seen the Netflix series or read the Maria Kondo book, I don't need to. I have been Kondo-ing since I was a wee lass. Communication: As uncomfortable as it can be it is highly valued, furthermore entirely necessary, we are adults, that doesn't mean jokes are off the table it just means that if I do something you don't like and it has grounds, don't harbour that and begrudge me for it, tell me, and we will move forward from there, simples (damn "they" nailed that tagline). Life philosophy: Clothing optional It's all a matter of perspective. Stay classy Random things that popped into my brain: My sense of humour varies from witty, dry, disgusting, sarcastic, tangential. I am prone to breaking out into song. I own an unironic framed portrait of Jordan B. Peterson. I do short and long water-only fasts throughout the year my max so far is 6 days, no food. The UFC is my favourite sport, if you would like to watch me nervously tick while watching it, I would be glad to have a friend. Frequently listened to podcasts: Skeptic Tank The Joe Rogan Experience The Cabral Concept Waking up Wise Traditions Ben Greenfields Fitness The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast the list goes on... Books I read this year: Dark Emu Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy The Laws of Human Nature Maps of Meaning (still going with this bad boy) Animal Farm Models Clarity 12 Rules for Life Daring Greatly The Madness of Crowds The Power of Now The Obstacle is the Way My diet: Flip that 90's food pyramid upside down, and that's my diet. If you get excited about salads with goats cheese, excellent olive oil or butter on top of freshly steamed broccoli and whipped cream with berries I would be more then happy to make up household meals although it will involve me screaming at the top of my lungs "DINNERS READY, COME AND GET IT WHILE IT'S HOT!!!" yanno, coz, Mums. Stock Inventory: Queen size matress Small study desk Small cabinet x2 Small Persian rugs x2 Pets: No pet. I would like to get two goldfish or a Mexican walking fish. I would call the fish Mum and Dad. That way if I wanted to get out of a situation I could tell people I have to go home and feed Mum and Dad.
I'm a very friendly and social third year film student with a job in foof production. I'm pretty chill and like meeting new people. I have my own furniture and car and I like to be punctual with payments and household responsibilities.
Our Flat is in an awesome location in South Caulfield with easy access to Glen Huntly train station, tram and gym/shops/cafes and 24 hour supermarket. The apartment is located on the top floor with nice tree lined views of the street. The apartment complex is very secure with a locked gate at the front and secure corridor to the apartment itself. The kitchen has a modern gas stove and oven and also includes a dishwasher. We also have a washing machine in the bathroom.
Hi! My name is Marle, I am 23 years old and come from Maastricht (The Netherlands). I am a biomedical sciences student and I'm going to Australia for my final 7-month internship to finish my master. I am a spontaneous girl who likes music, going out with friends, and meeting new people. I am looking for some nice and friendly housemates who would love to hang out together, but also respect privacy at times.
Hey! I'm James, 26, gay, from New Zealand. I am a reliable, friendly, fun, loving, adventurous sporty guy. I love the outdoors and trying new things. I am exceptionally clean/tidy. I have recently relocated to Australia, and loving it! I work full time as a sales manager for a logistics company. Looking forward to the exciting challenge ahead! My ideal future housemates would be like-minded, down to earth, likes the outdoors and just an all round clean, tidy good bunch of people that would like to chill out together with a beer or 2. Someone who I can become good friends with and to be travel guide (not essential) haha. Ultimately I would like to find somewhere that will be happy to have me more permanently, I also have a vehicle and would ideally like off street parking. Any questions, feel free to get in touch. :)
