2 Rooms for Rent in Kensington - $140 per week ($608.25/month) My housemate, Em, and I have two unfurnished rooms available at our house in Kensington. We are situated a 5-minute walk from both Macaulay and Kensington Train stations as well as to the 57 tram along Race Course Road, and a 10-minute drive to the CBD. We are both 24, work full time and often have friends around for drinks on weekends. We are looking for housemates that are young, friendly, respectful, very clean, and most importantly are open to having beer brewed in the house and visiting the local RSL! (We may also be persuaded by anyone with a washing machine). Our tropical cottage provides bungalow, gorilla, and view of a palm tree and comes with mostly furnished communal areas. Gas, water, electricity and Internet are split evenly, separate from rent. Rooms are available Feb 18th.
Hello! We are Liam and Stephanie are an English couple looking for a room/flat share from the 20th January for 6 months ideally in St Kilda or close to the area. Hi everyone! My name is Josh, I'm 20 and I am a muso. I am looking to move in toward the city to study music this year, and am lookin for a room! I am really friendly, easy going and responsible to live with, and I am very clean and tidy. I love socialising and nights in with Netflix, and love cooking up a good feast! Please don't hesitate to message me on here :)
My name is Hana, I'm a kiwi gal about to start work as a nurse at Footscray hospital, looking for a chilled out flat where people are social but also give each other space. I worked around a bunch of pubs in WA for a couple of years before starting uni 4 years ago and now that i've got some spare time I'm trying to grow some hobbies/ an actual life! I like cooking big meals and sharing new food ideas, netflix, a bit of salsa dancing and yoga, and I've been teaching English to an Iranian refugee. I've been living in sharehouses for about 6 years now. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your flat, happy to get coffee or a beer sometime to meet 🙂
We are an easy-going and fun couple looking for a new place to call home. We both work at Melb Uni (Charlie in Malaria research and Martyn in international relations), so we would ideally like to live somewhere with easy access to public transportation (walking distance would be awesome!). We have a bit of furniture and a few appliances, but if the apt/room is furnished, we would be able to sell some of what we have collected over the years. The lease for our current place is up mid-February. We are hoping to find a place that we can move into sometime in February, before the 12th. About us: We both love to cook, go out occasionally and spend our time outdoors when the weather cooperates. We both have lots of experience living in share houses (both social and respect others' privacy). Hope to hear from you soon!
Since I have to work and go to school at the same time, i wont be at home a lot of time. But when i do, i am a very social-able person who like to do things together, hope to find a open minded and easy going housemate.
Hi, we are a couple of young people and we just recently started looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane at end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are a must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshare or flatshare and comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quiet atmosphere. Please message us if you think that you have the right spot.
I'm a young professional working in corporate strategy and am completing post graduate study in medicine. I love cooking but am rarely home due to work/uni commitments. I love travelling, food, fashion, music and art. I love having dinner with friends and spending time out but also enjoy some down time, as I get it so infrequently.
Hi all, I'm James, a 4th year engineering student studying at RMIT. I have a steady income, working within construction management part-time, 3+ days a week, with additional retail work available over weekends as required. I'm easy going, open minded, clean, and a non-smoker. I enjoy running amidst other outdoor pursuits as to stay fit and adventure. I greatly enjoy baking, coffee, and unwinding by our beaches. Further, when I’m out I appreciate a beer amidst our live music scene, and if we're in, I’ll never say no to Mario Kart. I maintain a large garden and vegetable patch at my current home, so should your place contain either of these, I am capable and content in looking after them. I'm looking for a clean and neat place with friendly and social housemates. I'm ready to move in as of the 26th of December, 2016. Car parking, off street or otherwise, is necessary for my work. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi! My name is Kenjoe. I am currently working full time in a FinTech company. I'm a fairly easy going person who likes to experience new things. Non-smoker and occasional drinker. I am looking for a shared place in the inner city suburbs or to team up with one another person (preferably around my age). My anticipated move date is around late April/early May but it is not confirmed at this point, just scouting around at the moment. Feel free to message me to find out more. Thanks guys!
I'm easy going, clean, and considerate. I am quite active. I enjoy going to the gym and playing ultimate frisbee. I am moving down to Melbourne after 2 years of study in Brisbane! I recently got a job as a physio in Braybrook so I'm hoping to stay near there :). I like my quiet time but also want to bond with flat mates.
Im a PhD student at Monash Uni. I would spend most of my day at uni (sometime even weekend) and night at home. I'm a Buddhist and will chant daily ;) My friends will visit me sometimes to chant and study together. I'm really easy going and can pay rent on time :)
I come from a large family, so am used to communal areas but also love me some privacy. I am a tidy, busy student. Working random weekends running a photo booth, I teach piano and am looking to get into after school care. I am keen to live around Essendon as that is where my grandparents and a lot of my extended family are. In 2017 I will be returning to uni to continue my Bachelor of Primary Education! Moving date is flexible! Hope to hear from you!
Im 29, doing my masters at Vic Uni right now (still 2 semester more to go) and am looking for a new home in the beginning of January, since our lease is up. I think I'm pretty laid back, always up for a drink but also am fine with sitting in the sun with a good old book. I'm looking for a medium or large size room at a nice house, which has preferably an outdoor area. I also could bring some furniture to the new potential house. Let me know if I meet your future housemate profile and I'd love to come and swing by :) Have a good day
I'm currently studying Industrial Design at RMIT as well as part time bartending. I'm super relaxed and always up for a drink and a chat. I'm a clean and tidy person but not a neat freak.

Hi, I'm a communications student studying at VU. I've just returned from a semester on exchange in the US and I'm looking for a place to live near VU while I finish my degree. I'm easy going, neat and sociable. I ride a motorbike, listen to mostly grunge and rock, like to travel, go out and have a drink and maybe see some live music, watch netflix and I'm a mad Hawks fan.
We come from Lyon in France, we came in australia to become more open minded, discover a new culture and mix with others. We are funny and interristing, we all do something different... Very sympatic, sociable and serious. Let us a chance to convince you. Best regards Bastien, Jenna and Jeremie
I am a respectful, honest and clean person. I work at a waitress and in childcare centre. I like having my own time but also share some time a meal, cook for everyone, have a drink and a good laugh. Hope to hear from you if you think we could live together.
Hi there, I'm a 26 year old male, working as an IT project manager in South Melbourne. Lease is expiring at our current rental so looking to move somewhere in the same area Pretty easy going and respectful, but enjoy socialising and sharing a meal. Also enjoy traveling, cycling and watching the footy! Currently have furnishings for a bedroom, but nothing else, so looking for a place/ team up where that would fit in Also I don't have a car so parking isn't an issue Cheers, Ben
My name is Patrick Nicoll. I am a 24 year old who will be working full time as an Investment/Financial Analyst for the first two months of the year, after which I will be commencing a Master of Economics at the University of Melbourne whilst working as a private tutor and teaching/research assistant at the university. I have been travelling by myself for the last six months of 2016; to New Zealand, America and Western Europe and have just returned to Australia and am looking for a place to call home for the next year to two years. I am a social, relaxed and friendly person but also enjoy my own independence and space. I love contemporary jazz (I particularly enjoy going to all the great jazz clubs in Melbourne), film and theatre, contemporary art and all things food related! I also love to chat about economics and politics, but I am well aware many find it to be rather dull!!
Hi, I'm Rick, I'm 29 years old. I'm studying a Masters of Urban Planning at Melbourne Uni and currently working full-time for an insurance company (though may shift to part time when semester starts back). Looking for somewhere within a reasonable distance of uni. During the week I'm normally pretty busy with various commitments, including trying to get to the gym a few times a week, on some committees and catching up with friends for brunch, dinner, drinks, movies or some live music, riding my bike around, etc. I'm a political junkie (Labour) and an avid music fan (anything that's played on Triple J basically). Because I'm generally pretty busy (especially during semester), I'm generally keen to relax at home and watch some Netflix or read. That said, I'd prefer a social household where I can have a chat, share a meal etc. Well-travelled and hoping to get to Japan soon. Also a frequenter of music festivals (Falls, Boogie, Meredith, Laneway). I've lived in a gorgeous house in Kensington for 5 years with friends but unfortunately they've both moved to Sydney and it's time to move on. I'm conscientious about keeping common areas clean and tidy and usually end up doing more than my fair share of cleaning.
I'm an international student who start to study master at the University of Melbourne this semester. I'm clean and tidy, also respectful and considerate for the comfort and privacy of other people who live in a shared accommodation. I'm a good listener and can be quite.

Please contact me if you're looking for a sociable, considerate housemate!
Hello! My name is Clara, I am 24 years old and work Monday-Friday in East Melbourne. I am currently looking for new accomodation for 2017. I am a friendly and easy going person looking for a home with like minded people. I enjoy my own space but also like to socialise with dinner or wine in the evenings with housemates. I wouldn't describe myself as a clean freak but I like to keep communal areas of the house clean and tidy. I am not fussy about which suburb I live in, walking distance to a train station is my only requirement! I am happy to live with one or two housemates. Please feel free to message me if you have a vacant room, thank you!
except work,i like going to gym, painting, indoor climbing, cooking, dancing and hiking. Easy going and make sure the place I live is as clean as possible without leaving trouble to others.
I am a super awesome West Australian girl who moved here three months back. I work full time as a Barista (so I know good coffee). I am relatively quiet with an inappropriate sense of humour. My housemate has pulled the dirty on me and has given notice to our real estate so I need to move somewhere pretty soon.
Here's a little bit about myself. My name is Sasha, I'm 19 and currently working as a pharmacy assistant, studying dental assistance and looking for a place to call home as my current lease ends feb. I'm a Non-smoker and outgoing, fun-loving, clean and tidy. I'm down for dinners and socialising, but also respectful of others privacy. I would love to come & check the place out. Please let me know when it suits you. Hope to hear from you, Sasha x

Hey, I'm Nikki and I just moved here from Brisbane to start a full time job. I am looking to share a flat with people who are easygoing and enjoy a laugh. I'm super clean and tidy and don't mind doing my share of all the house chores!
please no up-tight people: a place of living should be a stress-free zone! Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours kind of person. Bonus points if you like techno and other electronic music
