I work full time at the Brisbane Airport area in construction management. I like exercising (run, gym i.e. Jetts) early in the morning. Like going to live music events/gigs. I grew up on the Gold Coast (Burleigh) so I still spend a lot of weekends down there as I still have my room! as I surf, catching up with friends and family. My current flatmate (friend) is moving in with this gf. I'm looking for a room that is unfurnished.
Beautiful 2 bedroom Art Deco Apartment in a quiet 8 unit complex in Clayfield. Easy access to transport with bus stops out the front of the complex and train lines within walking distance. A lot of funky cafes within walking distance too. This cute and quirky apartment is very spacious with high ceilings and larger rooms than a usual 2 bedroom flat. It has one large kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 is occupied), shared bathroom, sunroom and large lounge room. Off street parking is only available. The new flatmate should feel very safe with a coded gate to access the complex, and previous visitors and tenants describe the apartment as a home away from home. Majority of house is furnished however the housemate who is leaving will be taking the couch, fridge, dining table and tv so if the new housemate had any of the 4 things that would be a massive bonus. If not other arrangements will be made. Weekly rent is $165 bills not included in rent but will be split evenly between flatmates. Looking for min 6 month stay with the possibility to stay the full 12 months. Hoping for the new housemate to be a bubbly, down to earth, tidy person who has respect for others privacy and space when needed but also enjoys a bit of socialising here and there, loves food and the occasional drink.
Hi! We are a friendly, reliable, quiet couple looking for a Granny flat situation in the northern suburbs. We have just moved back to Brisbane from 8 years on Hamilton Island where Adam was a handyman/Gardener/pool tech and I am a swim instructor and international tour manager. We are happy to offer criminal background checks and references. We would love to hear from you! Sincerely, Kim and Adam

Large bedroom with own bathroom available in a furnished apartment in Clayfield. You'll be sharing with one other person (female). I'm a young professional working full time in Bowen Hills. I'm very social and love a chat and a glass of wine. I love to head to the markets on the weekends (eagle farm is just down the road) and cook up a storm with ingredients I bring home. The room includes a large built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan, and is unfurnished. The apartment is located in a very convenient spot in Clayfield. It's a two minute walk to Clayfield train station and direct bus lines to the city. General services and other shops/restaurants are within walking distance and it's a 10 minute drive to the airport. The room is $200.00/week plus bills [internet $25 each a month; electricity is usually around $330 a quarter] and includes a lock-up garage. Looking for a friendly and social housemate to share a chat and a glass of wine - I prefer red ;) Looking forward to hearing from you!
I work split shifts mon - thurs, triathlon is my sport. - basically home a few hours during day and sleep at night. Only eat dinner at home as never there. Ps. I have 3 expensive bikes, will need room for them.
I'm respectful and clean (besides my room on the occasion) as well as being out going and caring. I'm a musician, but I'll always consider everyone else when I play and mostly use my headphones. I love having conversations whether about conspiracy theories or vegans or just about anything in depth. I tend to be busy a lot of the time so I love to enjoy myself on the weekend, whether going out to the Valley or having some drinks at home. I smoke, but I'm also trying to quit and intend to fully quit but at that I don't mind being around smokers etc. Best thing about me as a room-mate if anything is I that I keep to myself and tend to be 'invisible' most of the time, but at that I promote others to come and talk to me or to chill with me. Just because I'm sitting in my room watching Netflix with my door shut doesn't mean you can't come tell me about how shit/amazing your day was...
Hi there, I'm Zoe! I am a 33 year old Executive Assistant working in the Brisbane CBD. I am looking to move into a house (or possibly a unit) within the leafy suburbs of Paddo, Ashgrove, Red Hill or surrounds. My preference would be living with one or two other ladies around my age who would enjoy a casual drink, dinner or TV series marathon every now and then. I like to live healthily so don't eat a lot of meat and prefer to use environmentally friendly cleaning products and I have a habit of turning off light switches :) I would like to move into a "home" and not just be a person paying rent. My interests include going to the gym, yoga, live music, travelling and bush walking. I am a big cat and dog lover, so living with animals would be great! At this stage I am flexible around move in dates and happy to consider something in the New Year also. Oh and a car park is really important too! I am also interested in team ups - so send me a message and we can discuss more.
Very humble, clean and quiet couple, although we do enjoy socialising on occasion. We both love reading, cooking and camping and have been living together for three years. We are looking to move closer to uni for our studies. We are both studying at different universities also. Bryce is studying Information Technology and I (Brooke), am studying to become a secondary teacher in the fields of English and Arts. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Outgoing, friendly, respectful and tidy house mate. work fifo so hardly home but when I am I want to really enjoy the space and relax. Looking for a home with heart! A massive bedroom and Aircon is a bonus! :)
I am a young clean guy who is hoping to find a place to live for the next 1year + as I am trying to save to buy a house. Prefer my own bathroom. Will spend only $200 as what I am currently spending is too much for my liking. Will be respectful and tidy, Thanks!
Very quiet and respectful of each others space. Very tidy and always clean up after ourselves. Very close to public transport, airport, Toombul Shopping Centre and Chermside. Oh, and Doughnut Time. House rules: we would love to have a housemate (preferably female) who is experienced in living in a share house. Respectful of each others space, and sharing of common areas (i.e lounge room, kitchen and bathroom). Quiet and not too noisy. Cleans up after themselves. Non-smoker please!
19 year old male currently living with my girlfriend and her parents but need a place of my own, quiet, clean, friendly, boxer and delivery driver. I keep to myself mostly, I'm out a lot hanging out with my girlfriend, my friends, working or at the gym so I'm not really at home during the day. Just looking for a place to call my own and meet new people.
Trying to get my priorities right, one of which includes moving closer to the northside so I can enjoy a few more extra minutes of sleep - because everyone knows that a nurse enjoys that head to pillow-shut-eye time. I'll happily raise my hand and admit that I am a happy little extrovert, because I love meeting new people and have been sharing and caring since I was ten. Just to elaborate on that a bit, I was at boarding school, then did a bit of backpacking, decided I wanted to use my head again which involved living on campus at college whilst at uni and well now I am here in a share house looking to share again. Don't fret though I know the classic signs and symptoms of someone that needs their own space and will happily oblige. I try and make the most of my days off and am always up for an adventure, whether that is a market trip, off for some vitamin D and sea, trying to complete a 1000 piece puzzle or discovering funky new nooks and crannies to eat, drink or watch movies at. If you have any questions just type away. (ps there are 2 of us so looking for two rooms, pls)

We are a couple 35 and 39 and have 1 other flat mate, female 39. We bought our 4 bedroom Queenslander in the heart of Clayfield and have one room to rent. We have two small dogs who don't shed, but you must be pet friendly. Looking to share with another individual working professional (sorry, no couples). Someone social and respectful, clean and tidy. We both work Monday to Friday, gym evenings and weekend and enjoy being able to come home to relax and unwind in front of the television. Our flat mate works shift work and also enjoys gym a lot. Someone who likes the odd drink every now and then however is not a booze hound or party animal would fit in well. The property has high ceilings and massive decks, spread over two levels with an additional lounge downstairs allowing space to unwind, with a swimming pool for those hot summer days and nights. The house is fully furnished expect for your room. Your room is a queen sized room and has french doors onto a private balcony shared with the other flatmate, and big bay window facing the street. BYO Wardrobe, sorry no built ins. $250 p/w includes all your utilities and internet (except for your food of course). The house has 3 bathrooms, so your options are to share the main bathroom with our other flatmate, or you have the option to use the third bathroom down stairs. One minute walk to Eagle Junction Train Station making it only 10 mins to the City or one stop to the Airport, trains run every 2-3 mins. There is also a bus route (320) out the front on the street which is about 20 mins to the city via Bowen Hills and the Valley. Must be a non smoker and Gay/Gay friendly. 4 weeks Bond + 2 weeks in advance. Room available from Sunday 11th December.
