Hey! I’m Hannah, a 24 year old easy going, friendly and respectful professional working as a Client Manager within a large construction company and love it! I enjoy the finer things in life like good food, good wine and a good Netflix binge! I am also quite active and love to be outdoors. I’m looking for a room in a nice share house or happy to consider starting our own little humble abode! Looking for someone who is house proud and easy going. I have quite a few clothes so a built-in robe is a necessity for me haha! Look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi my name is Ash just moved to Newcastle from Adelaide for a job with The Hunter New England Health Service. I’m friendly and don’t take life to seriously. Love to socialise but don’t mind chilling out on weekends also. I’ve lived in heaps of share houses with students, workers, males and females. Quite accustomed to sharing, respecting people’s space and keeping things tidy.
Hi im Latoya, I am 24 years old and live with my fiance Kieren (27) who I have been with for almost 6 years. We are moving to Newcastle late Jan/early Feb and want to stay in a share house. We are both respectful of others privacy and quiet. We are both down to earth and happy for a good chat at any point. We are happy for any stay length. Please contact me if you have a place and are looking for flatmates like us.
Hi! My name is Maddy, I'm 24 years old and I'm a full-time student at University of Newcastle, studying a Bachelor of Music/Arts. I'm originally from Sydney. I've been living in Newcastle for around a year now, but am looking for a new place to live. Besides studying, I am a professional singer and children's entertainer. I run my own kids party business and I also work as a singing teacher. I have a pet bird (budgie) who I'd love to take with me into my new home. He is quiet and clean, and I'd keep him in my bedroom. I'm a very tidy, easy going person. I'm a fun and outgoing and like making new friends, I love going to gigs and the beach. Looking for non-smoker, female only housemates.
My Name is Julian, I'm 26 years old and I'm studying psychology at the University of Wuppertal, Germany. From March to August 2018 I'll be in Newcastle for an internship at the Priority Centre for Brain & Mental Health Research at the University of Newcastle. Since I'm not fan of facebook, I don't have an account there but try describe myself here a little bit. I've allready lived in some flat-sharing communites in several cities (Regensburg, Berlin, Halle, Wuppertal, Rostock) in Germany from a two-people flat up to four. I think I'm not that complicated as a flatmate (but who doesn't think that of him- or herself? ;) ), until today all problems could be solved with some talk about it. I really like to live with people, it gets me a warm feeling to come to my place and there is the possibility to meet some of my flatmates who is telling me about her or his day. I think this is because I come from a family with five people. Also I really like to discover new things, places, sports, interests, music, stage plays or something else. Just staying curious. I like doing some stuff together in a group like cooking, sports (jogging e.g.), playing card- or board games (of which I could bring some) or watching a movie. Likewise I can leave everybody the space that is needed and I'm also happy to have some my place of retreat sometimes. The precise working times of my internship aren't clarified till now but as my supervisor mentioned I won't have to work too much. Because I'm not a native english speaker (but everytime happy to learn something new :) ), just ask if there are any unclear passages in my text. I'm looking forward to get in touch with you soon :) Best regards, Julian
Our house is in a great location, close proximity to a variety of cafes, the new university building, Conservatorium of music for any music students and a quick drive or ride to the beach. We have on street parking, never struggle for a park. Parking permit required which you can get from the city council. Our house is three bedroom and three bathroom, giving you plenty of your own space. Your room will have its own ensuite. We have two split system air conditioners. Entire house is furnished excluding your bedroom.
Looking for someone(s) sociable that fits into live and doesn't just want a room. Single female, 30s, currently taking some time off and trying to write. There are two rooms available with with heaps of built ins. Location is awesome as walking distance to everything. We are basically on Darby st. Free parking on street I will negotiate rent for mowing.
I'm super friendly, super keen and super cleanly, I'm always up for a chat but I have to say, I'm pretty good at reading social cues; so if you like your space, I'm cool with that too. I will most likely be at uni, the beach or gym most days, but I'm keen to find a bunch of people that are open to a good pre-game sesh Friday/Saturday/the odd Sunday and like to go out in Newcastle and have a good time. I think as long as you can handle banter, we'll get on alright :))))
Emma and Kieran here! We are your standard description of a fun, friendly and easy going couple, who are welcoming and like to make new friends. We are both full time professionals working Monday to Friday as environmental consultants. We have one currently unemployed, awesome and low maintenance dog called Willow who is a 3 year-old small Corgi X (?). Current landlord can provide reference for us as well as for the dog. We are hoping to find a new place to jump into when our lease ends in February. Can provide any further details upon request. Thanks! ☺️
Hi there ! My name is Clara. I am a French girl, but I am currently studying in Montreal, Canada. I will be coming to Newcastle in late January for about 4 months, for an exchange program with my home university. So I am looking for a flatshare where hopefully I can meet new friends from all over the world :) I am a very friendly, calm and tidy person. I enjoy hanging out with friends, go out, but I also know how to respect each one's personal space, and I need mine sometimes ! Hope to see you soon on the East Coast!
Relaxed, social uni student/worker looking to move closer to the city. Pretty tidy, love to cook and have a good chat over a few beers. I like to socialise but also recognise the importance of alone time and personal space. Keen to share some family dinners and a few drinks with some good future roommates. Shoot me a message if you’re interested in teaming up!
I'm a very easy going 21 year old who is studying welfare at Newcastle UNI and works days and nights as a youth worker. I sometimes travel for work and may not be home for a couple days here and there. I'm very clean and am always up for a chat but also enjoy my own space and quiet nights in. I'm very social but I won’t bring people back to the house. I try to excersie as much as I can and eat reasonably healthy and enjoy meal prepping.
We are actively looking for a two bedroom, two bath apartment/house at the moment, and are looking for either a person or couple to share this with. We are very tidy, respectful and enjoy a good laugh :) Hi! I, Luke, am a recently graduated electrical engineer who is now working full time. Love the outdoors and having a look about new places, especially in my camper van and on the bike. I could move out with mates but I love making new ones and what’s a better way than living with them! Merran is a easy going Support Worker who likes to come home, have a chat and chill. She likes camping, ciders, beach time, picnics and a good movie/tv series.
Hi there. Currently and for the last couple of years, I rent on my own after many years of share housing. However, for financial reasons, I'm considering looking to 'team up' on a new rental property preferably (mainly seeing as I've got a house worth of furnishings). I'm not in a desperate hurry to move and would only look to do so with the right housemate basically. About me; I work full time, play sport a couple of times a week, non-party animal, enjoy reading, listening to music and the beach in summer. I've been living in Newcastle just over five years now and don't mind playing tour guide if you're new to the city! Around the house, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy good company and conversation, but also enjoy a bit of quiet time too. Weekends are pretty quiet and laid back but in saying that, I like to get out of the house (not a lounge lizard). An ideal housemate would fit into similar criteria hopefully or at least think this sounds a bit like them. Similar age bracket too would be good. Let me know if that's you.
This place is located just off Darby Street in Newcastle, beach walkable distance and cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs all just around the corner. The room is massive and includes a built in wardrobe. It has an old fireplace which is pretty as well as a "Juliet" balcony. Even though parking is on street, due to the barrier between the house and Darby Street, parking usually isn't an issue. House has most furnishings through out the shared areas (fridge, TV, couch, coffee machine) but a few will be going with the housemate moving out (dining table and washing machine) so will be being replaced in the near future.
I'm moving up from Canberra to study at UoN, so looking for somewhere to live. I'm not too concerned about the where, what matters to me is that I'm living with kind, chill and friendly people.
Hey, I'm Em. I'm social but I also enjoy my own company and respect other people's privacy. I'm very tidy and clean. I'm also a animal lover I have no issue with any. Little bit about me, I’m 36, professional, hard working and a traveller at heart. I'm originally from Queensland, but have spent the last three years in Sydney. In my downtime I enjoy hiking, exploring new places, travelling, binge watching a good TV series, volunteering at my local animal shelter and being active. But I also enjoy a few wines after a long week of work. I do spend time away mostly on the weekends either in Sydney, Brisbane or house/pet sitting around the place etc ** For room/house, I'm looking for short term from mid January 2018 for till possibly mid May 2018. The room to be furnished, parking available (either on or off street) $200 includes bill. Most of all, it feels like home :)
I'm a Corporate Communications professional and former journalist (I worked for both the Newcastle Herald and the Newcastle Star a long time ago). I recently moved to Newcastle on a five-year contract. I spend most weekends in Melbourne or Sydney. I tend to work very long hours and love reading or watching TV to relax. If and when I do get home early, I really enjoy cooking. I am am something of a BBQ master but am also quite capable of producing a great casserole in winter. Also enjoy the odd glass of good wine becuase life is too short to drink crap wine. I am easy going, laid back and house proud. Prefer a 12 month lease.
28 year old Kiwi gal looking for a friendly place to make my new home. I work full time at KOFM/Hit106.9. Like to balance my social time and down time - so I'm fun but not in your face about it all the time. I'm clean and respectful 😊
We're a young working couple who've just moved down from Yamba! We're moving into a place on the 3rd of February and we're currently housesitting until the 17th of Jan so we'll need a place to stay in the 3 weeks or so in between. We've lived by ourselves but also in student accommodation with 19 people, so we're not that fussed about the type of housing as long as we're living with roomies who are easy to get along with like ourselves and not overly messy. We both surf and are out and about exploring the region a lot at the moment (wine and waves what more could you ask for?). We're both outgoing but also understand the need for space and are easy going and tidy. We're pretty flexible about which area of Newcastle we want to live (we're still getting to know the city), but close to the beach would be ideal! Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about us or have a room we can come and view. Johan and Alexandra
