Hi there, My name is Amber and im looking for a room to rent around the Newcastle area starting Mid November.. I work 9-5 in a corporate office in Honeysuckle, therefore only at home afternoons and part of the weekend.. I’m very clean (Seriously) and always up for a chat.. Not a huge partier but love a drink on the weekend.. Looking forward to hearing from you xx
Heya! I'm Gilly. I am almost always at work, when I'm not I take it reeeal easy. Ideal housemate would be fun, loves a wine and a chat, likes yoga/walks, respectful and goal oriented. *can provide a goat on request
Move in from Sunday 28th October!! Hey all! My room has become available in an absolute gem of a location in Cooks Hill. The room is about 2.4m x 4m with built ins (always a bonus around this location). Darby Street is literally a few minutes away, the beach about a 15 minute stroll and close to public transport. The townhouse is 3 story, with an internal laundry. Everything is furnished aside from the room available. If you’d like to have a look at the room, please send me a message with a bit about yourself and we can organise a time for you to come and look at the place & meet your potential roomies :)
Hey, I'm from Melbourne and moving to Newcastle for work in engineering. I'm pretty laid-back, love the beach, and up for anything outdoors. I also respect other people's property, am fairly tidy and don't mind a chat.
Hi I'm Emma, a PhD student studying infertility I also have a friendly white indoor cat called O'Malley. I spend most of my time at uni (I'm there 8:30-5 usually), or at the beach. I also love to stay at home with a good movie cuddling O'Malley. We've lived in sharehouses for the last 3 years and he's so sociable with people and other cats. I'm a tidy person, and I'm pretty sociable. I love cycling, good coffee and brunch. I'm looking for a room with a wardrobe for all my stylish clothing, with friendly, tidy housemates. I make excellent muffins!
Elisa and I are happy, healthy and rent reliable. We are aware of the need for space and privacy and the need for respect and an easy going atmosphere. We've recently relocated from Brisbane to be a little closer to family and friends again. Both myself and Elisa work in home care and when Elisa finishes her practice and we manage to find our own little place we will be moving ...this is an interim situation until the dust settles. Cheers
From the Central Coast looking to move back up to Newcastle end of November, once my university practicum has finished. I'm studying Occupational Therapy and working part time in Newcastle. I'm easy going, respectful and clean. I love my down time but also love a bit of banter and don't mind an occasional wine or two. Give me a message if this sounds like you 😊
I'm a friendly, 22 year old female student (graduating at the end of 2018) from Melbourne. Early next year I will be starting work in NSW around Warner's Bay. I am very social, love getting to know new people, I love cooking as well and I'm into healthier foods so I generally try to eat healthy but definitely have many cheat days! I love getting outdoors, whether that is to go to the beach, for a walk, hike or out later for a drink but also love curling up in front of the TV to watch a good movie or TV show. I am looking for house mates 20-30 years of age that are friendly, tidy, nice, sociable, easy-going, open to making friends and going out to explore as I will be new to the area and will not know anyone.
I'm really down to earth, a Melbournian who has moved to Newcastle this year and loving it. I'm happy and friendly and easy to live with. I enjoy reading, writing poetry, seeing my friends, exploring, the occasional video game and cooking. (I make really excellent cupcakes, can bring that to the table. Ha. And puns.) I'm super tidy, always clean up after myself and don't live a party lifestyle. I'm kind of a homebody/pub/dinner kinda gal. Happy to hang out and have a chat but also spend a fair bit of time by myself.
Hey, I'm a 21 year old nursing student, I'm in my final year and work part-time as well! I'm pretty laid back and love to socialise and have a beer but don't go out often as I usually work weekends! I'm super clean and tidy & I love to cook. I'm looking for a well-lit room that will fit my queen bed and have a built in wardrobe. Ultimately would love to live close to the beach and somewhere with parking. Hoping to find some roomies that will become more of a family! Looking to move early November when my current lease runs out! :)
I work full time shiftwork as a NICU Nurse and Midwife, and am studying a postgraduate in Dermal Science. I love my job, the outdoors, travelling, relaxing with a wine, prefer early mornings to late nights, keeping healthy, good food, road trips and of course my pup. Lexi is a beautiful 6 year old lazy staffy, she is very quiet and very well behaved. She is clean (loves a shower), loves a ball, and loves the beach, but mostly loves to sleep. She honestly will lay in her bed in my room all day eveyday. She is completely totally 100 percent house trained and doesn't do anything annoying dogs do like bark dig or chew. She will win you over if you're not a dog person. We have returned from travelling and are looking for either starting a share house with another or living with one other in an established house. I like a clean home, that's peaceful, leafy, warm, and a nice place to relax. I am vego but dont mind what you cook. I also have most furniture needed for a house.
My name is Mitch, I am 25 and keen to move into the city as I am always at the beach and love newcastle in general. I am a casual bartender although I have plenty of hours and can work pretty late some nights. I am an outdoor person love the sun and ocean always looking for something new to do or another adventure. I love to swim, skate, go for walks and grab a coffee to chat or catch up on the day. I'm not much of a partier but love a cold beer or several or a nice red. I am sometimes quiet and need some downtime to reflect and recentre but generally friendly and happy, keen to hang out and socialise. I would love to get to know you a bit more and/or if you're interested and want to know a bit more about me just ask :) Cheers Mitch
I’m 49 and employed full time. I’m very easy going, clean, neat and tidy. I like to keep fit and healthy. I am also studying and have about a year to go. I much prefer nights in but occasionally enjoy going out for dinner. Don't mind a chat and sharing meals or the occasional drink (not a big drinker). But also respect that we all need our own space. I am relocating for work. I can provide references from my current flatmates.
Hey there, looking for a place to move into by the 21st of November. I am reliable with rent, work part time and go to uni full time. I'm social and friendly and love some good banter and a laugh. However, I do enjoy my down time and keep to myself usually after work (I do like my privacy) I'm not home a lot, as I work a fair bit. I would prefer to live somewhere where its social but I have my own space too. Im usually the kind of person in my down time who likes to go grab coffee, find somewhere new to explore or eat out for dinner. So if you're down for that I love the company. Shoot me a message if you're interested.
I recently got offered a graduate position in Newcastle so moved up (preferably first week of march) from Melbourne. My current housemate is moving to Europe and selling his house so I am out on the hunt again. I am originally from Mumbai but been living in Melbourne for over 7 years now. Since I'm still pretty new to Newcastle, I'd like to move into a friendly house where I can make friends and not just be another housemate. All my ex housemates are great friends of mine and I'd like to continue that. I'm fairly busy during the week with full time work, gym and trying to make my dinner (which takes surprisingly long given my amateur skills). However down to hang out during the weekend, be it going to town or having a few quiet ones at home in front of the TV. Other interests include playing and watching all kinds of sports, outdoor activities (hiking, swimming) and also looking to take up surfing in Newcastle. I've been living in shared houses for 7 years now so am aware of all the drills. I'd like to think I'm fairly neat and organised and like to keep my place the same way, If you feel like you have a room available for me at your place or if you're keen to team up and look for places in Newcastle, feel free to send me a message and we can go from there.
I am 27 yr old quailifed makeup artist and have 2 jobs in hospitality . I’m down to earth and easy going. I’m clean and I am never really home but when I am I like to chill out or have a couple of drinks. I am after a place max $170 including bills and also have a small cat the is indoor out door but I think she thinks she a dog, extremely friendly and we eat anything.
Hi! We are a couple looking for a short term lease in Newcastle as we save up to move overseas in January. We’re looking for a clean and friendly home to spend this time in. We live a pretty healthy lifestyle, work in hospitality, like to cook at home & try new restaurants & chill at the beach. Hoping to find a likeminded household :)
This place is seriously convenient as it is right in the heart of Cooks Hill & Newcastle. You'll love that; there is a cafe two doors down, it is 3 blocks from Darby St, there are 3 pubs within 300m, super close to the CBD & Uni, only 2 blocks away from Aldi or 3 blocks away from Market town shopping. There are lots of gyms nearby and its minutes from the foreshore & beaches. Parking is easy, free & you'll get a spot right out the front. The terrace house is cute, quiet and lots of space for privacy or to be social. You won't need any furniture except your room which is pretty roomy (ha gedit?) with enough space for a king bed & side tables, etc. It has built in cupboards and an extra space for storage. You'll get the morning sun too. The kitchen has everything in it, there is a washing machine, dryer and clothes line out the back in the courtyard. This area has a BBQ, table, & space to hang among the plants. If you have extra things we have some room for storage. Bring your bike because its just perfect for getting around the city. I only use my car maybe one a week/fournight.
We are a fun young couple, hard working, into health and fitness, clean and tidy. We just recently moved home to Newcastle from a 2 year stint on the northern beaches of Sydney where we were both working full time and Daniel playing for Australia Sevens! We are looking for a place to call home asap! :)
