I am looking for short term accommodation. My partner and I have been travelling over the last few months and will briefly be in Newcastle. I (Samantha) spent the last 4 years living in Newcastle whilst studying at the uni. I have a short-term contract working in Newcastle CBD full-time before leaving to head overseas again. I am looking for somewhere close to the Hunter St Mall kind of area near King St. This is where I work and I will be selling my car in preparation to leave and will have to walk to work. A place within the free bus zone would also be an option! My partner Chris may briefly stay with me before leaving also so please be open to this. I would like to find a friendly household. I don't drink, smoke or take any kind of drugs. I am not a party household type person, but I do enjoy chatting at the end of the day and maybe sharing a meal. I work around 8am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri. 3 nights a week i am out all evening as i train in aerial acrobatics. On free evenings and weekends I like to hang with friends, go scuba diving, relax, watch some movies, maintain my travel blog and do some photography with our DSLR cameras and aerial drone! (Its lots of fun!) If you think we could find a place at your house please let me know!
Great location in cooks Hill 5 minute walk to Darby street market town shopping centre and 15 minute walk to the beach. Hi, I'm a 26 yr old female, part-time student of Social Science, musician and work part-time. Looking for a homely place that's not a party house but also with sociable people. I come with a sweet record collection :)
Hi I'm Paula I'm looking to share with someone who is neat, respectful and easy going. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, going for beach walks, doing yoga and going to cafes with friends. I am a social person but I also like time to myself. I work at the University of Newcastle as a health promotion research assistant.
Hey there! I'm a 23 yo student looking for a new place to live. I've lived out of home for 5 years in a variety different share houses and am very house trained, clean and tidy. I have an excellent rental history, I am independent, respectful of others and maintain a busy schedule during the week. On the weekends I like to go out with friends to explore Newcastle and would love to be able to do this with housemates too. Ideally I would like to be living with no more than 2 others, as I've done the large share houses in the past and they're just not for me. I love to cook, garden (I do come with a few houseplants but they can definitely just be kept in my room!), read and binge on Netflix seasons. I could write lots more about myself but if you have any questions it's probably best if you just ask!
Kind, easy going, clean, soon to be podiatrist, love to get out and try new things, meet new people ☺. I am an aged carer pt and pt final year student. I enjoy dancing running and being an aunty. Im also an experienced pet/house sitter ☺.
This wonderful home is set in the heart of Cooks Hill and offers stylish living in a premier location. The master bedroom has its own chic ensuite with his and hers sink, accompanied with a spacious shower. This room flows into a private balcony overlooking the city, where you can enjoy the breeze on those summer evenings. The main living area is focused around a stylish kitchen with gleaming granite and stainless steel appliances that opens onto a spacious lounge with big windows. The outdoor entertaining deck and BBQ area is perfect for all social occasions. Homes like this don't come up often! To finish off this fantastic property there is plenty of room in the secure double garage. All of this is only the shortest walk from cafes, restaurants, transport and shops.
Hello I'm Daryl, 27 years old. I've recently moved to Newcastle from Melbourne to do further study. I finished my Bachelors in Biomedical Science in November last year and am now studying Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Diagnostic Radiography) at the University of Newcastle. I am professional and respectfully clean. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, photography, the occasional beer/wine and have recently taken up surfing (because apparently that's everyone's trade in Newcastle). I like to socialise but also don't mind my own space.
This flat is right in the heart of Darby st, with a monster outdoor area. Room has an inbuilt wardrobe with mirrored doors. Everything you need is in walking distance. There's only myself in the flat (30 year old male) I work full time, keep the place tidy and rarely get ruffled by anything. The rest of the flat is fully furnished but not the bedroom that is on offer. I have tried living with couples before in the flat, and it seems it's just a bit too cramped with three people. So I'm very sorry in advance to any couples enquiring.
Lovely sunny apartment on Darby street, close to cafes and shops also easy walking distance to bar beach. Great value for money in this location - 3 bedrooms with built-in robes, 2 bathrooms, 2 garage spaces (automatic), A/C in living space and a large balcony. There are 2 rooms included in this rent price - 1 bedroom, 1 room to use as office/study plus own private bathroom and single garage space.
We're a couple from around Gloucester/ Forster area, we're both currently studying full time at the university of newcastle and looking for a new place before the start of second semester. Mason is an all round top bloke, He studies civil engineering and surveying and can pull off a mullet and a moe pretty well. He's pretty great to live with because can hold a friendly conversation but won't be in your face at all. He likes playing the Xbox and drink of choice would be a ice cold schooner of tooheys new. Jasmin is alright herself, she's studying writing at the uni and is a bit of a creative sort. Loves live music, bushwalking and reading. Pretty good to live with as she can talk about pretty much anything and is always there for a chat if needed. Drink of choice would be a double shot tequila sunrise when she's feeling loaded but lets be real, usually you'll catch her with a bottle of harddys charddy. We're both pretty good at keeping to ourselves or having a cheeky chat in the kitchen, whichever you prefer. We're both clean, tidy and love a good netflix binge. We've listed ourselves as looking for a place near the city but are open to suburbs close to the uni. We both have a stable income rolling in and the 280$ a week is our maximum rent SPLIT not each.
I am a young, professional and soon to be moving to Newcastle City. As I will be working full-time in the city, it would be ideal to be living close to work. Having lived in shared accommodation previously, I understand way of living together and known to be clean, tidy, friendly and respectful to others in the home.
oh haaaaay friends. Thanks for checking this out. Im great to live with because I am friendly and easy going and have been doing it for ages! - I do sometimes think Id like to have my own place to let my indoor plants free and crank the records up - but i think id miss the company. Im busy enough that you won't see me all the time, but happy to have a catch up and share a couple of wines when you do! I work in health - am moving for the job from interstate. Love the beach. Am trying to learn spanish for about the 4th time, and similar story with surfing. Han :) P.S flexible on move date and lease term if right thing comes along
Hey! I’m 26 and a full time worker (steady income- check!). Looking for a homely share house with a social vibe but not party central. I’m an outdoorsy person- you’ll find me living at the beach when the weather is fine. Also into yoga, reading, bush walking and an avid consumer of media in general (come at me Netflix). I’m always down for a chat/laugh/bev (caffeinated or otherwise) but value personal space. I’m clean and tidy but not over the top about it. If all this sounds like your cup of tea- let me know!
I'm moving from Sydney to Newcastle at the beginning of July to study a Bachelor of Communications at Newcastle Uni. I'm hoping to find a small sharehouse that is preferably close to Darby st area.
I am an easy going person. I like to chat but I also love my space. I like my house clean. I will be doing my masters at the University of Newcastle as a full-time student. I will stay 2 years in Newcastle so if I like the house and the flatmates I will extend my 6 months.
I enjoy living comfortably and the finer things in life. Gym, foodie, travel, fashion. I am quiet to live with and behave maturely. Own car 🚗 And personal belongings. I have a dog Wallace he is very well behaved and everyone loves him, would love a bit of yard for him.
