My name is Joy from Germany and I am 24 years old. I am already in Newcastle and will study until November 2017 for a trimester at the UoN. In Germany, I am currently doing my master's degree in Marketing Management. I'm a person how likes to explore new things, get to know new people and just enjoy the life while having one or two drinks. I would like to rent a room from now until End of December 2017.
Hi guys and gals, we are Linda and Jess and we're looking to team up with someone for a place in Newcastle and surrounding suburbs! We are on a bit of a deadline so we're looking to move in the next week or so. we both work full time in the health industry, queer and love a good chat over some bevvies. if you'd like to ask us any questions please don't hesitate!
Hey how's it going! I'm outgoing, clean, organised, healthy, non-smoker, light drinker... I like to have a chat after work with a beer (or whatever is on offer) but I also like my own time. Hobbies: music, photography, arts & crafts, baking. I like going for runs/walks. I love animals.
I'm very easy going, relatively quiet and have reliable income to ensure I always pay bills on time. I'm always up for a good chat, love getting to know new people and respect peoples privacy. Grew up in the snowy mountains so I love snowboarding and cold weather. Lived a few years in Canberra playing rugby league and studying full-time, and I'm very excited for a new chapter in my life. I love keeping fit, coffee and all sport.
This two story town house is located in central Cooks Hill. The beach is a 15 minute walk and Aldi is conveniently located across the road. Market town is a 5 minute walk and Honey Suckle is approximately a 10 minute walks distance.
Hey all I'm a PhD student at UoN and the University of Zurich in Switzerland. Born in Athens raised in Berlin, I've lived in Zurich for the past ten years and had the chance to follow my professor to the other side of the world to do my research (history). I've been in Newcastle since February and I'd love to move closer to the beaches. In my ten years as a student I had lots of great experiences sharing places (out of those, a few weren't exactly great). I know what it takes to be a flatmate. I'm not very good at small talk but I'm a good listener. Sometimes, after a couple of drinks you'll have to shut me up though. I keep my stuff clean and tidy. I'm absolutely OK with cleaning regularly as long as we take turns or everyone does her/his part. Usually I go to the library, sometimes I like to work at home, sometimes I work on weekends as well and sometimes I don't feel like any of that. I get up relatively early and I need my sleep, so quiet weekday evenings would be nice. In my spare time I like to read and I love cooking. I don't know if I prefer coffee over tea, so I drink both. I try to keep exercising regularly but sometimes other stuff comes up... Oh yes, and I am engaged. So every 2-3 months I'm going to Zurich to be with my fiancée and hang out with my sister, visit friends etc. (Being able to sublet my room while I'm away would be a nice extra. But I'll live if that's a problem.) I'd like to move in sometime around mid September, maybe a little earlier. A furnished room would be welcome. Oh, and I want to live in a real shared flat, not some weird pseudo-shared place run and controlled by a landlord that chooses the flatmates. Feel free to ask if I forgot to mention anything. -m.
I'm not only funny and will care about my future housemate a whole bunch, I have this thing with clean kitchens and bathrooms. I work and study in hospitality and generally do 5 night shifts a week. However, on the precious nights off I do get, I like to have a few drinks (maybe a bottle of wine). And on mornings where I don't snooze my alarm 500 times, I like going to yoga or for a nice walk. Ideally looking to live with one other person who has good music taste, eats good food, and is an all rounded good person. I moved back in with my family about 6 months ago to save some dollars, but I need my independence back (help me)!
I am currently in my final year of University and my current lease runs out at the end of the year! I will be working full time next and have a lovely kitten called Sylvia! If someone is in a similar situation and is looking for someone later in the year I would be happy to apply for a house/apartment together! I am a non-smoker who is clean, tidy and considerate. I am friendly and outgoing and would be happy to live with someone working or studying!
I'm looking for an honest, trustworthy, clean, reliable professional to share a Modern Townhouse in the Heart Of Cooks Hill. Room available is large with Built-Ins and an optional Double Bed. Place also has a large bathroom with separate bath/ shower, study, open plan living, 2nd toilet, enclosed courtyard and off street parking. Located just 5 minutes walk from Darby Street Restaurants, Aldi + Marketown Shopping Centre + a 10 minute walk to Bar Beach and Honeysuckle Rent is $230 plus Bond and Half Expenses. If you're interested in taking a look, please tell me a bit about you and we can arrange an inspection 😊 No Couples Thanks
Very spacious townhouse, within walking distance of Market Town, Darby St and Bar Beach. Great location near shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, night life and public transport. Great quiet town house with good lighting and parking available on the property. *PLEASE NOTE* Room is available from mid september to mid january, then my roommate will be moving out. Should you wish to continue living in the house, that can easily be arranged with our landlord, however you would need to find someone to live in the second bedroom and pay a bond.
Hey, I'm Tom and I am 22 years old. I've recently moved back to Newcastle after spending just over 6 months in Tasmania for work. I've lived in share houses before, so I know the drill! I am easy going, social and clean. I like going out for a bite to eat and a casual beer, but I am also happy to chill at home and watch some Netflix or game.
Hi :) I'll be moving to the area soon after finishing up my job in Sydney. I'm a great cook and I think I'm hilarious, I like to socialise but I also appreciate my own time as well. Animal person! I am currently working full time in western Sydney until the end of this month. Needed a change and I used to live in Newcastle area so I'm keen to move back. Would much prefer to live with another female. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
Hey, I'm looking for a room preferably in a great sharehouse.. not a mediocre one. To give you some background on me - I'm currently staying at a family friends place in Hamilton after moving back from living in the UK. I've previously lived in Newcastle while I was studying a social science degree so I've got quite a few friends in the area and like to stay busy. I am currently working full time 9 - 5 in a government job and studying a masters of public health part time. I've lived for 7 years in share houses so I know how to live respectfully and communally and I enjoy meeting new people. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Lauren.

AWESOME location - about 100m from Darby street, so a super quick walk to all the cafes & shops there. It's also right next to Civic Park, where they host different markets some weekends. The new uni city library is also only a 3 minute walk away, so it's perfect for uni students! Large bedroom - fits a desk, cupboard and bed easily with lots of room left over Large bathroom, with shower built over bath A big and renovated kitchen with dishwasher Polished wooden floorboards throughout the whole house Paved courtyard out the back A really lovely, homey townhouse!!
