Hey, im a mechanic. Moved up from the Burleigh Heads 2 months ago with my boarder collie bella, she is very placid and loves most other dogs. I keep to myself building my motorbike and taking bella with me every where i go. Not a big drinker or partyer, prefer to take bella hiking or to the beach on a weekend so won't be home that much. I do like to cook dinner sometimes, thai, curries or hearty roasts to share with housemates.
I'm 23 and work full time as an apprentice horticulturalist at Roma street Parklands in the city. I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible. I love to chill out, watch movies, walk my dog, have a cider or two, listen to some music, play board games, do some yoga, go fishing and camping or just read a book. I'm friendly, clean and tidy, respectful of peoples belongings and personal space and expect the same in return 😊. I'd like to be friends with future housemates rather than just be people who live in the same house, and would be up for a chat and a bevy/dinner every now and then. I'm good with my money and always pay bills on time! Also I have a dog named Chip who is 6 months old, house trained and loves everyone! He stays outside when I'm not home but comes inside when I am. Unless he's dirty of course haha 😜
Hello there! I am considerate and respectful of others I live with including their property. I love to be in a neat environment. Tend to keep to myself but not antisocial by any means. I am really cool and get along quickly. I have really good history with previous leases and can provide references as well. My current lease expires on the 1st of August, so hoping to move as close to that as possible. Apart from that I am a graphic designer but here for studies and work in the carpentry industry. Quite active guy and lives a healthy life.
Myself & James have recently relocated from Melbourne to be closer to relatives & for work. Hoping to find accomodation within a reasonable distance to Fortitude Valley, also a space preferably with our own bathroom. We are very neat & tidy people (we have rented prior so we do have a rental record with an agency), we do enjoy a bit of quiet time after work, I'd also say that we are an easy-going couple that can respect other peoples privacy. We love to socialise with friends & family, also going out to try new cafes & keeping active (adventure walks, gym etc.) on the weekend. Our length of stay is pretty flexible the minimum would be 4 months, but most likely longer with the right housemate/s. If you think we could be suited as your housemates, feel free to message us :)
Hi i am currently looking for accommodation near QUT i am waiting till my lease runs out in AUGUST to move out i am a full time student and will have a part time job by the time of moving out i am a easy person to live with, i love music, being social and Love Life
I'm a really friendly person and I love a good laugh. I have a house trained kitty, named Gypsie, who is just as friendly, if not more so, than I am. I'm always down for a good movie marathon or binge session and love a fun filled games night. I'm not about that party life but I don't mind a few drinks with the friends occasionally. I'm also a second year uni student, studying a bachelor of nursing so during the uni semester all I do is work, sleep and study.
So I'm 24, clean and tidy with a friendly disposition and a sunny outlook. Originally from a small town, I'm looking for a place to stay while I go back to uni to study Speech Pathology. In my spare time I'm an artist with a love of colour and pattern, so I love brightening up my space with artistic flair. Quiet and respectful of others privacy, but not in an unfriendly way.
This very large one bedroom studio is brand new with quality furniture and fittings, and includes electricity. It is light, bright and cheerful with high ceilings We are looking for a professional or mature student, non smoking person to make this place home. Located a few minutes walk from Corinda station and a wide range of shops, restaurants and services. There is pizza, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, pub, Primavera restaurant, Subway, health foods, bakers, dentist, doctors, accountants, chemist, bookshop, library, bottle shop, gift shop, Coles and loads more. No car needed in this trendy accessible location. The studio is underneath a newly renovated house with its own side access. We currently live upstairs and our grandchildren visit so no parties, no couples, and no smoking. The studio has domestic sound proofing in walls and ceilings, so you won't hear the putter patter of little feet from above. It is also very cool due to the high density thick soundproof batts as well as high density wall sheeting which doubles as thermal insulation. It has a full sized kitchen with fridge and microwave. There is European laundry with front load washer, and a large bathroom with walk in shower. There is a comfortable modular sofa (not the older one in photo) and a TV, as well as is a large linen press next to the bathroom. The bedroom is very large with an overhead fan, queen sized bed with 4 drawer storage and a large wardrobe. There is ample room to add other drawers/cabinets if you wish. 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent in advance is required. A RTA tenancy agreement will be completed.
I have a perfect balance of being by myself in my own space and being in a social environment with the rest of the house. I'm well kept and always want to make sure the house is tidy and clean. I enjoy everything from sports to music as well as games of every sort and have a good taste in Tv and movies. I never cross boundaries and always look out for others who need a mate they can count on.
Unfortunately we need to break our lease as soon as possible, so we are looking for someone new to take-over our beloved townhouse. Our lease ends 25 September 2017. If you're looking for something short-term, this could be perfect. Or, if you want to stay, you will have an option to renew for 6 or 12 months when the lease runs out, whatever suits you! Our rent is $460/week, but we are desperately looking for someone to take over our lease, so this could be yours for $399/week. In other words, we will pay you in cash up front the difference in rent up until the end of the lease in Sept. We would be happy to pay this shortfall in rent because we have to move and really don’t want to pay full rent up until the end of September! Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, all with built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans, and aircons. The main bedroom is very large, with its own ensuite, triple sized built-in wardrobes and balcony overlooking the courtyard. The other two bedrooms are serviced by the main bathroom, and are each of decent size (enough room for a queen bed and desk). Downstairs is the main living area, kitchen, laundry, another toilet, and a single car garage. It opens right up onto the private and leafy courtyard (at the front of the house). There is another small outside area out the back (where there is a clothesline). We have thoroughly enjoyed living here. Its location is hard to beat. We rarely use our cars because everything you need is only a short stroll away! Located in the heart of Sherwood, this townhouse is walking distance to the train station, Snap fitness, Woolworths, Coles, Sherwood State School, and a bunch of boutique cafes and restaurants. We hope we find people who love this place as much as we have! We are breaking our lease! We are advertising ourselves (to save the expense of real estate advertising). Please let us know if you would like to inspect – weekends are probably the best but we can do nights as well if that suits you better. Any questions, just ask!
Nice tidy house in quiet leafy suburb. Close to the river and parks, including Sherwood Arboretum. Walking distance to shops and trains. Unlimited internet available. Room available is the main bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. No smokers please.
Hey guys! A massive king size bed in an awesome fully furnished room is waiting for you! :D Because I'm going overseas for a while I need to leave this lovely apartment so I'm looking for someone to keep my housemate company! The unit is located in a really quiet area with bus stops, Woolworths and a big variety of shops at only 5 mins walk and Sherwood train station not even 10 mins away! Only 10 mins by bus to Indooroopilly shopping centre and 20 mins by train to central station! Bills are all included except for electricity that comes to around 100$ every 3 months. And for those who have a vehicle there is also a garage available! Hope to hear from you soon :D Feel free to contact me at anytime for enquiries or arrange an inspection! Have a sensational day ;)
One of the best areas of Brisbane. Included is unlimited internet, Foxtel, electricity. Close to UQ university, Indooroopilly shopping centre. $150 a week including bills smaller room, $200 for bigger room. House is next to the river in very nice estate.
I'm seeking suitable accomodation for myself, something longer than 6 months, preferably inner city area. I'd prefer to share with only one other person. I'm a tidy/clean guy who generally keeps to myself, more of an introvert personality wise, though I do know how to be social, and enjoy having conversations with other people. I enjoy doing various things, from personal hobbies, to something sports/exercise related, to going to the beach, reading, staring up at the sky, etc. I'd say I'm easy to get along with, somewhat reserved at first but I open up quickly. I work as an engineer (I do have a personality) so full-time job, and pursue various other, uh, ventures on the side. There's a lot more to say but you'll get a better idea of who I am if you meet me :) The maximum I'd be willing to pay per week is around $280. Would generally prefer to share with one other person. Mainly looking for inner city area.
Hi, I'm looking at moving out for the first time from my family home as I'm now studying at QUT while working part time in admin. I'm very neat and respectful of others and their space. I'd say I'm equal parts about privacy and time to yourself, but also like banta and hanging out. Dallas
18 yr old uni student looking for a cheap place to stay for a year or so, looking for a place that has all bills and internet included. I'm super chill and don't do much besides drink with friends and go to uni :)) I'd idealy love to have roomies that are cool for me to have sleepovers and invites friends over. I work down south on weekends so won't be there most weekends especially nights. Please contact me :))
Relaxed and laid back. I love to cook, especially for other people..so who knows, I might cook for you. I also clean up after myself and would expect others to do the same. I like a balance between being social and me time if I have work to do, or just want quiet time to myself. I am currently looking for a second job, and will be working mostly nights 6-7 days a week, so I don't think you'll see much of me to begin with! I'm not looking for a party pad either, but a do enjoy a night of drinks and fun from time to time. My move date isn't a fixed date, I only put a date because it told me to.
Hi! My name is Kieran and… IN SHORT I’M: - Single / Straight / Mature (obviously) / Non-Smoking 36 Year Old with a Positive Outlook on Life. - I’m neat and tidy without being obsessed (who would admit to being not?) - I'm looking to share a place with one (ideally) or two others. The only exception to this is if the place is very special! SORRY NO COUPLES PLEASE. - EXTREMELY reliable. Rent and bills will always be paid on time or in advance. I will supply you with references from my current landlord and previous landlords (if required). - I’m on the Disability Support Pension currently (DSP) as I have Bipolar but please read on… *** I’m not one to sit around doing nothing. I actually get up at 5am during the week (as quiet as a mouse of course) and head to the gym. I have previously done freelancing work in online marketing and writing but took a break for a while and just resuming now. I have two of my own websites which I can show you. The only concern for you should be is that I have more than enough money (which I do) to pay rent and bills on time and that I am perfectly stable (which I am). It’s not a big deal really having something like Bipolar as there are people homeless and people without access to clean water in certain countries. It’s all about Gratitude! Any more questions just ask me.*** - 100% Without a Doubt Looking to Live somewhere for at Least the Next 12 months (probably Longer) and I am more than happy to Sign a/the Lease. - Calm, Relaxed and Laid-Back Individual. Yes that's right. I am the complete opposite of someone that is highly strung. That's what you want right? I seek likewise. And no that doesn't mean we can't hold an intelligent conversation ;) - I want to move sooner rather than later but I'm in no rush. I'm not on a lease currently and can move whenever (and I mean the exact day/date that works for you!). I'm very open on suburbs… All COMES DOWN TOO: 1) The Place (definitely prefer bright, open and spacious), and 2) The Area (i.e. what's close to there like gym/s, parks, cafes, shops etc.). PLEASE NOTE: It's very important to point out at this stage that I will not have a car for the next 6 months at least. I currently share a car with my sister but she is taking it. Therefore a gym (1) public transport (2) and shops (3) should all be within 15 minutes walking distance (absolute max)....yes numbering in that order priority too probably. I don’t care so much about the shops (although it would be nice) as I can get groceries delivered. And The Absolute Must... DEFINITELY NEED AIR CON: I definitely need air con in my bedroom as I've already been through two summers without. I actually much prefer the cold but I like what Brisbane has to offer otherwise. FURNITURE: I'm ideally looking for somewhere fully furnished apart from the bedroom. I have a medium size desk and can buy the rest of the stuff. If it's already furnished then that's a bonus. BEDROOM SIZE: I definitely need a bedroom of reasonable size. Hoping to fit a queen bed, desk and a whiteboard for my work. Don't worry the whiteboard will only be attached to the wall by Velcro. BIT ABOUT ME: - I like the gym (first thing in the morning), living a healthy lifestyle (most of the time) walks (near the water if I can), tennis (now and again), football (on TV), admiring nature (whenever I can), travelling (every so often) reading (daily and before bed), writing (for work and pleasure), self-improvement (generally), online marketing (work), restaurants (many), socialising (mainly on weekends) and coffee (in small doses). - I'm a social/friendly person but I'm definitely more on the quiet side. I'm not big on TV (in one place I didn't even own a TV lol) at all so don't expect me to join you on the couch watching it. I don't mind the news and a bit of sport though. I just find you learn more by reading. - I do all of my socialising with friends outside of the flat/property but I 100% don't mind if you have people over. I'm not one for dinner parties but go for it!! - I'm not a vegetarian. I cook my own meals as have my own diet I need to follow. Of course there may be a time where a meal or take-away could be shared. - I'm a clean and tidy person and expect likewise. - I'm straight and single currently - I'm open to living with people of all cultures and sexuality. - I have lived and worked in Sydney (4 years) London (5 years) and Melbourne (3 years) previously. The main thing I am seeking in a flatmate is laid back qualities. If this is you then we are a flatmate match potentially. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. Kieran
I like minding my business................................................................................................................................

I would consider myself as a very easy going, clean and friendly person. As long as you're the same we will get along just fine! I have never lived with people who I don't know so for a place to feel like home I would love to be able to enjoy your company, have fun and feel completely comfortable :) I work full time Monday to Friday in Milton so even better if it's near the city too! Ideal place: Amazing people, private bathroom, large bedroom and a decent amount of clothing space.
