About 6 mins walk to Corinda station (10 mins to Indooroopilly, 24 to Central) and 3 mins walk to Coles supermarket and Corinda shops, cafes and restaurants. Swimming pool, large backyard with half court sports area and practice golf net. Two good sized balconies. Family room downstairs has aircon. All bedrooms currently have ceiling fans but I am considering aircon of upstairs rooms. Cable broadband internet and reasonable use of utilities up to a negotiated amount will be included in the rent. (2 ROOMS TAKEN and one RESERVED until 27th).
I am 25 yrs and currently work full time in Government position in Ipswich, I work long hours and spend most nights going to the gym or relaxing watching Netflix after cooking dinner. I am very social, love chatting and I don't mind a drink on occasions. I'm not a crazy party goer these days but do like the occasional night out. I like to keep my self tidy, and find cleaning sometimes quite enjoyable and am very respectful of others. I dont mind animals. Looking for a place which has like minded people who are a similar age and reasonably easy going
Easy going girl from Germany. I like to have a drink sometimes but Im not a party animal.
We are a couple working in full time jobs. Im working in Finance and my partner as a carpenter. We love the nature and our new hobbie is play tennis. We are looking for a quiet and nice place to stay 6 months or longer.
To unique individuals, I want to team up for accommodation i have found thats 300m from Darra train station. Its a nice set up. Price is $145 per week and includes quality things. Read my other ad to know more. About me : I’ve been away from all things, sleeping in my car and living near the beach from time to time, up the coast to my folks and back. Been doing most of that for the past few years. The new years resolution is to settle down. I am a dumpster diver and like things with the land. An avid recyclist, the bottles for cash exchange is just a few minutes drive, up the road. Where am I going? I’m not sure if I will leave Darra any time soon. Especially if i get people that can accept my few rules living with me. Darra is quite, safe and greeny but is accesible to many places via public transport frequently. Like i said, i want to stay for at least a few years. However I’ll be hitting on going to do adventures in my mighty Kia, travelling where ever it takes me. If i get the correct people, then i can do that sooner. I am not totally dependent however and that i need to learn how to do some basics. A vegan shop used to sell food at corinda but it no longer does and my dumpster diving hide-out totally closed down. So if you know how to cook up a healthy meal, preferably semi vegan / vegetarian and don't mind me contributing to your cooking, that would be ideal. I also want to spend 6 months totally away so i need a cleaning plan or somone that will keep the premises tidy and un-damaged. Its been memorable and i really am hoping this gets to you, unique individual. My aim is to not reach the common attainment but appreciate the simple things in life and understand and accept the fact that i don't really know where im going, though now is the time i got to be willing to try a little harder so all things that when i go back thinking ( back then ) , i want to accomplish them ( today ). I always appreciate the nature side of things and believe we need to think of our foot-print instead of just always money. Probably the most important thing I’ve learned so far is that the life we live is generated by ourselves - the things we do governs how we become. There’s more to life than business and money, we should live our lives whilst we have the chance. Like taking time out from the digital distortion, use our brain and hands to make things. We start to work and do businesses to enable nomadic lifestyles, then somehow get caught up trying to earn more, more - more - which happens easily when surrounded by other business people. You don't need to be working if your to stay here or be something for acceptance. I sometimes go back to centre-link in between finding jobs and i manage to always be ahead of my rent. You will need to pay a 2 weeks bond ( 2 × $145 ) plus 2 weeks in advance & you either keep paying weekly or don't pay for 2 weeks and your advance gets used up. Thanks for reading a bit about me, the people im seeking and the basics of the place. For more detailed on the property, view my other listing. Have a good one.
Hey Guys, I'm Hassam, a full-time accounting/finance professional working as Financial controller in an SME straight out of undergrad 1 year ago. I'm a friendly, down to earth and tidy individual. I don't mind a drink or two in the evenings after a good gym session (reward for working out hehe). Movie nights or Netflix binges also yayy! Also, I understand people need their own space and I respect that! Looking for friendly housemates who can make my relocation from Melbourne to Brisbane so much easier. Cheers!
Move date is a guesstimate as not exactly sure yet but most likely within 1month. Household presently in is amicably dissolving due to changes in our lives/circumstances. Please message me through here or if you text my mobile, please include your listing's webpage address. Otherwise, i'm sorry but i won't be interested as then you aren't verified and i don't know you're for real. Looking for quiet place that allows indoor only cats. After a place for a minimum of 3 months, if works out well, would stay for longer. Am 44, a non smoker/drinker, on disability pension for permanent health issues (migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia and mobility issues). Fairly tidy person, but hygiene is must with me for kitchen and bathroom. I can be picky with kitchen and bathroom/toilet cleaniless, with keeping them clean as possible, the kitchen especially. Due to health, althu i like keep things tidy with my other living areas, i can't always clean as would like to, but when able to, do tend to have cleaning episodes where as much as can be cleaned/tidied is done (usually everything). Am otherwise fairly easy going, quirky, quiet, respectful person, preferring to keep to myself and needing own private space. I am an introvert who loves reading, writing, music, movies and am frequently on computer and streaming movies/tv (when/where possible). Have tastes more alternative than mainstream and am most definitely not 'girly'. I am well used to sharing with guys and girls. Also well accustomed to being around 'freaks', nerds/geeks, and others of 'peculiar' hobbies (such as all forms of rpg's, gamers, etc). Don't mind being around children of school age, happy to occasionally babysit so parents can have some time out for themselves. Need my cat with me, he is my ESA (emotional support animal) with my health issues. My cat is a quiet, clean, desexed, indoor cat who is very skittish around other people until he knows them which takes first getting used to the new place then to the new people. (Being a cat not used to people in general it will take some time in a new place, with new people.) My cat is fully an indoor only cat so must have a place that's fully ok with that. As is an indoor cat, I do take steps to minimise any smell (such as litter tray odour reducers and air fresheners, etc) and clean both his food bowls and litter tray daily. Preferring to live on own in small self contained place that is quiet and not many people around as need own space, mostly as I get paranoid about my cat getting outside and getting hurt or going missing. Needing a place without steps, easy to maintain and close-ish to some type of shopping center if possible. Do not have own car. While prefer living in own space, don't mind sharing with 1 or 2 others who are also quietish people if have my own quiet space. Would also consider sharing with a single parent with a child. Have own furniture etc, so need non furnished place. Also bedroom needs space for a queen bed as need to have my own bed as i have special needs with my bed. Mostly looking for a place close(ish) to Centenary area or Indooroopilly or within easy drive of them, and with easy, close parking for family who help me get around for shopping, doctor visits etc. But as know my options will be limited, willing to consider many other areas. Also as tend to do online shopping with home deliveries, need it to be ok with that. As for rent / costs / bills can afford, i can go higher than $150pw rent if bills are fully included or i have more space for my own things so less costs in paying for storage with what i don't have space for. If you look at my fb, please know i have it set to fully private (as i'm a very private person) and show my liking for HP Lovecraft in the cover picture. Also, my first name on it is my nickname not my legal first name due to having an abusive ex - he is no longer an issue except only on social media (fb is aware of the situation and worked with me on it).
Hi, I will be moving from Melbourne to Brisbane at the end of January / early February. I have a few prospective job offers waiting in Brisbane, as a truck driver. Yes I do have children but they live elsewhere in brisbane and will not be living / staying with me. I consider myself a considerate and tidy housemate and think it's important to strike the right balance between a functional friendship and giving a housie some space! I have experience with sharing a flat / house and can provide a reference from my present landlady / housemate. Although I am a smoker I prefer a house where smoking is outdoors only. Finally, I am pet-friendly. Hope to hear from you soon. With kind regards, Paul
Hi, I'm Jack. I recently landed my grad job as a process engineer, and with my current tenancy expiring, I'm looking for a new place with a few friendly faces to call home. While I do like a good chat, I'm generally the kind of housemate who'll keep to himself. Born and bred in Brisbane, I enjoy reading and keeping fit in my spare time.
Hi my name is Vi, I’m 22 year old female currently working full time as a store manager. I am looking for a place with my own bathroom and preferably with a walk in wardrobe! I am quite neat and tidy so there will be no issues with mess. Please don’t be shy to message me if you have anything available for me! Thanks
Hi! Im an easy going gal working full-time as a software developer in Seventeen Miles Rocks. I’m looking for a room in a friendly, laid-back and clean home. In my down time I love having a few beers and bingeing trashy Netflix shows.
I am very clean, keep to myself most of the time, work full time, and have a very active lifestyle. If I’m not at the gym, I’m playing netball or TRL or hanging out with friends. My little companion is very low maintenance, she loves cuddles and attention, and house trained if need be. she’s always been an inside dog however loves walks.
Looking for a friendly face to share my two bedroom flat in Corinda. The place is located in a block of 6 units and is only a 5 minute walk away from the train station ( 20 minutes to CBD), Coles and many takeaways and restaurants. If you drive, the covered parking space in the garage will be entirely for you, and there is also a lot of storage space there as well. There's a large TV with a Chromecast that can be used as well. While the flat is fully furnished, your room only has a wardrobe in it currently. As the place isn't very large and I already have a cat, unfortunately, only pets in cages or tanks can be accepted. A new shower and sink was installed only a few months ago, with further improvements coming in the future. The tenants in the other units are very nice and helpful as well, and after living here myself for 18 months I enjoy the community atmosphere.
I am a Primary School Teacher. I love music. Used to be a musician. I am pretty quiet and keep to myself (prepping for lessons and playing computer games most nights) but I love to have a beer and a chat. I am not a smoker and I will not necessarily have a pet, but I am fine with both (insofar as the smoking is not inside).
Hi, I'm Stefan, easy going, relaxed and like a good laugh. I have a full-time job that involves travelling overseas occasionally. Looking for a fully furnished place with my own bathroom/shower preferably. My Cousin from Europe, the woman in the picture is coming to stay with me from 23rd Feb until 14th May so she'll need a room for that short time, happy to work something out. 30th January onwards. I enjoy an active life, dance, singing etc.. always respectful of others personal space and privacy. I'm clean and tidy with great personal hygiene, fit and don't smoke. Looking for somewhere central between Ipswich and Brisbane within walking distance to a train station. Allergic to cats so a cat free place would be great!
I’m easy for a chat, but I’ll mostly keep to myself. I’m tidy and any mess I create in common areas will be cleaned up without hassle. I’ve just graduated high school and am looking for somewhere; anywhere! to live as a semi-permanent solution. Roommates wouldn’t bother me but as well as that I’m happy with no roommates. I enjoy all sorts of activities so in my spare time I’ll probably be out and about seeing what there is to do around the city and when I’m not I’ll be at home with my earphones in and head in a book.
Hi, my name is Matt, I am 24 and a HPE teacher working full time and looking for a 12 month lease. I am clean, respectful and courteous and have lived in share houses before with no issues and remain good friends with former housemates. I enjoy listening to music (dont worry I have headphones) and socialising with friends. I enjoy meeting new people, going for coffees/drinks and play in a mens basketball competition at Auchenflower.
I am a student attending South Bank TAFE starting in late January and currently working as a retail assistant in Ipswich, so being close (walking distance) to a bus stop or train station is a necessity. I'm moving by myself with my cat, Juliette, who is nearly 2 years old. She is desexed, an indoor cat, and non-destructive. She is very shy and afraid of most people, but not at all violent. She will stay well out of your business and her food and kitty litter will be kept in my room. I attend karate biweekly in Redbank and cosplay conventions about 2-4 times a year. These are also my main two hobbies. I am an extremely friendly and easy to talk to person, always excited and open to meeting new people. I am a good cook, fairly quiet not interested in throwing parties or anything like that and extremely clean. I look forward to getting to know you.
Modern two storey house in a great location. It is walking distance to shops, public transport, and the public swimming pool as well. It has fully ducted air conditioning, security screens on sliding doors and windows, and a lock up garage. The two rooms available each have a double mirrored wardrobe.
I am a psychologist working full time mon to fri , very busy through the week. I am friendly and respect people's space .I would help in keeping the place tidy .I am always up for a good conversation and a drink or two on weekends .
I'm looking to move to Brisbane from Canberra for an initial 6 months, possibly longer, to spend some quality time with my daughter and grand-daughter. Apart from that, I plan to spend time recuperating as my health is not good, and would therefore prefer a peaceful environment. I mostly like to keep to myself, but also enjoy good, meaningful conversation. I am a non-smoker and only drink a little socially.
Hi! My name is Stephen and I am currently studying Graphic Design at Tafe up at Southbank. I would describe myself as a chill, quiet person and tend to keep to myself most of the time. I am also working part-time at a framing factory, making picture frames. Other than that I'm studying and completing school work most of the time. I cycle a lot, but public transport is my main mode of transportation.. a place close to some public transport would be ideal as I'm a student. Internet is preferred, but not needed Hope to hear from you soon! :D
