As long as everything goes well with my visa (fingers crossed!) I'll be moving to Perth 14th August from London to work for an arts organisation based in Northbridge. I'm looking to live outside of the city as I'd love to have a garden or at least be near greenery. I'm also looking to live with at least 3 or 4 other people as I'm used to living with 6 and love the social element of big, shared houses. I'm vegetarian, love riding my bike, swimming and pretty social. This isn't my first time in Australia so I won't be completely out of my depth on arrival, so you won't need to babysit me.
26 year old Swedish guy that just arrived in Australia. I'm an easygoing exchange student at UWA and looking for a place to live in for at least this semester, maybe longer. I am looking for a shared house within easy reach of the UWA. I take my studies seriously but I also like to have fun so I would preferably like a house with at least some social atmosphere. I will enjoy hanging out, sharing some beers and going to the beach sometimes etc. Back in Sweden I have lived three years at a student accommodation with shared kitchen so I am used to live in a shared household, and I really enjoyed it. I am responsible and I like it clean.
The flat is a stone's throw from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the Fremantle train line and Mosman park shops, so it's a really lovely location! There’s plenty of street parking but there’s also undercover parking if you want to use it. The room is unfurnished but can come with a bookcase/storage if you’d like, it also has a large south-facing window which makes the room really nice and bright and reverse-cycle AC. There's also plenty of room to fit a bed and a desk, convenient for if you're a student/work from home. The wifi is unlimited and this, as well as gas/electricity/water, will be charged on top of the monthly rent, which is changeable but usually pretty reasonable (between $100-$200pp) . The bedrooms are obviously private but the bathroom is shared and kitchen, lounge, laundry, courtyard etc are all available for use.
A short walk to Grant St Station, Swanbourne shops and Cottesloe Beach make this a great location to live in! Set off the street, the house is sheltered from street traffic and noise, but cafés, bars and shops are all close at hand. Internet, Dishwasher, Foxtel, BBQ, Garage Storage, Ducted Air-Con all available. Foxtel/Internet included in Rent. Water/Electricity/Gas additional, but tend to be very reasonable (last round of 3 bills was roughly $70pp).
G'day everyone, My name is Joshua and I'm a professional firefighter and rescue officer working FIFO and I've decided to relocate from the east coast to Perth to minimise the travelling time and maximise my days off. I'm passionate about health and fitness, enjoy a few drinks listening to live music, the beach, outdoors and meeting new people are also interests of mine. I'm someone who is responsible and respectful, positive and self motivated, clean and organised, easy going and fun to be around. I'm somewhat excited to be making this move to the west and it can't come quick enough. I'm looking for a fully furnished room with an ensuite or even a furnished studio or granny flat. I'm not fussed whether I'm sharing with a male or female for I get along with anyone. Eventually I'd be looking to find my own unit or house to call home, but for the immediate period this is what I need to do. So there you go, I look forward to seeing what's out there and available. Happy days one and all, Joshua
Hi I'm Aaron a chinese student doing a master degree at UWA, I'm easy going, considerate and had been sharing houses in London for the past 2 years. I respect others' privacy and not a party person. Most of the time I'm quiet but would enjoy conversations with other people too. I need to Skype with people in the UK regularly so I usually sleep in and get up early. I love animals (except insects) and would like to learn an instrument. I like going to the gym too.
PhD qualified professional Psychologist working 2 and 2 week FIFO job. Reasonably well off, none smoker and quiet family man. Want a quiet and easy life to spend time with my teenage daughters on days off. Only require accommodation for me as my kids live in the family home with Mum.
Just finished 2 years fifo to move full time into the head office in the city. Been in South Fremantle for that time whichever I enjoy buy happy to look anywhere along the beaches or even the river around the city. Young 40, relaxed, clean not a big drinker, would prefer someone with an active lifestyle ie good influence :) or fifo.
Hello! I'm 19, working just out of the city. I'm clean, quiet and rarely home because I'm either at work, at the gym or out with friends/family! I am moving to London in November so I am looking for a cheap place till I leave.

Kean to keep it by the beach so I can surf and live it up in summer. I'm an out going sort of dude but respectful too Hit me up 👌👌
Hi I am a 25 year old woman from Denmark. I am studying for a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School, but I am now beginning a semester at UWA. Therefore, I am looking for a room in Perth from now until the end of November. I have always preferred to live together with other people, but I also like to take time for myself sometimes. I have lived in Copenhagen for some years, but before that I lived in England and Norway for a while. I am very tidy and a non-smoker. As a person, I am very social and I like to spend time with friends and family as well as meeting new people and exploring new countries and cultures. I spend a lot of time doing sports – in Denmark mostly badminton and running. Here in Australia I am looking forward to trying out some of the many outdoor sports. I have just arrived in Perth, so I would like to come by and see the room as soon as possible. Best regards Line Thøgersen
Mature relaxed responsible male. Working full-time in TV industry. Friendly and sociable but always gives people their space. House trained. Non-smoker. Keeps fit and enjoys travel from time to time.
We are a block away from the beach! It's beautiful in summer and winter. And we're only a 5min walk to the train station. The room is downstairs by itself and has its own bathroom. We have Foxtel and the Internet (unlimited broadband) 😀
I am a Psychology and Languages student at the University of Western Australia, who works in a cafe as a barista. I’m fresh back in Perth after spending a semester abroad in Freiburg (southern Germany), and thus am in need of a room (from August 15th or later)! I have loads of experience living in share houses having lived in one in North Perth from 2012-2015 and then two others in West Perth since then. As a housemate I like to have a nice rapport and socialise over a cup of tea or a glass of wine, but also keep to myself when I have a big essay to write for uni or an exhausting day at work. I think it’s really important to have open communication in the house, with as little drama as possible and keep a positive energy amongst each other. I like to keep my spaces tidy, and I love to get together to cook food every now and then if that’s something you’d be interested in! I am currently looking for something between three to four months only. Currently I plan to move to the Netherlands before New Years Eve because my partner lives there- so until the beginning to mid December would suit, however there is a possibility that I might stay longer (by a month or so) Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
I'm a very easy going, friendly 23 year old and work full time shift work (incl nights) as a nurse. When I'm not working I love being outdoors, especially the beach, love travel, camping and exploring, listening to music, getting out and about and catching up with fam and friends, and also studying and having a big ole relax/veg as well. I'm an extremely considerate person, like to keep things tidy, love a good laugh, and like to be sociable with house mates whilst respecting everyone's space. I'm looking for a place to relax and feel at home. I have a pet rabbit Leo who is a little champion and whom I'm hoping is welcome in the right home :)
Hi, My name is Karoliina Kuusisto, a 25-year-old Finnish girl currently conducting my Master’s in International Marketing and Management at Copenhagen Business School. I will study as an exchange student in UWA for one semester. Briefly as a person, I am outgoing, social and internationally-oriented. I love living in different countries, getting to know different cultures and meeting new people. On the other hand, I also care for my grades, so school work is important for me to balance my social life. I am a non-smoker, responsible and very tidy person. As a hobby, I like going to the gym as well as exploring all the cafes and brunch places in Perth ;) I am a big ice hockey fan and have myself played it for 15 years. I also enjoy having some wine and hanging out with friends. Finally, I love traveling and have moved around to different countries most of my adulthood. I am hence also used to living in shared housing and like it a lot. It is nice sometimes to cook and spend time together but I also like to have time to myself. I am already in Perth so I would love to come by to see the room and meet you in person. :) Best, Karoliina
