I’m Australian-grown with proud Sri Lankan roots and have been living here since legally migrating in 2007. Since then, I’ve worked consistently across various industries, currently as a contract bus driver, often up to six days a week. Outside of work, I enjoy movies, music, quiet time, and the occasional quiet drink. I’m not into partying and prefer a clean, relaxed environment where everyone respects each other’s space. I don’t smoke and have no pets, but I do appreciate well-behaved dogs and won’t mind sharing space with them. I enjoy my own space and value some "me time" when I'm off work. I'm culturally open minded, motorcycle-loving (I own a small car and a trike), and tidy by nature. I’m arriving in Cairns for a role working for the Queensland Health Child Development unit located on Draper St. I’ll spend every other week flying to Cape York and the Torres Strait, but will be home most weekends and at the office when I’m not flying out. I’m described as a friendly person, funny and I love talking about books and music. When I’m not at work I’m writing, playing acoustic guitar, watching tv and exploring the neighbourhood.
