Initially the contract is for a month but with the view to extend after a review period. I'm originally from the UK, moved to Melbourne at the end of last year. Hello! I am a 24 year old Research Masters student coming to Perth for a 3-4 month placement at UWA as part of my program. I am originally from Sydney, but have been living and studying in the Netherlands for the past 2 and a half years, and travelling in Europe. Ideally I'd like to sublet a room for this period, but we will see how we go. I am a pretty easy going person to live with, not a neat-freak but also not a slob, I clean up after myself. I am looking forward to living in a warm climate again and going to the beach and park on the weekend. I am really into art, theatre and culture, my placement is related to this. I also love cooking with and for people, I think it can be a really nice way to get to know others. I will only be in Perth for a short amount of time, so I would love to find some fun, sociable housemates who could show me around and help me meet people while in there.
Hey there! My name is LaDonna, I'm 29 and working full time in the fashion industry. I love fitness and living a healthy lifestyle but I also enjoy a wine on the couch, especially on Fridays:) I'd love to find a housemate I can also make a friend, chat about our days and go for brekky on the weekends with. I have a cat called Evie, she’s completely house trained but spends most of her time outside, she’s very sweet.
I am a 27 y/o Irish scientist coming to Perth to do some research at the UWA for 3 months. I’m a very clean, tidy and easy to get along with kind of person. I’m keen to get to take in the sights of Perth and make the most of my short visit.
Hello! I am above all a tidy, quiet and clean person to live with. I do mind my business and personal issues never intoxicate the environment I'm living in. Still, there are some interests I do love such as sports, music, self-improvement and other cultures. Every now and then a glass of wine to socialize with my friends and flatmates while having a good time is paramount for me. Yes, life is too short and it goes fast! People normally feel comfortable with my presence and having me around them as I have lived in some other countries and understand well cultural differences.
I’m a super easy going, friendly 25 year old who has had a lot of experience in shared-living. I’m a high school science teacher - currently doing relief work which I love as it offers a steady amount of work with a high degree of flexibility. I do a little sewing/designing in my spare time so a large room with lots of natural light would be ideal. Apart from that I enjoy cooking, listening to music, reading and watching ABC iview/Netflix. I’m a social person but very much value mine and others personal space. I keep very quiet throughout the week (beside the hum of the sewing machine), go out on the occasional weekend - but generally prefer a little red wine on a porch/backyard. I have one very small, very cuddly dog who I would like to keep with me if possible - (however I am currently a little undecided if I want to take her away from the dogs she lives with now). She’s a toilet trained house dog who absolutely loves people (and cats), so would only need a very small out door space and would be more than happy spending most of her time in my room (although once you meet her you’ll probably want to steal her away into yours). I’d love to hear from you if I sound like a good fit to your share-house! Michelle :)
I'm a quiet and clean Brazilian student coming to Perth for a PhD internship at UWA. I am not a party person and also I don't drink or smoke. At my spare time I like to cook, watch TV/Netflix, read and study. Although shy I am easy going, always open to talk and laugh. I'm organized with common places and housework doesn't intimitades me.
Hello, I'm an Australian Permanent Resident who has recently moved back to Perth in end February 18 - after working in Asia. I am a Human Resources professional, and I'm currently teaching at UWA. I have experience in shared accommodation during my university studies in UWA. I'm an easy going, neat, clean and quiet person - who is respectful of others' privacy as well. I'll take good care of your place. References can be provided too. Having lived, studied and worked in multi-cultural Asia and Perth, I enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I love good books, checking out new cafes, nature and the beaches too! Cheers.
I'm looking for a nice little apartment, in or near the CBD, for around $250-$300 a week. I'm seeking something close to or very close to public transport, I'd like a place where I can have a small dog or cat
Things that make me great...... My faults that I may consider irritating to some is I tend to isolate due to hectic lifestyle, sometimes I’d prefer not to talk, other times I love to talk. Also I laugh a lot in my sleep
Hey everyone! My name is Bert, and I am coming to Perth for an internship at UWA for 4 months from late April to the end of August. This will be my first time in Australia and Perth, so I am a bit new to finding a room in Perth. I am looking for a furnished (or semi furnished, I really only need a bed) from the 24th of April onward.
I work in hospitality, and am a neat, friendly and social person. I have lived in a share house before, so I understand the balance of socialising and having private space in this situation. I was also good at paying bills and rent on time, so no worries there! I have lived my entire life in Western Australia, and like to sing, read, eat out, go to quiz nights and socialise.
I have a room available in a quiet, clean and tidy 2 bedroom apartment on Broadway in Nedlands, only a few minutes walk to UWA. It's a comfortable place, modestly furnished, with air-conditioning, a good kitchen and a decent size bathroom with a washer and drier installed. The location is great for a UWA student or staff member, it's close to bus stops and the Broadway shopping centre, walking distance to QEII hospital, with the river and park-lands just down the street. The room comes with a double bed (with linen), bedside table, chair and desk, and has a built in wardrobe plus other storage if needed. The rent includes all bills and lots of fast Internet :) The apartment is more suited for someone with suitcases
I'm a 29 year old outgoing approachable guy from London, UK. I have just got a job working in surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands, Perth so i'll be moving to Perth in the next few months and I'm just looking for some short term accommodation with nice people who know the lay of the land. I'm pretty sociable as a person, I'm a keen drinker, I play sports and I've travelled a fair bit of the world. I'm a clean and tidy person, really laid back, smiley and I just want to ensure that my time in Perth is best spent with a bunch of great people looking to show the best side of Perth to me. I will probably stay longer but my job placement is for 6 months to a year Get back to me :)
Professional moving from Melbourne to Perth for work. Respectful and clean. Enjoys the company of others and looking to be part of the household. Will tend to do my own thing during the week as pretty busy with work but always happy for a drink, cook dinner and chat in the evenings. Love my food and sport. Looking for houses of 3-4 people all up.
Hello there! How would I describe myself? Personality; Well, I am health concious and I value balance in my life. I don't smoke or do drugs and I don't party. I've been told I'm bubbly, polite, considerate and nice. I'd say I'm hygenic and organised, I like to run by schedule. I'm quite arty, I love art so much I've become a MUA student so that means I'm studying make-up artistry and special effects, I'm also doing a barista course. I hope next year to get into university to study fashion, too. I'm quite ambitious. I enjoy meditation, yoga, pilates and my herbal teas, haha. Perks: I live on a budget, so I schedule my payments on time, my finance's are stable and supported. Sometimes I will do your dishes or other household duties that aren't my responsibility, if I see your struggling. I won't eat your food, please respect mine too. If we want to share, exchange or change anything I'm very open to communication, communication is key. I have the cutest pet rabbit ever named Chi, he's a good boy a bit shy but super loving, obedient and quiet, he's litter trained (which I change the litter every day.) He L-O-V-E-S vegetables and vegetable scraps such as, Basil, Bok choy, Broccoli leaves, Carrot tops, Celery leaves, Cilantro, Clover, Collard greens, Dandelion leaves, Dill, Kale (sparingly)Lettuce – romaine or dark leaf (no iceburg lettuce and no cabbage) Mint, Mustard greens, Parsley, Water cress. He would live inside my room, in a spacious rabbit-cage, it's healthiest for him and It's also out of the heat, he has a hygenic blanket I wash aswell, he's basically my fur baby, I also like taking him for walks by the beach, he loves to dig and play in the waves. Requirements; Please, I do not want to live in a cluttered house or with someone messy, I believe environment has allot to do with health. Small messes or occasional dishes left out are okay, but nothing hectic or built up, please. Possibly, would re-new the 6 month lease, we would have made, again, If desired. I would need access to kitchenware, such as a microwave, toaster, stove, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans. I also would need access to a laundry faciltity and a vaccum/broom but I'd buy my own washing powder and help replace the vaccum bag/s.
I (Acacia) am a bubbly, sporty and social person. I am quite easy-going, honest, considerate of others and clean ☺️ I love the gym, a good swim and playing hockey/basketball mainly but will play any sport. I am currently working in a piggery near Gingin but would love to move to Perth. I am currently looking for another job as well as my casual umpiring job. Verity is another bubbly character who loves to socialise and veg out watching Netflix. She is an apprenticeship hair dresser who is very hard working and passionate. She is very clean and considerate of others. We would both like seperate rooms because though we love each other we love our personal space ☺️
If you're after a roomie that can cook, clean, iron and look after themselves...look no further. Can either keep to myself or get amongst what is going on. Not a party animal. Do spend weekends studying. Enjoy getting out for fitness. Looking for a room that is unfurnished. Only looking to live with one other person. No cats.
I'm a freelance journalist and writer looking to move back to Perth. I've lived in multiple share houses in my time, so I know the drill. I'm chill, sociable and clean - just as happy hanging out as I am being tucked away in my own room. Writing, movies, music and beach sports are what I spend most of my time doing.
Hi, I am looking to join an existing house or team up to start a share house. I am a nurse currently working in the city and I do some work away in the country. I love being in nature and doing things like hiking/camping. I currently live in West Perth and ideally would like to stay in this area. Living so close to Kings Park has been amazing. I don't have a car - I cycle everywhere so if you have a car you can have the car spot! I am quite an active person but also enjoy quiet time. I feel like I am very easy to get along with as a person and in particular to live with. Thanks for reading! Hannah
May I rent half or part of your house? If it has a seperate wing? (I also need a guest bedroom for the occasional guest...) 20+ years in Perth from UK. Now widowed. I have a positive cheerful personality, and I am used to sharing a luxury house. My friends live near or in these areas, financially independent. Friends say I am interesting because of my diverse interests, charity work, business consultant, life coach, cooking, fishing, travel. Interest in art and wine - and share trading. I have excellent referees and references. I understand and respect that we all enjoy some company sometimes but I have a great respect for individual personal space. I once paid rent in a large house but also ran the house and the social life of a golfer who entertained often. Lay out the rules to start with and there are usually no problems....
I am a super cuddly ball of fun! I'm 21 but most people mistake me for 16 - but that's okay! I am an EXCELLENT cheap wine drinker (love a good glass or four of passion pop), though I do enjoy my double blacks and a solid spirit here and there. I am drinking game enthusiast - though my shit fine motor skills and shaky hands mean I am not as good as I like to proclaim. However I also do love a good sleepy glass of rosé rugged up outside at night. I’m a third year psych student at UWA graduating mid sem this year. I'll hopefully be doing honours or some form of 4th year program, and then masters and PhD - so looking for a stable place to live!!! I am a neat freak and often stress-clean (see this is good for you). I will clean my room then I will clean the kitchen then vacuum the house and sanitise things. (I hate germs) (so much). Dirty bathrooms (in terms of dirt/hair/dust/other yuck stuff on the floor/in the shower) are my pet peeve - I will be so uncomfortable !!!! (can't do germs I am sorry) I do have a pup BUT I really doubt I will be taking him with me when I move out, so I would love a house with a pup or cat or rabbit or just SOMETHING I can cuddle and love. I coach kidlet gymnastics (3-12 year olds omg) umm I was working at bakers delight for 4 years but I'm in the process of finding a new job... there's only so much bread one gal can deal with. I also tutor two primary/high school girls so yay. I've had about 9272719 interviews so I'm hoping to have another job soonish 💁🏼 i have no idea what else to add in here so YAY none of that makes sense enjoy deciphering it xoxo
I'm an easy going, friendly and fun person, who is moving over to Perth from Melbourne to start a new job at Princess Margaret Hospital after graduating last year. I'm tidy, clean and respectable. I like to be active, enjoying cooking and eating as well as a beer or a glass of wine. I enjoy a chat about people's day and like hanging our but also enjoy my own time too.
Hi, I'm Alex, I work full-time in IT sales. I have two guiding principles in life: 1. Don't lie. 2. Be responsible. My rent is always going to be paid on time, if I break something I'll let you know about it, and I won't eat your food in the night. I clean my room, as well as common areas after I use them. I've been renting for the last ten years and have a great rep with my former landlords. Things I will happily do with you: * Play board and video games * Watch Patriots games, and Japanese wrestling * Discuss philosophy, history, and psychology * Watch Jordan Peterson or Stefan Molyneux vids * Have meaningful and intense conversations * Go to footy/basketball games * Visit the art gallery * Lift weights * Be included in a cleaning roster * Crack open a few ciders on the weekend I won't be a good fit if: * You're a feminist/social justice warrior (tried it, didn't go well) * You're frequently up late making lots of noise (I hit the sack around 9:30pm every night) * You want to share cooking duties (I count macros and have a very strict diet, but I'm happy to share my meals if you can eat like me) * You don't want meat cooked in the house * You think it's ok to lie, even white lies I'm a fairly assertive guy, and I don't beat around the bush. If you're hard-working, honest, and refuse to be a victim we will get along very well.

I'm a very relaxed Australian guy originally from Geraldton, who likes spending my time with friends. I work in a university and usually get home around 5pm most days. I don't smoke and like my place to be a welcoming place for guests and also for me and those I live with. In other words, a clean and tidy place with character and a homely feel. I lived in Japan for 7 years so I've lived with a lot of different people in share houses over the years I was there.
I am Argentinian, I love nature and activities outside, I have just won a scholarship to study on UWA and I am really exited to have this amaizing experience. I am responsible with housework and neat. Nowadays I live on a flat in Buenos Aires.

I am Justina Serrano, from Córdoba, Argentina. I will be staying in Perth for two years because I am going to study at the UWA. I consider as a very friendly and sociable person; I enjoy spending time with friends and being outdoor, although sometimes I need my space in order to rest or study. I am really well organized and responsible. I like living in in a neat and clean atmosphere.
