Hey everyone! Originally a Sydney-sider, moved to Canberra for five years and now I am making the move to Melbourne. I'll be undertaking a post-graduate degree in Hawthorn (Swinburne) and would love a commute time (transport+walk) of under 35 or so minutes. I'm always up for a chat and love to chill after a long day with some tea (or wine). Shoot me a message if you have any more questions :)
I cook all my meals and love to share, Most of it is pretty good too from what I hear. I'm a bit quirky at times unless work is a bore :( I love all things geeky. Game of Thrones, Dr who, Dota, card games. I also work for a tech company which means mass discounts. I'm a little bit of an extravert when people wanna chat. But usually, I'm always on my computer during weekdays working trying to get ahead in life which means I can be introverted at times. I'm happy to chill and have a drink so long as people want to. I always pay on time. I'd live on my own but my god, renting alone is expensive. Anything else you wanna know, just ask.
Hi my name is Samuel, I am a young professional from Adelaide. I have recently received a promotion within my employer that requires myself to move to Melbourne. I work in wholesale for Australian Fashion Labels where I will now look after all of Victoria and Tasmania. My role requires for myself to have a car so street parking will be helpful. I currently live with my partner of 6 years in a apartment we own together, as he is studying as well as working full time he will be living in Adelaide still. I am a very great housemate who is very clean and respectful of everyone, in my spare time I like to go to the gym or skip that and hangout with my friends in my activewear. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me!
Hi! I'm easy going, but a goal focused person. For work, I'm an Experience Designer at a large retail company. My week usually consists of work and exercise, and then I spend my weekends either out of town, socialising, or relaxing at home. I’m a reasonably tidy person, and primarily like to live in a clean home, as I want to be proud of it. When I have the time, I’ll cook up a nice meal, otherwise cooking involves a quick 10 min meal, and always happy to share!
Hi, my name is Konstantin and my passion is coffee. Thatswhy I decided to quit my Berlin (Germany) based job as a management consultant and moved to Melbourne, to learn everything there is about good coffee. I work in a coffee roastery in Gardenvale ans in a Restaurant in Albert Park. I am a fun, laid-back person. I am very considerate, attentive and tidy and will respect everyones privacy. I love photography and film making as well as watching a good movie or tv-series. I love travelling and hiking, just came back from Tassi..awesome! I am looking forward to meet some nice, interesting people who enjoy some good chats and great company. Free German course included ;)
Hi! I'll be working at the MICF box office during March and April and am looking for a room to rent short-term for the month. Ideal dates would be 21 Apr - 21 Mar but I can be flexible a little either side of these dates if need be. I'll likely be out a lot of the time, either working or seeing shows. I'm mature, respectful, clean and friendly. Perfectly happy to keep to myself, or open to going out for brunch or a beer once in a while if you're looking for someone social!
I am brazilian doctor, moving from Gold Coast to Melbourne from March to May to do a Medical course. I am easy-going, tidy and at the moment focused on my studies. I am also very flexible. I love pets, good food and wine.
Hello :) I'm on the lookout for a quiet place to call home around the inner-east of Melbourne. I'm currently studying full-time and working, so I hope to find a housemate/s who live a similar lifestyle. I visit my family one or two nights a week, study every night, and go to gym before/after work. Big on meal prep and cleaning as far as housey stuff goes, and I love playing guitar. Must have a car spot available (and included in rent please!)
So it's about time i move out of home, so I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm 27, working full time as an engineer. I play footy/basketball/netball, which takes up a few nights a week. I also enjoy the odd beer, cooking, and reading if I find a decent book. I'm looking for a place that has a sort of family/community feel where there's the odd shared meal and everyone can hang out.
Hi, We are two french engineer who are looking for a place to stay during our two months in Melbourne. We are easy to live with and are always open for a chat around some beers. Hi! My name is Vesa, I'm from Finland and I’m studying towards a master’s degree in music education at The University of Melbourne. I’m a peaceful person and easy to live with. My favourite hobbies are music (obviously), sports, such as jogging, cycling and swimming and I love hiking and outdoor life. Student parties aren’t my passion, I’d prefer a walk in a park or a chill board game evening. I’m tidy and systematic, and I like to keep the places clean and things in order. My studying and living are supported financially by Finnish Government, so you can be sure I’ll pay rents and bills on time. :)
Hey, we are a German couple currently living in Melbourne. My Partner Marcel (25) is working in event lighting and I just started at an event agency. We looove food and baking/cooking! I'm also quite passionate about reading, fantasy stuff and rock music. Marcel does a lot of sports and loves concerts and bars. Oh and you'll rarely catch us not wearing black. So thats some stuff about us... don't hesitate to ask some more questions :)
I am an easy going Registered nurse, clean and respectful. I work full time and I am currently studying for my masters. So Im a busy guy but I'm up for chat whenever Im home. I also find time to catch up with friends once in a while when I'm not working. I dont smoke but I dont mind a couple of drinks once in a while. Holla at me if you got a place for me. Thanks.
I'm chill and I like to bake goodies. I also like to play guitar, basketball and find vacuuming relaxing. I like plants. I have a few. I also have a bike. I like to ride it. I like to make people laugh. I love coffee. I like a lot of other things too. I work full time at The Gordon TAFE.
I’m Cameron, a 27yo professional working in industrial real estate with JLL. Originally from the country, I like to keep up general fitness through running and swimming, but I snowboard and atm am getting into kiteboarding. I prefer things clean and tidy at home, I keep it relatively quiet during the week but often don’t get home until late and am sociable on weekends but I am certainly not a party animal. I am friendly and like to keep things social in a homely environment. I am the kind of person who cooks for others if they return the favour now n then.
Engineer by day, quiet nerd by night, party animal come the weekend... well, that would have been true 5 years ago. Now that I'm on the wrong side of 30 things have calmed down a bit. I like to do my own thing during the week, my job is usually pretty hectic so I keep it quiet at home, looking for relaxed or similarly occupied people to share a sanctuary with. Weekends I enjoy getting out and about with mates, hiking and the odd music festival. It's a bipolar existence, but such is the full time grind. I have been in a one bedroom flat for the last year, but I'm looking for a bit of extra space and tbh it is getting a bit lonely. Before this was 9 years between 5 share houses in Melbourne, so I've been around the block. My current place is on month-month lease, so I'm flexible with move in date and can wait for the right place. Ideal location is Richmond due to work and it will need to have somewhere to put my car without getting tickets. Not keen on smoking in the house, outside is none of my business. I love dogs, other pets probably not an issue. Any other potential issues just ask.
I am a Naturopath from Oz, my partner is Dutch and a Social worker / Scaffolder. We are both very easy going, clean and conscious of others. Love to eat, travel, exercise and have a chat! Looking for short term accommodation for a few months while we are here saving and visiting family.
28 year old easy going gay guy. Starting a nursing degree at Deakin in March, also work as a live captioner for TV broadcast (shift work). Clean, friendly and social, but also respectful of other's space.
Hi! My partner and I just moved to Melbourne after traveling the world for a bit. We are easy going and like to watch too much Netflix and chill at home during the week. On the weekends we usually go out for meals and drinks or take the car to a nice national park to explore. Ideally we are looking for a furnished room in a share house. We are vegetarians, clean, respectful and non smokers and love pets!
31 and working in Architecture, I've been travelling to Melbourne from Sydney for work every few weeks this past year and decided to make the move a permanent one. I am looking for a clean, bright and happy house North or East of the city (e.g. Carlton/Fitzroy North to Richmond) to make my morning commute to Brunswick as quick and painless as possible. I am originally from Perth and lived in London for a few years before returning to the east coast, so I already have quite a few friends in Melbourne and like to think I'll be out for dinner a few nights a week and exploring on the weekend - but when I’m home I do like to relax, have a glass of wine and dissect the latest Netflix/Podcast recommendation. I am looking for an easygoing housemate(s) who wants to create a home to relax in and is happy to hang out over a few drinks/dinner from time-to-time. I survived my uni party days and am not looking to relive them, but do like having friends over for a beer when the weather calls for it. They call me the Queen of Cheeseboards for a reason. Bonus points: - I have a quick wit and dry sense of humour - I can’t run to save my life, but try to get to yoga or pilates a couple of times a week - I know a good red wine from a bad one (but will drink both) and am often complimented on my cheese platters - I am housetrained and well-travelled (but not a wanker about it) I'm flexible on move dates (anytime from early March through April) and would rather wait for the right house.
