We're a young professional couple moving after two years in regional Victoria. We're both fairly active, love music, sport, cooking, travel and the odd wine at the end of the week. Send us a message if you'd like to know more!
Just started working in the city. I live clean, tidy and I try to stay organised. I like to take advantage of the weekends, heading out, seeing my friends or family, because the week is almost always a grind. I also play soccer, but I'm not any good at it. Looking forward to moving closer to work to make my life easier on those early start/late night days! Cheers :)
Hello potential new roommate! Why you will love our pad: Firstly, the house is huge! If we didn't want to see each bother for a week this could be possible. We have two huge living rooms, a big kitchen, 3 bathrooms (two with toilets), a side courtyard and plus a courtyard out the back. We have new appliances, a laundry and heating which we are pumped to try out in the winter! Your room is also huge. It has an extra large wardrobe, a balcony, a bathroom and enough room for a bed and a couch (or a desk). We live less the 10 mins from everything. Richmond train station, Swan street, Punt Rd, Botanical gardens, MCG and the CBD is all within walking distance.
Hey house hunters, We're Sam and Lia, two Adelaidians who coincidentally ended up living together from teaming up on flatmates.com. We're currently living close to the city and have decided to move a bit further out (preferably Richmond area) to somewhere a bit more 'homey'. We're in and out of the house a lot at the moment and both enjoy having a good chat in the evening / watching terrible tv shows (think the bachelor, married at first site) so would like to team up with 1-2 others to give the house a more social vibe. A little about us... Sam (25) works in Marketing for a chocolate company in the CBD and travels a bit each week for work. To combat all the chocolate around the house, she likes to get out and about for walks/hikes on the weekend. She's a netflix and tea addict, but also loves heading to the pub for a cider/wine with friends. Lia (30s) works in an government office in CBD. She loves to discover new bars and places to eat. Is very easy going and friendly and loves to travel.
Hi! I am an honest, bubbly, easy going person who loves a good laugh. I am also a clean person and respectful of others. I would love to live with someone who are up for hanging out and doing stuff together once in a while. I love to explore new places and travel, so I am definitely planning on making some small trips once in a while. I enjoy exercising, having Sunday morning brunch and a cheeky drink or three (or maybe a bottle) ;). However, I do enjoy a night in on the couch as well. Happy to live with boys and/or girls. I study full-time and work part time, so I will not be home 24/7. Please make contact if the above copy made you smile. Also, I'm not in the need for a place to live until June, but since I appreciate great flatmates and houses/apartments reflects on you reading this ad. Hehe. Camilla :)
My name is Ben Gunn and I am a 22 y/o recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in NZ. I'm currently in the Maidstone area but am looking to relocate by 5th April at the latest. I have been flatting for the past 4 years while at uni so I know how to keep a place spotless, respect other peoples boundaries, while also having a good time! I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I enjoy a beer or two every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind!
I'm Julio Roa, from Venezuela, I studied Architecture and now I am enrolled in Certificate III spoken and written english in Lonsdale Institute in the CBD. I am easy going, respectful, polite, responsible, independent ; I always have positive attitude. I'm not a smoker. I like to hang out during free time, I move everywhere in bicycle.
Busy 31 year old looking for a space to call home for the next 6-12months. I own my own businesses (a DIY Motorcycle workshop co-op and and Adventure Travel production company) and tend to travel a lot and work very long hours (9-10pm most days). I am a non-smoker, quiet and respectful, but can also enjoy social time with house mates. I tend not to cook at home but rather eat out most nights. Just looking for a cheap place with rad people.
Hi ! I'm Lucile, I'm a french engineering student and I'm going to do a 5-month internship in Melbourne at the CSIRO. I'm looking for a place where I could have my own bedroom. I would love to share a place with friendly and quiet people. I'm super easy-going and I'm also clean and respectful.
Hi! We are a New Zealand couple who have recently moved to Melbourne to work in the film and fashion industry. We are both clean, tidy, easy going, social/ friendly and are used to living with others.
I'm easygoing, relaxed and would love a chat with a beer from time to time. Always keep my room and specialy shared areas clean, wash the dishes after myself and usually sleep early and wake up early. Love a morning run before the day starts. I don't mind different cultures and orientations, keep my housemates privacy and expect the same from them. Currently looking for a great place to stay long term. Cheers
I'm a postgrad student at RMIT city and looking for a private room in a suburbs which have a direct public transport connectivity and doesn't take more than 30 min to reach the city. Move date 27 April.
Easygoing student studying at Melb Uni, working casually (with plenty of hours) at a cafe/bar in the city.
Hi I'm Bella and I'm looking for a place with my partner, Jim. We're from S.A and Melb. We both study full time, and work part time, but while on uni holidays we work full time. Saying that, we don't really have a lot of free time, but when we do, we just like to take it easy. Not really party crazy kind of person, but we're more than happy to have dinner or chill out with a board game or watch a movie, but we love my own space as well. We're clean, responsible, and easy going ^_^
I am a happy healthy fit uncomplicated casual and non-smoking professional. I have lived in Sydney for the past decade and have opted to move to Melbourne and make Australia's sport capital my new home. I enjoy company as much as i enjoy solitude, although a Barossa Red will always lure me into a social gathering. I do not enjoy beer or fast foods. Home and or slow cooking is my preference enjoyed in company and with a decent Red. In terms of my living quarters I'm all in favour of Neat and Tidy living. A cluttered environment scrabbles my contentment mood. I'd rather sacrifice 60 minutes to tidy the kitchen and communal living area, than slouch in front of the TV amidst clutter and jumble. I'm looking forward to making new friends and EnJoYiNg all the wonderful activities Melbourne provides.
Very clean, friendly, respectful, social, easy going. Working holiday Visa holder from California look for a place to live!
I've recently moved from Canada and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I enjoy going out and having the occasional friend over but staying in with a book and some tea is far preferable to me. I'll definitely be a very social house mate as I try to make friends wherever I go. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping and working out. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes and I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
I'm moving back over seas and my room in Cremorne (3mins walk from Richmond station) is available for approx 4-6weeks. This house is in such a handy location to get to anywhere in the city, with easy access to bus, train and trams. The room is available to move into from 10th April, but you can bring stuff in over the weekend before if that is helpful. House is made up of 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a backyard with bbq. House is fully furnished including the bedroom. $400pw - this includes all bills (Internet, Foxtel, Water, Gas, Electric). For couples it would be $450 with the extra person for bills Bond is TBA Look forward to hearing from you
Recently got a full time job and am looking for a fun sharehouse that's close to Richmond/Abbotsford. I'm easy-going, enjoy meeting new people and am always up for a good time. I'm tidy, thoughtful and respectful, and while I generally prefer to be around people, I do occasionally need some time to myself. Now for a list of random things I like: music, beer, books, coffee, art, being active, red wine, peanut butter, brunch, whiskey, movies, cooking, making a fool of myself, intelligent conversations, stupid conversations, travel, naps. Oh, and I like guys.
Easy going, fun and friendly looking for other friendly and liveable housemates to possibly start a new sharehouse or join a good existing one. I've been back in Melbourne just under a year having lived in London and travelled around the world for 3 years. I'm looking for some chilled but social housemates! Have done the houseshare thing before and made some awesome mates from it! As long as you're social, respectful and up for a good time we'll get along fine! I work full time in the city so anywhere inner northern suburbs is ideal.
In my mid twenties, professional (EA) studying part time; in my final years of my Bachelor of Commerce, I live a healthy lifestyle - enjoy going to the gym etc. also very munch enjoy a wine, having a laugh and the occasional night out that escalates into the dreaded Sunday/Monday..Tuesday.. hangover! I'm very relaxed, clean and tidy and have lived with friends for over five years now. Looking for a place, ideally in Hawthorn, Kew, Richmond or close too....
I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne almost a year and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. As a kiwi, my footy knowledge is slowing developing, so I'll be making an effort to attend a few games this season. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
I am a Taiwanese-born medical school graduate who intends on preparing for Medical licensing in Melbourne. I am neat, organized and doesn't drink or smoke.
