* Mid October * Please don't contact for properties available now* Hi! We are a relaxed and sociable couple from the UK moving to Melbourne around the 16th October from Brisi where we have currently been working. Looking to stay until last week of Jan, due to visa ending and then we are off to Asia to travel before heading home. We are easy going, and in the week we work 9-5 in corporate jobs. We are both tidy and always clean up after ourselves. In the week nights we enjoy cooking together, both like to stay pretty active, and love a good netflix and chill. We are respectful of others work schedules and privacy, but equally enjoy chatting about each others days with our roommate! We love making the most of the weekends, exploring the city, going to festivals or summer events, walks in beautiful gardens and taking in all Aus has to offer! We are both very friendly and can get along with pretty much anyone. We love to have a good glass of rose, and are both major foodies! As a couple we love hanging out with groups of friends; and meeting new people on our travels If you have anything suitable please get in touch and would love to facetime/skype to meet and see the place further :) We are interested in a room in a shared house, a shared apartment or a lease transfer for our own place if within budget.
We have a spacious furnished ground floor bedroom available in our amazingly located 4 storey townhouse. (House has been fully furnished since photos taken). The room is available from 15th October. We're looking for a short term rental only as we will be vacating the property on 17th December this year. You will be sharing with myself and one other female housemate. We have a total of 2.5 bathrooms (you will have one bathroom with shower and spa bath/2 toilets between yourself and my other housemate). The house has four bedrooms (only 3 will be occupied), a large and modern open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room. We have a roof terrace, which is great for BBQs and drinks in the summer. There is also a garage space available. Internet, bills and netflix included in rent. The location is awesome, very close to the city/botanical gardens/trains and trams. We're just off of Swan Street, which has a great selection of bars and restaurants and our house is opposite Coles.
PLEASE NOTE: To avoid confusion - there are only TWO rooms available. a large room which is available for LONG TERM (suited to one, or two females - NOT males, or couples) This website does not have capacity to show a rent 'range' for the one room, so we entered the large room as both $230pw (as private room) and $310pw (as shared room, where you bring your own female friend) And a smaller room available for short-term, that can suit male or females NO illicit substances of any kind are tolerated. Extra cheap rent....the cheapest in Richmond, Cremorne and Burnley area, in an original 1850s cottage! Similar to a homestay, very student and WHV-friendly. looking for housemates with no pets, no kids and no overnight guests. (Please do not inquire if you are part of a couple) Close to all transport routes (bus, tram, train) and shops -everything is within 400m. Walking distance to Kangan (fashion and media campus) and Epworth Hospital. Very quiet household and neighbourhood (suits shiftworkers such as nurses, or students) Completely vintage and retro decor throughout. Pocket handkerchief-size permaculture-type jungle in the garden area (TINY --not big enough for entertaining!!) The house is EXTREMELY SMALL inside - there is no loungeroom (the house was built in 1850s as a one bedroom house) the reason why extra overnight ppl in the house is unworkable. Think 'dolls house' size. ****THIS LARGE ROOM IS AVAILABLE NOW ***** Can be used as a female twin-share room ($310pw all inclusive - BYO female friend!!!) or female private room ($230pw all inclusive). This large room is NOT suited for males, is a decent size (3.5m X 3.5m) gets morning light and is FULLY furnished. (NOTE: YOU have to bring your own female friend. We do NOT simply throw strangers together into this room and hope it works out!) This is the first photo shown. **** AVAILABLE NOW, due to a cancelled move-in**** Small-ish room (3.5m x 2.5m) fully furnished with single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelf unit, dressing table and chair, bedside table and lamps. The room is wall papered (discrete floral pattern) and carpeted. It is available for SHORT-TERM ONLY (upto 6months) and can be occupied by either a male OR female - no sharing and no couples. It is only available for short-term as it has some woodwork damage to the doorframe and floor, which will be repaired and thus the room will need to be vacant - subject to builder's delay. (PHOTO of this room will not upload)
Really good location, walking distance to everything! You barely need a car. Nice, comfortable house thats big enough to allow for a bit of privacy. Big back yard and pet friendly! Shower and bath, laundry, study, large kitchen and lounge room.
Hi I'm Jade, I'm 25 from New Zealand. I previously lived in Melbourne for a couple of years before moving to London for just over two years. I have now returned to NZ and am ready to get back into Melbourne life! I will be back in Melb on September 27th. I work in hospitality, usually cafes, so my hours aren't too crazy. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, try out new bars and restaurants, see what events are on in the city or just chill at home. I'm a very easy going person who loves a clean house and respectful housemates. During my time in London I ended up living with over 20 different housemates so I'm very understanding of others and can get on with pretty much anyone!
I'm a neat and tidy individual and very easy going and will chat to anyone! I've lead an interesting life and love finding out about other people's life experiences. I've lived in six countries and loved different aspects of each one. Clearly I love to travel and I'm always looking for my next adventure...I love photography and scuba diving so travel in future will be focused around those activities, however I also love hiking and chilling at the beach! Fitness is part of my life...I love cycling both on and off the road and go to the gym to keep in shape.
I have one bedroom available in an original Victorian terrace style home in Cremorne, ceiling roses, high ceilings and all. It has a BIR as well as a big built in shelf/unit on the wall and a window out to the back courtyard. The communal areas are freshly renovated, with new kitchen and bathroom. The lounge / dining area is quite large and spacious, with glass double doors that open out to the side courtyard. There is 1 shared bathroom/toilet and a small shed containing the outdoor laundry and storage area for bikes etc. There is a nice outdoor courtyard at the back of the house which is great over summer, inclusive of a lemon tree 👍🏽 Richmond train station is a 5-10 minute walk from the house, as well as the church and swan street trams, buses, Woolworths and Coles also being a short 5-10 minute walk. The house is located in a quiet friendly street, walking distance to chapel street, Toorak rd, Swan street, church st and MCG precincts with more bars, cafes and entertainment than you could get to in a year. Bills split evenly. Parking permit available for on street parking. I've never not been able to get a park out the front of the house as there are designated permit only car parks. Internet is $30 each per month.

Hey Hey, I'm Jordan originally from London but I'm half British/French, and have lived in Melbourne for the last 3 years. I work in medicine, but fortunately have an easy going Monday to Friday 9 -5, so no unsociable hours. I used to be a Personal Trainer before I got into medicine, so like exercising, healthy eating & living but don't take things too seriously and enjoy a good meal and a few drinks. I'm friendly, clean, tidy, respectful, considerate, reliable, honest, non-smoking and very happy go lucky. Most weekends I go surfing or diving and have a fairly active social life, but like to come home and relax in a social, chilled atmosphere. I'm just as easy to a enjoy an evening with my housemates, having a chat over some wine and Netflix, but also respect them and their space and let them do what what's good for them. Just looking for some chill, clean, easy going people aged 25 - 35 who would like to be part of a fun and happy house.
Moving back to Melbourne from NSW at the beginning of October for work. I work as a teacher and have secured work in Armadale (Term 4 2017) and an ongoing position in Richmond from January 2018. I have an impeccable rental history with favorable references from all previous housemates. Looking for a quiet sociable house/flat with professionals. I am a healthy active person, I will be working through the week and try to keep active on weekends with riding, running and camping taking up most of my days. I am social but am well past the party stage of life. I hope to hear back. Ben
Hey, I'm Lauren, I work at a design agency in HR, I'm friendly, easy going, I love socialising, coffee, brunch, gym (sometimes I hate it), cooking, chilling at home & listening to podcasts. I'm looking for a place in Richmond, South Yarra, Prahran, Collingwood, Fitzroy. Sharing with 2 - 3 people. I'm looking for likeminded people, social, happy to get a wine/ beer at a local, but also very happy to do their own thing. I am flexible with location.\ I need to find a place around the 1st of October
The low down ⎪ Large room for rent in a share house with a couple, two dogs & a cat. Price for room for one person $230 p/week ($997 pcm) Price for room for couple $150 p/week EACH ($650 pcm EACH) Short Term/backpackers welcome (2 months minimum) Bond is one months rent. Bills are to be shared (can be all included for short term stay), internet is also available. No smokers. Who lives here ⎪ IMPORTANT: There are two friendly boisterous dogs who live here. One is a husky who is big & VERY hairy. The second is a young German Shorthaired Pointer who is a little bit mischievous (but also the most loving dog you will ever meet) If you’re not a dog person or a neat freak who hates animal hair this is not the place for you. Kat is a 33yr old female, who works mostly full time, is positive and friendly and loves having friends and family around. Josh is a 35yr old male who runs a business from home. Both of us are fairly quiet people who keep regular hours and are looking for someone similar. **Please note within the next few months the animals & Josh will be moving to the hills & Kat will take over the small room (currently an office) staying 3 nights a week & the additional bedroom will be rented out to a 3rd housemate. Dogs may come back occasionally for short visits. What’s the vibe? ⎪ We’re keen on reducing waste and using products or homemade stuff for cleaning that’s better for the environment so you need to be conscious of this too. We’re not clean freaks but respectful of common areas. We love having music on, are very partial to incense, and spend most nights chilling at home, often watching TV. We love fresh air so we often have the doors open. What’s the house like?⎪ This is a little boho hippy paradise in Richmond. The house is an old terrace house that is lived in and loved. The animals are inside animals. There are cracks in the walls and holes in the floors but the kitchen and bathroom are in good condition. There is heating in bedrooms & loungeroom. Its in a random little suburb called Cremorne but it’s basically Richmond and five minutes’ walk to the Richmond train station. Apart from the bedrooms, the house has great front porch, lounge room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry & toilet, outside undercover area’s x 2 and great size back yard. On street parking. House is currently fully furnished except for bedroom (includes washing machine and dryer) Backyard is perfect for a keen gardener - there is great opportunity to get stuck into a veggie garden! The bedroom is large, great front window for light, built in open style wardrobe and heating. **Need a bed? Housemate who is leaving to go travelling is selling hers! 2 Months old ~$300 What are we looking for?⎪ Ideally you’ll be chilled, someone who adores animals (if you’re into dog-sitting there’s reduced rent deals available haha), keeps regular hours, environmentally conscious and respectful. BONUS POINTS: Veggie gardener, dog walker, cat cuddler, lawn mower owner. Any other questions please get in touch.

I'm really easy going and neat, I love cooking, sports and going out for a wine or coffee in town and I'm always down to try out new things. I'm a chilean freelance designer/artist who decided to take another route in his life, looking for new expectations and experiences; call it a place to belong :) . I'm calm, tranquil and can chat about any kind of subject in particular so I can know more about others, cultures and chances to take. I'm a tidy and organized person, taking only what I need as tools to prepare myself for everything ahead. I like simple sports, like jogging, 3D art, videogames, literature, chatting about anything in life and learning whatever I'm taught from others just to spend a good time.
Hello! I'm looking for a share house where everyone gets along and can socialise, not just a house with rooms full of people that you never see! I'm a fairly social individual, almost always up for a chat, a cook up or a beer! I play in a band, currently work in engineering, I like bike riding, photography, reading and getting out of the city whenever I can. I pay my bills and rent on time, clean up after myself, and generally not fussed about much else that goes on in the house. Please adopt me!
