The house is in an amazing location with great Cafe's, Pubs and Restaurants just around the corner. It is less than 5 minutes walk to Swan St, Chapel St and the Yarra. It has a large living space and kitchen with back garden/deck. High ceilings and plenty of natural light throughout. The bedroom has plenty of storage with floor to ceiling built in wardrobes. Big bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower. The house is furnished except for the available room, but there is plenty of space if you have extra stuff you want to bring as well. Rent is $300 for 1 person and $350 for couples
Hi, I am looking for an easy going, professional Female to move into a nice house with. I am tidy, responsible and respectful of others. I am a professional working in the CBD. I have two really cute dogs Sadie (Border Collie) and Lincoln (Heeler/Kelpie) both 12 years old, well behaved, very friendly. I have a reference from my previous landlord in regards to the behavior of my dogs. I work in retail (outdoor industry); in my spare time I am generally being active, walking Sadie and Lincoln, going to the gym, the beach, day hikes or being social - but also love my quiet times at home. Available to move in immediately, but can wait several weeks if room is not available yet.
Hello all, A 21 years old Aussie looking for a place to move into hopefully sometime within the next two weeks. I am currently residing in St Kilda East but looking for a clean and slightly quieter place to transition to. I'm looking for a place that is relatively relaxed on weeknights but totally happy for some rowdiness on the weekends. My rent max is 250p/w including bills!.. would be fab :) I'm your gal for a weekend coffee and brunch, I'm down for house family fun nights, movie night, game nights, party nights. I'm in search for a comfortable place where people communicate and live as a little family home rather than just a house. Looking for a place where I can relate to housemates, have a chat and call a place a home for a while. I love animals so bonus if you have or allow animals, if not that's cool too because I don't own any and do spend some time volunteering with animals. I currently work Monday-Friday full-time hours in South Yarra and study Vet Nursing part time online mostly. I am still relatively new to Melbourne and love adventuring out seeing all the city has to offer. As summer is rolling around, it would be fab to find some house mates that enjoy getting outdoors in the sun and water. Please feel free to hit me up if you have a young 20's - 30's household in need of a clean, respectful, easy-going, fun, young, independent white woman. I love you all! Stay groovy, Alesia :) P.S. Furnished would be ideal, though could make unfurnished work for the right place as there are plenty of groovy op shops and people to buy from around.
Hiya Im Ally! Im employed full time, so therefore im usually out of home at around 6 and home by 7 to also include some gym time! Quite a low key girl, nothing like a sunday brunch followed by the football. Always up for a chat
I’m just about to move to Melbourne for work from Sydney. I’m working full time in a national communications/events role and looking for a like minded flatmate(s) to make my living experience in Melbourne enjoyable. I’m really excited to explore the city and meet new people. I’m a super easy going & a social person, I love checking out new bars/restaurants/clubs and will always be up for a wine or two. (P.s did I mention I work in liquor so there will be plenty of perks coming your way.) I’m a very clean person and love to keep my place tidy. I like to cook whole, plant based healthy food and will often prepare all my meals for the week. I’m also into the gym and will try to go before work in the morning. During the week I’ll generally be out at industry events or at dinners with girlfriends, but sometimes will just take it easy. I’m very blonde and tall, and often get asked if I’m swedish (which I reply to in a made up accent.) Preferences for a car spot, and furnished room, but it wouldn't rule a nice place out. I would love to connect and chat to you more about how I will be an awesome flatmate :D
Hi, I'm Laura, moving to Melbourne for work. I'm easygoing, clean and considerate around the house, sociable but not a party animal. I work full-time, study part time, like to get out and about (hiking, camping, exercise, arts, social events). I also like cooking and would love to share dinner with housemates occasionally. I don't smoke and would be looking for a non-smoking house. I have no children or pets, but am fine with other people's. I'm looking for a long term sharehouse, preferable for 1 year or more, with great people and positive attitudes. People and location are important to me, not fussed if the place is fancy or not. Please let me know if you have any questions or know of something that might suit. Cheers Laura
Hello future house mate(s) I'm a 27 y/o I.T professional. Will always pay bills on time, clean, respect privacy and considerate. Party days are well behind me but always keen for a chat, social drink or a meal out. Was asked to move to Melbourne by my company to look after a couple of projects and gladly accepted. Looking forward to exploring this place.. Have just arrived in Melbourne so available to view rooms. Ideally I'll be sharing the place with 1-2 other persons, have an ensuite and can fit a desk in my room as I tend to work nights/from home on the rare occasion. I do a lot of travel for work so you will often have the place to yourself.
Hi there, Just moved down from Brisbane, where I've willingly chosen to give up the endless sunshine for the freezing cold and rainy days of Melbourne. I'm very passionate about a clean kitchen and paying bills on time as I like being organised. I work part time and study part time. My professional background is in start up management and software services. Not really into partying but I am always up for some few bevs after work. I am also a non-smoker. I don't think I'll be home too much in my spare time as I'll be out getting to know Melbourne. Other interests include making Simpsons references whenever possible and following sports, especially cricket and NFL. Yet to pick a footy team though, so I'll need some guidance on who not to follow!
I am looking for something a little closer to work to make life a lot easier, and lessen the risks of running late to said work. I am an actor, which means I also have a random schedule when it comes to the things I need to do there. Fellow creative types are awesome, or general people who are at least interested in it. Wanting to find somewhere where I can hang out in the common areas, chill out over a wine or chocolate milk, not just ending up stuck in my room. Totally happy to team up but would want to stay with small numbers.
Hey, I am looking for a cosy place to live with kind and fun people that has easy transport around. I'm working in the creative industry, finished studying a year ago. Originally from NZ. I don't know what to write on these things, so message me for more details! 🌻
Hi, My name is Kirby, I'm an Analyst at an investment firm in the CBD. I'm in the process of transferring to New York for work ..future free accomodation ;) I'm looking for a place to stay; probably 3 months, possibly a few more BUT (please don't give up on me yet) I'm more than happy to help find someone suitable to replace me when the time comes. I'm also completing my MBA, so will be pretty chilled around the house / in my room studying a bit, or staying back at work since I'm becoming the procrastination queen at home. Weekends I'm always at the gym and out for brunch with my friends etc. I go to the gym before work everyday, but I'm extremely quiet and I'm out the door within 10 minutes of waking up. I'd be more than happy to pay bond, give a month notice when I move etc, although I don't really want to go on a lease given my situation. Thanks, Kirby
I'm a friendly and laid back person with a good sense of humour. I like to keep to myself but also happy to socialise. I enjoy music, books, games, movies, comedy, adventures outdoors and relaxing. I'm finishing studies in horticulture and environmental conservation this year. I run my own Garden Maintenance business. I sing in a choir, am apart of the Melbourne University Fencing team and planning to go back to martial arts training in the near future. Feel free to ask me any questions :)
Melbourne born and bread. Working full time managing a bar but going back to uni next year. Can promise I will come home with beer and wine that I convince reps "I will definitely try and get on the menu" and war stories of working in customer service. Looking for a place that is worthy of a sitcom but with people who also respect how nice it can be to sit in the dark and just watch Netflix by yourself. If you want any more info about me give me a call or a text
Hey all, I'm Alex. My hobbies would include some form of gym training, socialising with friends and family members, playing the odd videogame and learning about as many different things as I can through podcasts, audiobooks and conversation. I'm pretty sure I'm easy going, am not passive aggressive, am clean, tidy and respectful. Dealbreakers include housemates smoking indoors and ridiculous amounts of pet hair everywhere. Places with floorboards are preferred. Though they are under control, I do have asthma and get hayfever.. hence the above comments. I work in construction management in Collingwood and am looking to move closer to there unless an amazing tenancy presents itself. Cheers, Alex
Hello potential roommates! My name is Alex and I'm a 27 year old male looking for a new home as well as new roommates to shake things up in my life, in a good way! Ideally I would be located in area with a buzzing culture, great atmosphere and close proximity to my job in the city. I am originally from Sydney but have been living in Melbourne for over a year now. Previous to that I had come back from travelling Europe and Asia for 7 months, which was one of the drivers for the move between cities. I am a clean and friendly roommate with a vast array of cultural, music, film and sports interests. I'm a highly social person who loves to chat and have a laugh. Not much of a cook but am keen to learn, believe it or not though I do enjoy cleaning. Message me to discuss our next steps to hopefully becoming roommates.
Hi I'm Natasha :) Recently moved to Melbourne and work in the CBD. Looking for a wonderful new space to call my own! I like a clean, tidy and amicable home. I like getting to know people and would love to chat and go out with my flatmates but also prefer my downtime, especially after work.
Looking for team-ups only as I have everything required to set up a new flat; all you'll need is your own bed! Ideally looking for somewhere in the pocket surrounding the Botanic Gardens - I have my eye on some buildings in Cremorne if there are still apartments available - and would love a pool in the complex if possible. Two bathrooms are a necessity, and I also have a car (for now) so a place to park it is also ideal. I am flexible on move dates, as I haven't given notice where I am currently living. Just putting the feelers out to see if I can find a like (enough) minded individual to sign a lease with. I love being active; bouldering and walking around town are all I need. I love going to the movies, watching episodes of TV shows I've seen a million times, and am always trying out a new hobby or activity. I bake and cook, I clean, I will respect your space and your property and expect the same in return. I enjoy time to myself, but I'm also keen to make a new friend and share some meals and drinks throughout the week. I really want to put down roots, so please only contact if you're looking for a long term lease. Tell me a bit about yourself!
Hi guys, My name is Hannah and I'm quite a friendly person! I'm born and bread in Melbourne, and currently working full time the standard hours 9-5 hours. This, along with studying full time takes up quite a big deal of my time! During the week after work I like to relax and over the weekend I like to be social.I like to Live an active and healthy lifestyle and be surrounded by fun, energetic and happy people. Don't get me wrong, at times I do like to keep to myself and just relax!
I'm a 27 year old accountant who makes up for his nerdy/geeky hobbies by playing Aussie Rules most weekends. Been living in Sandringham for the previous 12 months and slowly creeping closer to the city after being brought up in Chelsea. I'm a non-smoker, love dogs and know how to clean up after myself. Social drinker, preferring pubs and bars over clubs. Looking to move closer to work, the city and the footy club
