Hey there, I’m a professional guy who’s looking a good place for long term either short term on urgent basis. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards,
I'm a science and maths teacher that will be working at a school in Prahran next year. I'm a clean and considerate person and generally won't spend too much time at home. I love to spend my spare time amongst the outdoors or with friends. I love a wine and a boogie but also don't mind spending the night in with a block of chocolate and face mask. Accessibility to public transport is a must and would prefer to live in a mixed or female house. Unfortunately, I'm unable to live with smokers or cats.
Hi future flatmate, I'm Rocky, another Kiwi who has moved to Melbourne to work in the insurance industry. I'm a respectful flatmate and believe in creating a harmonious environment for everyone in the home. I am respectful of shared spaces but enjoy socialising and getting to know my flatmates and won't be shut up in my room when I'm home. When being social, I love to sit in the garden or living room, swap some stories, laugh, and share a bottle of wine with some delicious cheese. Board games are another great choice! Most evenings I will be busy with something, gym, yoga, pottery or cooking classes, dinner with friends, or errands and on weekends, I spend exploring, art galleries, shops, travel, and markets. What can I bring? Excellent cooking skills, happy to help out in flat duties, caring and open personality, mature attitude, and fun.
I'm an easy going person moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane. I love a good chat over a glass of wine but appreciate mine and others space. I am very clean and respectful and love being out and about. I enjoy keeping active and love to cook on the weekends.
One room in a bright and airy apartment in Cremorne/Richmond available from mid July living with a low touch, laid back, busy young professional! I've just recently bought this apartment/townhouse (so it’s owner-occupied) and am renting out the second room (fully furnished). It's the size of an apartment (100m2) however it's two stories so feels more like a townhouse. Downstairs, there's an open living kitchen with an island bench with all appliances (dishwasher, nutribullet, slowcooker, rice cooker, microwave) and a laundry with a two-in-one washing machine/dryer, a clothes steamer and iron/ironing board. The outside doors open right up as well which turns the living room and courtyard into an awesome space for summer. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom which is large (heated towel rack, double head shower, bath). The available bedroom is a modest size with lots of natural light, loads of storage and comes fully furnished with a double bed (just need sheets). There are two small windows in the available bedroom however they let in a lot of light. It's located on Dover St in Cremorne (just a short stroll to the Cherry Tree Hotel/MCG/Richmond Station/East Richmond Station/Royal Saxon/Price Alfred etc). The place is a 5-7 minute walk to Richmond Station/East Richmond Station as well as to Swan St for the number 70 tram (and Messina!). Heaps of detail but always best to know more upfront :) *** sorry no couples *** Bills are generally: - Unlimited internet (TPG) - $30 each p/m Cleaner - $40 each p/m (once a month) Electricity/gas - $30 each p/m (on average) Water - $25 each p/m (on average) Total bills - $125 p/m (on average) I’m generally a low user so looking for someone that’s mindful of that.
Hey there! I have just accepted a new role in Melbourne so am making the move from sunny Brisbane in November. I work in marketing Mon - Fri and am pretty chilled during the week. On weekends I am keen to check out all the foodie hot spots and adventure around Melbourne. I love the outdoors, keeping active, red wine and home cooking! Super chilled, tidy and looking for somewhere I can come home to relax.
Hey I'm Robyn! I'm chilled out, easy going and always up for a laugh! I'm 29, I’ve been living in Melbourne for 18 months and now call it my home. I’ve been in a great sharehouse since January, one of our housemates has bought a house so we’re looking to move out separately. I’m ideally looking to stay in a similar area around Swan St or Bridge road with good access (walking distance) to a station (Richmond/Burnley/East or West Richmond) as I work in the city. I only own a few things; bed, side table, sofa and bicycle so can look at an unfurnished or part furnished bedroom. Ideally looking to move in around November 10th but can be slightly flexible. I'm always up for fun and trying new things. About me: I love dancing and going to the gym! I love finding new brunch spots and exploring new places! I enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle I also love discovering new music, road trips, the occaiosnal night out but also a netflix session. I get on with pretty much anyone in any situation and have a lot of banter which is mostly sarcastic. Oh also I'm obsessed with dogs...so if you happen to have one it’s a bonus for me and I will happily walk it!! If I sound someone you'd get along with please drop me a message. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi all, I moved down to Melbourne from Queensland at the start of last year to start work as a physiotherapist. I love what Melbourne has to offer so would prefer to be closer to the city. I've lived in share houses for a few years and have been lucky enough to share with some pretty great people. Happy sharing responsibilities but am a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I also have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Please only contact me on the website as right now I'm living in flight mode. I may take a couple of days to reply as I'm in and out of wifi! Ideally looking to move December or January.
Hi there ! I'm 26, French, originally leather craftswoman, trying to find a job in construction for now. I'm currently sleeping from couch to couch in my friend's houses... so I often dream about a real bed in a cheerful home surrounded by lovely mates :) I used to live in several shared houses, always for a long time, always a new family ! I'm totally respectful of the personal space of each other and enjoy some quiet moments on my own but I also love sharing long and exciting discussions with friends, drinking a glass of wine (or two), as well as going to exhibitions or gigs. I love animals and sports, I love discovering new songs or new restaurants, I love when a house is clean, well-decorated and smells good and I love cooking...I didn't say that I was a good cook but I really like to cook for people so let me a chance ;) Hope we will get along ! Can't wait to meeting you !
House: A beautiful, old home situated only a 2-minute walk from the Yarra River, 5-10-minute walk to the Botanical Gardens, Swan St is around the corner- with all its amazing restaurants, bars, pubs and shops, including Coles supermarket. As for public transport, Richmond station and the 70 tram is only an 8-minute walk away. The train is only one stop away from Flinders Street Station- central to Melbourne City and a stop away from South Yarra. We are also right next to AAMI Park and the MCG. The kitchen is great for cooking and it has a dishwasher and a large pantry. The living room is a good size for all to hang out. We also have a large lush, green backyard with car parking space. And we also have a permit to park the car on the street. The room is a medium sized room and fits a queen size bed, clothes rack, chest of drawers and a desk. The room is carpeted and has heaps of sunlight from the morning until the afternoon. The house has central heating and air con in the lounge room and we also have an amazing internet. Price: $786 on the 1st of every calendar month. Bills are not included. Bond is $1140.75. I'm looking for someone who would be happy to move in around the end of November or the start of December.
The property is a terrace house in Cremorne, 5 minute walk to Swan Street, Coles and 3 min walk to Fitness First gym or F45. It's a great location to get anywhere in Melbourne with access to 2 tram lines, East Richmond Station and Richmond Station. We love our little house in Cremorne! We take great care of the property and have a large backyard with a BBQ, little veggie patch and outdoor seating area.
Hey there! I have just moved to Melbourne from NZ and am currently looking for a place! I’m a chill person who loves to socialise but also kick back with some alone time. Love to cook, and am clean and tidy!
Hi I’m Zeb, I am a 32 year old male chef from Geelong. I am very easy going and I am always up for a laugh or chat. I generally work Day time hours and most weekends. I really like outdoors and eating out/exploring the city
Hi, my name is Jacky and I am looking for a place to stay long term. I'm a primary school teacher that is relocating back to the South East suburbs after spending a year up North. I am open to a couple of locations. Ideally they would be the ones closer to the city. A little about me: Originally from Hong Kong, I've been in Melbourne for almost 5 years now (uni and employment). I am an introvert but I am always down for a good bev or two. I am a huge fan of video games, marvel movies, corny jokes, gym runs, hiking, edm and banter-filled brunches. While I will usually end up staying in my room after a long day of work with Netflix on, I am always happy to have a chat and hangout with whoever I'm living with. I enjoy living with housemates and becoming great friends with them. I rarely turn down bonding opportunities when they come by. On occasion, I do go for night outs but whatever happens outside stays outside and I don't bring any of that racket home with me. Rent is always paid on time and I am a tidy person when it comes to common shared areas. Always happy to do my part in our shared home. Ideally my home would be: - Bills included with rent - Close to shops and the train station (walking distances preferred) - Available for parking because I have a car (off-street is fine). My contract with my current living location ends on the 11th of December 2018 - so I'd love to be in my new home before then! I work full time from 7-5, so any calls will have to be after that. Best way to contact me is to message me on Flatmates! Thank you and I look forward to hear from you soon x.
Hello everyone! I am from Madrid, Spain on a working holiday visa. I am just looking for a cool place to stay for a couple months in Melbourne. About me: easygoing, openminded, organized and clean. I'm a guy who loves outdoors but i'm always down to hang out for drinks and party! I enjoy heading out with friends to go see gigs, festivals, camping and just enjoying Melbourne smorgasbord of arts :) Looking for a single room but also don't mind sharing a room so let me know if you are interested!
I'm clean, pay bills on time and am easy going. I work full time as a paramedic. I enjoy catching up with housemates over a drink/meal etc. I do come with a friendly cat called Archie who enjoys the odd pat but mostly does his own thing.
We are two friends looking for our new housemate. We've been living in Richmond for the last few years but unfortunately have to move so now we're looking for someone to help us find the perfect 3 bedroom place together. The place will be mostly furnished, except for your room. We're searching for a friendly, trustworthy and relaxed housemate and want someone who is around our age, works full-time and who is happy to share the occasional drink, pub meal or get together! We'd prefer someone who isn't always in their room and who isn't anti-social or messy. We are often home on weeknights and don’t mind a laugh in front of the TV! We’re respectful of each other and are mindful of keeping our home tidy so everyone can enjoy it all of the time. About us: Hi, I’m Anna. I work in the CBD. I tap dance (don’t worry, I don’t practice at home!) and try to walk to and from the city most days. Other than tap, I’m usually home on weeknights, but am always out and about seeing my friends and family on the weekends. I'm sociable and love going for coffees, drinks and dinners. I also visit family in Inverloch every few weeks. I’m relaxed, easy to get along with and always up for a chat. Hey, I’m Elle. I’m working full-time around the Southbank area and also studying a little on the side. I’m easy to get along with, considerate and friendly. I’m always up for a good laugh, drink/s and making new friends! I enjoy travelling, catching up with friends and the occasional movie night in. Every now and then I'll also head down to Geelong to see friends and family. Hope to meet you soon! Please contact us if you would like to meet up for a chat or if you have any questions.

Rent is VERY cheap at $250pw/$1083.35 pcm for a private furnished room in Richmond area - as it INCLUDES many other things: Utility bills, SOME household basics (dishwashing liquid etc) and bedlinen. (wifi is EXTRA $2.50pw/$10p mth if you don't have your own mobile data allowance) This room can even be used as a TWIN-SHARE, for slightly higher rent of $360pw/$1560pcm incl Utilities etc, as there are 2 x single beds, but you have to bring your own friend (both move in together at the same time). Please do not inquire if you have pets. PHOTOS OF THIS MEDIUM ROOM are first and second ones. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** SMALLER, SHORT TERM ROOM, COMING AVAILABLE FROM 1st MARCH 2019 **** Small to medium room (3.5m x 2.5m) , that can suit a someone for 2mth to about 9mth. It CANNOT be shared in any way - no couples, no sleepover friends, no bed-sharing, no randoms. Please do not inquire if you are part of a couple, or have pets. Fully furnished with single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelf unit, dressing table and chair, bedside table and lamps. The room is wall papered (discrete floral pattern) and carpeted. It gets excellent natural light and can only be occupied by a single PERSON - no sharing, no couples, no sleepovers, no bed-sharers. This is EXTRA CHEAP rent for a completely private lockable room in Richmond at $210pw/$910pcm - as it INCLUDES the Utility bills, bedlinen/bedding and SOME household basics! (Internet is NOT included, but available at $2.50 pw extra cost) SHORT-TERM ROOM ONLY (2 month, upto about 9 months) as there's some woodwork damage to the doorframe and floor, which will be repaired and thus the room will need to be vacant - subject to builder's delay. (PHOTOS of this room are the third and fourth ones) NO illicit substances of any kind are tolerated. A bit like a homestay, we're REALLY student, exchange student and WHV-friendly, we love having Internationals living with us, but only COMPLETELY NON-SMOKING quiet housemates with no pets, no kids and no frequent guests. (Please do not inquire if you are a party animal) Excellent location close to several colleges (ACU, Burnley, KANGAN, RMIT, Prahran, English language schools in CBD) And quite close to Epworth and Mercy Hospitals. Close to all transport routes (bus, tram, train) and shops - everything is within 400m and easily walkable. A bicycle and helmet is also available for use. Very quiet household and neighbourhood (suits shiftworkers, nurses, or students) Completely vintage and retro decor throughout. Pocket handkerchief-size wildlife refuge/bee-attracting messy jungle in the garden area (TINY -- not big enough for entertaining!!) The house is EXTREMELY SMALL - there is no separate loungeroom (the original lounge is another bedroom) the reason why extra people around is mostly unworkable. Think smaller than 'dolls house' size...where sometimes you might need squeeze past another person! Also, it is more suited to shorter people (under 1.8m tall) due to generally low-hanging lightfittings and other things like the rangehood and shower rail.
I'm an actor/singer from Perth and just moved to Melbourne. I'm fun, easy going and friendly. I love singing, acting, watching movies, netflix, travelling, and hanging out with friends. Hoping to find a place close to the city or somewhere close to public transport.
Hey there guys! I'm from Malaysia and I recently obtained my PR to live in Australia. Ready to move any time after finding a housemate and securing a place to live. A little info about me, I'm a certified Chemical Engineer and I was working for a Japanese company for 5 years. I don't plan to find a permanent job for the first few months in Melbourne. Probably find some casual jobs to do and explore the area. I love traveling. I hope you are down to explore with me! I am very friendly and superbly tidy (traits I learned from the Japanese). I don't smoke and I only drink with good company, definitely not a party person. I'm a tech lover and a video gamer. I will be bringing my PS4 with me. I'm also addicted to binge watching Netflix but I'm sick of watching alone so please do join me. I can't cook and you'll have to save me in that department but I'm very interested in learning. Besides that, I will have no friends in Melbourne so you have no choice but to be my best friend. I hope you're up for all the banter. Oh added bonus if you're a pet lover! I would like to get a golden retriever puppy in the future. About the arrangement, I am only looking for 1 other housemate. I hope my housemate pays attention to tidiness as much as I do. I would prefer a female because I have too many male friends and I really need to branch out. But if I'm forever doomed to only have male friends, I will accept my fate :p For the location, I would like to live in CBD but anywhere nearby is fine if the company is right. If anyone would want to team up to sign a lease, I will be more than happy to do so. Since this is my first time living in Melbourne, I prefer not to commit to a long term stay but if my flatmate is awesome, I will change to long term without any doubt! Hit me up and let me know what you guys have in mind :)
Hello! My name is Ella and I am looking for a room in a share house in Melbourne. I am currently in Perth however, I have been offered a job in Melbourne so I am moving on the 10th November. I am pretty chilled, I have lived in share houses for a couple of years now . I am clean, tidy and respectful of room mates. I enjoy socialising, a red wine or two and cheese platters. I work in marketing, full time during the week and like to chill out during the week cooking dinner, watch some bachie, master chef.... On the weekends I like to get out and get a coffee, go for walks, pilates and hang out with friends. Looking for a nice place to live with some great people.
I'm Annabel, 20 years old and about to finish my bachelor's degree in Marketing and Media. I'm currently based in Sydney and working part-time in retail but will be searching for full time work in Melbourne as soon as I finish my studies. I'm a pretty chill person, equally happy hanging out with friends and just having some time to myself. I keep pretty busy but when I do get some free time I try (emphasis on try) get to the gym and spend time with friends. I'm an unashamed lover of trash tv and if there's a g&t involved then even better. I'd love to live with other people in their 20's who are easy to get along with, clean, respectful and happy to have some fun.
I recently got a job in Melbourne and am looking for a place to live. From a rural property in NSW, so pretty excited/nervous about moving to Melbourne. I'm a fun, outgoing individual who's always keen for a social night out or just a few quiet beers at home. When I'm not working I like to hang out with mates, get active, be social. I'm a keen gym goer, but also love my pizza and beer. I like to live in a clean environment, so I'll always clean up after myself. Non-smoker, regular drinker. If you want to know more about me check me out or you can get in touch and we can have a chat. I also have a vehicle so would like a place where I can park my vehicle, ideally in off-street parking.
