Hi there! I'm looking for a room somewhere in close proximity to Surry Hills as my old share house is disbanding. I work 9-5ish in the CBD for a beer company and am looking for a bedroom in a friendly and social share house that I can call home. I'm pretty easy going, friendly, neat and tidy. I like to cook and enjoy a nice beer or glass of wine (or whiskey!) of an evening from time to time, when I'm not out and about with my kiwi boyfriend Mike. I speak a bit of (rather poor) French, love travelling and experiencing new things. I play social netball of a Monday night, and am always looking for fill-ins (if there are any takers?) I typically spend the weekends hanging out with Mike and friends in Surry Hills, exploring Sydney, reading on the beach, eating brunch and searching for the best bars in town. I can be a bit of a night owl at times and enjoy heading to the pub for a beer, but I'm no party animal. I've lived in sharehouses for 10 years and am used to having lots of people in a house. I've found that I enjoy the company and feeling like you're part of a 'family', as long as everyone is respectful of each other's space. I'm originally from country Victoria, so a home on a quiet street with a decent outdoor area would make me feel right at home. But more important would be easy access to public transport into the city, as I commute daily, and a space to park my poor, neglected car (street parking is perfectly ok). I love animals but don't have any pets, don't smoke and have no allergies or dietary requirements. I will be homeless as of the 9th of May, though can stay with my boyfriend for a short while if I have to wait for the right place :)
I'm Rob, I'm dutch and I'm a physical therapy student! I'm coming to Australia for my final internship and I wanna have the occasion to dive into the Australian way of living. I'm very easygoing, always in for a laugh and I have a positive attitude! I like different kind of sports like soccer and rugby, I like cooking and eating, and I love travelling around the world. I like to have some personal space but I'm always in for a party. In those last two years I became a huge fun of personal development like meditation and therefore I'm looking for a way how to improve myself as a human being.
I've just moved here from London to start a full time job. I am easy going to live with and clean and tidy. I'm respectful of others and will help when I can. I'm looking for a place for 3/6/12+ months depending on the place and the people I live with. I currently have a place booked until 19th May, so I can move any time before then. I enjoy the outdoors (which I hear is a good thing here), I play a lot of sports, I like comedy and stand up, I like to go to bars/pubs..
Two guys from England, very easy going. We Like to keep things clean and tidy, always getting involved in a tidy-up or spring clean! Dont mind a couple of beers from time to time and love meeting new people. Both currently working in Sydney on a working holiday visa. So we are looking to settle here for a while! Any questions please don't hesitate to ask :) Cheers, Curtis & Joe

Hi guys, my name is Danilo, I'm 28 years old from Italy. I am friendly, polite, clean and handyman, so i can fix sort of any problem in the house ;) I am looking for a private room with queen bad, so no to small. In a share house no more of 4 people. Interesting area: Kings cross, Darlinghurst, Surry Hill, Redfen, wolli creak, Newtown, Bondi or any place around the city Thanks
I'm 24 years old and here from the U.S. (New Jersey). My degree is in fashion design and I am interning with a fashion label while I'm in Sydney part time (pretty regular hours) and working another part time job tba. I like all things creative, sports, going to the beach and out to eat, doing yoga and am attempting to be a runner again. I'm clean and organized (within reason, not a neat freak but don't want to live in a mess) and respectful of other people's space and would like to live with people who are similar. I like to go out but am not super loud and am looking for a roomate/roomates with some mutual interests who I can get along with.
Hi I'm Jenny, I'm 32, originally from the UK and I've been in Australia for nearly 5 years and have no plans to leave any time soon! I work as a project coordinator and work pretty standard hours during the week. I tend to be pretty quiet during the week maybe going out for dinner or a couple of drinks after work a couple of nights but at home the other nights. I tend to be out and about most of the weekend and like going on holiday and weekends away. I like to have friends over occasionally but I'm not one for living in a big party house.
Hi there, I'm looking for an available room in a shared house. My move date is 13th May but this is very flexible. I work Monday-Friday and quite long hours so you won't see me much during the week. I enjoy a good chat but also respect others personal space and private time. I like to keep the place I live clean and hope you do too! Feel free to message me if you have any questions :) Lauren
I am Anna Maria and me and my 2 friends Laura and Kathrin are currently looking for an apartment from May 20th on. We are currently students at ICMS in Manly and would rent the apartment until the beginning of September. We are very reliable, clean, friendly girls and are all 22 years old.
The ULTIMATE room for couples & singles is HERE! Here's why... Aside from having the best vibe, best flatmates, an awesome location and a well-kept wicked house (Yep! We’re modest here! ;))… Our landlord gives us perks you wouldn’t see anywhere. The room has it's own private courtyard, and private ensuite, and the house itself is pretty awesome. Our landlord has been giving anyone staying in the house all costs covered weekend speed boat trips, Hunter Valley trips, kayaking days and a whole bunch of other stuff (which everyone in the house gets once every 2nd month we're in the house) because he can access it cheaply via his online business.... No extra costs, courtesy of the landlord for house socialising once every 2 months have included: - A weekend trip to the Hunter Valley - Rock climbing night - Paddle boarding or kayaking around Sydney Harbour - A speed boat trip around Sydney Harbour - Vivid festival cruise around Sydney Harbour + buffet - Go karting day What the? Why does staying in a house include such things? Our landlord says he offers this because he wants to help us flatmates: - get to know one another - to be able to experience some of the best Sydney has to offer - and because he felt the other places in the city offered a pretty crappy experience with over-crowded houses and little fun. So if we're not doing a cook at home, this makes for awesome days out together as a group of housemates and is included for FREE. Single Person OR Couple, self-enclosed room with private access and ensuite: $365/week + $15/week per person for ALL bills/expenses ($375 total) About us, the house and our awesome location: - It's a BIG house - We’re right in the city - It's also just minutes from the trains, buses, city, cafes, bars, restaurants - Polished timber floorboards and fresh paint - High ornate ceilings, open plan living and dining area - Brand New Kitchen with Stainless steel appliances and stone bench tops - Large 3 - 4br terrace or 3br + self-contained studio/office - Rear lane access for a small car - Attic 4th br or retreat with large terrace with district views - Costs include all bills including UNLIMITED high speed Wifi We don't provide unlimited, but we do provide "the highest speeds available in Sydney" - The house is fully furnished, and has a separate lounge and dining area - Flatmates: We're from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds (some of us are students, others are working and living in Sydney) and we love to meet new people - We're clean, and we're awesome to live with - We're not a party house (so don't worry here, students), but we do love a beer and a cook up! - The house itself is also pretty awesome (almost forgot to mention this!) - Your room would include beds + furniture + whatever style you want to bring to the table! So.... If you’re social, want to enjoy this city to its limits, clean, and looking for the best place to stay in Sydney... Students, working holidayers, Aussies, Europeans, Asians, South Americans, Americans, and all peoples from around the globe, come and join us! Message NOW and hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones to get a room here!! :D (3 MONTHS MINIMUM STAY)
Couple of decent lads from England, always up for a laugh, very clean and tidy. Both working in Sydney on a working holiday visa. Enjoy a few beers on the weekend and love meeting new people.
I've lived in Sydney for around 7 years, originally from Terrigal Central Coast. I predominantly work in acting/modelling. I'm a sociable guy who enjoys meeting new people, having new experiences and seizing the day. Always out and about, either at the gym, work or social occasions. I'm tidy and respectful of others space, thoughtful and consistently positive. Extremely open minded, loves to have a laugh. If you'd like to know anything further feel free to contact! : )
Just a bit about myself...I'm a 29 year old professional working as a consultant but also a fashion designer. I've just moved to Sydney from Perth and looking to stay here for a few years. Very chilled out, like to have a laugh and easy to live with. Looking to move in 13-14 May :)
Hi there, where start... Always I got good and lovely feedback from the past experiences as flatmate sometime turned in real friendships with them, you can find in me a genuine character, i am enough quiet, non-smoking, respectful, easy going and a good house keeping essential. I'm friendly and I respect each others privacy. I'm not boring I can to say funny 🙂 Italian background here moved one year ago in this country. I think I am a good cook. ( sure I'm italian u could think 😜). What else? I love animals but I don't have with me, good if you have making me happy. My certificated job is as make-up Artist, Atm I started to study fitness at school too, I do some modeling and performing jobs too and promoting sometime with my agency.
Multi-racial. I do not discriminate people. Considerate person. I do not make noise or leave dirt. I clean everything I can. No dramas. No vices! Almost always out because of work and studies. I travel on weekends to explore NSW. Fast internet is IMPORTANT for me. If you don't have it, I will have a proper provider to install one.
Full-time working professional (corporate lawyer), who works in the city (can involve long-hours). Am looking for a place relatively close to the city, to share with a clean, tidy and considerate working professional. I'm not a partier, and tend to lead an active lifestyle. Due to work, weekends tend to be quiet for me, and I enjoy just using them to relax and unwind. Anything else, please ask.
American looking for a single bedroom accommodation in the city or a short journey away. On a working holiday visa but looking to stay long term in Sydney. Currently a waiter in Darling Harbour while looking for more permanent work. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to keeping my room clean and tidy. Like to chill and have a beer with roommates after work or just kick it with myself in my room. Die hard Texas Longhorns fan and Lakers fan.
Hi, I'm Simone. I have recently moved to Australia on a working holiday visa from the UK. I have just turned 32 and am quite young at heart though also grown up. I work in finance (accounts) and think I will be looking for work in this field. Ideally for this reason I would like to live in the City or by the beach with reasonable access to the city. (Key areas include Bondi Junction, Coogee, Bondi, North Bondi or Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Waterloo). I like going to the gym, love music (house, acoustic, r&b and hip hop in particular), like to shop (too much) and am a bit of a foodie. I like to go out for dinner, drinks and a bit of clubbing.... I also love live comedy, festivals and gigs etc. Oh, and of course sunbathing and chilling on the beach! I would consider myself a fairly easy-going person, with a bit of a playful (often sarcastic) sense of humour. I like a pretty clean house, but am not obsessively strict (OCD) about it. I am quite deep at times and think I am quite empathetic. I would like to live with similar people (ideally no more than 2 or 3 others), but most importantly friendly understanding people who will make the place feel like home, and who wish to become friends and hang out, host the odd dinner party / drinks etc....whilst also appreciating the need for personal space (as week days I will often be busy once working). I would love to live in a furnished apartment (preferably modern with a view) with a double room and ideally a decent amount of communal space. I'm open to a mixed flat, though would probably prefer to live with girls and if possible people who are a similar age (mid 20s to mid 30s). I would definitely sacrifice some of my criteria for the ideal flatmates though, so if I sound like your kind of person please get in touch :)
Hey future housemate/s We are a couple who have recently relocated from Tropical North Cairns for work, to be close to family and among all the cool events (like Vivid) that Sydney has to offer. We are excited to be in a vibrant, fast paced and beautiful city and meet new people. I (Melita) am a Graphic Designer, will be working full time on Bridge St in the city as of the 1st of May - so I'd like somewhere as close as possible. My partner (Dale) is an ex sparky and is now building a business with one other person who is located in Adelaide. Dale will be flying to and from Adelaide frequently while the business is being set up so I get quite a lot of quiet time for myself which I am quite fond of ;p. We are both pretty social people, enjoy listening to good music and having lots of laughs with good company. We are looking forward to settling in to a place we can call home. We are both very tidy and respectful of others. We enjoy a drink now and then but don't bring home parties. We appreciate our weekend days and like to make the most of them exploring new places and experiencing new things. We are looking for somewhere close to the Circular Quay/Rocks or in the heart of the Sydney so we are able to walk everywhere. M & D
