Hey there housemate hunters, James here. I'm excited to be searching for a room to share in a house/apartment in Sydney for the very first time. After studying and living in Melbourne post high school I've spent the last 10 years living in London and most recently New York but have decided to spend some time closer to family and enjoy the great city of Sydney. So far it's been pretty awesome. A country Vic native I used to work as a corporate lawyer but now work in operations for tech start-ups. I am very easy-going, tidy and love socialising with my housemates but also mutual respect of space and privacy is important at the same time. I don't drink or smoke but love to socialise and am really looking forward to making the most of my next 6-12 months (at least) in Sydney - I have the dream of learning to surf while back in Australia but knowing myself it will likely remain a dream. In the meantime I'm looking to pick the tennis racquet up again after quite a hiatus. Ideally I'd like to live in Surry Hills, Paddington, Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Redfern, Newtown, Alexandria or Bondi areas but it's a new rental canvass for me to explore so I'm open to anywhere relatively central with good public transport connections. Please drop me a line if you think we might be a housemate match. Looking for early November move-in. Cheers, James
We are looking for a quiet apartment that is in reach of the city centre. We aren't party people and like to come home from work and just relax, have a beer or glass of wine. We are very sociable people but do respect our own space as well as other peoples
Hi I'm Laura, I'm from the UK fancying a new adventure in Sydney! On a working holiday visa and I'm looking for accommodation asap, keen to meet friendly new people and see what Sydney has to offer. I have lived in shared accommodation for years in London and Newcastle in England. I am clean, considerate, tidy, respectful of other peoples space, animal lover and I make a great veggie lasagne. I'm an easy going person who loves fashion, cooking, reading, positive vibes and having a glass of wine (or three) and chatting with housemates over a good film or documentary! Get in touch if you would like to live with a fun easy going english gal!
I'm from Argentina, and I'm starting my working holiday year in Sydney, looking for a long term room since I would like to stay in town as much as possible. Back in March I fell inlove with the city and I decided to come back to enjoy it a little bit more and get to see what this beautiful country has to offer. I'm hard worker and love to make new friends, hang out, FOOD (:P), movies and travel when ever I have the opportunity to do so. I keep my place clean and appreciate company, but I also respect people's me-time as I sometimes need that as well.

Welcome to Moira! -15 min. walk (quite hilly but very good for you:)) from Central Station - bus stop around the corner - supermarkets and restaurant at a 10 min. walk (no hills this time!) - across the road from gorgeous Centennial Park Moira is an unsophisticated historical building superbly located in the heart of Sydney. As everyone else, the lady is ageing so expect bits and pieces of renovation in progress. Work is not major though and does not affect your living condition. All the units available at the moment have gone through recent renovation :) Moira is home to a mixed bunch from all over the world and consists of studios mainly fully self-contained. Some of the units are a little smaller and use a shared bathroom which gets weekly cleaned by a cleaning team! Your rent includes all bills and it is paid weekly, it also includes little maintenance service when needed. Price starts from $290 and varies depending on the size of the unit, length of your stay and if you are renting alone or with a friend/partner. Features: - Television in your room - Unlimited WiFi - Fully furnished w. kitchenette and bedding - Weekly cleaning service - Balcony (depending on availability) - Washing machine (free of charge) - Outdoor area with BBQ Moira is located on Flinders St and we'd be more than happy to welcome you, even just for a quick look around! Thanks for having taken the time to read this, take care :)
A Canadian girl who is looking to move to Sydney in early November :) love to find someone one or people to live with in or close to the city. I’m friendly and I like to go out and socialize but also can stay in and chill. I’m organized, clean and 1000% reliable. I love to play volleyball and I just graduated uni! Xo
Im born and raised in Sydney and I work as a freelance film maker. Have a part time job too. I’m quiet at times but can be social and friendly. Always clean and tidy. Just looking for a nice place to call home :)
Hey all 👋🏾 I’m from Scotland and I have been working and living in Sydney for around a year and a half! I’m looking to live with some like minded chilled out folk. Can share with one other female. No weird bunk bed type situations. I’ve lived in shared accommodation throughout my stay in Sydney. So know the drill of privacy, being respectful, rent and bills on time, clean and tidy & not be an overall passive aggressive hermit type individual. Love the beach, wine, cheese.. binge watching series. Pretty basic AF. I’m not a party animal, so not looking for a party house. Just something I can call home for now, after work chills, trips to the pub & general catch-ups. In Scotland I work in the social care sector. Disability/substance abuse/mental health. It’s my passion and I love it. However in Sydney I’ve worked in retail and hospatality. - which I’m working in now. If you any any questions please feel free to ask. I’m pretty flexible with times and days I can come to view. Zahrah. XO

Experience living in an amazing flatshare with people from different cultures in the middle of the city. Enjoy the transport proximity to go easily wherever you plan. You'll be on one of the busiest and bubbliest street in Sydney. The building also offers an outdoor swimming pool. If you are genuinely clean, tidy, respectful and you are looking for a place to live in Sydney, come and have a look !
Hi! I'm Stella from the Philippines, and I'm moving to Sydney for my masters in Hotel Management! I'm an ambivert, a gymrat (#gymislyf), a gamer, health conscious, quite funny, and i'm very open-minded in everything because I've traveled a lot. I'm quite business-minded; I'm an entrepreneur in my country, and I've had advanced courses in Finance and Accounting. If you like nerd talk like talking about the economy, you have me! I don't smoke or do drugs or any of the funky things. I'm honestly quite messy (we all are c'mon :D) but I always keep it to my room. I respect personal space, and i'm very easy to get along with! LOTS OF LOVE, MESSAGE ME YOUR ROOMS OR IF YOU WANNA TEAM UP
Clean, tidy, OCD and I'm down for cooking for dinner together at least once a week. I'm from Singapore, but I've been in Perth for the past 2.5 years. Looking forward to moving to Sydney for a new start, and I'm fine with just being housemates, or even friends. 21/10 Update: I'm looking for a shareroom, for a temporary stay of a few weeks while I figure way around Sydney. Prefer to stay close to CBD so that I can save on transport.
