Hello we are a young French couple wich has just arrived in Sydney! We would like found an apartment to begin a new life here, connecting with people and most particularly have a perfect English! We are quiet, clean and always ok for trying or discovering a place or something to do. Please if you have an opportunity contact us!! :)
Friendly young professional who is relocating to Sydney for a work opportunity. Ideally looking for a long term arrangement with a private room as close to the Sydney CBD as possible. I will be putting in some long hours so the less travel time the better. For an early 20s guy I am fairly domesticated! So I always clean up after myself. I live an active lifestyle and in the warmer months I become an avid surfer.
Hey! I’m Matt, a 20 year old student moving to Sydney from Perth in February next year. I’ll be studying the JD at USyd, so am hoping to find a place to call home near uni. I’m an open and friendly person, who loves hanging out, whether enjoying the night in with roommates/ friends or a night out. I’m hoping to find active roommates who like to spend time together to chat, cook, play games, watch movies or anything :) I love travelling, so will definitely be doing lots of day trips to explore around Sydney. I’m also a clean and organised person, so you won’t need to worry about finding my clothes all around the house or dishes on the couch ;) Apartment/house wise, I’m after a private room (furnished or non furnished works), ideally within 15 min from USyd. If anyone is interested in getting together to make our own apartment, hit me up too :P Hope to hear from you :)
I'm a happy, clean, sociable and active person. I recently came back from a 3.5 months overseas trip and eiher look to move into an existing home or start a new share house. I love good food, yoga, animals, wine and tea and work normal hours in the CBD.
The room is located in a cozy terrace house in the Darlington/Chippendale area and is available from January next year for at least 6 months (Possibly longer). The house is located in a very convenient inner city location footsteps from USyd, close to Newtown, Glebe, Redfern and Surryhills and a very short walk to Redfern Station. The room is furnished with a bed, desk and book shelf. There is a small built in wardrobe and a small chest of drawers. The room is compact and backs onto the backyard and so is therefore NOT fronting noisy Cleveland St. Electricity, gas, water and internet are all included in the price. Two bathrooms are shared. 1 bathroom is private.
This is a two bedroom apartment, fully furnished and you'll have the entire room to yourself. The room is very spacious and accommodates up to two people. It is located brilliantly - 5-min walk to Redfern station, 10-min walk to Broadway (Coles, Hoyts Cinema, H&M, Sephora), Central Park (Woolies), Spice Alley, UTS and University of Notre Dame and a 15-min walk to University of Sydney and Newtown.
Dear Sir or Madam, Nice to meet you. My name is Xiao Sheng. I am from China and will study in the University of Sydney in the next two years, majoring in the Master of Professional Accounting. I am quiet, kind, polite and have rich experience in living abroad. In 2014, I stayed in Madrid, Spain for 4 months as an exchange student and got along very well with the local host family. Besides, I have booked rooms on Airbnb for 5 times and have received pretty good comments from hosts in France, Belgium, Japan and so on. I believe that I can be a well behaved tenant or flatmate. I don't have bad habits like excessive drinking or smoking. I personally love reading and will spend most of time on my school work. Sometimes I like playing guitar, but I would obey the rules if you think it is noisy. I can cook some simple Chinese foods and am willing to share it if you like. I will keep my room tidy and clean. Thank you for reading this brief introduction! Hope that we can have good time in Sydney. Best regards, Xiao Sheng 2016/12/06
Hello future housemates, female in my late twenties post-student, easy going, tidy and caring human being. My routine is usually weekdays at Uni and during evenings always up for a chat to relax and get ready for the next day. I like to spend my weekends away from the weekly routine, random but nothing crazy. I have been living in shared houses for a while so I am absolutely aware of the meaning "clean up after yourself ". I am looking for "The right place" somewhere I can call Home, surrounded by nice and fun ppl. I am available to move mid December and willing to commit for long term. Let me know if you are interested!
I want find a share house with terrace and enjoy chilling outside at home, specially with the summer coming. I am easy going person and hope to find friendly flatemate whith who I can have a drink after work. But also in clean and quiet house with respectful people.
Hi! I've just returned from doing my 2 years in the UK, followed by a short stint working in the UAE, and am now making the move from Brisbane to Sydney to complete a masters at USyd. Looking to move anytime between the end of November and the end of February (next year). I'm looking for an affordable place, with good public transport links. More importantly, I'm looking for some friendly housemates - people who are keen to hang out socially every now and then, not just a house where we're constantly ghosting each other 😁. I'm an easygoing, friendly, clean, and straightforward housemate. I love cooking, eating, binge watching TV (the same as pretty much everyone else), live music, and pub quizzes!
I am a Mechanical engineering student born and raised in Bulgaria, but studied 2 years in Denmark. I have been racing with motorcycles for 8 years and have been doing and coaching Crossfit for 1.5 years. Sport takes a big part of my life, so whereever I am, whatever I am doing, I try to keep active and live a healthy lifestyle. I very much enjoy cooking and learning the cousine of different countries.
Hey there! :) I am Ümit, an ex national team water polo player, event director and an industrial engineer. ( I know It sounds much but it is true :D ) I am moving to Sydney in the middle of December... I am looking for open-minded, fun, social, tidy and collective people to live with. Also the place where we stay must be clean, tidy and central. I am a person who likes to socialize and have fun with others, especially partying and chatting ;) Finally,if u think i am okay for criteria, do not hesitate to contact me :) Kind regards...
Hi, my name is Malthe, and I am an international student from Denmark, I'm going to attend The University of Sydney during semester 1, 2017. I really look forward to my stay and I hope to find me a nice place to call my home for the semester. I'm an outgoing person and I have my feet securely planted on the ground, to put it short I'm easy-going and flexible when it comes to how much contact to have with flatmates. I like being social, cooking together or the like, but I do respect a closed door, as I myself from time to time need some alone time. I'm orderly and neat, having lived with flatmates away from home for three years I'm used to taking care of a household, though I'm by far not a prune. I like going out for drinks once in a while but I respect it if my flatmates need a quiet evening. All in all, I'm the kind of person who can pretty much blend into any household, though I would appreciate living in a quiet and somewhat clean household where people are open to being social and maybe going out for drinks once in a while. I study full-time at the University of Aarhus. I study Digital Design (third year of the BA-course) and I'm really interested in the way so-called digital artifacts shape our reality, and how designers should be concerned with finding a sweet-spot between aesthetic quality and pragmatic usability, but I figure we'll talk a lot more about that once we meet in real life ;)
Gorgeous terrace with a nice kitchen, bathroom and entertainment areas - a quick walk to both King Street in Newtown and Redfern Station. Practically over the road from the Carriageworks, so you can get your fancy Saturday veggies at the markets! Rent is low for the area, but will only stay at this rate if we sign on to a 13 month lease from February, otherwise it goes up $20 (divided by 3). Super close to Sydney Uni (and UTS/the city in general, depending upon what you consider "close" - you can literally see Sydney uni from our doorstep), but I'm not looking for full-time undergrads. Happy to meet with mature-age students with steady jobs and PhD candidates though.
I'm a fun, energetic and happy person. I enjoy being active, catching up with friends and being outdoors. I have also been known to enjoy a drink or two. I have lived in Sydney for a number of years and grown to call this city home. Work full time in the CBD, recently finished university and I am currently working on being admitted as a lawyer in the new year.
I'm a self employed Gardener/Handyman and usually work 7 days a week so I'm not home alot hence I want a flatmate/s to keep rent costs down. Down to earth. low maintenance. respectful of peoples privacy and belongings, I adapt easily and I'm pretty handy to have around the house and I'm always happy to help out.
Hi , I'm 27 years old and a recent Electrical Engineering graduate from Berlin, Germany. I moved to Sydney work and live here. I am an easy going, communicative guy who likes meeting new people or making new experiences, but I also need some alone time every now and then. As a roommate, I am very clean, organized, quiet, and respect my flatmate's space and privacy. I am looking for an apartment for between January - March. Maybe even longer. Regards Jérôme
I'm looking for a room in a house/flat with clean, social and considerate housemates. I'm an easy-going, social and considerate individual who works in the Financial Services industry. I like traveling, philosophy, arts, films, current affairs, etc. I enjoy good food and wine, going out for dinners, and brunches with friends. Please get in touch if you have a room in my preferred areas or would like to team up to rent a house.
Hi, I'm looking for a single room to rent for at least 2 months staying. I'm a 25-year-old male who studying in CBD and working part-time near the CBD. I'm a Hongkonger by passport but surely a citizen of the world in outlook, I grew up within mixed background but I mostly speak Cantonese with my family. I've so many interests but especially love doing movies, manga, pool, badminton, Lol. Passionate about global politics and technology, so I don't mind to talk about that if you're keen. I'm a very tidy and clean guy, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any room available not too far from the CBD and keen to know more about me. ; )
I am 26 yo, male, Indonesian and I enjoy music, photography and sports during my leisure time. I am planning to move in to Sydney by February for my postgraduate study in the University of Sydney . So i am looking for a property around the campus. Kindly do let me know if you have an available property around. Many thanks you in advance!
Hey, I have just arrived in Australia for the first time from the UK to work and explore. I am currently looking for a job in Sydney but previously I have worked in the not for profit sector in London. I am a very sociable person who enjoys eating and drinking (particularly beer and red wide!) with friends, running and adventures. I'm very easy going, clean and I'm not too bad at cooking either. I am looking for flat mates who have similar interests and might be able to show me some of the sights of Sydney.
Hello future flatmates! I'm a 24 year old actor who also works in retail and as a barista so I'm technically trained to perform for you whilst making excellent coffee. I'm very clean and want my home to be a sanctuary to come home to. I love to socialise with shared meals but also zone out in a quiet space if I need to. Not looking for a party house but do enjoy group dinners and beers. Being in the arts, I don't work the usual 9-5 and don't mind living with people who do, but would prefer to live with people who understand a freelance lifestyle. Saying that, so long as you are open minded, up for conversation and share a communal respect for each other, that's cool too! I've lived in Sydney my whole life and the city has definitely changed, but I think there's still plenty of Gold beneath the lock out laws and nanny state rules. I practise yoga regularly (more for my mental health than anything!) and love a good dance sesh so am a pretty active person. The ocean and I share a special fling over summer and I'm partial to bush walks and camping. Hopefully we can get along and make a house a home! :)
We are looking to move into our new home in mid to late February 2017. David is an accountant who will start working in the cbd in March 2017. Tegan is in her final year of law at university and works part time in a law firm in the city. We are both from Newcastle originally and are moving to Sydney for David's work. Tegan currently lives in Sydney in the inner west. We work late during the week so will largely keep to ourselves then, but are up for socialising on the weekend. Even on a weekend, we are still relatively quiet and low key. Our ideal housemates will also be young professionals who won't want to throw regular crazy parties and will generally be a good housemate (the basics, paying bills on time, cleaning after yourself), as we will be. We are interested in either the inner west or lower North shore close to a train station (less than 10 minute walk) and half an hour trip in total to the cbd to make those late work nights easy.
I'm 22yrs old, supposedly will be back at uni next year, maybe not, who knows. I'm pretty happy just working at the moment so i'm not rushing back to uni just yet. I'm currently on the lease of a house near Crows Nest and I want to move closer to the city, but this means I know all the do's and dont's of housesharing - what you guys expect of subtenants and what a subtenant should expect of a tenant. I'm not super into going out but don't at all mind living with those who do. You can usually find me at work, attempting to alter/make my own clothes (with varying degrees of success), or roller skating around for some promo job (can offer roller skating lessons). I've become good friends with my housemates currently so I'm looking for a house where I can have a laugh with new friends and occassionally invite old ones around 🙂
Hi! My name is Steven, I am a dynamic and house-trained French teacher. I'm 23 yo, responsible, respectful and social (always up for a drink or a meal, I'd love my housemates to become friends!). I am ready to visit the room ASAP if you feel like my profil fits with your expectactions. Last thing, a contract till mid-April 2017 would be perfect. Thanks! Steven
Hey we are a fun couple who always like to have a bit of a laugh. We are both very chilled and relaxed people, enjoy a few beers and wines in the sun on the weekend, and like to eat out as well as in! We are both active sorts, gym, walking, running. He is a very hard working Carpenter, and has worked in this industry in Australia for the last year. She is in the process of relocating to Sydney and has worked as an ECE Teacher for the last twelve years. We are looking for a room for the both of us that we will always keep clean and tidy. With high respect for others that may live there! We are looking for long term options!! A FURNISHED ROOM would be a bonus, and also on site, or close by PARKING that does not come at too much of an extra cost, no meters to pay etc. He is Irish, and She is from New Zealand!! Both have great worldly knowledge and have travelled far and wide! We both love watching sports, especially rugby and football! We are just hands down awesome flatmates to have so i know we would fit in anywhere!!
I am an incoming student at the University of Sydney for a Master's degree and looking for a place to stay in temporarily or can be permanently. I am a very flexible and fun to be with. I love weekend parties and traveling.
I'm a 19 year old Australian student studying commerce at usyd, I currently live near Cronulla, but looking to move closer to the city as I will start full time work in accounting and finance in the city in February, and the commute is getting a little painful. I'm a relatively quiet, very chilled out, but sociable guy, especially after you get to know me. I like to have a few drinks and go out on weekends, but also I enjoy just chilling at home and watching Netflix and stuff, but I will also spend a fair bit of time studying, due to my full time work and study load.. I like going to the beach, going for the occasional run and being outdoors. I'm also a neat and clean guy! I'm going overseas in January for the month so putting this out in advance in the hope of perhaps having something lined up for when I get back! Feel free to message me!
I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master's program at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room close to a train station.
Hello! I'm a 23yr old professional relocating to Sydney from Melbourne for work. I currently work full time as a management consultant, but I'll be working in start ups and renewable energy in Sydney. I love to travel and eat. I was living in Sweden last year for work, and I've been working and travelling this year. I'm really easy going, house trained and definitely won't be throwing any crazy house parties. Might have some people over once in a while but mostly dinner and a few drinks. Look forward to hearing from you. Justin
I'm 22, Canadian, moving to Sydney in a couple months to study education at USYD (exact move date is fairly flexible). Since I don't know anyone in Australia, I'm looking to find a place that will feel like home and not just a place to stay! I love being outside, and hope to live with people that I can develop close friendships with! I am clean and respectful of the space and the people I live with, and I also love social gatherings and sharing drinks with friends. I will be spending most of my time during the week studying but enjoy going out on the weekends, going to the beach, etc! Let me know if I sound like a good fit or if you have any questions :)
Hi! It's Khalid here, a Sudanese guy who lived and studied engineering back in Malaysia for the past 6 years! Now i'm in Sydney with Skilled Visa working part time in hospitality and process working in factories sometimes. Would love to find a place to call home and settle down. Oh and I'm also doing some english studies and tests as a requirement to the Australian Engineers board assessment. Thank you
Friendly, easy going girl from England on a working holiday visa, currently looking for full time work in Sydney (but have sufficient funds to support myself in the meantime)! Have been in hostels since I arrived 3 months ago so looking for somewhere clean and calm to call 'home'. I enjoy nights in with a takeaway or nights out with some wine and good music! Love to be outdoors in the sunshine and am very independent, I also like cooking and cleaning!
