I am 32 and work full time as an events manager in Moore park (office hours plus event times) I'm pretty chilled, clean and considerate. I like to cook and enjoy the odd glass of wine. Not looking for a party house. Can be flexible on the move in date for the right... Ideally long term but I am happy for short term if the room comes with a bed. Also I do have a car - so unless its walking distance to work would be handy to know if you have street parking available.
*Update* We have lowered the room price but bills are no longer included, bills including internet will be split between all housemates. Room is $300 for single or $315 for couples Also, we don't get the keys until Thursday (4th of May) so i will be showing people the place then, i can be pretty flexible with times. Also happy to show people Fri night/ over the weekend next week if Thursday doesn't work. - 5 min walk from Sydney Uni - 5 min walk from redfern station - 30 second walk from town bike cafe & the Eveleigh pub - Fully furnished house - Own room with walk in robes, its small but its big enough for a double bed - BBQ and outdoor area - Golden Retriever puppy 🎉
I have been living in Australia for 10 years but I am from Venezuela. I speak Spanish :). I am looking to move with someone as I have been living alone for too long plus I am starting a new job on the north side. So originally a place over the north side of Sydney will be good but I don't mind to share a flat around Bondi junction where I live now. My preference is to find an apartment without carpet as I am a little allergic. I am allergic to animals also unfortunately.Even when I think they are lovely. I am an honest responsible and respectful hard working person who likes to have walks around the park or the beach, meet friends for coffee or a meal outside, like Pilates and also to relax over a glass of wine sometimes after work but I do not like to lose control :). I love cooking. Thus, I enjoy cooking and watching My Kitchen rules and Master chef programs. Dancing makes me happy so It is something that I look forward to do more in the future as well as playing tennis :) but not really a priority right now. As I would like to finish my PM Diploma so I think I will be a little nerdy the rest of the year just to get.it out of the way. But I like the outdoors and I like to socialise. As I mentioned before. I live on my own at the moment so I have pretty much everything. If you think I can fit something in your apartment that would be great. Basically, a red 2 sit sofa, TV and medium fridge. My ideal flatmate is someone who is also professional, honest, reliable, reasonably clean and tidy, respectful, non-smoker person who likes to socialise but also respects people privacy :). And of course, it has to be someone to get along well :)
Hello!!! We're a fun, friendly English couple and are looking for a flat share with like minded people. We like food, drinks, movies, fitness (all the normal stuff). Working in Sydney, normal hours. We're easy going and really just want a nice vibe to our home. Clean, tidy, respectful all the rest of it. We're great, promise ;)
Australian, Firefighter, friendly, considerate and fan of good times. I like a balanced yet varied lifestyle; I enjoy travelling, sports and activities, watching movies, hanging out with friends and chilling. . Looking for a cool share house to join.
I'm an Italian PhD student (neuroscience) staying in Sydney for an exchange, and I'll be staying for 6 months from the end of April to the end of October, 2017. I'm a very calm person and I enjoy people company but I also like to have some privacy moments after a day of work. I'm a smoker but I don't mind being in a no-smoke house. Maybe can be the final drive to make me stop! :) I'm a rather easy person and I usually adjust to any situation.
Full-time working professional (corporate lawyer), who works in the city (can involve long-hours). Am looking for a place relatively close to the city, to share with a clean, tidy and considerate working professional. I'm not a partier, and tend to lead an active lifestyle. Due to work, weekends tend to be quiet for me, and I enjoy just using them to relax and unwind. Anything else, please ask.
Hey guys, I am Fergus, a 27yr old chef from Newcastle NSW. I have spent most of the last 5 years travelling (San Francisco, tropical paradise, taiwan and more). I work at an Italian restaurant and when I'm not working I like to chill with some Netflix, do a little cooking, and work out and practice yoga. I don't smoke, don't drink very much and I'm clean and tidy and happy to pull my weight and keep a house clean.
Hi there! I'm a 29 year old from Victoria looking for a room somewhere in close proximity to Surry Hills as my old share house is disbanding. I work in marketing full time for a beer company in the CBD and am looking for a bedroom in a friendly and social share house that I can call home. I'm pretty easy going, friendly, and I'm a big fan of cleaning up after myself. During the week I like to cook and enjoy an occasional beer, glass of wine or whisky of an evening with housemates or friends when I'm not out and about or working late. I also play social netball of a Monday night (I'm always looking for fill-ins if there are any takers?) I typically spend the weekends hanging out with my kiwi boyfriend Mike and friends in Surry Hills, heading to live music, reading on the beach in Summer, watching the footy in Winter (AFL: I haven't yet gotten my head around that crazy rugby business but am happy to be converted!), enjoying brunch and seeking out new bars. I also love travelling and experiencing new things, and even speak a bit of French. I can be a bit of a night owl at times and enjoy heading to the pub for a beer, but I'm no party animal and am always considerate and quiet if I am up late. I've lived in sharehouses for 10 years and enjoy feeling like you're part of a 'family', as long as everyone's respectful of each other. Ideally I'd love to find a warm and inviting home where we can enjoy an occasional beer of an evening together and feel comfortable inviting friends to visit from time to time. I'm originally from country Victoria, so a home on a quiet street with a nice outdoor area would make me feel at home. But more important would be access to public transport into the city for work and a space to park my poor, neglected car (street parking is perfectly ok). I love animals but sadly don't have any pets, don't smoke and have no allergies or dietary requirements. The lease on my current house sadly ends on the 14th of May, though I can stay with friends for a while if I have to wait for the right place.
Easy-going, open minded, creative, quiet girl who likes to draw, listen to music, cook or go out for veggie meals / snacks / desert. I have about 2 years of experience living in share houses so I understand the responsibilities and such.
Hi, my name is Angi. I am from Austria and 30y old. I'm in medical research and I will start working for Sydney Uni/ Centenary Institute 1st of May. I am chilled, love to cook and hang out together and share a beer or a whiskey in the evening, but I also respect privatcy and having time for myself to read. As I am new in Sydney, I am looking for a shared house or flat, which gives me the opportunity to meet new people, telling me their favorit things to do and places to be in Sydney. One of my passions is my work - I love doing research. My other great passsion is the ocean - I love scuba diving, beeing on a boat out on the open sea and discover another world below the surface. Cheers, Angi
Hi there! I'm a Belgian 23-year old and have been in Sydney for almost 3 months. I have a passion for travel, experiencing new things and stepping out of my comfort zone. I'm currently working full-time with an awesome travel agency in the marketing department. I'm moving out of my current apartment at the end of May so I'm looking for a new place. I'm a very social, friendly and caring person. I like to party and have a good time but I also don't mind a quiet night in and watch a movie or Netflix. I'm a neat freak and like to have my life (and house) organized. I also like to keep a healthy lifestyle, but can't help the occasional pizza splurge in the weekends. ;) shoot me a message/text if you're looking for a fun and clean roommate starting June 1st! Can't wait to hear from you! Cheers

The house is big, there's a lot of bamboo in the backyard, there is a backyard. It's ridiculously close to Sydney University, Newtown, Glebe, and has an amazing location once you work it out. The room is small, furnished, and could be described as 'cosy' by a real estate agent. Rent is $160p/w, bond is $600, and bills are split evenly. It's $12 a month for internet, and the electricity and gas come in every three months. Yes it's a private room, no, this is not a boarding house. Yes, that's the price. Looking for a girl, but would accept two girls sharing the room. It's weird, but things like that have happened before. Looking for that very rare human being that has a bit of balance between extremes. Not a complete neat freak who will have a panic attack if a coffee cup is left out, yet someone who actually understands they have to clean up after themselves. There's five people in the house who all cook at various times, so it's important to keep the kitchen clean. There's a reasonable amount of drinking that goes on in the backyard, so if you're teetotaller, this place is not for you. If you're a smash pingers every night 420 ayyy lamaoo, this place is not for you. So if you like a drink and can keep yourself under control, that'd be a bit better. We do smoke in the backyard, so if that's going to be a problem...well. Not looking for extreme political types of either variety. No foaming at the mouth SJWs screaming about the patriarchy, no hardcore right wing death beasts. We're all meat eaters in the house, so looking for compatible people with that. If you're interested in working out yet still enjoy a drink, read books, have a good taste in music and don't mind a bit of discussion with a bit more depth than "Ermergerd, tv show!" that would be a pretty big plus. Backpackers and travellers are okay, as long as you let me know how long you plan on staying for. The house is ridiculously well located to just about everything. Newtown is a five minute walk, Glebe about ten, shopping and transport are ridiculously close, and it's amazing for that. Decent sense of humour, robust personality, interests in working out, sci-fi, as well as good music, once again perferred. House is meat eating and heterosexual friendly. Anything else, send me a message and I'll let you know.
