I’m from Chile, and I’m going to study Marine Science at the University of Sydney (Masters degree). I love climbing and doing outdoors activities. I care a lot about the environment, so I try to have a sustainable lifestyle. On my free time, and if I’m not climbing, I like to watch Netflix or have a beer with friends.
Hi ! I'm Agathe, a 19yo French exchange student (I will be attending the University of Sydney). I study Political Science at McGill University, Canada. I'm looking for a room in an apartment/house to stay from Feb to July 1st. I am a very easy-going, chill person, always happy to meet new people, go out, explore the city and its surroundings... I speak French and English. I am used to live with roommates and I had only great experiences so far.
I will be commencing my masters at the University of Sydney in Februaruy. I am looking for optimistic, high-spirited and enthusiastic flatmates, whom i hope to become great friends with and have a great time at this city! I am always empathetic and helpful to my friends( it comes from years of being in a boarding school!)
I’m moving to Sydney from Perth for a year for work and looking for somewhere to stay that’s relatively close to the city and with easy going and fun people. Always happy to be social and enjoy time on my own as well. I work in Banking as a risk analyst and in my spare time I love dancing and playing netball.
Before finishing my studies, i spend a semester abroad in the breathtaking City of Sydney. I've been around the world a lot, but normally I live very down to earth in Northwest Germany as a decent student :D So i'm looking for a cozy shared flat (single room) near the university or beach with nice flat mates to make the best out of my student expierence in Australia. When I am exploring new places I like to balance the touristy must-sees with exploring local neighborhoods and foods, and I always welcome suggestions from locals.
I'm one of those people who is equal parts like to keep to myself and yeah I'd like to spend time with my housemates. I like to play games and exercise and I like keeping my living spaces clean and tidy. My main priority is finding a place with a room big enough for a double bed and a desk and an NBN internet connection.
Originally from a little country town, I love cooking, baking and working out! I'm very clean and tidy, quiet but looking to meet new people in a friendly home. I'm currently studying physiology and working in the city as a manager's assistant/fit model.
Relaxed, respectful and well travelled guy (Sydney born and raised but have lived and worked interstate and overseas). I have recently returned to fulltime study (Doctor of Medicine at USYD) so looking to live somewhere closer to campus. Much of my time these days is taken up by study, but I enjoy cooking for friends when I have time and going out every now and then. Love to get out of the city for camping/hiking trips. I have a pretty wide range of nerdy interests - language (my previous degree was in Chinese), history, science/medicine, politics, and would be great to have flatmates that enjoy a good chat every now and then (perhaps over dinner/drinks).
Hello, I'm Lin, a 28 year old Singaporean Female. I'm looking to explore Australia on a working holiday visa as a Chef. I work odd hours due to the shifts, so I will not be home much. I enjoy spending my free time exploring the city, be it a hike or a delicious meal out at a restaurant. I enjoy cooking for myself & others, as well as the occasional drink. I consider myself rather easy-going, a housemate that is non-intrusive yet sociable.
Hi I'm lex I'm a young professional looking to live with similar people. Definitely over the going out every night phase, but still try and stay relevant and go out every so often. I'm closely approaching the 23rd year of my life and am exhausted from living with people who care too much about things that are just simply out of their control!! so, looking to team up with people who enjoy each others company but respects space, if issues arise we can have an adult conversation about it and not screenshot texts to friends for validation, keen for a drink or a hike or a swim, pay bills on time, and share music playlists. I'm a very empathetic and supportive person, so if we get along well consider me your #1 fan in life and we can get. this. bread. Anyways, if I sound like a good fit feel free to message me!
Hi! My name is Lucy and I work in IT. I enjoy going to F45 / the gym, playing video games and boardgames, reading, watching movies (especially horror and action) and drinking the occasional Guinness. If you're geeky / nerdy then we will get on well. I am down to earth, clean / respectful, LGBT friendly, animal friendly and enjoy quiet nights in with a glass of wine / bottle of beer, some Netflix and video games. Not a big party / clubbing person either. I currently live at home with my parents in Mosman, but I am looking to move out next year. I am considering getting a cat or a dog when I move, but if this causes an issue, I can wait until I live alone. I am a big animal lover and I currently own a dog which would stay with my parents, so it would be great to meet a fellow animal lover. I am easygoing and enjoy a laugh, and if we become friends while rooming together, then that is an ultra plus too! Always up for making friends, especially new video game / movie buddies. I'm looking mainly to have my own studio / granny flat, or to share with one other person, but if I meet the right people I am happy to extend this to a larger group. :)
I am a Canadian student who will be studying dentistry at USyd this January. It is a very hectic program so I will be busy studying most of the time. I'm looking for someone who is friendly, organized, clean, and quiet. Huge emphasis on cleanliness and cleaning after yourself. I also want someone who is on-time with paying rent and bills. I am a quiet person and do not want to live with someone who will host parties in our apartment. Small get togethers are good, but nothing loud or crowded. I also prefer someone who will not come home late at night or be loud late at night. I am Muslim so would prefer someone who will respect my culture and religion. I am very open minded and would love to get to know your culture and identity as well. I am a social person, but I'm flexible with both introverts and extroverts alike. I do not have any pets, and I am open to living with 1 cat or bird or bunny, but prefer not to live with any dogs. I also do not smoke or drink, and would prefer someone who does not smoke either, or do any drugs. Would prefer someone who does not excessively drink. I have been looking for 2 bedroom apartments, and I plan on signing a lease when I am in Sydney around January 17. I would prefer if you are also there around that time to sign the lease and move in. I'm looking for places that are about $600-700 rent per week, so $300-350 per person per week (more or less). Feel free to message me if you're interested, I would love to get to know you! I will be starting a graduate program on February 4 for a construction company in a Health, Safety & Environment role. I will be moving over to Sydney from Perth for this new job and would ideally like to move in a few days before the start date so I can settle in and get to know my surroundings. I like to regularly go to the gym to stay fit, go and see music acts especially at festivals, and I enjoy binge watching tv shows and playing video games.
I am a teacher and returning to Australia from living overseas for the past 5 years. I enjoy the outdoors and am a non-smoker. Want to get to know people in Sydney and explore the city. Looking to live with working professionals in a relaxed setting.
Hi! My names' Sam, originally from the UK, I'm 29 and I've lived in Australia for the last 3 years. I'm a very chilled, friendly, open-minded person with the traditional English wit (aka sarcasm). I love to cook and adore a good glass of red. I'm not a super fit person but do force myself to get to the gym at least twice a week, enjoy reading a good book, watching a films, exploring Sydney and relaxing/catching up with friends. I work full time in the city but do work from home 1 day a week. As you can see from my profile pic, I also have an adorable miniature dachshund named Tilly. She's very friendly, housetrained and loves a good cuddle. Fine with other dogs big or small (just takes a few minutes to get to know them but then she's very happy to be besties!). I'm looking for a decent sized room in a house share for me and Tilly. Flexible on location but ideally near ish the CBD or not too far. Happy to share a bathroom etc, would like a nice place with mod cons and ideally an outside area for Tilly. I work from home one day a week and plan to send her to doggy day care 1 or 2 days a week but she is very happy on her own just chilling. Would be awesome to find a place with another dog for her to play with but not essential. Flexible on rent but ideally somewhere around the $350 mark (happy to look at higher for the perfect place) and also flex on move in date but ideally around the weekend of the 12th Jan. I also have furniture but don't need to bring it with me. I would love to find a place that's a real home, and housemates that are friendly and happy to chill out with each other vs just a room in a house to sleep in. (I've put 6 month stay just to tick a box but ideally looking for a long term home). Any questions please let me know! Sam & Tilly x
Hello! I’m looking to move out of my current place early January Preferably with 3 max. I’ve done my rounds of share houses and living with partners and family etc and I really want a place to call “my home” I’m a pretty chilled out person, like to be out and about in my spare time, pretty active too and love beach hangs. Always up for drinks/dinner/Disney hangs with the housemates and a dance or all of the above on the weekend. During the week you’d probably find me listening to music, cooking up my meals or watching a Netflix series. I’m a fairly clean person, always have the main communal areas clean and tidy and would hope the same from my potential housemate. Feel free to message if you have any questions 😊
Hi there future flatmates! I´m Alvaro, an Spanish engineer just landed in Sydney. I´m looking for a room in a nice and rather central flat sharing with other young professionals to ideally share my passion for sport, spontaneous conversations, travelling, or just a drink in the evenning. I´ve been flat-sharing for the last 5 years in Nantes(France) and Reading (UK), so I know that sharing a flat can be an awesome experience. Just note, my girlfriend will be visiting me in January and she would be staying during the whole month. Hope this is not a game changer!
