This excellent property is situated in prime location within the parliamentary triangle. Close to all amenities and Manuka village. One minute walk to bus stop, less than 4 km to Civic (Canberra city centre) and Australian National University.
Living in Canberra working full time in Manuka I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
Moving from Melbourne for a grad role in the APS. I'm a clean and considerate person and enjoy socialising and making new friends - I would love to have roommate/s who are keen to chill, chat, cook and have a cheeky wine together. I'm flexible regarding the length of the lease - anywhere up to12 months. Ideally would love to live in walking distance from work.
Ayden and I are both active individuals who enjoy our downtime when at home. We're both road cyclists and train 15-20 hours per week & are often away competing. Other than cycling, I'm doing my Masters in Architecture at the University of Canberra. Ayden is super easy going and can get along with just about anyone. He spends a lot of the year traveling with races. Looking for a clean & tidy place where we can feel at home.
Coming across to Canberra to join the public service after studying in Sydney. I've lived in share houses in Sydney and in Munich, Germany where I did an internship so I'm well house-trained and also love meeting new flatmates. I'm independent but also enjoy a fun, friendly and relaxed household where we can occasionally go out for meals/movie/netflix binge. I am also more than happy to leave people to their own space as well - highly adaptable.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
I'm a 27 year old professional who works full time, whilst studying law part-time by distance. In my limited spare time I like to sit back with a good movie, game; but am also keen on a cheeky wine and a chat from time to time.
I am incredibly easy going and have a great sense of humour. I work long hours in a conflict-filled job and spend my time writing/creating on my weekends, as well as returning to Sydney to see friends and continue to pretend my life has not been uprooted after being sent to Canberra for work. I do want to establish myself in Canberra though and it would be good to live with others. I move between making an effort to make home-cooked meals and living on take away. I tidy up after myself and don't mind if people leave their dishes in the sink until a more convenient time (as long as convenient isn't four weeks' later - I've had that experience before and don't need to check it off my bucket list). I tend to keep to myself when I'm writing so there's a chance when you could go a few days without seeing me. I also travel for work so I'm looking for a base and interesting people to connect with, rather than a clinical room by myself or not connecting with others. Always open to questions so don't hesitate to ask if you'd like to know more. May be able to shift my move in date back as well but timeframes are somewhat narrow.
Young professional just returned to Australia from Japan and moving to Canberra to start a new job! I'm originally a Queenslander, from Townsville but I'm leaving all that behind for beautiful Canberra! I'm easy going, fun to be around, sociable, and flexible. My partying days are a bit behind me but I love to chat and a sneaky beverage wouldn't be terrible. I'm very clean and will be pretty busy with the new job, but I'd love to make friends and get out and meet new people. I'm a decent cook and I'm happy to muck in and share meals. I enjoy yoga, netflix, gaming, reading, and I'm very into music. I love heavy metal and play both the violin and the shamisen but I promise I won't play them in the house.
*in Europe atm might be a little delayed in responding!* Hey guys! I’m looking for a room to rent with a great housemate or bunch of housemates around my age from Aug 30 or thereabouts :) I’m 25, own a small business and mostly work all the time, but looooove my days off too. I’m looking for something nice around Woden valley area, inner south and maybe inner north if the house is right :) I’m not looking to commit to a year long lease in this instance, but more than happy to sign on for 6months. I’m a clean & tidy person, i don’t really party/drink much and wouldn’t suit a party house, I don’t smoke or have any pets but I love dogs a lottttt, I like my alone time but also would love to be good mates with my housemates! The only thing i need is a garage park for my car. I’d also prefer to have an ensuite where possible. My boyfriend lives in Sydney and I either go up most weekends or he comes down, so it would have to be okay that he stays some weekends Friday or Saturday to Sunday. On weekends I will pretty much go out for breakfast daily, sit in my bed and read books/netflix/play ps4 and sometimes try to socialise with friends hahah. I’m super down to earth and hope to find similar people :) Let me know if you’d like to meet!
Hey, my name is Lachlan and I am a 23-year-old Canberran, born and bred. I work full-time as a journalist, and I am looking for a new place to live after the owners of the house I was living in wanted to move back in. Fun facts about me: 1. I have a lot of siblings, like a lot, so I know how to live with people and to make sure I keep the house nice and tidy. 2. I am a bit of a sports nut, so when I am not writing about sport, I tend to be either on the sideline or on the couch or in the pub watching some form of sport. 3. I am a people-person, so I always down for a red wine and chat. Looking forward to hearing from you. Ta

Hi I'm Charmaine, 25 year old female, relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for work. I'm friendly, neat and tidy. Love being social but wouldn't invade your personal space. Happy to share a meal/drink or two and would love to be shown around Canberra as I'm quite new :)
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
29 year old professional, fresh off the plane from Perth. Looking for a place reasonably central to the city or inner south. I have an ancient cat who keeps to herself and won’t bother anyone. Sociable, but too old to hit the clubs every night!
Hi! I'm Nadine, a 24 year old architect looking for a friendly, social home in the inner north/south :) I'm looking for a place that I can call home, with people who are up for hanging out (wine, netflix, food!) but also respectful of each others personal space and down time. I'm friendly, easy going, and tidy. I'm a bit of a home body, and love tea, brunch and baking! In my other spare time, I like to explore Canberra and the greater region - hiking, attending Canberra's many events and markets, craft, pottery.. I'm looking for a friendly, happy household with housemates who are up for a chat / to hang out!
I'm an international student coming to ANU for my post-graduation. I'm a punctual, clean and well organised person. I respect others privacy. Also I'm a vegetarian and I don't drink or smoke. That's pretty much about me.
My name is Shannen, I’m 21 originally from Townsville in QLD currently living in Darwin working. I will be relocating with my partner and our little Shar Pei puppy who is named Daisy. I will be moving around July to commence work. My partner is 22 and will be studying. We are both very tidy, enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures and backgrounds. We are young and up for anything really. We are both very chilled and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with our fur baby. We are also interested in team ups and will consider starting a new share house.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
Hi, I'm Lauren. I've recently got an administrative full time job in the public service and looking to move in mid July. I'm neat, quiet and easy to get along with. I like the occasional glass of wine and watch some TV in the evenings. I will be interested in how your day went but will respect your privacy at the same time. I'm also quite interested in french language and culture so if you have any passion or knowledge of this too, that would be amazing!
