I'm Margot. I'm 24 and French. I'm an easy going person who likes to clean up after myself, and I respect other tenants privacy and personal space. I'm a non-smoker. I love cooking - I will be happy to cook French meals for my roomate(s) to try. In my free-time I also enjoy working out, swimming, reading and traveling! I was raised in both French and English, I also speak Italian and a little bit of Spanish and German.
Hello! I am a consulting graduate and will be moving to Canberra for my Full Time job. I am a cheerful girl who enjoys binging on TV shows, going hiking and catching up with friends over brunch. I love animals and will not mind if you have one. I am a tidy girl and I like to keep things clean, especially communal areas.
Dear internet, find me a house to live in... Just spent a year in Africa, so naturally thought I’d move to Canberra for a culture shock. Doing the same as everyone else in Canberra, working for (*insert current PM name*). I’m sociable, and will bring berocca when you’re hungover and watching reruns of GOT. Love the outdoors, hate the cold and I play ultimate frisbee (yay!). Keen to ‘team up’ or join an easy going house with a great vibe.
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
Hello, my name is Esman, I am 23 years old. I am a recent Uni graduate from Melbourne and have been offered a full-time position in Canberra. I am looking for a place to stay near Deakin for a year or longer, and my weekly budget for rent is around $200. I am a respectful and tidy person and since I don't know anybody in Canberra, I'm down to hang out. Im quite active and love nature.
Hi, I'm Zac, and I'm currently looking for a share house with a good, friendly share house culture. Ideally, in my future sharehouse I'd like to share the occasional dinner or casual drink with my flatmates and a couple of netflix/movie marathons. I'm 23 and work in the public service full time. I'm quite clean and tidy as a housemate, and like to have friends over every now and then. I've lived quite happily in a couple of previous share houses. I enjoy boardgames, reading books, and taste testing new (sometimes terrible) types of wine. I'm looking for a place either close to the Braddon/Dickson area or near Woden.
My name is Shani I’m down to earth and don’t mind having a chat and a laugh, I’m new to Canberra, have been overseas the past couple of years and just moved here from Sydney. I’m clean and tidy and respect the privacy of others :).
Originally from Melbourne, I’m looking for a place that’s fully furnished (including in the room) as I don't have furniture with me. A little about me… • 30yo (big kid at heart) professional male currently studying a Masters part time; • Grew up on the Gold Coast but actually a Melbourne boy; • I've had 10+ years experience living in share housing with both males and females; • I'm clean, tidy and considerate, but also sociable - so we can hang out... or not and do our own thing; and, • My interests include travel, entertainment (reading/tv shows/movies), volleyball and socialising. Let me know if you think it could be a good fit and when's suitable for an inspection - Looking to move in from mid-Feb to early Mar (latest 9-10 Mar).
Recent graduate from Queensland working full-time in Barton. Super easygoing, neat and sociable. Basically just looking for somewhere reasonably close to work and that can meet my basic human needs.
Hey! I'm Katie, I'm 26 from New Brunswick, Canada. I'm moving to Canberra for work at the end of March and am looking for a place to stay for at least 6 months. I don't know anyone in the city so would love to find some fun, kind, and chill roomies to live with! I'm clean, organized, and respectful of other peoples' space and am easy to get along with. I like to be out and about and am excited to explore Canberra, but also enjoy quiet nights in after work. I'm looking for a furnished place close to public transit so that I can easily get to/from work and the city centre.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
Hi there! I am relocating from Melbourne to Canberra to commence a full-time professional role in March 2019. I am hoping to arrive and move in by 11/3/19. I have lived in sharehouses in Melbourne for many years and am very respectful of other people’s privacy, and well versed in living with others. Outside of work, I am really excited to get amongst what Canberra has to offer in terms of sports, food and wine and outdoor activities!
Hi, I'm Chris, I'm relocating to Canberra because of an interstate transfer through my company. I'm gathering a few roomies together so that we can all live more comfortably, preferably 3 or 4 people sharing a large luxury house. I want the house to have an uplifting culture where everyone is happy and looks out for each other. If you're interested then lets chat :)
Accommodation found. Thank you. I'm a public servant and I've been spending my weekends checking out Canberra's music and art scene. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. Some good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly spring weather has been a surprise! I will happily have a preemptive chat with you about heating and elect bills in case I'm around long enough to need it next year. What else: my lovely cat is George. He's my little house panther. He's pretty cool. Cheers, Rose
I am a 48 year old male busy professional person moving to Canberra late February from Brisbane. Work full-time, I enjoy chilling out, reading, trying to keep fit. I like to have a chat but at the same time respect my house mates privacy. I recently got my motor bike license so enjoy riding my bike on weekends. I'm looking for a place to stay for about 6 months while I settle into my new job in Canberra. The intention is to move out afterwards if all goes well and move in with my girlfriend who will join me after 6 months.
Hi there, I'm Jay and recently moved to Canberra from Sydney to start up a grad position with the APS. Generally pretty relaxed and love doing outdoor activities particularly hiking, snowboarding and swimming, but also down for more chilled out things like playing video games, board games, having a drink etc. I also like to keep my place clean and tidy (Don't know why but I particularly love vacumming). Ideally looking for a private room in somewhat close proximity to Civic and/or Brindabella.
I am a second year undergrad studying health science at ANU, working casually at Questacon. I am very friendly, pretty tidy, and love to chat but respectful of space. I like music, art and books, bush walks, spending time with family and friends as well as drinking coffee. I am looking for a room close to ANU with friendly likeminded students or professionals for between 6-12 months moving in over the next few weeks (flexible).
Hey! Recently moved to Canberra from Melbourne for a short term contract and looking for somewhere furnished to call home until May (maybe longer). I'm 29, female, working full time in events at a local gallery. Enjoy good food and chats over a glass of wine as much as a chilled night in watching netflix or playing board games. Greg is French, 35, and unfortunately not allowed to work at the moment (tourist visa) but keeps himself busy playing guitar, bike riding and searching for craft beer. We're used to sharehouses and know how to clean up after ourselves, respect your privacy and all those good things you want in a housemate. So if you're heading off on an extended holiday or mission and want some extra spending money, let us know if we can take over your room :)
I’m originally from Japan, but I’ve been in Aus for the last 5 years. I moved in Canberra last year due to a new job in Barton. I work full time as an early childhood lead educator. Since my life has kind of settled finally, I am looking to rent my own place or team up with someone and rent something together. I’m very clean, organized, tidy and considerate, so I wouldn’t be a bad one to live with :p I like exploring cafes and restaurants on weekends, but I am not into much of outdoor activities.. haha I enjoy quiet nights after work Mon to Fri, and also hit the gym at night. I don’t mind buying furniture or appliances for the place, but I do not have a van or Ute...! Please shoot through the message if you are interested in teaming up :)
