The available room is a granny flat that includes one bedroom with wardrobe, a living space, bathroom and storage room. So the new tenant would have their own space but we're generally a social house so you are obviously always welcome to join us inside for the bachelorette and a glass of wine too!! The backyard and kitchen are also shared. This is important to be aware of because we have two small dogs who will be keen to greet you on the way to breakfast every morning. Decently located in the inner south, close to the shops and right near a bus stop.
Hey my partner and I are pretty chill and quiet, very clean and tidy, always pay bills on time and contrary to most people our age, reliable. Janice is moving from the coast and once moved will have a job ready to go, just needs a residence, I have a full time job as a dental assistant in South Canberra I've had for nearly half a year now. Both enjoy Netflix and gym, don't drink really and can be fun to have a chat with at the end of the day over a cup of coffee. Don't be afraid to shoot a message, happy to live anywhere from north to queanbeyan. Sincerely Olivia and Janice
Hi there! I've been in Canberra for just under a year now and I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm social, but like to have a bit of me time also. I'm always happy to share a bottle of wine and am always up for a chat and small Canberra adventures. I'm originally from Sydney so I am still back and forth a little. I love pets (especially dogs) but don't discriminate between any animals, as long as they like a good cuddle. I'm clean, I'm nice and am always up for some good banter.
I'm a fourth year student at ANU originally from Melbournebut here to study. I work part time as a swim instructor. I am fun and easygoing and enjoy sharing a meal or watching TV but also understand the need for space. Dependable I will do my share of the work. I also love animals so have no issue there :)
I am a young Belgian worker, looking for an accommodation from mid-February to end April 2018. I like when things are nice and clean. I love to share meals at the end of the day and talk with my flatmates about all kinds of topics. I am not noisy, polite and very adaptive.
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’m working full-time in the APS (in Barton) and I’m looking to move closer to the city. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
My name is Natalia, 25years old, I am currently in France and I plan to move in Australia in the beginning of November for a 6 month stay. I am a PhD student in Physics and I will be in ANU for my last 6 months of PhD. I am quiet and respectfull of ones privacy and freedom. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh.
I'm 28, French and just moved for a long term in Canberra for work. I currently work as a power plant manager in a company named Neoen which is a renewable energies producer. I would like to find a nice place to live and I'm actually looking for a shared appartment or house instead of living alone. :) I'm used to do house/flat-sharing as I lived in Paris in an appartment shared with 4 people during 3 years and I stayed for half a year in the US with 13 americans in a Fraternity house few years back. I love sports (biking, running, surfing, ...), nature, meet new people, going out for drinks and cooking (espially french pastries^^). I'm very sociable and can be quiet when needed and I know when to respect privacy of others. I'm also very open-minded, responsible, financially stable as I'm employed and I'm used to clean up after myself.
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from November but very flexible

Hi everyone! My name is Andreas, a Belgian Sports Physiotherapy Student from the University of Leuven. I am selected for an internship in a clinical practice in Deakin, Canberra. I'd love to have a room in a house where I can meet new friends. I am social, sporty and always in for a good laugh :) If you have the perfect accomodation for me, please contact me! Cheers Andreas
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD, so he would come to stay maybe twice each month. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. I'm open to a move-in date anywhere between Oct 14th and 28th. Let's chat!
Hi everyone, We are two Canberrans looking to move into a share-house from mid-November onward. Ellie is a young professional. She describes herself as super lame, and enjoys cooking, the outdoors and a drink. Ashleigh is an ANU student. She loves the ocean and the outdoors. She also survives mainly on peanut butter toast (so you won't have to worry about her hogging the kitchen). We are both friendly and social, but also like our down time. We are looking for another clean, friendly student/young professional to team up with/join our house. Flick us a message if you're interested, and we can organise to meet up & get a coffee. - Ellie and Ash
I'm clean, quiet and considerate. I love a wine and a chat. I'm moving from Brisbane and am travelling fairly light (enough stuff for my room). Ideally, I'm looking for an established place with some easy going professionals. I was a musician in my 20s (I played drums...and no I won't be bringing any drums down). However, I work in legal these days and really enjoy it. I really like all things creative / arts.
I am a small business owner and work from home, I love gardening, sunshine and socialising whilst also having my space. I am respectful of others privacy and easy to get along with, Very clean and tidy, I have no pets but I love all animals and train dog obedience as a second job. Sometimes I stay up late on my computer doing my graphic design and music hobbies. Hopefully I find a large room with great sunlight but not boiling hot, I'd like an ensuite and a happy living environment. Where everyone is clean and tidy but easygoing.
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.
Fun, easy going guy who likes to cook, bqq, craft beer and red wine. I enjoy games, gaming, cycling and swimming.. ok.. not so much swimming, but being close to a pool would be great! I've travelling to Australia from Scotland to geek out working at Microsoft so looking for some short term accommodation while working in Canberra.
I'm an International Relations student from Madrid and I'll be doing an internship in Canberra from October 1 until February 1. I've been sharing rooms/flats for the past three years and what I like the most is to share a good meal with my flatmates or a glass of wine from time to time. I'm quite outgoing but I also respect others' personal space. I'm tidy and clean, message me if you're interested! :)
The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, there is also a choice between a private entrance room that is larger but does not have a built in cupboard, but has its own small deck and overlooks the backyard. There is currently 1 boy and 2 girls and we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one!
I'm a friendly, easygoing, clean and tidy, social housemate with lots of share housing experience. I want to live in a house where housemates enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks together, and are able to have friends over occasionally, but who are also independent and respectful of each other's space. I work in the APS, studied law and arts at uni, and love hiking, yoga, cooking, reading and squash. And more! I like to be busy, to travel and meet new people, and to explore new interests. I'm looking to meet like-minded people to share a house or apartment with, in a location cycling-distance to Barton, and am flexible in my moving dates. Ideally the available room would be large, and preferably with its own bathroom (but not necessarily needed).
