All bedrooms are all queen size, there are 3 bedrooms inside with queen beds, built in cupboards and bedside tables. There is 1 room inside available to move now, all Utilities - Bills Gas, Electricity, Internet, Netflix, Stan $75 per month We have 1 female intern mid 20's, and me in my early 40's wth a 2 year old baby and 1 guy that stays 3 midweek nights a week as he works for Govt, I own a cafe in the city and the baby and I are up early and in bed early, we are looking for another housemate to join our little family Our household is a fun one!, we enjoy each others company, eat family dinners together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space.
Please chuck us a message via flatmates as I am still overseas :) I'm 22 and moving back to Australia to start a new job in the public service after working abroad in Fiji for the past year. I am a foodie and wine lover. On the weekends I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra's best cafes, bars, book stores and farmers markets. I love to travel, ski and take photos. I also love the outdoors and am keen to explore nearby hiking routes, and road trip out to Canberra's closest beaches. I am easy going, organised, tidy and respectful of space and privacy. I generally like to follow a quiet routine during the week but am always happy to catch up over dinner, wine, a cuppa or a board game. Happy to enjoy the occasional social gathering as well. I'm looking for a friendly and easy going share house that will provide easy access to Barton and the city centre. Ideally I would like a place that is female or mixed and has a backyard. I will be bringing with me: my car, furniture for my room and stacks of cookbooks. I'm am hoping to move in after new years, ideally by late January but am flexible.
I’m going on exchange next semester and am looking for someone to move into my room (pictured) for six months. This would suit someone considering, for example, an exchange in Sem 2 2020. It’s a really nice older house in Deakin (20 mins cycle to campus or a 22 min bus ride to Civic) with fancy inner south vibes (you’ll share a postcode with Parliament and Jenny Morrison will probably drop round the corner from The Lodge with a still-warm batch of her famous scones at some point). If Jenny’s (JenMo’s?) scones don’t provide all the sustenance you need for six months, it’s also just around the corner from Deakin shops, with its IGA and excellent cafés. The room is fantastic, and has a generous floorspan and a huge north-facing window featuring views over our backyard and across to Black Mountain. You’d be joining two great housemates, Adam and Skanda, third and fourth year ANU students who are fun, neat and tidy and always up for a chat. Rent is $197.75 per week (+ utilities/internet) and I’m happy to provide it furnished or unfurnished. I’m reasonably flexible around dates on either end, but am ideally looking for someone able to take over the lease in mid-December and move out in July. Message me if you’re interested!
Hi everyone ! I'm a 25 year old french gal Moving to Canberra in early october for work. I'm excited to discover the city. I'm used to living in flatshares so I'm (very) tidy, good at communicating and respecting people's space and I'm confident I can get along pretty well with anyone. In my spare time I love to go hiking, kayaking or exploring the city and testing out new restaurants. I also love to rest at home on the week ends and cook meals. I'm looking for a room in a non-smoking house or flat, preferably with other people working full time but I'm open to students as well ! Also if there’s NO carpeting around the house that would be a HUGE plus and I would sign a lease on the spot ! Feel free to message me if you want to know more about me. see ya !
Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hey I'm Angus, I'm a 25yo medical student mostly based at Canberra Hospital next year. I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse or also open to joining people on a new lease. I've lived in sharehouses before and like to chill over a few drinks or occasionally have dinner together but also respect others housemates' space and privacy. I'm flexible on move-in dates, furniture, etc and looking primarily around the inner south or near Canberra Hospital.
I am a 25 year old lawyer from Melbourne, commencing a position with the public service. I enjoy bouldering, hiking and being active. I also love good food, cooking, reading and animals. So if you have a dog that is a plus. I am clean, considerate and happy to get together for dinners, movies or board games. I also like to try new things. I will likely head down to Melbourne every three to four weekends.
Hi :) I am a full-time Dietitian looking to move out in the inner south. I'm clean and tidy, I love keeping active and cooking (not always as healthy as you might think ;), am super social but also super chilled so chats over dinner or a wine are always welcome. I love a good market or a hike and finding the good brunch spots for weekends. Hit me up if you think we'd be a good fit for a team up!
Easygoing, considerate, friendly, responsible, tidy, social (but not excessively so) mature male. I work in IT. I'm a Sydneysider about to commence a fixed-term role in Canberra. I'm originally from the UK, but have lived in Australia for over 20 years. I have family in Sydney and will mainly only require accommodation during the week. To relax, apart from the usual social activities, I do a little bit of photography in my spare time. I'm also working on improving my fitness so I would happy to be around active (or trying to be active) people. I'm not much of a TV watcher, so I won't monopolise the lounge room! I'm more of a music and movies buff, though I like some sports - (mostly AFL, some rugby union, cricket, motorsport). I'm a good conversationalist. I'm non-religious, non-ageist, pet-friendly. I am straight, but LGBT+ friendly, I'm a non-smoker, a light social drinker and an omnivore. I'm open to sharing or sole tenancy, though my preference is more the former.
Hey guys! I’m a 25 year old full-time APS worker who is moving to Canberra from the Gong in January 2020! I’m pretty easygoing and like to cook, go to the gym, read, get outdoors and taste plenty of good food/coffee. I’m hoping to find a house that is clean and tidy, with people that enjoy having a good chat and maybe a casual wine while watching The Bachelor (or a really shit show like Antiques Roadshow). I like my own space also and a bit of peace and quiet most weeknights. I’ve been living in share houses for the past four years and consider myself to be a pretty decent housemate (not to toot my own horn or anything). Always keen to clean and chip in on household items. I always pay rent and bills on time too. Hoping to find some people with the same vibes! Shoot me a message if I sound like a good fit for you! ☺️
