Hi all! I'm a PhD Candidate at the ANU originally from Melbourne, but have been in Canberra for >6 years. I've been interstate for a few months for work, and I'm looking for a place before I move back in to my permanent place on July 10. I am an easy going but clean housemate who works relatively long hours during the week but love relaxing on weekends. I'm definitely happy to be as social as you'd like - happy to have chats and cook together but am also okay if you'd prefer your own space. I'm pretty flexible with move in and check out dates. Let me know if you have any questions and am looking forward to meeting you! :)

My partner will be joining me in Canberra over the next couple weeks as he has picked up full time work in the city he is in carpentry. Thanks for taking the time to read a bit about me Cheers!! (:
25 yo stuck with a 40 yo passport! I dance way too much, love live music, movies and food. Green thumb, relatively good cook, and cat lady (with no cats currently sadly) 😻 On the more serious side...PhD educated woman. Italian background, Aussie for a long time now. Relaxed, very friendly, trustworthy, I have a lot of interests - tango, heritage, conservation, live music, theatre, musicals, food, languages - and happy to share them with flatmates or keep them private if it is a better arrangement. I seek a nice friendly place to call home. Any questions just ask :)
I’m a 21 year old who studies Criminology and Criminal Justice online! I am a laboratory assistant and a lab clerk - so I work both in the office and in a lab, which is pretty cool. I’m really down to earth. Love having a laugh, having a drink or binge watching TV. But I also like to keep to myself and I might spend a lot of time in my room - usually studying. I like to experiment with cooking, haven’t decided if I’m good or bad yet!
Government veterinary moving down to Canberra for a temporary transfer for 6 months with working for the RSPCA starting in June. Easy going, tidy and social. Love a cheeky wine but mainly just love chilling at home or getting out for a hike. I have an adorable long haired cat named Casper that I'm hoping to bring with me, he is very lazy but loves attention.
Hi! I'm an International Relations graduate from Finland and I'm arriving to Canberra for a 6 month internship. I've previously lived with roommates in London and in Seoul, so I have lots of experience from living with different cultures and people. I love long discussions by a glass of wine, as well as fun outdoor activities . As a person I'm sociable, but respect others' space as well. PM me if you have any additional questions, I'd love to tell you more! :)
Moving to Canberra from Adelaide for a full time embryology position starting May 13th. I love to cook and like to keep active by going to the gym. I'm a friendly, easy-going, tidy person, and am very considerate of other housemates!
I'm 29 yo female, moving from Brisbane to Canberra to start an APS job. I'm looking for a place to settle into while I find my feet. I have a car and some basic furniture from living in a one bedroom, that I can bring if needed but I can just put it in storage. I also have several tv streaming accounts to bring with me. I have lived in share houses previously. I am happy to go between being social and doing my own thing. If some of these things sound like they work for you, let me know!
Hey there, I'm Sami! I have recently moved back back to Canberra after living in Melbourne for two years. Despite having just moved back I've decided I'm well overdue for some soul-searching travel so I am looking for a short-ish term rental (somewhere between 3 and 6 months but potentially longer - if you're looking for at least 6 months and I agree to this, I will of course stick to that!) while I save up and practice my Spanish before heading over to Latin America. I work in hospitality in the CBD/Braddon area so am looking for a house that isn't too far from there so that I can cycle as much as possible! I'm a big fan of plants so more than happy to help your indoor or outdoor garden thrive while I'm in your home! I am also very passionate about environmental sustainability and was about to go into my second year studying this at ANU before deferring so that I can travel! I'm great to live with because I am super accommodating! Ideally I'd love to be part of a more social house with a bit of a community feel but I'm also totally happy to be in a more quiet and reserved home too. I am tidy, respectful, always promptly clean up after myself, a non-smoker and always pay rent and bills on time. Please chuck me a message if you have any questions!
The property is broken into two sections. The house and the flat. The flat has two rooms. It is located in a quiet suburb, close to shops and transport (it has 3 bus routes). It is spacious, warm and tucked away. Perfect to go home to at night. The utilities are part of the rent and you can be part of the house or just be on your own. Perfect for the uni student. The house also has pets. There is flexibility in rental option, just ask. You are required to pay bond and 2 weeks rent up front. Short stay is preferable.
I'm a public servant looking for short term accommodation anyehere close to a direct bus to the city. I'm hoping to find somewhere warm for the winter months and ideally, a place I can keep my cat, George with me. He's big ol panther but he's very cool. On the weekends i do my best to get our of the house to catch up on some studies, find a quite space to read and check out Canberra's music and art scene. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. This is very important to me. Some good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly autumn weather has been a surprise! I will happily talk to you about heating expectations etc before we get to winter. Cheers, Rose
I am a positive, happy, chill and funny guy from Stockholm, Sweden. Currently I'm studying Master of Laws at Stockholm University and this fall I'm heading to Canberra for my exchange semester. Besides my studies I've been acting and modeling a bit, and also working as a trainee at a law firm. I like being creative. I like to hang out with friends, meet new people, go for walks, barbecuing, museums, movie night and basically doing all those things that makes life a bit better. I hope to find like-minded people who would like to share a flat or a house with me. Make new friendships, helping each other and just hang out a lot, at the same time respect is shown for the others privacy etc.
I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the hospitality industry. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do share my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
I’m looking for a place around civic or south side (ideally in Deakin - looking for a place there now). I enjoy conversing with my flatmates over a glass of wine, like to watch Netflix and respect my housemates' independence and privacy. Professional, postgrad educated. Last but not least, neat and tidy, can cook and easy to get along with 😀
Hi Future Housemate, My name is Rita. I am an easy going person with good hygiene. I enjoyed cooking when I have time. I work equivalent full-time RN, and I enjoy volleyball a lot. No dramas in life, but enjoy relaxing life style in my free time. Hope we will be suitable to share the house.
Hey potential housemates My name is Sharne and I am a 28 year old Primary school teacher. I enjoy my personal space but also up for a chat and binging the bachelor, bachelorette or MAFS. Enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going to the movies and Seinfeld and sex and the city aficionado. Hoping to find 1 other person like minded to move in with :) Cheers Sharne
Hi, I'm Mark. I will be moving to Canberra at the end of April from NZ. I was born and raised in Sydney and also lived in Melbourne, so it's a bit of a move home. I'll be working full time in sports (football) which will no doubt keep me busy during the week and on weekends. I'm pretty easy-going friendly type and consider myself pretty low maintenance. I try to keep active as much as possible although not as often as I'd like. I'm quite well domesticated and willing to do my bit when necessary. I have a family who will be staying in NZ and I will be travelling back periodically, usually during school holidays. I'll be working in the Deakin area, so places nearby would be ideal, but more important is finding the right place and people. So I'm flexible and open to offers. As I'm not bringing any furniture, furnished is preferred but again I'm flexible and will manage accordingly. I arrive in Canberra on 29 April and it would be perfect to have something organised by then. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
Hi, my name is Rex, I'm 32 and I work full time as a Financial Systems Consultant in Deakin. I've lived in Canberra since 2000, except for a two year stint abroad in Canada and Scotland. I'm studying my final module to complete my CA, so that keeps me occupied. In what spare time I have I like to learning guitar, play Ice Hockey and catch up with friends. Looking forward to meeting you! Best regards, Rex
