Hi, I'm a young, professional, adventurous female looking for room for rent in Launceston ASAP. I've recently moved to the area for a new job, and I would like to find a place with other young professionals within 30 minutes walking distance of the CBD with a decent heating system and sunlight. I'm happy to negotiate rent. I'm an easy going caver, hiker and climber, who enjoys occasionally cooking with housemates and chilling. If you're interested in teaming up or have a room free, contact me
Well, I am moving from Melbourne to Launceston because I am starting a postgrad course in AMC Newnham (Early - mid July), and will work as a part-time freelance photographer when free. Most people find me to be a pretty easy going and considerate person. I am not good at cooking but like to keep the kitchen clean after each use. Like exercises, reading and enjoy a few glasses of wine on good weekend nights. Looking to share a house with someone who is also considerate, mature and considerable clean. Prefer to rent at least a year if the house and housemate(s) suit. Need carpark or off-street parking.
My name is Giang (Vietnamese). I'm studying Master of Laboratory Medicine in Newnham campus (UTAS) this July. I am looking for a room to rent for a long term period. To be honest, I am a very friendly, responsible, respectful and tidy person. Thanks and have a lovely day.
Hi to all the flatmates looking for a mate to live with. I am from India. A very companionable person, with lots of love to share with my future pals. I am planning to go for some extra curricular activities in Australia like jogging, mountaineering, camping and all sort of refreshing picnics. So, I seriously feel we will have the best time if everything goes well. And I am very calm and poised and funny too.
I'd really describe myself as a person with a versatile skill-set, a lot of integrity and a willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy a everyone. I mingle with people very easily and have strong interpersonal skills. Will be coming TAS for this July intake @ UTAS.
Yo I'm a 22 (soon to be 23) year old working professional who has recently settled into Sydney from sunny Queensland. Super career focused but love to hit the gym. Bit of a smart ass that's always up for a laugh. I'm a relatively contained person that values a quiet and clean house. Give me a message if you think this could work? I'm open to having a chat. Available in July, currently renting solo
Canadian born Hong Konger. Easy going, respectful , tidy and clean. A sailor studying at AMC, enjoy nature(hike/dive guy) I speak fluent english, cantonese and mandarin. I make youtube videos weekly...so I'll be talking to myself alone in my room from time to time heh (to camera and mic ofcourse...im not crazy i swear :P )
Great location to town, and really convenient to walk to many places. Well presented house with modern kitchen and bathroom. The room is cosy with fresh carpet and a heat pump, located on the second level, overlooking the garden. It can be furnished or not depending on your needs.
The property is located nearby the LGH and is about a 10 walk into the Launceston CBD. I'm probably a 2-5 min walk (tops) to taxi ramps/public transport and local cafes. The house is a cute little cottage which would be perfect for a uni student/worker wanting to be central to town and in the hub of things. The house is furnished with an inbuilt fireplace and has a decent sized courtyard (perfect for entertaining...in the warmer months). Important info: I do have a dog, so it's crucial that if you're interested in moving in you MUST like animals (she's indoor/outdoor). Due to the smaller nature of the house, I won't be accepting anymore animals (sorry, I love them, but there's no room). The room itself isn't currently fully furnished. But, the rest of the house is and of course you're more than welcome to use all kitchen and cooking utensils. So, basically you'll just need a bed and a wardrobe... PS. There is no washing machine. I feel like you guys need to know that. I normally hand wash or take it to the local laundry-mat. Which, is about a 5 minute drive (if there's traffic, and it's Launceston...so no traffic). Rules: (Lame, I know...but gotta have em') I work full-time, basically 6-days a week and generally have to go to bed fairly early, so I would ask that you keep it down (no parties...sorry...I hate myself for saying this #adultlyf) . The house is fairly small and I like things tidy, so it's important that you clean up after yourself and are willing to do your share of housework. No drugs. I won't tolerate them under any circumstances. No smoking. Rent is weekly, and includes unlimited internet and water. Electricity is crazy expensive and would need to be halved. Also, if you are successful you would need to fill out the appropriate forms with the real estate.
