I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier than that and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.
Hi All. I am a tech-enthusiastic, easy-going guy from Tasmania. I'm currently studying video game design, programming and small business management, and am very close to owning my own small studio in video game development. In my free time, I normally play video games, go to the cinema, or develop video games (It's my job and my passion). I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker, independent, tidy, organised, always pay on time, and enjoy genuine conversations. I'm planning to study in Watson ACT during 2018, and therefore i am looking for accommodation nearby for 1 year, starting around late January. I'd also be up for "teaming up" for accommodation. Hope to hear from prospective flatmates. :)
Hi! My name is Flavia. I'm open-minded, multicultural, love to cook, eat great cheese, drink a glass or two & chat with flatmates, bush-walk, watch documentaries, World Cup Soccer & independent cinema. PS - I'm a carnivore but some of my best friends are vegetarians/vegans...I'm responsible, tidy & sociable & looking for like-minded, interesting people to share with. I grew up in Sydney and have travelled extensively throughout Australia & overseas for my work in TV media production. Working outside Australia as a Video Journalist ( a one-woman roadshow as researcher, journalist & camerawoman), my specialities were making videos for humanitarian agencies. Now I'm moving to Canberra to take up a full-time job in a humanitarian agency in early Oct. I have a daughter but she'll be based in Sydney, with her Dad, for these months that I'll be sharing house. I'm looking, in the short-term, for share accommodation from Oct-Dec17.
Introverted, I like to keep quiet, I don't like to cook so all I need is a microwave and some freezer space. I use up very little fridge space and I've been previously living in a share house for more than 2 years and have lived with 5 different house mates in the past, all of which being originally strangers.
I'm a 25 y/o female who's easy going, social and tidy to live with. I love the anything outdoors, active and/or health oriented. I'm not really a partier but am always up for activities and/or a glass of wine. I'll be relocating from Brisbane as I have just taken a job with AIHW. I have never spent much time in Canberra and know very few people so am looking for friendly and social housemate/s.
I'm originally from central NSW, moved to Wollongong for uni and then came to Canberra in 2015 for a job in the public sector. I'm a seasoned veteran of the sharehouse, I'm super tidy and respectful of others' spaces. I haven't had any conflicts with my previous housemates to date and while I'm probably a bit more inclined to do my own thing than most I'm by no means a social hermit. I'm happy to accommodate your friends if the sentiment can be returned. I love traveling (actually I'm returning from a trip to the USA at the moment, hence looking for a place), also enjoy cycling and motorcycling, reading, Netflix binges, craft beer appreciation sessions and stimulating conversations about history, politics, society or pretty much anything if you're knowledgeable and passionate about it. If you think you could live with me or you have any other questions, please don't be shy! Cheers

Hi my names jacksen I'm 23yo apprentice refrigeration mechanic. I'm clean, quite, respectfull and a non smoker spend most of my time at work or training I'm paying way to much rent a week where I'm at so looking for something around 100-160 keen to move in asap :)
I am a 31yo male Engineer on the Canberra Light Rail. I try to stay fit and exercise (or just not get too fat) , but I do enjoy eating like a king on the weekends. a bit about me, I enjoy going to the gym, salsa dancing, my beloved Nissan weekend car, and hopefully get into some pilates for my ridiculously poor flexibility! On the weekends i dont mind a few frothies and a good burger with some banter. i enjoy going out and having a laugh , and i equally dont mind weekends chilling at home on the couch with a movie. As for house arrangements - I am very easy going and tidy, clean up after myself and easy to get along with. Im flexible with whoever I live with. Its not my first time doing the house share, so I know that everyone is different and theres always a solution so that everyone is happy. Wouldn't mind someone whos down for a few drinks or sharing a meal and some banter on the weekends! Cheers! Claudio
Hi, I'm Xiaoling YAO from China. I'll study in ANU for my Master Degrees of Statistics in the next 2 years. So, I haven't decided my lease length yet. I might be a little nerd but I'm a open and friendly girl. As a Chinses, of course I can cook. So if you want to share dinner with me, it is absolutely welcome. I don't smoke, have no pet (although I like them), and I'm single. I sometimes like to listen to some folk but am not keen to music. Sometimes, I like to draw something to kill time, I think that I'm good at it in some degree :P. Well, I don't have driving license, so, it is important for me to live in a riding range from campus. Thank you for your attention.
British guy moving to Canberra from London to take up a postdoc at ANU. I'm 30 years old, and I'm a tidy, considerate and sociable housemate. Interests and activities include cycling, hiking, and making/playing music. ANU can put me up in holding accommodation when I arrive on October 8, but I'd like to get on my own two feet as quickly as possible so I'm looking for a place that's available any time between then and Christmas. Up either for joining an existing houseshare or getting one going if there's anyone in a similar situation!
I'm a friendly housemate who likes playing sport, good chat and I'm pretty partial to skiing in the winter and sitting outside with a G and T in the summer. I have lived in share houses for a long time and do the following good stuff: pay rent on time, do dishes and mop the kitchen floor, and am respectful of everyone's need to sleep. I work in the APS and ideally looking for a place with other young professionals/ post-grad students who want to live with social and considerate people.
I'm moving to Canberra to begin a PhD at ANU. I lived in Canberra for four years during my undergrad but have been overseas for the last six months. About me: I study physics, I'm from NZ but moved to Australia almost ten years ago, I run competitively (and will often be out running in the evenings), love getting outdoors/hiking, and am keen to try growing a few veggies.
I am a full time Philosophy PhD student at ANU in my third year. I previously worked in the public service and also as a management consultant. I've been in and out of Canberra since 2011. My other passions are Improvised Theatre and a martial art called Aikido. As a housemate, I'm organised, dependable and considerate. Easy going and social, but not a party animal. I'm a non-smoker and don't do any drugs.
Hello! My name is Coco and I work part time for a start-up company in the city :) I'm in general a quiet person and tend to do my own thing during week nights. I respect people's privacy but wouldn't mind occasionally hanging out and having a chat. I'm a very organized and tidy person and living with me means you'll never need to worry about mess. In my spare time, I like working on my art projects such as knitting and painting. I'm a keen reader too!
Hello! I moved to Canberra in 2013 to study at ANU and then started working as a public servant at the beginning of this year. I'm a friendly, hilarious (in my unbiased opinion), neat and tidy person. I'm respectful of others and very open minded. I love cooking, reading, and doing arts and crafts!
Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom, for six months. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and sometimes travel for work. I'm renovating a house in Orange, so I head back there at least one weekend a month. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
