Hi, I'm a 20-year-old International Relations student studying and working at ANU. I'm looking to move into an existing lease or into a new lease with one to two other people, with a preference for unfurnished rooms. I'm after a room big enough to fit a queen bed and a good-sized desk comfortably. I'm clean, quiet and I pay bills on time. I don't mind a bit of mess but also like to do a general tidy/clean every week. I enjoy going out for a drink, cooking, reading and binge-watching comedy shows on Netflix. I keep to myself but am certainly up for the occasional shared meal or drink. I'm really not into big parties or events, so I'm not interested in a big house warming party. That's not to say I don't want guests at the house, just not a big, loud event. Ideal flatmates would be fellow students or young professionals. My ideal locations are somewhere in North Canberra, Belconnen or Woden. Essentially somewhere that's within 15-20minutes of the city and ANU. I'm looking to spend around $300 a week on rent, utilities and Wi-Fi. A car space is desirable.
Big house, big backyard, very fast unlimted internet, close to bus routes and local shops. Decent sized kitchen with plenty of spare shelf space. Garage with some storage space Large upstairs room and smaller downstairs room are available, both with inbuilt cardboards. Will be sharing bathroom and toilet with 1 other person. Internet is $25 a month on top of rent (fast and reliable). Netflix and stan good to go. 2 rooms available now for $200 and $180. Bills split equally each quarter.
I respect the place I live in and others living space I'm easy going and have a great sense of humour I'm responsible and willing with housework I enjoy cooking I'm tidy and clean-living I'm quiet but I enjoy good company
I am a relaxed, easy going person and a total animal lover. I have a gorgeous labrador so by sharehousing with me you get all the perks of having a dog (cuddles, walks, cute tricks, love and adoration) without the negatives (5am walks, cleaning up, spending $$$). Nala is fine on her own but also enjoys other dogs so we are pretty flexible! I spend a lot of time at work and at our dog club so Im low maintenance to live with. I just want a nice comfy place to sleep at night and to study as I work full time in the city and am studying my masters part time. Im looking for someone(s) to share the rent, upkeep and some good conversation! I'm a non smoker and would prefer to keep the house that way, keen for a good meal or movie night on occassion but totally respect that people have busy lives and may just want their privacy at home! Drop me a line if you'd like to have a chat and/or meet Nala (I know, the dog is way more fun to meet) and you would be interested in teaming up or if you think I'd be a good fit for an available room :) Cheers Monique and Nala
I am an easy goin person, love to keep my space clean n tidy, I respect each ones privacy but would love to hangout and chat anytime :) love sports, I am a professional photographer, artist, guitarist, petrol head (rally racer), fun and loving. ;) I study at ANU
Hello! I've recently completed my Bachelor of Education, moved to Canberra and am working in education. I am friendly and easy going and would enjoy sharing the odd meal/cuppa, whilst also enjoying my own space. Having lived in shared houses for quite a while, I am considerate of others and their space, clean and tidy and reliable with all payments. My interests include exploring Canberra, building up my fitness and camping/hiking. I also like curling up with a good book.
Currently studying Biochemistry & Environment/Sustainability at ANU (Full time). I currently work casually at a restaurant/bar. In my spare time I play AFL, go to the gym and love an odd night out or a festival here and there. I do maintain a plant based diet and strive to minimise waste. I am a tidy, clean and responsible individual who would look forward to getting to know my housemates and socialising but can also respect privacy and needed down/alone time. Im looking to join a share house with like young, like-minded individuals. Happy to share bathrooms. Preferred location: Basically anywhere in north Canberra.
Hi there! I'm Rylee from Canada. I've been in Canberra previously as part of an exchange with UC, but I'm in love with the bush capital, and Australia in general, and I plan on sticking around until February of next year. I'm currently studying by correspondence at my university back home and am aiming to find work in retail or hospo. In the meantime I have a good nest egg of savings. I am a pretty laid back and tidy housemate and keep busy during the week. I love history, netflix marathons, politics (thus Canberra,) baking, and a good cup of tea. Am down for a chat (can tell you stories about growing up in the middle of nowhere!), bev, or dinner when you're around, or can just do my own thing. I've lived in rental housing for 2.5 years, two years in apartments of my own back in Canada, and 6 months in student accommodation with roommates, so I'm pretty familiar with what goes into keeping up a household, and am a good and responsible tenant.
Hi, I'm Kate. I graduated from the ANU in December 2018 and have been working in the UK for the last six months. I'm returning to Canberra in July and looking for a house/some housemates. I'm super tidy, respectful and friendly.
Hi everyone My name is Sally, I'm looking to move into a share house with some friendly housemates. I'm a laid back person who likes to have a laugh but I'm also very respectful and tidy. I'm just looking to live a bit closer to the city for work. I'd love to hear back from you Cheers
I work fulltime for the RSPCA ACT doing their marketing. My contract was supposed to finish at the end of June but has been extended until the end of the year. I have really enjoyed my time in Canberra so I thought I would stick around until then! When I'm not at work I am often playing basketball or seeing friends. I am quite flexible on who I am living with and what I am looking for. I have really enjoyed the last two houses I have lived in and am only moving because of an agreement I made with a friend who I said could have my room in July. My current housemates/landlord will likely be able to give a recommendation if you would like.
