I've just moved to Canberra from Sydney to start an APS Grad job. I'm always up for a chat but also respect other people's privacy and space. I'm easy going, I clean up after myself and I keep common areas tidy. I enjoy cooking, hiking and unwinding with a glass of wine. I'm flexible with move-in dates but would prefer between the 17th and 30th of April.
Hi there, I'm Desmond, I am a digital designer working full-time at a graphic design studio in the north side. I have been in Canberra for a while now after spending time studying in Melbourne and looking to make the next move into another place. I know how to cook, clean and pay bills so if these are your focal points then don't worry, I have that covered. When I am not at home I like to go for a cycle, play the guitar (bass, if you want to learn I can help you out), do some cooking go for a walk. I can only write so much in this description, so it is better to talk in person over a coffee or tea... Just give me a call to arrange a time! **I'm interested in teaming up to rent a place as well. Just give me a message**
I’m Jess and I’m looking for a place to live. I’m a public servant who works full time and sometimes on the weekends. I am tidy and housemate trained. I’m sociable but like my own and respect others personal space. I’m easy going and looking for a nice household with a chilled environment.
Hi there! I am a happy and friendly person who loves life. I enjoy the outdoors and sports, even in the Canberra cold! Always up for coast or snow trips, and a few backyard ciders here and there! I love to cook though that can be a bit hit and miss sometimes haha. I'm a respectful individual who works fulltime (journo) and studies partime (ANU). I enjoy living with other people. Honestly I think I am mostly great to live with because I enjoy making a house feel like a home. I think that's really important. :) I also love love love music! I enjoy watching homeland and how I met your mother... and basically every other show on netflix. So please shoot me a message if you're like minded and have a decent size bedroom I could fit a bed and a desk and still be comfortable in! :)

I am Kartik Gupta from India. I will be pursuing PhD in Computer Science at Australian National University. I love traveling and adventure sports. I am very social and like going out for fun activities.
Hi, I'm currently a 2nd year Economics student at ANU and work part time in a restaurant in the Barton area. Looking for a place that is sociable but also at the same time respecting privacy and individual space. Enjoy reading about the latest news and world affairs, nights in and out with good food and wine, Netflixing and enjoy watching and playing tennis and AFL :)
I'm Max! I'm 21 and originally from Braidwood, I moved to Canberra in 2010, and am looking to relocate amongst the inner North. I'm neat and tidy, can respect others' personal space, and can always pay the bills on time.
Hi, I am a Sri Lankan and a current PhD Student at ANU. I am very social, fun-loving and willing to make new friends. And, more importantly, I would say I am too clean and tidy. I love cooking and also enjoy cleaning and housework. I am looking for a room in a house, preferably close to the university with no pets. Thank you.
I have recently moved from Brisbane and I am looking for a room in Canberra. I currently work in Gungahlin which I will commute to either by public transport or my own car. I live clutter free and strive to live in a hygienic and very clean environment. Socially I enjoy craft beer, music and plenty of sport, however given I know few people in the ACT I would enjoy spending time with other flatmates. Love light-hearted fun like chilling out with boardgames. I can bring my guitar out for a jam if you want to hear a song. This said, I am open minded to all views and perspectives and I respect personal space among the household. Looking for a like-minded, fun loving and relaxed household to meet a bunch of mates. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and would love the opportunity to cook for everyone and with my degree in engineering I would be willing to provide free IT help. I am packed up and ready to move immediately.
As a person I am very easy going, tidy and respectful to others. I am currently a single male at my early 30's. While I prefer having a private room where I can relax and study, I also love watching movies, listening music (off course in low volume), jogging, and playing outdoor games. I'm not really into big parties, but I'm always in for sitting together in a cozy group with my friends.
I am easy going, a student, looking for a room in a house with no smoker and no pets, may move at the end of March or April, I don't mind the location as least there is a bus to city. Thank you
Hi, this is Thuany. I'm 25yrs old and Im moving to Canberra to start my PhD at ANU. I'm a very tidy and warm person. I'm also quiet and consider myself mature. When I'm not studying I love to go exercising and socialize. I love to go for a meal/drinks sometimes. Non-smoking.
I am a 31yo of the female variety. I just moved to Canberra to return to full time study at ANU. I’m probably the oldest first year who knows the least... 🙊 Prior to this I was working full time in Production in the Film and TV industry in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. I’ve been around the traps! But loving calling Canberra my new home. I'm not home all that much in the scheme of things. If I'm not at Uni/work (yes, I do have a job too!) I'm most likely out to a meal with friends (when I make some 😉), having a coffee and reading the paper at a cafe, or going for a little jalk (jog/walk) listening to a podcast. If I am at home, I'm probably sleeping, studying, cooking up a quick easy bite (I love food but am a bit Gen-Y in my "at-home" cooking habits), watching a series on my laptop or chilling on the couch with a wine and watching a movie / ABC on Monday nights or some junk reality TV. I believe I'm a super considerate housemate. I've grown up with older siblings, lived with friends and strangers. I like a friendly easy going household where everyone just chips in and gets along with no stress. I know all about personal space, cleaning up after yourself, privacy, replacing anything you may use of someone else in the heat of the moment & paying all bills on or before the due date! I will mostly organize my own food but I think a shared meal every now and then is a lovely bonding exercise! I love movies, current affairs, coffee, trying new cool places to eat, the beach, good company & bad karaoke (every now & then when the hair gets let down). I'm from Perth originally so from time to time a family member or friend may come stay with me for a weekend, although I think they've got it out of their systems now! But if they do visit, I promise they will be house-trained too...
I’m a student at ANU, doing a double degree of commerce and science (psychology). I also work at a cafe in Gungahlin. I’m from Canberra, but I’m looking to move out of home soon. I’m a good person to live with because I’m neat and friendly, but also won’t be overly noisy and you will still be able to enjoy your privacy. I’m looking forward to meeting new people and making friends
I'm looking for somewhere short-term and preferably furnished (but not a deal-breaker to get my things out of storage in Sydney). I enjoy living in a busy house as I'm quite social. When I’m home I like cooking, playing music and hanging out in the garden (before Canberra becomes freezing cold)!!! I’d prefer inner north to be close to friends. I'm currently working in Deakin - I've worked here in a marketing role for 2 and a half years. I also work a couple of nights a week in a bar in Braddon so would be great to walk to and from work if I can. Living with great people is most important so happy to look at other locations. On weekends when I’m not working I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. I’m pretty much the perfect housemate - hardly home. I love animals so a pet would be amazing! It’s also a bonus if great coffee is within walking distance Send me a message if you have a room becoming available. Can be flexible with move-in date
Very keen on meeting new people. I am an apprentice landscaper and work full time, which I enjoy, as its outside and working with my own two hands. This also means any exterior work needed or maintained required on the house will be in more than capable hands. In my spare time, I play/listen to a lot of music, go bike riding, bush walking, watch movies and spend time socialising with mates.
