Hi There! I'm a full time cinema manager and part-time drag queen and performer. I'm a private and respectful house mates, certainly not a party animal but do love getting to know and chilling with my housemates. Im also a massive film buff so always keen for a movie night, and because of my work I constantly have free tickets so movie nights are always on me! As for what i'm looking for generally anything in the sort of inner-west area, ideally in a room a little on the larger side but certainly not essential.
Hi! I've just moved to NSW and I'm currently looking for a place in Sydney. I'm in my mid-30's and I have a career in healthcare so I'll be securing a job soon which would typically involve full time work during the week. I'm a friendly and considerate person who also respects other people's space. I always like going for a run or rock climbing session too. I've had lots of experience in share houses and I hope to find a quiet place to call home.
Full-time worker, I like a combination of staying in to read and drink tea, and going out for a dance or a few drinks on a Friday or Saturday night
**(Disclaimer; the doggy in the picture lives in Japan haha)** ------------- こんにちは！ Hi future roommate person/s! How weird is it to write about yourself? I'm a 26 year-old male slave working and studying full-time. I’ve just moved up from Melbourne to Sydney to study at USYD. Also with me is Teppei, my super cool 21 year-old partner in crime. Tep is from Japan studying at WSU and is incredibly great at making Japanese food if that's your thing. Tep also works 6 - 7 days a week, so we're both pretty busy. With whatever time we have spare, we love to chill with video games - mainly Super Smash Bros! Be cool to play with someone my level, because I've never actually won against Tep lol. I'm a bit of a dork, love to make people laugh and find the humour in almost anything. The more dark and sarcastic your humour, the more we'll get along swimmingly. We're pretty flexible with locations, so open to anywhere in the city as long as it's near a train line (though, we're not keen on moving to Penrith).
I'm an undergrad pharmacy student, originally from Singapore but I have been living in Sydney for three years. Currently looking for a place to stay long-term (at least a year, probably two years) with immediate effect. I'd describe myself as on the quiet side but always up for a chat/drink/meal with roommates; not a party person though. Mostly I prefer to chill in my room with Netflix or video games, and I also enjoy cooking (always happy to share food!) I'm very easygoing with respect to house matters, guests staying over, cleaning schedules etc and almost anything goes as long as it's reasonable. That said I respect house rules and always clean up promptly after myself, as after all I want to stay in a clean environment too. Pets/animals in the house are not a problem for me and if anything would be a bonus, I love animals (:
I'm a young professional going back for a Grad Dip in Psychology. I'll be working remotely at my current job, so when i'm not in class I'll be working away at the computer a lot of the time. I also love sewing and other arts and crafts. Excited to get back to the city to explore bars and restaurants and everything off beat.
I am doing full-time research for at least 4.5 months with Sydney University for my PhD. I might extend it for longer, depending on the research. I am an architect studying how people in developing countries can be motivated to build back safer housing after a natural disaster. So I might also do some field research in the Fiji islands. I am looking for a good place to work but would love it to have people around to cook, have drinks and go out. I am Dutch and have lived in many places around the world sharing houses. I am easy to have around and clean and tidy. I am looking for nice people to enjoy my stay in Sydney. I am outgoing, love doing sports, dancing, running, field hockey, hiking and making art.
I have a room in my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Dulwich Hill available for rent. You'll be living with me, meaning 2 people total. The room is unfurnished. It is big enough for a double bed and a dresser/desk, plus has a built-in sliding door wardrobe (mirrored). You'll have your own large bathroom which has both shower and bath. Apartment has its own interal laundry with washer and dryer. The living area is nice and spacious, opens out to a small balcony, and the whole apartment gets a lot of light. Thanks to its layout it doesn't get really hot in Summer or really cold in Winter (and it has reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area anyway). There is also a park literally next to the building, and the development has a pool and common areas. The apartment is part of a small development (approximately 50 apartments, split across multiple buildings so any one building only has 8 apartments in it) in a very quiet street in Dulwich Hill. It's only a few minutes walk to the light rail, about 10-15 minutes to the train, and about 10 minutes to buses. Any of those public transport options will get you into the city in under 20 minutes. The apartment is pet friendly, though I would need to get strata approval so would request that you tell me if you plan to bring a pet (or buy one). I'm very allergic to cats though, so no cats, sorry.
Hi all, I’m a 29yr old female looking for a private room in a share house. I grew up in Sydney, born in Indonesia. On the weekends you’ll find me at the beach, running, doing yoga, going to art galleries, having brunch and occasionally having a cheeky bevvie or two :) I’m pretty healthy so like to cook from time to time, am super tidy, chilled, love to hang out over a glass of wine or movie, but also crave my private time. You’ll find me a very easy person to live with ;) I’ve been working full-time for 8yrs but going back to study this year, and currently working part-time.
I am 25, and work full time in the IT industry. I am tidy, laid back and friendly, looking for a place that is clean and respectful, and people who enjoy spending some time together but also do their own thing. I like to read, hang out with friends and Netflix in my spare time. Love all kinds of animals, so any house with pets is a big plus! Looking to find a place with similar minded people 🙂
You can have a good time with nice people and at the same time have you privacy. The area is rich on culture, history and good environment, close to newtown, marriville and the city. Car space and play station available as well. You will have a good time.

We have a large room in a huge Victorian house available for a sociable non-smoker who likes their space. The bedroom is the one in the picture, but comes unfurnished. That said, there is some spare furniture in the house that you can use and you can use the queen bed from the spare room while you get settled. You'll be sharing with 2 males and 1 female. The house has 4 bedrooms + guest room, 2 living spaces, 2 dining spaces, 3 bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a good sized deck with BBQ. We're close to buses, Lewisham train station and Waratah Mills light rail station. We're also close to Dulwich Hill shops, about 3km from Newtown and a short walk to Marrickville. Cycling into the city takes around 20-25 minutes. The rent is $260 per week + $40 for bills = $300 per week including bills. Bills include electricity, gas, unlimited internet and a cleaner every 2 weeks. We may be ok with a dog if you come with one, depending on breed, but not a cat sorry. We have 2 pet chickens. If all this sounds interesting for you, please send me a message and we’ll go from there.
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I work full-time as a copywriter at an appliance retailer but, despite the trappings of office walls, I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. I currently live in Balmain with two housemates but, because it's such a small house, cabin fever is starting to set in. Get in touch if you'd like to team up to look for a place, or if you have a vacancy and think I'd make a good fit. :)
The house is a beautiful, spacious, renovated terrace situated on a quiet street, with ample on-street parking. It has a large, modern kitchen, a large living/dining area, two modern bathrooms, a deck and nice garden out the back. It's in a really convenient location - close to buses to the city (a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop), the train station (15 minutes walk) and the light rail. Supermarkets, restaurants etc. in Dulwich Hill, are all a 5-minute walk away. All three upstairs bedrooms have air-conditioning/reverse-cycle heating. The bedroom itself is a large, light-filled room upstairs, with a large built-in-wardrobe, and windows overlooking the garden and the sunrise. **IMPORTANT** Due to flatmates.com.au description restrictions, the rent and bond are not exact. $1173.20 rent is to be paid by the 1st of every month and the bond is $1100, this means a weekly rate is never perfectly accurate, but it's all it will allow me to put on the profile, any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
A bit about me: I'm a 26 year old professional making the move to Sydney for my career. Before you dismiss me as a Melbournian, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that I was born in Sydney and can be impartial during 'which city is better?' debates. I finished uni last year after 6 years. I travelled around a bit and have now landed a job in St Peters. I am hoping to live around the area to make my life easier. I like going out and enjoy cultural activities like galleries and shows. I also love staying in and watching movies. What I'm looking for: Ideally, I'd like a room/apartment that has a bit of storage space for my clothes and an ensuite. Having said that, I will consider any place that's clean, with a good location and has pleasant housemates. My preferred length of stay is really open from 6months+. I like to be social but am more than happy to give housemates as much space as they like. I would most prefer to live with somebody in their mid 20s-30s. I don't mind if pets are around - I would actually really like if they were. I would like a parking space since I plan to get a car at some point. Though this is not a strict requirement.
Hi Nice to meet you, I'm an IT professional from Hong Kong and is coming to work in Sydney, will need a short term accommodation for 4 months. I'm a tidy, clean and respectful person, dad of a 1 yr old boy (dun worry my baby is not coming with me :D). May need to cook for dinners but probably only use my own rice cooker so you won't even notice that I used your kitchen. Only consider places within walking distance to train station as I will heavily rely on trains. Will want to explore around Sydney when I don't need to work. fb: https://www.facebook.com/ryan.tsui linkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryan-tsui-17b92972/

Hello! My name is Molly! I have been living over seas for the past 2 years and am finally moving home. I will be working a full-time job and hopefully studying come the new year. I am an easy-going, tolerant person. In my free-time I like to paint, listen to music (I have inherited a large record collection but I promise I'll keep it down) and drink a lot of coffee. I also bake on a regular basis but you can't blame me if you start to gain weight. I'm looking for an open-minded household Ideally somewhere in the inner-west. I'm relatively flexible with the move in date as long as it is after the 27th
