I have lived at this property on the edge of Dulwich Hill/Summer Hill/Lewisham for nearly 2 years. Its a great leafy location conveniently located to public transport with the light rail to Haymarket just 200m away, Lewisham and Summer Hill stations a short walk (14mins to Central) and close regular busses to CBD/Sydney Uni/Camperdown. The house itself has lots of natural light, high ceilings, big recently renovated kitchen and deck (w/ BBQ and drinks fridge) ideal for winding down after work or socialising on weekends. Summer Hill, Petersham, Dulwich Hill and Ashfield are just a few minutes away which have pretty good pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. Its also very easy to get into Newtown or the city. On street parking outside the house is never a problem.
Hello! I'm a 31 year old female originally from the UK now living in Sydney for the next couple of years for work. I work in TV production and sometimes travel for work but when I'm not, I enjoy socialising most nights of the week but also enjoy the odd night in with a glass of wine in front of the TV. Aside from travelling for work, I also like to get away and plan to see as much of Australia as I can while I'm here. I'm also fond of keeping fit, going to the beach and cooking when I can. I consider myself to be quite tidy and clean and would preferably like to live with someone who is likeminded. Happy to move in somewhere by the end of October or early November. Would love to live with pets but unfortunately I'm allergic!
I'm currently living in the Hunter and commuting to my job on York St as an Office Manager of an insurance brokerage and law firm...every day. I'm 27, and obviously having grown up in the Hunter love a glass of wine. I'm not a huge party animal but am fairly sociable. I have just as many male friends as I do female and really just need someone who's considerate and preferably a professional. Ideally, I'd like to move during the first two weeks of November. I currently have a house full of furniture and appliances so if you've a housemate moving out and taking essential furniture items I can likely replace them. My older brother has just moved back after a decade in the U.K. so he's happy to take whatever I don't need. I am coeliac and have other allergies so prefer to prepare my own meals...but enjoy cooking so if you don't mind a bit of gluten free perhaps we can share meals occasionally.
Hey y'all! Im Emily im 21 years old originally from Coffs Harbour but I've been grinding in Sydney for 4 years now. I'm a really easy going person who works full time as a retail manager , I love eating, meeting new people, socialising but I also love spending time on my own! Happy to have drinks with some cool housemates if they're up for it but all in all I respect people and their space. I love exercising and being a potato on the couch, you get the best of both worlds! Looking for a room with similar minded house mates :-)
We are mature and responsible, but also have a god sense of humour. We love cooking for friends and getting together over a bottle of wine, but also respect that sometimes everyone needs some space and privacy
I am many things but here are a few things great about me: 1)I am a Christian and have a Great sense of humour, i am always one to make people laugh. 2) Elecrtronics background, so i a well versed with technology :). A bit nerdy 3) Very tidy and clean, not a bad cook either 4) Love sports, playing sport, watching sport. 5)Very humble and friendly I am looking for either a room with my own bathroom or team mates to team up so that we can find a place to share together. I would also love a place where there is not much noise and that would also allow my girlfriend to visit as we have church services to attend to together every Friday and Sunday. It would be lovely to find like minded people who share the same values and this would be great as we can help each other grow
Big room in a bright and spacious apartment. The room is 3x4m including built-in wardrobe, with east facing windows. There's plenty of storage areas in the apartment as well. The place is pretty big, with an air-conditioned open living area and a huge balcony. The apartment is fully furnished except for the room (plus there's a dishwasher!). If you've got a few items of your own furniture I'm sure we can make space for it out in the common area. Because I have an ensuite you'll have the big main bathroom mostly to yourself, although it's there for the occasional guest as well. Unmetered internet is $30/month, and I'm estimating electricity at $100/month. On top of that I'll occasionally hit you up for money to cover cleaning supplies. Literally across the road from the light rail, a 10 minute walk from Dulwich Hill train station, and five minutes from the shops. 30 minutes from the city.
I have lived in Sydney for 28 years. I am a "physically small", down to earth, easy going 39 y.o. male. I have a good rental history of paying rent on time. I would love to have some friends to have a chat with, and go out shopping at the supermarkets every so often. I am very respectful of other's privacy and belongings. I just want a good sized, private, unfurnished room without having to climb too many stairs, and preferably no carpet. Please note that during busy periods, I may not logon to the flatmates website for more than a week. If you are interested, please call me to arrange and meet for a quick face to face introduction. Cheers.
Hi, I'm Alex. I am quiet, easy going, reliable, clean and well organized person who enjoys cooking, skating and keeping fit in the gym. I currently live in Northern NSW and will be commuting to Sydney for work, and working a rotating 24 hour roster as a Health Professional then flying home for days off with my family. So I will only be there half of the week. I am preferably looking for a furnished place, including bills, but its not a requirement. Have a great day :)
I am a very easy going, sociable and reliable 23 year old male. I work full time in Sydney Olympic Park for the NRL. I am looking for a private room in a share house. I currently live in Baulkham Hills but want to move closer to the city and work. I like going out on weekends, but during the week I keep to myself. I regularly have external commitments on weeknights such as meetings and training sessions. I love my sport, especially cricket, rugby league (GO THE EELS!), rugby and soccer. I am a very clean person and consider myself a bit of a clean freak.
We've got a very large, beautiful, unfurnished room available in a huge, modernised 5br Edwardian house for a non-smoker to share with 2 blokes (1 is a 17 year old who stays 3 nights per week). Note that the room is not for a couple, even though it's big enough to host a small music festival. There are 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms and 3 bathrooms, 1-2 guest rooms that can be used as needed, a good sized deck with modern BBQ and a big backyard with some pet chickens. The room is the one with the bed in the photo, although it comes unfurnished. That said, you are welcome to use the bed from the guest room while you get yourself sorted. We're within 100m of cafes, supermarket, pubs, small bars and transport and more. There are three transport options nearby - train, bus and light rail. We're also only a few km from Newtown, which is one of the social hubs of Sydney. The rent is divided $260 + $40 for bills (so $300 total). Bills comprise broadband internet, gas, electricity and bi-weekly cleaning by a professional cleaner (excluding bedrooms). You'll fit in nicely if you: - are not a hermit. - are generally a pleasant person, reasonably mature and helpful around the house. - are clean. - are social, like a chat and a laugh or a beer or a wine. - are around 35 years old +/- 10 years. - are looking for something longish termish. - can handle some home music - we're semi professional, completely amatuer musos. There may be a bit of singing around the house that you'd have to get used to! If you like, we'll learn some of your favourite songs - and guarantee not to destroy them.* Please contact Richard for an appointment to view the house and room. PS. in case there is any concern about living with a teen 3 nights per week, he's a good kid who'll happily chat to you or he'll keep to himself to work on his hobbies. So he's just like any other flatmate. * Not a guarantee.
I'm a 23 year old, female American here on a work/ holiday visa and am looking for a cool place to live! I'm pretty chill, but still social. I'm clean and respectful. And I'm looking to move in ASAP. Message me for more deets.
Originally from the Blue Mountains. Working in the CBD full time Mon-Fri 9-5. Master chef, neat and tidy, can take bins out if required.
Hey, I'm Charles an outgoing young friendly full time IT Engineer moving down to Sydney from the Central Coast. I love to socialise and don't mind a chat but I'm happy to keep to myself too. I'll keep a tidy house and respect your privacy and lifestyle. I am very easy going and flexible so i don't mind adapting to your way of life. I enjoy tv and movies, music and catching up with friends. I also keep quiet and study often.
I'm very laid back and have pretty much lived in shared accomodation ever since leaving school years ago so I'm all good and familiar with cleaning, respecting people's space, cooking and all the rest. I'm always up for a beer and some banter but just as much enjoy my own time working on my music or drawing. Pretty much up for any sort of beach adventure, catching gigs, dinners, hiking, jamming and what not. I play the keys and guitar and am currently in the works with writing some of my own music. My situation is I have just gotten back from living in London and have been staying in Surry hills in a sublet. I have a stable income and am working full time at the cafe Gratia on Bourke street and one or two nights a week at the live jazz and blues bar Venue 505. I am commencing study next year at UTS studying sound design and production so finding somewhere close to the city would be amazing.
Hi! I'm Nicole, I'm 23 and I am currently working as a professional dancer.I've just come back from Europe with three girlfriends and I'm currently living with my family on the central coast. I am constantly driving to and from the city for work and it's taking up too much time and petrol in my life. I am clean, always willing to help out. I enjoy going out and socialising and meeting new people, but also enjoy my own personal space and am always respectful of others space.
Hey, my names Xanthe. Not looking to move out til early next year but thought i'd get in early. I'd like to live in a clean and tidy place, with someone who respects common areas. I like to go out on weekends occasionally, have a late night and socialise, and would love a social housemate who respects both ends of the spectrum between work and play.
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and rock climbing on weekends.
Easy going, experience living with all kinds of people, work full time and usually busy after work but happy to chat and chill when I'm around. From Queensland originally, moved down for work 18 months ago. Like photography, trekking, outdoor activities, BJJ. etc. Looking to move in late November or early December, but that can easily be pushed to Feb 2017 if required!
Hi! My name is Liam and I am a 3rd year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at The University of Sydney. If you have a pet or want to know some gross Vet related stories, then I am the perfect housemate for you! But even if you don't, I am still the perfect housemate for you! My brother and I are looking for two separate rooms. I have lived in share housing for three years now and have got it pretty much down pat. I can cook, clean and live cohesively with other people. I am at uni everyday and work on weekends at a local pub. I am a quiet housemate but love having the odd dinner with housemates and friends and sitting around the lounge room just chatting. I am from a small country town in NSW and moved to Sydney for uni. I love to skateboard, go to the gym and go to heavy metal gigs. I would like to find a cool place with my brother Sean who does 2nd year Marine Biology at USYD. We would prefer to move into an established sharehouse and have no doubts we would fit well into anywhere we move into.
I'm a graphic design student currently dreading with assignments and pulling all nighter. If you need someone to make you coffee, you know you can count on me. I don't drink coffee so more for you. I'm a fairly neat and tidy person. I respect your space like I respect my elders (I'm asian). Dark humour, Art, Ps4, animals and all of a sudden this feels like a tinder bio. *Insert some cheesy pick up line?* Ahem! With all seriousness, I'm a pretty chill person. I know my boundaries and I'm keen to make flat-mates! And yes, I can edit your next profile picture although you're already good looking! Thanks <3

20, studying Journalism at UTS and working part-time. Looking for accommodation close to campus with some friendly people. I enjoy socialising but also keep to myself when I have uni work to do.
Hi, my name's James. I'm currently in the middle of a Masters of Architecture degree at UNSW. I'm pretty easy going and enjoy a social house but don't mind keeping to myself also. I'm also a musician (don't worry, I use headphones!). Also enjoy sport, afternoon beverages and just generally hanging out. I'm looking for a place to move into over the next week or two to stay in over the summer while I'm working. Hope to hear from you!
I'm looking for somewhere new to call 'home', with an easy-going full-time working professional who's got their life sorted. Either moving into somewhere new or renting a room & bathroom are ideal. I like to think I'm friendly, welcoming, personable and an agreeable kind of guy with my my head on right and my 'stuff' together. I work full time in digital media as a journalist, so I'm pretty busy at work during most days of the week as well as many nights of the week, so I tend to stay out of anyone's hair. My weekends are my own and I love down time spent relaxing at home, visiting galleries or beaching, going out and to parties, Netflix binging or watching movies, reading and trying to not kill my plants. I'm very clean and tidy, don't take up a lot of space and pretty open minded, like nice wine and fancy cheese and can hold a good conversation. I have a massive soft spot for dogs and all animals so if you have a pet, I'd be stoked. I do drink, I do not take drugs and I am also gay, if that matters.
Hellllooo :) I'm looking for a place to stay from around the 24th Oct although I can sort out temporary accomodation for a week or so if the right place comes available a little later. About me.. Well I grew up in Malta and have been in Aus a year so far but am intending to stick around for at least another full year .. Longer if some wonderful design company would like to sponsor me eventually. I'm house trained so won't leave a trail of destruction and share house trained so will pay my bills on time and all that. I smoke but not too much and wouldn't ever do that inside anyway I'm chatty and social but not loud and don't get offended whenever anyone tells me to stop talking.. Which after a little wine you will most definitely feel the need to.. But have my quiet days where I'll retreat to my room and read/paint/watch wierd documentaries about things I never thought I wanted to learn about.. I'm also attempting to learn to hula hoop so feel free to point and laugh when I ungracefully wobble around I'm 29 and 3/4s and an Interior Architect so can understand quite a bit about houses should anything go wrong and need fixing.. Thought I'd throw that in as its something I can bring to the table.. Also love cooking and have been raised on some lovely Mediterranean dishes which I'll happily cook up for everyone once in a while :)
I'm a 26 year old full-time graphic designer. I have a beauiful Kelpie X named Erik; he's house-trained, obedience trained, gets plenty of exercise and stays outdoors when I'm at work. My hobbies/interests include (but not exclusive to) reading, sci-fi, mountain biking, art, cheesy horror films, roller derby and the big outdoors. Looking for a relaxed, friendly household, I've been living in sharehouses for the past 8 years, so very good at cleaning up after myself! Would love to hear from you.
I'm from Western Australia so if I had a roommate that wouldn't mind going places/showing me around on weekends (although it's not necessary) that would be fun! I'm moving to Sydney to start my career in media buying/advertising. I am very respectful of peoples space - I like socialising but I also like being alone so I can fit in with my housemate(s) personality. I like to be clean and tidy but I'm not OCD about it haha!
Im 24 from Sydney studying a bachelor of composition and music production at A.I.M and I produce and record music mainly hiphop/rnb/trap sometimes dance etc and have my own recording studio so i hope you like music.. also i dont smoke cigarettes BUT i love my greens.
