Hello there...I am a 50 year old professional woman - I am quiet, neat / clean up after myself, organised and mostly prefer doing my own thing in my spare time. I work monday to friday part-time and enjoy walking, yoga and tennis. I like cooking, spend most evenings in - happy to have a chat in front of the tv or keeping myself busy - I am writing a book (ask me about it 😋) . I have grownup daughters that may pop in for dinner every now and then but not a party animal and not looking for a party house. I love animals and nature and like people who are respectful to their environments. Happy to help where-ever I can...
I am clean, friendly and generally keep to myself although I don’t mind good conversation and having a laugh. I am mindful of privacy and always considerate of those I live with. I’m pretty cruisy and not uptight so I don’t mind living with social people as long as common curtesy goes both ways. Sometimes I work weird and long hours as I’ am self employed so I can work from home, a cafe or at my clients office. Next year I will be looking to take on studies so I need to down size. Currently I live and work in the city plus I can travel a bit so I would need to be close to a train station. Yes I am a smoker but I’m also very conscious about smell and cleanliness so that wouldn’t be a problem I just need a balcony. I do go out and enjoy a party but don’t worry I won’t bring that home with me, my partner and sister do visit me from time to time and will spend a night but I am very respectful of others space and mindful of noise. If you have any questions please feel free to message me :)

I am a 25 year old engineer (with social skills 😮😂) looking to move to a more happening park of Sydney as I love exploring and trying new things! I'm a relaxed guy, who respects peoples personal space. At the same time I am keen to hang out, have a beer/coffee and chat about anything. I am a pretty clean and organised guy. I lived in the same room with two other guys for a semester in uni, and none of us killed each other. So I must be pleasant to live with haha. I have a solid full-time job as a Civil Engineer so you don't have to worry about me not paying rent on time. I usually work 7-5 Mon-Friday, with the occasional night shifts. I like to cook, mainly when I can collaborate with others, and I make some bomb ass pancakes 🥞. I'm really into my sports, mainly football (soccer) and basketball, also a bit into tennis and golf. I love to adventure and experience as much of my city as possible, such as live gigs, new parks, cafes, and bars, and also like to roadtrip when I can, my car is kitted out for it! If you've made it to the end, congratulations, I hope I seem like a good housemate, I think I will be! 😊
The unit is in a nice unit block just off New Canterbury Road, is walking distance to both Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Hill light rail/train station, buses to Newtown, the CBD and Burwood stop within 2 minutes of the unit and the complex has a pool as well!
Come and live with the most wonderful housemates ever!! I have to move to Melbourne for work and have to leave the best house :(... But my loss is your gain! Move in date is the weekend of the 10th of November. The rent is $230 per week (not including bills) bills average around $60 per month (for gas, electricity, water and internet). Bond is 4 weeks rent ($920) This is for a single person, no couples sorry! It is a non-smoking house, and no pets. The room: the dimensions of the room are 3.5m x 2.7m. You can easily fit a double/queen, wardrobe, draws, etc. (currently there is a queen bed, cupboard, tall boy and clothes rack in the room). The room Isn't the biggest but the house spaces belong to everyone and would hope you would be chilling in the common spaces most of the time anyway! :) The House: This cute Federation 3 bedroom home is in between Hurlstone Park station (5 mins )and Dulwich Hill Station (10 mins). It is also a 7 min walk to the Light Rail and 428 Bus. the house has: - living room - with large smart TV - a massive backyard with outdoor seating - kitchen with a gas stove and all the essentials - a dining room (used currently as a breakfast nook and plant room) - a bathroom with a huge bath and separate shower - outdoor toilet in case of emergency There are wooden floorboards throughout except for the kitchen, dining and bathroom which is tiled. We have a massive smart TV with stan, Netflix and Optus Fetch. Also Unlimited Cable internet About Us: We are looking for a third person to live with Caitlin (a.k.a Gigi) and Mel. They are both in their later 20s - early 30s. Gigi is currently neck deep in her Phd, and Mel works as a disability care worker. They both are very lovely and up for hanging out, cooking, watching anything, having a glass of something, pottering in the garden or going on adventures! They want someone who is chilled but is happy with a sociable house (not crazy parties but dinners and friends over!). If you are interested please message me a bit about yourself (and comment on the post to let me know) and we can organise a time for you to come check out the house and meet Gigi and Mel.
Very laid back, considerate and generally pretty quiet guy. Those are all ideal tenant/roommate things right? During the work week I will like to lay low BUT I will try not to be a hermit MON-THURS if yours is a social house. Some wine and conversation will never go astray. Definitely up for fun on the weekends, going out, movie-nights, drinks etc but like I said I tend to like my space too..
Hi, I'm a first year uni student looking for a room close to the University of Sydney (Camperdown campus) to rent, I don't drive, looking for a place with a 30 minute or less one way travel on public transport. I love animals and would prefer a place that’s pet friendly so I could get a rescue dog, or better yet a place that already has pets. Contact me anytime and I'll try to get back to you ASAP, thanks.
Hey hey, I’m on the hunt for a new home! I'm looking for a fun, social sharehouse somewhere in the Newtown/Marrickville area with people around my age (I’m 25). I'd like a place where everyone is mates and hangs out, but I can also respect other peoples space! I'm friendly, easy-going and social. I’m always up for hangs and chats, a trip to the pub/a game of pool or adventures around the city. Im currently living in Stanmore but my lease runs out soon. I'm wanting somewhere $250 or under but can stretch up to $280 for the right place and I am looking for somewhere I can stay long-term. I also have my own bedroom furniture that I will be bringing with me. I don’t really mind how many housemates I have, but I do have a preference for larger share houses. Let me know if you have anything!
Hi I’m Hayley :) I’m currently in the hills area but I work in the CBD so I'd like to live somewhere a bit closer to shorten the commute. I’m easy to live with and am looking for some similar housemates. I’m very clean, easy going, and pretty low key. Friendly housemates are preferred. I do need somewhere to park but I'm not fussed if it's secure or street parking. Feel free to contact me if you have a room coming up which might suit.
So, I'm Stéphane, from Belgium, 27yo. I arrived in Aussie 3 months ago after a year and half in NZ. I'm working full time for Greenpeace and also doing lots of work for UNHCR 🙂 I'm a super joyful person, passionate about travels, anthropology and ice climbing. I'm now looking for a friendly vibe place to move in and feel like a home.
Big, sunny unfurnished room in Dulwich Hill with floorboards and high ceilings in our lovely home! $160 per week (available at the end of October.) We are looking for someone nice, responsible, clean and friendly to move into our sharehouse/home with us 3 friends and our 2 sweet little dogs. We are in our late 20’s, early 30’s so would ideally find a flatmate of a similar age. We are looking for somebody to join in our friend-family vibes, someone who can have a laugh and a good chat! We have reduced the rent in return for the flatmate helping with the dogs by being home two nights a week and feeding the dogs breakfast the following mornings, plus taking them on a short walk around the block that morning. Our dogs are small rescue dogs (both around 10 years old) who are very friendly and well behaved. Any potential flatmate must love dogs and be willing to have dogs sleep in their room twice a week. We are also open if you would like to walk the dogs to the park sometimes, but that isn’t part of the rent arrangement! Our house has three big bedrooms at the front and one small bedroom out the back. The room available is the 2nd biggest room, at the front of the house looking out onto the balcony. We have a spacious, homely living room and dining room, a leafy, sunny backyard with hills hoist, bbq, outdoor table, compost and veggie patch, and a sunny front yard with table and chairs too. We also have a big fridge and washing machine. Sadly we don’t have a bath, but we have a nice hot shower! We live across the road from buses to the City, Newtown, Bondi, Burwood and Campsie, and an 8 minute walk to Dulwich Hill train and light rail station. We live a few minutes away from the Dulwich Hill shop strip with great cafes and shops, and a 10 minute walk to the busy Marrickville Rd/Illawarra Rd shopping/eating strip. Ideally, our new flatmate would be home sometimes in the day so the dogs have a bit more company, but we are flexible with this. We often cook for each other and have friends around, and the house always has good, welcoming vibes. Any flatmate MUST be completely LGBT friendly (living with two women and a transguy), and ideally vegetarian or at least willing not to eat meat at home. We are open to a couple if you are exceptional (hehe) but would have to discuss a fairer split of the rent.
I'm 25, originally from Macau and just about to start my Masters degree in nursing at Usyd. I've been living in Sydney for the past six years now, but try to travel as often as I can. I work night shifts in hospitality between a restaurant and a bar about 4-5 nights a week, depending on how busy the season is. On my day offs, I enjoy staying active by training maybe four days a week or going to the beach. I also enjoy staying home to cook and read or netflix. Occasionally, I'll join contortion or fire eating workshops but will never practice at home! I am clean and respect other people's privacy, not after a party house but wouldn't mind sharing meals and drinks with housemates from time to time. OK with pets
Private bedroom furnished built in wardrobe in a big , clean and very confortable unit. You will be sharing only with me the whole unit. It has internal laundry, a balcony and a massive kitchen with plenty of storage and plenty cupboards. The bathroom has a bathtub 🛀 as well, so you can have a relaxing bath after a long day of work 😉. Only 7 minutes walking to the train station , and 2 min walking to bus stop and the New Light Rail, only 20 min away to the city in public transport , 2 min walking to the shops, banks restaurants and cafes in the marrickville road. Parking spot available.
I'm a 25 year old PR professional looking to move closer to work. When at home, Im normally listening to music, binge watching YouTube and shows, and gaming. I'm super tidy and will mostly keep to myself, but would love to have dinner and drinks together. I'm also vegan and would love to cook plant-based meals for flatmates! When not at home, I love going to markets, eating out and generally spending time outside/in nature! Since gaming is a huge hobby, I'm looking for a place with a strong internet connection (damn Sydney), as I also livestream on Twitch from time to time. Anywhere with access to NBN is a huge bonus and I'm more than happy to chip in for the majority of the internet bill!
I'm a 22 year old working in social services in the disability and mental health sector with a passion for community and advocacy. I'm relatively quiet during the working week but really like socialising on the weekend, even if that just means having some snacks in the sun or making a pot of tea and some cake and staying in. I'm a huge advocate for a couple beers/ciders in the evening during some trash TV or sport (with the odd Ubereats whenever I'm feelin' a little fancy) I do have an elderly pup - her name is Cleo and she is a toy breed shih ztu which means no shedding AND great for allergies!) She's completely house trained and due to the nature of her disabilities (partially blind and deaf) she's both quiet and placid, but can also get really playful and social once she's comfortable!
Graduating from civil engineering and finance at UQ this semester. I will be working full time in the finance industry next year, moving from Brisbane in feb 2018. Looking for someone who is clean to look for a 2 bedroom apartment in the city within 15min walk or few stations away to wynyard station Or potentially somewhere along the train line to Bondi, I love the beach! I will be hardly home because of work and extra activities, I enjoy socialising but also respect personal space. I love hip hop trap and RnB, so you know that will be my jam, Gym, dance and good food. I can cook :), and chilli is my best friend.
Hi there - I'm Treena! I moved back to my hometown of Adelaide 6 months ago (for my studies and to purchase an apartment) and am coming back to Sydney! I would like to team up with people in a place (as I have a lot of cool retro furniture and a fridge/washing machine to contribute) or into an existing place (and I'll store my stuff). About me: I lived in Sydney for 4 years, both in Redfern and Newtown and study and work at UTS (PhD). I enjoy catching up with friends, attending cultural events, checking out the new bars, having a night out in Newtown from time to time, and spending time in Adelaide every few months. I'm not a fan of the gym, but love playing netball and want to get back into that. I love old music (50s-80s), retro and vintage fashion and design and heading to vintage dance class. I study from UTS, but also occasionally from home and coffee shops. I am both extroverted and introverted, but lack energy levels so tend to get introverted, less talkative and nap. I am clean and tidy and have been living by myself for the past 2 years and would love to live in a share house with 2-3 other people.
A laid-back, easygoing and clean guy looking for a private room, ideally not too far from USYD. I'm 24, from Hong Kong, currently a full-time law student. I've got a pretty heavy study load, so don't have to worry about me throwing parties and making a mess etc. Though I won't mind joining roommate's party once in a while. Also, respect for personal space and privacy is essential, but I'm up for sharing a few drinks in spare time or chatting about random stuff, like the last season of GOT or whatever, lol. I enjoy the idea of living at a 'home', not just some motel where ppl comes and goes.
Hi! I'm a data scientist working weekdays 9-6 with lots on in the evenings: choir, rock climbing, swing dancing... I don't mind going out for a party or live music, but I like to chill at home with a book or Netflix. My superpower is seeking out good coffee, and I'm pretty clean & tidy, non-smoker, happy to live with pets, vegetarian, and travel a lot!
Hoping to find somewhere to accommodate both myself and my book collection! I work as a Project Officer in the inner west. I’m easy going, tidy and responsible (i.e. I clean up after myself!) Up for a chat or a glass of wine after work. I’ll be studying part time in the coming months as well.
Room with a balcony and built-in wardrobe. In a 2-storey warehouse conversion with 3 bathrooms, shared shower and bath. Large open living space, with front patio. All living-kitchenware supplied and all utilities: aircon, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Nice street with a cafe just up the road and loads of places which deliver, only a few minutes drive from the shops of Marrickville and Summer Hill. Minutes walk from light rail and bus stops. A 5 min light rail trip to Dulwich Hill train station or a 20 minute walk.
