I am a friendly UQ medical student. I get along well with housemates and I am good with doing my fair share of chores. I keep clean and tidy and I'm not noisy. I always pay my rent on time. I keep busy with school, hospital training, and research. At the same time, I do enjoy a few beers on weekends and a good chat. I'm open to watching a movie or playing a board game from time to time.
Hi, I'm working full time as a business analyst, clean and respectful, saving for buying my own property at the moment, would love to find an alike person or persons to share a house with a fully fenced large yard. My puppy, although only 4 months old, is very smart, has been toilet trained, friendly to any human and dog or cat, calm and quiet, but always love a play with you. I would much prefer a bedroom with own bathroom if it's in a shared house.
The house is in a great location: 4 min walk to Boggo Road Bus Interchange 5 min walk to Park Road Train Station 20 min walk to UQ 30 min walk to South Bank ~~ Rent is actually $141.25 a week ~~ The room that we have to offer is really big. It's actually two rooms, the first one is 3.0m x 3.6m and the other one, which is adjacent, is 3.0m x 4.5m. That's a grand total of 24.3 square meters of floor space. The second room is only accessible via the first so that why they're listed as one room. The second room does have a pipe running down the side of one of the walls but it's kind of artsy. The second room also has a ceiling fan which is nice too. It's probably the nicest room in the house. We bought all the appliances we needed when we moved in so the rest of the house will be fully furnished. We have gas heating and we cook with gas which is alright. There is a nice bit of lawn out the back and a couple of sheds that are mostly unused. There isn't a garage so we park in the backyard. We have a washing up scheduled and share the cleaning around but it's far from strict or anything. We pay for gas, electricity and internet on top of rent. We pay $100 a month for unlimited internet, it's real fast for our area and it comes with a limited version of Foxtel. Or last bills for gas and electricity were $222 and $396 for the three of us for the quarter. That comes to about 23.5 per person per week for all the bills as one.
I work full-time in Woolloongabba at the Translational Research Institute. I'm friendly and easy going, clean and tidy. I am generally quiet and like to keep to myself but always happy to be social. I have a well trained cavoodle and a sun conure that I spend most of my home time with. I like to play games and watch movies in my down time if I'm not out with friends or walking my dog.
I am relaxed and easy to get along with. I love spending time out doors and in a climbing gym however tend to spend most of my time studying Engineering at UQ. I am not much of a drinker but still enjoy socialising with people. I am always excited to meet new people and make new friends. I eat health and enjoy any form of exercise.
I'm a relaxed guy who enjoys surfing, making art, and doing yoga. I'm studying architecture full time at QUT. I don't like to have late nights very often. I'm working part time as a construction labourer so I get going early and finish usually by about 4pm. I'm very independent and easy to get along with and I'm open to all kinds of people with all kinds of interests. I love to cook but I cook mainly vegetarian food so if youre someone who also doesnt mind to cook and enjoys vego food, thatd be sweet.
I've just finished a science degree and am taking a year off to work full time and save up some money. When I'm not slinging out coffees at work, I'm your typical 20 year old - I love going out for brunch, binge watching Grey's Anatomy and long walks. Oh, and my preferred methods of procrastination are baking and cleaning, making me the ideal housemate :)
Hi, I'm Salome - I'll be starting my Master's next year and I work part-time at an outdoor store. I like trail running, hiking, gardening and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I'm a fairly quiet person, but I like to share a relaxed meal or a drink and I'm always up for a chat over a cup of tea. I would love to live in a house with a garden (or potential for one) with respectful and friendly housemates.
I'm a 23 year old female about to start an engineering degree at UQ. I am easy going, tidy and get along with pretty much everyone. I would describe myself as well rounded, and lucky-to-be well traveled. I love anything and everything outdoors, rock climbing and hiking more than anything else. I am environmentally focused and would love to find a household with the same values. I am focused (having already finished a Degree), but also enjoy living with people I can socialize with. I have a bike so no need for a car space. Looking for a great house to live in, close to the university and maybe even somewhere with garden if I'm lucky! I am currently overseas and don't get back until 24th of January, so am looking for somewhere with availability from that time.
I am a social and outgoing person who loves to have a conversation or two but am also respectful of peoples privacy. I pull my weight with the house work and am considerate in leaving the shared facilities in a tidy state.
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
Hi my name is Emma and I will be a fourth year pharmacy student at UQ next year. I also work part time in a pharmacy. I enjoy cooking and baking foods and enjoy sharing a glass of wine or cup of tea with people. Also, I do enjoy my own space and time to myself and likewise respect the space of others. Myself and a friend, who is also a fourth year pharmacy student next year (she works part time at one of the hospitals) are looking to team up with one or two other people for a 3 or 4 bedroom house to rent or for two bedrooms in a share house. My current lease ends in the middle of January so I'm hoping to move sometime between the 6th-22nd of January.
We're a young married couple relocating to Brisbane on 23.01.2018 We are both working professionals. Looking for an ensuite/bedroom with own bathroom for 250aud (max) inclusive of all bills. If however you are looking to team up, we're all ears! We're clean and tidy, and a believer in personal space. We love animals too, so if you've got a furkid we don't mind helping out with the pets.
Hi there! I'm Courtney, 27 years old and moving to Brisbane (from Sydney) in 2018 to start a Master of Psychology at the University of Queensland. Hoping to find a nice home of like minded people who can introduce me to Brisbane! At home I'm pretty chilled and very conscientious. I imagine my life in Brisbane will be fairly busy balancing Masters and work, so don't think I will be spending all that much time at home. It's quite unusual for me to stay out too late at night as I cycle early in the mornings, but don't worry I'm very quiet and never wake anyone up! I'm looking for a room in a similar type of household where everyone is friendly and and has a laugh, though a party household isn't really what I'm after. I like cycling and sport in general, movies or a good tv series, reading and of course, having a couple of beers/coffees and eating with friends and housemates. Let me know if you think I could be a good fit in your household!
Am moving up to Brisbane to study at UQ. Will be kept busy enough with uni, sport and work to keep me occupied, but also love having a drink and socialising in my downtime. Very easy going, respectful of others space, organised, clean and tidy.
My name is Isabel, and I study engineering at the University of Queensland. I'm originally from Sydney, and have been living in Brisbane for the last year. I'm looking for a place where I can relax and make friends with my housemates, while respecting privacy and personal space. I'm not a particularly noisy person, and always keep my space tidy, but I don't mind others getting a bit louder on weekends (and enjoy having friends over when it's reasonable). My hobbies include cooking and bushwalking. I also have a pet dog, a 5 year old Border Collie named Jago. He's extremely friendly and well behaved, loves people of all ages, and is fully trained (house trained, currently lives with a cat, knows basic tricks, and heels off-leash). I walk him daily, and having him around is super important to me - so a fenced garden would be a requirement. He goes indoors at the moment, but has been a fully outdoor pet in the past.

Easy going person. Very important to live with clean and tidy people. Love making friends and socializing. I have experience of living away from home and sharing stuff with people, so I'm confident having morality and ability to make compromises is important. Also, I respect others privacy and value my own.
