I'm from Singapore and have just graduated from uni in the UK. I'm in Brisbane to do a lab attachment at UQ for 2 months. Would love to meet and chat with people from Queensland or around the world for that matter :) i rather enjoy singing, hiking, nature and generally exploring new places!
I'm an easy going professional working in town who likes to relax and unwind in the evenings over anything from a beer & good conversation to a trip to the gym, an episode of GoT or a good book. I'm clean without being obsessive and understand what tact is, though it might shock my family if they were to ever observe me practice some. I am good at respecting peoples space and generally don't intrude without an invitation. I also come bearing free avocados as I have a small hobby farm outside of town where I spend some weekends. Regarding my move date, I am flexible but sometime before December is preferable.
Hi! My name is Mia. I live in Sydney at the moment, but I have recently accepted an offer to work in Brisbane as of the beginning of February next year. I am looking for a place to live, I'm also interested in team-ups. I am a clean and friendly person, and I love watching movies/TV shows in my spare time! I am generally a quiet person, but I enjoy socialising in the evenings and on the weekends with a good glass of red :)
Recently got back from overseas and looking for a new place for me and my dog. I have a 3 year old cattle dog cross, her name is Flame and she is completely house trained and very friendly. Looking for a laid back house with housemates who like to be a little social. I'm very respectful of privacy & personal space. Would ideally like to form friendships with my future housemates. I work full time Mon-Fri and am usually out on weekends at the coast with my dog or having drinks with mates.
I am quite, tidy, respectful, have a sense of humour and enjoy good conversation. I enjoy music, books and cinema; everything from the latest Marvel blockbuster to indie arthouse. I am a bit of a nerd so comics and sci-fi are my thing but I'm also interested in a few sports. I take everyone as I find them and don't care your race, sexual orientation etc., it's all fine by me. I am 49-years-old and on a disability pension (advanced osteoporosis). I’m mobile but one set of stairs is my limit. If you live in a unit above the second story I’m not your guy. I require an unfurnished room as I come with a bed, desk etc.. I also have quite a few tools so somewhere with under house storage would be preferable. I am not a smoker but I do vape, which is my only vice. I currently live in an all male household but would prefer a mixed one or one where the men living there understand how to keep a tidy home. Finally I have a five-year-old Labrador X who is happiest playing fetch, receiving pats or curled up at your feet.
This older studio apartment is perfect for a couple wanting to get their own space, or even friends who are happy sharing a room. There are 2 large rooms, 1 coming off the kitchen (which is brand new with gas stove) and another in between the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment also has access to a very large backyard which would be perfect to have a sit out under a tree during summer... The apartment WILL come fully furnished with lounges, TV, queen bed and linen, desk, wardrobes etc. The kitchen will also fully functional with pots and pans, knives and forks. The location is great either for UQ uni students or those who want to be close by to the good time that is west end, with both being about a 20mins walk away! Please note it is a studio apartment - not a 2 bedroom unit
Hey all! We have a room for $150 room available in our Dutton Park sharehouse! 5min walk to the UQ Uni bridge, crossing the river to the University of Queensland! Out the back there is a concrete terrace providing an awesome chill place for after work/study and there’s a nice big grassy back yard. There’s a bus stop 200m from the front door, and plenty of parking on the street if you have a car. If you've got your head screwed on straight, can pay rent on time and keep a tidy life, this house is for you!! There 2 guys and a girl living at the place at the moment who are all at Uni. They’re all very easy to get along with and keep the house pretty tidy! The best way to get a feel for the place and the peeps living there is to come say hi! The house and is fully furnished ready to go and the room can come with everything you could possibly need as well. Queen bed, pillows, blanket etc etc. There is also a large pool table in the dining room now which is pretty sweet, with there still being heaps of room in the lounge room and dining area. Internet is 1000GB of sweet sweet fiber per month. $150 includes all bills! Singles or couples welcome – the house can easily accommodate 5 people as there are 2 toilets and plenty of room in general. If you're interested in having a looksie, PM me and tell me a bit about yourselves and interests and don't forget to mention when you'd like to move in! :) Bond is 4 weeks. Might be able to accept a few weeks rent at the start if you can’t afford 4 weeks however this will be my call once I meet you and see how much of a legend you are. Poice!
Do you want a housemate who love cooking, cleaning and score an adorable doggo?! I'm the flatmate for you then! I have been nannying for the same family in Woolloongabba for the past two and a half years and am a dedicated full-time social work student. I like to generally keep to myself during with week but enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine with my roomies. My furbaby is a small Cockalier named Seb, he is extremely well behaved and will soon be an accredited therapy dog so he is fully house trained and loves people and other dogs (he likes to be in the garden during the day so backyard is essential). I am happy to live with people who like to do their own thing or come along to markets, do yoga etc, I am easy going. If you want an adorable pup and clean and tidy housemate - I look forward to meeting you!
Hello, I'm preferably looking for a decent sized 1 or 2 b.r. unit / apartment, or duplex style set up where house is divided into 2. Cheers, Zac B.
Hey I'm Nat! I'm 25 years old, from Melbourne and am going to be in Brisbane between early November and late April playing football. I'm very laid back, clean and tidy, like a chat but also keep to myself a lot. I won't be up late partying or anything like that - training will be six days per week so that will take up most of my afternoons and weekends, and I will be travelling some weekends for games. I'm looking for a place that is happy to have my dog come along as well so would need a backyard and air conditioning in the house. Hugo's a mini groodle and an inside/outside dog, loves people and other dogs. Shoot me a message if this sounds good to you!
Im social and love being part of local activities, looking for a flat mate who is similar. I am looking to share a place, because i enjoy living with a friend more than living on my own. I am a full time (australian) interior designer working in Brisbane. I have just returned from a month travel overseas and am looking for somewhere to settle. I have a small and very cute dog, so a courtyard or small back yard in a must. I am also looking for a place with a shed/garage that i can create a studio for woodworking projects and painting. Non smoking please. I like to be out doing things so am often out of the house during the week. I love to cook and have friends over for (small) dinner parties. Hiking, kyaking, painting, design, coffee and great food are just some of the things i enjoy. If it sounds like we might get along i would love to hear from you. I have a couple of weeks left on my current lease but am looking to find the right place asap. Alisa
I’m a young professional looking for some temporary accommodation. I work 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday and I’m out most weekends with activities, markets and hobbies so I’m afraid you’ll only have me for dinners and most nights. I also need the room to be furnished, I’m also a smoker (outside). I’m a big cook and baker (plus I love cleaning!) so prepare to have feasts! I’m a very happy for you to have pets, people over, parties. I’m a very relaxed and laid back person and I could easily fit within any lifestyle.
Hi Everyone, I'm a Sunny Coast guy working in Brisbane Monday to Friday. Aside from work I spend most of my time training somewhere either on the river or running the streets somewhere. I'm easy going like all types of music, like to cook like a few drinks and enjoy being social but no party person. I like tidy in shared spaces and being surrounded by respectful fun people. You will not see me most weekends as I have a home on the Sunny Coast and I love to surf. If you think i have a place that you might think i might be interested in please do not hesitate to contact me but if your house is on a main road or on a railway line that will not be of interest to me. Thanks

Studying Nutritional science and changing into nursing and paramedic science next year. I work part-time at Queensland rail travel in the catering unit as a catering support coordinator handling all the nutritional needs, food safety and logistics for the catering and food production side of the travel trains. I am social and hardly ever home as my life is stupidly busy, I sometimes travel for work on my uni holidays in Queensland. I love rock climbing and hiking I hardly drink but do love to go out with friends and socialise I am a quiet housemate and find myself studying a lot. I play soccer and netball socially and do love to play basketball (another tall person playing basketball)
PLEASE NOTE: I’m currently away on rural placement and will be moving to Brisbane in November. I'm happy to find a place during October and slowly move in but you won't see much of me until late November as I'll be back and forth! I'm a post-grad medical student/part time employee looking for accommodation for at least 6 months before starting my final year of uni. I’ll be on placements around Brisbane for the first 6 months of the year then commuting to the Gold Coast on weekdays for the next 3 months, but planning to live and work in Brisbane long term. I'm a bit of a clean freak and reliable. I like to keep fit in my spare time (gym/running/yoga/hiking) and dabble in some photography and culinary adventures (will probably make you food if you let me!). Would love to share my interests with you if you're keen on a mid-week yoga session or the odd weekend day trip. Otherwise I tend to keep myself pretty busy so can keep to myself quite easily if that suits you better. Would prefer to share with like minded students or professionals. Some form of on or off street parking would be ideal as would my own bathroom, but happy to share the latter with 1-2 others if need be. I have my own bedroom furniture which I prefer to use, but can store this if I find the right place. I also have some small kitchen appliances which I am happy to share. Would definitely be interested in finding a place with someone if that works out best. If you have something which might work feel free to give me a buzz!
I’m a quiet person to live with but I am easy to get along with, enjoy a good chat. I will be working full time so I will be out of the house the majority of the week. On weekends I enjoy going for a few social drinks or doing activities, hiking, beach, road trip etc.
Hi there! I'm a full-time uni student at UQ just looking for somewhere to stay for the duration of my degree. I'm friendly but I like to keep to myself. I study at uni a lot so I'm rarely home during the day and on many occasions I study into the night as well. I always clean up after myself and I'd like to say I'm pleasant to live with :)
We are two young professionals who are currently looking for another person to move into a new rental property with us; we are both outgoing individuals who enjoy a drink or two while socialising with friends. We are looking for someone who is laid-back and loves some banter. While most of the time we are down for a chat or drink, we also enjoy some personal time and quiet weekends occasionally. We like to keep a clean house but aren't super tedious about it. Seb - I'm a recently qualified electrician who works down the coast; I'm outgoing and loves adventures. Max - I'm currently studying law & finance at uni while working full time at a bank; I enjoy socialising, getting out and about, and FIFA.
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you! Note: My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently researching in China but will be back in Brissie from October 15th
Hi folks, Social, well educated, good conversationalist; however I work hard so sometimes I'd just like to retreat to my own private space - I enjoy my privacy and will respect others' too. I'm a very clean person and would like my flatmates to enjoy a clean home too...not that I'll clean up after you, just hoping you're good to clean up after yourself. I'm used to a no shoe household, but if that's not your thing, all good, I'll limit the no-shoe zone to my bedroom. As I say, I work hard and quite often long hours, so rarely at home...the best kind of flatmate :) If you have pets, that's cool. Happy to be a fur parent by proxy.
Good Morning, my Name is Lisa, I'm from France, 24 years old. I'm working full time in West End. I'm clean, quiet and easy going. I like to enjoy my free time with my friends ! I love cook, play video game, watch Netflix. I looking for MY OWN ROOM with king bed. My maximum price per week is $170. I looking for a room from 20 October. thanks you.
I'm a PhD student at UQ looking to relocate somewhere closer to the West End. I'm French/New Zealander and have been living in Brisbane for about 18 months, but I'd like to be closer to where all my friends are! Most days I'm fairly busy with Uni (I'm on a full scholarship so financially stable) but I like to work from home once or twice a week. I study ecology, so I'm pretty big into animals and nature and all that stuff. Speaking of, I've got my best buddy with me, a lovely short-haired dog named Montgomery. He's well house-trained and loves people, but medium-size so I am looking for a place with high fences so he can chill in the garden without any bother :) He loves to play with the ball and is a great cuddler, and I walk him every day so he's nice and quiet when at home. When I'm not working, I like to chill out, go to the markets, cook some good food, do a bit of yoga and the like. I'm friendly and easy-going, I do love a good night out from time to time but most evenings I'm pretty quiet and I also appreciate a bit of privacy and alone-time. I recently got a car so hopefully I'll be away camping or at the beach most weekends :D My moving-in dates are fairly flexible, I just need to give my current flatmates 2-weeks notice. I'm not back in Brisbane till the 22nd of September though, so I can't view any flats till after then.
