Hi! We're a small group of housemates looking to find a new place together. I (Maggie) am a student studying biology at UOW, and I work part-time in retail. Nolwenn and Andrea are a couple from France! Andrea is studying a PhD in Maths at UOW, and Nolwenn works with children. We all enjoy hanging out together, and socialising in front of the tv, or over a glass of wine. We'd love to move into a place with another housemate who also enjoys a good chat. We're very clean and tidy, we have a lot of respect for our housemates and strive to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. We love being outdoors, and would enjoy a place that had a garden for us to use. I have one pet dog, Elara, and a medical assistance dog in training, Rupert. Rupert is not a pet. Both dogs met the highest hygiene standards, they are extremely well trained, well behaved, and quiet. We would like something long term, feel free to get in touch if you might be interested!
My house is a little retreat, 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops. It is in a set of townhouses and the neighbourhood is a close community. I am in the process of getting NBN set up. I have a cat who is 17 years old so won't bother anyone.
I am a professional male. I'm originally from Wollongong and have just moved back after 12 years away, to start a new job. I am looking for a flatshare short term (min 2 months) while I settle into the job and find a place long term. I am neat and tidy. Enjoy keeping fit and getting outdoors. I am social but respect space.
Private room for rent in ground floor, 2 bedroom unit. Location is in East Corrimal, 750m from Corrimal train station and directly outside the unit is a number 4 bus stop. Just 1.3km to the beach. The property is nicely shaded by some lovely big trees, and the breeze comes off the ocean right in through to bedroom windows, so it will be a really lovely sanctuary in summer time out of the heat. Room is 3.6m x 2.6m with BIW. I have a single bed if you’d like it, otherwise BYO larger bed. I have two indoor/outdoor cats, that will want to be your friend, sit on your lap, and generally act like they own the place. Not a party house I’m afraid people, it's in a small block of units so any excessive noise would be unacceptable and get me in trouble off my neighbors. Friends and partners welcome though, people staying over is fine, I have a number of friends that travel so would myself have mates to stay on the couch on occasion too. Couples welcome, pets such as cats and dogs not compatible, my two girls don't play well with others I'm afraid. But if you have small pets you'd keep in your room they’d be welcome. Washing machine in the bathroom, with clothes line out the back.
I am moving from Dunedin, New Zealand, having completed an honours degree in biomedical science at the University of Otago. I have a lot of experience flatting, and I am looking for other mature students or working young adults who are social, to flat with. I will be studying a masters degree at UOW. ***Moving in JANUARY :)
Hi, my names Leah. I am 21, working full time and studying part time so I am quite busy during the week, but my weekends are for socialising and making the most of the outdoors. I am friendly, bubbly, clean and tidy, easy going and up for anything. I have a friendly, well trained, outside dog (Kesha), who loves to play! So I would prefer somewhere with a backyard. Hi! I’m a friendly, plant loving, dwarf lopear owner who is looking for a down to earth, friendly and like-minded person to move in with. I’m a florist who is laid back and easy going, I don’t like confrontation, and prefer to talk about issues in a more conversational way with positive outcomes for both parties. I’d be moving with my small hoard of indoor plants, and my two little bunnies, Moose and Bug. Hello, I am Francesca (Fran, Cesca, Ces, Cooper, Cooop etc) undergraduate student at UOW studying creative arts, majoring in visual arts and design. Currently wasting my money on campus accommodation and looking somewhere cheaper to live. I am from Western Sydney, easy to get along with, relaxed and laid back. I enjoy watching movies, reading non-fiction and adventure books, comics, music, surfing and skateboarding.
Emily and I are both very easy going and a little awkward in photos. We love meeting and getting to know new people. We're both university students and are keen to create a space of our own alongside our potential housemates. We are more than happy to share a room, as well as find a place with our own rooms. We are not big drinkers or into excessive amounts of partying, but we enjoy a drink every now and then, and a shindig or two.
Easy going, respectful, neat and tidy. Looking for a flexible rental for a month or two (maybe more).
The room for rent is a large furnished bedroom with built in robe in the quiet upstairs part of the home. My home is a modern split level brick home with four bedrooms, large double garage (partly converted to a study and lounge area), two bathrooms, large outdoor deck area, great kitchen, dining and lounge area, large grassed yard, entertainment sized spa. Fully air conditioned. My home is in a great area, close to the beach, hotels, shops and easily Wollongong CBD is easily accesdible. I have animals which love company and attention. The entire house is able to be use by my housemate. The home is clean and tidy and contains all the mod cons required.
Hi! I'm a High School English/History teacher and I'm starting my new job in Wollongong, Term 1 2018. I'm moving from Boggabilla - about 6hrs inland on the NSW/Qld border - back to the Illawarra, where I grew up. What would make me a great housemate? I'm an energetic, open-minded, fun-loving professional who loves nothing more than having a glass of wine and chatting about Harry Potter, pop culture, Game of Thrones, good books, philosophy, travel and life. I'm also tidy, responsible and dedicated to my job. On top of this, I have the most INSANELY comfortable lounge suite with chaise, giant recliner and 100% reclining couch. I also come with a gorgeous, house-trained cat, Zelda. My partner, Jon (who is also a teacher) may or may not be moving down at the start of next year too, which could further discount our shared property. My ideal flatmate is someone who would happily cohabitate with a cat, is a non-smoker, is fun and friendly but does not want to throw mid-week parties. Perhaps a mature, graduate student or full-time employee. Bonus if you'll watch the final season of Game of Thrones with me and sing show tunes.
I am 20 years old and have just moved from the Far North Coast of NSW for work. I like surfing, soccer, cricket and footy. I am easy going, clean and I am a great cook.
Super chill and am accepting of all walks and styles of life. Will be a second year nursing student in 2018 so do have to placements which may or may not mean early or late home comings for 4 weeks a semester but i am relatively quiet but may complain of excessive tiredness but hey its a nurses life I am all pet friendly but dont have my own to bring to the table so may baby yours I am happy to cook group dinners if everyone wants to chip in for it (also they tend to be heap youd be surprised) tend to be neat and organised and clean up after myself
I'm extremely open and very funny. I'm skilled in brows, massage, fitness and makeup. I also love running and hiking. Having a boogie on the dancefloor Also has its place in my life. Always happy to have a wine or a beer after a long day. Always up for a chat. Very clean and tidy. Minor OCD.
I'm coming into my second year at uni and need a room to stay in soon for the foreseeable future. I'm easy going, pretty relaxed and love to surf. I'm always keen on fun activities and am super friendly.
Hey guys! I'm a fun and laid back 22 year old who's looking for somewhere to live. I am primarily looking to rent a room, but would be more than happy to team up and find a place with others in Wollongong. I'm a really social person and am always happy to have a chat/laugh and the occasional bottle of wine. Feel free to swing me a message! :)
Hi I'm Teresa. 40+ish Female, easy to get along with, sociable but also respectful of space (yours, mine & ours), working & trying to complete studying. I'm seeking minimum 1yr, accommodation/non-furnished room, with covered off street parking for my motorcycle, and 'if possible' an additional 1.5m x 3m approx...storage space. I do the occasional spirit or wine, enjoy music, movies, cook a few times a week, and work a range of hours: permanent part-time early morning (Mon-Fri) and casual 2-3 evening hours (Wed-Sun). Please message if I could be a likely candidate. Thanks for reading and have a nice day Teresa (:
I'm studying teaching in Sydney, and work in design, looking to move south of Sydney to be closer to the beach and a calmer environment than the big smoke. I'm pretty easy-going, and like to live a fun, social house who also respects each others space when need be. Bonus points if you own a dog!
I am looking for a place to move into late December/early January. I'm currently living in Orange (Central West) but am looking to relocate to the Wollongong region. I love the beach, animals, music and sport. I play the guitar, touch football, rugby union, league and league tag. I'm very independent and have been working full time since completing my HSC. I'm still seeking employment around Wollongong, but have enough savings to pay for accomodation for a while before working. I will always pay rent upfront and on time. I'm respectful, outgoing, tidy and clean. Im also LGBTI orientated (gay). I love to meet new people and am definitely down for a drink or two! Hope to meet my new roommate/s soon! :)
