I am moving from Newcastle, NSW to Adelaide at the end of 2019. I study a Bachelor of Environmental Science & Management at The University of Newcastle; So I am very passionate about the environment and try to be as eco-friendly as possible. In my spare time, I love to watch movies and binge a show or two (always open to new movie suggestions) and I enjoy caring for indoor plants/ gardening! I like to keep my space very neat and tidy but don't mind if people I'm living with are a bit more relaxed with that. You'll notice that I am pretty shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I can chat about anything- especially travel destinations:)
I've recently bought and renovated this 2 bedroom house and am looking for a housemate to join me and fill the 2nd bedroom! It's extremely close to the Edwardstown train station (the trains are electric so quiet), has a huge double automatic garage, freshly polished floorboards, freshly painted walls, fast NBN, entertaining courtyard, secure enclosed front yard and garden, aircon/heating, dishwasher, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, good water pressure, is close to Castle Plaza shopping centre and is almost fully furnished with my retro mid-century furniture! Wardrobe pictured included in the bedroom (if wanted). I'm social but also enjoy my downtime and am not keen on having a party house. Unfortunately i'm allergic to cats and most breeds of dog but i'm close to getting my own (hypoallergenic breed) dog soon!
I am an easy-going and respectful person but having boundaries, self-management and good manners. As well, I am a clean and tidy person who always maintains both personal living space and sharing space hygiene and in order. Currently, I am a casual tutor and a casual assistant researcher in our college at Flinders University after finishing two years' master study of social work. I am looking for a room for myself in advance. I prefer fewer peoples' accommodation with fully-furnitured - a double/queen size bed and a study desk; gas cooking; female housemate is preferred; If possible, the room has its own bathroom will be greater. My maximum budget is $180/week totally (including or excluding bills), if $180 is not enough for paying your rent, please do not contact me, thanks! Additionally, if the moving in date is not mutually available, please do not text me, either. Thanks! In spare time, I love cooking and I do exercises by myself. I probably will reply to you very late but on the same day. Good luck! Regina
Jess, 26, female, Australian. I work part time in the afternoons but I get home pretty early. I'm taking a break from study but will be returning next year to study full time at Flinders. I'm friendly and don't mind socializing but I'm pretty quiet and shy and tend to just play games or watch movies in my room. I like cooking and I'm neat and tidy. I just want a good sized room somewhere comfortable in a convenient location.
Hiyya! I'm open minded, clean/hygenic, caring, pay bills on time (1st thing that should be paid), love a good laugh, am a singer and have geeky hobbies. I'm not a party gal but do like to listen to music or read from home, have friends over (all of my friends are funny, safe, random peeps, most are musicians too :) ) Not too fussed with the genders, age, ethnicity of housemates, just no creeps, duh. I also do not have a car, so close proximity to train and bus stops is important! I'd particularly love to live around the Seaford train line :D I require house mates who are: respectful, egalitarian (or at least don't push their differing views on me), mature/mostly mature xD, good communicators, considerate, clean up after themselves, and aren't too loud. Extras: It'd be nice to become friends with housemates, maybe cook together, watch movies, share music tastes, from time to time - I love alone time though, so this isn't a need, but would be nice :) To support a positive living environment, friendliness and communication is necessary though :) Housing History: I've lived in shared private rentals, in student accommodation buildings, with friends, and with family. Have met and been around diverse people from different cultures, backgrounds. I've been living with a 22&25yo female & male since July of this year, and before that 25yo male and 24 y.o. nb housemate since July 2018. I've also lived in a large (8 story, 38 rooms/floor) student accom. 3 diff friends households at the end of high school until I got into a Music course last year. And ofc with family before that too. I've experienced controlling friendships and housemates, messy housemates, overcrowded housing (a friend who has 5 high functioning autistic siblings and parents :) I stayed with them for a month while house-hunting), and with my family. I know what I like and don't like in a household and in people, so have good, real expectations for safety, living environment, and communication. I love cute things, and am semi into gardening, but I'm a bit clumsy and forgetful, so it's more of a 'when I'm not too busy' type hobby. This year I have been studying a the first year of a bachelor of Arts. - So will be looking for housing with close proximity to the city. Especially along the Seaford train line since ~someone dear to me~ lives down there. (looking for a 6 month lease; I prefer 6 months incase housemates end up being to loopy, not what they say they are etc) xD Hopefully a house around $270 including bills per fortnight. I love plants, animals & the environment too - I'm an avid recycler, so would prefer eco-concious housemates :) Message if you think I sound like a good fit for your household c: Toooodles~
Hi, I’m Dylan, 23 years old, working full-time. I’m easy going, social and tidy. I’ve recently returned back to Adelaide after travelling around Australia in a van! I’m very chill when it comes to living to with others, I’ll always be up to chat or hang out while I’m home but also respectful of everyone’s alone time. If you’re looking someone who can cook up some mean vegan dishes, has a good board game collection or will listen to how shitty your day was, then I’m the room mate for you! Send me a message or give me a call if you have a place or want to know anything else about me! 🙌
My name is Amber I’m 23 years old. I just finished my registered nursing degree and am to start a full time job at the women’s and children’s hospital in Jan. In the meantime over nov and dec I will be working casual at a pharmacy. I am looking to stay close to the hospital for easy travel to work. I have a cat that is 5 months old, he has all immunisations and is de sexed. I am a very social person but also enjoy my own space and time. I will be working shift work hours. Though will hopefully have most weekends to relax and chill :) If there’s anything else you’d like to know just ask!
I'm very easygoing, I don't cause trouble and I keep my noise volume to the minimum. I am organised and of course I'm willing to help with chores around the house when needed. I also respect other people and their space. I have a little pomeranian and he's the sweetest dog ever, he loves people and brings happiness wherever he goes. I'm Mexican so I can speak Spanish and cook traditional dinners every now and then. I'm an introvert so I wouldn't throw parties, doesn't mean I wouldn't join one if it was happening right where I live though. I'm not a student at the moment, I work part time as a video editor and photographer in South Plympton so finding a room around there would be ideal.
Hello, my name is Roland, I'm just looking for a place where I can rest and study without too many distractions. I'm teaching myself programming at the moment so I'll likely be around the house a lot. I'm respectful of people's boundaries and am happy to try to work out any issues that arise. For fun I enjoy playing dancing rhythm games.
Working full time (marketing) in the city. Enjoy a couple of beers on the weekend with friends, love nature and a bit of a foodie. Looking for a housemate who’s tidy, friendly and relatively relaxed. Always down for a chat but also respect your alone time. No gender preference. Preferably another professional mid 20’s-30’s. LGBT friendly. Not open to living with children. I have a cat so must be okay with cats. He isn't friendly with other cats but very people friendly and low maintenance. Would be keen to team up and find a place anywhere between Clovelly Park/Brompton/Kensington radius. Hoping to find a place with a bit of an outdoor area, a dishwasher and preferably not too close to a main road as my cat enjoys the outdoors. Seeking a room that will fit a queen bed and some furniture, and also has a built in robe. Drop me a line if you think I’d be a suitable housemate :)
