Available 5th August 2017 Very large, bright apartment with a lot of natural sunlight. You are virtually living in the treetops of Elwood with views over the rooftops of the local area and a view to the Eureka building in the CBD. Top floor apartment with a large balcony and your own door opens from the bedroom out onto the balcony. The abode has a beautiful atmosphere. Warm in winter and cool during the summer months. Polished floorboards throughout with separate lounge and dining areas. The dining area has a great daybed for relaxing, taking an afternoon siesta or reading a book. The kitchen is also beautiful and light so if you enjoy cooking, its a lovely place to hang out in. The place also has a large entrance area. The bedroom is a really good size, also with a lot of natural sunlight and a beautiful curved window with an outlook to the lush, tree lined street. A walk to the beach takes only 10 minutes. The location is in a central part of Elwood, a 10 minute stroll to Acland St in St Kilda and 10 mins the other way to a very cool, and cosmopolitan Ormond Road cafe area of Elwood. I have lived in this apartment for 6 years and absolutely love it nad have had some really great housemates.
Hey I'm lakin! I'm looking for a home more than I am just a house, I'm fun, bubbly and a really good laugh 😂 I love to clean (I'm not OCD) but I like to make sure everything around me is tidy haha I love a cheeky drink here and there and socialising with my house mates, but I'm also very respectful of boundaries. I pay my rent on time if anything earlier than expected and I just want some awesome room mates I can vent to about how shit my day was because I lost my myki, my socks were wet and I got to work 1 hour late 😂
Easy going, just acquired full time supervisor position in Melbourne. I enjoy sport and live music. I enjoy being social but also enjoy my own time.

Abit more about me I'm from New Zealand and moved here to Australia by myself two years ago. I'm clean and tidy and love to cook when I'm at home and I love to entertain by playing my guitar and singing. I'm currently looking for a new more suitable place for myself but in saying that I'm in no big rush to find a new place and will gladly take my time in finding the right one :) I also understand that I am abit young but I have been looking after myself and have been paying rent and bills for the past two years. I am reliable and consistent and am very mature for my age.

We are moving out of our apartment and looking for someone to take over for the remainder of our lease - until March 2018. The apartment has recently been renovated, and receives stacks of natural light. The kitchen is new with heaps of cupboard space and a big dishwasher. The bathroom is also new, features a bath, good water pressure, and laundry taps. Both bedrooms are a reeeeally generous size with built in robes and stacks of natural light - you get morning light and fabulous sunrise views. The apartment is located on the third floor (good security) and also has a private storage room directly adjacent. It has gas heating, cooking and hot water, which means bills are cheap, and also has aircon for summer! Water is included in the rent. The location is amazing, situated in leafy Tennyson St, it is a 2min walk to Tennyson St shops, 5min walk to 67 tram, 7min walk to Ripponlea train station, and a 15min walk to Acland St. The lease will commence on 22nd August and run until 22nd March 2018. If you wanted to renew at the end of your lease that would definitely be possible. Rent is $405 per week, which is amazingly good value for this apartment. It is being leased through an agent so a proper application process would take place. Bond is 1 month rent. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact, we are flexible with arranging viewing times.

I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm most often away with work and at the gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also quite flexible with the move date (any weekend or week day until 5/8) and length of stay. I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on. I'm also very pet friendly in case you have pets.
Originally from South Africa and been in Melbourne for 5 years, so I still have a heavy accent. I am more of home body than a party animal although I do love a glass of red wine. I am not a morning person - I can't cope without my morning coffee. I am more of a night owl. I am always up for a relaxed night in watching movies or TV series. Would be nice to meet some new people.
Large room available! One male and one female housemate. Room has huge cupboards, tall ceiling, mirror, heating, small table...there is even an old fireplace that's been turned into a mantlepiece that adds to the character. All you need is your own bed! Modern bathroom with reliable hot water...laundry with a washing machine and lots of extra storage space for a bicycle etc. The living area is pretty massive...3 couches, TV (with Netflix), dining table, spacious kitchen....heaps of room to have friends over or spread things out all over the bench if you're cooking. We also have a backyard entertaining area with a BBQ and some outdoor furniture. Walking distance to all the bars on Acland Street, St. Kilda Botanical Gardens and the beach...we're relatively close to the southern end of Chapel Street too :) Lots of public transport nearby and free on street parking. This house is cool and airy in summer and cosy in winter.
We are a British couple on a working holiday in Melbourne, looking for a furnished room in a flat share from mid-July until December. Luke's a tennis coach and Lucy works in administration. We are active people, we enjoying cycling, walking and running and trying new activities. We also love cooking and eating out!
My name is Shannon, I'm originally from the UK, but I've been living and working in Australia for the past year and have recently returned back to Melbourne. I'm an easy going person, who enjoys quiet nights in with a glass of red just as much as checking out new bars. I would say I'm definitely a foodie, but then again it's hard not to be when you are living in Melbourne. You'll probably find me happiest in the kitchen, creating something tasty to share with friends or checking out local food markets! The rest of my free time is spent exploring everything Melbourne has to offer, check out new musicians and looking for a bargain in a salvos. P.S I'm house trained and know how to tidy up after myself!
Hi future houseshare, I run my own space clearing declutter business so I am very respectful of spaces and keeping them tidy. I have travelled with my work all over the world and have stayed in many airbnbs, holiday rentals, hotels as well as private homes. My friends call me the bed whisperer :) I like to use my home base as a chill zone and focus on my business. I will usually go out to see a movie or hang with friends, I don't drink or smoke or party I did all of that in my younger years. I love one to one conversations and not into small talk, in fact I like to keep to myself mostly. Not in an weird way locked in my room, more about meditating and working, so I like to be free of distractions. I love to cook and love watching the odd rubbish tv show occasionally. I have an easy light personality so not into drama or heavy negative energies. Spontaneous dancing may occur. I practice Qigong and Kundalini Yoga and will finish my Lomi Lomi Massage Training at the end of this year in Hawaii. I love to laugh and believe everyone deserves to be respected and listened to. Because my business is about CLARITY, I like to discuss and clarify what is expected in the domestic running of the house, so that there is no room for confusion. It's also important to be aware of boundaries. Really look forward to finding a space that feels like "home" .... and chatting with you soon Thanks Eirena ( aka ell ) PS Some things that are important on my list. -NBN Internet is very necessary for my work -I run my own business, so my hours vary, so when you ask full time and mean the conventional 9 t0 5- that's not me. -I really would like a place with a bath tub - Love love love gardens, so prefer a house to an apartment
