We are a young Swedish couple on working holiday visas. Both are hospitality workers, and we are looking to stay in Melbourne about six months, maybe more. In our free time we like to go to the gym, go for walks, and of course stay in and just relax. We are clean, friendly, easy going and open minded, sociable but also like to keep to ourselves. We enjoy grabbing a beer or two but prefer our home to be a non party house.
Hi there, I moved permanently from NZ for work. I am looking for unfurnished room with own bathroom with a carpark. I am a clean and tidy person. Fun loving into healthy food and fitness but also love a great food and a nice Vino. Enjoy being social and having a good time. With that said I'm happy to chill out and have a good Netflix sesh. also love to have a good laugh so you'll probably catch me laughing at myself a lot. I'm Friendly, clean, easy to live with, happy, energetic, polite and respectful.
Hello! I'm a 24-year-old American making the move to Australia to work full-time out of my company's Melbourne offices. I work in tech consulting for a company called Bluewolf. Originally from Boston, MA currently residing in Denver, CO. I enjoy exploring new cafes/bars/restaurants, hiking, traveling, puppies, and a good Netflix binge. I don't know many people in Melbourne so it'd be great to live with people who are open to being friends, but also I totally respect the need for personal space after a full day/week of work. Also, probably important for me to note I'm a big advocate for keeping all common areas clean + tidy, nobody likes a dirty home. :)
About myself.. I'm a mid 20's stock standard stock broker working in a St Kilda office location. I generally work between 10am - 7Pm so looking for something clean to stay with likeminded professionals that don't take themselves TOO seriously and are somewhat sociable. I'm pretty responsible as young professional, I'm easy going, clean around the house and pretty simplistic to be honest. I enjoy trading forex ( even after doing it all day at work), Big Manchester City supporter, gym enthusiast, racing sim junkie, and heavy into personal development. Literally just living a full 100% and keeping myself 100%, Heavily career focused so wont be making too much ruckus. HMU
Hi, I'm Hannes, a 32 year old digital artist from Germany. Since last week I'm working at Method Studios on St. Kilda Road (formerly known as Iloura) - a studio for movies special effects - as a 2D compositor. I'm planning to stay for at least 6 months in Melbourne and am therefore looking for a nice place to live. I'm easy going, but neat and clean. Well, I guess everyone would tell that about themselves. :) But in my case it's true, I promise. And I solemnly vow that I'm able to pay on time and without any hassle.
I am outgoing, will clean-up after myself and very independent! Here on a working holiday visa to gain experiences and make new friends! I love exploring Melbourne, its coffee scene, meeting people, running & hiking, stand-up comedy, documentaries, cinema, dancing, TED talks etc If you like-minded, let's chat! Evie
SHORT VERSION: Final year masters student looking for a place closer to Melb Uni. Extroverted but will leave you in peace, does not want a 'party house' but does like a social house. I am well house trained. I did save a heap before returning to study to avoid living like a poor uni student. EXTENDED VERSION: Currently a masters student at University of Melbourne, 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo when time permits. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets but if you have any I'll love them as they were my own. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I'm often guilty of putting the books down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron, bedroom furniture etc. I don't need to bring everything with me though. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car, kayak and mountain bike so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential, the kayak can stay behind and live with friends kayaks if needed. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped but I will ignore this for the right housemates! Need to move ASAP!
I'm an easy-going, social person. Looking to live in a friendly, considerate household where we can socialise together, enjoy a drink and meal from time to time whilst respecting each others space but definitely not looking for a party house.

Hello, I am Felipe and I am doing my postgraduate degree at Victoria University. I am currently looking for a place to move out. I'm looking for a place to be closer to work and uni and I used to live in Elsternwick/Elwood area a while ago and loved it and miss it. I am currently working in hospitality, so I keep busy with uni and work. When I am at home, I am a very tidy, respectful, clean guy who loves to enjoy his free time, resting, watching a tv show. I also like to socialize when I have time, play board games, video games, or even go out for a coffee/drink. Ideally, looking in the area of Ripponlea - Elwood - balaclava - Elsternwick and near to public transport. Feel free to shoot me a message if you need further questions. Looking forward to being your new housemate!
Hello there :) Sorry to say the dirty word on here, but I am a full time, mature aged student! Sorry! I am in the last six months of my manual therapy degree (free massages anyone?). I work part time, and in my spare time, I'll be on adventures, brunching or looking for dogs in the local park. I am a pretty social person, but I am not one to rave out until 3 am or throw house parties. I'd like to think I am funny and have a good head on my shoulders. I am a really easy-going and clean housemate who knows how to pay bills and rent on time, respect your space (and property) and generally not be a douche. I would love a place where I can create a space that feels like home; somewhere where we can chat after work, sit and have a cup of tea, watch a movie together, and have friends over for dinner and a vino. If you have a dog, I will be moving in tomorrow :-) Well, that's enough of an essay which sounds like dating profile, if you would like to know more, let me know :-)
Great location in Elwood with north facing views from balcony, big kitchen, shared bathroom with separate bath and shower, 67 tram right out the front, a couple minutes walk to Ripponlea train station or Elwood Village or into the heart of St Kilda, supermarket around the corner including bars/bottlos/cafes/chemist and laundrymat... this apartment would suit alternative people, she's well loved and lived in and very cosy...it's slightly haunted and has it's own old school quirks and charm...
Work full-time in the CBD for Medibank during the day and run my own art business on the side. My typical routine consists of exercising, drawing, working and watching way too much Netflix. My ideal new home would be somewhere close to my work/ public transport and local shops/amenities. I really value a clean, peaceful and fairly social environment. Would love housemates that are also employed, 20 - 35yrs old, wouldn't mind watching a good movie together and enjoy some good humour and banter.
Hi Flatmates, my name is Slaven and I am from Germany here to write my bachelor thesis for a big german company which has some great projects here in Melbourne (for example the future metro System in Melbourne). I am studying Mechatronics and Precision engineering in Munich and I am fulltime writing on the thesis. I need to find a place for until the end of June. I am a very clean, tidy, social and arespectful person ! 😀 If you have further question please don't hesitate to contact me 👍. I am searching for somewhere near/around the center it doesn't matter where exactly. Kind regards Slaven
Hey! I am from Vancouver, Canada. I moved to Melbourne when I was 18 and have lived here in between all of my travels. I am very sociable and love to meet new people and learn new things. I am very easy going and easy to get along with. I am a very clean and tidy person to live with. I enjoy having friends over for dinner and drinks but also enjoy having time to myself at home. I am looking for a place with a decent sized kitchen and entertaining area (big outdoor area/courtyard/lawn would be amazing!) I’d preferably like my own bathroom (with a bathtub). I am a yoga teacher and will be studying one day a week away from home. Aside from that I mostly work night shift. I only have furniture for my bedroom so I am seeking a furnished apartment or teaming up with someone who has furniture. If I sound like someone you could live with then let me know, I’m looking to move out into a new place at the end of the month! I am also happy to be the name on the lease.
I’m an American from Oregon who is here on working holiday looking for 6 month contract jobs in Melbourne. I enjoy most things outdoors and almost all kinds of sports. Generally pretty clean and responsible with getting things paid on time. I love meeting new people and an occasional night out or mid week happy hour, but a night in is also great. Based off of my previous living experiences, I’d prefer to live with girls, but am not opposed to a mix or all boys. Looking to make the most of my time in Melbourne!
Incredible location near the heart of St Kilda!! Acland street is a couple minute drive away, the beach is a 5 minute drive away, Fitzroy St, Chapel St, access to trams & train line, cafes - yet in the green and leafy suburb of Elwood so it still feels homely and residential - not busy and congested! The rent is considerably cheap for the area and the decent size of apartment - it has a separate kitchen, large living area with small dining/study table, bathroom with shower, bath & laundry, separate toilet (which is super convenient when sharing with someone!!) and a cute little balcony! Fully furnished except for your bedroom. However if you have any furniture items you would like to bring I'm open to negotiation :) Especially if you have a couch or fridge I’m happy to negotiate if they're better than mine! I can always sell mine ;) Any other smaller items welcome if I don't already have them. Dishwasher, washing machine, split system air conditioning with heating, heaps of cupboard space (both in your bedroom which has built in robes, and linen cupboards in the hallway). BILLS Bills are on top of rent and split equally. Wifi internet is $30 per month. BOND Bond is $1000. PARKING/ TRANSPORT Street parking available, the tram stop is a 5min walk at the end of the street on Brighton Rd and Ripponlea train station is a 10min walk/ Balaclava 5min drive. No smoking at all please :)
Hey guys, I’m Josie, 17 almost 18, though been living independently since I was 16 so I’m used to how sharehouses work & have references as well :) I’m pretty active and social, usually out of the house 7am - 4pm/6pm ish with school, gym, friends and work on weekdays, and most of the day (and nights :) ) on weekends - I love going out but won’t come back loudly at 4am or bring the party home I work at St Kilda Maccas so I usually have interesting stories from work to share with everyone over dinner haha
Ola 👋🏾 I’m a fun loving Gal, that loves to be active & out in nature, going for walks along the bay, adventures on my days off I head down to Phillip island where my parents live. Hey there, How’s going? This is Ariel. . Yes I said home because I’m looking for a place I can call home rather than just a place to crash. A place where there is someone that not only you feel comfortable enough to share the substantial amount of time/space with, but also hearty home-cooked meals and a glass of vino. Ok. A little intro about myself. I’m in my mid-30’s and professional working full time female. I am a non smoker, honest, CLEAN and tidy, considerate and caring person. I enjoy spending time with my housemates as well as respectful quiet time. It would be awesome if there is a chance that you could kindly arrange a time for house inspection so that we can have a chat in person too. Looking forward to hearing from you. Have a lovely day. :)
Your spaces include a comfortable bedroom that fits a queen sz bed and bedside table and a dress area that has a brand new build in robe. The apartment is one of only 4 in a very beautiful old 1930's mansion style apartment. The street is quiet, tree lined, close to public transport and only a short walk to Acland Street, the StKilda Botanical gardens and the beach. If you're wanting to surround yourself in a peaceful environment that is beautifully furnished, this is the place for you.
