Hiya, Im an english girl looking in December for 6 months or a little less. I like to come home and make healthy meals and go to the gym and go out at the weekend , im friendly and like to socialise. I am currently working for a music company in the UK , but will hopefully doing a Mon-Fri job in Melbourne! I know its quite a bit of a wait but want to be prepared :) I will be on a years working visa.
Hi, I'm sociable which is probably why I'm studying to kick start my radio career, I also enjoy some of the finer things in life, finding a nice bar and chatting over headbanging and sweating in a club for example. I get along well with pets for some reason, I joke that it's my animal magnetism but I'm more humble than that. I'm here to study, work and see some of the great things that Melbournites brag about. So far I've not been disappointed. I do like to game but I'm not a screamer or carry on like the media make you believe. I also like to dabble in the kitchen and somehow became a very clean cook :O I hail from the Blue Mountains of NSW and have many stories so far in my life, which I didn't realise until I started being introduced to many people in Melbourne.
We prefer 2 individual room. Having shared for years and having a great sense of respect coupled with an active personality means that share with me could be very easy though funny.
We are both tidy, considerate and respectful of others. We are working and while we enjoy going out we typically do not stay out too late. Both of us are from Texas, USA and are here on a Working Holiday Visa.
Hey! I'm Henry, and I'm studying at the Victorian College of the Arts (Melb Uni) in the field of Production. IE: Im the techie in black that works behind the scenes in sound, lighting and vision for live music, theatre etc etc. I also work in this field of production commercially and have started my own small business. Google me and ill come up . So I guess call me a bit of a tech :). My course can be relatively intensive at times, and there can be periods where I'm out and about for most of the day, every day. But when I am at home, I love to play keyboard and am quite musical (though I am quiet about it and use headphones). My list of TV shows that I enjoy seems to grow and grow but include all the 'top' shows like Game of Thrones, Survivor, The Amazing Race and most things on Netflix. I like to think of myself as being quite mature and independent. While I really enjoy socializing, I can be a pretty quiet person that keeps to myself. I can be quite happy to just sit in my room and chill out. I also have a partner living in Melbourne that I like to spend time with.
My name is Chantelle and I'm 21. Very laid back and chill but willing to comply with house rules if there are any. Loud snorer so if you're a light sleeper you won't like me. Working 35+ hours a week and sometimes come home at 11:30pm or even midnight. Love listening to music but if I'm ever too loud let me know and I'll turn it down. Love sounds so if you're noisy or situated in a busy area, I'll love it. Can be brutally frank and straightforward at times so if you're not into that we might not get along. If you ever need me to pick up anything on the way home just let me know. I like to share things but if you don't I'm totally fine with that too. Anything else you want to know, just ask. Pretty easygoing.

A few things about me to spike your interest, as I assume you probably get a million messages! I work full time for a land surveyor as well as studying part time as a building designer. I'm hard working and highly reliable.. Brought up the good Ol' fashion way, so I know how to clean up after myself and cook a mean meal well too - if you're keen to share a meal or two together.. I get to the gym or yoga most days and love anything active or in the sun. Love a good weekend out and about or a relaxing night in on the couch with a glass of Pinot.. I'm a very down to earth, easy going person, but definitely enjoy my own space. I am looking for someone who is also respectable and a pleasure to live with. I'm 22, but definitely an old soul.. probably get along better with people quite a bit older than me so more looking for house mates in the 24+ vercinity.. but not too fussed..
I am a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at his spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) in St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas..

Hi, my name's Hilda. Newbie to Melbourne as of a year ago.. I work in communications for Alfred Health but am a growing yogi. I've started studies just recently so I spend some time at my yoga studio as well as studying at home. Weekends, I'm pretty social - I love coffee & cake dates the most (not a wine type of gal but it's ok once in a while :)). Love travel, art, foreign films, philosophy, friends.. cooking! Even though they are super cute, I can't live with pets as I am allergic... I'm searching for a room in a welcoming house, preferably with one female roommate.. Thanks, looking forward to connecting :)!
Hey! My name is Jared, I'm 26 and I work as a mobile app developer for Android/iOS. I just got offered a sweet job in St Kilda starting Thurs 27th. I like movies and going down to a nice pub for a drink. I'm looking to meet new people and see new places. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Im a quality flatmate as I am easy going, enjoy some socialising with flatmates and time to myself, tidy, polite and friendly. I like bike riding/racing in my spare time and try to keep relatively fit/healthy. Do enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evening though. So I'm balanced! I also have a small boston terrier, who is house trained, does not bark and is generally inconspicuous.

*Looking for 2 separate rooms* Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm 24, work full time in Sales and am starting a digital agency on the side so will be working long hours 5-6 days a week. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi I'm Anna, I'm a 29 year old Melburnian. I have just returned from living overseas for the last year and am slowly settling back in. I'm a photographer, slowly establishing my own business. I love the arts, music and design. I practice yoga and clean eating. I have shared a few beautiful homes over the years and am very respectful of property and space and responsible with timely rent and bill payments. I am really looking to share a 'home' rather than just a house to crash in. Ideally, I am looking for other working professionals or graduate students, I generally have a busy schedule but still love a glass of wine and chat with house mates. This is just a quick tidy summary, please throw any other questions you may have at me :)

Hi there! See below… THE PLACE – The place is an apartment but is very spacious, even for 4 people. We only have 1 bathroom, maybe 1.5, and you’d think it’d be an issue but it’s very easily worked around. The kitchen is really good, spacious, Masterchef friendly. Your room is also very sizable however has no built in robe so you’ll probably need to source one of those. The apartment itself will be furnished other than a couch which is also leaving. If you have one, swell but if you don’t, also swell! We live opposite a park which is great for obvious reasons! It also means if you have a car don’t stress about parking. The whole street has free parking – no permits required! – and there is always a spot somewhere! THE PRICE – Rent is $800 a month exactly – Bargain! Internet/water is included however bills are usually somewhere between $40-60 extra each month. You will also need to complete a bond transfer/jump on the lease, etc.
I have a great king-size furnished room for rent: $230pw, with bills included. Available mid November. Great quiet location close to Ormond Rd shops (2min walk), and Elwood beach (5 min walk). Kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Bathroom has great shower with excellent water pressure. Private outdoor area with seating. If you are a smoker, you are welcome to smoke outside. Space for bicycle in lock-up garage. Large king-sized bedroom – 4 x 4m Tastefully Furnished - Very comfortable double bed, quality bedding & linen / wardrobe / drawers, bookshelf, desk, heater, etc) $230 per week, all bills inclusive (electricity, gas, heating, water, wifi). Plus two weeks bond. Not suitable for couples, and no pets allowed. I am mid 40's, French-Australian male, writer and I work mainly from home. I am occasionally social, but pretty busy and focused on my work and life, and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere at home. It is not a party house. Look forward to hearing from you. Garden Area Washing Machine Dishwasher

I work at construction sites 5 days a week so I'm looking for a place where people also work and who dont like to party and drink every night. I'm here for saving money. I'm a skateboarder and I dont drink alcohol a lot but maybe few beers at weekends. I dont smoke but.. 420 friendly. Pls mail or text.
My partner & I are looking for a place to share with possibly another single person or another couple. We have a beautiful little staffy who is 2 months old & will be 4 months old by the time we are ready to move into a new place. We are both respectful, clean and easy going people. We are currently in a small one bedroom apartment and want to find preferably a house with a backyard or bigger apartment. If you have a dog already that is fine as our puppy loves other dogs and it would be nice for her to have a friend. If you don't have a dog you must LOVE them as she has tonnes of energy and will want to play with you!
Hello House hunters, My housemate is moving out December 14th and I will be looking for a new tenant. The flat is right next to Elwood beach and Ormond Road shops, also a five minute walk to bus stops and transport. The room is big with ample cupboard space, heating in the living area and a TV that you can link your laptop up to. The furniture in the bedroom will not be there and the living room furniture will most likely change due certain pieces belonging to my housemate who is moving out
Hey all, I'm looking for a room for me +1 quiet and friendly, mature, housetrained cat named Charlie. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my degree. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). Like to enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, very into openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. Can pay a pet bond, 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Also looking for new house share start-ups! Feel free to fire any questions my way :)
