Hey there! We're a Brazilian couple that's about to move to Sydney. We've been living in Adelaide for the last 4 months and decided to move to Manly to be close to our family and friends. We like to watch movies and series. Also, we quite enjoy cooking our own food. We are very tidy and clean.
Hey! I am planning on moving to the inner west of Sydney in October with a friend. Im keen to apply for 3 or 4 bedroom places. I really want to find a house with a backyard that is not too far from a train station. Looking for an extra housemate to join! I work full time and am pretty easy going. I love eating and netflix ha. Message me if you're keen or want to know more.
Hi Guys, 1 of our lovely housemates is Leaving Australia:( so We're currently looking for 1 clean and tidy male to move into a nice and cosy shared room which is currently available) you’ll be sharing the room with a Colombian guy who has been living with us for over a year. It's a large terrace with both the 1st and 2nd levels having common areas. The house is very well located! It's only a 10 min walk to Newtown Train Station or a 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop (423, 426, 428 , M30). A stone's throw from the execellent cafes, restaurants, pubs and entertaintment that the area has to offer. It's also centrally located if you're a Sydney Uni or UTS student. Broadway Shopping Centre is only a 15 minute bus ride. Our place has a large open plan kitchen with a commercial grade cooktop/oven so you can cook up a storm or practice for your upcoming Master Chef trial, a large pantry and plenty of storage. For good measure there's also a dishwasher so you don't always have to handwash. We have Netflix, Unlimited fast cable Internet and a full size pool table that can also be used for poker, table tennis and even air hockey for mingleing with the crew over a few cold ones or a nice glass of wine. We are open to smokers but outside only - No smoking indoors. The house has 3 1/2 bathrooms for when nature calls. A laundry with a dryer and there's also a line out the back if you prefer. Now down to business: Room 1 $190 per week, we're looking for 1 friendly male to move into this nice an cosy shared room, it's on the ground floor and it will be available from the 18th of July. House bond is $400 for the shared room all bills are included in the rent. Thanks.
My name is Ella and I’m moving to Sydney (from Brisbane) for 6 months for work. I’m looking for a space I can call home for that time where I can relax after work. I keep to myself most of the time, but I am partial to a collaborative Netflix binge or a wild night of board games and cheese. I’m a non-smoker and very occasional drinker. I work full time in stage and festival management (double time in December/January). My special skills include Rocky Road making, dog patting and falling over at inappropriate times. A place close to public transport would be dandy.
Hi there - I'm Treena! I just moved back to my hometown of Adelaide 4 months ago for my studies and to purchase an apartment, but am now looking at coming back to Sydney (where it now feels like home). I lived in Sydney for 4 years, both in Redfern and Newtown and study and work at UTS (PhD). I enjoy catching up with friends, attending cultural events, checking out the new bars, having a night out in Newtown from time to time, and spending time in Adelaide every few months. I'm not a fan of the gym, but love playing netball and want to get back into that. I love old music (50s-80s), retro and vintage fashion and design and heading to vintage dance class and/or NLNL in Newtown. I study from UTS, but also occasionally from home and coffee shops. I am both extroverted and introverted, but lack energy levels so tend to get introverted, less talkative and nap. I am clean and tidy and have a lot of furniture - which I can either contribute or sell. I have been living by myself for the past 1.5 years and would love to live in a share house with 3-4 people (including a couple).
Hey! I'm Courtney, I'm 23 and I am originally from Perth. I'm a full time medical administrator in the Sydney CBD and am finishing up my bachelor degree in Criminology and Addiction. I'm tidy and generally keep to myself during the week but love a chat over a glass of wine and an awful TV series. I do like to be social on the weekend but I prefer to go out and explore Sydney- from brunch to local coffee shops, to a dive bar and live music venue.
We have just relocated from Melbourne for new job opportunities; I am working as a Purchasing & Administration Officer and Courtney will be starting shortly as a Leasing Consultant. We’ve lived in Melbourne all our lives, most recently living in a 3 bedroom share house for the past year. We are looking for somewhere to call home that we can enjoy with our housemates. We enjoy spending time with everyone but also respect privacy and alone time. We also like to clean and keep everything tidy. We aren’t party people and prefer a night in to a big night out but also enjoy going out for dinner or for a few drinks. We enjoy going to the footy, movies and brunch. I play Tennis and aim to join a club close to home. We will both look to try playing some new sports as well.
Hi we are looking for a new 3rd housemate to replace our current super cool housemate who has been recently offered a job in London. Our home is amazing with 3 large double bedrooms all with built ins, polished concrete floors, and all evenly spaced out around the property. The are also 2 modern bathrooms, large living area, large kitchen with melee appliances, courtyard, pingpong table, and an outdoor balcony terrace. To top it all off there is also a private north facing rooftop terrace with it's own kitchenette and bar. Perfect for summer chillouts. Oh and there is air conditioning / central heating throughout the place. The location is also great with a less than 5 minute walk to Enmore road and an 8 minute walk to the heart of Newtown. We are also located on a one way street with heaps of all day parking around. We have been living here currently for 8 months and love it. The house is huge, everyone gets their own space and the location can't be beat.
Hi I'm an exchange student from Denmark. I'm 23 years old and in Sydney to study architecture at The University of Sydney for the next 4 months. In short; I looooove wine, animals, sci-fi and walking - I do not enjoy spiders, biking and being asked a lot of complicated questions in the morning. I like chilling with a good movie or binge watching something with a bad rating on Netflix. I make a whole lot of risotto, dunno if i'm any good though. I'm always up for a drink, a chat and a laugh. Easy going, generally clean, quite sweet and all around lovable. I'm looking for a place with a relaxed atmosphere, where we might cook some food together once in a while or drink a glass of wine but where a closed door is a also acceptable. - Hope you'd have me!
The available bedroom is located at the back of the house next to the garden and gets lovely sunlight through the large window. It comfortably fits a queen sized bed and medium sized wardrobe and has some inbuilt shelves on the wall. There is additional storage available in the shed in the garden and a built-in in the study/eyelash extension studio. Our home is situated on a lovely, quiet street in Enmore. Single storey home, with an open plan kitchen/loungeroom, perfect view of your fav Netflix show while you cook up a storm in the kitchen. Massive fridge, gas stove top, electric oven and dishwasher. We also have aircon in the loungeroom/kitchen. Large TV in the lounge with comfy couch for your bottom. Unlimited wifi ($20/month). Large courtyard garden with undercover area, clothesline, coal BBQ, shed and when the weather is fine we dabble in outdoor cinema nights with friends. Bathroom – spa bath. Need I say more? Luxurious shower over the bath with generous water flow. Also a toilet… gotta have one of those. The place is about a 20 min walk to Newtown station, or 5min bus. Amazing cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Marrickville Metro is about an 11min walk away. Free on street parking is typically not hard to find on our street. Any questions about the place feel free to ask!
I work fulltime in construction 6 days so i enjoy my down time. I'm pretty laid back and i respect people. I don't really drink only on a rare occasion, i clean up after myself and pitch in with the weekly chores if needed. In my spare time i focus on music, gig and chill. I'm from Ireland but im an Australian resident and loving it. I'm just looking for a safe and friendly environment with some grounded down to earth people.
I'm a cleanliness liking person who is friendly yet finds personal time and space to be important. Looking for a private room
Hi, I'm looking for long term room (minimum 6 months), ideally in a relaxed, positive home with genuine people. Consider myself to be easygoing and considerate. NOT INTERESTED IN SHARED ROOMS OR BOARDING HOUSES thank you! I have full time job with an eCommerce company in the CBD, and sometimes work from home. Been share housing for a while and always pay my bills on time. My interests are cycling, travel, movies, and live music. I sometimes play games on my Xbox to unwind, but mostly use it to stream Netflix! I'm from South America, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I speak Spanish and am happy to help you practice :)
24 year old exchange student from Copenhagen, Denmark. I will be studying to a WSU for the spring semester. As a person I am very outgoing, respectful, clean and do not mind enjoying a beer/wine. Further, I do understand the need for privacy.
Young professional working in the city. Wanting to live with a great bunch of people (or person). A clean and tidy individual who also understands when people need their alone time. Looking for a place that is within 30mins of Wynyard station.
Freshly arrived in Sydney from Amsterdam and now looking for some lovely roommates/ a place to completely settle in! I will be doing an exchange at the UNSW and possibly stay another 4 months for an internship afterwards. I am originally from Germany but lived in the Netherlands for the last three years. There I enjoyed some great cooking/vino evenings, movie nights and much more with my roommates which I would love to continue in my new flat. Of course, I also appreciate some me-time and respect those of others. I especially like to do weekend travels (which you would be more than welcome to join) or work on my art collages in my free time. I guess I'd be a good fit for every apartment that is looking for a fun and easy-going person :)
I'm a friendly, easygoing and fun guy who's keen to help out around the house. I grew up in Annandale, Sydney and lived in a few share houses in Balmain/Chippendale. I'm studying full time at University of Sydney doing a Bachelor of Education (Primary), and working casually at a before/after school care in Glebe. I love coming home and being sociable, but also have study so know the importance of personal space and having time on your own. Lion King fanatic, Game of Thrones enthusiast.
**Cannot move before end July** Looking to move out Fri 27th July or Sunday 29th July. - need parking - wardrobe/ BIR -non-smokers Hi :) I'm originally from Melbourne, and I've lived in Sydney a few yrs. I work full time in the arts industry, and like a relaxing /low key working week, & tend to get out and socialise on weekends. I appreciate a laugh, exercise, good food and positive people. Hi everybody! I'm a master student in Copenhagen, exchanging in Sydney for 6 months. I'm looking for a single room from the 20th of July, but I can inspect rooms starting from the 14th. I've been sharing flat for years now, so I guess I know and respect the basic rules of living together! I'm always down for a talk/ drink when in a common space, I can cook italian food and I clean after myself! Mattia
PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME IF YOU LIVE IN THE HOUSE.... I don’t want to hear from people trying to cram as many people into houses they own but don’t live in. PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE OFF STREET PARKING.... my profile clearly states this need so I am not interested in street parking If you meet these criteria, please read on. Hey, I'm Bec. I am a full time high school teacher in the Inner West and I currently commute a crazy distance to get there. I have lived in the area before and it's time to move back and regain some hours in my life. Due to the nature of my work, I am not home during the day time and am quite busy in school term. I usually like to come home to a relaxed setting, where sharing a glass of wine or few with dinner or TV is welcomed, but reasonable sleeping hours are also respected. I have shared houses in Australia and overseas, with friends, randoms, males, females, mixed nationalities, ages etc and have never missed a rent payment or a cleaning schedule. Ideally, I require a large-ish room, built ins and off-street parking. I am past the student life (been there, done that ... twice over) so I am being picky... please don't contact me if your room on offer is an expensive shoe box. I have a queen bed, a bookcase, a desk and then some clothes that require a built in wardrobe. Let me know if you can help me out or have any questions. Looking forward to meeting some new housemates and hopefully, friends. Bec :)
Hey, Just moved here from California, work full time in the music industry (not a musician). Looking to find a good place to live and hopefully make some friends while I'm at it. Sociable guy here, like to go out and have a good time, but also enjoy my nights in. I work almost 12 hour days, so like to relax during the week, but doesn't take much to convince me to go out for a beer. Love to travel, go to concerts/music festivals, hikes, beer, food, movies, etc. Pretty normal guy here. Just got a car so ideally looking for a place with parking, but would be taking the train to work so if there is a station nearby thats a plus. I have family that live in Sydney and spend time with them when I can, but trying to do my own thing here in the meantime. Hit me up if you've got a place or interested in being roommates. Budget, location, and move in date are flexible if I find the right spot, staying with family at the moment. Also down to meet new people. Nic
Hi, my name is Bec. I work in internal recruitment, so I work pretty standard hours. I go to the gym a few times a week…I don't love it, just think it's important to keep a healthy lifestyle. I tend to cook at home during the week, maybe going out once or twice a week, then I enjoy catching up with friends on the weekend. I like reading and watching TV. I'm not a noisy person and I'm clean and considerate of others. I have good friends but am also hoping to making new friends as well. I like sincere, friendly, considerate people. People who don't have issues over control and people who are clean but not obsessively so are also ideal. I have furniture for my room but no other furniture or white goods. I do have a Dyson stick vacuum, newly acquired. :-) I prefer to organise my own food but am happy to share meals on occasion. I'm not vegetarian but most of my friends are and I do like vegetarian meals.
