I'm a professional and come from a background in the Emergency Services, Aviation and now Senior Management. I am sorted, well traveled, cultured and educated. I am friendly, social and clean. I love my family and friends and love animals as well at seeing a movie, eating out and musical theatre. A glass of wine is always nice with company or alone (maybe a bottle) :-) or beer, love a good night at a bar or club with friends. Really enjoy traveling, I'm a country boy at heart, living in the suburbs haha.
We're on the hunt for a few amazing humans to team up with to share life, food and laughter in the north/west/north-western suburbs of Melbourne. Hoping to kick off a new lease any time from July 8 onwards. ABOUT US: Mischa (hubby) is 26 and is an Air Traffic Controller at Tulla airport. He reads economics and finance books for fun and he can have a conversation with anybody about anything. So he's the brains of this operation! I'm Naomi, 23, in transition right now between work and study. I've been an early childhood educator but I’m now returning to my life-long dream: to study everything humanities at university. So I'll be studying full time as of this coming semester. I'm also a writer. And I love cooking and hosting big, messy, delicious, happy dinners for everybody. We’ve been married 3 ½ years and have no kids or pets. We've been sharehousing for 2+ years. We have rental references available. We like to be friends with our housemates, not just strangers sharing a house! That being said, we need our privacy and down time as much as anyone, and respect others' space. We don't own a TV. You are welcome to bring one with you, but please don't be one of those people who has it turned on all the time (even if it is on mute). That's a deal breaker for us! ABOUT THE (theoretical, not-yet-existent) HOUSE: This is a house where... … everyone works together to foster a friendly, honest, open, supportive culture ...you can invite friends over for a meal or a beer, but in a way that respects other's needs. (If you know another housemate is doing 6am shifts all week, it wouldn't be fair to have people over partying until midnight.) ...housies know a bit about each other's lives and what others are working through, or towards, and are there to provide friendship and conversation when somebody needs to vent or laugh or brainstorm …you feel free to go into hibernation mode and escape from the world and housemates when you need private down time, and the other housemates respect that ...everyone pitches in in equal amounts to maintain the house to a standard that makes living there a pleasant experience for all. That means being willing to clean the bathroom, or take out the bins or wash those few extra dishes that aren't yours. ABOUT YOU: - Australian citizen or permanent resident (for rent contract security) - At least 2 rental references (or 1 rental, 1 character) - Looking for a minimum 6-month lease, preferably 12 months. - Employed with a reliable income (ideally, you would be willing to present an employment contract to illustrate stable employment). - Absolutely non-smoker and no illicit drugs - Reliable rent payer (shown in rental reference) - Interested in building into the culture of the house We understand this feels like a lot, but this is our first time venturing into setting up a sharehouse from scratch and we just want to make sure our butts are covered! We are also happy to show you our references so you know we're good kids. After all, if we are going to sign contracts, both parties need to feel secure and confident in their position within this legal arrangement. :) Woo, things took a turn for the serious there, hey! But at least everyone will be on the same page and secure in the above-board steps we've all taken to create the most awesomest sharehouse ever! Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to catch up for a cuppa and a chat!

Hi my name is Shaz! I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide last year and work full-time as a Physiotherapist. I'm a very friendly person who is easy to get along with. I'm quite a foodie and like trying out new places in Melbourne, while also having some relaxing nights at home. I enjoy watching movies, fitness, dance, cooking/baking, exploring melbourne and talking. In a home, I appreciate privacy and cleanliness, but am also looking forward to being around like-minded girls who I can freely communicate with and feel relaxed around. I'm looking for a room with ensuite, and to share a home with females only.

Hi, My name is Rhiannon and I'm interested in the room you've advertised. Im a 20 year old student who was studying nursing but have since stopped due to it not being the course I am passionate about and I am currently trying to get into Acu next year to study paramed. Since my study has been put on hold, I have been trying to compensate with working so that I am doing something for the time being. I currently work as a swim instructor, pool lifeguard and at Mr.Burger. So my hours are crazy and are all over the place. I have a dog thats 7 months old who is a beautiful boy. He is a golden retriever cross border collie who is very loving but smart. He receives weekly dog training as i want him to be the best dog possible and get him out of puppy habits. I also get him walked three times a week (whilst im working) so he is engaged and doesn't become bored. He is an inside/outside dog but mainly just enjoys peoples company and pats. If i sound like the right fit for you. Please contact me

Hey guys, I'm Mick. I'm 28. I just started a new full time retail job in South Melb. I'm pretty laid back and like to think I can get along with pretty much anyone. I play bass in a band, but noise won't be in an issue. I clean up after myself and am happy to help out with cooking and general house duties. Not a massive 'partier' - my social outings these days usually revolve around going to catch live music/bands. If there's any other questions, feel free to get in touch. Cheers!
I’m Vanessa, a 28 year female scientist from Brisbane. I’m making the big move to Melbourne for a job starting on the 17th of July. I love to come home to a place with good banter and fun facts. Eating is life and I exercise so I can eat more. I’ll only be moving down my clothes, a bed, bike and my car (I’ll be driving to work, so easy parking at home is a must). I will be selling a fair bit of stuff before I move down so if there is anything the house needs, ask and I might have it. Anything else you need to know, ask away. PS if you have a dog, please message me. That would be a huge plus!

I'm a first year student studying Psych and Criminology at University of Melbourne. I'm into video games, anime and TV shows and if i'm not doing any of those, i'm probably studying or napping. I'm also really into art (drawing and painting) and I love animals! I'm super easy going, clean and I'm happy to hang out and have a chat or watch a movie every now and then. I can also speak Japanese (which is pretty cool imo). I also have a cert 3 in child care, and hoping to get a part-time position when I return. I'm currently living in a share house with 4 other people and I get along really well with my current housemates. I'm currently in Queensland visiting my family I'll be back on the 22nd July - I'm hoping to be able to move in when I get back. I'm not fazed on whether or not a place is furnished, and I'd prefer to stay around 5/6 months, as I'm most likely going to be heading back to Queensland for Christmas holidays mid December. Any suburb within a 30 minute tram/train ride from Uni/CBD would be fine for me. My max budget is about $170 - $180 with bills included. I dont own any pets, however I'd like to move into a pet friendly household as I was hoping to get a bird or 2 in the near future, but of course that's not a necessity, aha. I may have my 2 bffs or my parents visit me for a holiday, so I'd prefer housemates that would be okay with that! Thank-you! :)
The house is in central Essendon and is a 10 minute walk to Essendon station and a 10 drive to Highpoint shopping centre. It is also close to some lovely cafes and parks. There is a large living/ kitchen area downstairs as well as a small courtyard. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house has central heating and air conditioning.
I am a mature friendly lady who likes a nice quiet evening after a hard days work. I do like my space & privacy, but happy to share a meal with friends.
Currently studying Bachelor of Business at RMIT Love cooking/trying out new recipes and travelling - looking forward to weekend trips with housemates Wish to live with people I can actually become friends with Never paid rent late - happy to prove this with receipts/statements if required Location wise - anywhere less than a 15-min walk to a train station with a train journey of less than 30 mins to the city would work for me Don't hesitate to drop me a message if you wish to know more about me! :)
22 years old german girl searching for a place to stay in beautiful Melbourne for about 3 months (October to December). I am employed during that time and working in Southbank. I've studied Psychology in Germany and now I would like to explore Australia. I am an easy-going, funny, tidy and clean person who likes to travel (obviously), go out or watch Netflix. Got experience with living with flatmates in Germany as well as in Ireland. I am not a great cook but I will try my best to get us filled. Looking forward to your message! Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
I'm a tidy person, laid back, enjoy to cook. I like to be living in a homely sort of place where the flatmates all know each other, maybe have the occasional get together. I'm from Queenstown, New Zealand and love to get out and about to go for excursions.
