We're fun and sociable, but respectful and responsible too! We're moving to Melbourne to broaden our career-based horizons, and just need somewhere to stay for a few months whilst we find long-term employment and our own rental accommodation. Jamie: animal lover and foodie. Will be studying at La Trobe University, and hopefully working part-time, all while pursuing a career in the animal care industry. I make a mean pizza too! Jack: recent media/international studies graduate, and up-and-coming media personality (radio and TV hosting).
The house: you'll be living in is a kitschy 60s house with a lot of personality. From the green kitchen cupboards to the original patterned tiles it's quite a gem. It's a decent sized kitchen/dining room that goes straight out to the large backyard with carport which is great for having a few friends around for a BBQ. This 3 bedroom house has a bath, seperate shower and toilet. The main bedroom of the house is on offer! With two double robes with a mirror/vanity in the middle you'll be able to store a lot in just your room! Pretty much the biggest room in the house, you have a large south facing window which brings in so much light, and it has easily fit my queen bed. Unfortunately no pets! The area: this house is placed in an amazing spot. Right off Pascoe Vale Road it's a 2 minute drive to Citylink, a short drive to Moonee Ponds Central (Coles, Aldi, Kmart etc), and a 3 block walk to Glenbervie train station so wherever you need to go it's easy to get anywhere! Only 8km from the city, its also a short drive (straight down Moreland Road) to Sydney road! Very good for a busy person. Move in date is anytime after January 5th, as that's when I move out. I'd prefer to have all the paperwork done before then so it's an easy transition :)
Hey there I'm Mikaela... at the moment i'm looking at moving from New Zealand to Melbourne. I have a cat that i'm wanting to bring with me. At this stage i'm looking to come over in mid February. My wife and I are very hard working people, reliable, clean and respectful. I'm a graphic designer and Illustrator and she's a baker, so there will be treats around every now and then. We're from Venezuela, so if you're clever you might learn some Spanish. We're usually working but when we want to relax beers, popcorns and netflix are our thing.

I am a reasonably clean person. I am a person who can be approached easily. I consider myself open minded, so I'm sure I will not hold anything against you if that is what you believe in and stand for. Like any girl, I love shopping and food! I love the beach as well and I also try to stay fit by doing some sort of exercise. I am from Vanuatu, which is a country in the Pacific made up of a chain of small coastal Islands. I was born in Port-Vila, the capital. So, generally we all have really nice clean houses because it is a part of our upbringing. And when you go to other peoples houses to eat or something, you're usually expected to clean up without even being asked! This is a sign of appreciation and a way of saying thank you. I moved over to Australia in 2015 and it has been wonderful so far. I have learnt a lot of things just by living here, and i know that if i had not moved here I wouldn't have been able to learn the things I know now. I am currently in Brisbane but will be moving to Melbourne in less than two weeks. I want to experience Melbourne and see what it has to offer. I will be looking for work there asap! Please message me if you think I will be a suitable flatmate and you are happy to share a place with me, lets team up. Thanks :)

Bills included, this means water, gas, electricity and internet. There's no phone line because we all have mobiles these days. Can negotiate bills if you want to separate them, and furnishings of the bedroom. Sorry, but no couples.

Completed my studies in nursing and psychology. About to start my full time career in nursing at the Royal Children's in February 2017. Currently live 45kms north of the city so looking to fly out of the parent's nest and move closer to the city. I would say I'm a pretty easy going person, easy to get along with and happy to socialise but also understand the need for space/privacy. Also understand the importance of a clean communal space.
My partner Shannon & I will be looking to find a 3 bedroom home to rent & are looking 1 a housemate to join us in our search. We are currently looking for a housemate who can have a chat, a laugh & share the occasional catch up when we are all in the home. Also a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy & someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels. Rachael is an intern psychologist and Shannon a construction site manager. We are a respectful, friendly, easy going couple who pride ourselves in being neat and tidy & never a hassle to live with. Recently renovated, 2 bedroom apartment. The block is quiet and safe, with only 6 apartments in total, and my apartment is located on the first floor. The apartment is fully furnished, so there is nothing you will need to bring other than bedroom furniture and your own kitchen items - pots and pans etc. I can also arrange a bed if you require. The kitchen features all new appliances - electric stove and oven, dishwasher and fridge, and there is a split system air con in the kitchen/dining area. The apartment also features a laundry with washing machine. Access to Wifi & Netflix. On street parking available (no permit restrictions). The room for rent is shown in the images above - it's currently my study. The bedroom features a window with a view of the city skyline, timber floor boards and built in wardrobe with great storage space (shelves and hanging section). Room size is 2.7 x 4m. Located close to Essendon train station (Craigieburn Line) and the Mt.Alexander road tram, public transport is walking distance from the apartment (10-15min walk approx). There are two supermarkets close by, and also quite a few nice cafes in the area. Rent is $200 per week ($865 per calendar month). Bills are additional and include internet, water and electricity. Bond is one month's rent in advance. The room will be available for a 6-month rental, however, this could potentially be extended once the 6 months is up. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
My name is Caitie, I'm 24, originally from Adelaide but have spent two years living in London and the past year living in Melbourne. I work full time in South Melbourne, so I'm pretty melow on weeknights, but enjoy socialising and being out and about on weekends. :)
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.

I'm a 22 year old paediatric occupational therapist. I'm looking for a place to move out of home to that's closer to my full time job. I'm easy to get along with, tidy and sociable. I love animals, travel and socialising with friends and family.
Hi, I am a full-time professional searching for a private space that can include either a whole apartment, a studio or shared space with my own bathroom in the areas listed. I prefer to live with a female in a quiet space. I am mature and have a pet dog, basset hound, completely lazy, pretty much sleeps all day and everyone that meets him loves him. I am quiet and private but friendly and have a routine that keeps me quite active. I work in the non-profit sector as recently finished studying graduate law.
Friendly, chilled tidy English guy looking for a room somewhere north of Melbourne. I like going to the gym, doing a bit of photography and love a night out on the weekend. I'll be working in construction and looking to move in for 3-4 months any time before mid December. Cheers
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.
