Relocating to Brisbane for work and would like to share a place until I get settled in (though if it works well then hey, great!). Single professional lady, non smoker, no pets. TL;DR at the bottom Hi there, We are looking for a new house mate to join us in our house towards the end of October. It is located in Everton Hills and is in close proximity to Brookside shopping complex and the various shops on the corner of Stafford and South Pine road, as well as a few bus and train stops. The house includes a scenic deck that looks toward Brisbane CBD, located 12kms away, a large kitchen, spacious living areas both upstairs and downstairs and lots of storage around the house. Chermside shopping centre is 15 minutes away and there are also several gyms and pools near us. The available bedroom has two built in wardrobes and looks out to the CBD. Dimensions can be provided upon request but the room will comfortably fit a queen bed, bedside tables, dressing table and bookshelf. The bedroom is next to the toilet and bathroom (separate) which will be shared with Ryan and Georgie. The bathroom consists of dual vanities, drawers and under-sink cabinets, a medicine cabinet, bathtub and spacious shower. There is an additional bathroom downstairs with a shower and toilet in the same room which is used primarily by Jory since his room is downstairs but everyone is welcome to use whichever bathroom they want. Unfortunately there is no garage spot but there is a space between the driveways on street which can be used to park in and it makes getting on and off the road easier than backing in and out of the garage. Basic utilities are electricity, water and internet. Electricity and water are billed every quarter and are split equally between everyone and internet is $15/month for unlimited ADSL2+. House work consists basically of vacuuming, mopping, emptying the bins, and taking the bins in and out on bin day. This is a group contribution but there is no strict schedule so it's usually done roughly weekly or whenever it needs to be done and everyone alternates. Weekly rent will be $152.50 per person excluding bills. As a guideline, electricity and water will be around $10 per week and internet is $15 a month each so weekly rent will be around $166. I keep to myself a lot but I do love a chat. I'm a fan of baking and will often have either a whole cake or the fixing for cake handy (I take orders) I'm a shift worker so there's the possibility of not even seeing me for weeks at a time if that's something you're looking for. I have an indoor cat called Turnip and he's more dog than cat. He loves cuddles and he'll meet you at the door after work. He's a bit of a sook. (The suburbs listed are just a bunch of randoms, I'm open to anywhere within 10-15km from Brisbane's CBD)

My place is less than 10klms from the CBD - it's two story, one living area and bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs. There's an extra toilet in the garage too. Small courtyard which I'm currently making more pretty 😂😀 foxtel and Aircon downstairs. Walk in robe, tv/DVD in your room (no foxtel connection there though) and a little balcony. My mini poodle Toby is in charge of the house. He is a space invader but is a delight. He goes to the dog park twice a day and joins me on weekend adventures out of house. If you work away more often than you're here, i would be willing to greatly discount the rent. May even be good for a sunnycoast worker needing a weeknight place to rest their head. Flexible on options, just would like it to be easy and stressfree for both of us.

I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. I've tried to change the settings on my profile but it didn't work so my apologies if you were searching for a flatmate. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.

Its 2 minutes walk to Everton Park shops. Theres heaps of restaurants in the area. The house is down a drive way so there is little to no noise pollution. the cupboard in the room is huge and the house itself is very modern. anyone is welcome! very quiet and friendly neighbourhood and 15 mins drive to the city.

The room is massive, had its own ensuite, balcony and mirrored build in robe, and the garage is also included. Its approx. 200m from Coles, Woolworths and Everton park cafes and restaurants, and the other end of the street is Brookeside shopping centre. The townhouse has a private, paved courtyard and is only one of three townhouses in the block (quiet and private). It is about a 15 minute drive to the city.
