About Me – Looking for a Peaceful, Long-Term Home Hi there! I’m a 44-year-old woman with a full-time career as a disability support worker. I also run my own small business, which means I occasionally work from home. After a busy day, I truly value coming home to a calm, clean, and respectful environment where I can recharge. I’m tidy, reliable, and pretty quiet – I’m not the type to have people over all the time, but I do enjoy visiting friends now and then. I keep my home neat and organised, and I’m a great cook (clean cook too!). I’d even be happy to cook or clean at a reduced rate if that’s something that helps in a shared living situation. I'm a deep sleeper so noise will not worry me at all. I’m a smoker, but strictly outside – you’ll never catch me sneaking one indoors. I might enjoy a quiet drink every now and then, but I’m definitely not a party animal. If I do go out with friends, I usually stay out for the night and return fresh the next day. My children are grown and living independently, but I do share my space with my two well-behaved little dogs, Trixie (10) and Poppie (1.5). They’re clean, quiet, and great company – not the yappy type at all! In general, I’m a happy, kind person with a good sense of humour. I respect personal space and move around the house quietly and thoughtfully – doors closed gently, music down low, etc. Because I talk to so many people during my workday, I really appreciate quiet time at home to recharge. I love a road trip or spontaneous adventure – and yes, the dogs come with me. 😊 If you think I’d be a good fit for your space or share house, I’d love to hear from you.
