Hey everyone! I'm moving to Darwin from Canberra for work and would love to find some great people to share a house with! I'm a relatively clean person, friendly, easy to get along with, and always up for a good time :) I love the outdoors, and am excited to explore the NT on the weekends! I don't expect I'll spend that much time at home between my 9-5 job and exploring on the weekends. I'd love housemates who enjoy a drink and a chat, but also enjoy their personal space too! I'm looking for anywhere within a reasonable distance from the city, so Parap, Fannie Bay, Larrakeyah, Woolner and anywhere around that are all great options (I also don't know Darwin too well yet!). I'll be ready to move in around mid-April, but move in date can be a bit flexible. Looking forward to meeting any potential housemates!
THE ROOM The room to offer is in a sunny townhouse at a fantastic location in Fannie Bay. The room is not large nor particularity small but definitely not suitable for a couple However it is perfect for a FIFO or a busy person not requiring a lot of bedroom space - hence the rental price The room has a large balcony (security screen door fitted) over looking a quiet park. Air-conditioning and fan are in the room and it also has large built in mirrored robes for ample storage. The room includes a double bed - linen is also provided if required. THE LOCATION Situated less than a two minute walk to the Fannie Bay shops and bus stops (to City and Casuarina Shopping Center). We are just around the corner from the bay itself with spectacular views of the Timor Sea and a short walk to both the Darwin Sailing Club and Darwin Trailer Boat Club. Great places to chill out on a Sat/Sun. THE PROPERTY The property is gated with security access in a complex of three. It has a pool (up keep costs shared), BBQ and an easy maintenance yard. There is a lockup garage available (suitable for a small vehicle or motorbike). All common areas are shared and there is a cleaning roster (bathrooms/kitchen) to adhere to. There is WIFI ($20 per month) in the home and Pay TV is connected. Power and water bills are shared equally every quarter. Two weeks bond is required prior to moving in and rent is paid weekly in advance by direct debit

I'm a 23yr old nurse moving to Darwin 17th April - for a job at Darwin hospital. Have rented since I was 19 so understand the whole logistics of it I love to socialise, meet new people, like exercising, yoga and love exploring and going on adventures to new places! Also love chilling out, reading a book or catching up on a series ;) Enjoy roommates company whether it be cooking meals together or going out for drinks Like my own time as well and am respectful to others who like/want their own time I'm super easy to live with, very chilled out and always neat and tidy and easy as to have a talk to
Hi, I'm Kendall. I'm 27, moving to Darwin in April 2018. I have recently got a job as a nurse in Palmerston. I have been living in Melbourne for 10 years and now looking for a bit of a change of scene. I have been renting since I was 18, and understand the housemate drill - I clean up after myself, respect other peoples privacy, don't hog the bathroom. Love having a chat and a drink after work or on the weekends.
Hi! I’m a single 22 year old full-time nurse working at the RDH ED. I have been living in a unit in Rapid Creek by myself for the past year but my current lease is ending towards the end of April and I’m wanting to move out and find some house mates and also bring my beautiful 4 year old border collie up from home (SA) - so pet friendly is a must. Have previously lived in sharehouses so know the drill, will always do my bit and keep the place clean and tidy. I’m relaxed, outgoing and enjoy casual drinks and hanging out. As much as I like to have fun and socialise I also enjoy my own time and will respect yours equally. Work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends but I’m a pretty good sleeper so as long as your favourite hobby isn’t tap-dancing we will get along fine. My furry friend (named Effie) is a friendly, short-haired border-collie who loves playing fetch. Has had obedience training and is usually pretty quiet and relaxed. Does get along with other dogs but not a fan of cats unfortunately. Feel free to message me with any questions :)
I’m a healthcare professional that is friendly and easy going. I enjoy keeping fit and active. I like socialising whether it be a meal out or a few cheeky drinks but then I am happy with my own company putting on a film or doing some art. I Would be a very respectful, tidy and a no dramas kinda person.
"The Hunky-Dory Residence" is open 24/7 365 days a year! ;) And why not staying longer than just a couple days? Our apartment is located right above the Fannie Bay Shops, so your way to the Supermarket would be just a 2 mins walk, the pizzeria is right underneath and the next bus station and ATM are just 1 min away. But the best thing ever: the ocean is close to touch and perfect for viewing the sunset or fishing. So much to do for free within walking distance like tennis, walking track around the beautiful East Point Area, a public swimming pool (newly upgraded), horse racing track at Fannie Bay Club and a lot more. The backside of our apartment includes 3 lovely bedrooms (each around 15squaremetres), a shared bathroom (the toilet is separated), a big shared commercial kitchen and a 360-terrace (smoking area) with a BBQ-grill and a wonderful oceanview. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and furnished if you want and we prefer someone who could stay for a short/longterm term, means from 2 weeks to a max of 12+ months, but we can talk about it. ;)
Hi! My name is Aly and I'm 29 years old with a with a bubbly and enthusiastic personality. I'm a working professional looking to share a house or apartment long term with one other or two people. I am clean, respectful and always keen to get involved with cooking etc. I love to relax at home with a wine and eating great food but also like to get outdoors or explore the city on the weekends. I'm really into hiking and yoga and keen to get involved with the Darwin lifestyle. I have lived in share houses for years and have never had any issues. Looking to move into a place the 1st week of April and start my new job on 9th April.
Hi there, I'm easy going, sociable and love keeping a healthy lifestyle. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place to live long term. I don't have pet but love them (particularly dogs). Cheers, Martin
Howdy! I'm a 23 year old female from Adelaide but am moving up to Darwin to work at RDH, arriving March 4th. I've lived in share houses for the last three years so I know the drill and am very easy going. I love travelling, boardgames, dogs, cooking/baking and camping adventures on the weekends. I'm respectful of everyone's space but would love to find a house with a communal atmosphere and housemates who I can share a meal or glass of wine with every now and then. Please be in touch if you think I'd be a good fit (: As I'm not arriving until March 4th and would like to look at your place and meet you before I sign up, please don't contact me if you need someone immediately. Thanks !
We are two paediatric nurses that will be moving up to Darwin in mid April. Hoping to find some people to find a share house with or existing share house. Our budget is $200 pw each maximum. We are looking for furnished properties and looking for a 6 month stay/lease or month to month. We have previously stayed in share houses and are used to the dynamics. Very respectful, laid back and familiar with shift work so we don’t throw parties. We love cooking and both very clean people. Also love socialising and excited to meet new people. We look forward to hearing from you. Emily and rose (the two on the left)
Hi, Kyle and i just came back travelling in Europe a few months ago and are now looking to share a place with some cool open mined people like ourselves. We are a relaxed couple but do like to have the odd beer after work and conversations with the other flatmates. We are a clean and tidy couple who dont shy away from work that needs to be done around the house.
Hello my name is Karrawa. I'm currently working full-time, have a 1 year old dog and looking for a suitable place to live. I have a natural friendly personality, enjoy watching tv series, hanging out with friends/family, walking my dog and dining out.
I'm in Darwin for an internship and am pretty interested in society at large. In Adelaide I got a little caught up in the Adelaide Festival season - (so I'm excited to chill out a little in Darwin). I really love music and like having quite a bit of fun. I’m in 5th year at Adelaide University and study law/ anthropology / French. I am tidy and like clean shared spaces - but I’m not particularly anal about cleanliness! Would love to meet some friendly locals or anyone that would be keen to tell me what’s what in Darwin!
I am originally from Poland. I work at hospitality industry and I am involve in Ambulance Service, so often you can see me with uniform. I study part time business. I don't smoke, I am really positive person. I am big fun of yoga and running.
Hi! 28 year old friendly female employed by NT Government as an Environmental Scientist. I enjoy an active lifestyle, including yoga, netball, listening to music, outdoor activities like camping, fishing and definitely a wine or two after work. I am seeking 1-2 fun housemates to team up with to find a new house to share. I am currently living in Palmerston as I enjoy having a garden and more space, and would be looking at somewhere in Gunn, Farrar, Durack, Bakewell, but I am flexible in moving closer to town also, Parap, Stuart Park, Woolner, Jingili etc if I find the right housemates. I own all furniture required for a house, just looking for some new housemates to apply with! I enjoy making friends with housemates but also enjoy my own space, so an occasional dinner and drinks together would be great! I have a friendly loveable cat (Tilly) to come with me, but she is a cool kid. Ideally looking for other social, young professionals who are tidy and clean, and willing to do their fair share of the housework. Would be great to put on some tunes and have a beer together on weekends or have a board game night. I also have a room for rent in my current house for $160 a week in Gray, Palmerston if you are interested, let me know!
I'm a happy go lucky 21 year old that has been living in the NT for the past 3 years. I am a full time student nurse and work part time doing administration in the health care sector meaning that I am often pretty busy during the week. I'm fun and outgoing, very friendly and have a very relaxed personality, making me easy to get along with. I am a very social person and love to keep myself busy on weekends, while also having my downtime. I'm super happy to chill out after work and uni and share a meal with my new housemate/housemates or have a chat but am also very respectful of personal space.
I'm looking for a room to rent from beginning of April until beginning of September, ideally close to the city centre, but I do love Parap area too. I am very friendly and easy to get along with, I like socialising but also love having my own personal space too. I am very clean, tidy and organised, and I love to cook. I work in the festival/event industry so I am out and about a lot for work. As I am only staying for 5 months, I am looking for a furnished room rather than unfurnished.

The photographs are of the house empty, however will be updated once furniture arrives. We also have one friendly dachshund darting about the yard.
