Greetings people of Darwin :) My name is Uli, I am a 27 year old professional cricket player and coach from South Africa , been living in Victoria for 6 months now , I am heading to Darwin on the 3rd of April to coach and play cricket at University Cricket Club. I have lived all around the world in various places on my own and with other people. I am well traveled and well cultured, respectful, kind, friendly and well mannered. Due to the Nature of my lifestyle meeting and getting on with new people is a constant in my ever changing location of residence. Interacting with people and sports people alike, socializing, training/exercising, coaching, playing cricket and part time work in Networking sidelines is what my daily time mostly consists of. Meaning most of my time is spent away. A number of great attributes make living with me pleasurable and quite easy, my time spent at home finds me mostly keeping to myself and catching up on personal chores, washing, cooking, tidying etc. Personal hygiene and surrounding cleanliness being a part of that. Being handy around the house is to good use too. I do have accommodation as well as friends and mutual contacts in Darwin so finding a place to stay is not a necessity, more of a personal choice in my journey as a travelling cricketer, I feel time spent at home should be enjoyed making great memories with great company, I am hoping to meet like minded people and explore the possibilities of doing so. having something great to come home to, even if its a home cooked meal that I've left over for you, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as my company:) I am positive and happy by nature and enjoy a good sense of humor as well as rubbing shoulders with the same. Very much an outdoors person makes for spare time enjoying the good things life has to offer, to me that would be camping, fishing, boating, golfing, motorcycling, beaching/swimming(not with crocs), exploring, etc. pretty much open to experiencing new activities and ways of life, hence my good culture. If you haven't fallen asleep or stopped reading my mini biography by now and would like to know more about me feel free to contact me. I will be looking to stay between 3 to 6 months. Open to a new or existing share. Quite excited to the next chapter in my stay in Darwin and look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes and Kind regards:) Uli
I spent the last four years in the Military so I am a very happy, sociable person. I'm very easy to get along with and always keen to find new friends. I am mature and will be respectful of house rules. I would like to find a flatmate(s) that are fairly sociable like me. I am currently studying a part-time Law degree (online) and have decided to do a working holiday in Darwin to explore a different, beautiful country. I love to swim so being close to a pool would be ideal. I intend to move to Darwin in April and find a job immediately. I plan to stay for at least 3 months and up to 1 year if all works out.
I'm Matthew. I'm 22 and will be moving to Darwin May/June for a new job opportunity. I'm looking for somewhere long term around Darwin CBD or suburbs in close proximity. Hello! I'm a 24 year old Canadian/Danish backpacker, who is looking for a place to stay in Darwin. I'm currently looking for a job, and I'll be staying in Darwin till August. I would describe myself as being laidback, clean, and easy to talk to. My interests are sports, travelling and music. Best, Mark
Originally from Adelaide, been in Darwin for a couple months now. I work Monday to Friday and spend most weekends out exploring Darwin. I'm pretty relaxed during the week and like going out to dinner or just watching tv and relaxing, but weekends i go out with friends for drinks and parties or camping and weekends away. Id like to find a furnished private room with a built wardrobe and prefer own bathroom or share with 1 other. Definitely need a car parking space. I only need short term rental as I have family who might be coming up to live in Darwin at the end of May and I'll find a place to live with them.
My name is Isabel Moten, I'm originally from Ballarat in Victoria and I have just moved to Darwin for work and to look at study. I'm 24 years old, I have an excellent rental reputation, I always pay my share of the bills on time, I clean up after myself, I'm friendly and out going but also respect the privacy and space of those living with me :)
Beautiful private unit in a quiet area, with facilities and water views all within walking distance. All rooms have new aircons and the unit is completely furnished but can be unfurnished if that's what you're looking for. NBN internet and someone to take care of the spa maintenance on a regular basis.
I'm from Sydney and will heading up to darwin for work April-August for a change of scene, however it may be longer. Working up to 80 hours a week isn't unusual for myself. I enjoy my career and get to see some great sights and meet some incredible people. I am neat and tidy with good personal hygiene. Partial to quality beers and scotches. I do not smoke, take short showers and firmly believe the toilet paper goes over, not under. I'll be bring my dog Cookie with me, she's impeccably trained (sit, drop, stay, up, down, get out, on your mat, drop....) and won't touch anything she's not meant to including a perfectly cooked ribeye steak on the coffee table. Her breed is closest to an Australian Shepherd. She is an outdoor dog that will only come inside when invited. I currently own a place in Sydney where I am currently letting out a spare room. My current housemate of 18 months can provide a reference if required.
Hello all, My name is Claire, I'm a 26 y.o Victorian making the move to Darwin to study teaching. I'm very neat and tidy, respectful of others and their belongings, and as I'll be studying pretty diligently I'll be relatively quiet during uni/work nights, however I'd still be keen to live with people that are social and friendly, who enjoy a drink and catch up over the weekend :) I've lived in share accommodation in Melbourne for 6 years so I know all the ins-and-outs of sharing with others. I'm just looking for a nice, tidy, simple place with housemates similar. I love bike-riding, reading, going for coffee, having a glass of wine at the end of a long day, and visiting the NT National Library is a passion. I'll be studying full time and be working part time, most likely in hospitality.
Im very social I enjoy good company. I like pretty much all types of foods and I enjoy cooking from time to time. I enjoy a few beers by a pool and also by the bbq. I like to keep the house clean....no mess. I am a Project co ordinator with the government. I enjoy fishing, golf, and camping.
I'm a good cook, responsible, generous and quiet. I have moved to Darwin for full-time work as a zoologist. I have a blind, friendly old dog who is extremely affectionate and obedient.
Hi, I do smoke but only outside and I am considerate to others, I also have a dog that is well behaved and use to other dogs. I am happy to help with keeping the house and property well maintained. I am also happy to help look after other room mates animals. I work full time and originally from the UK but I have lived in Australia since 2009. I enjoy socialising and even though I smoke I still keep fit. I am looking to live in or around Darwin and my moving date is flexible. Greg
We are two girls (28 and 31) looking for a new amazing housemate to join us in our large Parap apartment. The apartment is in a great location across the road from the Parap shopping centre (and Saturday markets) a short drive into the city and a nice walk to Fannie Bay and East Point. It is also incredibly quiet! The bedroom is a big size with built in mirrored robes, airconditioner and ceiling fan. The room is unfurnished. You would be sharing the large bathroom with the huge shower with one of us girls. Our apartment has a large open living area with a big kitchen and walk in pantry. We have a seperate laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Our open living area opens up onto the balcony which is great for enjoying the sunset! Our apartment also has a swimming pool available for you use :) We are both full time professionals and are looking for someone who also works fulltime. Ideally you would be mid-late 20's to early 30's. We are both very relaxed and easy going and are looking for someone who is the same. As we both work we keep things pretty quiet during the week. We are both pretty active in our sporting and social lives so weekends we tend to come and go. We enjoy entertaining and are happy for you to have your friends over and do the same. We share the odd meal and drink together and would be happy to have a housemate who enjoys the same. Please contact us through text or email only. No couples or backpackers. FIFO's more than welcome. Our apartment building is behind the quest which is an Inpex pick up and drop off point if you happen to work out there :)

Just moved to Darwin from Scotland to fill an assistant manager position for at least two years, looking for somewhere in or close to the city. I'm a clean and organised person who chips in their fair share around the house and You'll always see my smiling! Unless there's no beer then we have a problem...
