My preference is to share a house with a female roommates. Not keen on living in a property where home owners have crammed 5 people in and are charging them 300+ on rent because that is a rip off. I’d expect a lock on my door if it is a rooming house (the bare minimum in my opinion) I’m not keen on sharing with kids as I do value a quiet space. Also not keen on sharing space with a homeowner that still believes that I am a guest and hence can invade my privacy. I want to be treated like I am renting the place and in return will take care of your property, keep it clean, be respectful and pay all my bills.
