Hi everyone, I'm Sam Sharma, currently pursuing my Master of Teaching and Learning at Deakin University. I'm looking for a room to rent from 10-31 May 2025 while I complete my teaching placement at Horsham Secondary College. This initial 3 weeks program will be extended later for another 60-75 days after this 3 weeks period but at the moment I can pay advance for 3 weeks and stay this period only and later if our relationship is good, when in a few weeks longer placement required, then rent again subject to availability. I am a retired meteorologist with a PhD from Melbourne University and live in St Kilda Victoria permanently and despite paying full rent may be going back over the weekend is need be. I have sober habits (no drinking or smoking( no parties just study and school work and away whole day in school) and have no car at the moment but have been driving and have license, so a place close to bus transport or near the school would be ideal. My budget is $450-600 plus costs for the entire 3 weeks payment in advance. I'll be away at school daily, only needing the room to sleep and do my lesson planning. If there's a shared kitchen, I'll cook my own food. Additionally, I will need to rent a place for about 60 days after June. Every weekend I will go back to Melbourne by early morning Saturday train and come back late Sunday. Presently, I live in Melbourne and am unable to travel there daily, so I need your assistance. As an academic and writer, I pose no issues with alcohol, noise, or TV—you won't even know I'm there as I'll be studying in my room or be in the local library, and away during the day 7 AM to 5 PM then to local library till it closes at 8 PM probably.
