Hi! I'm moving to Melbourne from Hobart and looking for a house that i can slot easily into! Even though i have a few friends already in Melbourne, ideally i am looking for a house that is also a 'home', and I would want to be good friends with my housemates! I'll be working full time in South Melbourne but am willing to commute for the perfect house. I like going for beers at any opportunity i can, but also having a quiet night in. I like crafts and have my own little side business for fun, I play drums in a Hobart band (playing in Melb in Nov!) and am looking forward to finding my go-to coffee breakfast/coffee stop for those sunday mornings. I have lived in many share houses (went to uni in Brisbane) so I am very respectful of peoples spaces and love a clean shared area.
Hey! I'm a 25 year old female professional that has recently relocated from Sydney for a new full time job, after studying Nutrition/ Food Science at uni. I'm looking to live near the cafe/ bar atmosphere with housemates that are social with each other and enjoy a glass of wine or a chat after work or watch tv/ netflix together. I'd love to be friends with my housemates, as I am new to the city! Once I am more settled here, I will look at joining a gym/ yoga, and love visiting markets or shopping on the weekend. I would like to live somewhere close to the bar/ cafe/ restaurant scene, with good public transport, but that is also quiet at nighttime, and ideally has free parking. If you have pets, this a definitely a bonus, though I do not have any. My preference is to have one female and one male roommate around the same age as me, but I am open to all other options!
Hey! I'm LGBT+ friendly, love animals, love studying the humanities and politics and all that fun stuff. I love hikes and walks and adventuring, but also love food and not getting out of bed until 1 pm. Partying is super fun, but I will be studying at university so also prioritise chill time. I'm clean af and love cooking meals, except suck at desserts so that won't be my job sorry! Gilmore Girls and SLik D are my lyf. xo
I'm a 24 year old Melb Uni student looking for a room in a sharehouse. I'm clean, quiet and looking for the same in housemates. I'm queer and vegan, don't mind if you don't like vegans as long as you're gud w the queer thing lmao. Would love housemates with similar interests and who like hanging out but I'm eager to move out asap so pretty much anything in my price range/area will be great! I also have a car for late night food runs if it sweetens the deal. *I'm Trans/SW/Mental illness friendly too!* Feel free to message me if you want more info!
Hey! I'm Ben, 29 and working in sales. I'm in the process of relocating to Melbourne, from Sydney, for work. I'm flying down to Melbourne from 5-12 July to look for a new home, with a move in date of around 22 July. Interests include art, design (interior, architecture), health, fitness, cooking (love to cook) and travel. Planning on studying Interior Design at RMIT next year while working full time, so will be kept busy. A standard week for me is filled with work and gym, yoga etc after work. I eat out a couple of times a week with mates. On the weekends I like to get out and about - looking forward to exploring new places around town. I enjoy a drink or two on the weekends though not a partier. I don't watch a huge amount of TV - tend to prefer music and reading but have gotten into a few series on Netflix before (loved the US version of Shameless!). I'm clean and tidy around home too, happy to pitch in with cleaning or pay for a cleaner.
Hi, This is Blue from Taiwan. I am a early 30s female, recently just finished school and work full-time in a pastry kitchen in Fitzroy (would like to move closer to where I work now). I am really into yoga, relatively quiet but easygoing as I traveled many countries for the past years. I plan to move in the end of July and will stay over 6 months. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Blue :)
Hey! I'm George :) I'm from Scotland and I've arrived in Melbourne and I'm looking for a fully furnished place to move in ASAP within reasonable distance from the CBD. I have a 6 month contract so will be looking for leases of around 6 months preferably! I'm friendly and outgoing. I'm very clean and tidy (And would like my flatmates to be also) and love cooking so would be more than happy to cook for my housemates now and again :) I also always pay my bills on time and I am very reliable. I work Monday - Friday standard business hours. Midweek I go to the gym after work and chill watching TV in the evenings, I wouldn't mind a bit of socialising with my housemates also :) On weekends I enjoy a drink, going out for food and doing a bit of sightseeing/travelling! I'm looking to share with like minded people of a similar age. If you think I may be a good fit for your place, get in touch! :) Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, George
The place is a two bedroom, one bathroom and one car park apartment located in central Fitzroy just off from Brunswick and Johnston Street, super close to every thing you could need, Coles, 7/11, bars and more! The rental price is split and is $250 each a week (the whole property is $500 a week) and the apartment is on a lease till January 2018 so if your interested you'll need to be on the lease. Bills are paid every three months. If you interested in having a look let me know and I will be more than happy to arrange a time for you to have a look. Im moving out of my current place in Fitzroy to move to Sydney for a new job.
Hey guys! Going back home and travelling for 6-7 weeks (so 08/07 to 21/08) and sub-renting my room in this awesome place. The flat is REALLY big and all new and shiny with wooden floors, a lot of sunlight, and rich people's furniture. We had the question before, and yes it is actually as nice as on the pictures ;-) It used to be a warehouse in the old days of Fitzroy and was made into a very nice apartment at some point. The location makes it a perfect balance between a quiet street and the animated life of Fiztroy at the doorstep. It has build-in wardrobe, a bed and the flat come fully furbished. Bills all included - including dear unlimited internet! The bathroom is shared with a male (the other lucky one has its own bathroom upstairs) The kitchen has all the appliances, including integrated fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, drier... and stainless steel gas cook. Large marble benches for the cooks :)

Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni, ideally within 15 mins of the uni by bike. I'd prefer to stay for atleast the duration of my course, which has two semesters left. Move date would be sometime during the semester break in July as I have to give 2-3 weeks notice. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.

My fiancé, Dylan, and I are relocating in November from interstate and are looking for a short term living arrangement while getting ourselves settled in Melbourne. We are both professionals with tertiary qualifications, neat, friendly and love a good meal. We have both lived out of home for over 5 years so are quite independent.... plus, Dylan is a qualified pastry chef so maybe he will cook you a dessert or two 😊🍰

My name is Vincent, working full time as an Engineer. If I were to describe myself as a flatmate it would be that I am very considerate, approachable, easy going and always down to meet new people. I also love animals and don't mind living with them, so definitely a plus if you have any :) I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities from board games, gaming and movies to camping, hiking, surfing, gigs and travel. If are interested to know more about me, or believe that I would be a good fit for your house please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Vincent
We're an easy-going, professional and friendly couple from the U.K. We like to chat and have a few drinks here and there but are equally comfy keeping ourselves to ourselves. We're hoping to find nice people to share a place with for 3+ months likely up to 6 or more.
