Easy going, respectful, clean and tidy. 30 year old professional: Emergency/Critical Care Veterinary Nurse. Loves a chat after work, cooking, going out for dinner/drinks, exploring the city and meeting new people.
Hi, we´re a colombian couple studying commercial cookery here in Melbourne. We´re very friendly and easy going, don´t smoke and like quiet and clean places to live. We love biking, frisbee ultimate and almost all types of music.
Hi I are from Perth. My wife and daughter will remain in Perth while I to Sydney to work for 3 months. Work is a little slow over here in Perth and the opposite in Sydney. I will be working as much as possible including Saturdays. Leaving early in the morning to start work. I install Elevators and Escalators and will be working for Otis Elevators. Not sure what I will be doing in my spare time there. I like to ride bikes or maybe get a gym membership to keep myself occupied.
PLEASE NOTE IT IS THE LARGER ROOM AVAILABLE- one medium sized (fit Queen bed) in beautifully renovated 3 bedroom Victorian worker's cottage in Flemington. We're two young professionals, Adam, 44, the homeowner - starting up my own marketing business from home. And Jimi from Bangladesh, mid 20's who is studying and working part time. We're a very musical household. We are ideally looking for someone who plays an instrument, the idea being to have a bit of a regular musical get-together happening, but if you're non-musical that's no problem. But you will hear the sound of people practising within normal daytime hours. We're very open minded, queer-friendly, and we've had LOTS of foreign students join us here over the years, any nationality, any ethnicity, any sexual orientation, you are welcome within these walls. We're welcome to the option of reasonably short terms stays, so long as your planning being here at least six months - leasingrooms is REALLY boring ... Rooms feature polished floorboards, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe. The home is fully kitted out, with gas-fired central heating, unmetered wifi internet, loads of excess storage space if required. Close to everything! Walk to your choice of 2 train stations (Upfield or Craigieburn lines) or 2 trams (Route 57 & 59)! Walk to supermarket and Racecourse Rd shops and cafes, huge parkland right at end of street. Walk to Flemington Farmers Market (Melbourne's best, they say!!) Bike paths everywhere, including off-road all the way to Docklands/CBD. CityLink right on your doorstep - 15 mins to airport or easy access to the rest of Melbourne.
Hey, My names Craig, I have recently got a new job in Melbourne so I am making the big move from Sydney after living there for nearly 7 years. I plan on crashing with a friend initially until I find somewhere and then get all my furniture shipped that I have put in storage. I am looking for a like minded person to team up with and possibly someone that can show me the ropes having never lived in Melbourne before. A bit about me - I'm a 30 year old pommy with residency after living over here for 7 years. I work shift work as an aircraft engineer at the airport (4 on 4 off) (soon to be Tullamarine). I enjoy socialising on my days off, enjoying a drink or two. I respect peoples space and I am very clean and tidy and a non smoker. I am big sports fan too, mainly football (soccer) but I am willing to embrace the AFL culture! I am after a nice spacious apartment with at least one car park and two bathrooms. I am hoping to find somewhere close enough to the city so I can enjoy what Melbourne has to offer. I have been looking in the Fitzroy and Carlton area but I am open to suggestions. The commute to work will also have a deciding factor though. If the above sounds like something you're interested in, shoot me a message. I will be in Melbourne from 26th March onwards. Cheers Craig
hellooo, I’m Jenna, i’m a 19y/o 2nd year BSc student studying at UoM and i’ve just moved to Melbourne from Perth! I’m looking at getting part time work when i get settled in a place to live, aiming for a bakery (so i can hit you up with all that free bread)! I’ve had some experience in a sharehouse as i’m currently in a house but it’s a bit far to commute to uni. So i am looking for a place either in walking distance to UoM or with a short commute! I enjoy cheap wine, cheesy netflix movies and tv shows, food, makeup and all the general good things!
Hey! I'm Lara. I'm from New Zealand and I've lived in Melbourne for nearly 4 years. I'm easygoing, reliable with rent and bills, and I'm looking for a place in the northern-west suburbs. I've been house sitting around Melbourne for the last few years, so am keen to settle down somewhere for at least 6 months, or even longer if it's a cool place. I'm looking for a place where I have my own bathroom. I love music, travelling, theatre and film, reading, and yoga. I'm vegetarian, but it's not a problem for me if you eat meat. I work full time in the city, and I'm often out in the evenings at gigs or with friends. I'm tidy and respectful, and keen to find something soon!
I am from Hyderabad, India. I shall be starting my Masters course in Publishing and Communications from the University of Melbourne in February. Easy-going. Considerably neat. Approachable. An avid reader. Serious about my studies and career. But, wouldn't miss out on opportunities to explore the city, as well as the country, and meeting new people.
Hey Flatmates! I'm moving from my hometown of Perth to Melbourne to satisfy my yearning to live in a larger city -- I'm an avid writer, artist, and world-traveller who will soon be studying secondary English education at La Trobe University, and I'm definitely interested in team-ups with other artists and students in general. I'm typically pretty extroverted, and despite my (relative) youth, I can assure you that I'm a highly considerate, respectful, clean, and responsible housemate who will always pay the rent on time. I'm open to all living situations (male, female, non-binary, LGBTQ+, pet friendly, etc.) and I'm certainly down to hang, seeing as I don't know a soul in the city. Move in date and preferred length of stay are definitely flexible, and so are my preferred suburbs, and although I'd rather live somewhere a little more vibrant and central, I'm totally willing to compromise for the right roommates and living situation. Looking for something around $150 a week, but I can go higher depending on the circumstances. Open to both private and shared rooming at this stage. Pleased to meet you!
Hey! My preference is a private bedroom with own bathroom. I also have a car so off-street parking would be ideal however not necessary if on-street parking is readily available! Am looking at suburbs between Maidstone/Maribyrnong/Moonee Ponds to the city, however I work in Abbotsford so anywhere from the city out to Kew is great too. I'm a full time worker with the standard 9-5 workday. Young at heart 35 year old who's easy going, tidy, clean and considerate of others. I usually spend weeknights bingewatching Netflix in my room with social activities happening on weekends - visiting family, catching up with friends for lunch/movie/dinner, etc. May have a rare late night out on a Saturday but won't bring the party home and I promise I'll be quiet when entering the house! Happy to have a chat/drink/takeout if our schedules line up. Let me know if you think we'd get along :)
I am a 17 year old female currently studying at VCE at RMIT. I'm very friendly, easygoing and tidy. When I'm not at school or studying I like to hang out with my friends, go to events in and around Melbourne and go to the cinemas. I can cook a decent spaghetti bolognese (veg or not-veg), love pets and love nature.
I am a second year student at The University of Melbourne. I'm easy going and friendly, I enjoy music, sports, cooking and socialising. I'm always clean and tidy and very open minded!
Hi all, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to stay for the semester ideally within 15 mins of Uni by bike. I can move in from the 24th but not sure if I can stay past July end. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but sorted out chocolate chunk cookies in the process. My next semester is looking to be quite busy with me taking a vocational placement on top of couple of courses at Uni. With weekends being filled by cricket, socializing, occasional night outs and hopefully tennis, I should be out of the house most of the time.
I'm Karen, a full-time working professional for an organisational culture management company as a risk engineering consultant and Matt is a full-time student at Victoria University. We both just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new interesting people and make friends! :D We like to talk about current events and discuss them to share ideas and viewpoints while also being real goofballs and giggling over the dumbest shit. We love animals!!! So if you have a pet, no problem! I had 16 dogs at one point of my life, and Matt is a cat-cuddler professional. We're hoping to get a place that is warm and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. Matt is very warm and happy while I can get a little bit locked up in the room playing video games to get my happy barometer up :-) We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
I'm a 29 y/o Kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. I work four days a week in the CBD. In my free time I like catching up with friends and also have a few hobbies that occupy my interests at home. I like to keep common areas of a house tidy and clean, and happy to have a chat and a laugh or a watch of something on Netflix when the opportunity arises with flatmates. I think most previous and current flatmates would say I'm easy to get along with and I like to think I'm respectful and easy to live with! Give me a buzz if you think it sounds like I'd fit into your situation :D
Hi there ! I'm a full time worker having a little bit of a change of life situation with a recent long term relationship break up. Time to move out to be able to move on.. I'm quite social but also very independent. I have a day job and an evening job too. I enjoy a couple of drinks to socialize and having a good convo. Looking for nice friendly people to share a house with. Feel free to message.
I am pretty much a free spirit person, my motto is if life is really short, then why not enjoy the hell out of it. Very recently moved to Melbourne from Tassie, this is my beginning of 4th year living in Straya. I am pretty Aussie now to this point. Before I used to live and study in Ontario, Canada. Going to continue my electrical engineering degree in RMIT or La Trobe once my transferring process is done. I love music, movies, funny things, cute things, tasty things, and meeting new people. Outgoing and sensible if I do say so myself. :) The Location I am looking is pretty much anywhere within 10 km to CBD if possible.
