It is a large furnished bedroom approx 4 x 4 metres in a renovated brick house with heating, fans & air conditioning. Queen bed. There is a back yard & barbecue. It is close to public transport and shopping centers. The kitchen is available for use.
I'm a first year student studying Psych and Criminology at University of Melbourne. I'm into video games, anime and TV shows and if i'm not doing any of those, i'm probably studying or napping. I'm also really into art (drawing and painting) and I love animals! I'm super easy going, clean and I'm happy to hang out and have a chat or watch a movie every now and then. I can also speak Japanese (which is pretty cool imo). I also have a cert 3 in child care, and hoping to get a part-time position when I return. I'm currently living in a share house with 4 other people and I get along really well with my current housemates. I'm currently in Queensland visiting my family I'll be back on the 22nd July - I'm hoping to be able to move in when I get back. I'm not fazed on whether or not a place is furnished, and I'd prefer to stay around 5/6 months, as I'm most likely going to be heading back to Queensland for Christmas holidays mid December. Any suburb within a 30 minute tram/train ride from Uni/CBD would be fine for me. My max budget is about $170 - $180 with bills included. I dont own any pets, however I'd like to move into a pet friendly household as I was hoping to get a bird or 2 in the near future, but of course that's not a necessity, aha. I may have my 2 bffs or my parents visit me for a holiday, so I'd prefer housemates that would be okay with that! Thank-you! :)
I work full time as a sex worker. Monday-Friday 10am-6pm in a brothel. I do not work from home. Looking for private rent/sublet only. Furnished, or at least just a bed. I am quiet and do my own thing but also happy to share a meal every now and then. Looking to live with open minded people. Must be close to a tram stop or train station. No buses.
Hi all, Looking for a sharehouse to call home long term. Finding people to hang out with at the end of a long day is the most important part of my search. I bring a lot of excellent qualities to the table such as being a bit OCD with cleanliness and providing NSFW dinner banter. I work full time in Advertising, so realistically if the house is rowdy past 10pm on week nights I'm probably not who you're looking for. But it'd be nice to hang out with the 'fam' at the end of a bad day - rather than having opposing schedules where we say hey on the occasion. I have a car, so on street or off street parking is essential. I'm not big into partying so you won't find me at clubs, but you can guarantee that I'll be at the football every weekend (don't be intimidated all-male households). Throw me a message if you think I'd be a good fit or just want to talk nonsense over gin and cheese. Em
This a gorgeous two bedroom fully furnished unit (bedroom to rent is not furnished). The home is close to trams, cafes, Union Road in Ascot Vale and is close to Highpoint shopping centre. The unit is modern with double bedrooms (BIRs), modern bathroom with shower and bath. Separate laundry and toilet, stylish kitchen with new oven, open plan to spacious dining and living room. Sliding door to private courtyard. Air condtioning and ducted heating.
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate to the inner suburbs. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be a studying full-time at RMIT starting in July and hoping to make that a priority. I tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games in my free time and prefer to take my socialising outside so I make a quiet housemate. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a good chat or hanging out together now and then! I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. My move-in date is negotiable if I find a room/housemates I really like, but I do have to give a 1-months notice at my current place and paying 2 rents at once would really test my budget. Please let me know if you think you have a place for me :)
I am very responsible and abide by the house rules happily. I've just moved from the Gold Coast where I spent 6 months in the same house without ever having caused problems to neither any of the tenants nor the landlady. One of my few specifications is that it has all the bills and internet included in the rent.
Hey all! A little about me - I'm 22 (I don't consider myself an old soul but you know, thought I'd drop a line anyway), I currently work full time as a hairdressing apprentice (free cuts 4 everyone once I learn) I've lived in Melbourne for about 5 years now, my lease is ending at my current place and I've decided it's time for a fresh start and to meet some new people. I'm a bit of a homebody through the week as I work long hours, but I am always down for wine and dinner and a chat to wind down at the end of the day. Definitely down for a beer or 9 on the weekends. I'm super clean and tidy, and very respectful of everyones space. I'm really looking to move somewhere I can call home, not about another short stay. Would love to come by and meet everyone and have a cup of tea if you think I sound like a match! Chat soon Harry
We are looking for a decent and modern and private room en-suited with bathroom and kitchen . I am IT professional , and my wife is a dental assistant and we are non-smoker , super clean and have no pet .
New in Melbourne from Vancouver, Monash Uni researcher, looking to find potential roommates (1, max 2) to team up to rent a two/three bedroom apartment/house in south yarra or st kilda (other areas close to CBD is also considered). I am a very tidy, clean, reliable and responsible person and a considerate one who respects people privacy and space. My regular workdays routine is mainly work/school and Gym from ~7am to ~8pm, then home cooking, watching Netflix, etc till around 11pm. On Saturdays I normally visit friends over hiking or exploring the city (parks, beaches, restaurants and coffee shops, etc.). Sundays with doing groceries/laundry/cleaning, etc. feel free to contact me to see if we could potentially be housemates. Cheers
22 years old german girl searching for a place to stay in beautiful Melbourne for about 3 months (October to December). I am employed during that time and working in Southbank. I've studied Psychology in Germany and now I would like to explore Australia. I am an easy-going, funny, tidy and clean person who likes to travel (obviously), go out or watch Netflix. Got experience with living with flatmates in Germany as well as in Ireland. I am not a great cook but I will try my best to get us filled. Looking forward to your message! Best regards from Germany, Chiara
Our housemate Will will be leaving us for Canberra on July 17 so we're looking for a housemate to occupy our cosy 3rd bedroom. The house is located opposite Debney Park, is less that a 5 minute walk to the 59 and 57 trams / a 10 minute walk from Flemington Bridge Station / a 10 minute walk from Newmarket Station and Shopping Centre. We're super close to Melbourne CBD. It has two stories and includes two living areas, two bathrooms, a laundry and a courtyard out the back. Melissa works in the city and Gabe is self employed and works from home. Room is ideal for students and people in creative fields. Rent is super cheap at $552.33 per month + bills. Bond is $500. Looking for someone to fill the room long term (for a minimum of 1 year), who is willing to go on the lease If you're interested in checking out the house, please pm to organise
Upbeat and easy-going kiwi girl, with a great sense of humour, looking for a nice-natured flat vibe. I work full time in the city, as well as having creative interests on the side. I'm sociable and friendly, yet respectful and considerate of others and their space. Non-smoker. Looking for an unfurnished room with ensuite and near a train :)
Hello potential housemates, I'm Rob study construction management at RMIT and work in construction company in docklands Monday to Friday. I'm mostly occupied on the weekends with my uncles restaurant as I help out. I try to stay fit and go to gym after work (but sometimes too tired to go. So if you're active that'll be extra motivation). I'm not a party animal. Just the occasional drink with work mates (and maybe potential house mates). And yeah. That's about it.
Hello! My name is Hadrien, I'm a Franco-American architecture student moving from Vancouver to Melbourne for a study abroad term! I'm very friendly and responsible, will most likely be working quite a bit but always open to having a good time. I can definitely understand wanting privacy as well and will respect that fully. I'll be new to the city so will be exploring it as much as possible!
**Please no messages from people who are renting rooms like cattle. Also don't waste our time with rooms that are way over my budget. $165 is an inclusive number. I might go a few bucks higher if i got everything i asked for. But $200+ i can get my own place.*** Hi there, I work at Crown Casino and am Permanent Part-Time for 6.5yrs. I do shift hours, so it's 2mnth of Days (12midday-8pm generally) then 2mnth of Nights (8pm - 4am generally). As I work these hours, I enjoy some gaming, and love watching movies and TV. I'm very easy to get along with, and I'm not too fussed about anyone's lifestyles. I am allergic to pets. I love animals, but things with fur make me sneezy. I cleanup after myself, but I can't do gardening due to allergies (I'm happy to help pay for cleaners or Gardeners..or some similar arrangement). I'm very sociable, and its a rare person whom I can't get along with. My hobbies include Music Production (I have the whole setup and would love to help someone). Acting (I spent many years pursuing the dream then got a little disheartened, but hoping to re-enter). Online Gaming (I only play Battlefield..not a pro). I love long chats, especially when a few drinks are involved, and I love a good Barbie. The reason for moving is the house I've been in for over 8yrs, is being taken off the rental market as the owner is having a divorce and needs to move back in. WHY YOU WANT ME: 1/ Pay on Time. 2/ Steady Employment. 3/ No Criminal record (can't have my job with one) 4/ You will have a lot of freedom to live your life without having to ask if I'm OK with it (IE: weekend drinks with friends...etc) 5/ Tidy and space efficient 6/ GREAT listener. 7/ Funny 8/ Reliable and friendly. 9/ Non-Passive Aggressive. I won't leave notes or bs that makes you feel uncomfortable. I'll just politely say something to you if something bothers me, and try and work out a solution, and I hope for the same. 10/ Damn...I'm struggling now, but i cant leave it at 9 can I hahaha...OH, I always put the Toilet seat DOWN (spent 8yrs with 2 women, and I'm well trained. YEAH pulled that one out at the last minute...hehehe) WHAT I WANT: 1/ No shared walls (as in non-brick)...If I have to play games or watch things in my room while you sleep, that's fine...but I need to use VOIP. 2/ Ideally a car park space. Also in my dream world, a lock-up Garage (in case I don't sell my Old Bedford Van that was being restored). 3/ Social people. The reason I'm not just getting my own place, is I don't really want to be alone (sounds needy, I'm not hahaha). I like people who want to go have a drink, a meal, or maybe play some Poker (I even have a couple of poker tables and chips). 4/ INTERNET!!! OK, so if it's included in bills but isn't awesome then I would want to upgrade to my current standard (I'm happy to cover excess if price posses an issue) OR a separate connection. I'm even OK with being the provider, but good internet is a must have for me... Mostly because when you're home awake at 4am, and everyone is asleep, the internet is your best friend hahaha. 5/ No spelling Nazi's ;) 6/ I'd love to live with creative people who may work in those fields. I'd love to have a go at stand-up, and as I said, I'd like to get back into acting. (obviously these are just wants..not T&C's lol) 7/ Room Big enough for a King size Mattress and a desk. Anyhow....I'm short of time, so don't really have any focus on TeamUps, but if you have found a place..and think I'm perfect, please contact me. 8/ I am open to anywhere from 3 months up to 1yr. I've paid for Full Membership because I am serious. I also check several times a day. Cheers. Kirk (P.S: Suburbs are open, but just surrounding. I want to be able to get to CROWN, leaving at 6pm on a Saturday night, by 7pm. (via my new Car :D ) (P.S.S: Outside Smoker ONLY. ) (P.S.S.S: I'm pretty sure I still have the Mexican hat, and I am even willing to give that to the winner of what is the game of "Help me not be homeless" game hahaha...
Hi! My name is Alec. I'm sociable but I'm not looking for a party house. I'm also super clean, tidy and reliable financially. I work in the health industry 4 days p/wk & I'm also doing postgraduate studies @ VU. Sound good? Then please do not hesitate to msg me, and I will respond as soon as I am able to. Thank You...
hey, my names Brenden i'm currently in a share house in Heidelberg west with a few other friends who i have now lived with for about two years. Looking for somewhere preferably closer to uni which is in Footscray, i also currently have a part time job at woolworths so will be able to meet rent requirements pretty easily. At the moment i'm trying to get experience in sports training, also a fairly easy person to live with and am not really bothered by much.
Hi there! I'm a bubbly 25 year old gal looking for a room to rent. Currently working full time in retail, and studying accounting part time. I enjoy a glass of wine (or two) by the end of the week. Really chill and easy to talk to, but I do enjoy my own space - much like anyone else. Super respectful and mindful of others, as I hope you are too, clean and tidy. My background is Vietnamese and my mum is the most incredible cook. No doubt you'll be able to sample some of her recipes. Can't wait to hear from you! Maria
