Hi all, Just moved to Australia from NZ 6 months ago. A little about me: - Loves good drink on the weekend (every now and then a cheeky mid-weeker) - Relaxed personality - Respectful of the place (i.e. reasonably tidy, doesn't have to be spotless) - Like to be able to hang out with the people I live with - Love to get in some skiing when I can, and kickboxing when I can afford it - Working full time at an incredibly fun office - Serious addiction to travel and everything foreign Ideally I want somewhere close enough to town that I can run into work in the mornings (and not kill myself doing it, 5km or less is fine!) Not bothered at all by age, race, sexual orientation or occupation - just keen to find some good sorts that I can get along with. No hard and fast move date either, I am in a flexible living situation so can move out whenever. Finding the perfect place is more important than the move date. Hit me up!
I am an exchange student from University of Copenhagen (Denmark, born and raised as well) and currently studying at University of Sydney. Since I got chinese roots, I speak a little cantonese beside Danish and English with an undefineable accent ;). I am studying Master of Pharmacy and going to stay here until end November. (Cliché alert!) I am a chill person who likes to travel and foooood ;). I am a very social person who likes to hang out with other people, eating together (home or restaurant), watch a movie, play some FIFA, go on trips, go on bars etc. and respecting other persons privacy at the same time. I have lived in a dorm the last 4 years, so I know how to behave in a shared house and keep everything tidy. I am primarily looking for a place with other persons/students who are social and would like to make the place a home and not just a hotel and perhaps discover Sydney/Australia together.
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney. The lease at my current place is about to finish up and I'm looking for a change of scenery! I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better!
Sweet home Modern good quality, and quiet tidily 2-- storey house in Forest Lodge Features: big size, private room with build in wardrobe, New painted. Hi, I am Jennifer (22) and a student at the University of Mannheim. At the moment I am living in a residence with two students (Philipp and Clara). I will spend my practical semester from 1st September 2017 till 13th March 2018 at the University of Sydney to work at the Faculty of Pharmacy. I am looking for a privat room with nice roommates interested in hanging out and having a great time together. I have a bride interest in everything in my spare time. I like different sports like soccer, volleyball, running. I hear you have some great beaches with nice surfspots. I want to improve my skills. And what is the best as a student? The reduced rates when you go clubbing. To my person, I can say that I am open for any adventurous experience, be super cooled and have a sense of humor. I am looking forward to hearing from you and feel free to contact me at any time. See you soon :)
Professionally run lodge (guest house) ; providing clean, secure, serviced accommodation for students , travelers and working professionals at great value price. Rooms have TV, fridge , full linen provided, WiFi, All areas are serviced and cleaned daily
Im salman, I'm an International student at Macquarie University, studying Accounting and Finance. I'm a Pakistani but brought up in South Africa and Zambia. I'm easy going, social, friendly, non-smoker, no pets and clean person. Length of stay would be long term.
Hey there, Im looking to sublet a room in wonderful Forest Lodge (Glebe) for the month of September. Moving in a few days earlier could be an option. The house is right next to Sydney University, and around the corner from Glebe pt road shops and restaurants, walking distance to Central, and Redfern train stations. The best pub in Sydney Forest Lodge Hotel (personal opinion) is literally across the road. The room is on the second floor, with a large furnished loft bedroom (with queen bed, desk etc etc)and a balcony adjoining it, which is part of the room and not for the other housemates. Space for clothes and all possessions aplenty. Personal items that you see on the picture will be removed, of course. The house is massive, with everything you need already here. Internet, kitchen stuff, 2 bathrooms. Bills & Internet is included with unlimited data and good speeds. It is a great place. There is an option of a lockup garage as well, but would be another $30 additional p/wk To secure I'd need a down payment/deposit/bond of $560, 2 weeks rent.
Hi, my name is Lucy and I am an international student from England here to study at the University of Sydney for a year. I am looking for a place either near the campus or closer to the beach to share with people 20s-30s. I am studying Chemistry and Maths in my 3rd year so will be at uni every weekday due to a heavy workload and lecture timetable. I tend to be quite busy so am unlikely to spend loads of time in the house. I love being outdoors in the sunshine (hence the move to Oz from England!!) and am into health and fitness so would spend quite a bit of free time swimming, hiking, running and potentially surfing! I am a Christian and will be looking to get involved with a church in Sydney too. I am volunteering with some missionaries in based in Tasmania over summer so have listed duration of stay as 4months - however I am flexible on this and may be able to sign for a full year. I am organised, tidy and like spending time with people but also like to have my own space to work and relax. I am not a party person and generally prefer to go out for brunch or a coffee than to the pub (except for when the rugby is on). I am happy to answer any questions or give more info on request :)
Finishing up my last bit of uni in the next 6 months. I'm big on cleanliness (not neurotic) and I'm pretty quiet. Have been at the whole share house deal for about four years now, so if you're not kicking on after 3 on weeknights then we'll get on swell.
You may be looking at my name, Seamus (Shay-Mis), and wondering how such a dark fellow has a very Irish name, the short answer is I am Irish Indian, you will have to hit me up for the long story. I have lived in Australia since I was 2 and grew up mostly in Newcastle. I have spent the last 6 years in Sydney and call it home. I work in advertising as a creative (which does mean long hours). Personality wise I am kind, considerate and pretty chilled. Socially, I don't mind a hang everyonce in a while but I also respect people's space especially after a long day of work. I also like to keep a clean house. Anyway, stop reading this and send me a message.
- Moving in September 25 - Full-time employment - Been living with people from different culture since 2008 (England, Nigeria, Cameroon, Australia ) - Well mannered (I blame the English for this one) and considerate. - Not a party animal but sociable - Into fitness - 25 yo Cameroonian - Yeah we used to be good at soccer :( - French Speaker - Furnished
Have been living in the inner west for a good part of 5 years now. Tale as old as time - originally from ADL and moved here for work. Currently living it up in Erksineville and am looking to stay in the inner west area as much as possible. So me...I work in IT/Finance (pretty standard 8-6 hours). Am a bit of a foodie (love to cook but equally happy for a fine dine) and am a craft beer nut (who doesn't love a brewery crawl). Im pretty easy going, very clean, always up for a chat, wine or binge watch of a Netflix show.
Hey dudes, my name's René and am originally from New Zealand. I'm 23 which seems old as for a student these days. I'm in post-grad nuclear medicine but might go full med school if I can get my shit together (unlikely but who knows). I finished my undergrad end of 2014 and have worked a fair bit since then, so I don't have to drink $2.99 wine anymore. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A beer and low quality chat sesh every now and then doesn't go amiss however. I guess my schedule is pretty irregular, but not like getting in at 3am irregular. In my spare time (hah) I'm busy with sporting commitments, work and doing things you can't do in Australia Lite. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary.
Stylish and modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the new Harold Park complex, next door to Tramsheds and a short walk to the light rail and Glebe Point Road. Large balcony with views of the courtyard. You would have your own bedroom with access to the balcony, built in robe, and a study nook, as well as a private bathroom. Parking Spot available at additional cost. It's a quick and easy trip to the city, with the bus stop literally outside, and less than 10m walk to the light rail stop. There's a supermarket within a five minute walk of the flat, and plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. Room available from October 2.
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney. I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. I'm vegan, but not the annoying kind (yes, we exist!). If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. If this doesn't suit, it's absolutely no issue - it would just be a nice bonus for me! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better.
Hi, I'm looking for a room (preferably with own bathroom) in a home within walking distance of Parramatta Rd in the Inner West - basically I would like to be a short walk to Camperdown Fitness I'm an architect, but currently in training to be a body piercer as well. I'm a reliable and considerate housemate to live with. I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people, but I'm pretty easy going and don't mind the occasional house party. While I do like alone time, I'm also happy to chill out together.
Along with great conversation i am a very easy to get along with person. A few benefits of having me around are coming from Italian heritage i am a great cook, i'm extremely clean and tidy, i'm quiet, keep to myself mostly and am considerate of others around me. I am also a musician (guitarist, drummer, pianist, DJ) which harbours the main reason for moving down. To chase the dream of becoming an internationally recognised producer. I work in hospitality as a bartender most of the time although I'm also a barista. I also sell alot of my music on social media platforms for a little pocket money :) For fun you'll find me at the beach catching a few waves. I'm also quite a social person so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to find me amongst the nightlife (especially being a DJ) This is only a minute description, if you would like to know more please don't hesitate to send me a message.
Hey! I am 24 and new to Sydney. I'm looking for a flat to share with another person or two, however, I would prefer my own room. I would be happy to join or if you would like to team up to find an entirely new place I would be quite keen on that too. I have a couple of places in mind so if you’re looking to team-up and we get along we could go check them out together! I am a friendly, clean, respectful and easygoing person. I enjoy creating a cosy and beautiful living space. I would be busy pursuing a masters at USYD and possibly teaching part time, but would fancy good company to grab a drink with occasionally or a yummy brunch (which ever you prefer ...or both) Since I’m not from around here I would love to make some friends so if you’re looking to keep to yourself at all times that may not be what I’m looking for! Pop me a message if you’d like to have a chat. xx
I'm an easy-going 33 years old Brazilian guy from Sao Paulo. I like to chat with my roommates but am also able to have my quiet times when needed. I clean after myself and like to have fun in life.
