Large unfurnished room with plenty of storage available for rent. House shared with myself 42 year old male & 1 other 53 year old male. We're both pretty busy but don't mind sharing a meal after work etc. But usually just do our own thing for meals. Double bed available if required. Pets considered, small/medium well trained dog or cat should be ok. Rent includes a fortnightly cleaner, electricity, water & wifi. Gas is to be split (extra). In addition there is a small shared study with computer and second TV, as well as other living areas etc. Bathroom is shared with 1 other person. House has central gas heating, AC in living areas. I work full time from home and there would be the odd doorbell/delivery during the day, so may not be suitable for shift workers. Looking to share with considerate, friendly and tidy person. More about the house - • Large family home has been extended & renovated. • Multiple living areas • Large kitchen w/ dishwasher. • Ducted gas heating. • Large backyard. • Short drive to City, Woden, Fyshwick etc. • Close to local shops and public transport (1 bus to the city or Woden). • Short walk to Red Hill nature reserve. The photo's provided aren't current (they are from a few years ago), garden isn't so green & the furniture has changed etc.
Nurse fresh out of uni, love the snow and mountain biking anything downhill really depending on the weather. Well established methods of long term meal prep, neat, tidy and respectful, mildly good puns. Happy to keep to myself on Netflix ect. or be social with housemates, and will be working full time shift work.
Hey guys I'm a youth worker, I have escaped Canberra for the winter but will be looking for a place to live when I return in September. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans. Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Moving to Canberra to start work as a veterinarian. I'm super tidy, quiet but chatty, and definitely don't party! I have 2 indoor cats (one is 5, one is 9) who are completely neat - can provide great references for these two (and me, of course!) from previous rentals. Being a vet, they're well looked-after, and I can make them disappear for inspection days (to the clinic) if need be! I enjoy videogames, reading, gardening, cooking, hiking, & day trips to the beach. I have all my own things to fit in a room, and will probably spend most of my time there - but also enjoy having a chat in the kitchen and doing game nights if you like them. I'm looking to move in for around 2 months minimum, but staying longer isn't out of the question if it suits.
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal.
Hey there, my name's Ethan and i'm looking for a new bunch of legends to live with! I work full time as a carpenter, but like to spend my free time taking trips down to the coast, riding the mountain bike or enjoying the company of my friends. I've been living in different share house configurations for the last few years, but as I'm sure you know, things change and people move on. I'm very tidy, respectable, and punctual with rent/bill payments. I can provide roomie references from any of my previous share houses if needed!
3rd year medical student at ANU. Currently working weekends at a car wash. Friendly, respectful, pleasant, easy going and approachable. Not much of a party goer and tend to spend time at home in my room studying.
I am a friendly, clean and quiet health professional prospectively looking for long term accommodation to share with someone who is similar. I appreciate the simple things in life and ideally am looking for a place to call home that is safe, secure and quiet.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
This is a unique property, spacious yet homely. Modernised for comfortable living, yet retains the luxury of its past life as an Embassy, with crystal chandeliers and marble staircase. All bedrooms are lockable for privacy and safety and have been furnished with beds, tables and reading lamps. Some have their own televisions, though there is an upstairs communal entertainment room where guests can watch television or one of the many DVD movies or tv series in our library. The kitchen and other common areas provide all facilities for a home away from home experience for people coming to Canberra to work. Everything is provided - you only pay one weekly fee which covers all bills, wifi, use of linen and home cooked evening meals. If you enjoy nature there are walking trails close by or you can check out the kangaroos at close range when they visit the property of an evening. A unique and special place to call home while you become established in Canberra.
We are moving into a new place on the 12th of July and are looking for 2 housemates to join us! About the house: It’s a lovely big 4 bedroom house with 1 bathroom, separate toilet and an ensuite on Lynch Street in Hughes, super close to the Canberra Hospital, Woden and public transport. There is a big kitchen and meals area downstairs, with plenty of cupboard space and a dishwasher (yay!) and a sunny lounge room upstairs. The house has ducted gas heating and air-conditioning in the sitting room and the main bathroom, toilet and laundry have just been renovated. It will be fully furnished with everything you need except for the available bedrooms, but there will be space if you’d like to bring some furniture too. There is a big backyard with a little patio area and a shed for extra storage. About the rooms: We have 2 rooms available. The upstairs master bedroom with ensuite and built in robe, $190 p/w + bills and a second generous room downstairs with built in robe, $160 p/w + bills. Bond is 4 weeks rent, split evenly ($650). Unfortunately the lease says we can’t accommodate any more pets or couples. We collect the keys on the 12th July so we’re hoping to find new housemates to move in around that time and preferably longer term. If you’re interested, send us a message, we’d love to meet you! We can also organise to open the house before our move in date to show you around.

I’m a young professional working in journalism. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of privacy. I enjoy cooking, watching netflix, playing tennis, going to the gym and running. I’m looking for a room to rent in or around the city.
Moving to Canberra for a role in science communication and am looking for a social share-house in the inner suburbs. I enjoy film/tv, music, board games, travel, food and wine, and although I am keen to hang out and meet new people, I also enjoy quiet time with a book :) Clean, tidy, respectful (and it's important to me that you are too!) and with prior experience living in shared accommodation.
