Hi I'm Tom, I am a second year postgraduate medical student at the ANU. I am originally from NZ and spent four years prior to commencing my postgraduate degree studying in the US on a tennis scholarship. I am easy to get along with, enjoy watching sports, exercising and hanging out with friends in my free time. I lived on campus for my first year at ANU and am now looking for a room in a quiet off campus flat for my next year of study. If you want to know any more about me or have an available room please feel free to contact me. Thanks.
I'm a graduate doctor who will be interning at Canberra Hospital starting this year. I am from Malaysia and this is my first time to Canberra. I have visited other parts of Australia namely Melbourne - spent a few months here, Sydney and Brisbane. Australia is a beautiful country that I have come to love and I am excited to embark on a new journey here. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, chilling out, meeting new people, and going for runs. I also like trying out new food and new activities, meeting new people and going on adventures. I try to keep my room and living space neat, keep the noise down and I don't keep pets. I respect your space as much as I would love to open a bottle of wine with my housemates so I am pretty flexible in that area. ;) Looking forward to my days in Canberra! :)
Hey, I'm Rich and am moving down to Canberra from Sydney in the new year to begin a graduate role with the Department of Finance. I'm looking for a place with some friendly housemates that has convenient public transport to my workplace in Forrest. Ideally I'd prefer a furnished property with an unfurnished private bedroom since I'll be moving my bedroom items with me. I'm relaxed and easy-going but also like to socialise and have a few drinks. I enjoy getting into the outdoors hiking, biking, paddle boarding and kayaking. I also like staying fit through running and going to the gym as well as reading, atrending concerts, watching sport and staying updated with current affairs. I'm clean and tidy and always do my share of the housework.
G'day! I'm a an easy going, reliable, tidy and respectful 29 year old from Brisbane looking for a new share house in Canberra to call home. I have a full-time IT job in Phillip which keeps me busy, so most evenings I'm pretty keen to take it easy and watch some Netflix or play video games. Though I also enjoy socializing and going out when work isn't too crazy
Hi, I'm Cameron. I'm working full time as an electronics engineer and moving for work starting on the 12th of February in Canberra's West, and looking for somewhere to call home. I'm currently living in a sharehouse and you will find me to be friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with. I'll keep the place reasonably tidy and pitch in for chores. I like enough of my own space, and respect that you probably do to, but otherwise tend to be up for a chat, even over a few drinks or a shared meals from time to time. I enjoy nerdy stuff like books and board games, but I also want to get out and explore our illustrious capital. So what am I after? I'd like to be within 20 minutes drive of work, 30 max (and obviously somewhere to park my car). Bonus points if I can cycle within 30-40 minutes too. (Preferred suburbs above are a guide only!) I'm after housemates who are easy to get along with, respectful, reasonably tidy, and will respect my need for enough of my own space and privacy. That said, I'm keen to live somewhere at least somewhat homely, so after housemates who want to hang out sometimes too. It's important that I meet (or at least talk to) all of the current housemates first. Also, I'm not interested in sharing with any couples (sorry!). The house will be big enough that I am able to have space from other people when I need it - whether or not much of that space is in my room. I also have my own bedroom furniture. Like what you see, but more questions? Don't hesitate to ask! I can also get you a reference from a current housemate on request.
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
Hi, I am a 4th year Radiography student at CSU and I have a final 36 week full-time residency beginning 29th January in Canberra. I plan on remaining in Canberra after placement concludes. I have previously lived on campus university accommodation in Wagga Wagga for the previous 3 years with up to 7 other people at a time. I am clean, friendly and respectful of other housemates and have never had any issues. My hobbies include fishing and I plan to join a local AFL team. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Cameron

Hi! I'm a 25yr old female moving down from QLD to Canberra to start work at the Canberra hospital in early January, and my boyfriend is late 20's working in the design field. We are quiet, respectful and tidy and have lived together for 3 years, and always had at least one roommate and gotten along well. We are down to earth and respectful of personal space, but also more than happy to hang out for a drink or check out events on the weekends. We are very independent and don't live in each other's pockets! Please let me know if you think you have something that could suit, time is of the essence!

Hi :) Freya and I are moving to Canberra and looking for a sharehouse together. Freya is 28, studied and worked in Political Economy at Sydney Uni. Then she has been working in the community sector in Darwin and remote Aboriginal communities for 4 years. Now she is doing a masters of Education that is placing her at a high school in Tuggeranong for 2 years. Dave is 31, studied physical geography and Aboriginal studies. He has been living and working with Yolngu people in Arnhem Land for the last 10 years, becoming fluent in the language and working in the cross-cultural community sector. He's following Freya and will find work in a Uni/Parks/Guiding/something? We both like a supportive home with good communication where we all contribute what we can. We like to share dinner with housemates and hangout when it works for people, while balancing with own space. Freya will be pretty busy with her near-full time study and 0.8 teaching load. Dave will be making dinners and looking for part time work. We're both politically left-of-center and would like to live in a queer-friendly house with like-minded people. We've decided to make the move back south and have been sad to leave our lovely Darwin sharehouse, and we're looking for something similar. Hope to hear from you soon! Freya and Dave
We are both ANU medical students with busy lives, who have been housemates for two years. We are respectful, quiet, communicative and great at sharing duties around the house. We'll stay out of your hair, but love the occasional housemate dinner. We have lots of experience living with people from all walks of life, and get along well with just about anyone. When we're not studying, Will likes acting and Phoebe enjoys a round of golf.
I'm friendly and easy going, mostly keep to myself - but wouldn't mind occasional chats and a bit of a social house. I'll be starting full time work in Jan end. I like to keep the house tidy and am respectful of other housemates. I like to cook sometimes, read and have occasional outings with friends. I don't have a car, so would ideally like to live within walking distance (upto 10 minutes) from a main bus stop.
Hi I am a recent ANU graduate and am now working full time. I am looking for a room in a sharehouse or some people to team up with. I am clean, social and friendly. I love cooking and meeting new people. I am also a sporting person, I play ultimate frisbee competitively and love exploring the outdoors.
G’day everyone, I’m a friendly marine biologist who swore to never move back to Canberra when I left there after high school. So, I will keep my word for atleast 5 Years, but after that it’s touch and go. I will be starting full time work for Australian fisheries management authority in February, and I have been travelling the last 6 months, so may take some time getting used to having a schedule again, let alone not living the uni lifestyle. Expect complaining about how hard my life is for the first few weeks (just kidding, probably) Usually do something adventurous on the weekends, summer will likely be spent at the coast where my grandparents have a little place, which you would be more than welcome to use if we become buddies. I will likely be surfing and or diving during these times, until footy comes around. Also, please let the record show that I will try and drag you to gigs whenever good music comes to Canberra. Feel free to message me on this, I’m currently living in Norway so email or this is the best form of contact. I’ll be moving back to Canberra at the start of feb, but if I find something I really like then I may be inclined to pay a little bit of dead rent to secure it :) Cheers
Hi my name’s Rithvik! I’m a young professional making the trek up from Melbourne to join the APS, and I’m looking for a share-house to move into by early/mid-February. My clients usually come after hours and sometimes for a few hours on weekends. If you think this is possible, please let me know!
