Hi there. My name is Tim, I'm 40 years of age and I'm looking to rent a room/place on the Gold Coast. I have literally just jumped in my car and am making my way to Queensland from Melbourne, I will arrive some time in the next 2 to 3 days. This is a long overdue change of scenery. I don't have a real plan for when I arrive, that in itself is the plan though. I do have some money behind me and the ability to do food delivery, I'm just going to figure the rest out as I go along. I do umpire aussie rules footy too but I know it's not too popular up in Queensland. It is my intention to stay for only one month, however If things go really well and I choose to stay longer, I will happily pay any further rent upfront. I am looking to cram in as much fun as I possibly can but I am still respectful, considerate, easy to get along with and a neat and clean person. I have a small, elderly dog. He would likely get snappy if crowded or grabbed by young children, so I would not move into a property that presented that danger. In the past I have operated my own gardening maintenance business, I would be more than happy to be responsible for maintaining any outdoor area.
