I love to grow my own food if there is space, I love working in the garden. Im on a mission to settle down and save to buy my own place. I would like a place to call home for a year or 2.
I'm pretty new to living in share houses and therefore want to make a good name for myself in that regard. I'm quiet, respectful and like to keep to myself, but I don't let that stop me from socializing and making friends with others. I'm really just in this for the wealth of experience.
Friendly, easy going and clean (even approved by ocd ex boyfriend). I have been living in a Melbourne and just about finished studies in Aged Care(have been working in Real Estate up to now) and looking for something a little bit slower paced by being in Geelong. Sadly as I am now 30, I’m kind of over the party scene. Defo up for dinner and drink. I am partial to a chat but happy with own space too. Ideally would suit someone who is also tidy and someone who has a bit of banter. Also, I am Irish but have been over here 7 years and call this place home!
Congratulations you have found the listing for our recently free, spare bedroom! The previous tenant has recently got a job in Melbourne and has thrown in the gauntlet after a few months of commuting. Our place is located a 10-15 minute walk to the middle of Geelong! How good! 800 meters from the Botanical Gardens (love me plants). 1km from Eastern Beach, great news in Summer. A quick jog to the hospital never had the pleasure thank goodness ;) The room has a window that gets a good amount of sun throughout the afternoon. It is big enough to fit a double bed and still have space to have a floordrobe. Comes with floating shelves at the end of the bed... oooh futuristic :O The wardrobe is inbuilt. The house itself is quite spacious considering three people living in it. There is even space for our ping pong tournaments downstairs. Kitchen has all the essentials, stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher. We are currently lacking a washing machine, extra points if you already have one and want to bring it along ;) The bathroom has a bath, shower and a toilet. There is one hand basin with a big old mirror to lose yourself in. Any more details, just shoot me a text :)
Hey all! A quick snippet about me, I guess! I work part-time at BWS/Woolworths and I am looking to make the big move from Ballarat to Geelong! I currently study Arts/Education at Federation University so you will definitely have days to yourself! Big lover of animals and music, bonus points if you also enjoy these things! No animals of my own so no stress there, won't turn up on the day with 8 cats (:() Big fan of video games so ideally would love a property that has cable installed or a housemate that would be open to me organising this! Definitely a social butterfly, would ideally like to become friends with the person I live with, but also prone to running out of energy so you'd definitely have time to yourself too! Have rented through flatmates and real estate before so definitely have a good rep in regards to that! Looking to move around JUNE 30, a little before or after is fine too! Let me know if interested, I've been sending a few messages around too :)
Hi! I'm a 21yo Tasmanian moving over to Geelong to study Law/International Relations at Deakin Waterfront Campus. I'd love to share a house with a group of people who are happy to do things together, even if its its just occasionally sharing a beer :) But I also respect others privacy and know that I too will be spending lots of time either in the library or my room studying. Having recently returned home after 14 months travelling around the world, I have definitely learnt some useful skills which will help around the house! Anywhere from cooking to folding a fitted sheet! Anyway, I hope you'll consider me for your spare room!!

Perfect location in the heart of the city! Large, light filled room for rent available in Geelong. Only five minutes walk to Geelong CBD, 10 minutes walk to South Geelong train station and 15 minutes walk to Geelong Waterfront. The common areas of the house are all furnished (this includes the kitchen, laundry and lounge room) with everything you need. The bedroom can come furnished if required / preferred.
Hellloo. I have recently moved to the area almost 6 months ago now. Lived along the coast for the summer but need somewhere closer to work. I work between Deakin Uni and the Arts&Culture Dept with the council. Quite chill but do appreciate a clean and tidy home. Looking to move in with others about the same age or life path ie young professionals. Happy to have a chat or do my own thing as long as there are laughs to be had.
One room available in an amazing central location in Geelong. 2 minute walk from the hospital and 5 minute walk from centre of city. Hugely convenient for those studying/working at the hospital. With a spacious living room, high ceilings and well-appointed kitchen area, the common areas do not disappoint and whilst the house is currently fully furnished with furniture, we are open to negotiation if you have some special pieces you could not bear to part with. The bedroom is easily large enough to fit a queen sized bed and a desk, and comes with a built-in wardrobe. The bedroom has a shared bathroom with shower and bathtub. Rent is paid monthly and includes fortnightly cleaning, gardening and internet costs (unlimited data at cable speed). The house comes with a spacious backyard/entertaining area with a developing vegetable/herb garden for those who want to try out their green thumb. There is also a covered garage, but the house has ample on-street parking as well. Close to bus-stops, and a 2 minute walk from a small shopping area with an IGA, bakeries, cafes and markets to explore. Availability date is set for June 4, but the exact date is to be confirmed. If this looks or sounds like a house you'd be interested in, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or we can organise a walk-through to see if it is a good fit. I promise that the house is better than the description and that the first to see will be the one to move in.
We are looking for a new housemate to move into a large sized bedroom in our waterfront share house. Please feel free to message me with any questions on madelynedowning at live.com.au!
Looking to a rent a room in Geelong for up to a 6month period. I'm currently working full time in Geelong as a consultant (Mon to Fri). I enjoy hitting up the gym after work or visiting friends. When I home I usually cook up quick feed & then go rest my head with a tv show or movie. I'm alway most weekends but could stay in Geelong on the odd one to enjoy the coast. Willing to pay up to $200 per week depending on location & bills being included.
Hii, I’m Grace, I’m an eighteen year old student at fed uni. I’m doing a bachelor of psychological science and I have classes Monday-Wednesday, besides that I’m looking for part time work. I’m pretty laid back and boring, I also have an old cat that prefers to lounge outside. I’m more interested in teaming up with just one other person, but I’m open to more/moving into a sharehouse. Please feel free to message me!
I just moved down to Victoria a week ago and am looking for some friends and a place to call home. I’m very easygoing and am happy to have a chat or keep to myself. I am currently working casually while looking for full time work. I like to spend my time at home or the gym if I’m not working. I cook my own meals and keep my space clean and tidy.
I'm a relatively happy & quirky individual that likes to be self sufficient. I budget all of my costs carefully to insure I don't gain debt that won't allow for my personal business as a performer to florish over the next few years. I am neat, respectful and cook my own meals. One of the first questions I will ask is "what are your pronouns?", I like being able to address people as they wish to be. I have been working as a waitress/kitchen hand at Armageddon Cake in Geelong Central for the past year with a fairly stable income. Looking to take on a secondary job in addition to teaching and waitress work at the end of my course. Musically inclined, I am a vocal coach, teach basic guitar & piano method and am a performing musician. I write songs and manage myself as an artist. I do some graphic design and drawing more as bolsters for my career or hobbies. A bit alternative in lifestyle choices: I am a vegetarian (but other people choosing to eat meat around me doesn't bother me), also gluten free (sensitivity) and into crystal healing. I do use oracle cards and am not religious. I like pastel colours, rainy days and love reading a good book. I'm quiet other than the odd sound of a piano or guitar while I sing. I am happy to pay extra on bills but would prefer the amount i would pay to be arranged prior to my moving in if it is on top of rent. Internet is something I would like to have access to as well but not absolutely necessary for it to be included in rent price. Looking to move in late November - mid December when my lease ends. I look forward to meeting you all. 😊 Current education as it stands: Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (completing this year) Cert 2 in Business Management Cert 1 in Audio Engineering
