I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy agreement, the place is great! But I want a house that’s a little bigger to share with more people. This place would be ideal for a couple! Or two people looking to share a place and not too worried about it being too intimate. Or even just a single person looking for a place of their own! The landlord and real estate is very attentive and will take care of anything that needs to be taken care of! The date is easily changeable, as soon as I find people willing to move in, I’ll be applying for other places. And once I have found somewhere. You can start preparing to move in! It’s in a quiet area of Georgetown, down the road from a park, and Waratah shopping village, it is close to both Uni and Newcastle city. In between if you will. I’ve loved the area and living here over the past year and a half and I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as I did! It has an air conditioning, built in cupboard in the main bedroom, carpet and tile. New hot water system. Water is included in rent. Please message me if you have any other questions and arrange a time to come check this cute place out!
Relocating from Armidale for work, working within the banking industry. Clean, tidy and happy to live with pets. Enjoys going to the markets, catching up with friends and spending time outdoors. Looking for people of a like mind that would work well together in a house. Not interested in student accommodation if it's a regular party house, but a few casual bevies on the weekend is welcomed.
Hi future flat mates! My name is Liam, I am a hard working 21 year old guy who loves to chat, have a laugh and just relax. I'm clean, well kept and always open to having a conversation.. I like to keep my possessions in tip top shape and am a bit of a clean freak for those sick of dirty housemates! I am working full-time in Hamilton as a sales executive and would like to move nearby, I'm not local to Newcastle so I would love to meet some Novascastrians to show me the rounds :) I love cars, catching up for a cold one and going out and about. I require a garage to park my car, willing to pay extra for this.
Hey! I'm an Engineering student at the University Newcastle looking for a place to rent. Duration: 6-12 months. Internet connection: NBN. Ensuite: Preferable. Smokers: No. I'm an open-minded person and accept people from all walks of life. Tend to be respectful of other people's space and boundaries, although I do love a good discussion. In essence, the best way to describe me is as having an INTP-T type personality. Cheers.
The rest of the house is fully furnished, we are in close proximity to everything especially kmart :). The lounge room has an old air con system which still works, there is a seperate toilet. The room still obviously has all my stuff in it but will be cleared out closer to date. Move in date negotiable! :)
I'm looking at joining a share house with an unfurnished room or getting my own place around December. Working full time in the Newcastle area. I work 5 days a week mon -fri. I'm down to earth, easy going, motivated, I am very social but I also enjoy spending time on my own. I have a sense of humour, I'm always laughing and stirring someone up. I am considerate when living with others, I am clean and tidy, enjoy chilling with housemates or doing my own thing. I've lived with shift workers so I am aware of respecting other housemates working patterns. I have one loving, behaved dog, Border collie named Chet, we go for walks/runs/plays at the beach. Ideally, someone who would like the company of a super loving pooch. Originally from the Hunter Valley, 2 hours away, I am in Newcastle now, just looking for a place to set myself up. Feel free to get in contact with me.
Hi potential housemate. I’m renting out a fully furnished room in my unit at Georgetown. My current housemate is moving out 12 Nov but she offered to move out early to give me more freedom to find the right person. The apartment is in a complex built in the 70s (I think), but this one has been redone. The kitchen is lovely with a dishwasher and they have installed a reverse cycle air conditioning. The apartment is done in a range of purples which is actually kinda cool as it’s not your average beige rental. The bathroom also has a bath. The bedrooms get the morning sun and a balcony off the lounge room gets the afternoon sun. It’s lovely 😊 There are loads of trees around the building which gives a rare green element to apartment living. The room has a double bed and some clothes storage. There is no extra storage so it might not be right for someone who has a lot of stuff. The location can’t be beaten (in my opinion). It’s right next to the Georgetown main strip which has bakeries, a fruit shop, a butcher, a Post Office, a bottle shop, a café, 3 hairdressers, a Chinese restaurant and a fish and chip shop. Oh and Waratah Shopping Village (and the 24 hour K-Mart) is a five-minute walk. There are also great transport options. It is a less than 10-minute drive to the Uni and it’s about 15 minutes in the other direction to get into the city. There is also loads of on-street parking available all the time. If you don’t have a car, a bus stop for the 226 (that goes between the Uni and the city) is directly across the road. I catch the bus most days to avoid trying to find a park, and it’s cheaper ($1.05 each way). Waratah train station is also a 10-minute walk away.
I am moving to Newcastle for work and am looking for some easy going and friendly housemates to move in with. I am tidy and respectful and have lived in shared accommodation for the last four years. I will be working full time so will not be home much throughout the week but will be keen to have a chat and the occasional drink and meal with others.
Georgetown is a beautiful quiet suburb. Our house has a large yard and street parking. It is super close to public transport, Uni (both campuses) and shops, parks and great cafes. Private rental with minimal hassle from the owner. The room available is smallish - big enough for queen bed and wardrobe but not a lot else. It has carpet, ceiling fan and window and is unfurnished. There is no picture due to our old housemate's stuff still being in there. (We do have other storage space)

Hi, I’m Shane, I’m moving from Wollongong to Newcastle because I want a bit of a change and Newcastle is as far as I can move away while keeping my current (great) job. Not only do I need somewhere affordable to live while I tie up loose ends and settle in, it’ll also be good to experience the whole housemate thing, I’ve lived on my own from the get go and it kind of feels like I’ve missed a rite of passage. I’m an easy person to get along with, I have a good sense of humour, I’m friendly enough but I like my me time as well. I’m pretty tidy and I’m well practiced at doing household chores. I’m not a culinary master but I enjoy cooking and I’m ok at it. I work as a (passenger) train driver, I am a shift worker and I don’t expect anyone to be silent when I’m sleeping at odd times but I’m probably not suited to a (constant) party house. I try to be healthy and when I have spare time I’m usually off on long walks on a beach or cycle track or anywhere interesting, I also do a bit of traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m hoping to live somewhere convenient (shops/transport/beach) but one thing that I definitely need is a parking space for my car. I would also hope to live with friendly people of a similar age that are reasonably tidy. I’ll be staying (in temporary accommodation) in the Newcastle area from the 26th of November and will be happy to meet potential housemates anytime from then.
I'm quiet and often in my own little zone, however I am friendly and outgoing, I get along with most people. I work 2 casual jobs and I study at UoN, so I will often be out of the house every day and come home at nights just to cook and meal prep, sleep and shower. I will be studying with any spare time i have in my room. Thanks
Hi, I'm Satya, a software developer working full time in Broadmeadow, Newcastle. I'm a sociable person and enjoy doing my own stuff after work such as reading, doing my online courses etc. I maintain a healthy lifestyle and would like to have a beer once in a while. I'm looking for a friendly people to live with.
Currently living on campus at the university so we strive in a social environment with the appreciation of personal space and quiet time. Both of us have casual work, study and have busy lifestyles. With experience in sharing spaces, we understand and pride ourselves of the importance clean areas. Looking for a place where we could ideally have our own rooms for ourselves and a fish, but also more than happy to share. Extremely trustworthy and reliable.
I am currently working part-time at aldi, whilst also studying secondary science teaching at university. I'm very easy to live with and know the drill with share houses as i have lived in them for around 4 years. I get along with just about anybody and am not afraid of a party every so often. I play a lot of sport namely soccer, between work, sport and my girlfriend i won't be around the house all the time but would definitely been keen for household activities and the like
Mechanical engineering student at Newcastle uni. Have lived on college for 2 years but looking to move off with a couple of good people. I'm fun, active and clean. I'm trying to get a full-time internship over the summer, but will be casual if not. Most of my friends are either staying on campus again, or have already organised something earlier. Looking to either team up with 2-3 others and rent a place or move into somewhere with a free room. Ideal roommates would be chill and enjoy a drink and inviting friends over on the weekends. Shoot me a message if keen, looking to move late November/early December.
I am a 21 year old uni student, looking to team up with a couple of people or find a room in a house in Newcastle. I have just finished my first year of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and also work casually as a disability support worker. I only work day shifts so am usually at home of a night. I enjoy socialising with other housemates but also like time to myself. On weekends I like to go to the beach, catch up with friends, go for day trips to new places and occasionally have a few mates over for drinks and a platter before going out. I do have an 11-month-old kitten Nala, she is timid at first but once she gets to know you she is super loving, friendly and playful. I am currently keeping her as an indoor cat but at the right property I would like to let her be able to go outside if she wants. If you're interested then I'd love to meet up for a chat and a coffee!
Have to move by the 1st of January but happy to move a little bit sooner. Student, non-smoker, not a heavy party person. I can be both talkative or if you prefer an invisible housemate then I am able to manage that pretty easily. I am easy going and relaxed but not sloppy or a messy person. Currently studying history at uni, I enjoy video games, movies, hanging out with friends and medieval reenactment (when I can manage it)
Hey guys! My name is Rachel, I am a Uni student and I work casually. I am looking for two wonderful people who will be willing to move in with me in the very near future! I am currently looking to transfer my current lease to someone else and then find something much bigger and nicer to move into! I will be on the lease and ideally you would sublet through me, so you won’t need to worry about the house hunting part or bond. I’ll sort all that out. All you’ll need to do is move in and pay rent! Of course I’ll be sending you photos of the type of properties I’m looking at so you know what you’re in for and you are welcome to join me at inspections if you so wish as well :) I would consider myself a neat and tidy person and would appreciate the same quality in my future housemates. Reliable and friendly! People who are happy to have their down time as much as they are to have a drink or five. I won’t be looking for places that allow pets or smokers, sorry! Please message me and let me know a bit about yourself and I will show you some of the properties I am looking at :)
My name's Mitch, I'm 19. I'm employed full time in IT I work Monday - Friday, and usually stay atleast one night a week in Sydney. When I'm at home I enjoy relaxing. Usually at my computer, listening to music or reading a book. I'd like a casual and laid back living environment, yet clean and social :)
Unemployed but looking for work, am an Independent Consultant for The Body Shop at Home, applied for university Yapug program next year. Can cook, keep to myself, like to drink once in a blue moon or at social gatherings (depends on mood), easy to get along with.
Hi, I am amiable. I can cook and love to have people around. Not too much of a cleanliness freak but like to keep clean in general. Don't smoke and love pets if my flatmates would like. Would prefer an ensuite.
My partner and myself have been living together for 7 months. Myself (Amber) works as a Nurse in disability and Sam maintains yard work for a company and will be off to uni early 2018. We're best friends and looking to share a house or rent a room with someone preferably a male or a couple. I believe we're great to live with, thrustworthy, reliable and enjoy making new friends. Somewhere that's pet friendly would be ideal as we would like to bring home a small dog once we're settled in. We're new to Newcastle area coming from a country town!
I am a 23 year old student, studying accounting at The University of Newcastle. I am a very friendly and caring person who is very open minded and always up to to try new stuff. Similarly, I am pretty tidy and in many cases organised although I like going with the flow as well. I like cooking and spending time with good people as well as just relaxing in a park, enjoying the summer while reading a book and listening to music. As much as I love time to myself and respect that others will too, I'll never be one to turn down a movie night, another hit of caffeine or just a chat about the day. I like to go out occasionally but dinner at home and/or drinks out the back with friends will always take the cake. Would love to live with others that are fun, caring, active and honest about themselves as I intend on being. Feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as I would love to hear from you. Moreover, I am easy going, laid back and love to be part of the house rather than just live. Plus, I work at Domino's so you can get pizzas from me! Looking to move in at the end of the month so feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as I would love to hear from you.
I'm chill but like to enjoy a sneaky bevy or two every now and then. Uni student working over the holidays. I prefer to spend most of my free time outdoors. I'm tidy and respectful of personal space, but also looking to make some new friendships! I love being social but I value my alone time as well. Just searching for a place for summer and the next semester of uni.
