I am neat and tidy, quiet and on a Disability Pension. Easy to live with and enjoy my own company. I am an outdoor smoker only, social drinker. I have 3 kids that do not live with me so I have decided that I would like to move back to Melbourne to be closer.
I'm moving to Melbourne to start a new job with the emergency services. Looking for a relaxed house with homey vibes and flatmates to hang out with. I'm an easy going type, looking for other low stress people to chat with and have a laugh. Bonus if we share some interests! I'm pretty active, I love snowboarding and diving, I've started to pick up surfing, and more recently a bit of mountain biking. I play a bit of piano, don't mind a hike and love random adventures. My chill mode go to's are the movies, good books and dessert. I make edible food, all veggie, and have most of the adulting things figured out. I'm good with money, so no stress about bills being paid etc. I come with an amazingly laid back dog, who is so laid back he's horizontal for 22 hours a day. He's terrible at fetch and at being a watchdog but is fully house trained, like his owner (win) and doesn't bark. He has lived with three cats no problem and only takes exception to them when they try to eat him, fair play. He's a big softie who loves a run in the park with the bike and to just chill out. If you're looking for someone to share a bit of time with not just space, shoot me a message!
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Hi! I'm Stephanie :). I'm 27, I currently live in a cute little house in Vermont South with my dog Harvey. We are looking for somewhere to live that is closer to work :). I'm from Melbourne and have lived here all of my life. I work as a nanny and PA, and I run a yoga therapy program for children. In my spare time I am training Harvey, taking him out for adventures, cooking up a storm in the kitchen (don't be surprised if I look like I'm cooking for an army, I love a big bulk cook up!), seeing friends, getting out and exploring Melbourne, among other things! I used to train for powerlifting and do running, but my fitness these days revolves around what I can include Harvey in. I love keeping fit and being healthy, but I'm definitely not going to shove it in your face. I love being able to interact with people - so if you're social then we will get along fine! Not that I'm into invading your space, I just like a home to feel like a home where everyone gets along! I'm super clean and tidy, but I definitely won't freak out over untidiness! About Harvey! He is 4, a rescue Staffy x Kelpie. He is the sweetest thing around. He is the biggest sook! Ask my housemate, she will tell you. If he's not climbing on you for cuddles, staring at you sadly for food, or getting the biggest sad eyes when you move one step away from him - something's wrong. He acts like the most hard done by dog in the world. BUT! He loves a good play, would sacrifice my life for a ball any day. Loves getting out to the dog park to socialise with friends. He comes to work with me a lot. When I'm away or he's alone for too long I leave him at my parents with their small dog and they get along amazingly. He might look or sound like a scary breed, but trust me - he is terrified of just about everything. Will scale walls with his head down to get away from cats. He is an inside dog who has the freedom to come in and out as he pleases. He has never once caused any damage, destroyed anything, had an accident outside, etc. Honestly. Meet him - you'll love him! I do have all of my own furniture and kitchen wares. Couch, tv unit, tv, fridge, washing machine, bedroom stuff, etc. I would love to be able to bring these along with me and with them in somewhere, but that's something we can discuss at any time! I'd prefer to live somewhere where there is only 1-2 other roommates. I love being social but we all need down time and our own space :). And I'm not someone who really cares about guests coming over unless they're there a ridiculous amount, in which case we'd probably just discuss what happens then!
I am Sam, a twenty something male. I believe there is a large difference between a house and a home. I have been very lucky with my prior housemates and consider them as some of my closest friends. I am currently looking at my options to see if there is anything suitable. I need parking for my car and a bit of storage room for a motorbike, snowboard gear but that is about the extent of my worldly possessions. I love animals but unfortunately don't have any of my own. I enjoy coming home for a chat over dinner but understand the need for personal space. I love sharing meals with housemates and share pretty much anything. I am clean, considerate, caring, compassionate and capable, essentially the 5 C's of housemating. I work full time in the city and always pay my fair share on time or in advance, whichever works best. Like everyone I do have my flaws which include taking some things personally, occasionally being forgetful but it is never something that can't be worked through. So if you think I might be a good housemate message me.

My name is Amy and my dog’s name is Gizmo. We are looking for a friendly, tranquil, animal loving share-house to settle into. I am 38 and currently study at uni full time whilst working part-time. I enjoy Yoga, walking with Gizmo, reading, cooking, watching movies/t.v shows and catching up with friends. I’m looking for a furnished house with an unfurnished queen size bedroom. If possible I'd like my own bathroom, but would be ok to share with one other person. Non-smoking house please, this also includes outside. I am neat and tidy, respectful of others and appreciate these same qualities in my housemates. I am ideally looking to share with one female, no couples please. Gizmo is a Cavalier X Tibetan Spaniel (small/medium dog) who is predominantly indoors. He is toilet trained and has a loving and social nature. I take good care of his hygiene so our house would never smell of dog. I’m happy to socialise with my housemate occasionally, but appreciate my alone time - it’s all about balance. Please feel free to contact me if you have a place you'd like me to consider, thanks :)
Hello Everyone, So a little about us; We're both tidy, we like our privacy and respect others privacy as well, and we also love a good chat with the housemates we do live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). We are looking for a nice homey feel, a big backyard/frontyard and a big room. If we can find all of that, it would be awesome. :)
My name is Kate and I am a Canadian (I know.. it's a good start right?) I am 25 year old dance teacher and choreographer and I'm looking for one or two other female roommates to share a flat with. I'm laid back, friendly and tidy and I love to cook and have a good glass of wine in my free time. I'm also used to living with roommates and have references if needed.
Hi there, My name is Fiona and I am looking for a place to live for the upcoming months starting around mid July. A little bit about myself: I am 22 years old and was born in Germany. I am half German and half Irish but grew up across Europe and Asia. For the past 5 years I have called Australia the closest thing to “home”. I am a born traveller and have visited more than 40 countries over the years. Actually I am just returning from 14 months overseas, studying on exchange in Canada and Malaysia and am therefore looking for accomodation. I would keep travelling if I could, but unfortunately my university needs me to actually be in the country for the last years of my degree. I am studying at Monash University in Clayton in my 4th year of a double degree in Environmental Engineering and Commerce. In my spare time i love to go snowboarding and surfing as well as play the clarinet, which I have been doing since I was a little kid. I have very much enjoyed living with other people in the past and am highly respectful of other’s space and belongings. That said, I do definitely enjoy to socialise over a beer every now and again :)
About us: Hi! We are two engineers (32 y/o and 23 y/o) who are looking forward to meeting a new housemate. We are often at work, playing sport or out and about elsewhere, so you may not see us all that much, but we don't mind catching up every now and then for a chilled night in or chat over dinner/beverage. We all have a good sense of humour and although we are all rarely at home together, we hope you will find the house a welcoming home too. About the house: We are looking for one new housemate for our lovely big house in Glen Waverley, as our third housemate is moving out. The place is close to public transport to Monash and Deakin Uni's, as well as either the Blackburn or Glen Waverley train lines. The Glen and BurwoodOne shops are very close, as well as several parks, gyms, and easy access to either the Monash or Eastern freeways. The house has a large kitchen (dishwasher and all appliances), shared bathroom (with a 2nd separate toilet), dining room and 2 generous living areas. There is ducted heating and fans in every room, carpeted bedrooms and lounge, and floorboards/tiles throughout the rest of the house. The backyard is also big, with a huge undercover entertaining area, vegie garden and lots of room to find your personal space. Your room is big enough to easily fit a queen size bed, desk and drawers and has a built-in wardrobe. The rent includes bills and internet. About you: We hope our new housemate will be a uni student or young professional, who is tidy and clean. Sorry, no smokers. Not much more to it than that!
Hi there! I'm looking for a long term home, living with respectful and like minded housemates and looking for a home instead of just a house to stay. I'd like to live with housemates on a long term basis who are mature, responsible, good, neat & tidy, quiet & respectful. Please contact me if you'd like to chat about it further. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Kind Regards, Rose
I'm going to be taking a heavy course load in a masters program, most of my time will go into study, but like all the places I've lived in it'd be cool to have a catch up with my housemates over supper or a glass every now and then.
Hello, all! I'm a Singaporean male student who will read an arts degree, majoring in media at Monash from July 2017. (Will be hunting for accom from 3 July.) Independant, neat, non-fussy and respects the privacy of others. Really pragmatic - I'm here to study, so I'm hoping to meet like-minded people who are interested in teaming up to share a conducive, liveable space. More about myself: I enjoy brewing coffee, slow mornings, reading, trekking and visiting art gigs whenever.
