Hi, I am Hannah and looking for a place to stay around Monash university / close to public transport where I will completing my PhD. I am friendly, outgoing but definitely understand privacy and am a respectful potential housemate.
I am currently working part time and is also looking for enrollment into university. I prefer cooking at home most times, but sometimes do like eating out. I am married so currently will have my wife living with me, after which she will be back to our country for 6 months before coming back again. Both of us love cleanliness and love to have flatmates who are friendly and clean. Providing a hand in cleaning and sharing the house chores won't be an issue. We love pets but do not prefer them inside the house. We are flexible and understand the diverse background from where people come from, hence we respect the difference of cultures and background as well as privacy. Hence, we are your perfect flatmates.
Quiet, comfortable, large home in Glen Waverley. Retired Australian lady, two other long term boarders and little dog. Room has queen bed, drawers, desk and built in robe. All utilities, including internet included in tariff of $180 per week. Fully equipped kitchen available for meal preparation. Lovely garden with pool and outdoor seating area. Prefer working person over 35.
Hey, looking for a nice chill house environment with nice house mates who are up for a chat yet also respectful of privacy. Always up for netflix, video games and board games when not studying. I'm pretty easy to get on with and will pull my weight with house chores:)
Hi there, we are a couple from Hungary on WHV, and we are searching for a place from the 3rd of December till the end of January. Chris is working as a full time 3D designer, and I'm working in a shop 5 days a week. After January, we are going to leave Melbourne, and moving to Queensland area. We are both reliable persons, and like to keep our space very clean and tidy. It would be nice to find a place where we are able to rest, and using our own bathroom. We don't have great expectations, just trying to find a nice, clean space where we can stay for 2 months :) cheers! alíz
Please note, the photographs are from the original house listing, so the furniture has changed. This place has just about everything you need. The whole house gets plenty of natural light from the courtyard situated in the middle of the house. There is evaporative cooling upstairs, ducted heating throughout the house, and a split system downstairs. As for location, it's in a quiet neighborhood with easy freeway access, and it's only a 12-minute bike ride to Monash University if studying is your thing. It's also a walk away from Waverley Cinema and Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre it has an indoor and an outdoor Pool, gym and a wave pool. The bedroom we are looking to fill is the highlighted in blue. It is a smaller room 3m x 2.8m but would fit a double bed a desk and a set of drawers or small wardrobe comfortably it would be great for a student, backpacker or minimalist, you will need to bring your own furniture as there are no built-in robes but there is a heating/cooling vent. You don't have to worry about bringing furniture for the rest of house as the lounge room, kitchen and laundry are fully furnished.
Hello future house mate(s), my name is Juben ,30, masters student in software development. Well I guess your right, I am currently looking for accommodation (somewhere I can call home), amongst awesome people in this great city of Melbourne, I am a student at Deakin university and a part time disability worker (so to makes me reliable with rent and other bills). I like to think of my self as a neat individual, especially on the weekends outside school and work time (yes, you can say I'm almost a mile away from an OCD individual). I am so particular about cleaning after myself, with more clean-ups there after. I love music, any genre is fine by me, as long as it sounds good, socialising when I have the time (outings or just hanging out with other house mates if they are available). So if my profile interests you, and you feel we can make an awesome team or you have a spare room available in your house . Hit Me Up!!!

Hi there, I am a working professional and recently moved over from NZ for work. I am looking for a great bunch of people to house share with or be part of an existing house share. I would say I'm considerate, tidy and very easy to get on with. Preferably, the place I move into is an unfurnished room as I have my own bedroom furniture. I am looking for a place in the south-eastern end of Melbourne. I enjoy going to the gym, taking my road bike out for a good ride and exploring new places or restaurants.

I am an organised and clean sort of person. I play guitar and a bit of piano, but don't worry I have headphones! I absolutely respect others privacy (as I do prefer my own also), but love to kick back and have a quiet beer after a days work or study. I'm sure we'll get along great!

Hey! I'm Renate, 24 years old but an old soul on the inside. I've been living independently in sharehouses for the past 3 years, but as my housemate has to move back home, I'm now looking for someone new I can team up and find a place with! I'm pretty well house trained, as my cat and past flatmates will attest, and value good communication as a key ingredient to a successful sharehouse. I'm good at taking initiative around the house and staying on top of chores! But because I know that my word is probably the same as every other person on here looking for flatmates, I'm happy for you to chat to my current housemate for his opinion, haha. I'm always down for a chat, and am keen to find someone that I really click with to find a 2BR (or at max 3BR) home. I come with a fair bit of furniture from my past sharing arrangements (fridge, washing machine, couch, coffee table, TV, appliances, crockery, cutlery, printer, dining set, etc.) and would strongly prefer to team up over joining an existing sharehouse. Achievements include: - never have run out of toilet paper in three years - always have milk in the house - good at organising logistics/bills etc. - come with concession utility rates (woohoo!) - always pay rent and bills on time So I'm a student, studying linguistics and French at Monash. I'm studying part time and will be in my fifth year in 2018. After I'm done with my undergrad, I plan to pursue postgraduate studies, most likely in Linguistics or another language-related field. I'm an absolute book worm and my passions include writing, video and board games, cross stitch, reading, the occasional bake- or cook-off, and general good times. I'm a real homebody and would like to put some roots down in my next rental, and find a place to stay for a good few years while I finish my studies. My cat, Matilda, is four and a half years old but still a kitten at heart. She's really such a sweetheart, although I admit I might be a little biased. Her qualifications include the successful conversion of dog people into cat people (can provide references to this effect). She is also a professional acceptor of belly rubs (4+ years experience). She'd probably prefer not to live with another pet, but she definitely makes up for it with twice the personality! As for the future house itself, I'd like to find a place that has a dishwasher and also has cooling in my bedroom. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible; I have a car so although I'd like to be relatively close to Monash, location is something I'm happy to compromise on if we can find a nice place! Anyway, send me a message if you think we'd be a good fit. We can meet up for a coffee and go from there! LGBT+ friendly please :)
Hey my name is Kenny, I'm a quiet, clean and friendly person to live with. I pride myself on my ability to be able to fit in and make friends in new places, but I respect peoples privacy too. I have 2 jobs, about to start an online course next year, and also run a small IT technology service business. I can cook and I always clean up after myself. For fun, I love to go to the gym, play soccer, play games and hang out with friends at cafes and quite bars or pubs on the weekends. I would love to live closer to the city, as I’m currently quite far away from my new job, in a location with a quiet but busier nightlife. Kind regards, Kenny Rai
Hi guys! I am a bubbly, well mannered and tidy 20 year old female who is looking for a room to rent close to Burwood and surrounding suburbs as I am currently studying Psych at Deakin. I am easy going and love to chat but also appreciate my own space as I can be busy with work and uni commitments. I work most weekends until late at the different stadiums around Melbourne so living close to public transport would be ideal as I don't have a car. I've lived in share houses for nearly 2 years now so I get the gist of how they work. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message :) Thanks Paige.
About Me: Hi, I am a 29 year old female working full time at Monash University as a Research Assistant. I like to think that I am fairly clean and tidy but I'm also not a clean freak that is worried over a few dishes in the sink. I currently have two (large) dogs that are inside when I am home but otherwise remain outside during the day and sleep outside at night (only live with me part time). They are well behaved and very friendly. I haven't had much time for hobbies around my work at the moment but with what spare time I have I go to the gym, walks, camp, cook, sew, watch too much sitcom on repeat and catch up with friends. Overall I consider myself quite relaxed and easy to get along with, I am also always up for a chat or interesting debate. Looking for: I am looking to move within an approx. 30 min commute to Monash University Clayton. I am currently inspecting rental properties that are up to around $500 p/w ($250 with a housemate). Ideally I would like to move at the end of November/start December. Happy to team up with someone to find a house or have someone move in once I find a place. I come with most furnishings (fridge, lounge, dining table, kitchen utensils and a spare double bed if needed etc).
Hi, I have lived in Melbourne for 8 years.Currently i am living in albury nsw for last 2 years. I want to move to a new place. I am friendly,a good company, positive attitude and honest person. I like cooking and help in the kitchen,be involve in other house duties, keeping fit, watching TV, movies, listening radio, shopping, driving, cycling, keeping the place clean etc.I can move to any area if its suitable for me.
Hi, I'm a 25 year-old graduate from Switzerland. I just moved to Melbourne for a full time traineeship. As I can only move in in my new room end of December, I'm looking for a furnished room near Oakleigh Railway Station for a short-term period (approx. 4 weeks) in which I could move in asap. Used to live in shared flats, I'm an open-minded, uncomplicated and respectful flatmate. :)
