It's right next to the beach and popular cafes, restaurants and pubs. It's an older home with lots of room, with solar panels which helps keep the bills down. Nice outdoor area and set in a lovely street with a great sense of community. We have heating and wifi. The room is freshly painted and has a great fresh feel.
Hey there, I'm Kel. I'm looking for a chilled out, long term home with awesome people in a great area. I don't have any kids, pets or hang-ups and get along with pretty much everyone I meet. I love to cook, read, and binge watch Sci-Fi, fantasy and horror shows. I'm currently shacked up with a friend in Christies but need to find another place by 20th May. I'm very friendly and respectful of people's personal space and can tolerate any weird quirks someone has. I look forward to chatting to some of you guys soon.
Update: We're currently staying at Glenelg South for 3 weeks and are looking for an accommodation close to Jetty Road -- Hello, potential Flatmates :) Junaid (my husband) and I are moving to Adelaide from Bangalore, India on the 9th of April 2017 and are absolutely thrilled! We visited Adelaide last year and we are now excited to be living there. We loved Glenelg during our visit and would love to be able to stay there. I'm a graphic designer and I love anything that is designed beautifully and I have an embarrassing addiction to pretty stationery! Junaid is a freelance web developer who works from home and loves technology. He likes to bring everyone in the room together with his twisted sense of humor! We both enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences but also like to keep to ourselves sometimes while we binge-watch Netflix and play on our X-Box. We're both from big cities so the things we enjoy are very "urban". We're hoping that Australia can make us appreciate the outdoors more! We're looking for a temporary flatmate until we find a home of our own. We're looking for someone with whom we can have our morning coffee and swap stories. Maybe even teach us the local culture and faux pas! We like keeping our home tidy and would prefer to live with someone who does as well. Feel free to ping us if you think we'd be a good fit! :)
I'm an Adelaide girl born and bread, but have been living and working away for the past 2.5 years. I was in London for 2 years and for the past 6 months have been in Sydney. My current job is ending soon and I'm oh so keen to come home. I work in film & TV as a Production Coordinator. I love the beach, running, yoga and just being outdoors in general. I love going to the cinema and the theatre, and seeing live jazz. I'm a big foodie and love discovering new spots as much as I love a good cook-up. I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful. I'm looking for a place to be able to call home.
myself an Indian national with an Australian PR. I visit Adelaide frequently and love to be based out of Adelaide during my visits. I am into the Facilities Management industry and work as an Operations Manager.

I work fulltime monday-friday and also work weekends in security. Being busy I appreciate respect for space and privacy, a non-party house and people who are kind to dogs. I need a place close to the beach as I walk often. Looking for a pet friendly place/yard for my 5 year old Border Collie, he's very well trained and super friendly. Am also keen for an ensuite, willing to pay more if so. Very clean, tidy, reliable, relaxed, professional, approachable. I'd like to share with others who are willing to equally clean the house.
I am a friendly, funny person who is neat, tidy and quiet. I am happy to help around the house and cook. I work part time at a motel, in my spare time I volunteer with horses. Hoping to not be just house mates, but create a friendship :-) thanks!
Hello and thanks for reading this! My name is Luke, I am Australian from the Flinder's Ranges and have travelled a bit. I love the beach and hiking, scuba diving and snorkelling. Being involved with the Latino community, I speak Spanish and I am interested in teaching English via Skype in the future. I will be looking for hospitality or civil drafting work once I find a happy home. I have plenty of savings so rent and bills are no problem. I have at least 4 years references of around $200 pw never missed. More about me... I don't smoke, love friendly bbq's, love reggae, salsa, merengue.. all the latino/caribe/pacifico music and culture. I like having a bevvy on social occasions and I certainly have no interest in drugs. I play a bit of acoustic and just bought a bright yellow ukelele. :) I have a lot of experience in share houses, I am open-minded and easy going, but will certainly stand up for what is right. I have many experiences that I would love to share and listen and learn what you have been up to. At the end of the day, I like nothing more than an occasional cold cider and a good book or scifi film. I cannot stand the TV! So if you like to watch the TV all the time and loud, I am probably not going to enjoy living with you :) I generally keep to myself, although I'm an open door kind of person. I like to cook and I always clean as I go. Lastly, I was in building and machine maintenance for 14 years, so no worries about leaky taps and broken door handles ;-) I really look forward to talking with you and meet for a coffee. Luke

We are a friendly young couple from Scotland and Ireland, hoping to see as much of Australia as we can throughout the next 18 months, with Adelaide being our next stop in June. We are an easy to live with couple; clean, tidy & sociable! We enjoy going for dinner & drinks, catching a movie, seeing tourist attractions or just chilling at home. We both enjoy exercising regularly; anything from long walks, outdoor workouts or just going to the gym. We would make great housemates!
Hola, I work full time as an apprentice cook in the city and am looking to move a bit closer to save some time (currently living in the hills). I work 5 days a week, often till late and apart from this responsibility I basically just go with the flow and take each day as it comes. When I have time off I like to chill out and listen to some tunes, go for a walk somewhere, go to the footy (when I rarely get a weekend off) or waste some time on the guitar or ps4 and contemplate what it is that I should be doing instead. I'd like to think I'm extremely easy to live with and respect other peoples' space. Free to move whenever I find the right place/people, preferably close to the city. Get in touch if I sound like your kinda housemate!
Hi, my name is Jenny. I am a full time student, studying 5 days a week so I would generally be out of the house for most of the day. I love to socialise, and have a good time, but also of course would need some time to myself to study from time to time. I am a extremely clean, organise and tidy person. Hobbies includes, having a laugh and chilling out with my friends, watching TV shows and movies, listening to music. I like to keep myself busy so I won't be home much, but when I am I'd love to live with laid-back, but social people that would be keen to hang out and have a good time, very sociable, ready to make new friends. I'd probably prefer to team up and start a lease with one or two other people. Would prefer staying with females but would also consider staying with males if the location and the price is right.
Hi future housemate! I am looking for a house to move into. It is exciting times for me as im moving into the next chapter of my life. I am hoping to find a great house/housemate to add to my exciting new changes. I am 25 year old and lived in 5 different countries so I know a thing or two how to get along with diverse people and extremely open minded. I love to watch a movie or enjoy dinner together with my housemate but also enjoy my own relaxing time. Please if you think you have the perfect house for me, don't hesitate to send me a message.
32 year old Irish male, professional, may be moving abroad for work in the comming months so short term lease preferred. Clean, respectful and an all round decent guy!!
Hi I am 19, looking for a furnished room to rent. I have a kitten as well so i am looking for somewhere for the both of us. I am currently working casual and looking for full time work. Looking to move in the next couple of weeks
I'm very clean however very easy going, I work mostly nights and enjoy a wine and good food and decent people. I like nice things so am not interested in a share house unless the right one came up. Not fussed living with guys or girls as long as you're not a Fuckwit. The beach suburbs are where I'm looking however open to something a little further away.
Hello! My name is Lorena and I am from Colombia; I am living with my friend Ximena. We are so nice girls and we are looking a place for a long time! If you have an option, please send me a message. Thaaank you :)
HELLO!! Your looking for an AMAZING housemate right? Keep reading!! Born in Adelaide and actively looking for a awesome house mate/s to live with. I have recently completed a Child, Youth and Family Intervention Support Work Certificate at TafeSA, working part-time at a Record/Music store and doing volunteer work with HYPA (Helping Young People Achieve) teaching students, to get their SACE certificates so they can finish their schooling. I have a positive "CAN DO" attitude towards life, fun, friendly, happy, clean, trustworthy, respectful and helpful. I love cooking delicious food (usually lol), reading, most music, comedy, fringe shows, having a few social drinks occasionally, keeping reasonably fit, the beach for a swim, sports, animals, and most importantly living life!! I own a pet turtle who I've had for about 5 years and he's always hungry... so watch your fingers :) I also have legitimate reference/contact details from my landlord/business owner for your peace of mind. I always pay bills/rent on time and looking for minimum stay of six months or more depending on how things work out. I have been offered plenty of other housing options, but am looking for what best suits me (and YOU), and I'm in no rush to move in with just anybody. I have house shared before and not new to "washing dishes, putting out bins and vacuuming floors" :) I would prefer good friendly housemate/s who can get along, socialize and have a laugh with from time to time, but also respect space and privacy. I will do my best to reply asap to any questions etc, good luck.. :)
I'm a mid 20s male studying a double degree of Education at Flinders Uni whilst also working 2 jobs. One as a Occupational Therapy Assistant and the other as an Event Specialist, so most weekdays (9-5) I am either studying or working. As well as this I also play Football on Saturdays. I can be both sociable and keep to myself depending on the environment and requirements. I have been known to enjoy sharing a chat and a beer/wine or 2 in the evening and love cooking, music and reading as well as watching movies or a tv show or sports. I have lived in a share house previously and am able to adapt to multiple personalities and know the expectations that living in a share house requires. I am a clean and tidy person and will always do my share of household jobs. I can also bring with me (if necessary) an extensive range of utensils and equipment necessary for a house highlights being a washing machine and a fridge as well as two recliners and a kitchen table (potentially also a table tennis table if it can fit!).
